- 0:07SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: Here we go.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: This is the Opinionated Orga podcast,
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: your weekly rampage to current events with a little snark,
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: a bit of foul language,
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: and a lot of strong opinions.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: There are new episodes every Wednesday,
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: and they're not safe for work or polite company of any kind whatsoever.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: My name is Justin Rosario, a.k.a.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: The Opinionated Ogre, and this is my co-host, Shannon Arrugula.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Sorry, what is it again?
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Shannon Arrugula, the woman who's tired of me mispronouncing her last name for the last 15 years.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Hi, Shannon.
- 0:46SPEAKER_03: Hi, good morning, guys, just like he did again.
- 0:49SPEAKER_03: Arrugula.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: Arrugula?
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Arrugula?
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: Arkansas?
- 0:58SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'll take that one.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: So this is our second take of this episode because we started recording,
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: except that wasn't actually recording.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: So we got like 10,
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: 15 minutes into it and realized,
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: hey,
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: absolutely nothing's been recording this whole time.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: So we're doing this again.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: He sounded like he wanted to throw his keyboard across the room.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, we were on a roll there and nothing recorded.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: ranting hard yeah i i didn't curse a lot though i was i'm very proud of myself i
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: wasn't just this time yeah well you know we'll get to it anyway um there was some
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: jokes about hurricanes and rain but you know can't you can't do that twice so we're
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: just gonna move on now i'm very sad
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Anyway,
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: we are now in episode 17 of the OG pod,
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: which means it's legal in most states and no longer attractive to most elected
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: elected Republicans.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, we have a lot to get to today.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: So here's a quick preview of today's festivities.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Things are getting ugly in Ohio.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: People keep trying to kill Donald Trump and he's blaming liberals for some reason.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Laura Loomer is Trump's latest albatross.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: We're still waiting on those stolen Trump emails.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Shannon gives us the goods on Florida's abortion rights amendment.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: And Jill Stein humiliates herself in the most amazing way possible.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: So, all right, I'm ready to go.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: So let's get to it.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: It's time for the Ogre Nation news update.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: All right, Shannon.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: So Ohio, things are getting significantly worse there because Donald Trump and J.D.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Vance are assholes and they're trying to distract everybody from their failing
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: campaign and just all the terrible things that Trump is doing and how awful his
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: entire campaign is going.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: So that's been fun, hasn't it?
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know, we level it all.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: wednesday morning racism from the republican party i mean it's a day ending and why
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: so you know it's absolutely it's just true just just racism all over the place
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: every time things are down let's pull out the racism
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, I wrote about this, I think it was yesterday.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, no, that's right.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: It was my Banter article on Tuesday.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, this is like a long-term pattern for the Republicans.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Every time they have a campaign and it's going badly, they hit that racism button as loudly as they can.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, you had the migrant caravans.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: What's his name?
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: He's the freaking governor of my state.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Glenn Youngkin went full in on anti-Semitism in 2017.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: In that particular instance, it worked.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: Most of the time it doesn't, but they still keep doing it because that's all they know how to do.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: That's their whole thing is, you know, getting white people angry and scared so they'll vote.
- 4:08SPEAKER_03: Well,
- 4:08SPEAKER_03: it's always better if you think that the other is coming for your job,
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: your house,
- 4:13SPEAKER_03: your wife,
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: whatever it is.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, pretty much.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: And they do.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, just goes all the way back to Reagan, you know, and his young bucks and his.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: As far back as Nixon.
- 4:25SPEAKER_03: Remember Nixon did the.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: The Southern strategy.
- 4:28SPEAKER_03: Well, the Southern strategy.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: Plus he was very much the worth.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: I'm a law.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: I'm the law and order president.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, that was the entire point.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: Breaking the law behind the scenes.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was the entire point of the war on drugs, right?
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: Was so he could just, you know, just destroy the black community.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: And it worked.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah,
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: because,
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: well,
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: because I don't know if anybody else has ever seen that documentary called 13th or read,
- 4:56SPEAKER_03: or read.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: I think her name's Michelle Alexander,
- 5:01SPEAKER_03: the new Jim Crow,
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: where she talks about how mass incarceration is the new Jim Crow.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's always its function.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Always its function.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Which,
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: I mean,
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: we all saw that when the opioid epidemic started hitting white communities really,
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: really hard.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: And all of a sudden Republicans were like,
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: we have to be kind and gentle with these poor drug addicted people.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: We can't just throw them all in jail.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: It's like, but what happened to the war on drugs?
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: I thought we had to lock up all, you know, you do drugs, you go to jail.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: What happened to that?
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, because it's white people now.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:39SPEAKER_03: That's how that's another rant for another day, guys.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Anyway,
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: back to back to Ohio,
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: which I mean,
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Ohio is getting slapped around by a drug epidemic as our as our most white dominant states.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: But again, a rant for another day.
- 5:55SPEAKER_03: Ohio and Florida kind of worked hand in hand to start the opioid epidemic with
- 6:00SPEAKER_03: their with their pill mills.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: Well, that makes sense.
- 6:06SPEAKER_03: A rant for another day, my friends.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: We'll have to put that one in the notes and get to that.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: So, all right.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: In Ohio, the Proud Boys have shown up.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: They've been parading around in the streets looking for people to terrorize because,
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: I mean,
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: they are essentially domestic terrorists.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: The KKK is now recruiting off of this,
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: looking to get rid of all the Haitians and immigrants,
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: et cetera,
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: et cetera,
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: foreigners and immigrants,
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: blah,
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: blah,
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: blah.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: We've had numerous bomb threats.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: To the point where Ohio Governor Mike DeWine,
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: and this is from the Huffington Post,
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: announced on Monday that he is sending Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers to be
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: stationed at each of the Springfield School District's 18 buildings beginning
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: tomorrow and considering for the foreseeable future.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Because...
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Republicans have turned this place into a big giant target for racist white people.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: And the fact that this isn't a bigger story that the Republican governor has to
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: send in the police to protect the city from the GOP's presidential and VP
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: candidates is a bit of a problem.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: Like it really should be a much bigger story.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: And it's just not because, you know, we don't really want to call.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: The press wants to talk about this,
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: but they don't really want to call attention to the fact that a Republican
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: presidential candidate is placing a city in a Republican state under siege.
- 7:37SPEAKER_03: And let's not forget that it's only been, what, two weeks or three weeks since...
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: the most recent significant,
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: well,
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: I mean,
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: all school shootings are significant,
- 7:48SPEAKER_03: but four people died in Georgia.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Yep, and they would love for that to happen again because of course they would, right?
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: So they can just complain about how this,
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: that,
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: and the other,
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: and it's the fold of liberals,
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: and it's immigrants,
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: and whatever.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: They're just going to keep lying through their teeth, which brings us to J.D.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Vance literally admitting out loud in an interview with Dana Bash that he made this
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: story up,
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: and he's continuing to make it up because he doesn't care.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Alright, I'm going to play the audio clip.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: the suffering of the American people,
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: then that's what I'm going to do,
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Dana,
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: because you guys are completely letting Kamala Harris coast.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: You had one interview with her.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: You talk about pushing back against me, Dana.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: You didn't push back against the fact that she cast the deciding vote on the
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Inflation Reduction Act,
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: which is why a lot of Americans can't afford food and housing.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: You just said that you're creating a story.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Pause, pause, pause, pause.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Sorry, you just said that you're creating the story.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: What's that, Dana?
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he heard her.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: He heard her.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: He knew exactly.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: And as soon as she said it, he realized he'd said that out loud.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: And he just said to himself, oh, fuck balls.
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: And he goes on.
- 9:12SPEAKER_03: He goes on to say that the Haitians who are there are 20,000 illegal immigrants.
- 9:19SPEAKER_03: But Mike DeWine was on PBS.
- 9:21SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 9:23SPEAKER_03: And he debunked that.
- 9:24SPEAKER_03: He said,
- 9:26SPEAKER_03: if you want to talk about these individuals,
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: these Haitians who are in our cities,
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: our city,
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: look,
- 9:31SPEAKER_03: they're legal.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: They came here because they want work.
- 9:34SPEAKER_03: He went on to say, so those comments are about eating dogs and things.
- 9:40SPEAKER_03: They're very hurtful.
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: They're very hurtful for these men and women who work very, very hard.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: They're obviously very hurtful for their children.
- 9:47SPEAKER_03: The host pointed out that
- 9:50SPEAKER_03: You know, they are very hurtful, but asked him, are they also fueling threats?
