- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to the show, Sherry.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, thanks for having me.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's always a good to be back with you.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it is.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: And finally, I'm, I have been talking about politics.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, you know, last kind of our year, too.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: Last time you were here, I was still in my, I'm a little nervous.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: And actually, I'm going to later on, I'm going to ask you about.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: talking about it.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: But before we get into politics, of course, this is us.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: So we have to talk about, and just like that, sex in the city, because there's always so many opinions.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: And before we get into what you think of it, I want to say, you know, Bob and I continue to hate, love watch it.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I know Bob had sent me an article, and I believe it was the Huffington Post, and it was somebody who was just so over-carry.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: And it's funny because I saw an interview
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: with Sarah Jessica Parker.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: And she's getting a lot of criticism.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I will criticize her, but I still love the show.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not coming out of actual hate.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's just I get really irritated.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, she was defending Carrie.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: And she was saying something like, well, men get to be serial killers.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: And everybody loves them.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, OK, but they're serial killers.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's all.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we expect of them.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: We know that they're a serial killer.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we expect.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: Carrie was not a serial killer.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: Carrie was just a regular person.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: And it was the way she treated her friends and all that stuff that sometimes people said she was really annoying.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: But this new, I don't even want to call it season like this new part of the show and just like that.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: It is so perplexing to me, and I know some of the things you're going to say, but I mean, some of the, they don't, you know, it's like Carrie was afraid to say vagina or she didn't want to say vagina on her podcast.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: about sex, because she was such a pro.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, what do you talk?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, did the writers even understand what she does for a living?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't get it.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: So there's all kinds of issues from her clothes, from her, like, privileged entitlement.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I know you have some specific problems and I want you to voice them.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I should tell, I should tell your, your, your audience that you and I've gone back and forth, like, like, like, like, like, like this long message for me saying, I could solve this video.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we like to like, let this,
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: a couple of things.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think the writers, and I knew one of the writers in the first season of, and just like that, and she's no longer there.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think the writer, I think the show's gotten worse.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: The new characters don't resonate with us because they aren't part of the old set.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: I know that we're trying to be include more people of color and everything, but there's a way to do it that feels more organic, I guess.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it just didn't.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Is that a criticism or not?
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, good for them for the effort, but I'm just not getting into the new
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: characters, and I miss Samantha, but a couple of things.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: The Miranda, and this was something that I saw somebody did a video on this, and I, and I, and this is how I feel Miranda has changed so much, and it's not just that she's decided that she's, that she's a lesbian.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: Her personality has changed.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: And this, and this video, she noted that she went all through, she was made partner
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: This powerhouse of an attorney confident.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: She'd tell anybody off that was almost like too much.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: And now she's this meek little thing is trying so hard doesn't know what to say.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: And also she drank her way through her twenties and thirties and forties and did just fine.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: These girls party.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: They had their house of politics and all of a sudden now.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: She's now she's suddenly alcoholic and they happy to like two weeks.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, these things just don't make any sense.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now, with regard to the vagina thing, I'm going to disagree with you.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think that the podcast was probably wrong.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: And remember, it wasn't really hers.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: She was playing off Chey.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: Carrie, when she had, you know, the sex in the city column that she had in the, I guess it was.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, Chey wasn't there.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: Chey wasn't that, the whole vagina thing when it was just, oh.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I just, yeah, her, her previous persona, her, she talked about sex and dating.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: It was not like pornographic and she wasn't using a whole lot of those words.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I, I think that is what the body part, it's just a body part.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: But for her to not say it, you know, I think was was fine for her.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I, what, what I do, I have a, I have a problem with I'm going to have.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: couldn't jump in all over the place.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think these women look good and it's not because they've aged.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think they've leaned in.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I said to you.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: They have leaned in too far to the it's okay to age.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: The women living in New York with their resources.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: And when you look at the very expensive clothing, which still is not realistic for New York, I lived in New York for over three years.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like they've kind of gone into this fashion porn thing.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: Carrie liked to dress creatively, but leaning into March too much into the very expensive wardrobe makes her not seem realistic.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: But these women, if they were true, just not even as wealthy as they are,
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: They would probably be getting teeth whitening, at least some face peels, maybe some Botox.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they are leaning too far into the aging thing.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost like they are purposely trying to make them look older, even with the lighting.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well Charlotte did get a facelift, the actress.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: And that was evident.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: That was evident on the very first season of, and just like that, and it's calm down, her face lift has absolutely calm down.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, she just looked a little puffy maybe from fillers or something.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure she has fillers too.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, but with Sarah, I will say about Sarah Jessica, she does not appear to have any work done.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's the, I think she's the fillers under the, I think she's had fillers under the eyes like Melania has done.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what gives it that kind of squinty look.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: And that was all the time ago.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: right well i mean just in the but if you look i mean she's got typical aging lines on her face yeah i did see a flattering article or video or whatever it was talking about her hair and the hair of the women because they're saying you know it just because you get older doesn't mean you have to have shorter hair i know that might my face
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: looks better and it always has, even when I was younger, with a little bit shorter, not short hair, but like maybe shoulder length or a little longer.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think Harry's hair is ridiculous, I think.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: She's got a long thin face and the prominent nose, and this was even in the first series when they straightened it.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it flatters her face.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: Sarah Jacket is just like a Parker's face.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Looks more balanced and fresh and young and beautiful when she's got those curls, you know, those golden girls.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: They could even mix some of the gray in it.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's just more flattering.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: Her look now is so severe and so drawn.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think initially they were doing that because she was grieving and I would see them kind of loosen up some of it.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just, it's all just too much and all the layers she wears.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: None of its realistic and people wearing stiletto heels running around in their home when they're at home.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then the, oh my god, the ridiculous story with Aiden.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's not.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're trying too hard aren't they?
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: The truth is something back from the old series and they're missing the mark.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: They're missing it and the thing is it's his son isn't you know trouble and having problems.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: So it's this whole thing of I have to go back because she's in New York.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: Adon's like I have to go back and live in Virginia for five years and Carrie doesn't even know if she can contact him.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what the fuck is that?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: You would at least set some, okay, here's what we're going to do.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, they're going to con what you're, and he wants her to wait for five years.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: What with no contact, and he's not sure what to do.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: It makes no sense.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: There's a mother in the picture.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: Can't she take her own son for a couple of days, every couple of weeks, so he can go visit.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: And you're, yeah, it's so dumb.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's so dumb.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: I can't even believe how dumb it is yet.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: I still watch it.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: I watch it because I'm nostalgic for how they used to be.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: They made Charlotte a character tour of herself.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: She's a mom now.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: They've turned her into like a cartoon and she's not interesting.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: She used to be someone with depth and layers and you could tell
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: When dating with different men, with friends, the thing with her brother, how she struggled with the career stuff, what should I do?
