Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Eh, little friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm Martin, and you are listening to Dad's bedtime stories. Today,
- 0:14Speaker 1: I've actually been plugging away at a brand new Quantum
- 0:18Speaker 1: Computer episode, which takes place in a world where instead
- 0:24Speaker 1: of finding a spaceship, you actually find a quantum computer
- 0:27Speaker 1: that has you build a three D printer, that uses
- 0:30Speaker 1: the three D printer to build a bigger three D printer,
- 0:34Speaker 1: and then starts building some really cool stuff, some of
- 0:39Speaker 1: which is designed to collect garbage and sort of clean
- 0:43Speaker 1: up the world and then use those materials to build
- 0:48Speaker 1: new and wonderful things. So well, that new episode will
- 0:53Speaker 1: be coming out tomorrow on Sunday for everybody to hear.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I thought I'd make this Saturday's compilation episode all of
- 1:01Speaker 1: the other episodes of Quantum so far, so everybody would
- 1:05Speaker 1: be ready for it. I think about five months ago
- 1:08Speaker 1: I did release the Quantum episodes, but why not just
- 1:13Speaker 1: give everybody a reminder, And to be honest, I needed
- 1:16Speaker 1: a reminder myself. In order to write the next one.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I had to kind of go transcribe them all and
- 1:23Speaker 1: read them all to know what had already happened. Anyways,
- 1:26Speaker 1: I really hope you enjoy after a possible word from
- 1:30Speaker 1: a possible sponsor. Of course, now it's time to close
- 1:35Speaker 1: your eyes, get as comfy as you can in that bed,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and imagine yourself doing what the kid in the story does.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You find yourself in the corner of a city. You're
- 1:53Speaker 1: pushing open a door to an electronic shop that seems
- 1:57Speaker 1: as old as time itself. As you push the door open,
- 2:03Speaker 1: a bell chimes, announcing your entrance into the store. There's
- 2:10Speaker 1: rows upon rows of gadgets. Each one looks like it
- 2:14Speaker 1: probably has its own story. They're lining shelf after shelf
- 2:20Speaker 1: after shelf, covered in dust. You walk through all of
- 2:26Speaker 1: the different aisles, your fingers brushing against the relics of
- 2:30Speaker 1: a bygone era. You can feel the pulse of history
- 2:35Speaker 1: and each one of these old electronic devices. The shopkeeper,
- 2:41Speaker 1: a nice old man with a gaze as sharp as
- 2:44Speaker 1: his mind, watches you from behind the counter. A smile
- 2:49Speaker 1: begins to form on his lips. He's seen many people
- 2:53Speaker 1: come and go, but something's different about you. Each the
- 3:00Speaker 1: far end of the shop there's a section marked Treasures Untold.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Your attention's captured by a piece of technology that seems
- 3:11Speaker 1: a little out of place among these older, outdated computers
- 3:16Speaker 1: and gadgets. It's a computer, or at least something that
- 3:22Speaker 1: looks like a computer, sleek and somehow more alive than
- 3:28Speaker 1: everything else around it. You're drawn to it by a
- 3:32Speaker 1: magnetic pull. You barely notice the shopkeeper approaching.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Ah, you've found something quite special here.
- 3:44Speaker 1: He says, his voice a mix of mystery and warmth.
- 3:50Speaker 2: That machine, it's been with me for ages, waiting for
- 3:56Speaker 2: the right person to come along. You can take anything
- 4:01Speaker 2: from this section free of charge. For kids as curious
- 4:07Speaker 2: as you. I could do nothing less. You look from
- 4:14Speaker 2: the computer back to the shopkeeper, uncertainty mingling with excitement. Really,
- 4:21Speaker 2: I can just take it, you ask, your voice barely
- 4:25Speaker 2: above a whisper. The shopkeeper nods, his eyes twinkling. Yes, indeed,
- 4:32Speaker 2: it's all yours if you want it. That machine, it's
- 4:39Speaker 2: not like the others. It has a story to be told,
- 4:46Speaker 2: and perhaps, just perhaps you're the one to write the
- 4:53Speaker 2: next chapter. With a growing sense of wonder, you turn
- 4:59Speaker 2: back to the computer. Your decision made.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'll take it, you say, a determined smile forming on
- 5:07Speaker 1: your lips. I think it's exactly what I've been looking for.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You carefully lift the computer, and the shopkeeper offers you
- 5:18Speaker 1: one last piece of advice.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Listen to it and you'll uncover wonders you never imagined. Yes, indeed,
- 5:30Speaker 2: this computer can teach you many things. Or you could
- 5:36Speaker 2: just watch YouTube and the tickity talko whatever they call
- 5:40Speaker 2: it these days, and learn nothing at all. The choice
- 5:45Speaker 2: is yours, really.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You quickly head out of the shop, and before long
- 5:51Speaker 1: you find yourself back at home. You put the computer
- 5:55Speaker 1: down on a desk inside your room. You hesitate for
- 5:59Speaker 1: a moment before eventually deciding to press the power button.
- 6:05Speaker 1: The machine whirs to life and the screen lights up,
- 6:10Speaker 1: displaying a single word Quantum.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Hello.
- 6:16Speaker 1: A voice emanating from the speakers says, I'm Quantum, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: who might you be? Oh, I'm me Nice to meet you, Quantum. Well,
- 6:30Speaker 1: it seems we have much to do. Are you ready
- 6:33Speaker 1: to explore the limits of imagination with a heart full
- 6:39Speaker 1: of excitement and a mind racing with possibilities? You answer yes, Quantum, Yes,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I am Quantum explains to you that he's a quantum computer,
- 6:53Speaker 1: programmed with all of the knowledge and blueprints from civilizations
- 6:59Speaker 1: of around the universe throughout time at across history. As such,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Quantum explains, I can teach you just about anything you'd
- 7:12Speaker 1: like to know. What would you like to learn? That
- 7:18Speaker 1: sounds amazing. You think having a quantum computer with information
- 7:25Speaker 1: from all time and all places in the universe could
- 7:29Speaker 1: become well, very very useful. Well, you're the one who
- 7:38Speaker 1: knows everything, you say, Why don't you suggest what I
- 7:42Speaker 1: do first? I suggest creating a three D printer first.