- 9:54SPEAKER_03: And DeWine said,
- 9:55SPEAKER_03: well,
- 9:55SPEAKER_03: look,
- 9:56SPEAKER_03: as the mayor said today,
- 9:57SPEAKER_03: he said before this,
- 9:59SPEAKER_03: we had Haitians here for three years,
- 10:01SPEAKER_03: four years,
- 10:02SPEAKER_03: and we did not have any of these threats.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: Surprise.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, it's exactly that's exactly because Republicans are doing this.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: or certain Republicans.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Obviously, it's not Mike DeWine.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: And again, he's right.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: They came there because Springfield, among other cities, put out a call.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: They needed workers.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: They had a ton of job openings, and we discussed this last week.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: They had a ton of job openings,
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: and they put out a call,
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: and a whole bunch of immigrants showed up,
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: legal immigrants showed up,
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: and took the jobs that other people didn't want.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: And now Springfield,
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: Ohio has this terrible,
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: terrible problem of a rapidly growing population that's paying taxes,
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: invigorating businesses,
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: and the city's growing.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: It's thriving.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Now,
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: Republicans are complaining that they're whiting,
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: really,
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: that social services and the schools and local health care are overtaxed.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: And that's true.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: That is a true thing.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: But that's not because of immigration, or at least not because of foreign immigration.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: That's because the city's population is experiencing a rapid growth spurt.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: And that will happen literally anywhere that the population explodes,
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: regardless of its immigrants from out of the country or immigrants from other states.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: You, Shannon, have had this happen to where you live.
- 11:52SPEAKER_03: Yes, the Tampa Bay area in Florida has had a, it's swelled massively since the pandemic.
- 12:00SPEAKER_03: We've had an influx of mostly right-leaning,
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: if you look at our voter registration numbers,
- 12:07SPEAKER_03: mostly right-leaning voters.
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: migrants from other states migrants is just in people just people who are moving
- 12:15SPEAKER_03: here i would love to deport all of the republicans who have moved to florida that
- 12:21SPEAKER_03: take me you know that have caused me to take 20 minutes 30 minutes to get to my
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: son's school two miles away who clog our
- 12:32SPEAKER_03: grocery store parking lots up and who make it difficult for me to get to the beach
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: on a Sunday not that I really want to go hang out at the beach anyways because I'm
- 12:41SPEAKER_03: super super white and I burn very easily but no I have noticed that you you are you
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: are the definition of lily white
- 12:50SPEAKER_03: But the reality is that we are paying a lot more for services.
- 12:54SPEAKER_03: We're having sewage spills.
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: As I mentioned last week, Sarasota flooded very, very heavily during our last tropical storm.
- 13:04SPEAKER_03: A lot of people believe that it was because of all of the development.
- 13:08SPEAKER_03: We no longer really have floodplains.
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: We just have concrete.
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: So it is a problem.
- 13:15SPEAKER_03: I can understand the frustration.
- 13:19SPEAKER_03: of local residents in Springfield being frustrated that things are taking longer or
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: maybe it's harder to make a doctor's appointment.
- 13:28SPEAKER_03: But that's just going to happen when your city grows.
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: Our economy across the country,
- 13:34SPEAKER_03: despite what Republicans are saying,
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: is much better than it was four years ago because a million of us aren't dying.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: But also specifically, Springfield is in the Rust Belt, right?
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: These are the areas that Republicans have been screaming about for decades that
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: they've been forgotten and Democrats have abandoned them.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: And why don't Democrats do anything?
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: Of course, when they're in charge, they don't actually do anything either.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: But then Democrats did start doing something, right?
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: I mean, not Springfield.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: I don't know if Springfield is specifically having to do with any of the stuff that
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: Biden has done,
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: but Biden has invested.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: Billions of dollars in manufacturing.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: And he did a lot of it in those abandoned areas that used to have a lot of manufacturing.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: And then it got shipped overseas.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: And he made sure that a lot of this money got put into those areas.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: It wasn't just, oh, we'll do manufacturing on the coast.
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: It's like, no, no, no, no.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: It doesn't need to be there.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: You spread this out throughout the rest of the country where a lot of these auto manufacturing,
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: a lot of the steel manufacturing,
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: they're not being done there anymore.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Put factories there.
- 14:56SPEAKER_03: They did the microchip factories there.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: And those are all high paying jobs.
- 15:02SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 15:02SPEAKER_03: And he invested heavily in infrastructure because unlike Donald Trump,
- 15:05SPEAKER_03: who had infrastructure week every year of his presidency,
- 15:08SPEAKER_03: but never got an infrastructure bill passed.
- 15:10SPEAKER_03: Every two weeks.
- 15:11SPEAKER_03: Joe Biden actually got it done.
- 15:14SPEAKER_03: So you can see the roads being built, the bridges being repaired.
- 15:19SPEAKER_03: Here, where I live, I complain about the traffic.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: We actually have two new interstate bridges going up on either side of our interstate,
- 15:30SPEAKER_03: on I-75,
- 15:30SPEAKER_03: so that it makes it easier for people entering and exiting because it's caused a really,
- 15:35SPEAKER_03: really big problem for people
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: for morning commuters because there's so many people trying to get on the
- 15:41SPEAKER_03: interstate that it's clogging up the side streets.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: So like Joe Biden has invested heavily in Americans.
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: unlike republicans who could never quite get it done i mean they could get tax cuts
- 15:53SPEAKER_03: done right of course get tax cuts for the wealthy done but god forbid they actually
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: pass an infrastructure bill they say that they're going to create a health care
- 16:02SPEAKER_03: bill but you know he just has concepts of a plan 10 years later they said that they
- 16:08SPEAKER_03: were going to pass immigration reform but all they did was uh
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: Sorry, guys.
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: ADHD.
- 16:16SPEAKER_03: My mind went blank as I was speaking.
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: It happens.
- 16:20SPEAKER_03: Anyways,
- 16:20SPEAKER_03: they said they were going to pass an immigration bill and all they did was limit
- 16:23SPEAKER_03: legal immigration.
- 16:26SPEAKER_03: They make these big promises.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: And they broke the immigration system that was already there.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: They made it harder.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: They made it harder.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: They broke the entire system and made it harder to process.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: Donald Trump actually passed a policy to...
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: to make it harder for migrants who were taking or green card holders who were
- 16:47SPEAKER_03: taking the citizenship test.
- 16:48SPEAKER_03: He made the citizenship test harder when Americans can't even pass the citizenship test.
- 16:55SPEAKER_03: Don't believe me.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: I've seen some of those.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: It's like, okay, this is some tough stuff.
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: Ask your friends how many senators we have in this country and then take a drink because you'll need one.
- 17:08SPEAKER_03: But, you know, no, they break things and then they're broken and they they whine and go, they're broken.
- 17:14SPEAKER_03: I got to fix it.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: And then Democrats come along.
- 17:18SPEAKER_03: We fix it.
- 17:19SPEAKER_03: And then Republicans are like, they're not fixing it fast enough.
- 17:23SPEAKER_03: That is their game.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: And it always has been.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, speaking of not knowing how many people are in the Senate, we're going to get to her.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: But Jill Stein was asked how many members of the House of Representatives there are, and she had no idea.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: 435, right?
- 17:42415.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: What?
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: Is it 435?
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: She said 600.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, sorry.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: It is 435.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: I was going to slap myself if I got that wrong.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she said 600.
- 17:59SPEAKER_03: What?
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: She had no idea at all.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: Oh, that is sad.
- 18:05SPEAKER_03: That is so sad.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: It's like, you're running for president, lady.
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: I would give people a little bit more credit about like,
- 18:12SPEAKER_03: or a little bit more leeway about the members of the House,
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: though it never changes.
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: We never, we always have the same number of Congress people in the House.
- 18:21SPEAKER_03: But, you know, the distribution across the states change.
- 18:27SPEAKER_03: super sad that she doesn't know that she's run for president what like 60 times now
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: yeah it was we're definitely gonna get to her but all right for that one all right
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: we're gonna move on um to to our next story uh which would be another another crazy
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: person tried to kill donald trump um
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: Well, did he actually try to kill him?
- 18:49SPEAKER_03: Because I am not getting... I was away this weekend for my cousin's baptism.
- 18:54SPEAKER_03: My cousin's daughter's baptism.
- 18:56SPEAKER_03: So I got an alert on my phone and I haven't really...
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: taking a deep dive into what happened.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: From what I understand, he was just kind of there with his guns, right?
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: Did he take a shot?
- 19:07SPEAKER_03: No.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: He was lurking around the golf course for like 12 hours.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: And once Trump was there, that's when he tried to get in.
