- 0:13Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the Hawtgral Energy Podcast.
- 0:17I'm your host, Kaylie, and this is your weekly reminder that it's a
- 0:20new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day for
- 0:23you to become the hot Gral energy you want to attract. Hi, guys,
- 0:27Happy Tuesday. Oh my god, I'm out of breath just from saying
- 0:30my intro right now, Yeah, guys, Happy Tuesday, Welcome to a
- 0:35new week. I literally can't believe it's Halloween this weekend essentially, like everyone's
- 0:41doing their own little Halloween thing and it just blows my mind how fastball is
- 0:46going by. And literally Christmas is going to be the start of next week.
- 0:51I'm not even kidding, Like everyone's going to be posting Christmas content.
- 0:53I can just feel it as of November first, like it's just gonna be
- 0:57Christmas stuff. There's already Christmas stuff everywhere. But it just blows my mind.
- 1:00How Yeah, we're coming to an end of October already. And little
- 1:04life update because I feel like in the last episode we talked a lot about
- 1:07mental health, which I think is always a huge priority to talk about and
- 1:11just check in on yourself and all that, and this week, I really
- 1:15wanted to talk about the reality of being in your twenties because I think there's
- 1:19a lot of things that people think going into their twenties that doesn't actually come
- 1:26true or it's not the case at all. So I really want to be
- 1:29real about just some unrealistic things that you thought were going to happen in your
- 1:34twenties but actually didn't. And yeah, just being real about my own circumstances
- 1:41or just things that I see happen with my friends, or just the reality
- 1:44in general that people face being in your twenties. So I thought it'd be
- 1:48a fun little episode to talk about that. But before we get into this
- 1:52episode, I did want to do a little recap just on things that are
- 1:55going on with me, because I know you guys like to get little updates
- 1:57of just things that are going on in my life. So I'll keep it
- 2:00short and simple, but wedding stuff. Wedding stuff is probably the only thing
- 2:06that's been going on in my life right now. I feel like I haven't
- 2:08really been active on social media as I would like. I feel like I've
- 2:14been really good on TikTok, but like Instagram, I really haven't been posting
- 2:17much like stories and posts and all that. And I just feel like I've
- 2:21been so focused on just like finalizing things for our wedding, Like that's the
- 2:24biggest priority to me right, Like it's just making sure you know, the
- 2:28venue is locked in, the dates locked in all that. So there definitely
- 2:31is some huge updates that I'm so like, oh, I'm so happy about.
- 2:38Like just like a huge stress has been like lifted off my shoulders just
- 2:42from like making progress in the wedding. It's just a huge, huge,
- 2:46Yeah, weight lifted off my shoulders. That's what I meant to say,
- 2:49weight lifted off my shoulders, not the stress lifted off my shoulders, but
- 2:52same term. But yeah, no, definitely a huge weight lifted off my
- 2:55shoulders. Just finalizing some details. It's making me feel so much better going
- 3:00into this week, and I'm feeling so much more motivated to get work done.
- 3:04I just feel like last week I was really struggling mentally with just some
- 3:07wedding stuff going on and all that. But this week I'm feeling so much
- 3:12better about a lot of things. I also am planning a New York City
- 3:15trip with my sister and mom to go find my wedding dress, which I'm
- 3:21so excited about. I'm gonna be planning a dress appointment here in Ottawa first,
- 3:23just to do with like my bridesmaids, my fiance's mom, my mom
- 3:30my sister, maybe my grandmom, not sure yet, just to really figure
- 3:32out, like what style I like. Obviously I have like a certain image
- 3:37in mind of what dress I want. But you know when you have this
- 3:39mentality where you think you're gonna wear this dress, but then you try on
- 3:43different dresses and you end up going with something completely different, Like I don't
- 3:46know, it could be that type of circumstance, or it could be exactly
- 3:50what I pictured. So I thought it might be a good way to start
- 3:53figuring out, like what type of dress styles I like before going to New
- 3:57York. That way, I know what I I'm looking for, you know
- 4:00what I mean, Like what style I like, because this is obviously so
- 4:02many different dress styles that you can select, So I want to be like
- 4:08a bit more prepared. That way, when we go to New York,
- 4:11we know we're looking for all that. So hopefully that will be in the
- 4:14next like week or two, because we literally leave for New York in like
- 4:16two weeks, so we're planning a rushed trip. I feel like that's always
- 4:19a case. It's always like rush trips for us. But that's okay.
