SPEAKER_04: Marnay shares inspiring invitations to explore that help you let go of old patterns and create more space for flow, confidence, passion, and joy.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_04: Step into your divine feminine essence and watch your life and relationships begin to flourish.
• 2:16
SPEAKER_03: And I am so grateful that you have joined me, that you have taken valuable time out of your day to connect and join and receive.
• 2:33
SPEAKER_03: Speaking of receiving, that's what we're re we're gonna really delve into this principle, value, and characteristic of aligned divine feminine.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_03: So, you know, ask yourself, are you manifesting what you want in your life?
• 3:00
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting the relationships that you would like to experience?
• 3:05
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting prosperity and abundance?
• 3:10
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting peace and tranquility?
• 3:18
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting healthy relationships with friends, family?
• 3:28
SPEAKER_03: Let's think about this for a second.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_03: So, as I spoke about in my first podcast, and what catapulted me into learning about all of this was literally I could feel some truth rising, number one.
• 3:55
SPEAKER_03: I felt a longing, and I felt an ache for more deeper principles of truth to be brought into my awareness and to really land.
• 4:12
SPEAKER_03: And I could feel the next era of learning, of understanding, of growth and awakening just knocking, literally knocking at the door.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_03: And the feminine architecture of creation is what I really wanted to experience.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_03: So with that being said, I know that women don't struggle to feel, but that we do struggle to create from what we do feel.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_03: And I also know that if your manifestations haven't been landing, it's not because you're not healed enough, spiritual enough, or doing something wrong.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_03: It's because you have been taught to manifest from the mind, while your body whispers, I don't feel safe to receive.
• 5:24
SPEAKER_03: So let's look at that for a minute.
• 5:26
SPEAKER_03: First of all, we as women are literally anatomically set up, created, designed to receive.
• 5:41
SPEAKER_03: And we're designed anatomically to experience pleasure.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_03: Now we're not going to go into that part so much today as we are going to talk about just the simple principle of receiving and how receiving is one of the most intimate experiences of being alive.
• 6:14
SPEAKER_03: Yes, when we are intimate with someone, that can be the case for sure.
• 6:23
SPEAKER_03: Yet when something wants to flow towards us, like love or support or praise or even a payment, because maybe we're, you know, starting a business or something.
• 6:43
SPEAKER_03: Something like that comes towards us, we our our bodies tend to often contract.
• 6:51
SPEAKER_03: Now I'm going to say that again.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_03: Receiving is one of the most intimate experiences of being alive.
• 7:02
SPEAKER_03: Yet when something flows towards us, such as love, um support, praise, abundance, like a payment in our business.
• 7:26
  SPEAKER_03: Our bodies often contract.
• 7:29
SPEAKER_03: Our throat will tighten, our chest closes, and our nervous system literally whispers, This is too much.
• 7:40
SPEAKER_03: And like I said, this is um this doesn't feel safe.
• 7:49
SPEAKER_03: Now just think about this, and in all aspects of your life and in all relationships, perhaps in your um relationships with a spouse or a significant other in a business, or maybe just even with your friends.
• 8:11
SPEAKER_03: Now let's look at this.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_03: So in our lives, many of us carry an ancient memory or program of lifetimes of being told that to receive is selfish, sinful, or unsafe.
• 8:40
SPEAKER_03: Okay, breathe on that one for a minute.
• 8:44
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna give you a little bit of an experience with myself.
• 8:50
SPEAKER_03: Um, as a young girl, when people would give me compliments, and I would be like, uh, I don't really believe that if you tell me I'm pretty and I or talented, and I don't think that about myself, I don't believe that about myself, and something comes at me like that, I tend to want to contract for sure, and then debunk it in some way with some evidence or proof that somebody else has said the opposite, and that if I do receive that, I'm like cocky or prideful or um even selfish, and so a lot of times what I would do is I would deflect.
• 9:57
SPEAKER_03: Like if they would say, Oh, you're so pretty and talented, I would say something like, Well, I probably didn't practice enough and could have done it a lot better, I deflected that and took that compliment out of a space where I didn't receive it.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_03: And um, but here's the here's the caveat on that one.
