- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York. It's the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone Show on seven to ten. Wo Hey, it's Friday already,
- 0:12Speaker 1: but it's very hot and sticky and humid, and it's
- 0:15Speaker 1: going to be like that throughout the weekend. So we'll
- 0:17Speaker 1: get to the latest on Iran, We'll get to the
- 0:19Speaker 1: latest on the Little Worm, Doctor Fauci, We'll get the
- 0:22Speaker 1: Crazy Mom, Donnie and El Fayad, and a whole lot more.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Did I see a football game on television last night?
- 0:30Speaker 1: What the hell? That's when you know it's over. That's
- 0:36Speaker 1: when you know summers over. When you see that first
- 0:38Speaker 1: football game on TV. It's a pretty good game, but
- 0:43Speaker 1: it's too early. You don't want to see that yet.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So it's August seventh already, you got like three weeks
- 0:51Speaker 1: left of the summer, although it hasn't been a great summer.
- 0:53Speaker 1: You know, one week you can't see through the Canadian smoke.
- 0:57Speaker 1: The next week it's one hundred and fifty degrees right
- 0:59Speaker 1: now in Las Vegas, they've had a heat wave all week,
- 1:02Speaker 1: one hundred and fifteen hundred and thirteen hundred. So where
- 1:05Speaker 1: we think it's hot here, they're laughing at us over there.
- 1:08Speaker 1: So President Trump Iran, Are we really out of missiles?
- 1:13Speaker 1: That's the word coming from the Washington Post. Now, if
- 1:16Speaker 1: the Washington Post says we're out of missiles, you can
- 1:19Speaker 1: be pretty sure we're not out of missiles. If whatever
- 1:21Speaker 1: the Washington Post claims, you can assume it's maybe at
- 1:25Speaker 1: the most one tenth troop. We've used a lot of missiles,
- 1:28Speaker 1: but President Trump said, we still got plenty of.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Them, and we have an unlimited supply, and so we're
- 1:34Speaker 2: in great check. But with that being said, we always
- 1:39Speaker 2: want more. We have to have more. We have other
- 1:41Speaker 2: things maybe come up, you maybe come up, and maybe
- 1:43Speaker 2: don't come up. Hopefully nothing else does come up. But
- 1:46Speaker 2: we're in very good ship. We have literally massive amounts
- 1:49Speaker 2: of ammunition.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Okay, well that's true, but maybe maybe we're a little
- 1:53Speaker 1: lower than we used to be. Now he makes a
- 1:54Speaker 1: good point here.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Well, because we need more all the time, and we
- 1:58Speaker 2: need more. Look, we gave tremendous this amount to Ukraine,
- 2:02Speaker 2: the Biden people did, and they were given free of charge,
- 2:06Speaker 2: no charge, no charge, billions hundreds of billions of dollars.
- 2:11Speaker 1: All right, so let's interpret all that. Are we low
- 2:14Speaker 1: on missiles? I think what he's saying is we were
- 2:17Speaker 1: a little low. We're not as low as the Washington
- 2:19Speaker 1: Post claims. We might be a little low, but we'll
- 2:21Speaker 1: be fine. We keep taking these pauses chance to restock.
- 2:26Speaker 1: You know, there's another party that's been formed now. Tucker Carlson,
- 2:29Speaker 1: Marjorie Taylor Green, remember her, and a bunch of those
- 2:32Speaker 1: types have formed a new party. They are anti Maga
- 2:37Speaker 1: or whatever they are. They're not Republicans, but they're going
- 2:40Speaker 1: to farm their own party now. And this is good
- 2:42Speaker 1: for Republicans because it takes a lot of the wacos
- 2:45Speaker 1: and extremists out of the party and puts them into
- 2:48Speaker 1: this thing. And their whole theme is the president promised
- 2:51Speaker 1: no new wars. Well, he never promised anything of the sort,
- 2:55Speaker 1: never said that. If you go back and go through
- 2:57Speaker 1: all the campaign speeches, there are times where he said no,
- 3:00Speaker 1: no more stupid wars. He said no more endless wars. Now,
- 3:03Speaker 1: he never made a promise there'd be no new wars.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I mean, obviously nobody would, nobody in the right mind.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It wouldn't be rational for a president to promise it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: There are times you might need to go to a war,
- 3:14Speaker 1: and why would he He was pushing for a stronger military,
- 3:17Speaker 1: more weapons, more this, more of that. Obviously, you want
- 3:21Speaker 1: to be ready. And if you study interviews with Donald
- 3:24Speaker 1: Trump going back forty years, for forty years, he's been
- 3:29Speaker 1: talking about going after Iran and removing that regime. For
- 3:32Speaker 1: forty years he's been talking about that. He has not
- 3:35Speaker 1: ever promised no new wars. So, but it's good to
- 3:39Speaker 1: have this. This party will get the wackos out of
- 3:41Speaker 1: the party, will become like the Alex Jones sort of
- 3:45Speaker 1: party Wisconsin. You know, you got this crazy hung running.