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Body image, normal things.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: When she was happy, sometimes she was the happier, more optimistic one.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: And now she's just a cartoon.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, don't know what to do with her.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: And they've made her and Harry just seemed silly and old.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the other thing that somebody noted in one of these videos
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: I watched it because I was like, I'm like, I come across them.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so then once you want to, they all keep popping up and you keep watching them.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: They noted, aside from the fact that how did Miranda, who's been, you know, party and drank at the career of all these decades and all the sections and alcoholic and you can't handle herself in the job and how to deal with people.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: And they, you know, they noted this stuff about, you know, about Carrie and about Charlotte and they're like, but the
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'll probably have to have it in my seventies.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well, two friends I know have had both hips replaced in their
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: That is, it could be.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think that they're leaning into the age thing a little bit too much.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: And what this person noted was that Samantha Jones was older than these girls.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: She was in her fifties when the show was still sexy and cool.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: And she looked good.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: And she accepted her age.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: And she got the designer reading glasses.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: But she was still a sexy, vibrant, modern woman and confident.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: These women now reach the age that Samantha was then.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: And there's like, all of these changes that they listen, just the inevitable changes with age.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, yes, but also no.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm older than that.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: Then I'm kind of in that age range, but a few years older.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, I get it.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, they're just leaning into it.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think too much.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what's not realistic to me.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Cause the last show they had Harry.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: uh... he was going to go to a nightclub and he didn't have a pair of jeans which was odd since they're so wealthy and then when he got jeans he was walking like in a weird way as if the jeans were so tight it's like why don't you just buy jeans that fit and it was like he didn't and then he wound up paying himself
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: because he couldn't get to the, it was like ridiculous.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, I was discovered.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: I have a prostate issue.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, yeah.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, yeah.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I can't button my pants fast enough.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, Bob and I just sit there and scream at the TV, but we still watch it.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, but.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's watch it.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: We can help it.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: Let's wait.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: What about what about the rats in the courtyard?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my God.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: She was sitting in Stoletto heels.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: She was sitting in Stoletto heels.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: She was in the courtyard.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think she's I think what they're working up to because she then and then I'll shut up about this.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: They have her staying in the guest room and aid in this farm.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's like this hot young new guy that's doing the garden so clearly they're gearing up for her to have some wild sexual affair You know with him out and one more thing I don't like how so soon after Big died when she looks at Miranda on the street She says we was big just a big mistake because of Aiden I thought oh my god
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: I know that was dumb.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: That was dumb.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, what the hell is wrong with these writers?
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, did they ever want to raise a show?
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they did.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: I think they were too young.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think they were teenagers maybe when they the first show was on.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: So they didn't really understand that they weren't that wasn't their lived experience like it was for us.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it shows.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's just irritating, but whatever.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: So at least we got our sex in the city and just like that, we've vented our frustrations out, you all know them now.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so let's, I want to ask about something very specific here.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you happen to see that ad.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: That was put out by, I don't know, some pack.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: And it was basically, you know, woman and a man and they're walking along and all of a sudden these guys come up and they're wearing masks and they're dressed in black and, you know, they're snatching them away.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to preface this by saying, number one, I did not watch the entire video.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: because it's very triggering and jarring for me.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like, and I want you to kind of come in and defend it really, because I'm not saying that ad shouldn't be.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm saying is, I have an understanding of what's happening, a clear understanding.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen the videos of people being disappeared, of just ICE agents or whoever they are,
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: going up to people on the street, putting them in a vehicle, and then they're just gone.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I do understand that that's happening.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: Those videos are not targeting me.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, when I saw that video, I don't know if you've seen it, but it's very, it's hard at it.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, me too.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: So it's very upsetting, and the thing that concerns me about it, and I'm not, it's not a complaint, but it's, I guess, a fear, a concern, is that if we start seeing more of this, and it's becoming something that we are getting used to,
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's, this is now part of American culture to see.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be de-sensitized.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so, I mean, I understand the benefit of the video for people who are not necessarily paying attention, but like everybody on Blue Sky, everybody who's still on Twitter.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think we all pretty much know what's going on.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so I don't know.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: What do you, I mean, I, I said you can defend it, but what do you think about it?
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: I, I will kind of defend it.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I did see something today that this is testing very high with young men, young men are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think for us because we are immersed in this and, and we spend our, our days doing this.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: It is hard for us because we are immersed in it.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: and we know what this is.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: So it's triggering.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: And we've talked before about in this stage of the fight because things are more serious than they've ever been after all these years.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: You have to take, you have to engage in some self care and sometimes step aside.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: And that might be what you're experiencing and what others who are immersed in this are experiencing.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: But powerful as now, the thing is, are they just, is it just running on social media where you have people who are already plugged into this stuff and know what's happening?
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: Or are they running it on TV?
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't looked at that.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: And that's always been my question.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: It was my question with the Lincoln Project and others.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Where are you running these videos?
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: Did you test them?