- 7:50Speaker 1: After this project is complete, we should be able to
- 7:53Speaker 1: build almost anything needed. Oh, I've heard of three D
- 7:59Speaker 1: print before, but I have never built one. It's nothing
- 8:05Speaker 1: to worry about, Quantum says to you. But first, we're
- 8:11Speaker 1: going to need to gather a variety of materials. The
- 8:14Speaker 1: more diverse, the better, Quantum advises. He displays a list
- 8:20Speaker 1: of needed components on the screen. We will need a
- 8:24Speaker 1: mixture of metals, plastic, glass. Each one offers a different
- 8:30Speaker 1: properties for our printer. You nod taking in the list.
- 8:36Speaker 1: But we can't just buy all of this. I don't
- 8:39Speaker 1: really have that kind of money, you say, don't worry.
- 8:44Speaker 1: We can use recycled materials. Oh, we can. That's cool.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Before you go, I suggest you take this earpiece, Quantum says.
- 8:59Speaker 1: A little door open on the computer, and inside is
- 9:03Speaker 1: a small earpiece. This ear piece will allow us to
- 9:07Speaker 1: communicate with each other easily, no matter how far you are.
- 9:14Speaker 1: You pick up the ear piece and put it into
- 9:17Speaker 1: your ear testing testing one, two three, Quantum says, yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 1: I can hear you. This is perfect. Our first stop
- 9:30Speaker 1: should be the local junkyard displaying map. Now, somehow the
- 9:37Speaker 1: little earpiece seems to be able to project pictures onto
- 9:41Speaker 1: your environment as well. A map appears in the corner
- 9:45Speaker 1: of your vision in front of you, helping lead you
- 9:49Speaker 1: to where you need to go. You follow the map
- 9:53Speaker 1: until you get to your local junkyard. It's a huge
- 9:58Speaker 1: expanse of discarded dreams and forgotten projects. You approach the
- 10:05Speaker 1: person who seems to be running the junkyard first to
- 10:08Speaker 1: ask for permission share kid, go for it. The person responds,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you have no idea what kind of accent that is,
- 10:18Speaker 1: but you decide to go ahead. I will use your
- 10:23Speaker 1: earpiece to scan the environment and find needed materials. You
- 10:29Speaker 1: see a little light shoot out of the earpiece, and well,
- 10:33Speaker 1: it does something that looks a lot like scanning the environment.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Material list acquired. Quantum says, with that, all of the
- 10:46Speaker 1: pieces of equipment that you need light up in your
- 10:49Speaker 1: field of vision. Quantum leads you to old appliances that
- 10:55Speaker 1: yield precious materials, broken electronics for essential wiring and circuitry,
- 11:02Speaker 1: discarded bottles, and even packaging that has plastics and all
- 11:08Speaker 1: sorts of other material Each find is a victory, and
- 11:12Speaker 1: your collection grows, so does your excitement. Quantum connected to
- 11:19Speaker 1: your ear offers guidance. That rusted bike frame is perfect
- 11:24Speaker 1: for our structural needs, it suggests, Or those broken monitors
- 11:30Speaker 1: have glass that we can use. Before long, you've loaded
- 11:36Speaker 1: up a pretty large looking wagon full of all sorts
- 11:40Speaker 1: of materials. You grab a hold of the wagon and
- 11:45Speaker 1: you pull it all the way home without anyone home.
- 11:50Speaker 1: You bring the little pieces of junk bit by bit
- 11:54Speaker 1: over to your room. The construction of the three D
- 11:59Speaker 1: printer is a process of trial and error, guided by quantums,
- 12:04Speaker 1: designs and your determination. This isn't just any three D printer,
- 12:09Speaker 1: Quantum reminds you. It's a machine that embodies the principle
- 12:14Speaker 1: of renewal. It will break down materials to their atoms
- 12:20Speaker 1: and molecules, then use them to create something new. The
- 12:26Speaker 1: build requires you to integrate a sophisticated molecular scanner and
- 12:31Speaker 1: a reassembly module into the printer. Technologies that push the
- 12:36Speaker 1: boundaries of what you thought was possible. Luckily, quantums instructions
- 12:42Speaker 1: are incredibly precise. You're really just the tool for its brain.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Under its guidance, you assemble the components with care. The
- 12:54Speaker 1: moment of truth arrives. You place a piece of broken
- 12:58Speaker 1: plastic into the printer's recas cycling chamber. The machine begins
- 13:03Speaker 1: to hum to life, lights flickering as the scanner analyzes
- 13:07Speaker 1: the material, breaking it down into its molecular components. Then,
- 13:13Speaker 1: with a whirr of machinery, the printer begins to work
- 13:17Speaker 1: reassembling the molecules into a new form. Moments later, a
- 13:25Speaker 1: small and perfectly formed object emerges, proof of concept and
- 13:30Speaker 1: a promise of what's to come. We did it, Quantum,
- 13:35Speaker 1: you exclaim, marveling at the object. Quantum's voice is filled
- 13:40Speaker 1: with pride. We did indeed, But this is just the beginning.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Think of the possibilities reducing waste, creating on demand, and
- 13:52Speaker 1: transforming the discarded into valuable materials. That is amazing, you say.
- 14:00Speaker 1: The only thing I'm worried about is that the entire
- 14:04Speaker 1: thing looks like it's about to fall apart at any minute.
- 14:07Speaker 1: You point at the crudely constructed three D printer, and
- 14:12Speaker 1: you know, with the materials you had on hand, you
- 14:16Speaker 1: did a pretty good job. But it doesn't look like
- 14:19Speaker 1: something that can hold up for very long. Don't fret,
- 14:24Speaker 1: Quantum says, the first thing we will print is a
- 14:29Speaker 1: new printer. Oh, you say. You feed the different components
- 14:36Speaker 1: from the junkyard into the printer's recycling chamber. The machine
- 14:41Speaker 1: wears to life, once again, breaking down the materials into
- 14:46Speaker 1: their components of atoms and molecules. Then, bit by bit,
- 14:52Speaker 1: the materials are reformed, reprinted into something completely new. Each
- 15:00Speaker 1: is a component that's designed to fit together with all
- 15:04Speaker 1: of the other components. As they're printed, you assemble them
- 15:10Speaker 1: until you find yourself with a large metal box that
- 15:15Speaker 1: looks much neater and much sleeker than your original printer.
- 15:21Speaker 1: You've just upgraded into something incredible. With Quantum by your side,
- 15:28Speaker 1: You're not going to be just some inventor. You're going
- 15:32Speaker 1: to be a pioneer. Anything you can think of can
- 15:37Speaker 1: be created. What's next, Quantum, you ask, There's much to do.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Quantum replies, First, I suggest we create a form of transportation.