- 4:23It's kind of fun and spontaneous, which I like. So yeah, and
- 4:26then this weekend, as I said, it's Halloween weekend, I'm going to
- 4:30my best friend's birthday party. She throws a Halloween party every year just because
- 4:34her birthday's on October thirtieth, so she always does the weekend before Halloween,
- 4:40or if Halloween's on a weekend, she'll throw it that day. And it's
- 4:42always a costume party, and she's going really full out this year. She's
- 4:46getting a bartender. She's actually borrowing my bar from my engagement party, which
- 4:49is kind of funny, so that will be nice to get some use at
- 4:53her birthday party. And yeah, just like doing a bunch of like specialty
- 4:56cocktails. She's doing a casino theme in the basement where they'll be gambling and
- 5:02all that. So just kind of a really fun Halloween party that I'm really
- 5:06looking forward to. So Zach and I have our costume. It's so good.
- 5:11I really really love what we're doing. I think it's gonna be a
- 5:14really popular Halloween costume unfortunately, but we thought of it immediately whenever we wanted
- 5:19to do it. So yeah, so I'll make sure to post a TikTok
- 5:23of our costumes this weekend. But yeah, I love Halloween so much.
- 5:26It's one of my favorite holidays or whatever you want to call Halloween. But
- 5:30I love Halloween so much, like just being spooked and all that. So
- 5:34we're trying to go to this thing in Ottawa called Saunders Farm. It's essentially
- 5:40like a haunted house with like corn mazes and essentially you just go to get
- 5:44scared. I have a love hate relationship with getting scared, but I do
- 5:47find it fun, especially during the Halloween times. So yeah, we're gonna
- 5:51have some fun with that. So that's like my weekend plans things going on
- 5:55right now currently, But let's get into today's episode. I'm really excited to
- 5:59talk about the reality of just being in your twenties and just some things that
- 6:02you thought would happen in your twenties. Okay, the first thing when it
- 6:06comes to something that you thought what's going to happen in your twenties is feeling
- 6:11like an adult. I am twenty seven years old, and I still don't
- 6:15feel like a complete adult. I still call my parents for help with things.
- 6:19I still, you know, wish I kind of lived with my parents
- 6:23at times, just because you think of all like adult responsibilities that you have
- 6:27to do, like cleaning your house, booking a doctor's appointment, all that,
- 6:30and just like you just wish you could be a kid sometimes and just
- 6:34go back to not having so much responsibility. But at twenty seven, I
- 6:40still feel like I'm not a full adult. I still feel like I'm this
- 6:45kid that just doesn't have all the responsibility that I thought I would have at
- 6:49this point in my life. Like I thought I would be so much more
- 6:51prepared and so much more put together in a sense. In terms of being
- 6:56in your twenties, I think there's this stigma where when you're in high sto
- 7:00you think, as soon as you reach your twenties, you're gonna have your
- 7:01shit together, you're gonna be a full adult, You're gonna have responsibility with
- 7:05everything and all that. But I really feel like being in your twenties is
- 7:09really just a whole learning experience where there's just gonna be so many different experiences,
- 7:15if that makes sense right now, I see on TikTok. People talk
- 7:18about this all the time, where you think you're supposed to do everything at
- 7:23some point in your life. Like you feel like, Okay, you're supposed
- 7:26to have kids, you're supposed to get married, you're supposed to be engaged
- 7:30all before thirty, Like you're supposed to get all these things done. Another
- 7:32thing is you're supposed to figure out your career. You're supposed to figure out
- 7:35Okay, I need to be done school before I'm thirty and actually have my
- 7:40career in place. Like there's all these things that you feel like you need
- 7:44to get done in your twenties. I need to be in a serious relationship.
- 7:47I can't be single. Like there's so many things that people talk about
- 7:51that they feel like they have to get done in their twenties, and the
- 7:55reality is there is no timeline in life. No one can compare them to
- 8:00other people. There is so many people that are going through so many different
- 8:03stages in their life right now. Looking at my friend group specifically, we're
- 8:07all around the same age, whether we're twenty seven, twenty nine, or
- 8:11twenty four, Like there're some younger, there's some older. There are so
- 8:15many people in my friend group that are at completely different stages in their life.
