Alabama’s new State House is on track for a January 2027 debut, just in time for the next legislative session. Approved in September 2023, the project is being built by RSA with state funding—including an 8% administrative fee—and offers future ownership or a 25-year lease. The new building will sit right behind the historic 1963 structure, slated for demolition by late 2024 to create green space.