- 3:49Speaker 1: This is the one who wanted to ban Thanksgiving. They
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't like anything about America. They don't like anything about it.
- 3:58Speaker 1: They don't like the Fourth of July. They don't like
- 4:01Speaker 1: hot dogs, they don't like football, they don't like anything
- 4:04Speaker 1: we do. Well, it turns out they don't like Thanksgiving either,
- 4:07Speaker 1: because that's a real American holiday. She called for banning Thanksgiving.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Now she's sort of backtracking a little on that. She
- 4:15Speaker 1: you know, she again, like most Democrats socialists, has absolutely
- 4:19Speaker 1: no qualifications to hold off as she was a chef.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Now listen to her. She's trying to explain her way
- 4:24Speaker 1: out of this.
- 4:25Speaker 3: I'm a chef and one of the first meals that
- 4:28Speaker 3: I made that was for the community when I was
- 4:32Speaker 3: sixteen was a Thanksgiving meal. Now, I always think my
- 4:36Speaker 3: hospitality background in owning a restaurant for seven eight years,
- 4:40Speaker 3: that bringing folks around the table to share conversation and
- 4:44Speaker 3: build community is always a good thing.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah, were two minutes ago you were calling for a
- 4:48Speaker 1: banning Thanksgiving and whatever you did at sixteen doesn't apply. Now,
- 4:52Speaker 1: what was her argument with Thanksgiving?
- 4:53Speaker 3: Thanksgiving is also a time that's incredibly painful for many
- 4:57Speaker 3: people in our communities, and so I think I've wanted
- 5:00Speaker 3: to make sure that people understood that there are multiple views,
- 5:04Speaker 3: but views can evolve.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Thanksgiving's not that much fun but painful, painful. Maybe if
- 5:11Speaker 1: you had the money on the lions or something, that'd
- 5:13Speaker 1: be painful. But it's pretty good. I mean it's not bad.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I mean, you gotta sit with a lot of relatives
- 5:20Speaker 1: and listen to them yell and screaming about politics. But
- 5:23Speaker 1: you got nine football games on during the day. It's
- 5:25Speaker 1: not that bad. So you got this crazy el Sayad,
- 5:29Speaker 1: doctor Abdul l Sayad, the crazy wacko left wing anti Semitic,
- 5:34Speaker 1: white supremacist socialist who's running in Michigan. Guess who flew
- 5:40Speaker 1: Guess who's flying there rushing there to help him. Gavin Newsom.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom, who was the front runner for twenty twenty
- 5:50Speaker 1: eight among the Democrats. But as we have been explaining
- 5:53Speaker 1: to you, whoever was the front runner this far out,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and it's usually some pretty boy John Edwards, a Gary Hardy,
- 6:00Speaker 1: somebody like that. Whoever that is always fizzles out and
- 6:03Speaker 1: is never the nominee. And sure enough Newsomb fizzled out.
- 6:06Speaker 1: He's long gone. So he's flying to Michigan. He's gonna
- 6:10Speaker 1: campaign with el said. He thinks that'll help him. One
- 6:15Speaker 1: thing about Newsom, give him credit. He's a chameleon. He
- 6:18Speaker 1: can turn into anything he needs to. So he didn't
- 6:22Speaker 1: even think about it. As soon as l Said was
- 6:25Speaker 1: declared the winner, Newsom endorsed him one minute later, and
- 6:29Speaker 1: just days later announced he'll be flying to Michigan. He'll
- 6:32Speaker 1: actually campaign for him, which is insane. Now, a normal
- 6:37Speaker 1: rational person, even if you're a Democrat like Fetterman, would
- 6:40Speaker 1: be against him.