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because Lincoln Project didn't test them this one apparently.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: They did.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: In any time you're doing an ad by the way, the little sidebar for campaigns, because I've done this.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: I've hired ad guys.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: I've been involved in the process.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: I've written ads.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when you're doing it on a large scale like that, you test it.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: You have focused groups.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been involved in that process.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so I, and I end up writing one of the top national ads in a presidential year as a result of all this in my training in this.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're just putting videos on social media to preach to the choir,
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: who already agree with you because then they open their wallets you're not then you're not only not doing anything helpful you're doing harm because that money goes into the
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: the pockets of the, you know, the generational wealth guys, rather than electing Democrats.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I said that before they have the Democratic House majority sitting in their bank accounts, you have to run these ads on TV and reaching out to people, maybe on Facebook, people who are not immersed in it like we are.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: Most of my Facebook followers, friends, other people from
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know, high school and college, very few of them are actually on Twitter, let alone blue sky.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, some are little by little.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: But those are the people that you need to reach.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: I have high school friends who are big, mega evangelicals that I unfriended.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so they try and send me private messages, trying to get me to wake up to all this stuff.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and those are the people that need to see the video that you're talking about.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: And if they are not airing it to that crowd, then it's kind of useless.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine with being triggered.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: I understand it and I understand that I engage in self-care and sometimes take a day off and just not look at the stuff, not think about this stuff.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm going to stay active and try and have a role in helping us get back to be a country that we need to be.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: But again, my problem is always, okay, I did hear they said it's testing it.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: So if they're testing it, maybe they are running it and it's targeted audience, because as I say, incessantly, and I used to say this when I taught I used to teach student master's program.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: I taught political communication strategy at the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University, four or five years, you know.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: You're right down the street from the White House.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: Close elections are one or lost in the margins.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're just playing to the people who already agree with you to fill your coffers, you're not playing in those margins.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: We gotta find those margins.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're still there, Kimberly.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: I know people say, well, if you voted for Trump at twenty, sixteen, twenty, twenty, twenty, twenty-four, you're lost to us.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: You gotta go, you spend the most money in the time and effort finding those people for those that very slim margins as we know.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's where it goes.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: So people don't like that idea and people will say every single mega.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: I know in my family.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: You can't change their mind.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that may or may not be true.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: Then we're not looking just at your family.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: Again, the numbers are so small that we're targeting.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: So this ad is very, very powerful.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: If if
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: They are getting it in front of the people who need to see it.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_01]: Totally agree.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're saying I didn't vote for this.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_01]: That said, I think a lot of maga did in fact vote for this.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: They want illegal's gone.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: What they don't want is war.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: What they don't want is high egg prices, gross prices, high gas prices.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: What they don't want is losing their job and social security or medicare medicare being cut.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this crowd hate to say this, but I thought this for a while.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: We are doubling down on this because it feels right to those of us who have a heart and a soul and a brain and think people need care about this.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: But if they don't care about it, it's not going to help us politically.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: The same with the trans issue, the trans kids issue.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: You hate to see these kids being targeted.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: But the focus on it hurts the larger effort.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: So because
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: The people that you want, whose minds you want to change, you're not going to change their minds.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, it makes them double down.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: Magus successfully defined the Democratic Party by this stuff and it's not the whole of everything.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so you have to make those hard choices.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to abandon people, but we're not really doing anything to help them.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: We are in fact
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: hurting trans kids when they are out there as the focus.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if this makes sense or not.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: So again, you have to find the issues that you can reach some of these people in the margins.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know, hold your nose, know that we still find them at orange and disgusting.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: But we have to win this thing.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's not about making us feel better.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: And it's a hard head thing.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think too often, Democrats
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: lean into the part which is understandable, but we got to be warriors.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: You have to be warriors.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: You have to, I own a copy of the Art of War.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: And you have to go with what works and extrapolate the issue that's going to the issues that are going to reach those people in the margins and sway them.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure the issue of undocumented illegals being stuffed in advance is going to matter to them.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: This is what they voted for.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure that the trans kids not being able to get gender affirming surgery until they reach a certain age is really something that's going to move the needle.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: And the focus on it doesn't necessarily help trans kids.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: And that may sound harsh.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if there's other ways we could help them, but I don't think what we're doing is getting
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: the job done.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's making us feel better because we are focusing on issues that make us feel like good people.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think effective.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and the point obviously is that we want to win and there is, I mean, there's even liberals and I've seen them and I've heard them talking about the fact that they, you know, maybe they agree with some right winners when it comes to trans youth and maybe it's just because they don't fully understand and they're not interested in learning.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I just want to kind of veer off a little bit, there's somebody that I know, I'm not going to get into the details, but as soon as Gavin knew some, you know, started getting some, you know, the way he was communicating to everybody, has messaging on Trump was very positive.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: And people were upset with him for a long time because he was calling things a distraction.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: He called Garcia a distraction.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: I guess people who are homeless, the way he's talked about the homeless, or at least the people who care about the homeless.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: felt offended by some of the things he was saying and then you know all of a sudden he is now praising or I'm sorry he has messaging on what Trump is doing and everything that's happening is exactly what we need to hear and so I think the point of all of this is that
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they're going to be certain top topics and issues that are going to be winning for everybody, not everybody, but you know what I mean for like the bigger picture.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: And it's my feeling that it's not so much that you have to ignore trans people.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that there, I think one of the things that the right is very good at is maybe not lately, but what they used to be good at is
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: Just keeping things quiet.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: If they wanted to get rid of Rowe, they weren't going to necessarily run on getting rid of Rowe.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: They were just going to win and then get rid of Rowe.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: And we're not on other issues.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: And say, yeah, I see your point.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we're agreeing with each other on this.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, because it's like it's
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: I totally get that, you know, we have to be vocal and stand up for each other.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: But when it's going to hurt us politically, even though it might be the right moral thing to do, we want to think about that and say, all right, well, we've got an agenda.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to pass bills that will protect the trans youth.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: But if we campaign on that, it's going to piss off a certain sector of the ignorant public.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, and when I say ignorant, it just means they're not necessarily informed.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: They don't have to be hateful.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's about defining yourself and you're opponent.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I choose what to define yourself on.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: You don't let them do it.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: And Democrats let Republicans define the Democratic Party.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: They do.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: They do.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm so tired of it.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the first thing I do, like with a candidate when I teach a class, my very first class is just on research research, research, gathering data, everything.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: Even stuff you think you don't, you don't aren't going to use.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: And, um,
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I would make Republicans in my graduate school be Democrats and Democrats be Republicans to put them in the other person's shoes that you are really professionals that when you're going into a campaign or doing an issue, campaign and people are paying you.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: You're best, not just, oh, I have a good heart and I'm going to be an activist.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no, they're paying you to be a strategist.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: So you gather all the data and I would post questions to them.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, what if this was a number of years ago when this still matter, but it still doesn't some Republican districts, what if
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: OK, you come across information that the opponent might be gay.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: So we're talking research here, gathering all the raw data.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: And so something like, how did we never use that?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, OK, here's the thing.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: We are not talking about using it, but you want to know that.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, why would we want something like that?