• 10:30
SPEAKER_03: When someone would say something to me like, oh, I noticed that you felt or looked really insecure in that last performance.
• 10:45
SPEAKER_03: And did you know you missed a whole verse of that song?
• 10:49
SPEAKER_03: Because I'm a vocalist and I would sing, and I'd be like, Yep, I totally messed that song up.
• 10:58
SPEAKER_03: In fact, I made up a whole verse and it even rhymed, but it wasn't the right words, and I did really just completely messed up so bad with that song.
• 11:15
SPEAKER_03: And then it's funny how that kind of a comment I would like totally receive, nail it to my identity, think, yep, I'm gonna put that in my evidence room that I am a screw-up and I totally stink at a performing vocalist.
• 11:40
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, now think about that.
• 11:44
  SPEAKER_03: Do you do that?
• 11:45
SPEAKER_03: Just ponder on that for a moment.
• 11:49
SPEAKER_03: I've literally done retreats where we did a challenge or an invitation, like I am gonna actually give to you today, where the women were literally every time they were told something very kind about them, or someone gave them a very nice compliment to really stop and receive that.
• 12:19
SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna go into more detail about that little exercise.
• 12:23
SPEAKER_03: I literally had some women, I keep saying literally, apologize about that.
• 12:28
SPEAKER_03: Um, I really did have women on the ground, like sobbing, because it was so hard for them to just graciously receive and really open their body, take a breath and get into a ton of gratitude and set this very amazing intention and just receive what that person had to say to them because they just there was so much resistance and so much contraction.
• 13:08
SPEAKER_03: And I, before I ever taught this and offered this invitation for these women to do this in the in a retreat I was facilitating, I got to practice this myself.
• 13:28
SPEAKER_03: Oh man, did that take some intentional, incredible conscious desire to like?
• 13:47
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I'm really gonna do this, and I'm truly going to accept and receive when someone says something kind or complimentary or something of that nature, or even that if somebody wanted to give me a hug, you know, like after the retreat was over or whatever, and their people are giving hugs.
• 14:13
SPEAKER_03: Can I really stop and just receive this thank you so much for everything that you've done for all of us at this retreat?
• 14:22
SPEAKER_03: Can I truly receive that instead of just give a hug and give a compliment to them and tell them thank you so much for coming?
• 14:34
SPEAKER_03: Because I caught myself doing that once in a while.
• 14:40
SPEAKER_03: Can I take a breath, look them in the eyes, open my body language and my heart, really do look them deeply in the eyes and say, thank you.
• 14:52
  SPEAKER_03: I'll receive that.
• 14:55
SPEAKER_02: Ah, yeah, it took a while for that one to land, and I got to practice that a whole bunch because I wasn't gonna offer that invitation to a group of women unless I had literally practiced it myself and put it to the test.
• 15:17
SPEAKER_02: And so, anyway, this has been my journey, and it's been taking every single one of these principles, values, characteristics, and put them to the test myself and loved, loved the outcome.
• 15:39
SPEAKER_03: I've been so grateful for the change, for the pattern interrupts they all became to me, a literal pattern interrupt from an old way of doing something.
• 15:51
SPEAKER_03: Because we all know that if you continue to do what you've always done, you're always gonna get what you've always gotten.
• 15:57
SPEAKER_03: And I did not want to continue to get what I had always gotten in most circumstances.
• 16:06
SPEAKER_03: So back to something I wanted to bring to your attention.
• 16:11
SPEAKER_03: We as women, we are literally the original vessels of life and have been conditioned to pour from ourselves, to give and to serve and to nurture endlessly without refilling our cup.
• 16:30
SPEAKER_03: And so when something tries to come home to us, literally come to us and give us that opportunity to stop and graciously receive, we mistake that that is coming to us as this isn't safe, this is dangerous, this isn't familiar to me.
• 16:58
SPEAKER_03: And so let's think about money for just a minute.
• 17:03
SPEAKER_03: I think all of us would love to be able to experience more abundance, more prosperity, and to live affluently, yes?
• 17:17
SPEAKER_03: So money can be disguised as value, waiting to be honored.