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: Wasn't he not scheduled to be there this weekend?
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: No.
- 19:26SPEAKER_03: Wasn't Trump not scheduled to be...
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: I'm not...
- 19:28SPEAKER_03: I don't know all of the facts,
- 19:29SPEAKER_03: but I think that Trump was not scheduled to be there this weekend.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: I mean... And it wasn't on his schedule.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: It was... I don't know.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: I feel like it's a really big coincidence that he was just hanging around and then
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: when Trump was there,
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: that's when he tried to get in.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Also...
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: If you hang around for 12 hours and you only try to get in when the person with
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: Donald Trump is there...
- 19:52SPEAKER_03: He might have been trying to kill him.
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: But I will say that Florida...
- 19:55SPEAKER_03: you know, I had to laugh about this.
- 19:57SPEAKER_03: They were like a guy with a gun.
- 19:58SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, well, isn't that what they wanted?
- 20:00SPEAKER_03: Cause they just passed constitutional carry here.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: And that was a funny thing.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: I've seen that a couple of times.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: It's like, what law was he breaking?
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 20:07SPEAKER_03: I think that it was because he was on private property with the gun.
- 20:11SPEAKER_03: So like once you're on somebody else's property with the weapon,
- 20:15SPEAKER_03: the game changes.
- 20:17SPEAKER_03: And we don't have an open carry, so technically he can't walk around just with his rifle.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: Wait, really?
- 20:22SPEAKER_03: Florida doesn't have open carry?
- 20:24SPEAKER_03: No, we don't have open carry.
- 20:25SPEAKER_03: I don't think so.
- 20:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because you don't ever see anybody walking around here with their guns on their backs or anything.
- 20:32SPEAKER_03: But we do have constitutional carry,
- 20:34SPEAKER_03: so everybody can get a gun and nobody has to tell the police that they have one.
- 20:39SPEAKER_03: It makes me feel safer, honestly.
- 20:41SPEAKER_03: I'm like, oh, let me go to the grocery store.
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: And guess who has weapons here?
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah,
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: he was wearing...
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: But he was wearing...
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: He was wearing a backpack with a ceramic plate in it,
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: which is like a form of bulletproof armor.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we have some of those in my house.
- 20:58SPEAKER_03: Conservative brother, you know?
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: So, but yeah, he was... It was a little obvious he was trying to get in there.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Again, the timing...
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: It's like,
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: not that I trust Trump and I have a feeling,
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: yeah,
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: a lot of stuff around him is bullshit and stage.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Like, honestly, the whole thing with his ear.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: I still don't believe that for in a heartbeat.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: But this one, it's like he was hanging around for that long.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: And that's when he decided to go in.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: Chances are he was looking for Trump.
- 21:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was just unclear as to whether he had taken a shot because he definitely never got a shot off.
- 21:32SPEAKER_03: Trump said I was almost assassinated.
- 21:34SPEAKER_03: But I was like, oh, my gosh, was he shot again?
- 21:38SPEAKER_03: No.
- 21:39SPEAKER_03: So he wasn't almost assassinated.
- 21:43SPEAKER_03: Can we just say he was not almost assassinated?
- 21:46SPEAKER_03: They just caught a guy with a gun.
- 21:47SPEAKER_03: Do you know how many times that happened during Obama's administration?
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: I know, right?
- 21:53SPEAKER_03: People literally remember the guy who jumped over the fence and ran inside of the
- 21:58SPEAKER_03: White House while Obama was president?
- 22:01SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: He was not almost killed, guys.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the press made sure to repeat a whole bunch of times that shots were fired near Trump.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: And it's like, okay, first, he was hundreds of yards away.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: Second, that was Secret Service shooting at the guy who dropped his gun and ran away.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what confused me.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: But that was the point, right?
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: That was why they did it.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: That's exactly why they did it.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: And the press, I mean, you know this job, right?
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: You've been writing for years.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: You know.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: If it bleeds, it leads.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: But it's not just that.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: You know how to mislead with a headline if you want.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, of course.
- 22:41SPEAKER_03: I mean.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: And they did that on purpose.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: They wanted to make it sound like someone had shot at Trump again.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: So people would be like, oh my God, Trump almost got assassinated again.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: It's like, but that wasn't true at all.
- 22:52SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 22:53SPEAKER_03: It's really the worst part of the media, to be honest with you.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: It's why I always say that I think that the media has destroyed America.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: So quick aside, Trump was out there playing golf again.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: And the only thing about that is that Trump is still only doing one or two rallies a week.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: and he's spending the rest of his time golfing,
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: or occasionally he calls in for an interview,
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: and that's it,
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: right?
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: A rant.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: Not an interview, a rant.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: That's true.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: But he's not campaigning like he's supposed to.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Now...
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know about you.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're younger than me.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: You're like, how old are you?
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Are you 40 yet?
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: I'm not 40 yet.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: So you're a baby.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: So I'm old enough to remember the press losing its fucking mind when Joe Biden
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: didn't spend every waking moment on the campaign trail in 2020.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: And that was at the height of COVID.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: They would not stop.
- 23:58SPEAKER_03: Oh, they called him the basement, the basement, the basement dweller.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: They wouldn't stop bitching about that constantly.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: And it was like, you do know there's COVID and he doesn't want to get sick and die because he's old.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: They wouldn't stop whining about that.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: But now they barely talk about the fact that Trump is doing one at most two rallies a week.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: That's all he's doing?
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: Crazy.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: And it's been like that since July, right?
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: And there were suggestions that,
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: oh,
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: he's kind of freaked out about that he almost got assassinated.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: But he was doing that before that.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: He was only doing one, maybe two rallies a week.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: He took off for like a week and a half.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: Like, he just didn't rally for like a week and a half because, eh, why bother?
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: Eh, he didn't want to.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: He didn't feel like it.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: And I've talked about this before.
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: He's either, it's because it's expensive, right?
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: You have to put rallies together, cost money, and he doesn't want to spend the money.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: Or, you know, he's tired because, well, it's hard standing up there for two, three hours and ranting.
- 25:17SPEAKER_03: About faucets and candidates that are being turned on and off.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly, because he sounds like a crazy person.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: But, I mean, that's why he goes up there and he just rants and raves and babbles and blah, blah, blah.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: But that's hard to do for hours on end, day after day after day.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: It used to be easy.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: It's not so easy anymore.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: And it's not nearly as much fun because people are bored.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: And as much as he complains that, no, they're not leaving my rallies, they fucking are.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: And he sees it, which means it's not as much fun for him.
- 25:48SPEAKER_03: The 34 felonies are weighing him down.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: And he's losing, right?
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: It's not as much fun when you're losing to go out there and still do rallies.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: And on top of all that, you know, he knows that they're going to try and steal the election anyway.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: So do you really have to try that hard to win if you know,
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: well,
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: if I lose,
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: we're just going to have the Supreme Court overturn it anyway?
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: Do I really have to try that hard?
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: whatever.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: So,
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: but the press barely talks about this,
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: which I find to be absolutely amazing that it was the biggest of big deals before.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: Now it's just like,
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: they spend more time complaining about Kamala Harris,
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: not having interviews.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: It's like, what about Trump's rallies?
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: It was like the biggest, it was like, Oh, his rallies are huge.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: And it was,
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: it was very important that his rally sizes were much bigger than Hillary Clinton's
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: and Joe Biden's.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: And now where's his rallies.
- 26:45SPEAKER_03: Obama at the DNC when he made fun of the rally size.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 26:50SPEAKER_03: It was so funny.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: Very tiny.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: This is the funniest part of the...
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: For those of you who did not see it,
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: Obama held up his hands to indicate that Trump had a small dick.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: Little mushroom.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: But, yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, whatever.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: We're going to move on from Trump's new attempted assassination.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: The fact that they're trying to blame the left for it.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: Actually, we need to talk about that.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: The fact that they're trying to blame the left for it is just a way for them to try
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: to silence criticism of Donald Trump and J.D.
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: Vance because the criticisms are working.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: So they would really like us to shut the hell up.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:34SPEAKER_03: He's not even a Democrat, that guy.
- 27:36SPEAKER_03: He was registered as a Democrat like 22 years ago.
- 27:39SPEAKER_03: And then, you know, he changed his party affiliation 22 years ago.
- 27:44SPEAKER_03: So it's very clearly he doesn't like us.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, in 20, what was it?