- 8:18Some who are older than me that aren't in a relationship at all and
- 8:22aren't looking for a relationship currently and that's totally fine. Or there's complete opposite
- 8:28where I have friends that literally just finish getting married and now are pregnant and
- 8:31starting a family, And then there's people like who are twenty four who just
- 8:35started their teaching career. Like there's so many different stages, and I truly
- 8:41believe that everyone needs to realize that that's okay to be at a different stage
- 8:45in your life. My sister, she's still single. Me I've been in
- 8:48a serious relationship for ten years and I'm getting married. Like everybody is on
- 8:52their own path. And I think, no matter what, there should be
- 8:56no rush to start your life. People can start their life in their thirties,
- 8:58they can start their life in her forties. There's no timeline. I
- 9:03think it's really important to address that because I feel like people have this stigma
- 9:07of you know, feeling like an adult and being an adult, like you
- 9:09need to get all this shit done. Then the reality is no, you
- 9:13don't need to get all that shit done in your twenties. You are going
- 9:16on your own path. I truly believe in the what's meant to be is
- 9:20what's meant to be, So don't ever feel behind in your life. Just
- 9:24know that what's happening in your life is what's supposed to happen. There is
- 9:26a path that is being guided for you. That's kind of like the way
- 9:31I see my life personally. You also have to have that mindset as well.
- 9:33I feel like, but don't ever feel like you're not in the right
- 9:37timeline and that everything feels so far back and all that, and that you
- 9:43know you need to rush in order to get married, have kids, all
- 9:46that like, Please do not feel like that, and know that you're not
- 9:48the only one that feels like that. Everyone is going through the same thing.
- 9:52So more of the story is just don't feel like you're being left behind
- 9:56on life. Just know that you're on your own timeline and everyone is on
- 10:00their own path, and that you shouldn't compare yourself to other people, and
- 10:03know that what's meant to be will be. The Next thing when it comes
- 10:07to unrealistic things of being in your twenties is knowing what career you want in
- 10:11life. So kind of touched on this, but some of my friends who
- 10:15are twenty seven or twenty nine or twenty four, they still don't know what
- 10:18they want to do with their life. Some have quit their jobs completely and
- 10:22have decided just to take a break and you know, travel a bit,
- 10:26just to kind of, you know, enjoy some time off and enjoy some
- 10:28travels, and then you know, that might help them discover what they want
- 10:33to do, or it might help them determine if they want to go back
- 10:35to school or not and get a degree and a completely different career path that
- 10:39they thought for themselves. It is okay to go back to school in your
- 10:43late twenties or in your thirties if you generally don't know what you want to
- 10:46do with your life. There is no harm in going back to school.
- 10:50I know so many people that have either had a career for the first few
- 10:52years of their twenties and then realize, yeah, this is not what I
- 10:56want to do. I'm going to go back to school for two years,
- 10:58get my degree or masters or college diploma, anything like that, and something
- 11:03completely different, and that's the career they decided to choose. I know one
- 11:07of my best guy friends, you know, he thought he was going to
- 11:09take over his dad's company. He literally quit his job three weeks ago and
- 11:13now he's a full time firefighter. Like, it doesn't really matter if you
- 11:18don't know what you want to do with your life. You're allowed to change
- 11:20your mind. You're allowed to feel lost when it comes to picking a career
- 11:24for yourself. Again, it kind of goes back to the same topic about
- 11:26there is no timeline on your life. People can change, and I think
- 11:31it's very common for people to realize that. You know, sometimes you start
- 11:35out with a career thinking that that's going to be your career, and then
- 11:39you end up going with something completely different. Also, think about yourself as
- 11:41a kid. Think about like what you said to yourself, what that you
- 11:45were going to be. Like I remember when I was a kid, I
- 11:46said I was going to be a nurse. Absolutely not. I hate blood,
- 11:50I hate going to school. So I would have had to been schooling
- 11:54for like another eight years in order to get my you know, nursing degree
- 11:58and go to nursing school and all that and get into residence and anyways,
- 12:03just like not something that I was passionate about fully as I grew up.
- 12:07Like, you have this vision as a kid, and what you want to
- 12:09be, but you end up not even doing that at all. But sometimes
- 12:13you also have that vision in your twenties that you're going to be doing this
- 12:16career, and again you end up doing something completely different. So it's okay
- 12:20to feel lost when it comes to that and know that it's never too late
- 12:24to start a different career path. I personally think choosing your career path is
- 12:31really really important for your mental health. I personally think that if you don't
- 12:33wake up every single morning and you don't love what you do, then why
- 12:37are you doing it? I truly believe in that mentality. If you are
- 12:41literally miserable at your job, then I really think you need to reevaluate your
- 12:43career and really figure out, Okay, what are things that I love and
- 12:48what can I do with the career that allows me to do those things.