• 17:25
SPEAKER_03: When you say I want money, what you truly mean is I want to experience flow.
• 17:35
SPEAKER_03: But money does not move through control.
• 17:41
SPEAKER_03: We in the divine feminine move through openness, receptiveness, and we in the feminine are in a current with the universe, ever giving and ever receiving inflow, but not doing it from a place of forced or pressure.
• 18:12
SPEAKER_03: What if we could like literally experience life through pleasure and receiving pleasure instead of pressure?
• 18:27
SPEAKER_03: So when we're in that hustle and that chase and that you know, hustle for worthiness and our performance and results is what creates our uh value and our worth and our identity.
• 18:44
SPEAKER_03: You know, perform, perform, perform, get the get those results, push harder, do it faster, do it with more intensity.
• 18:53
SPEAKER_03: Sometimes we even get into some competitiveness, and that can create a space of judgment, and it just goes wonky.
• 19:04
SPEAKER_03: And it none of that is honoring of us in the divine feminine, receiving flow, graciousness, those types of things, those types of values and characteristics that we're looking to embrace and truly let land for us.
• 19:32
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, when we're in this hustle and chase, a lot of times we slip into that masculine polarity of doing.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_03: Do, do, do, do, do, perform, perform, perform, perform.
• 19:44
SPEAKER_03: But when we soften and we allow and we truly practice receiving, we awaken the feminine polarity of receiving.
• 20:00
SPEAKER_03: And true abundance is born only when the two dance together.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_03: Because without the receiver, even divine flow has nowhere to land.
• 20:14
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna say that one more time.
• 20:17
SPEAKER_03: Without a receiver, divine flow, divine abundance, and all that yummy stuff that is in that divine template of God's truth, it doesn't have anywhere to land.
• 20:42
SPEAKER_03: And that was just something that was just like blowing my mind as I was learning these principles.
• 20:55
SPEAKER_03: And, you know, because somewhere along the way, we as women have learned that your worth literally was measured by how much you could give away and serve.
• 21:08
SPEAKER_03: In addition to the, you know, performance and results, but so much of us just give and give and give, and that we measure our worth by that as well.
• 21:20
SPEAKER_03: So in this lifetime, the soul repeats the pattern, and you give and give and give, and the flow doesn't return.
• 21:30
SPEAKER_03: That is really disrupting that universal law of reciprocity, and we wonder what the heck is happening.
• 21:42
SPEAKER_03: But this isn't punishment, it's the soul's way of teaching balance.
• 21:51
SPEAKER_03: So your lesson now is not to be more generous, you're already that.
• 21:57
SPEAKER_03: Your lesson now is not generosity.
• 22:00
  SPEAKER_03: You've mastered that.
• 22:02
SPEAKER_03: Your lesson is receiving without shame, without fear, without an apology, but seeing receiving as an act of sacred trust.
• 22:20
  SPEAKER_03: Sacred trust.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_03: Because in the higher truth and the divine law, giving and receiving are not opposites.
• 22:34
SPEAKER_03: They actually are the same current moving through two poles of the same being.
• 22:46
  SPEAKER_03: Take a breath.
• 22:48
  SPEAKER_03: Think about that.
• 22:52
SPEAKER_03: And when we speak of support and abundance and love, sometimes we see it as if it were a prize, something to earn through effort, through intelligence or through devotion.
• 23:14
SPEAKER_03: But abundance and love and support and friendships and all that kind of stuff isn't something you chase.
• 23:25
SPEAKER_03: It's love is something that recognizes you.
• 23:32
SPEAKER_03: And I have been able to experience that since embracing these principles.
• 23:41
SPEAKER_03: You don't have to chase love.
• 23:44
  SPEAKER_03: Love just recognizes you.
• 23:50
SPEAKER_03: And recognition can only happen when you're open to receive.
• 23:58
SPEAKER_03: And so here again, let's look at this.
• 24:03
SPEAKER_03: The truth is, is you don't have a money problem, or you don't have a problem with love or attracting love, you have a receiving problem.