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: In 2016, he voted for Trump.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: In 2020, he wanted Biden to win.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: In 2024, he was a Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy supporter.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: So it's like,
- 28:00SPEAKER_03: Right, and at some point he was also a Bernie Sanders supporter.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: So we're talking about a Bernie bro.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: Right, this guy's all over the map.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: He's all over the place.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: And it's like, yeah, you can try to blame us, but no.
- 28:16SPEAKER_03: And the actual shooter also didn't have a cohesive political...
- 28:28SPEAKER_03: belief system it seems that this guy the only thing this guy really cares about is
- 28:31SPEAKER_03: the Ukraine war which you know all of us care about that so well one way or the
- 28:37SPEAKER_03: other yes exactly
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: So, you know, Republicans trying to blame the left.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: It's like,
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: OK,
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: we'll stop talking about you when you stop trying to get us killed by calling us,
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: baby killers and pedophiles and et cetera,
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: et cetera,
- 28:52SPEAKER_01: et cetera.
- 28:52SPEAKER_01: Because, you know, they've been doing that kind of thing for decades and up abortion clinics.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: It's like so when you stop producing domestic terrorists,
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: we'll stop pointing out that you're a fascist until then.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: Shut the fuck up.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: I don't really care.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: period yeah so but um speaking of fascists um donald trump has a laura loomer
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: problem i love her name i know right whatever it sounds you know what it sounds
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: like it sounds like a cheesy villain from a comic book it does it really does but
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: as far as i know it is her actual real name
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: Laura Loomer is a lunatic who's really, really committed to the bit.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: She's she commit to the bit.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: She is a Jew who panders to Nazis because that's where the money is.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: And that's where the influence is.
- 29:47SPEAKER_03: I did not know that she was a Jew.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, she definitely Jew.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: She's definitely Jewish.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: She's one of she's one of my peoples.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: And she's like Stephen Miller.
- 29:58SPEAKER_03: I hate Stephen Miller.
- 29:59SPEAKER_03: Let's not even, if we, if we even mention him, I'm going to explode.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: Peewee German.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: I hate Stephen.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: Even Stephen Miller's family doesn't like Stephen Miller.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: I can't imagine why.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: So who is Laura Loomer?
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: Laura Loomer.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: She's, she has been around for the last, I don't know, decade and a half.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: But she's really kind of coming to her own in the last since Trump popped up.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, so this is from the New York Times.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: Laura Elizabeth Loomer,
- 30:39SPEAKER_01: I guess that is her real name,
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: was still a senior at Barry University near Miami when she made an undercover video
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: secretly filming university officials discussing her proposal to create a club for
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: students who support the Islamic State or ISIS.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: The footage was picked up by Project Veritas,
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: the conservative group that the right-wing provocateur,
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: which I just mispronounced,
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: James O'Keefe founded to conduct sting operations.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: It made news, and she worked with O'Keefe at Project Veritas for several years.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: Now, she was trying to get this club started.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: This was in her senior year.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: And the staff said, yeah, we're not doing that.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: And no one tried to join this club that she was trying to make up.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: And she was such an asshole about it.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: She got suspended.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: She got kicked out of college in her senior year.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: I don't know that she ever actually finished graduating from anywheres.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: So that worked out really well.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: And then it just went downhill from there.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: Then she just realized,
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: well,
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: if I just keep doing crazy outrageous things,
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: people will pay attention to me and I can make money doing this.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: She just spews the worst kind of racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: She loves talking about herself as a proud Islamophobe.
- 32:05SPEAKER_03: I think that's how I know her is that she was one of those,
- 32:10SPEAKER_03: those people who were like really hating on Muslims over the last decade.
- 32:16SPEAKER_03: And I think that's why I started to know who she was.
- 32:18SPEAKER_03: Her and that Arizona, there was like an Arizona lady.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: And she doesn't do it from she doesn't do it from the aspect of like, you know, I'm Jewish.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: I don't like Muslims.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: You know, she does.
- 32:28SPEAKER_03: She does it as like,
- 32:31SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 32:32SPEAKER_03: like the people after September 11th who just hated every person who looked like a Muslim.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: She definitely downplays the fact that she's Jewish because,
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: that doesn't always play well with her right wing audience.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: With the Jews will not replace us crowd.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: But so she's just made a she's made a career of being a hate monger.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: And now she is very much.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: She's been trying to get into Trump's orbit for quite some time.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: Trump tried to hire her earlier this year.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: It was either early this year or last year.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: I think it was this year.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: It was very early in the year.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: He tried to put her on his campaign, and his staff said, absolutely fucking not.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: You cannot have her on the staff.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: She'll be a distraction.
- 33:21SPEAKER_01: She'll be really, really bad for the campaign.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: You can't have someone like this.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: She's too extreme.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: And Trump said, OK, fine.
- 33:30SPEAKER_03: And understand how significant that is,
- 33:33SPEAKER_03: because Trump this time around is like Trump without the guardrails.
- 33:38SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 33:39SPEAKER_03: Everybody has discussed how how much worse he is this time around.
- 33:44SPEAKER_03: So his campaign stuff, because from what I understand, his campaign stuff is pretty professional.
- 33:48SPEAKER_03: The ones that are in charge and they're running a tighter campaign than before.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: However, they were.
- 33:54SPEAKER_03: However, they were.
- 33:55SPEAKER_03: But everybody underneath like are still nutty and worse than before, in my opinion.
- 34:03SPEAKER_03: So for the campaign to be like, no, not her.
- 34:06SPEAKER_03: She has to be really crazy.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: So now that he's losing,
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: right,
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: he's losing the election,
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: he's doing really,
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: really badly,
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: and he's reaching out to people who will tell him what he wants.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: Because this is the thing with Trump.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: He only wants to hear what he wants to hear.
- 34:28SPEAKER_03: The echo chamber, Trump.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: yeah he only wants an echo chamber and he wants people who will flatter him who
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: will tell him that he's you know the the best and the strongest and the smartest
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: and oh my god your penis is the biggest and blah blah blah that's what he wants to
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: hear come on i'm still drinking my morning coffee
- 34:49SPEAKER_01: But,
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: and Laura Loomer is,
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: has been,
- 34:53SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 34:53SPEAKER_01: screaming that he's like,
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: oh my God,
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: he's practically a God on earth.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: I would die for Trump.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: I would die for him.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: I would do anything for him.
- 35:01SPEAKER_03: And there's a lot of speculation that they're having an affair.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't, I wouldn't doubt it for a second.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm sure he's got a never ending supply of Viagra.
- 35:10SPEAKER_03: So Justin, you got to stop.
- 35:14I ain't over here.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: But, you know, the videos of them together, you know, they're very handsy with each other.
- 35:25SPEAKER_01: You know, he's got his hand very low on her back and Melania is not there.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:30SPEAKER_03: Where is Melania?
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: She's off busy.
- 35:36SPEAKER_03: Not being there.
- 35:37SPEAKER_03: I haven't seen much of her.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, you know, she don't want to be around.
- 35:44SPEAKER_01: She's busy.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: And, you know, Trump's off with his new girlfriend, which, you know, I mean, imagine.
- 35:53SPEAKER_01: Imagine if Kamala Harris was running around with somebody,
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 35:59SPEAKER_01: half her age while her husband was just missing in action.
- 36:05SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 36:05SPEAKER_03: And had her hand on the small of his back and was photographed smiling and giggling with him.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: It would be like the biggest scandal.
- 36:14SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 36:15SPEAKER_03: And the Republican Party is already flying flags that say Joe and the hoe have got to go.
- 36:21SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: There's actually a cop who lives by me.
- 36:24SPEAKER_03: Sorry to cut you off there.
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: There's actually a cop who lives by me that has he parks his cop car in the front
- 36:30SPEAKER_03: yard and he has a Joe and the hoe have got to go flag.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's got to inspire confidence.
- 36:37SPEAKER_03: I said, I am sure that he is very nice to the minorities and women that he pulls over.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: I'm sure.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: Definitely feel safe with that guy pulling out near me.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: But, you know, so you've got Loomer now who is definitely doing like a Lady Macbeth in Trump's year.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: She's pushing him to be even crazier because, you know, that's their whole thing.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: And for her, this is a win win.
- 37:10SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter if Trump wins or not.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: Now.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: If Trump wins, that's great.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: Now she gets the keys to the White House.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: She gets to be maybe press secretary, but she'll have a job in the administration.
- 37:24SPEAKER_03: Could you imagine Laura Loomer being press secretary?
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, it would be a nightmare, right?
- 37:30SPEAKER_03: Oh, it would be so good.
- 37:31SPEAKER_03: I would watch every single one.
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, my God.
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: It would be a clown show, right?
