- Gary: Today, we're talking about pride through Pharaoh's refusal to listen in Exodus chapter 10. Moses and Aaron bring Pharaoh a question from God. How long will he refuse to humble himself? They warn that locusts will devastate what remains after the hail. Even Pharaoh's own officials urge him to let the people go. They recognize that Egypt is already ruined. But Pharaoh keeps trying to dictate the terms. His people are suffering. His country is being devastated. And he still wants fucking control. Here's the question for us. When consequences of your choices become obvious, do you change or work harder to defend yourself? You can do it in your kitchen when your child tells you that your words hurt. You can do it in a relationship when someone raises concern and you immediately put them on trial.