• 24:21
SPEAKER_03: And that problem isn't about it isn't about finances or finding the right guy or anything like that.
• 24:32
  SPEAKER_03: It's energetic.
• 24:35
SPEAKER_03: Because if if you're contracting when literally something is wanting to come to you and you're not showing your body on all layers and levels what it feels like to receive graciously, what is it going to do?
• 24:58
SPEAKER_03: It's going to interrupt the flow, the contraction, the belief that maybe I don't deserve this or this isn't safe, and I just need to give more.
• 25:13
SPEAKER_03: If I give and give and give more, then maybe something will come back to me.
• 25:22
SPEAKER_03: And that this is really kind of a dichotomy because a lot of times that's what we do, thinking, well, if I just give and give and give and give and give more, then something will come to me.
• 25:32
SPEAKER_03: But a lot of times when it starts to come in your direction, you brace up and you're like, wait, this is selfish, this is wrong, or this is sinful, or whatever.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_03: And so just noticing that it's that it truly is energetic and that receiving is a spiritual practice.
• 25:57
SPEAKER_03: It is literally a spiritual practice, it's a sacred practice.
• 26:06
SPEAKER_03: In this spiritual, sacred practice, it's a it's participation in saying to the divine, I trust you enough to let you give to me.
• 26:20
SPEAKER_03: And each time you receive with grace a compliment, a payment, a moment of luck, a nice compliment, you are anchoring a new vibration of safety in your body.
• 26:37
SPEAKER_03: And you're telling your subconscious it's safe to expand and to awaken and to make room to experience what you are longing, longing and aching to experience.
• 27:02
SPEAKER_03: So remember money, love, joy, new, exciting experiences, they don't come by chasing.
• 27:18
SPEAKER_03: It comes to those who whose energy whispers, I'm ready.
• 27:26
SPEAKER_03: I'm ready to receive and to hold you.
• 27:32
  SPEAKER_03: Think about that.
• 27:35
SPEAKER_03: Now, with this much information, I'm gonna give you some little invitations to play with and get curious about.
• 27:50
SPEAKER_03: The first one is you can't receive when your body is in contraction.
• 28:01
SPEAKER_03: Because most of us women live in the chronic doing, doing, doing, giving, giving, giving, it puts us in tense tension in our shoulders, shallow breathing, heart armored.
• 28:22
SPEAKER_03: And the first step to receiving is to make the body feel safe enough to relax.
• 28:30
SPEAKER_03: So you're gonna find a quiet space and place a hand on your heart and one on your lower belly, and just begin to gently through your nose for four counts, inhale, and then exhale through the mouth for six counts and sigh it out and repeat that nine times.
• 29:02
SPEAKER_01: And as you breathe, whisper It is safe to slow down.
• 29:12
SPEAKER_01: It is safe to receive.
• 29:18
  SPEAKER_03: That's that's invitation number one.
• 29:23
SPEAKER_03: Invitation number two is when someone does something kind for you, gives you a compliment like, man, you look radiant today, or you did such a great job teaching that class.
• 29:39
SPEAKER_03: Or, you know, you're such a good, attentive mother.
• 29:44
SPEAKER_03: I wish I could be more like you.
• 29:47
SPEAKER_03: Think about for a second, just take a breath and think, okay, right now I'm kind of wanting to just um hide, shrink, contract, or maybe very nonchalantly not really intentionally say, Oh, thank you.
• 30:07
SPEAKER_03: I I do really love my children, or oh, thank you, but you know, I I probably could have addressed a couple of other topics a little bit more thoroughly, that kind of thing.
• 30:19
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna stop and breathe after they say that to you, or after they do something for you, like they bring you your kids home for you, and you run out to the car and you say, Hey, thanks, thanks for bringing the kids home.
• 30:38
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna sound like this.
• 30:40
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna stop and look that person in the eye and say, Thank you so much for helping me out with my kids today.
• 30:51
SPEAKER_03: I am gonna receive this gift so graciously.
• 30:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the other lady or the other mom might look at you kind of funny, but that's okay.
• 31:02
SPEAKER_03: Maybe you'll teach her to do the same thing sometime.