- 12:52I have always loved doing filming, doing editing, Like I think I've mentioned
- 12:56this before in the podcast, but I remember when I was in high school,
- 13:00well, I would literally like film videos on random trips with my parents,
- 13:03and I would edit the video and everything, and then I'd show my
- 13:05parents and my parents would be like, oh, you should post this on
- 13:07YouTube, And I'm like, oh my goodness, absolutely not, Like I
- 13:11just like to edit and I like to do that, right, So then
- 13:13my mom was always like, You're never going to make a career out of
- 13:16this, Like You're never going to make a career out of video editing or
- 13:18anything like that. And at one point I thought I was going to be
- 13:22like a director of movies in LA or like video editing for movies or anything
- 13:26like that, just because I had such a strong passion for creating video content.
- 13:31And then I realized that, you know, becoming an influencer as it
- 13:35became, you know, more of a popular career, that was a really
- 13:39good fit for me. And I genuinely do love my job, and I
- 13:41love what I do, and I love waking up every single morning being able
- 13:45to film and edit content every single day, Like that is something I truly
- 13:48love and I'm so grateful that I am doing that. But before all this,
- 13:54I was doing something completely different. I was managing projects like I was
- 13:56a project manager for a health and wellness company, which honestly, I wasn't
- 14:01in love with. I didn't wake up every single morning when I told my
- 14:03job, to be honest, like, I really didn't love what I did.
- 14:05I knew what I loved and I wanted to follow a goal and a
- 14:09career that I personally loved and influencing was something that I was really passionate about.
- 14:15So in my opinion, you should really reevaluate your job and see if
- 14:20it's something that you truly love, because I think at the end of the
- 14:22day, if you don't love it, then maybe it's time to change something
- 14:26up. But also know that if you feel lost right now and you don't
- 14:30know what to do, that is okay. You are not alone. There
- 14:33is a lot of other people, including my friends, including my family,
- 14:37that are very lost and don't really know what to take on for their next
- 14:41challenge right They don't know what to do with the next steps in their lives.
- 14:45So sometimes it's important to take a break and try something new. But
- 14:48know that not every job is perfect. Obviously every job is going to have
- 14:52their cons and that's just the reality of working. If we could all just
- 14:54not work and just have free money and be able to do whatever you want,
- 14:58I mean, that would be the goal in life. But obviously everyone
- 15:03has to have a job in order to live a glamorous life. Just the
- 15:07reality. But just know that it's okay to not know what you want to
- 15:11do with your life in your twenty news and sometimes it's okay to try new
- 15:13things and just yeah, take a break and try something new. Before we
- 15:18get into the rest of this episode, I want to say a huge thank
- 15:20you to our sponsor. I wanted to say a huge thank you to ag

- 17:00next unrealistic thing that people think in their twenties is feeling ready to get married
- 17:07and have kids. This one really affects a lot of people in my life
- 17:11right now in terms of just being at the age of twenty seven, Like,
- 17:15I feel like everyone again goes back to the stigma of feeling like they
- 17:19need to be married or engaged or thinking about starting a family and all that.
- 17:25And I just hate this stigma so much that people feel like they need
- 17:29to get all this done before they're thirty. I mean, I'm being honest,
- 17:33Like I personally feel like I see two of my friends who are pregnant
- 17:36and it makes me think, Okay, I need to start thinking about starting
- 17:38a family before I'm thirty. But Zach and I have obviously had the conversation.
- 17:41Obviously, we have a house, We're financially in a very good situation.