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: I said, because
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: If you're able to get that information, that means other people have a whether it's gossip in the town, reporters have it.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: And you are not going to address it with your candidate, put it in the whole packet and have these conversations.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: So your candidate is going to be out there and get caught with a question and not know how to respond.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: And if they had time to think about it, they might say, I don't really care about that.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I will never bring that up nor should you.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then never say anything about it.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: But they need to have that choice.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: And if their choice is to double down and use it, then you might want to consider whether you want to be a part of that campaign.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: But we're talking about gathering all the data.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: Because then the picture starts forming.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: And part of that data can really is polling.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what's going to poll well.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so there might be twelve big issues that are important to your candidate.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: And there might be
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: three, you don't want to run more on three, that are actually easy to explain, easier to run on, and that you kind of extrapolate to pull the whole thing up and define the campaign by that.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: And Republicans do know that because I was a Republican when I went to the American campaign academy, a ten week boot camp full time out in a warehouse in Virginia that Newt had it funded where, I mean, we learned this stuff, I mean, and we were like, girl warfare going
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: going out there into the field running these campaigns.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: So it is a science.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: You have to have more than just heart.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: And we were heavily trained to do it.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see Democrats doing that.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: I am particularly in sense that they are not having daily briefings that I brought up endorsed by Mark Kubin.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: There's no reason not to.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: I could have this up and running in four days.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: I suggest a peat.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: Booty judge.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: Booty judge.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: Booty judge.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: As the lead, I think that would be upsetting to other twenty twenty eight hopefuls because, you know, that would give him a big platform.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: But you need something on par with a daily White House press briefing that's going to make it into the same news cycle where it's fact checking.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: And that means it checks humor, who I guess is the one I think is the one standing in the way.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: It has to be done in Congress under the auspices of Congress, so it is on par.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: And they can pay for it.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: I've figured that out.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's cheap.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know, assess each democratic office leadership offices, committees.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: You can, you know, there's a policy and steering committees that could pay for this and give him five staff.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then they can also get a permanent room in the capital or a senator could give up their their hideaway.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: And it has to be the same time.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: It just the same thing in the same cycle.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: Not in place of the weekly briefings that Schumer gives or for Jeffrey's words, but.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then they bring in this, you know, shadow cabinet, people's cabinet that
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: Ken Martin mentioned a long time ago and now since is forgotten about you know they could be the areas expertise Democrats aren't doing that and the fact that they aren't means they are in real disarray or there might be some people who are complicit maybe Chuck Schumer is just too immersed in that old New York stuff with with Trump there's old pictures our friend Don Winslow was putting on Twitter of Schumer you know attending when he was like a Assemblyman or something attending you know birthday party of
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: Where I come, you know, Trump sky.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: So the fact that Democrats are not getting it together at the most basic levels is is very disturbing to me.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the thing that bothers me.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: every day.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: And they're talking about having, you know, bringing all the big consultants and saying, how can we spend money?
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is, you know, that's not how you run a campaign.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what we're in.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: First you figure out what is it going to take?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: What do we need to say and do to reach these people?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: What does that matter?
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then you put together your tactics.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, how do we get that message out?
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: You devise the tactics like I just laid out about the daily press briefing as one of them.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: You do that and then you figure out how much is going to cost you to do it and that's when you put it, you know, that's your budget and then when you need the money and that's when you develop your fundraising plan and they're doing they're so used to these guys that, you know, the kickback culture when political consultants are so used to this that that's their go to give me several million dollars.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, anybody can go into a congressional campaign for the guys
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: a millionaire, you know, multi-millionaire, and spend a million dollars on a campaign.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: As of twenty-nineteen, the average successful house campaign was two million dollars.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: So, anybody can do that.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel the same way about the guys that go in and find rich guys that want to be spoilers in a presidential campaign because they can fund it themselves.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: You're not a campaign strategist if that's the only way you can do it.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: A good campaign, stranded strategist, pushed together the plan.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: You'd get that research first.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_01]: Research, research, research, raw data.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Even if it's finding out, you know, how the, because guys mortgages are, do they, do they own a boat?
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: Do they, you know, what's their boat is?
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: They vote every year.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: All the stuff that you do for a research and the list is long.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: That is the first thing you do.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: That helps you find your message and your theme, which
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: can be two different things.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: That is where you put together your campaign plan.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: That is when you know what you have to say and who you need to reach.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then again, your tactics.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, what are those tactics going to cost when are we going to need it?
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: This is our budget.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: Now we plug in fundraising.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody talks, nobody does that anymore.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's really infuriating and I've, I've been vocal about it and I just, you know, I want to be clear here.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's not that I'm anti-democrat.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, but I'm also very concerned with what they're not doing and what they're not saying.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just upsetting to me.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: And what really irritates me is when people on social media, you know, some guy said to me today, I take on bridge with, you know, you're criticizing the Democrats because Republicans are so awful.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, yes, you're criticizing.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: You're not criticizing.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: thinking, yeah.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's like, I mean, with anything, I mean, I always go to that sports analogy, which I am not a sports person.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: But every, you know, every big team is going to watch what they did.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: And they're going to say this worked.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_00]: This didn't.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to fix this and we've got to fix that.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's not bashing.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's just going over and analyzing what worked.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: And if, you know, if it didn't work, don't do it anymore.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: And hey, let's try this strategy and let's try that strategy.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: And we are no longer
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: in what we used to call the normal times or what we call the normal times now because we're not before times.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_00]: We have to take a quick break and we will be back after this message.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, real quick.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_00]: This is Kimberly.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_00]: If you're enjoying this conversation, please consider becoming a patron at patreon.com slash start me up.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_00]: You'll see all the different tiers.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: Choose one and be a patron today.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks in advance.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we're back.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I want to ask you about, because you were mentioning earlier these people from mag of that, you know, you just need to slim margin.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: So this whole thing with Iran, and especially did you say, I imagine you saw the Tucker Carl, Tucker Carlson interview with Ted Cruz.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: I heard about it.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_01]: I did not see it.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was great because Ted Cruz was just, he's such a fucking asshole.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, hey, both of them.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but, you know, this is not, in case anyone is confused, I hate Tucker Carlson too.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's a fucking asshole.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: But he was going after Ted Cruz and he was like, you know, okay, well, how many, what is the population of Iran or Iran or whatever it was?