• 31:06
SPEAKER_03: Or if somebody does give you that, you know, compliment, like, you look so radiant today.
• 31:12
  SPEAKER_03: Take a breath.
• 31:16
SPEAKER_03: Put your body in an open position, that means palms out or up, open your chest, let the heart receive, look them in the eyes, and say, thank you.
• 31:30
  SPEAKER_03: I'll receive that.
• 31:34
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so this is this might throw a little some people off when you receive at that level, and that's okay, but this is a body learning for you.
• 31:48
SPEAKER_03: This is a pattern interrupt for you.
• 31:51
SPEAKER_03: This is you doing receiving, not doing receiving, practicing receiving very intentional, very intentional.
• 32:08
SPEAKER_03: And then get really curious about what you notice between now and the next podcast.
• 32:18
SPEAKER_03: What you notice in your life.
• 32:22
SPEAKER_03: And you know, maybe some other women will say, that was cool.
• 32:28
  SPEAKER_03: What are you doing?
• 32:29
  SPEAKER_03: Or what what's happening?
• 32:33
SPEAKER_03: And then you can turn right around and teach this exact same concept, or at least invite them to start receiving like that.
• 32:49
SPEAKER_03: You really get a concept a lot clearer and it really lands when you teach it.
• 32:54
SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, I'm inviting you to teach this, or invite them to my podcast and learn it.
• 33:01
SPEAKER_03: You could say, hey, I've been listening to this podcast, and this was one of her, the gal that's facilitating the podcast.
• 33:09
SPEAKER_03: This was one of her challenge or one of her challenges or invitations.
• 33:15
SPEAKER_03: And I'm trying it, I'm giving it a whirl, and I'm seeing what I see differently in my life.
• 33:24
SPEAKER_03: I'm noticing what I see different in my life.
• 33:29
SPEAKER_03: Maybe it's just um uh where I noticed it first was in my body, believe it or not.
• 33:39
SPEAKER_03: And the next thing I noticed it was people were saying, What are you doing?
• 33:46
SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, I'm learning how to receive graciously because I really want to do my life a lot different than I've been doing it in the past.
• 33:57
SPEAKER_03: And they're like, Oh, okay, well, that was really cool.
• 34:02
SPEAKER_03: Maybe I'll start doing that too.
• 34:04
SPEAKER_03: And they did, so it was fun.
• 34:08
SPEAKER_03: So that's my invitation for you with this podcast.
• 34:14
SPEAKER_03: And I do also invite you that if you so feel inspired or a prompting to invite a friend that could really use this information to also join my podcasts, and that way you and your friend can have something to talk about and you know, kind of be an accountability partner or talk about what you've noticed, and they can tell you what they've noticed by taking these little invitations and adopting them into their life.

• 36:34

SPEAKER_03: And I am so grateful that you have joined me, that you have taken valuable time out of your day to connect and join and receive.
• 37:44
SPEAKER_03: Speaking of receiving, that's what we're re we're gonna really delve into this principle, value, and characteristic of a aligned divine feminine.
• 38:00
SPEAKER_03: So, you know, ask yourself, are you manifesting what you want in your life?
• 38:12
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting the relationships that you would like to experience?
• 38:16
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting prosperity and abundance?
• 38:22
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting peace and tranquility?
• 38:29
SPEAKER_03: Are you manifesting healthy relationships with friends, family?
• 38:39
SPEAKER_03: Let's think about this for a second.
• 38:43
SPEAKER_03: So, as I spoke about in my first podcast, and what catapulted me into learning about all of this was literally I could feel some truth rising, number one.
• 39:06
SPEAKER_03: I felt a longing, and I felt an ache for more deeper principles of truth to be brought into my awareness and to really land.
• 39:23
SPEAKER_03: And I could feel the next era of learning, of understanding, of growth and awakening just knocking, literally knocking at the door.
• 39:37
SPEAKER_03: And the feminine architecture of creation is what I really wanted to experience.
• 39:48
SPEAKER_03: So with that being said, I know that women don't struggle to feel, but that we do struggle to create from what we do feel.