- 17:45You know, we are getting married, We're planning a wedding, like
- 17:49we've talked about, Okay, when do we want to start thinking about having
- 17:52kids? And I just personally feel like I'm never going to be ready for
- 17:56that. I don't know why. I feel like we knew, you know,
- 17:59going into a relationship after like seven years, six years, we knew
- 18:03that we wanted to get married. That was something we talked about. And
- 18:07I also think it's different when you're in a serious relationship, you know you
- 18:10want to take on that next step, right, But I feel like being
- 18:14in a relationship for ten years, almost eleven years now, and you know,
- 18:18like, as I said, we have a house, we're getting married,
- 18:19Like I still don't feel like I'm ready to start a family. And
- 18:23I think that's okay. I think that's normal to feel that way. I
- 18:26mean, seeing my best friend pregnant is like the most beautiful thing ever and
- 18:30I'm so so excited for her. And I want to be a mother,
- 18:33like I know that for a fact. I just like I'm waiting for that
- 18:38day, I guess for me to feel like I'm ready, but I don't
- 18:41know if we'll ever feel that way. And I think nobody's ready to be
- 18:45a mom in my opinion, Like some people might be, but I don't
- 18:48think there's any right time to be a mom, is what I'm trying to
- 18:51say. Like you can feel ready, but I don't think there's ever a
- 18:52right time for it to happen. Like I kind of just like want it
- 18:56to happen when it happens, you know what I mean, Like kind of
- 18:59like what meant to be, what's meant to be right, Like I don't
- 19:02really want to force anything, but who knows, maybe in a few years,
- 19:06I will have that feeling where I'm ready to start a family, but
- 19:08right now I'm definitely not. But there's definitely been a lot of conversations with
- 19:12like, obviously you guys and my parents about like you know, and then
- 19:18Zach's parents were like, oh, like what do you guys think about having
- 19:19kids and all that, and it just like stresses me out, and I'm
- 19:22like, guys, there's no timeline in life. Just let us go with
- 19:26the flow. Let us figure out this new era of us. I mean,
- 19:30like getting into the husband and wife moment and era. I feel like
- 19:36it's already a lot and obviously we're very excited about it and we're looking forward
- 19:40to it. But I'm just trying to take everything step by step. And
- 19:42I think that's important for everyone to take into their life is just don't rush
- 19:47anything, take everything step by step. I think everyone in their twenties just
- 19:51has this thought that you have to get married and you have to start a
- 19:53family in your twenties, and that's just not true. You can do whatever
- 19:57you want in your life. And as I said, everyone is at a
- 20:00different stage in their life and everyone is just trying to find their own path.
- 20:03So that's my take on that. I personally feel like, yeah,
- 20:08you should be able to do whatever you want. And sometimes, as I
- 20:11said, like, you might be twenty seven and you've never been in a
- 20:15serious relationship or you've never even been in a relationship at all, and that's
- 20:18okay, that's okay to be like that. There's nothing wrong with that.
- 20:22You are going at your own pace and you're going on your own path.
- 20:26So just remember that, because I know there's a lot of people that might
- 20:30be going through that currently, and I just wanted you to know that you're
- 20:33not alone and that it's okay to feel scared. Okay. Another one is
- 20:37you will feel less alone in your twenties. I feel like, no matter
- 20:41what age you are in your twenties, you were always going to feel lonely
- 20:45at some point, whether you're single right now, or you're becoming a new
- 20:49mom, or you can't get pregnant, or you're moving on your own or
- 20:53moving into a new city, or you don't know what your future holds,
- 20:59you're not having a big group of friends, or you're more of that kind
- 21:02of person where you enjoy your own company and you just want to be alone.
- 21:06I feel like we're always going to feel lost at some points in our
- 21:10life, and that's just kind of the reality. I feel like there is
- 21:14so much out of stress and anxiety when it comes to feeling lonely obviously,
- 21:18because you feel like you're the only one that feels that way, when the
- 21:22reality is, I think everybody feels alone in some way. As I said,
- 21:26so everyone's going to feel some sense of loneliness within their twenties. Specifically,
- 21:30I feel like because again going back to everyone's at a different stage in
- 21:34their life, and this includes myself, Like I feel alone sometimes and I
- 21:41think a lot of girls feel the same way. So yeah, you know
- 21:45what, it's okay to feel alone in your twenties. And the reality is
- 21:48is that being in your twenties is not easy. Sometimes people think that it
- 21:53is going to be, but it really isn't, no matter if you're in
- 21:56your early stages of your twenties or your late stages. Is just kind of
- 22:00the reality. But that's okay. We are all going to get through it
- 22:03and know that you're not alone. Okay. Another one is your whole life
- 22:08will be figured out, Absolutely freaking not. There is no truth in that
- 22:12at all. I feel like being in your twenties is such an obstacle.