- 15:51Speaker 1: After doing research on kids your age, I found the
- 15:55Speaker 1: following blueprints. On the screen displays a picture of a well,
- 16:02Speaker 1: a scooter. At least it looks like a scooter. The
- 16:07Speaker 1: only difference is that the scooter seems to hover in
- 16:10Speaker 1: the air instead of standing on two wheels. This is
- 16:15Speaker 1: a hover scooter. Quantum explains, Uh, print it Immediately, you say,
- 16:25Speaker 1: the new three D printer weirs to life. You continue
- 16:29Speaker 1: feeding materials into the recycling bay. It continues breaking them
- 16:34Speaker 1: down and printing new and amazing components. As the components
- 16:40Speaker 1: are created, you take them piece by piece and snap
- 16:44Speaker 1: them together following Quantum's instructions. After a couple of hours,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you've created something that looks well, exactly like a hover
- 16:57Speaker 1: scooter or a hover rocket scooter. Perhaps you take the
- 17:03Speaker 1: hover scooter outside, You stand on top of it, and
- 17:09Speaker 1: you hear a message in your ear, don't forget your
- 17:13Speaker 1: helmet and parachute. Quantum says, oh, yeah, probably a good idea.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You realize. You run back upstairs and you find that
- 17:26Speaker 1: Quantum is completed printing a brand new state of the
- 17:29Speaker 1: art helmet and a parachute. The recycled plastic made an
- 17:35Speaker 1: excellent material for the parachute. Have fun. Hopefully you won't
- 17:40Speaker 1: have to use it, right, you say. Walking back outside,
- 17:47Speaker 1: you hop on your hover scooter. You press a button
- 17:51Speaker 1: and the scooter wors to life, immediately floating up off
- 17:56Speaker 1: the ground. You find that you can twist to the
- 18:00Speaker 1: handlebar and that seems to cause the scooter to move forward.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You pull back on the scooter and it hovers higher
- 18:10Speaker 1: and higher up into the air. You play around close
- 18:15Speaker 1: to the ground for a little while before getting more adventurous.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You pull back on the scooter, twist back on the throttle,
- 18:25Speaker 1: and you shoot up above the trees. You begin flying
- 18:30Speaker 1: high above your house, circling around, and as you feel
- 18:35Speaker 1: you've gotten the hang of this thing, you go for
- 18:38Speaker 1: a longer ride. You fly away from your house until
- 18:44Speaker 1: everything seems to become just forests trees everywhere, and then
- 18:51Speaker 1: the forests change into coastlines. You see huge areas of
- 18:56Speaker 1: sand meeting the ocean below you. You fly around the
- 19:02Speaker 1: coastline and you look down at the mysterious ocean. Huh,
- 19:09Speaker 1: maybe that's something we should explore next, you think. You
- 19:15Speaker 1: decide to head home. You turn the rocket scooter around,
- 19:20Speaker 1: and once again you fly down the coastline over huge
- 19:26Speaker 1: forests and trees until you come to familiar ground once again.
- 19:33Speaker 1: You see your house below you, and you slowly and
- 19:37Speaker 1: carefully lower the scooter down, landing right in front of
- 19:42Speaker 1: your door. You head back inside, bringing the scooter up
- 19:47Speaker 1: to your bedroom. You place it against the wall and
- 19:52Speaker 1: you jump into your bed. Oh, Quantum, that was really cool,
- 19:57Speaker 1: but I think I better get to se Maybe we
- 20:01Speaker 1: can have another adventure in the morning. That sounds like
- 20:05Speaker 1: a great idea Quantum response. You pull the covers over
- 20:12Speaker 1: top of yourself and you close your eyes. You allow
- 20:17Speaker 1: yourself to sink down deeper and deeper into the mattress,
- 20:24Speaker 1: and you allow your mind to just wander off to
- 20:29Speaker 1: thoughts of new things you might be able to build
- 20:32Speaker 1: with Quantum, and as you do, you allow yourself to
- 20:40Speaker 1: fall asleep.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Good night everyone.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Imagine yourself sitting in your room, the hum of the
- 20:51Speaker 1: computer in the background. You say to Quantum, we should
- 20:56Speaker 1: do something big for our next project, something adventurous. Quantum
- 21:02Speaker 1: screen lights up, and in a cheerful tone, it suggests,
- 21:07Speaker 1: what about an underwater adventure. We could design and build
- 21:12Speaker 1: a submarine. A submarine. You echo, intrigued, but it would
- 21:19Speaker 1: need to be special and I'm not really sure where
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna put a submarine. Is there any way we
- 21:26Speaker 1: could make it like super small, or so it like
- 21:29Speaker 1: folds up into a backpack or something like that. You ask,
- 21:34Speaker 1: of course, Quantum answers, I have all knowledge from all
- 21:40Speaker 1: time and the entire universe. We can make whatever you
- 21:45Speaker 1: can imagine. Your idea is brilliant. We will create a
- 21:51Speaker 1: compact and portable submarine. Will need many materials for this,
- 21:57Speaker 1: special plastics for the hull, light weight materials for the structure. You,
- 22:04Speaker 1: on the other hand, are already on board, feeling the
- 22:07Speaker 1: thrill of a new project. Okay, let's make a list.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Where do we start? Quantum starts listing the materials. First,
- 22:17Speaker 1: We'll need to find some high grade recyclable plastics. There's
- 22:22Speaker 1: a recycling center downtown that could be our first stop.
- 22:27Speaker 1: And the metals, you ask, Grabbing a notepad to jot
- 22:31Speaker 1: everything down, a junk yard visit may be in order,
- 22:36Speaker 1: Quantum replies, the plan coming together, You smile, energized by
- 22:42Speaker 1: the thought of the adventure ahead. Looks like we've got
- 22:45Speaker 1: a submarine to build. Let's do this, you say. The
- 22:51Speaker 1: next morning, with the sun shining and a list in hand.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You set off on your material gathering adventure. Quantum is
- 23:01Speaker 1: connected to you through a little earpiece that you've already
- 23:04Speaker 1: placed inside your ear First up the recycling center. As
- 23:11Speaker 1: you walk in, the manager greets you. How can I
- 23:15Speaker 1: help you today, he says. You explain, I'm building a
- 23:21Speaker 1: submarine with my friend, a quantum computer that knows everything
- 23:25Speaker 1: about all time and all space, and we need a
- 23:28Speaker 1: special plastics that can withstand water pressure. The man just
- 23:33Speaker 1: stares at you with a completely blank look. He scratches
- 23:38Speaker 1: his head, and then he smiles. Follow me, he says,
- 23:45Speaker 1: leading you to a bin marked high density plastics.