- 37:38SPEAKER_01: Because she doesn't really know what the hell she's doing.
- 37:40SPEAKER_03: The SNL skits would be incredible.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it would be something else.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: But, you know, so if Trump wins, that gives her great access to power.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: But if he loses, well, so what, right?
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: She has the biggest platform right now.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: She's on the right arm of Donald Trump, and she is just raking in a massive audience.
- 38:13SPEAKER_01: And when this is over, if Trump loses, well, they're going to be a black woman in the White House.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: And Loomer now has a huge profile to go out there and spew racism.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: And there's going to be hundreds and hundreds of thousands,
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: if not millions of angry white people looking for someone to tell them that it's
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: not their fault.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: Their lives are awful and terrible and they're miserable and who to blame.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: And she'll be able to use that.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: And she's going to make money hand over fist.
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: And so she doesn't care, right?
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: It's actually terrifying to think about, to be honest with you.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: But that's one of the reasons that other Republicans don't want her there because
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: she is only going to feed Trump's worst instincts and she doesn't care if he wins
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: or not.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: It's just what's good for her, which is kind of like a Republican thing now.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: What's good for me, not what's good for the GOP?
- 39:16SPEAKER_01: How does this benefit me personally?
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: I don't care what really happens to the party.
- 39:20SPEAKER_03: Oh, that sounds like a good shirt.
- 39:24SPEAKER_03: What's good for me, not the GOP?
- 39:26SPEAKER_03: It reminds me of your one back in the day that the Republican Party motto was, I've got mine, screw you.
- 39:33SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's really what it is.
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: But I mean,
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: now they've internalized that to the point where they won't even put party over
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: their own personal immediate ambition.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: I know, it's crazy.
- 39:44SPEAKER_01: That is the one,
- 39:45SPEAKER_01: I mean,
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: of all the things,
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: like,
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: when they say,
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: oh,
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: Trump's done this,
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: Trump's done that,
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: Trump didn't change the Republican party or the Republican base,
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: but he did change that one thing.
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: He made it so they will just burn the party to the ground.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: In order to benefit themselves.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: It's not just them trying to burn the government to the ground anymore.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: They're really just eating their own, too.
- 40:09SPEAKER_03: I mean, look at what happened with Liz Cheney.
- 40:12SPEAKER_03: Liz Cheney, the daughter of Dick Cheney, the Republican god for how many years?
- 40:18SPEAKER_03: The guy who was like, let's go kill those Muslims.
- 40:23SPEAKER_03: And, you know, started the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- 40:27SPEAKER_03: It's crazy when you think about, you know, how far they've come in the last 20 years.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: Now,
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: the upside of all that is that them setting the party on fire like that means that
- 40:43SPEAKER_01: they have no future,
- 40:45SPEAKER_01: right?
- 40:45SPEAKER_01: If the entire party is out for itself instead of advancing the Republican agenda,
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: well,
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: that's not a tenable situation.
- 40:55SPEAKER_01: They will eventually just consume themselves and there won't be anything left.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: So this is not helping Trump.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: And
- 41:04SPEAKER_01: Having someone that extreme become the face of the campaign,
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: voting starting either now or in a week or so in some states,
- 41:15SPEAKER_01: and she's going to say really outrageous,
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: gross,
- 41:19SPEAKER_01: disgusting things because that's what she does.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: And having her be the face of the campaign going forward is going to be catastrophic for them.
- 41:30SPEAKER_03: I have so much anxiety thinking about the possibility of Trump winning in November
- 41:36SPEAKER_03: and these people being in the white house.
- 41:40SPEAKER_03: So much anxiety about Steven Miller and Laura Loomer guiding our country.
- 41:45SPEAKER_03: I mean, we really need everybody to get out and vote.
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: Everybody needs to talk to their, their friends.
- 41:53SPEAKER_03: It is no joke.
- 41:55SPEAKER_03: Talk to your friends, talk to your adult children, please.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: And make sure you,
- 42:00SPEAKER_03: and make sure to register because I believe that registration in many States is
- 42:04SPEAKER_03: closing soon.
- 42:06SPEAKER_03: And if you live in Pennsylvania,
- 42:07SPEAKER_03: please go talk to every Pennsylvania,
- 42:10SPEAKER_03: Michigan,
- 42:10SPEAKER_03: Wisconsin,
- 42:11SPEAKER_03: Arizona,
- 42:12SPEAKER_03: Nevada,
- 42:13SPEAKER_03: Georgia,
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: and definitely check your registration.
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: Anywhere is where there's a Republican in charge.
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: Make sure you double check your registration because those fuckers will cheat.
- 42:22SPEAKER_03: Yes, they will.
- 42:23SPEAKER_03: They'll kick you.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: In 2016, I brought my friend to vote and she'd been kicked off the ballot.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: By accident, I'm sure.
- 42:32SPEAKER_03: Not kicked off the ballot, kicked off the voter rolls.
- 42:35SPEAKER_03: I'm still convinced that despite what they've said,
- 42:38SPEAKER_03: that Russian hackers actually did make changes in the voter registration systems.
- 42:43SPEAKER_03: But that's my own conspiracy theory.
- 42:45SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure they're trying it again right now.
- 42:48SPEAKER_03: I'm sure.
- 42:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 42:51SPEAKER_01: Let's move on.
- 42:52SPEAKER_01: We are now entering the second month of the public knowing that Politico,
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: the Washington Post,
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: and the New York Times has stolen emails from the Trump campaign.
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: I'm going to bitch about this probably for the rest of my life,
- 43:07SPEAKER_01: pretty much the same way that I still bitch about but her emails.
- 43:11SPEAKER_01: Because...
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: They're un-fucking-believable.
- 43:15SPEAKER_01: Now, you were not super familiar with this, right?
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: Because you hadn't really heard a whole lot about this.
- 43:21SPEAKER_01: Because they're not writing about it.
- 43:23SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 43:26SPEAKER_03: I knew that Roger Stone's emails were hacked, too.
- 43:30SPEAKER_03: And I thought to myself, wow, those are going to be good.
- 43:33SPEAKER_03: And then I heard nothing else.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: And that was the point.
- 43:38SPEAKER_01: That's that's why they did it.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: Now, they got these emails in July before the Republican National Convention.
- 43:46SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, the idea like apparently this was done by Iran.
- 43:50SPEAKER_01: But the idea was to release them pretty much the same way dated to in 2016 before
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: the Democratic National Convention.
- 43:59SPEAKER_01: But the Politico, Washington Post, New York Times said nothing.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: They didn't even release that they had them.
- 44:08SPEAKER_01: They just hid the information and they would have kept hiding it until the Trump
- 44:13SPEAKER_01: campaign announced that they'd been hacked.
- 44:16SPEAKER_01: And then they admitted that they had those emails, which is un-fucking-believable.
- 44:24SPEAKER_03: Infuriating.
- 44:26SPEAKER_03: It's infuriating.
- 44:28SPEAKER_03: I remember during 2016, some of these news organizations had like running like live like tickers.
- 44:38SPEAKER_03: And every single time a new email was read, they would put it up with a giant headline like, you know.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:45SPEAKER_01: Political was one of the ones that had that.
- 44:48SPEAKER_03: Podesta makes the best risotto.
- 44:50SPEAKER_03: Like, stupid, stupid shit.
- 44:52SPEAKER_03: Like, Podesta was the risotto king.
- 44:57SPEAKER_03: I mean, stuff that didn't even matter.
- 44:59SPEAKER_03: They just had a running ticker.
- 45:00SPEAKER_03: And isn't that the same time when,
- 45:02SPEAKER_03: like,
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: the Pizzagate started because of those emails and then somebody went into that
- 45:07SPEAKER_03: pizza shop with a gun and
- 45:09SPEAKER_03: and threaten the lives of people who were in there.
- 45:11SPEAKER_03: I mean, this is what the media did in 2016.
- 45:14SPEAKER_03: We can say all we want to, like, oh, they've gotten better.
- 45:18SPEAKER_03: But I'm going to say it's not fair.
- 45:20SPEAKER_03: They consistently fail.
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: They consistently fail to hold Republicans accountable.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: Consistently.
- 45:31SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, okay, so let's say that they got better, right?
- 45:37SPEAKER_01: Wouldn't that mean they would have to admit that they made a mistake in 2016?
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: It's like, you know what?
- 45:43SPEAKER_01: What we did was wrong, so we're not going to make that mistake again.
- 45:47SPEAKER_01: But they won't say that.
- 45:50SPEAKER_03: No, they'll die on the Hillary's emails were terrible.
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: So if they're not willing to admit that they made a mistake.