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: And Ted Cruz didn't know.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: And so,
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: Tucker's kind of looking at him with that face, like the dog that turns his head to the side.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, you don't know the population?
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even know the population?
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even know anything about, you know, and he was just kind of intentionally poking a Ted Cruz.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: And he got him.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: He destroyed him.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't like to use that word destroyed, but he did.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: So what we're seeing here is a split in the Republican Party about this idea.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, these people, like you said, they voted for immigrants to be stuffed in demands, even though it's not all illegal immigrants.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: That they're okay with.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: But the idea of these wars, and so you've got people like Steve Bannon, the old, the whole America first side, taking out the oligarchs,
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: at least the tech oligarchs.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: Those people are all anti-war.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: And so do you think, I mean, what do you think about this?
- 33:31[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think it's going to be a really big problem?
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think how far do you think this is going to go?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, you know, with Donald Trump, we're going to talk about him in a minute, his cognitive issues.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, do you think this, what do you think is happening here with Iran?
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: I always think that it's something other than what is on the surface.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: We know how these guys operate.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: We know they don't really give a crap about anything other than.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: Then they're on power, influence, and money.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: I suspect Steve Bannon just needed to do something to stand out because he kind of faded.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why he goes up against Elon Musk.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: He also doesn't want Musk and those guys to get the money he wants to get on it.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_01]: So trust me, the minute the minute they
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: What Steve Bannon wants them to do is say, OK, how do we shut Steve Bannon up?
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we roll him into the big money thing that because he wants the money and then he'll shut up.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: With Tucker Carlson, it's that plus of voice and power.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Tucker has been fired by all three cable nets.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's why he went nuts.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: I used to be on crossfire with him when he was one of the co-hosts and he was not like this.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he is, he's kind of got that Megan Kelly manic mirror.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter how much money they have.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: They brought down and so they're just going to lash out at, at everybody.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: So with Tucker, it's that Tucker, I think is more dangerous than Steve Bannon.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: I get that.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_00]: I do get that.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_00]: Then he recently said that Fox News was lying to elderly people.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: So they're, I mean, he's angry.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously at Fox News.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Fox News might not be serving the agenda of these guys.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, maybe they wanted a different network.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'd like to see one on our side like Mark Kuban, take all these reporters who are getting fired or pushed out of the cable nets and the big networks and then open the door for a few others to leave.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think that there could be a mass walkout.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then bring in, you know, independent journalists, everything has started something new and have it be multi-platform.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: So these guys are all about the next step up on what they can get out of it.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: And it's egos.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: But with Tucker, it's a deep bitterness.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, like with Megan Kelly, where they've completely sold their souls.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: And they spew stuff
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: For an agenda that is to serve them, it's not what they really believe.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: I know making Kelly doesn't believe a word that comes out of her mouth.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: The same thing with Greg Kelly at Newsmax.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was a Democrat.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: I used to know him quite well when he was at Fox News.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: He keeps getting pushed out of jobs.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: The local Fox thing that he had in New York.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: He got pushed out of that.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: That was a really strange thing.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: And it got married real quickly.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: And he said he has something else lined up that was unemployed for a couple of years.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: And this was after the whole, you know, rape, allegation thing.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: But he's got a powerful daddy.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so his powerful dad could hire him, can sunshine the top PR guy in the country.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: to clean some of this stuff up.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, Newsmax hires these like sexual predators guys that get me to doubt of things and and gives them a job.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: And so they it's kind of like with Trump.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, hired people who have nowhere else to go or can't get within a mile of these jobs completely unqualified people who are already criminals.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: And then you pardon them and then they become your flying monkeys.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: They owe you.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, right.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: And here's a thing, really.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: Once you commit a crime for Trump or do something completely unethical and horrible, he owns you.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: And people do these things because they think, well, I'll get a pardon.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: And then that means they will commit crime after crime after crime.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: I've put out things about these ice agents better be careful because they are real confident.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: They're doing things that are illegal and unconstitutional as if they will never be a price to pay.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe there won't be, maybe we're done as a country.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: But if we ever do, it's something close to we're winning, you know, there will be accountability in the, like in the Nuremberg tribe, Nuremberg trials, I was just following orders, doesn't work.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: So we have to focus on letting these people know that that's not going to work.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: These orders are illegal and unconstitutional and you will be held accountable if we are able to defeat you.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: So you better hope that we're not able to.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I kind of also know I want to talk about Donald's cognitive issues.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: And we saw before, I'm just going to keep bringing this up, but we saw before the election.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_00]: He was going on about Arnold Palmer's massively big penis.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then he was jerking off the microphone.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: And it was literally like a week or two, maybe a days before the election.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't jerking up the microphone.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: He was giving it a blow job if I just said.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's just an important detail.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: Performing Felicia on the microphone.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: But what that tells me.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: is that, you know, I mean, we see people who are either, you know, they've got dementia or Alzheimer's or the start of it, and they become sexually inappropriate.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously Donald has spent a lifetime being sexually inappropriate, but not in the way that he was not, you know, when he was younger in twenty sixteen, he would have never gone off talking about the size of Arnold Palmer's dick.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: So he has lost a lot of what he had, you know, I mean, when he first came down that escalator,
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: There's physical and cognitive decline that we can see.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: There's all this talk about him having a catheter.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's either got, you know, there's something at the back of his legs on the bottom.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: There was a picture of him that showed something as underneath those pants and around his legs.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_00]: Some people thinks it's pispags.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: Some people think it's braces because he has a hard time walking.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless of what it actually is, it implies that he is having a difficult time.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: Now we both know
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: that you can go on for years and years and years and be really unhealthy.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: You can be old and unhealthy for years and years and years.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: But my question to you is since he is in such a bad way.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I have said, you know, prior to Joe Biden dropping out last year, I thought, okay, if Trump gets in or if Biden gets in, I don't know if either one of them is going to last that four years.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I just didn't have faith that they would be around.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, with Donald Trump, if he goes, if he, you know, dies of natural causes in the midst of his term, it will be due.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: Are you doing air quotes with national?