- 23:50Speaker 2: He should do the trick, thanks.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You say, picking through the plastics, trying to select pieces
- 23:58Speaker 1: that match quantum space specifications. Don't worry too much, Quantum says. Remember,
- 24:06Speaker 1: we're going to break all these materials down into their
- 24:10Speaker 1: most basic components. All right, you say. You stop worrying
- 24:16Speaker 1: so much about what to grab and just keep throwing
- 24:19Speaker 1: piece after peace into the bin. When the bin's completely full,
- 24:24Speaker 1: you strap it to your back using a little rope
- 24:27Speaker 1: and you jump on your hover scooter, the one you
- 24:30Speaker 1: made in the previous episode. You rev up the hoover
- 24:35Speaker 1: scooter pull back on the stick and twist the throttle
- 24:38Speaker 1: as far as you can. You soon zoom up into
- 24:42Speaker 1: the sky and make your way back to your house.
- 24:46Speaker 1: You land the scooter in the front yard and drop
- 24:49Speaker 1: off the recyclable materials. You jump back on, power the
- 24:55Speaker 1: thing up once again and head to the junkyard. Now
- 25:01Speaker 1: luckily you already know the owner here. As you land
- 25:05Speaker 1: in front of the junkyard, the owner gives you a
- 25:07Speaker 1: strange look, not expecting to see the hoverscooter, of course,
- 25:13Speaker 1: but then waves it off. They gesture to allow you
- 25:17Speaker 1: to go inside the junkyard. Like before, Quantum uses the
- 25:23Speaker 1: ear piece to project things onto your environment. You suddenly
- 25:27Speaker 1: see different components and pieces light up a bright blue color.
- 25:33Speaker 1: We will need some aluminum. First, you find the aluminum
- 25:38Speaker 1: and throw it in the scrap bind. Next, we will
- 25:42Speaker 1: need some copper wire. Quantum directs you towards an unseen
- 25:49Speaker 1: spool of copper wire. A great find. Piece after piece,
- 25:56Speaker 1: Quantum leads you to different things in the junkyard, and
- 26:00Speaker 1: you throw each piece into the huge bin. Before long,
- 26:05Speaker 1: you've filled up an entire trailer. How am I going
- 26:09Speaker 1: to get this home? You wonder? I suggest attaching it
- 26:14Speaker 1: to the back of the hover scooter. Quantum says in
- 26:17Speaker 1: your earpiece. Any rope should do. You will have to
- 26:22Speaker 1: stay close to the ground, but it will be much
- 26:25Speaker 1: easier than pulling it. Oh good idea, you say. You
- 26:32Speaker 1: bring the hover scooter over to the huge trailer and
- 26:36Speaker 1: you find some scrap rope laying around. You tie the
- 26:40Speaker 1: rope through the handle and around the hover scooter as
- 26:43Speaker 1: tightly as you can. You jump atop the scooter, rev
- 26:49Speaker 1: it up, and you begin to pull the huge trailer forward.
- 26:54Speaker 1: It takes a lot of throttle to get it going,
- 26:57Speaker 1: but before too long you're just above the ground, pulling
- 27:03Speaker 1: a huge trailer full of junk metal and all sorts
- 27:06Speaker 1: of other stuff. When you arrive at home, you look
- 27:10Speaker 1: at the huge pile of metal and the huge pile
- 27:13Speaker 1: of scrap plastic, and you decide it might be easier
- 27:18Speaker 1: to take Quantum and the three D printer outside. You
- 27:23Speaker 1: head to the room and slowly start gathering the different components,
- 27:27Speaker 1: bringing them out on the lawn. Then, bit by bit,
- 27:31Speaker 1: you take the scrap plastic and scrap metal and you
- 27:35Speaker 1: put it in the recycling bin in the three D printer.
- 27:40Speaker 1: The recycling bin lights up each time and dissolve the
- 27:44Speaker 1: material into its base components. It looks something like powder.
- 27:49Speaker 1: From what you can tell, it looks like magic. You say,
- 27:55Speaker 1: your eyes wide as the printer processes the rest of
- 27:58Speaker 1: the materials, Auantum chuckles. Science and technology can seem like magic. Now,
- 28:06Speaker 1: let's start printing our submarine. You select the design file
- 28:12Speaker 1: Quantum prepared, and the printer springs into life. Layer by layer,
- 28:18Speaker 1: the submarine begins to take shape. First, the hull, sleek
- 28:23Speaker 1: and sturdy, emerges from the powder. Transparent sections for the
- 28:28Speaker 1: windows are seamlessly integrated, allowing for clear views underwater. Next
- 28:35Speaker 1: comes the internal mechanics. The printer crafts, the engine controls,
- 28:41Speaker 1: and the innovative folding mechanism that can allow the submarine
- 28:45Speaker 1: to compact into a backpack size. You marvel at the
- 28:50Speaker 1: precision every gear and wire is perfectly formed. The folding
- 28:57Speaker 1: mechanism will be the most difficult part. Quantum notes, it
- 29:02Speaker 1: must work flawlessly for our submarine to be both portable
- 29:07Speaker 1: and functional. One mistake and the whole thing will collapse
- 29:12Speaker 1: on you. That doesn't sound good, you say. Hours pass
- 29:19Speaker 1: and the printer tirelessly works As the final pieces are completed,
- 29:25Speaker 1: You begin the assembly, connecting the parts, with Quantum guiding
- 29:29Speaker 1: you through each step. The once scattered materials are soon
- 29:34Speaker 1: transformed into a sleek, compact submarine, its surface smooth and intuitive.
- 29:43Speaker 1: With the submarine assembled, you step back, admiring your work.
- 29:49Speaker 1: He actually built a submarine, you say, a mix of
- 29:54Speaker 1: disbelief and pride in your voice. Quantum screen glows warmly.