- 6:41Speaker 4: The tough guy, he called me ugly, and then I
- 6:44Speaker 4: should be on a pike, and I'm like chief, I
- 6:47Speaker 4: own mirrors. I know I'm an ugly guy, but if
- 6:49Speaker 4: you want to put me on a pike, I mean
- 6:51Speaker 4: he has like a really like a little man syndrome
- 6:54Speaker 4: kind of energy.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, well, he just he just hates everybody. Hey, we
- 6:59Speaker 1: told you yesterday story about Mam Donnie getting booed. I
- 7:02Speaker 1: don't know what he was thinking, and who knows. He's
- 7:05Speaker 1: a clever guy, always scheming. He goes to Staten Island,
- 7:08Speaker 1: where he's not going to be well liked. He goes
- 7:10Speaker 1: to a police event, an NYPD night Out the NYPD
- 7:15Speaker 1: Staten Island. That's a recipe for disaster for a guy
- 7:19Speaker 1: like Mam Donnie. But he shows up anyway and tries
- 7:22Speaker 1: to speak at this event and listen to the crowd's reaction.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Why did I talk about are you ready for some
- 7:28Speaker 3: more camp day? No, we're getting even worse. Somebody's getting
- 7:34Speaker 3: the work.
- 7:35Speaker 5: You want to see who's getting it?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Aw, So they kept it up. They booed him off
- 7:42Speaker 1: the stage. He didn't last one minute, literally literally one minute,
- 7:46Speaker 1: and he was gone. He was off the stage. Hey, uh,
- 7:49Speaker 1: you know who's running for governor of Minnesota is Mike Lindell,
- 7:52Speaker 1: our old buddy or my pillow? Mike Lindell got in trouble.
- 7:57Speaker 1: A court ruled that he was an illegal campaign something
- 8:01Speaker 1: because some of the events he would throw my pillows
- 8:05Speaker 1: into the crowd. He would just throw them out into
- 8:08Speaker 1: the crowd. Now it turns out the court ruled my
- 8:12Speaker 1: pillow is it cost money. It's like fifty dollars or
- 8:16Speaker 1: sixty dollars. They have one hundred dollars my pillows, so
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's a valuable thing. And therefore he was bribing vote
- 8:22Speaker 1: whatever they tried to claim. So he's cut all ties, apparently,
- 8:26Speaker 1: or almost with my pillow. He's really serious about running
- 8:30Speaker 1: for governor and has pretty much stepped away from the company.
- 8:33Speaker 6: I will be no longer all involved in any way,
- 8:37Speaker 6: shape or form. I will be running for governor. I'm
- 8:40Speaker 6: all in for governor. I won't be I will just
- 8:43Speaker 6: be a minor stockholder. And that's it.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Now. We like Mike Lindell. He's a very nice guy.
- 8:48Speaker 1: But you're saying governor, Well, it's Minnesota. They've elected a
- 8:53Speaker 1: lot of people you would never expect. Remember you don't
- 8:57Speaker 1: have to be, you know, a typical politician to win
- 9:00Speaker 1: in Minnesota. Remember Al Franken won in Minnesota. There's no
- 9:04Speaker 1: wormier awful guy than Al Franken. Who else? Jesse Ventura
- 9:09Speaker 1: wrestler became the governor of Minnesota, So Minnesota, anything is possible.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'll vote for anybody there. Hey, a little doctor Fauci,
- 9:19Speaker 1: the dirty worm is held in contempt. The Senate Committee
- 9:25Speaker 1: Ran Paul's committee has voted to hold him in contempt.
- 9:28Speaker 7: The next decision we have decided is we will forward it.
