Wife’s Killer Pleads Guilty Again | Wilmington News
A California woman, Yolanda Marodi, 54, has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the stabbing death of her wife, Rebecca Marodi, a respected 30-year veteran fire captain, found fatally stabbed at their home in February 2025. Yolanda, who previously pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the 2000 murder of her ex-husband, fled to Mexico after the killing before being extradited. Surveillance footage allegedly shows her chasing Rebecca as she fled. Colleagues mourn her as a dedicated mentor and public servant, while sentencing is set for September 2nd.