- 45:58SPEAKER_01: Well, then why won't they release it now?
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: And their excuses are contradictory, right?
- 46:05SPEAKER_01: They're saying they got it from a tainted source, but they knew that that was the case in 2016.
- 46:09SPEAKER_01: They knew it was a tainted source.
- 46:12SPEAKER_01: They knew WikiLeaks was a cutout for Russia, and they still did it because they didn't care.
- 46:17SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 46:18SPEAKER_01: And now they're saying, oh, well, you know, well, we learned that we learned our lesson.
- 46:21SPEAKER_01: We're not going to do that.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: Blah, blah, blah.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: Ethical guideline.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: OK, but then that means you made a mistake in 2016.
- 46:27SPEAKER_01: Why aren't you saying that?
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: Because they don't believe they did make a mistake because the goal was to fuck Hillary.
- 46:34SPEAKER_01: And now right now their goal is to help Trump.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: That's the real thing that's going on here.
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: And.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: The fact that they're not saying anything about these emails, right?
- 46:48SPEAKER_01: And I will die on this hill.
- 46:53SPEAKER_01: Those emails are absolutely toxic.
- 46:56SPEAKER_01: I will bet my soul on it.
- 46:59SPEAKER_01: Those emails must be toxic to the point... Justin, you have to have a soul to bet it.
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: That's true.
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: I am an atheist.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: I have no soul.
- 47:07SPEAKER_01: But...
- 47:09SPEAKER_01: those have to be toxic to the point where they would end even Donald Trump's campaign.
- 47:14SPEAKER_01: That's how toxic they must be.
- 47:17SPEAKER_01: Because if they weren't,
- 47:19SPEAKER_01: if they were,
- 47:20SPEAKER_01: again,
- 47:20SPEAKER_01: risotto recipes,
- 47:22SPEAKER_01: if they were just,
- 47:23SPEAKER_01: hey,
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: boring,
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: normal campaign stuff,
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: doing normal,
- 47:27SPEAKER_01: like,
- 47:27SPEAKER_01: oh man,
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: I don't like Joe Biden.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: If it was stuff like that, like Joe Biden's an asshole, whatever, fuck him.
- 47:35SPEAKER_01: If it was just stuff like that, people would be like,
- 47:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, you know, they don't like Joe Biden.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: What did you think they were going to say?
- 47:42SPEAKER_01: But that's not what it is.
- 47:45SPEAKER_01: It must be unbelievably toxic.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: Now, we know how Nazis talk to each other.
- 47:52SPEAKER_01: We know how these people talk to each other in private.
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: When they're in public, we see how they talk to each other.
- 47:59SPEAKER_01: Can you imagine what their emails must be like when they don't think anybody else
- 48:06SPEAKER_01: is going to see them ever?
- 48:09SPEAKER_01: It must be unbelievable how ugly.
- 48:13SPEAKER_03: No, it has to be.
- 48:15SPEAKER_03: It has to be so bad.
- 48:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it has to be so bad that the media believes that it will change the outcome of the election.
- 48:24SPEAKER_03: And that's why they're blaming it on Iran.
- 48:26SPEAKER_03: That's why they're saying, oh, well, we can't release them because it's election interference.
- 48:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 48:32SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure I'm sure like,
- 48:33SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: a couple of months after the election's over and sometime in January,
- 48:37SPEAKER_01: February,
- 48:38SPEAKER_01: they'll start releasing those emails.
- 48:40SPEAKER_01: And of course, at that point, who cares?
- 48:42SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 48:43SPEAKER_01: It'll be too late and it won't make a difference anymore.
- 48:45SPEAKER_01: And they'll say, see, journalistic integrity.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: It's like, no, fuck you.
- 48:50SPEAKER_01: That's there's no integrity there.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: None whatsoever.
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: You didn't release them.
- 48:54SPEAKER_01: You didn't release them.
- 48:55SPEAKER_01: They could have done something.
- 48:57SPEAKER_01: So fuck you.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: but all right i just can't even with that they're they're it's disgusting and they
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: wonder why people don't trust the media anymore like republicans don't trust them
- 49:11SPEAKER_01: because they don't want to hear the news we don't trust them because they're
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: deliberately going out of the way not to deliver the news so you know whatever fuck
- 49:21SPEAKER_03: them well on a on a on a much brighter topic
- 49:26SPEAKER_01: September is NICU Awareness Month.
- 49:30SPEAKER_01: This is a topic that is near and dear to your heart, quite literally.
- 49:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:35SPEAKER_03: Actually, quite literally, my youngest son is a NICU baby.
- 49:39SPEAKER_03: He was in the NICU for about a month after he was born because he was born prematurely.
- 49:43SPEAKER_03: And,
- 49:44SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 49:45SPEAKER_03: I've really been thinking about it this year because Florida has an amendment on
- 49:50SPEAKER_03: their ballot to protect abortion rights,
- 49:52SPEAKER_03: Amendment 4.
- 49:54SPEAKER_03: And it would...
- 49:57SPEAKER_03: Make abortion a right in Florida, they wouldn't be able to change the law.
- 50:05SPEAKER_03: You know, right now, Florida has a six week abortion ban.
- 50:07SPEAKER_03: So this basically gives us back our freedom to have an abortion.
- 50:12SPEAKER_03: The ballot, I'm just going to read it really quick.
- 50:16SPEAKER_03: the ballot or the,
- 50:18SPEAKER_03: yeah,
- 50:19SPEAKER_03: the constitutional amendment says no law shall prohibit penalized delay or restrict
- 50:25SPEAKER_03: abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient's health as
- 50:30SPEAKER_03: determined by the patient's healthcare provider.
- 50:32SPEAKER_03: That's so important because I have said since,
- 50:38SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 50:38SPEAKER_03: since Roe versus Wade was reversed,
- 50:41SPEAKER_03: I've said,
- 50:41SPEAKER_03: Hey,
- 50:43SPEAKER_03: Yes, some of the states have.
- 50:46SPEAKER_03: Republicans love to say Donald Trump is on a whole.
- 50:54SPEAKER_03: He's trying to distance himself from his abortion position, right?
- 51:00SPEAKER_03: While also bragging about getting rid of Roe versus Wade.
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: And the press loves saying he's moderating.
- 51:07SPEAKER_01: It's like, no, the fuck he is not moderating.
- 51:09SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 51:10SPEAKER_03: And one of the things that they give him credit for,
- 51:11SPEAKER_03: they're like,
- 51:12SPEAKER_03: oh,
- 51:12SPEAKER_03: well,
- 51:12SPEAKER_03: he believes in exceptions for the mother's health.
- 51:16SPEAKER_03: Well,
- 51:17SPEAKER_03: we can see in Texas that it does not matter about the mother's health because right
- 51:21SPEAKER_03: now the doctors,
- 51:22SPEAKER_03: the woman's health care provider is not the one making the decision about whether
- 51:26SPEAKER_03: or not to give her an abortion.
- 51:28SPEAKER_03: When I had Nathan, when I gave birth to Nathan, my delivery went very poorly.
- 51:34SPEAKER_03: I remember I was having a C-section.
- 51:36SPEAKER_03: I remember laying there.
- 51:38SPEAKER_03: He was trying to give me a tubal because he said to me, hey, listen, you can't get pregnant again.
- 51:43SPEAKER_03: So he was trying to like tie my tubes, as they say.
- 51:46SPEAKER_03: And he was grunting.
- 51:48SPEAKER_03: And if you have never heard your surgeon grunting before during your surgery,
- 51:53SPEAKER_03: let me just tell you that it is not a welcome.
- 51:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 51:57SPEAKER_01: That's not a sound you want to hear.
- 51:58SPEAKER_01: It's like, Hey, that's not right.
- 52:01SPEAKER_03: I could hear him getting frustrated and I had a spinal, so I could not move.
- 52:07SPEAKER_03: And I literally said to him, just close me up.
- 52:10SPEAKER_03: I'll take birth control.
- 52:12SPEAKER_03: And he continued to go.
- 52:13SPEAKER_03: And I go, no, really close me up.
- 52:15SPEAKER_03: I'll take birth control.
- 52:17SPEAKER_03: And after the surgery, he came into my room and he said to me, he said he was shaking.
- 52:24SPEAKER_03: And my, my,
- 52:26SPEAKER_03: My OB was, he was an OB for 34 years or 24 years.
- 52:35SPEAKER_03: He was seasoned.
- 52:35SPEAKER_03: He was a seasoned OB.
- 52:37SPEAKER_03: He was one of the top OBs at the hospital.