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you know Putin.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: So it would be JD events.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a couple of different camps in what happens if we have the President JD events.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just going to say, too, maybe you have a third or fourth, I just want to see, we are take on this.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_00]: So there's the idea that if JD events gets in, he's so unpopular, yes, horrible things are going to happen, but it's going to remain that we've got this big resistance.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to kill it in the midterms or we're going to get, you know, twenty, twenty, whatever.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: providing that the elections are, I don't know, trustworthy.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then there's the other side of it where JD events is kind of going to calm down some of these independence who hate Donald Trump.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they just hate Donald Trump.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's like when Joe Biden ran in twenty twenty, there was all these never Trumpers.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, just can't fucking take him.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll vote for, you know, the centrist white guy.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: And the man, you know, he's the older man with the gray hair.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_00]: He looks like grandfather.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we're comfortable with.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to go with that.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: Or I'm not going to vote it all.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: So in the case of JD Vance, though, he's going to be backed by all the tech, techno, bro, crats, whatever.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: They've got their agenda.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: We know what it is.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: We know it's awful.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: Project, twenty twenty five, all of it.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going, you know, if he were to be the president before, you know, twenty twenty eight.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_00]: How do you think that works out?
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think it benefits democracy or do you think it's more of a threat?
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's awful.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's horrible and everything you're saying is true, but if he doesn't get the backing of the people if he's unlikable, which he is, you can't fix that and he'll have a problem is what I think.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go after the tech bro's harder.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: They are the big threat.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: I have a theory that when Trump's cognitive decline is real, he's a drug addict, his physical decline is real.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the sexual stuff is because of that.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: I just think he gets a kick out of showing how far he can go.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: He likes to show off.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: Just like Putin does.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: Putin showed off and what was it?
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: Seventeen, twenty, eighteen when he brought over all these Republicans, senators on Fourth of July.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: He was showing off to the world.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think Trump
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's the whole, I could stand on that the avenues shoot someone and I wouldn't lose supporters.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's that type of a thing.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: Trump is as deranged as he's always been, but yeah, cognitively, it physically, he's in bad shape.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the deal was that, this is me, Putin got him in in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in,
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: and then in twenty twenty it was harder to cheat because of the paper mailed in the outlets hence the because of the pandemic hence their panic at the end where they had loose to enjoy literally they were ripping mailboxes at a black neighborhood and heavily democratic neighborhoods to prevent people from getting to their mail and ballots and then they really panicked and were dismantling two million dollar piece mail sorting machines to try and do anything because those paper ballots were a problem
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: And then in twenty twenty four, they're like, okay, since we don't want that to happen again, so we're going to enlist Elon Musk's help.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: And Elon says, okay, what do I get out of it?
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: So Elon must, you know, the doge thing.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: He wants all the contracts and he wanted to dismantle the federal agencies investigating the crimes of his, of his companies.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: So he gets that.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: So he had to get something out of it.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: And again, all Putin wants as Ukraine.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: The only thing in his matter to Putin is Ukraine.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: In twenty sixteen at the R&C convention,
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: At the platform committee meetings, they have all these different committees that separate out, put together the Republican platform, the only platform item that the Trump campaign got involved in was Ukraine.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what the first time these guys took around it me when I wrote about it USA today.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: That really was, that was, they really went after me on that one.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: And that's then the FBI knew about that.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: That was part of a whole different story.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: That was, yeah, so that's a different story.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_01]: So the only thing that matters is Ukraine to Putin.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't care what he almost gets.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: There's certain things he needs Trump to do in order to be a dictator here so that he can deliver Ukraine.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_01]: I believe.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: that Trump is just golfing and hanging out and making all this money on his mean coins and all this, you know, pretend money where he's becoming a billionaire in oligarch himself.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: The deal was, you let the oligarchs get their way and Trump golfs and somehow Trump was not informed.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: did not know if anybody in our I.C.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Intel community knew about it.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't tell him rightfully so did not know about the planned drone strikes on Putin's attack planes that Zelensky had.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: It was brilliant.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: The whole thing cost forty seven thousand dollars on these drones.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: They were five hundred dollars a piece.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: How come, how come Trump didn't know about this when Ukraine owes us in Israel?
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that, you know, and it really harmed Putin's chances, I think that Putin was furious about that because Kimberly, right after that was when Elon Musk suddenly decided that he really truly cared about federal spending.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: He cared about federal spending.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: And so he launched this, that's when he started throwing Trump was on the abstinence line.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: and all of this sort of thing.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: So now Trump had a real problem because this was Elon Musk and Putin saying, we're done with you and we're gonna, you know, you're gonna be done and we're gonna get JD bands in there.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so this was their way of letting him know he had screwed up because he did not know because Zelensky outsmarted them.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_01]: He was right now to tell Trump he knew Trump was.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody knows what in the world knows it.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: Trump is, you know, that he's in Putin's pocket except people.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_01]: This country.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: and our media.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: So it was, there was that we saw that war going.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: People said, oh, she's two little girls and two egos.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, it was much more than that.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: Never think that's all it is with these guys.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: And remember, then there was some kind of a powwow.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_01]: And Elon Musk backs off and Trump immediately goes in and launches this attack in California, which is part of it.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was showing off to Putin.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I can do the job.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: Please don't fire me, boss.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: See, I can be a tough thing.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: Dictator, like you.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: So something happened, these these events are connected.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think they always had these things in the queue ready to go and they need them.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the timing of this attack on California.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that the tanks and DC had anything to do with that because they planned that before it might not have that might have been for a different purpose that didn't actually happen.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: But the California thing right after he and Elon made up it was it this all was just there are no coincidences With these people and this is what I do I connect dots.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I kind of take the strategy move it backwards.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's what this was about and I think the rest of the world knows which is why I could the G seven they're racing
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Zelensky putting him right in the spot.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're doing the rest of the world knows we are the ones who are stupid and our media is keeping us stupid.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, that was a long explanation, but that's what I do.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_01]: I connect the dots and that's what I think is was happening.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so the last question I have now, obviously I started the beginning of the show saying I feel a little more comfortable talking about politics.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_00]: There's two reasons.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, it's kind of like, I'm watching what's happening all the time, not sure.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure what to think anymore, but you know, part of this was I was concerned because I thought my mother might be leaving the country and if she did leave the country to go live somewhere else that, you know, if I wanted to visit her, I might have problems getting back home.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: So that was one of my issues for not knowing what to do with this podcast.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: It was certainly not the only one.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm slowly kind of coming back to the idea of the format that I've been used to and that everybody's used to just we're doing now talking about politics.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: But all that said, I mean, this is a specifically good question for you because you were one of those people that were targeted and you were absolutely living through some really frightening experiences in twenty sixteen.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: So now as a vocal resistor, how are you feeling about speaking up because we are seeing elected officials and reporters and journalists being arrested, being roughed up, examples being made of them.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: So how do you feel?