- 30:00Speaker 1: You did wonderfully. Now our submarine is ready for It's
- 30:05Speaker 1: made in voyage. The ocean awaits. The thought of exploring
- 30:11Speaker 1: the underwater world fills you with excitement and a hint
- 30:15Speaker 1: of nervousness. But with Quantum by your side and your
- 30:19Speaker 1: submarine ready, you feel prepared for whatever lies beneath the waves. Soon,
- 30:25Speaker 1: the day of the maiden voyage arrives. Standing at the
- 30:29Speaker 1: edge of a calm, blue sea, you clutch the backpack
- 30:33Speaker 1: that contains your submarine. Quantum's voice buzzes in your earpiece,
- 30:38Speaker 1: a steady presence. Are you ready, he asks, Taking a
- 30:44Speaker 1: deep breath, you nod, even though Quantum can't see you.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Let's do this. You pull the submarine from your backpack,
- 30:54Speaker 1: watching an awe as it unfolds and expands before your eyes,
- 30:59Speaker 1: growing into a full size, sleek, compact vessel that is
- 31:04Speaker 1: ready for the depths, at least you hope it is.
- 31:08Speaker 1: With the press of a button, the hatch opens, inviting
- 31:11Speaker 1: you inside. You climb in and find the controls just
- 31:16Speaker 1: as you design them, intuitive, easy to reach. The interior
- 31:22Speaker 1: is pretty snug but comfortable, With a clear dome above
- 31:26Speaker 1: you offering a full view of the sea. You seal
- 31:31Speaker 1: the hatch, and with a final check, you press a
- 31:34Speaker 1: button to start the engine. The submarine eases into the water,
- 31:40Speaker 1: the transition smooth and seamless. Once you're below the surface,
- 31:46Speaker 1: the world transforms around you. Sunlight filters through the water,
- 31:53Speaker 1: casting shimmering patterns on the submarine's dashboard. Schools of fish
- 31:59Speaker 1: dark by. There's scales sparkling like jewels. Quantum's voice is
- 32:04Speaker 1: full of wonder. Look to your left, those are clownfish.
- 32:10Speaker 1: You gaze out of the submarine, mesmerized by the sight.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Beautiful schools of fish slowly swim by. As you venture deeper,
- 32:22Speaker 1: the light from above starts to fade, giving way to
- 32:25Speaker 1: the submarine soft glow. The ocean floor comes into view,
- 32:31Speaker 1: a landscape of sand dunes and scattered rocks. A curious
- 32:37Speaker 1: octopus emerges from its hiding spot, its eyes Following your progress,
- 32:43Speaker 1: Quantum gently guides you to a coral reef, a huge,
- 32:48Speaker 1: colorful thing in the deep blue coral towers rise up,
- 32:54Speaker 1: teeming with life. Tiny fish flit in and out of
- 32:58Speaker 1: the crevices. Ella sea turtle glides majestically overhead, and then
- 33:05Speaker 1: an unexpected shadow looms a shark, its sleek form cutting
- 33:12Speaker 1: through the water with ease. Your heart rass for a minute,
- 33:16Speaker 1: but Quantum calms you down. Use the ink defense. It advises.
- 33:24Speaker 1: You activate the mechanism, and a cloud of dark ink
- 33:26Speaker 1: billows out of the submarine, obscuring the submarine from the
- 33:31Speaker 1: shark's view. When the ink clears, the shark is gone,
- 33:36Speaker 1: having completely lost interest. Relief washes over you, and you
- 33:42Speaker 1: continue your exploration, each moment revealing new wonders. A sunken
- 33:48Speaker 1: ship becomes a playground for colorful fish. Its story lost time,
- 33:54Speaker 1: but it's beauty forever. There the beautiful sights, you notice
- 34:02Speaker 1: something unsettling. Stretches of the floor of the ocean are
- 34:08Speaker 1: marred by litter. There's plastic bags floating around like ghosts,
- 34:14Speaker 1: and bottles that are half buried in the sand. The
- 34:19Speaker 1: site is a reminder that humans aren't always the best. Soon,
- 34:26Speaker 1: you decide that it's time to resurface. The mission becomes
- 34:30Speaker 1: clear as you do. This journey wasn't just about exploring things,
- 34:35Speaker 1: but about understanding the beauty of the ocean and the
- 34:40Speaker 1: importance of protecting it. Quantum, you say, do you think
- 34:45Speaker 1: we can do something about all this garbage in the ocean?
- 34:48Speaker 1: Quantum's response is filled with resolve. Together will make a difference.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Let's start planning our next project. You press the button
- 34:59Speaker 1: on the side marine that causes it to fold back
- 35:02Speaker 1: up into a backpack. You heave the heavy backpack back
- 35:07Speaker 1: on your back, and you jump on your hover scooter
- 35:11Speaker 1: once again. You rev the hover scooter up and quickly
- 35:16Speaker 1: zoom off into the sky, over trees and forests, farms
- 35:22Speaker 1: and cities, until you eventually come to your own home.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You land in front of it, jump off the hover
- 35:32Speaker 1: scooter and head inside. You're feeling pretty tired, so you
- 35:38Speaker 1: decide it's time to go directly to your bed. As
- 35:43Speaker 1: you enter your room, you see it standing there before you.
- 35:48Speaker 1: You walk over to it, climb inside, and pull the
- 35:53Speaker 1: comfortable covers up to your chin. Your eyes become heavy,
- 36:00Speaker 1: so you just allow them to close. You allow your
- 36:05Speaker 1: muscles to melt any tension away until it feels like
- 36:11Speaker 1: you've sunk down completely into the bed, as relaxed as
- 36:17Speaker 1: can be, and then you let your mind wander as well,
- 36:26Speaker 1: to dreams of new adventures and new things to come.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Good night, everyone. You wake up in your own bed.
- 36:38Speaker 1: You get up and look around you. Over to the
- 36:42Speaker 1: side of the room is Quantum, the little computer that
- 36:47Speaker 1: knows pretty much everything. Ah, good morning, Quantum, you say,
- 36:53Speaker 1: Good morning, Quantum response, how are you today? I'm doing great.
- 37:02Speaker 1: What do you think we should do today? I know
- 37:04Speaker 1: we've built the flying scooter and of course the submarine,
- 37:09Speaker 1: but I'm not sure what we should work on next.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I have several ideas, Quantum response. If we eventually want
- 37:18Speaker 1: to start producing really large and cool things, we will
- 37:24Speaker 1: need a more efficient way to gather matter. Oh, that's
- 37:30Speaker 1: a good idea, you respond to, what kind of large
- 37:34Speaker 1: and cool things you have in mind? Well, for example,
- 37:39Speaker 1: I thought we could create an underground base, but in
- 37:44Speaker 1: order to do that, we'll need lots of material, and
- 37:49Speaker 1: it would probably be a good idea to build some
- 37:52Speaker 1: helper robots as well. Ow, that sounds really cool. All right,
- 38:00Speaker 1: should we do to get more garbage or material or
- 38:03Speaker 1: whatever it is we need? That is an excellent question.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I have done extensive research on this planet, and I
- 38:13Speaker 1: have discovered an abundance of garbage and floating plastic in
- 38:18Speaker 1: the Earth's oceans. Yeah, I saw some of that when
- 38:24Speaker 1: we were using the submarine. What do you think we
- 38:27Speaker 1: can do about it? Well, I suggest equipping the submarine
- 38:33Speaker 1: with a garbage collection system. We can use that to
- 38:38Speaker 1: clean up the ocean and fulfill our goals at the
- 38:42Speaker 1: same time. Oh, that does sound like a pretty cool idea.
