  Speaker 1: But I'm okay. I'll tell you who I am in

  Speaker 1: a little bit. You know, I get around. Man, it's
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: so much. But man, good morning everybody. You know today.

  Speaker 1: I was having a conversation with my wife last night
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: and we were talking about our plans. You know, we
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: often sit down, you know, just like a married couple.
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you know we're married. You know,
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: we have children, we have aspirations, we have hopes, well,
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: I mean know, we have things we want. You know,
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: when you're married, you know, I mean, it's important to
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: sit with your partner. I'm not telling you anything, you
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: don't know. It's common sense. Really, It's important to sit
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: down with the person that you've chosen and decided to
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: share your life with it and have multiple conversations on
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: a lot of things. And we try to make sure
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: that all of our conversations aren't always just business related
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: and always kid related, you know, because that that that
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: becomes it's a part of it. But it weighs so
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: much on the marriage that because that's the grunt work
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: of being married. You know, your children, your family, your bills,
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: your your mortgage, your your car notes, you know the
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: what's due, what's coming up, and if you're not careful,
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: you'll you'll start. That becomes the focal point of you
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: all's conversation. And this woman or man or person that
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: you've decided to have this life with, all of a sudden,
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: they're an extension of your business, and you guys become
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: business partners or whatever, and and just gets so anywhere.
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: I'm just saying that that is important to sit down
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: and have these conversations, but it's even more important to
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: have the other conversation. You know, it's important with the
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: person that you're planning on making the run with to
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: sit down and talk about other things, you know, on
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: a more upbeat note. You know, we were having a
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: conversation that she was reminding me of what she loved
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: about me, and then I, in turn was turned around
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: telling her the things that I admired about her and
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: loved about her. And we kind of have these all
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: the time, you know, when we sit down and we
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: talk about the things that we still enjoy about one another,
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: or we may talk about some of the things that
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: we miss in one another. But we constantly have these
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: conversations about appreciation. You know, it's so important, man, that
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: the other person feels appreciated. So these things important. But
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: we got into the conversation deeper last night, and I
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: was telling her about this idea that I had and
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: that I wanted her to help help me with and
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: make a phone call for me because she knows these people.
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: And I was going to be doing this, and then
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: my wife reminded me of something, not once again, you know,
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: as always, you know, when I'm talking to you, I
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: just keep it as real as I can. I don't
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: know the Bible inside out. I can't quote to you
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: scriptures and tell you exactly where it is. I just
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: you know, I heard her say it, but it kind
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: of blew by me. I was. I was telling her
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: about something I wanted to make happen, and she reminded
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: me that there's a scripture somewhere and somebody emailed it
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: to me today. I'm sure. Well, the Bible reminds us
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: not to be anxious for anything. Don't be anxious for something,
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: and you know it really mattered to me at that
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: point yesterday that she brought this to my attention, because
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: how many times I've been guilty of that in my
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: past and I've learned better now, but every now and
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: then I need to be reminded, you know, And I
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: think what that what she was saying to me was,
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: you know, I've gotten to a point in my life,
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: and we all should get to a point where. You know,
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: you've heard old people say this. If you're gonna pray
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: about something, then don't worry about it, And if you're
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: gonna worry about it, don't pray about it. Back to this,
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: be anxious for nothing, don't If you're going to trust
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: in God, didn't do that, And trusting in him means
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: sometimes you got to be patient. God has never been
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: too late. You don't know the plan he has, You
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: don't know. You don't really always know his will. You
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: definitely don't know his route, his way of doing anything.
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: So he's always on time. He's always been there on
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: time for me, He's always been there on time for you.
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: How many times have you thought it was over only
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: to find out it's really just begun. How many times
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: have people wrote you off there are those of you
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: who have lost jobs but you are still maintaining. But man,
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: God has already began to turn around process for many
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: of us. Some of us lost jobs and now have
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: better jobs. Some of us lost jobs and now has
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: forced us to rekindle that dream and that vision for
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: business we had. Sometimes the mishap is the thing you
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: need to make something good happen. See a lot of
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: times we get so comfortable in our life where we
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: just we get complacent, We just settled in and when
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: this is it and this is what I'm doing. But
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: in actuality, God has a tremendous amount of abundance for you.
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: He has an amazing amount of things. He has all
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: these boxes packaged up with your name on him that
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: he's willing to ship if you would just align yourself
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: with some of his wills so you could get some
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: of these things. How many times have you thought it
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: was over and it didn't really go over. How many
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: times have you thought, well, this is it and it
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: wasn't it at all? Well, how many times have you thought, well,
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: it don't look like this gonna work out, and it
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: didn't work out, but then something better came along. How
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: many times has that happened. You've got to realize this. Man.
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: I was talking to a family who had got displaced
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: from the Katrina thing that happened down there in New Orleans.
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: And man, when they said, yeah, we got a displaced
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: from Katrina, and I braced myself because, oh woe is me.
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: Here comes this story. I gotta hear this, and I
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: gotta be encouraged and think of something. It was totally different.
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: They totally totally blew me away. Man. The brother said, Man,
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: is actually the best thing that ever happened to my family.
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: And I went whoa And he said, yeah, man, he said,
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: because what happened was he said, I got settled in.
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: He said. Plus, I was doing some things outside of
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: my marriage down there, He said, I was doing some
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: stuff in the streets I ain't need to be doing.
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: He said, Man, it all got washed away. We thought
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: our life would never be the same. But he said, man,
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: my life ain't need to be the same. He said, Man.
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: Now we live up here in Texas. We got a house.
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: Don't know nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: know to get into trouble with. He said, Man, I
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: done rediscovered my wife. How beautiful she really is how
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: much my family really was counting on me, And he said, man,
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: it straightened me up. Man, he said, so, I gotta
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: you if you just let him work. So just stay
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: on course, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