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: being so bad.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I've been going through this for over ten years, starting on October of twenty fifteen.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: And my story became so bizarre.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like I could tell people about it because it was like a bad John Grisham novel.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: The FBI did get involved.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then when Trump won, the investigation was closed.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I was convinced that we were getting ready for indictments.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: This was the hacking of my email.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there was one night when I was living in New York.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of the reasons I left New York was my dad was sick.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I get a late night call saying Trump has guys and queens.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: It might be on their way over to harm you.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: God.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's eleven thirty at night.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I have, um, yeah, I'm not a tin foil hat conspirator or anything.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: I just have more information than other people do and his first hand information, uh, just like what was going on like it Fox and and then Ms.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_01]: NBC and CNN.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_01]: I was there all the time.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: Over the course of seventeen years plus I was, you know, I was on those networks approximately two thousand times.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I just love it when people give me, you know, tell me what's going on at these networks and I just need to understand Fox.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's like I've been there a lot in these these studios in the New York studios.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_01]: I know these people.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very well aware.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_01]: of what happens.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it was frightening to me that one of fifteen primary candidates could pick up the phone and happy bound from both CNN and Fox.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: And also Joe Scarborough would not let the Cori Lundowski call in and defamed me and made a claim about me.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: That was false.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: Joe would not let me on the show to defend myself.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: Joe would not even read a statement saying, Sherry Jacobus disputes this, and I could prove it to you.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: I said, I have communication from these people trying to hear me.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: And they just flat out refused.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: And Joe and I have been friends.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: I had no Joan Scarborough since he was a freshman member of Congress.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's actually since before they got sworn in.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I used to be on his old show, Scarborough country.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I saw Chris Cuomo, who I was friendly with, used to do his show.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, when morning, you know, after I was on his early morning show, he's like, let's go get a plate of eggs because he wanted to pick my brain.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: He wanted my advice on how he could beat a morning Joe in the ratings.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: He was given up on on Fox and Francis, you've done all three networks.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, these people you've done, you've been around.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, this was the relationship I had with these people.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then what happened to me was just astonishing.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: And it almost didn't sound real.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it was hacked.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: I was catfished.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they hired somebody.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, the firm was Holland and Knight.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was Trump's firm in Miami.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then they were doing the
- 51:09[SPEAKER_01]: the transition up here, and a woman that I'd been in a beach house with, thirty years before, hadn't been in contact with.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: She does, she did crisis communications at these firms for rich people who were being famed, sued for defamation, or, you know, that sort of thing.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: And she lied to me and tried to get in touch, asked, I wanted to help me, and then pretend she didn't know that I was swimming.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: Trump, you know, all of this stuff.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: Then it became clear that she was operating on information from my hacked email.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't know that, but whoever gave her
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: gave that firm their instructions was using information from my hacked emails.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_01]: Same with JD Gordon on the Ukraine stuff with USA today.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like he got it from Michael Caputo.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: So Michael Caputo, Roger Stone, were involved in all of that.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so these were data points that the FBI had.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: There were three data points pointing to Trump people having my email hacked.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_01]: actually really for.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: And they were just doing this with the band and getting away with it and they didn't care and defaming and getting people kicked off TV.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: It used to be Kimberly that if a campaign were to make that kind of a call to a network, TV network, they would be like, hell no, and they'd be, they advertised that they said this campaign actually tried to tell us who we couldn't have on.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I knew early on that there was something very, very wrong when it came to Donald Trump.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: in the media and deals he had cut with people in New York all these years a law enforcement I mean he knew this guy was a thug he was a mobster and it was terrifying and I was afraid very afraid I felt like I was being watched and followed I knew I'd been hacked and I mean I there's a whole long list of things that happened and then
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now the rest of the country is going through it.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they'd listened to me.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: But here's the thing.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: I was a nobody.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't matter if it just happened to Sherry Jakobas.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Jake Tapper was told all about this.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_01]: We were kind of back for it.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't care.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: Only, you know, everybody, these people, you think are good guys.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of these people get in these positions in media by being not great people.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: They may seem really nice, but a lot of them are sell outs, users.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: and they know how to smile on camera.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of a dirty business.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: And we tend to fall in love with these people.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: And we shouldn't.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: And when you see how they sell out, when you look at somebody like a Megan Kelly, who I used to be friends with, who I liked, I thought she was smart, relatively normal and okay, certainly ambitious.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: Now I question a lot about her.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: When I watch the movie, Bob Shell, I'm not quite sure.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: She claims that she didn't do anything with Roger Ailes.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now that's true.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying she did.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I find it hard to believe now that we know what she really is.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's not something I can take at face value that, you know, these other women at Fox News could only make it if they suck Roger Eels dick if she didn't.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, right now, being vocal.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: I just went off on a lot of different issues.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, I've been through it.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I've been, I've been through it.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: So yes, now there is this whole new, it was different in his first term because they weren't disappearing people.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: They weren't, I mean, obviously they were doing other things, but they weren't doing it.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, like now as a vocal resistor, you've got a podcast, you've got obviously a big social media imprint or a fingerprint, whatever it's called.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: But do you feel okay?
- 54:38[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you're still doing it, so clearly you feel safe enough to keep doing it.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, how does it make you feel safe?
- 54:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't feel safe.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't feel safe.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was told recently by somebody, and this was second hand, somebody who was told this by the woman that happened to, who always went after Trump tangled with him in New York years ago.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: When Trump was elected, I think this time, and before he cleared out the FBI, she got a visit from the FBI, and they said, Trump has a kill list and a assassin list and you're on it.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_01]: They're telling you to be careful, basically, they couldn't help her.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm hearing this second hand.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: And so I believe it.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's a stretch at all for somebody like him.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why people have to stop acting like this is tinfoil hack and spheracy stuff.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, now if you know about it, I'm not if you remember all the stuff we did, you should assume that he does.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I assume that he would eventually get to me anyway.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: I still think that sunlight is a disinfectant.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: When you are being attacked, you don't run down a dark alley.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: You run out into a well at street and you start screaming.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I think we have to be very open about this stuff when it's happening.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_01]: So that actually when it does happen and somebody steps up, they don't say, oh, that's just tinfoil happen spiritually.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_01]: It should be well beyond that.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_01]: do I think that Ivana Trump died naturally falling down the stairs?