- 9:31Speaker 7: It's the committee's verdict that he should be held in contempt,
- 9:35Speaker 7: and it will be sent. But no one said that
- 9:37Speaker 7: we won't bring it before the Senate. We'll see what
- 9:39Speaker 7: happens over Tom.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't have to bring it before the Senate
- 9:42Speaker 1: for a full vote. You can have Vice President Vance,
- 9:45Speaker 1: who's the President of the Senate, just sign it and
- 9:48Speaker 1: it's official. But they did hold him in contempt.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Mister Chairman, on the vote of those president the Yeaser
- 9:53Speaker 5: eight and five on the vote by proxy and for
- 9:55Speaker 5: the record only the Yeaser zero, the Naser two on
- 9:58Speaker 5: this vote, the Yser eight, the Naser five, and the
- 10:00Speaker 5: motion is agreed to.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Well, they got all the yeas and nays, nays and yeas,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and he's held in contempt. Now goes to the Department
- 10:07Speaker 1: of Justice. This case actually goes to Janine Piro, who
- 10:13Speaker 1: just got yelled at the other day by President Trump
- 10:16Speaker 1: for not prosecuting something. So you can be sure she'll
- 10:19Speaker 1: try to prosecute this, but it could be a tough case.
- 10:24Speaker 1: The argument is he took the Fifth Amendment obstructing the
- 10:27Speaker 1: committee and ran Paul during the hearing said you've got
- 10:32Speaker 1: a full pardon. You were pardoned. You have no right
- 10:36Speaker 1: to take the Fifth Amendment. Now, Paul Rampaul is actually
- 10:39Speaker 1: wrong about that. The pardon only applies for crimes committed
- 10:44Speaker 1: up until the date of the pardon, so this is
- 10:47Speaker 1: well after the pardon. And if he didn't take the Fifth,
- 10:51Speaker 1: if he were to testify and anything was a lie,
- 10:54Speaker 1: they could get him on perjury. So he absolutely had
- 10:59Speaker 1: the right to take the Fifth Amendment because he didn't
- 11:01Speaker 1: want to be caught in a perjury trap. Also, he
- 11:06Speaker 1: could testify to something and then states could go after him.
- 11:09Speaker 1: He could be charged by a state, So he did
- 11:13Speaker 1: have every right to take the Fifth Amendment and prevent
- 11:18Speaker 1: any state from coming after him with criminal stuff and
- 11:21Speaker 1: perjury trap. So I don't know how that case would
- 11:23Speaker 1: turn out. If they try to prosecute him. But Ran
- 11:26Speaker 1: Paul give him credit for sticking to it, going after
- 11:29Speaker 1: that little worm Fauci.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Seeking the truth is not a witch hunt. Accountability is
- 11:33Speaker 7: not vengeance. Accountability is what stands between the American people
- 11:38Speaker 7: and a repeat of the mistakes and the very real
- 11:41Speaker 7: consequences of the past.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And they got him on a lot of stuff. Isn't
- 11:44Speaker 1: Bobby Kennedy Junior give him credit. He's the one that
- 11:47Speaker 1: got Rand Paul. He had people go through he was
- 11:50Speaker 1: in charge of the Department of Health. He had access
- 11:53Speaker 1: to all the servers, all the computers. He had a
- 11:56Speaker 1: team dig through those servers and find that diary. Release
- 12:00Speaker 1: the diary. It showed that just pretty much proved that
- 12:04Speaker 1: little doctor Fauci lied about funding the Wuhan lab, lied
- 12:08Speaker 1: about starting the virus in that lab. You know, people
- 12:11Speaker 1: have said, if you're going to fund that kind of
- 12:13Speaker 1: dangerous research, the last place you would have done it
- 12:17Speaker 1: is the Wuhan Lab. They have no safety standards, no
- 12:22Speaker 1: order there. It's not clean, it's dirty. It's the worst
- 12:24Speaker 1: place you could have done that. And Fauci did that.