• 40:06
SPEAKER_03: And I also know that if your manifestations haven't been landing, it's not because you're not healed enough, spiritual enough, or doing something wrong.
• 40:22
SPEAKER_03: It's because you have been taught to manifest from the mind while your body whispers, I don't feel safe to receive.
• 40:35
SPEAKER_03: So let's look at that for a minute.
• 40:37
SPEAKER_03: First of all, we as women are literally anatomically set up, created, designed to receive.
• 40:52
SPEAKER_03: And we're designed anatomically to experience pleasure.
• 41:03
SPEAKER_03: Now we're not going to go into that part so much today as we are going to talk about just the simple principle of receiving and how receiving is one of the most intimate experiences of being alive.
• 41:25
SPEAKER_03: Yes, when we are intimate with someone, that can be the case for sure.
• 41:34
SPEAKER_03: Yet when something wants to flow towards us, like love or support, or praise, or even a payment, because maybe we're, you know, starting a business or something.
• 41:54
SPEAKER_03: Something like that comes towards us, we our bodies tend to often contract.
• 42:02
SPEAKER_03: Now I'm going to say that again.
• 42:05
SPEAKER_03: Receiving is one of the most intimate experiences of being alive.
• 42:13
SPEAKER_03: Yet when something flows towards us, such as love, um support, praise, abundance, like a payment in our business, our bodies often contract.
• 42:40
SPEAKER_03: Our throat will tighten, our chest closes, and our nervous system literally whispers, This is too much.
• 42:52
SPEAKER_03: And like I said, this is um this doesn't feel safe.
• 43:00
SPEAKER_03: Now just think about this, and in all aspects of your life and in all relationships, perhaps in your um relationships with a spouse or a significant other in a business, or maybe just even with your friends.
• 43:22
SPEAKER_03: Now let's look at this.
• 43:25
SPEAKER_03: So in our lives, many of us carry an ancient memory or program of lifetimes of being told that to receive is selfish, sinful, or unsafe.
• 43:51
SPEAKER_03: Okay, breathe on that one for a minute.
• 43:56
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna give you a little bit of an experience with myself.
• 44:02
SPEAKER_03: As a young girl, when people would give me compliments, and I would be like, uh, I don't really believe that.
• 44:13
SPEAKER_03: If you tell me I'm pretty and I or talented, and I don't think that about myself, I don't believe that about myself, and something comes at me like that, I tend to want to contract for sure, and then debunk it in some way with some evidence or proof that somebody else has said the opposite, and that if I do receive that, I'm like cocky or prideful or um even selfish, and so a lot of times what I would do is I would deflect.
• 45:08
SPEAKER_03: Like if they would say, Oh, you're so pretty and talented, I would say something like, Well, I probably didn't practice enough and could have done it a lot better, I deflected that and took that compliment out of a space where I didn't receive it.
• 45:36
SPEAKER_03: And um, but here's the here's the caveat on that one.
• 45:41
SPEAKER_03: When someone would say something to me like, oh, I noticed that you felt or looked really insecure in that last performance.
• 45:56
SPEAKER_03: And did you know you missed a whole verse of that song?
• 46:01
SPEAKER_03: Because I'm a vocalist and I would sing, and I'd be like, Yep, I totally messed that song up.
• 46:10
SPEAKER_03: In fact, I made up a whole verse and it even rhymed, but it wasn't the right words, and I did really just completely messed up so bad with that song.
• 46:26
SPEAKER_03: And then it's funny how that kind of a comment I would like totally receive, nail it to my identity, think, yep, I'm gonna put that in my evidence room that I am a screw-up and I totally stink at a performing vocalist.
• 46:51
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, now think about that.
• 46:55
  SPEAKER_03: Do you do that?
• 46:57
SPEAKER_03: Just ponder on that for a moment.
• 47:00
SPEAKER_03: I've literally done retreats where we did a challenge or an invitation, like I am gonna actually give to you today, where the women were literally every time they were told something very kind about them, or someone gave them a very nice compliment to really stop and receive that.
• 47:30
SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna go into more detail about that little exercise.
• 47:34
SPEAKER_03: I literally had some women, I keep saying literally, apologize about that.