- 52:40SPEAKER_03: He worked in maternal fetal medicine.
- 52:44SPEAKER_03: I had a whole team of doctors on my side from Tampa General Hospital.
- 52:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, my, I had a lot of,
- 52:54SPEAKER_03: of doctors overseeing my care for Nathan because I had preeclampsia.
- 52:58SPEAKER_03: And my doctor walked in and he was shaking.
- 53:00SPEAKER_03: And he said, if you ever get pregnant again, it will be suicide by baby.
- 53:07SPEAKER_03: And I was like, what?
- 53:09SPEAKER_03: He goes, it will be suicide by baby.
- 53:10SPEAKER_03: He goes, in fact, if you ever get pregnant again, do not even come to me.
- 53:14SPEAKER_03: Go straight to Tampa.
- 53:16SPEAKER_03: Because he goes, I will not be able to save you, basically.
- 53:20SPEAKER_01: Damn.
- 53:21SPEAKER_03: So when abortion rights were restricted in Florida, I said...
- 53:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah,
- 53:30SPEAKER_03: there is an exception for the health of the mother,
- 53:31SPEAKER_03: but who makes the decision about whether or not I'm gonna live?
- 53:36SPEAKER_03: It's not gonna be my doctor who's literally said, you will die if you get pregnant again.
- 53:40SPEAKER_03: It's somebody who's gonna go, and we know this is true because it's happened.
- 53:45SPEAKER_03: It's some other doctor or a board of doctors who have been appointed by the Republican governor.
- 53:52SPEAKER_03: In Texas, they have an anti-abortion activist on this board.
- 53:58SPEAKER_03: We're going to go, well, you know, she had a baby before and she was preeclamptic.
- 54:04SPEAKER_03: Surely she'll live this time.
- 54:06SPEAKER_03: And that's happening.
- 54:08SPEAKER_03: So Florida has Amendment 4, which will protect, restore abortion rights in Florida.
- 54:14SPEAKER_03: Super important.
- 54:17SPEAKER_03: Now, sorry, go ahead.
- 54:20SPEAKER_03: No, just it's super, I cannot stress the importance of
- 54:26SPEAKER_03: voting yes on four in Florida.
- 54:28SPEAKER_03: Yes on four.
- 54:30SPEAKER_03: Don't believe the churches that have all those no on four signs.
- 54:34SPEAKER_03: Yes on four, please.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: Now,
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: there's the ProPublica story that came out a couple of days ago that's been getting
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: talked about more frequently.
- 54:43SPEAKER_01: And I guarantee this is not the first woman.
- 54:47SPEAKER_01: There's have to have been more by now.
- 54:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's been over a year.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: Well, she died in 2022, correct?
- 54:52SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 54:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, actually, I don't know the year.
- 54:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she died in 2022, actually.
- 54:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 54:59SPEAKER_01: Well, there you go.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I didn't see the year.
- 55:03SPEAKER_01: So this is Amber Nicole Thurman, right?
- 55:06SPEAKER_01: She had taken an abortion pill.
- 55:09SPEAKER_01: And this is from Paul Publica.
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: and encountered a rare complication.
- 55:13SPEAKER_01: She had not expelled all of the fetal tissue from her body.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: She showed up at Piedmont Henry Hospital in need of a routine procedure to clear it
- 55:20SPEAKER_01: from her uterus called a dilation and cureterage,
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: or a DNC.
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: But that summer, her estate had made performing the procedure a felony with few exceptions.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: So they sat there and they watched her slowly die.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: And eventually, when they tried to save her, it was too late.
- 55:40SPEAKER_01: Now,
- 55:41SPEAKER_01: This is not exactly what happened to Debbie.
- 55:47SPEAKER_01: Debbie had a miscarriage and she started to hemorrhage.
- 55:53SPEAKER_03: I remember you told me that.
- 55:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I've written about this.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: I just republished the article.
- 55:57SPEAKER_01: I just reshared the article this morning.
- 55:59SPEAKER_01: She started to hemorrhage, and she was hemorrhaging badly.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: Like, she was bleeding to death.
- 56:05SPEAKER_01: And she needed a DNC.
- 56:08SPEAKER_01: Now, the pregnancy was done, right?
- 56:10SPEAKER_01: It was over.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: But
- 56:14SPEAKER_01: a DNC would have been illegal under Republicans and they just would have sat there
- 56:20SPEAKER_01: and they would have watched until she was at death's door.
- 56:24SPEAKER_01: And then they would have done something.
- 56:26SPEAKER_03: Right, and that's the key.
- 56:28SPEAKER_03: That's the key, is that they're performing DNCs, right?
- 56:32SPEAKER_03: So it's just...
- 56:34SPEAKER_03: That's how they're tricking people into thinking this is that there's no problem here.
- 56:39SPEAKER_03: There's nothing to see here because they will perform the DNC.
- 56:42SPEAKER_03: The problem is the doctors are so I didn't mean to cut you off, by the way, but doctors are so afraid.
- 56:50SPEAKER_03: They're so afraid to perform them early.
- 56:54SPEAKER_03: Like,
- 56:55SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 56:55SPEAKER_03: immediately this woman in Texas who died,
- 56:59SPEAKER_03: if they had just done it right away,
- 57:02SPEAKER_03: she would be fine.
- 57:03SPEAKER_03: But the doctors are so afraid of doing it early and going to jail that they're not doing it at all.
- 57:08SPEAKER_03: And they're waiting until they start to destat and then they're doing it.
- 57:12SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 57:12SPEAKER_01: And that's that was the point of these laws.
- 57:15SPEAKER_01: Because the laws are very vague.
- 57:18SPEAKER_01: And every time Democrats try to, and doctors as well, demand clarification, it's like, we need specifics.
- 57:27SPEAKER_01: We need you to clarify.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: We need details.
- 57:30SPEAKER_01: Republicans refuse because they want them as vague as possible in order to give it
- 57:38SPEAKER_01: the maximum amount of confusion so doctors will not perform these procedures.
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: And that will harm women as much as possible.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: And babies.
- 57:49SPEAKER_01: And babies.
- 57:51SPEAKER_03: You know,
- 57:51SPEAKER_03: studies have already shown that there's an increase in premature babies since this happened,
- 57:56SPEAKER_03: which is why I bring it up during NICU Awareness Month.
- 58:00SPEAKER_03: You know, there's an increase of the number of premature babies being born.
- 58:04SPEAKER_03: So they're not just hurting women, they're hurting babies too.
- 58:08SPEAKER_01: Because they're pro-life.
- 58:10SPEAKER_03: And all kinds of there's all kinds of problems that come with being premature.
- 58:14SPEAKER_03: You know, Nathan is thank God he's alive because he had really good care.
- 58:20SPEAKER_03: His NICU nurses were incredible human beings.
- 58:26SPEAKER_03: But he could have died.
- 58:30SPEAKER_03: He was 34 weeks.
- 58:31SPEAKER_03: A lot of people think he was 34 weeks,
- 58:33SPEAKER_03: but they changed his gestational development to like 32 weeks when he was born.
- 58:37SPEAKER_03: I actually almost gave birth to him when I was 29 weeks pregnant.
- 58:42SPEAKER_03: So he could have my blood pressure.
- 58:45SPEAKER_03: At 29 weeks, my blood pressure was, I think, like 255 over like 117.
- 58:49SPEAKER_03: And those of you who don't understand blood pressure, a normal blood pressure reading is 120 over 80.
- 58:57SPEAKER_03: Mine was so high that my doctor said we might have to deliver the baby today.
- 59:01SPEAKER_03: So, you know, they're hurting babies.
- 59:04SPEAKER_03: And there's all kinds of problems that come with
- 59:08SPEAKER_03: Nathan is incredibly smart, but Nathan has behavioral problems.
- 59:12SPEAKER_03: And I was like, man, does he have any behavioral problems?
- 59:14SPEAKER_03: Because I wasn't able to hold him as much as I wanted to when he was born.
- 59:18SPEAKER_03: Cause you literally, their central nervous systems are so messed up that you can't hold them.
- 59:24SPEAKER_03: There was, you know, he was in an incubator.
- 59:27SPEAKER_03: There's only a certain number of times when I can hold them.
- 59:29SPEAKER_03: I've looked up studies because I thought that it was crazy.
- 59:31SPEAKER_03: I've looked up studies and studies show that premature babies have more behavioral problems later on.
- 59:37SPEAKER_03: So this is not something that is,
- 59:40SPEAKER_03: this is not something that's just killing women and hurting babies in their infancy,
- 59:47SPEAKER_03: but they're growing up and it's hard for them to adjust.