- 22:18Course, there are so many highs and there are so many lows. There
- 22:21is a lot of great moments, but there's a lot of sad moments as
- 22:25well. But I think all the lows that you have experienced in your life,
- 22:30I really think you should take it as learning opportunities. How can you
- 22:34learn from this shitty situation? I think we can learn by telling ourselves how
- 22:40can we avoid this from happening in the future. I think it's just important
- 22:42to really evaluate these lows in your life that potentially really impacted you and how
- 22:48can you avoid this for the future. It's all about changing your perspective,
- 22:52changing your mindset. You guys know I always talk about trying to shift that
- 22:55mindset to a positive one, and yeah, I just think it's important to
- 23:00really take those lows and change the perspective into how can I learn from this,
- 23:03how can I avoid this in the future, and how can I turn
- 23:06this into a positive one. Just know that we're all figuring out our own
- 23:10life and things are going to come your way where you're just going to realize
- 23:12that, Okay, this is what's meant to happen, and this is what's
- 23:15meant to be, and you just kind of got to go with it,
- 23:18you know what I mean, You kind of go with the flow. That's
- 23:19the kind of way you gotta That is the mindset you've got to have in
- 23:22your twenties is just you have to go with the flow. I don't know
- 23:25how else to describe that, but I think that's like the best way to
- 23:27describe your twenties. And lastly is you will have the same friends since day
- 23:33one. Sometimes this can be true. I definitely have a few friends that
- 23:37I would say are still by my side, but there is a lot more
- 23:41friends that are not my friends anymore. Obviously, friendships come and go,
- 23:45and the real ones will always stay by you. Sometimes you grow apart,
- 23:48sometimes you move away. Sometimes you guys have different interests and that could be
- 23:53really hard to lose a close friend. I can think of a lot of
- 23:56close friends that I had through high school that I do not talk to at
- 24:00all. And you know, on like Facebook where you get those like Facebook
- 24:03memories and it's usually from high school and they're always so cringe. But anyways,
- 24:10a lot of those Facebook notifications are from like my core high school group
- 24:15and it's just like so weird to see those things, and I don't know
- 24:18how to feel about them, Like it's like, should I feel sad?
- 24:21Should I not? But at the same time, like I am happy with
- 24:25the friends that I have right now, and I am happy with where I
- 24:26am in my life. But it does feel weird to have a flashback of
- 24:30where you were ten years ago or eight years ago, like in high school,
- 24:34and just seeing that different side to you and different friend group and all
- 24:38that, and it's a weird feeling. Like I'm sure you guys can understand
- 24:41that, but know that the people that are in your life now are so
- 24:48so important to you and have made a really positive impact in your life.
- 24:52I think of also, making new friends in your twenties is not easy,
- 24:56and I think a lot of people struggle with that. I think I think
- 25:00social media can really be a huge benefit to that by finding new friends and
- 25:03just really like telling through social media that you might have a lot of similar
- 25:08interests to someone. It's really amazing how much social media can make you see
- 25:14the interest that some people have and how similar it is to you and really
- 25:18help you make a connection with someone. So I think that's really important to
- 25:21someone who is struggling to find a new friend. I really think social media
- 25:23is a huge benefit to finding friends that might have similar interest to you.
- 25:29But also another way of meeting new friends is going through another friend. Like
- 25:33I met a lot of my friends now through my best friend through a trip.
- 25:37She booked a trip for her twenty first birthday. We all went to
- 25:41Vegas or was a twenty second I think it was twenty second. We all
- 25:44went to Vegas, and she literally invited the most randommest people, Like,
- 25:47she did not pick any certain friend group. She's just like, Okay,
- 25:49I want to invite everyone that I love and just all come on this trip
- 25:52with me to celebrate my birthday. And a lot of the friendships that I
- 25:56made that trip are my good friends now. So it just shows that you
- 26:00can meet your friends at any point in your life, and some are going
- 26:03to come, some are going to go, and that's just kind of the
- 26:06reality of being in your twenties. And as I said, sometimes it's true
- 26:10that the same friends can stay by your side since day one, but know
- 26:12that the reality is is that some are going to not be a part of
- 26:17your life forever, and that's just kind of the reality. And know that
- 26:19the ones that are staying by your side are the ones that truly mean the
- 26:25most too, in my opinions. So that's my take on that when it
- 26:29comes to friendships. But yeah, those are some of the things that kind
- 26:33of just came through my head this week in terms of just unrealistic things that
- 26:36I thought would happen in your twenties. I think at the end of the
- 26:41day, we are all feeling the same way. I think. I think
- 26:44everybody feels lost, feels lonely. Sometimes sometimes people feel like they had their
- 26:49shit together and then you know, two years later they may not feel like
- 26:52they have their shit together. Like I think, being in your twenties is
- 26:56a rollercoaster. There's going to be different phases in your life where going to
- 27:00be so high and so good and then there's gonna be times where you feel
- 27:03so low and so lost. And that's just the reality. So anyways,