• 47:40
SPEAKER_03: Um, I really did have women on the ground, like sobbing, because it was so hard for them to just graciously receive and really open their body, take a breath and get into a ton of gratitude and set this very amazing intention and just receive what that person had to say to them because they just there was so much resistance and so much contraction.
• 48:20
SPEAKER_03: And I, before I ever taught this and offered this invitation for these women to do this in the in a retreat I was facilitating, I got to practice this myself.
• 48:39
SPEAKER_03: Oh man, did that take some intentional, incredible conscious desire to like, okay?
• 48:59
SPEAKER_03: I'm really gonna do this, and I'm truly going to accept and receive when someone says something kind or complimentary or something of that nature, or even that if somebody wanted to give me a hug, you know, like after the retreat was over or whatever, and their people are giving hugs.
• 49:24
SPEAKER_03: Can I really stop and just receive this thank you so much for everything that you've done for all of us at this retreat?
• 49:34
SPEAKER_03: Can I truly receive that instead of just give a hug and give a compliment to them and tell them thank you so much for coming?
• 49:46
SPEAKER_03: Because I caught myself doing that once in a while.
• 49:51
SPEAKER_03: Can I take a breath, look them in the eyes, open my body language and my heart, really do look them deeply in the eyes and say, thank you.
• 50:03
  SPEAKER_03: I'll receive that.
• 50:07
  SPEAKER_03: Ah, yeah.
• 50:08
SPEAKER_02: It took a while for that one to land, and I got to practice that a whole bunch because I wasn't gonna offer that invitation to a group of women unless I had literally practiced it myself and put it to the test.
• 50:29
SPEAKER_02: And so, anyway, this has been my journey, and it's been taking every single one of these principles, values, characteristics, and put them to the test myself and loved, loved the outcome.
• 50:50
SPEAKER_03: I've been so grateful for the change, for the pattern interrupts they all became to me, a literal pattern interrupt from an old way of doing something.
• 51:03
SPEAKER_03: Because we all know that if you continue to do what you've always done, you're always gonna get what you've always gotten.
• 51:09
SPEAKER_03: And I did not want to continue to get what I had always gotten in most circumstances.
• 51:17
SPEAKER_03: So back to something I wanted to bring to your attention.
• 51:23
SPEAKER_03: We as women, we are literally the original vessels of life and have been conditioned to pour from ourselves, to give and to serve and to nurture endlessly without refilling our cup.
• 51:41
SPEAKER_03: And so when something tries to come home to us, literally come to us and give us that opportunity to stop and graciously receive, we mistake that that is coming to us as this isn't safe, this is dangerous, this isn't familiar to me.
• 52:09
SPEAKER_03: And so let's think about money for just a minute.
• 52:15
SPEAKER_03: I think all of us would love to be able to experience more abundance, more prosperity, and to live affluently, yes?
• 52:28
SPEAKER_03: So money can be disguised as value, waiting to be honored.
• 52:36
SPEAKER_03: When you say I want money, what you truly mean is I want to experience flow.
• 52:47
SPEAKER_03: But money does not move through control.
• 52:52
SPEAKER_03: We in the divine feminine move through openness, receptiveness, and we in the feminine are in a current with the universe, ever giving and ever receiving in flow, but not doing it from a place of forced or pressure.
• 53:23
SPEAKER_03: What if we could like literally experience life through pleasure and receiving pleasure instead of pressure?
• 53:39
SPEAKER_03: So when we're in that hustle and that chase, and that you know, hustle for worthiness and our performance and results is what creates our our uh value and our worth and our identity.
• 53:56
SPEAKER_03: You know, perform, perform, perform, get the get those results, push harder, do it faster, do it with more intensity.
• 54:05
SPEAKER_03: Sometimes we even get into some competitiveness, and that can create a space of judgment, and it just goes wonky.
• 54:15
SPEAKER_03: And it none of that is honoring of us in the divine feminine, receiving flow, graciousness, those types of things, those types of values and characteristics that we're looking to embrace and truly let land for us.
• 54:44
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, when we're in this hustle and chase, a lot of times we slip into that masculine polarity of doing.
