- 0:16of yourself you could ever imagine.
- 0:18Join Kim every morning from one of her favorite happy places,
- 0:21her chicken coop along with all her chickens.
- 0:28Hey everybody, good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:31So you might hear a hawk off in the distance.
- 0:33So the girls all ran underneath because they could hear a hawk
- 0:36off in the distance, which makes me laugh.
- 0:39I'm right here, but they still do their hiding thing and I'm
- 0:41really proud of them that they get that.
- 0:43Anyway, today we are speaking about the fact that.
- 0:49In this phase of the year, in this time of fall, when things
- 0:53start to really slow down in nature, it seems to slow down
- 0:58anyway. From to us it seems to slow
- 1:00down. We have to start looking at the
- 1:02the signs of nature to say what what am I supposed to be doing
- 1:06right now? What are the spoke about it the
- 1:08other day, the symbols that we can be looking at.
- 1:10So as the days become a little bit shorter and the nights
- 1:14become a little bit longer and cooler.
- 1:16And we're getting out blankets and sitting by fireplaces and
- 1:19things like that. It's time for introspection.
- 1:23It's time for looking at things that we maybe haven't looked at
- 1:27in a while or thought about things we maybe haven't thought
- 1:29about in a little while. And we need to change our
- 1:32patterns and start to dig in and say okay, What do I need to be
- 1:35introspective about? What do I want to be
- 1:38introspective about and really being honest about?
- 1:42You're where, you know, you want to head for the last part of the
- 1:45year. You know, we've got a few months
- 1:47left and some of us really want to be able to finish up strong.
- 1:51Others of us want to say, I've already done all my work and
- 1:54it's my time to sit back and harvest.
- 1:56They've worked really hard through the spring and the
- 2:00summer and now they're just like, OK, time to harvest and
- 2:02sit back and say OK, now I can just, you know, really revel in
- 2:07my winds and then move forward for the winter.
- 2:11It all depends on you, but you can't do it until you decide
- 2:14you're going to get very introspective.
- 2:16So I thought it would be helpful to understand some great
- 2:19exercises and some great questions around this because
- 2:23they'll lead you in the right direction.
- 2:25So first and foremost, it's always good there.
- 2:28There's a phase of debriefing, as I like to refer to it as if
- 2:32you debrief yourself at any point in time, you always get
- 2:35great information. So there's a pattern to it that
- 2:38usually is very helpful in most situations.
- 2:40And the first part of it is you know what was great?
- 2:44You. So you literally ask what was
- 2:46great, Not like, you know? How did we do?
- 2:49You're forcing yourself to look and say, I know I did great
- 2:53things, so let me ask myself what was great?
- 2:55And make a big list. Make a big list of all the
- 2:58things that were great because you have them.
- 3:00Trust me. And if you're sitting there
- 3:01going, I don't have anything that was great.
- 3:03I guarantee you, I don't care if it's just that you organized
- 3:05your damn sock drawer, It was great.
- 3:07You got it done. If you cleaned out a bin or a
- 3:12part of your garage, if you got rid of old clothes, all of those
- 3:15things are great because you're making headway for.
- 3:18New things. So that was great.
- 3:20The next phase of it is asking yourself, what could have been
- 3:24better? Not.
- 3:25What did I screw up? What did I do wrong?
- 3:28Make sure you understand what I'm saying.
- 3:30What could have been better. Yeah, there are always things
- 3:33that we screw up. There are always things that we
- 3:35could have done differently. It it, it's just that it's like,
- 3:39but what could have been better? It asks, and it assumes that
- 3:42you've got things really clearly.
- 3:45Stated in your head on the law of attraction because you know
- 3:49you want to attract good and better.
- 3:52So please ask the questions the right way and then you will
- 3:55find. Different answers than you would
- 3:58if you say, Oh well, what sucked?
- 4:00Now if you're sitting there and you say, hey Kim, I just really
- 4:03want to ask what sucked and I want to write it down, then go
- 4:06ahead and do it. As long as you don't stay in
- 4:09that headspace because that's what's bad about it, you can
- 4:12attract more of what sucked. So it's very protective, be very
- 4:17protective. I should say when you are doing
- 4:19this process, you don't want to stay in the wrong energy.
- 4:23Okay. And then the last question that
- 4:25you want to ask yourself is what can I do to close the gap
- 4:29between those two things? What was great?
- 4:32What could have been better? What can I do to close the gap
- 4:35or can I do to be different? What can I do to make sure I
- 4:38make a different outcome? Whatever it is, whatever it is,
- 4:42you can do it by asking that question.
- 4:45And again, notice it's a what question, not a how question,
- 4:49It's a what question. What can I do to to?
- 4:52Make a different And sometimes when you ask these questions,
- 4:56the first time you ask them, there's going to be a I don't
- 4:59know, I don't know, I don't know.
- 5:01I get that that's normal and you just have to go okay.
- 5:05I'll wait and I'll ask again in a little while and ask it again
- 5:07and ask it again and soon enough you will get an answer.
- 5:10And you can trick yourself in this pattern of saying, well, if
- 5:13you did know, what would it be? And sometimes that helps.
- 5:17Every little bit of being this thoughtful with it really clears
- 5:22up the fog in your head. So play the game, see what you
- 5:26can find out. Go into that state of
- 5:29introspection of it and asking the right questions and you'll
- 5:33be surprised at how great it comes around and helps you.
- 5:36All right, my friends, I hope you have a blessed day and I'll
- 5:38see you tomorrow. Bye.