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_01]: The fall was unnatural and there were the two goons that father son long time years goons of Trump's effort.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_01]: Get their name, but they were at the townhouse right after that going in carrying stuff out.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think they've done a lot of dirty work for Trump.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: And it was right before her NDA was expiring.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think that does mean that everything you suspect or people claim is true.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_01]: No, but I think most of it is.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: And that's just the worst.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_00]: Always assume the worst.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, especially if there's no reason to doubt, I mean, it was something that's explaining something to you and the dots are connecting, you know, listen to it.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: And Trump counts on that not be in the case.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: He counts on everybody just being written off as a silly.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_01]: And that's because our media protected the public from a lot of this stuff.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_01]: But we do get played and that's why I say like with a Steve Bannon and a Tucker Carlson never think never believe that this is really that it's about what they're saying.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: There's always an underlying agenda just like with Trump.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_01]: There are no coincidences.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: Stop thinking that Elon Musk gives a rat's behind.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: About our budget and our spending and our debt and your Trump is
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: has increased our debt more than any other president, where that all presidents combined.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: Elon Musk does not care about that.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: So when Elon Musk, all of a sudden, launches this war against Trump right after Trump failed the real boss, Vladimir Putin.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's, it's important that we are, I guess, sophisticated enough and realistic enough to understand there's a connection.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_01]: We should be years past a point where we call this stuff tin foil hat because you have to prove it.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, you know, when the FBI doesn't have investigation, for example,
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: They have to go on some assumptions that makes sense.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: You look at the data.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_01]: You look at the data.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_01]: You look at their research.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_01]: You see what dots connect.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: You go down different paths to see what to see if you can keep going down that path.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so if you go down one path, you hit it brick wall because things don't make sense.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: You come up with information that says, well, this can't be true.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: But you don't not go down certain paths because in advance you decide that it just sounds too silly.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: Because when you're talking to the smart people who understand the stuff, they get it.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: They listen to you because they know it happens.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_01]: And the FBI agents in New York were well aware of Donald Trump.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_01]: They were telling me things like, if you let us know everything, we can't tell you everything.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: If there's going to be a grand jury, we can't tell you unless you might be called in front of it.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: We would let you know and they said, we will let you know if you or your family members are in danger if we come across because I was being targeted and fall asleep.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody, yeah, and they had my email and all kinds of stuff, and had an old friend from thirty years ago who's an absolute piece of garbage, pretending to reconnect, to try and confirm information from my hacked emails.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_01]: They had to do with my whereabouts because they were kind of going to try and do a venue change in the lawsuit.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, wasn't anything, the various, and the FBI had all this, and I knew that when they had gotten from her, because she's not a lawyer.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the other thing, and I'm just going to say this, because I need to be said, Michael Cohen would likely have been the person to give that law firm their instructions.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_01]: This was early on when Trump didn't have the big army.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, Michael Cohen served his time for one of his crimes, I guess, and it's only because Trump went after him.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_01]: But there's a whole lot that Michael Cohen has done to hurt a lot of people, including me.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I do not think of him as a hero.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_01]: I resent that he's been given a big platform and makes all this money and everybody treats him like he's one of us now.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's not.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: There is a lot that he's done a whole lot.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I know it and other people who have been Trump victims know it.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_01]: So the longer this era of Trump goes on, the more we get these situations where you have
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: people who are, you know, grifters and, you know, have different agendas and it's not all nice and neat and clean.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_01]: And we have to be careful.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: We have to be discerning.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_01]: And what I don't want is people coming to me saying, well, we forgive him because he did his time not to me, not to the other people he.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: And unless that's been made public and people understand that he did it and what he did, you know, he would have been the one that would have been taking information for my hacked emails and giving it to the law firm is saying, find out her whereabouts, you know, that type of thing.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_01]: And so, and that's just one of many.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: And there are other people who have contacted me privately, who the other stuff that he's done.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we still do that.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: We make heroes out of people that we think seem so nice and sincere and we need to be doing better.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we do.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many things that need to be cleaned up, and we're not going to clean it up all today, but you know, I mean, it's, um, we're in a really weird fucking uncomfortable place, and I do hope that I hope that
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_00]: What's happening right now, when we look at twenty eighteen and you know, we had a big turnout in the twenty eighteen elections.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I know on one of your videos you talked about it is harder to rig the midterm than it is a presidential race.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why they'll cancel them.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's why they're going to cancel them.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, I mean, I'm not so sure they're going to do it.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't put a pass them.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, where I'm open for anything, but we'll see what happens.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: But I think the benefit would be obviously we could we could really do some good in twenty twenty six if elections are held and if they are
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_00]: not suppressed to the point where people I mean because I think that the turnout is going to be bigger than it was in twenty eighteen and that was a general election uh... sized turnout so yeah on that note um... i got a wrap things up here but as per usual it's always good to talk to you and of course we uh... you know we always have to talk about sex in the city
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's the important stuff.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_00]: And just like that.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_00]: And just like that.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_00]: But your input is very valuable and always so interesting.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: And you do have that kind of special, you know, you have a unique take on this where you're not just somebody like me.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_00]: somebody like listening, you've had actual experience.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_00]: So it's always good.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_01]: I've been targeted.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you've been targeted.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: But so you're you're it's always good to hear your take on things.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_00]: So of course, as usual, tell us where to find you.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, on Twitter, on Blue Sky, and I have my podcast on Patreon, Politics with Sherry Jakobas, and a few months ago, I started a YouTube channel, which I hope you will all subscribe to.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's free, and it's called Politics with Sherry Jakobas as well.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_01]: I do videos almost on a daily basis, and it's growing, and it's fun, and nobody can tell me what to say, and that's the really good part.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I know all about that.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Sherry, it's just been great talking to you as usual, and I'm sure we're going to talk again.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_00]: So thanks for being on the show.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for having me.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_00]: Take care, bye bye.
