2 Minute Timeout: Auburn has been busy in the portal · The Auburn Undercover Podcast

Been a crazy first 10 days or so of the
• 0:04
transfer portal window uh for coach Alex
• 0:07
Gooish and the Auburn Tigers, but um
• 0:09
they've got a lot accomplished so far.
• 0:11
Um when you talk about adding they've
• 0:13
  added four quarterbacks, uh running
• 0:15
back, lots of wide receivers, bunch of
• 0:17
tight ends. Um and and so you look at
• 0:21
the need areas for this team and now you
• 0:23
shift to to the lines of scrimmage. Um
• 0:25
that's going to be the the focus for
• 0:27
them as they kind of finish things up.
• 0:29
um you know, added some some really
• 0:32
  important offensive linemen already. I
• 0:33
think they're they're still like to add
• 0:35
a few more there. And then obviously on
• 0:37
the defensive line as well added couple
• 0:38
of big additions um you know to the
• 0:41
interior defensive line an edge pass
• 0:43
rush type of guy as well. But you know
• 0:46
you look at at some of the keys for me
• 0:48
and and you know you look at at
• 0:50
obviously quarterback you lost an entire
• 0:52
room and you had Byron Brown and um you
• 0:54
know already know kind of what he can do
• 0:57
and who he is. But man u Christian Tia
• 1:01
is a guy that I really like. um the
• 1:03
  latest quarterback edition for Auburn
• 1:05
and um his game, his arm strength, all
• 1:08
the things he does. I think he's a guy
• 1:10
that'll be a really good addition and
• 1:12
you know, potentially a number two
• 1:13
quarterback for them. He played some
• 1:14
last year at Oregon State. So, um that's
• 1:17
  that's a strong addition, I think. And
• 1:18
so, now it's it's line of scrimmage. How
• 1:21
can you finish up the line of scrimmage
• 1:23
uh to add some really key pieces for
• 1:25
them heading into the spring? That's
• 1:26
going to ultimately determine um really
• 1:29
the success of this group. But um I
• 1:31
think they've done a pretty good job and
• 1:33
it's a crazy time. It's still not done.
• 1:35
And the thing to remember is they can
• 1:37
still you can still add guys even up
• 1:39
until July if you want to. This just
• 1:41
ends the entrance to the portal and you
• 1:43
could add guys that are still in there
• 1:45
for later. So still lots of things to
• 1:47
come for Alex Gish and the Auburn
• 1:48
Tigers. Go check out Bunkers of Auburn
• 1:50
  downtown. Um great food, awesome
• 1:53
atmosphere and tell them we sent you.