- 59:51SPEAKER_01: He's also a COVID baby, and most COVID babies are just feral to begin with.
- 59:55SPEAKER_03: He's also a COVID baby.
- 59:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, our babies have that working against them.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_03: But in all seriousness, Republicans want you to turn a blind eye.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_03: They're like, well, there's exceptions for rape and the mother's health and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_01: But in practice, there isn't.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_03: In practice, there isn't.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_03: If I got pregnant again in Florida, I would go.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_03: I would try to get an abortion.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_03: They would say no.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_03: I could try to go to the maternal fetal medicine specialist in Tampa, but it is a gamble.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't want to have an abortion.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_03: There's nothing I would want more than another little feral baby.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_01: But you would probably end up having to leave the state to get an abortion.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_03: I would have to leave the state.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_03: I think I would have to go to Virginia.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_03: I think that's the closest one to me.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_01: Yep, thank God we have a Democratic Senate and House.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_03: But, you know, it is... It's terrifying.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_03: I'm afraid all the time.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_03: I didn't... I have 14 years between my kids.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_03: And I have endometriosis.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_03: So getting pregnant the second time was... You know, you were friends with me.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_03: It was a surprise.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_03: We were surprised.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_01: Just a little bit of a whoopsie there.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_01: It's like, really?
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_01: What?
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_01: What?
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_01: How?
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_03: Well, we just, you know, 14 years in between them, I was like, maybe I can't have any more kids.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: But, you know, I've done everything that I can to protect myself since Nathan's birth.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_03: But things happen.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_03: And I could get pregnant again, and Florida would not allow me to have an abortion.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_03: Because they would be like, ah, she's done it once.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_01: And if you died, they'd be like, well, it was God's will.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_03: yes yes it's just it's it's really scary it's very scary to think about and i think
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_03: that everybody probably knows somebody who who is like me or or you know they're in
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_03: the outer part of their circle so please vote yes on amendment four if you live in
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_01: florida yes for four
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_01: All right,
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_01: we're gonna wrap today up with something very enjoyable,
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_01: little lighthearted amusement for us.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_01: Jill Stein.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_01: is the candidate.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_01: She's the leader of the Green Party,
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_01: and she's been leading the Green Party for the last decade or so,
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_01: and she's terrible at it.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_01: She's just absolutely terrible at it.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_01: Under her wise and incredible leadership, they have no statewide seats anywhere in the country at all.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_01: They've lost about a third of their membership.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_01: And yeah, they're just terrible.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_01: Now, I'm not a fan of the Green Party to begin with.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_01: I know people like...
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_01: their overall politics are fine.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_01: But Jill Stein is just an asshole who only really gives a shit about herself and helping Republicans win.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_01: That woman is a Russian asset.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, she had dinner with freaking Vladimir Putin.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_01: She shows up in Russia and she does little videos from there going, oh my God, it's so wonderful here.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_01: It's like, okay, why don't you just go back and live there?
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_01: But
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_01: she is running as the candidate for the Green Party, and she was not running.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_01: She wasn't going to run in this election.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I bet she wasn't running in this election.
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and she wasn't.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_01: She said she wasn't running this time.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_01: But...
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_01: All the other rat fuckers failed, right?
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_01: Dean Phillips bombed out, right?
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_01: Never gained any traction.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_01: Marianne Williamson, you remember her?
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_01: No traction whatsoever.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_01: The crystal lady?
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_03: I actually like Dean Phillips, but he was a rat fucker.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_01: Cornell West, Jill Stein was actually his campaign manager for a while, right?
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_01: Because even though she wasn't running, she still had a vested interest in making sure Donald Trump won.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_01: But Cornell West never gained any traction.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_01: And then Kennedy, well, his campaign went off the rails a year ago.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_01: And it became really obvious that he was going to hurt Trump more than he was going
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_01: to hurt at the time Biden.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_01: That's when she decided all on her own.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_01: Absolutely nobody told her in Russian that she should start running.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: But that's when she decided to run.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_01: And she's been,
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_01: yeah,
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_01: she's been out there,
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_01: doing campaigning and she's been screaming about how first it was Joe Biden and now
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_01: it's Kamala Harris and how they're the worst thing ever.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_01: And it's like, worst than Trump?
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_01: Not fucking really.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_01: But yeah, she's been anti-anti-Trump and she's been very anti-Harris and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_01: And yeah,
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_01: So she sat down for an interview with Mehdi Hassan.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_01: And I honestly do not know for the life of me what she was thinking.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_01: Because Mehdi Hassan destroys people.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_01: Like, he annihilates people.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_01: Last year, he sat down with an interview with Matt Taibbi about the Twitter files.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_01: And it was one of the most uncomfortable interviews I've ever seen.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: Matt Taibbi wrote this.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_01: Twitter files.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_01: It was like a gazillion words.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_01: He did tons of research.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_01: Mehdi Hassan dissected him.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_01: He took him apart into little tiny pieces about his own articles.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_01: And Matt Taibbi just had no idea what was happening.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_01: It was like watching a little kid
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_01: get up for a book report and the teacher start asking really college level
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_01: questions to the kid going,
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_01: what?
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_01: I don't understand why I don't, but, and it was just awful.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_01: So, um, yeah, then, um,
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_01: Jill Stein thought she was just going to be able to bullshit her way through it.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_01: And Mehdi Hassan just absolutely fucking annihilated her.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_01: So I'm going to play the video here.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_01: And it's just super, super unpleasant.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, for her.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_01: For me, it was absolutely hilarious.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_01: So here we go.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_01: We looked at your social media and you haven't done that many posts specifically
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_01: calling out Russian attacks on civilian areas.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_01: You haven't called Vladimir Putin a war criminal, but you have called Benjamin Netanyahu a war criminal.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_01: No, actually we did.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_02: In my very first remarks about the Ukraine war, we condemned... Vladimir Putin is a war criminal.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_02: Yes, we did condemn... And Bashar al-Assad is a war criminal.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_02: uh yes in so many words yes we have in so many words so you call netanyahu one
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_02: which i think he is oh absolutely criminal so what we said about putin was that uh
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_02: his invasion of ukraine is a criminal it's a criminal and murderous war and he's a
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_01: war criminal who should be on trial
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_02: Well, by implication.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_01: You're struggling here.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_01: This is why people have their doubts about you and Russia.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_01: Why is Benjamin Netanyahu a war criminal but not Vladimir Putin?
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_02: Well, as John F. Kennedy said, we must not negotiate out of fear and we must not fear to negotiate.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_02: So if you want to be an effective world leader, you don't start by name-calling and hurling epithets.
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_01: So how will President Stein negotiate with Israel then if you've called Netanyahu a war criminal?
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_02: Well, because he very clearly is a war criminal.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_02: We don't have a decision, put it this way, by the International Criminal Court.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: Yes, we do.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_01: Yes, we do.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_01: There isn't yet an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_01: So why is Putin not a war criminal, but Netanyahu is?
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_02: Well, let me say this.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_01: Either you're a war criminal or you're not.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_01: Is Vladimir Putin a war criminal?
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_02: In so many words, yes, he is.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_02: Let me say that whatever you think he is,
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_01: if you want to pull him back,
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_02: if you are a world leader,
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_02: you don't begin your conversation by calling someone a war criminal.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_01: So why have you called Biden a Netanyahu war criminal?
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_02: Because we have a clear strategy and we have a very strong... Did you see?
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that last guy was just like, oh my God.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_03: He was like, am I really here?
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_03: This is
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: That was terrible and beautiful.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, that was beautiful.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_01: I mean, she's such a Russian operative.
- 1:08:35SPEAKER_01: She's so owned.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_01: She's so owned by the Russians.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_03: Oh, he got her good.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_03: I really enjoyed that.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_01: And, you know, honestly, this is something anyone in the press can do.
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_01: Anyone can do this.
- 1:08:48SPEAKER_03: And they should be doing it.
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_03: They should be fucking doing it.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_01: I mean,
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_01: yes,
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_01: you could absolutely,
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_01: if you're going to call Netanyahu a war criminal because,
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_01: Jesus,
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_01: he fucking is,
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_01: that's fine.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_01: But then you can't turn around and say, well, I can't say that about Vladimir Putin because reasons.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_01: It's like, actually, no, no, that's not how that works.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_01: You don't get off the hook for that because you're Jill Stein.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_03: Oh, that was beautiful.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_03: That was the perfect way to end the show.
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was just, I saw that and I was like, that's definitely going in the show.