- 12:27Speaker 1: He lied about a lot of stuff, and it's in
- 12:29Speaker 1: the diaries. He lied even about the death rate during
- 12:32Speaker 1: the pandemic. He admits in the diary it was zero
- 12:35Speaker 1: point two percent. Publicly he was saying it was three percent.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Lied about a million things, not to mention whether one
- 12:42Speaker 1: thing they're really going to get him on, and this
- 12:44Speaker 1: could be actually a criminal. He was using his office
- 12:48Speaker 1: to profit, to make a lot of money, not only
- 12:50Speaker 1: teaming up with drug companies, but there's prize, there's awards
- 12:55Speaker 1: you get where you get a prize, a scientific prize
- 12:57Speaker 1: where there's money. The Dan David Prize, you get a
- 13:01Speaker 1: million dollars, and there's a bunch of those, and he
- 13:05Speaker 1: got a bunch of those. But in the diary, all
- 13:08Speaker 1: of his emails are attached, and in his emails you
- 13:10Speaker 1: can see him using his staff as chief of staff,
- 13:13Speaker 1: his assistance to go out and solicit those awards, and
- 13:17Speaker 1: he got millions from those awards. Now, the other thing
- 13:19Speaker 1: is just supposed to when you get this Dan David
- 13:22Speaker 1: price to million dollars supposed to go to research. But
- 13:26Speaker 1: the way it's written, you only have to give one
- 13:28Speaker 1: hundred thousand of research and you can pocket the other
- 13:30Speaker 1: nine hundred thousand. And Fauci went from nothing to being
- 13:34Speaker 1: worth about fifteen million dollars thanks to these awards and
- 13:38Speaker 1: his deals with the drug company. So all that's in there.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And even if you can't convict this, he'll never go
- 13:43Speaker 1: to jail. He's not going to jail. He's eighty five.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Nobody's going to send him to jail. But even if
- 13:48Speaker 1: he's not convicted, if you get a trial going, all
- 13:52Speaker 1: of this evidence can be presented and be on the
- 13:55Speaker 1: record once and for all. Now, remember we told you
- 13:58Speaker 1: Florida has come after Himttorney General there subpoenaed him. Now
- 14:02Speaker 1: it turns out the two other states, Louisiana and West Virginia,
- 14:06Speaker 1: are coming after him and expect more. Expected to be
- 14:11Speaker 1: ten states by probably early next week. Hey, Mitch McConnell
- 14:15Speaker 1: got released from the hospital. He's eighty four. He was
- 14:19Speaker 1: discharged after nearly two months. Nobody believed he was actually alive.
- 14:24Speaker 1: They were putting out these weekend at Bernie kind of pictures.
- 14:27Speaker 1: But apparently he is released. He's gone home home to
- 14:30Speaker 1: DC his house there. He says, on the advice of
- 14:35Speaker 1: my doctors, I'll maintain an intensive regiment of physical therapy
- 14:40Speaker 1: from home. He says he's not going back to the
- 14:43Speaker 1: Senate for a while, all right, we'll see hey, Vinny Pastor,
- 14:49Speaker 1: star of the Sopranos. He played Big Pussy Vincent Pastor.
- 14:53Speaker 1: The funeral was yesterday, more than one hundred mourners Holy
- 14:57Speaker 1: Family Church in New Rochelle. Born in the Bronx but
- 15:00Speaker 1: raised in New Rochelle died at the age of eighty.
- 15:03Speaker 1: A lot of people there. Not a lot of sopranos there.
- 15:06Speaker 1: What does that mean. Stevie van Zant was there, he
- 15:09Speaker 1: spoke at the funeral, but otherwise not a lot of
- 15:12Speaker 1: sopranos there. But one hundred people showed up. His daughter
- 15:15Speaker 1: moving eulogy, and apparently he was very close to Stevie
- 15:20Speaker 1: van Zant and his wife Maureen. In fact, they said
- 15:22Speaker 1: they had talked to him just two days before he died.
- 15:25Speaker 1: So of course you all know Hi from the Sopranos.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Could He was also pretty good in Carlito's Way. That
- 15:29Speaker 1: was his first big juicy part, Carlito's Way with al Pacino,
- 15:34Speaker 1: And you see him briefly in Goodfellows. There's a shot
- 15:37Speaker 1: of him when they show that cab stand at the
- 15:39Speaker 1: beginning freeze frame it and look at the faces. There's
- 15:42Speaker 1: a lot of famous people in that cab stand picture.
- 15:45Speaker 1: There's Paully Walnuts is in there, and a whole bunch
- 15:49Speaker 1: of people that would later appear in other Scorsese films. Hey,
- 15:54Speaker 1: we got a lot to get to, so don't go away.
- 15:56Speaker 1: We'll get to We'll get the crazy mom down, the's
- 15:58Speaker 1: latest schemes, and the Delaney Hall. They're trying to close
- 16:01Speaker 1: that down with a Latin a lot more just ahead,
- 16:04Speaker 1: don't forget. I start at nine o'clock. Now it's nine
- 16:07Speaker 1: to noon every day, nine to noon every day right
- 16:10Speaker 1: here on seven ten wor