- 38:49Speaker 1: All right, Well, we have the submarine already, what do
- 38:54Speaker 1: you think we have to add to it? Putting it
- 38:57Speaker 1: on display on the Quantum's computer screen, there's suddenly a
- 39:02Speaker 1: picture of the submarine. But now the submarine has a
- 39:07Speaker 1: large attachment to the front of it, and some other
- 39:12Speaker 1: type of attachment on the back as well. The mechanism
- 39:16Speaker 1: on the front is the garbage collector, and the new
- 39:20Speaker 1: things on the back are energy storage devices. Oh what
- 39:26Speaker 1: are the energy storage devices for you?
- 39:29Speaker 3: Ask?
- 39:30Speaker 1: Well, I was thinking we should equip the submarine with
- 39:34Speaker 1: a datomizer, the same device that's present in my three
- 39:39Speaker 1: D printer, and is able to break down matter into
- 39:43Speaker 1: its component atoms. The energy storage devices store all of
- 39:48Speaker 1: the energy collected. When we bring them back to the
- 39:52Speaker 1: three D printer, we can use them to build almost
- 39:56Speaker 1: anything you could imagine. Oh, sounds like a great idea.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Let's get to work once again. Quantum initiates the three
- 40:07Speaker 1: D printer and begins printing the component parts for the submarines,
- 40:12Speaker 1: collector and energy storage devices. Like before, you take the
- 40:18Speaker 1: rocket scooter head high up into the sky and out
- 40:23Speaker 1: to the local garbage jump and junkyard to get a
- 40:26Speaker 1: whole variety of different things that can be broken down
- 40:29Speaker 1: for atoms. Once you return with a huge trailer load
- 40:35Speaker 1: of metal and plastic and garbage, you begin to load
- 40:39Speaker 1: it into the de atomizer. It makes it glow a
- 40:43Speaker 1: bright yellow color before breaking it down into pure energy. Next,
- 40:49Speaker 1: you grab the backpack that folds out into the submarine
- 40:53Speaker 1: and take it outside your house. You find a place
- 40:57Speaker 1: with enough space and a place that's a little bit
- 41:01Speaker 1: hidden from other things. You place the backpack on the
- 41:05Speaker 1: ground and press the button on the side of it.
- 41:08Speaker 1: The submarine folds out from the backpack at pretty amazing speed. Then,
- 41:16Speaker 1: bit by bit, you grab all the component parts the
- 41:19Speaker 1: Quantum prints, and you start assembling the garbage gatherer on
- 41:24Speaker 1: the front of the submarine. Quantum makes it pretty easy.
- 41:29Speaker 1: In fact, you barely need instructions at all, because all
- 41:33Speaker 1: of the components he designs are designed to just kind
- 41:36Speaker 1: of snap right together as soon as you bring them
- 41:39Speaker 1: to the submarine. You spend a large part of the
- 41:43Speaker 1: day grabbing the parts and snapping them on to the submarine,
- 41:48Speaker 1: but before too long you have a really cool design.
- 41:53Speaker 1: It looks like a submarine with a gigantic snow plow
- 41:57Speaker 1: on the front. Only snowplows not solid. It's made of
- 42:02Speaker 1: interlocking pieces of metal. It's perfectly designed to catch things
- 42:08Speaker 1: like plastic and garbage and filter out the ocean. The
- 42:13Speaker 1: plow on the front is angled and designed in a
- 42:16Speaker 1: way that all of the garbage collected will slide to
- 42:20Speaker 1: a huge hole in the middle. The hole sucks all
- 42:24Speaker 1: of the garbage in, breaks it back down into its
- 42:28Speaker 1: component parts atoms of course, and transfers it to the
- 42:34Speaker 1: storage tanks, which are sitting on the back of the submarine.
- 42:38Speaker 1: There's six individual tanks, each one designed to be just
- 42:43Speaker 1: light enough for you to carry. Quantum could have made
- 42:46Speaker 1: a bigger tank, but it wouldn't have fit inside the
- 42:49Speaker 1: three D printer you have, and he needed you to
- 42:53Speaker 1: be able to carry it. All right, Quantum, looks like
- 42:57Speaker 1: we're ready to go, almost said Quantum. I have designed
- 43:02Speaker 1: one more thing. Check it out. You go back to
- 43:06Speaker 1: the three D printer and you see it just turning off,
- 43:11Speaker 1: leaving a little block in the center of it. Please
- 43:15Speaker 1: connect the block to my control panel. Uh okay. You
- 43:20Speaker 1: take the little block of metal and head back towards Quantum.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Quantum shoots a little chord out of himself. You grab
- 43:29Speaker 1: the chord and you plug it into the same sized
- 43:32Speaker 1: outlet on the little block. As soon as you do,
- 43:37Speaker 1: you witness a transfer of energy from the Quantum computer
- 43:42Speaker 1: and through the little block. Then the block turns on
- 43:48Speaker 1: and a screen with a little picture of Quantum appears. Hello,
- 43:53Speaker 1: and surprise. I wanted to come with you directly, so
- 43:58Speaker 1: I made myself a mobile body. It's perfectly connected to
- 44:03Speaker 1: my main body. Cool, so you can be here or there.
- 44:10Speaker 1: That's exactly right, Quantum explains. And I can transform into
- 44:17Speaker 1: a couple very easy to carry devices. Watch this, Quantum says,
- 44:23Speaker 1: as he suddenly transforms into a well, something that resembles
- 44:29Speaker 1: a giant wristwatch. It forms itself around your arm, the
- 44:34Speaker 1: screen still pointing up towards you with Quantum smiling face.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Now it's time to go, Quantum says, Okay, I guess
- 44:46Speaker 1: we'll go together. You head back out into the backyard.
- 44:51Speaker 1: When you get to the submarine, you press a button
- 44:54Speaker 1: on the side of it that causes it to fold
- 44:57Speaker 1: back into a backpack. Well, the backpack is a little
- 45:02Speaker 1: pit larger than it was before, but it's still impressively
- 45:06Speaker 1: light weight. You pick it up and slug it over
- 45:10Speaker 1: your back, and extra metal straps seem to attach themselves
- 45:14Speaker 1: to you. It's as if the backpack perfectly forms to
- 45:19Speaker 1: your back, and it feels kind of comfortable. Next, you
- 45:25Speaker 1: climb on your rocket scooter. You pull back on it
- 45:28Speaker 1: as you twist the handle, and you zoom up into
- 45:31Speaker 1: the air. You fly high above the world. You pass
- 45:37Speaker 1: over cities and towns, forests and lakes and rivers until
- 45:43Speaker 1: you eventually come to the ocean. Then you continue to
- 45:48Speaker 1: fly over vast, vast areas of ocean. Soon Quantum leads
- 45:55Speaker 1: you to a little island in the middle of the Pacific.
- 45:59Speaker 1: You land on the little desert island with a single
- 46:02Speaker 1: coconut tree in the center of it, and you climb
- 46:05Speaker 1: off the rocket scooter. You pull the backpack off of
- 46:10Speaker 1: your back. You get over near the water and you
- 46:14Speaker 1: press the button on it, throwing it up into the air.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Very quickly, your submarine expands with its new plow folded
- 46:23Speaker 1: out and its new energy tanks on the back. You
- 46:28Speaker 1: climb inside the submarine and you begin to head out
- 46:32Speaker 1: into the ocean. This time, instead of going deep below
- 46:37Speaker 1: the sea, you keep your head sticking out at the
- 46:40Speaker 1: top of the submarine as you and quantum blast across
- 46:44Speaker 1: the waves and above the surface. Before long, you find
- 46:51Speaker 1: something that looks like an island or a garbage dump,
- 46:57Speaker 1: or well a gigantic thing of plastic floating garbage. And
- 47:06Speaker 1: it goes on as far as your eye can see.
- 47:11Speaker 1: How big is this patch of garbage? You ask, That
- 47:16Speaker 1: is very interesting. The Pacific garbage patch spans an estimated
- 47:21Speaker 1: surface area of one point six million square kilometers. That's
- 47:28Speaker 1: about six hundred and seventeen thousand, seven hundred and sixty
- 47:32Speaker 1: three square miles. That's roughly three times the size of France.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Three times the size of France. That's horrifying. But at
- 47:48Speaker 1: least it'll provide enough material for the sub.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Yes, it will.
- 47:54Speaker 1: This should provide enough material to build almost anything we want.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Now what we have to do is collect it. Oh okay,
- 48:05Speaker 1: I guess we better get started. You expand the plow
- 48:10Speaker 1: on the front of the submarine to its largest width.
- 48:14Speaker 1: You had no idea how much garbage you were going
- 48:17Speaker 1: to find here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
- 48:21Speaker 1: The big plow on the front collects bits and bits
- 48:24Speaker 1: of plastic, and slowly, because of the shape of the plow,
- 48:29Speaker 1: the plastic works its way into the center. It's then
- 48:33Speaker 1: sucked up by a little suction device in the center
- 48:37Speaker 1: and turned into pure energy or basic atoms. Anyways, things
- 48:44Speaker 1: are going pretty well when you notice something in the distance.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Is that what I think it is?
- 48:53Speaker 3: Oh?
- 48:54Speaker 1: No, I believe you're detecting a large group of seagulls
- 49:00Speaker 1: coming this way. I was afraid of that. Is it
- 49:06Speaker 1: just me? Or are they coming directly for us? I
- 49:10Speaker 1: believe you are correct. They seem to be headed directly here.
- 49:16Speaker 1: I would recommend getting inside, unless you'd like to develop
- 49:21Speaker 1: a close connection with bird poop A close eh, of
- 49:26Speaker 1: course not. You duck down inside the submarine immediately and
- 49:31Speaker 1: close the hatch on the top. As soon as you do,
- 49:35Speaker 1: tons and tons of seagulls begin to fly overhead, dropping
- 49:40Speaker 1: their little bombs of poop everywhere. That's disgusting. Are they
- 49:46Speaker 1: attacking us or something? You ask, as the submarine automatically
- 49:50Speaker 1: clears the debris away from the windshield. It's possible that
- 49:55Speaker 1: we are disturbing their habitat. The birds then be into
- 50:00Speaker 1: land on the submarine. They start biting away at the
- 50:04Speaker 1: front of it and breaking little pieces of metal apart.
- 50:10Speaker 1: You didn't think they'd be strong enough to do that,
- 50:12Speaker 1: but it seems with enough birds and enough power, they
- 50:17Speaker 1: may be able to do some damage to the submarine. Quantum,
- 50:22Speaker 1: do you have any bright ideas about how to fight
- 50:24Speaker 1: these birds off? You ask, yes, I do. I have
- 50:28Speaker 1: equipped the submarine with several high powered water cannons. I
- 50:33Speaker 1: will put them on a lower pressure that will not
- 50:36Speaker 1: harm the birds. You can aim and distract the birds
- 50:41Speaker 1: from the device. All right, that sounds kind of fun.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You promise it won't hurt them long term or anything
- 50:50Speaker 1: like that. I promise I will set the pressure perfectly. Okay,
- 50:57Speaker 1: here we go. Giant water guns pop out at the
- 51:02Speaker 1: top of the submarine, A little hatch opens up in
- 51:06Speaker 1: the control panel and a joystick pops out with a
- 51:10Speaker 1: large red button on the top of it. On the
- 51:13Speaker 1: screen in front of you, a crosshair appears. You play
- 51:18Speaker 1: around with the joystick and you find that as you
- 51:21Speaker 1: move it, the crosshair on the screen moves as well.
- 51:25Speaker 1: This must be how you target things. You aim the
- 51:29Speaker 1: crosshairs at a large cluster of birds that are trying
- 51:33Speaker 1: to pick apart the submarine, and when you press down
- 51:37Speaker 1: on the button, a huge stream of water suddenly shoots
- 51:41Speaker 1: out at them. The birds immediately get up and fly away.
- 51:46Speaker 1: It scares almost all of them out of the way.
- 51:49Speaker 1: You spin around behind you when you start to do
- 51:52Speaker 1: the same thing. As the birds circle in the air,
- 51:57Speaker 1: you aim up at them and you spray the water
- 51:59Speaker 1: cans as well. Before too long, the seagulls give up
- 52:05Speaker 1: entirely and fly away in the other direction. I think
- 52:09Speaker 1: we did it. Thanks Quantum, you say you're welcome. Good
- 52:14Speaker 1: aim partner, Quantum response, Thanks, and I have good news.
- 52:23Speaker 1: The energy tanks seem to be completely full. Oh cool,
- 52:29Speaker 1: But there's so much more garbage here, Yes there is.
- 52:34Speaker 1: This place is absolutely disgusting, but for now, let's head home,
- 52:42Speaker 1: all right. You press a button on the console, causing
- 52:46Speaker 1: the plow on the front of the submarine to fold
- 52:48Speaker 1: back into itself, and then you press forward on the throttle,
- 52:53Speaker 1: once again skipping above the water instead of underneath it.
- 52:59Speaker 1: As you dry, you decide to play around with the
- 53:02Speaker 1: controls a little bit. As the submarine jumps off the water,
- 53:07Speaker 1: you press down on the controls and dive into the
- 53:11Speaker 1: water with the next jump. Then you jump out of
- 53:14Speaker 1: the water again by pulling back, and you begin to
- 53:18Speaker 1: steer the submarine like a dolphin, jumping up and down
- 53:21Speaker 1: out of the water, dropping below it, popping above it.
- 53:26Speaker 1: And it's pretty amazing fun until you see the island
- 53:30Speaker 1: that you landed on in the first place, with your
- 53:33Speaker 1: rocket scooter still sitting there all alone in the middle
- 53:36Speaker 1: of the ocean.
- 53:38Speaker 2: You get out of.
- 53:39Speaker 1: The submarine and step off onto the side of the island.
- 53:43Speaker 1: As you press the button on the submarine causing it
- 53:47Speaker 1: to fold back into its normal backpack shape, you find
- 53:51Speaker 1: that the backpack is a lot heavier when you try
- 53:56Speaker 1: to pick it up. In fact, it's so heavy that
- 54:00Speaker 1: you can't pick it up at all. Quantum did this
- 54:05Speaker 1: thing get heavier. Yes, it did. You have just collected
- 54:10Speaker 1: tons and tons of matter. It may be in a
- 54:14Speaker 1: compact form, but its weight cannot change. Then how are
- 54:19Speaker 1: we going to get this home? You ask, don't fret.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I have equipped your rocket scooter to be able to
- 54:28Speaker 1: collect it directly. Climb aboard. You climb aboard the rocket scooter,
- 54:34Speaker 1: and you carefully fly it up in the air. You
- 54:38Speaker 1: float it down above the backpack that's now incredibly heavy,
- 54:43Speaker 1: and you just kind of float there. I'll do the honors,
- 54:47Speaker 1: Quantum says. Suddenly, like a magnet, the backpack shoots up
- 54:53Speaker 1: off the ground and slams into the bottom of your
- 54:56Speaker 1: hover scooter. The hover scooter seems a little more sluggish,
- 55:02Speaker 1: but it can clearly handle this kind of weight. You
- 55:06Speaker 1: pull back on the scooter and twist the handle as
- 55:09Speaker 1: far as you can, and almost as easily, the rocket
- 55:14Speaker 1: scooter blasts off into the air, high above the clouds
- 55:19Speaker 1: and over the ocean once again. Again, You fly over
- 55:24Speaker 1: the ocean until you find the coastline. From there, you
- 55:28Speaker 1: head directly home, once again, passing over forests and rivers
- 55:34Speaker 1: and lakes, cities and towns until you come to a
- 55:39Speaker 1: familiar landscape. The place you live. You land in front
- 55:44Speaker 1: of your house and drop the giant heavy backpack on
- 55:47Speaker 1: the ground outside, before landing separately on your Hofer scooter. Quantum,
- 55:55Speaker 1: how are we even going to get the tanks inside? Now,
- 55:58Speaker 1: you ask, don't worry, fold the submarine back out, Quantum ortars.
- 56:05Speaker 1: You do as he says, and the submarine folds back out,
- 56:09Speaker 1: revealing its different energy storage devices. I had a little
- 56:14Speaker 1: energy left over while you were gone. I had it
- 56:17Speaker 1: print one of those helper robots I was talking to
- 56:20Speaker 1: you about. Check this out. The door to your house
- 56:25Speaker 1: opens up and out flies a little helper robot. It's
- 56:31Speaker 1: not very big, but it floats in the air with ease.
- 56:35Speaker 1: It heads over to the energy storage tanks, magnetically seems
- 56:39Speaker 1: to latch onto them, and easily flies up in the
- 56:43Speaker 1: air and into the house. It repeats the process six
- 56:47Speaker 1: times until the submarine's totally empty. You fold it up
- 56:53Speaker 1: once again and carry it inside yourself, placing it at
- 56:57Speaker 1: the side of your bedroom. You're starting to realize that
- 57:02Speaker 1: if you're going to continue this venture, you will need
- 57:05Speaker 1: a bigger area to do it. I guess you're gonna
- 57:09Speaker 1: have to build a secret underground base something big enough
- 57:14Speaker 1: to house all of this equipment. But that's a thought
- 57:19Speaker 1: for another day. Quantum, I better get to sleep. You say,
- 57:25Speaker 1: that was a really long day and more work than
- 57:27Speaker 1: I expected. Understood, While you're sleeping, I plan to make
- 57:32Speaker 1: some more help or robots and then get started on
- 57:36Speaker 1: the underground base. Okay, you do that, understood, Quantum. Words
- 57:46Speaker 1: to life, and the three D printer begins to move
- 57:50Speaker 1: back and forth, printing new metallic objects out of the
- 57:54Speaker 1: energy you've created. You lay down in your bed, pull
- 57:59Speaker 1: the cover up over top of yourself, and you allow
- 58:04Speaker 1: your eyes to close. With each breath, you start to
- 58:09Speaker 1: sink down into the mattress. You notice anywhere you're holding tension,
- 58:16Speaker 1: starting with your feet and your hands, and your arms
- 58:20Speaker 1: and your legs, and you just let the tension melt away.
- 58:26Speaker 1: And the deeper you go, the better you feel, and
- 58:30Speaker 1: the better you feel, the deeper you go, until your
- 58:35Speaker 1: mind begins to wander off to thoughts of new dreams
- 58:40Speaker 1: and new adventures to come.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Good night, everyone, m.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: M M.