• 54:50
SPEAKER_03: Do, do, do, do, do, perform, perform, perform, perform.
• 54:56
SPEAKER_03: But when we soften and we allow and we truly practice receiving, we awaken the feminine polarity of receiving, and true abundance is born only when the two dance together.
• 55:16
SPEAKER_03: Because without the receiver, even divine flow has nowhere to land.
• 55:25
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna say that one more time.
• 55:28
SPEAKER_03: Without a receiver, divine flow, divine abundance, and all that yummy stuff that is in that divine template of God's truth, it doesn't have anywhere to land.
• 55:53
SPEAKER_03: And that was just something that was just like blowing my mind as I was learning these principles.
• 56:06
SPEAKER_03: And, you know, because somewhere along the way, we as women have learned that your worth literally was measured by how much you could give away and serve.
• 56:20
SPEAKER_03: In addition to the, you know, performance and results, but so much of us just give and give and give, and that we measure our worth by that as well.
• 56:31
SPEAKER_03: So in this lifetime, the soul repeats the pattern, and you give and give and give, and the flow doesn't return.
• 56:41
SPEAKER_03: That is really disrupting that universal law of reciprocity, and we wonder what the heck is happening.
• 56:54
SPEAKER_03: But this isn't punishment, it's the soul's way of teaching balance.
• 57:02
SPEAKER_03: So your lesson now is not to be more generous.
• 57:07
  SPEAKER_03: You're already that.
• 57:08
SPEAKER_03: Your lesson now is not generosity, you've mastered that.
• 57:13
SPEAKER_03: Your lesson is receiving without shame, without fear, without an apology, but seeing receiving as an act of sacred trust.
• 57:31
  SPEAKER_03: Sacred trust.
• 57:37
SPEAKER_03: Because in the higher truth and the divine law, giving and receiving are not opposites.
• 57:45
SPEAKER_03: They actually are the same current moving through two poles of the same being.
• 57:57
SPEAKER_03: Take a breath, think about that.
• 58:03
SPEAKER_03: And when we speak of support and abundance and love, sometimes we see it as if it were a prize, something to earn through effort, through intelligence or through devotion.
• 58:26
SPEAKER_03: But abundance and love and support and friendships and all that kind of stuff isn't something you chase.
• 58:37
SPEAKER_03: It's love is something that recognizes you.
• 58:43
SPEAKER_03: And I have been able to experience that since embracing these principles.
• 58:53
SPEAKER_03: You don't have to chase love, love just recognizes you.
• 59:02
SPEAKER_03: And recognition can only happen when you're open to receive.
• 59:10
SPEAKER_03: And so here again, let's look at this.
• 59:24
SPEAKER_03: A problem with love or attracting love, you have a receiving problem.
• 59:33
SPEAKER_03: And that problem isn't about it isn't about finances or finding the right guy or anything like that.
• 59:44
  SPEAKER_03: It's energetic.
• 59:47
SPEAKER_03: Because if if you're contracting when literally something is wanting to come to you, and you're not showing your body on all layers and levels what it feels like to receive graciously, what is it gonna do?
• 1:00:09
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna interrupt the flow, the contraction, the belief that maybe I don't deserve this or this isn't safe, and I just need to give more.
• 1:00:25
SPEAKER_03: If I give and give and give more, then maybe something will come back to me.
• 1:00:33
SPEAKER_03: And that this is really kind of a dichotomy because a lot of times that's what we do, thinking, well, if I just give and give and give and give and give more, then something will come to me.
• 1:00:43
SPEAKER_03: But a lot of times when it starts to come in your direction, you brace up and you're like, wait, this is selfish, this is wrong, or this is sinful, or whatever.
• 1:00:55
SPEAKER_03: And so just noticing that it's that it truly is energetic, and that receiving is a spiritual practice.
• 1:01:09
SPEAKER_03: It is literally a spiritual practice, it's a sacred practice.
• 1:01:17
SPEAKER_03: In this spiritual, sacred practice, it's a it's participation in saying to the divine, I trust you enough to let you give to me.
• 1:01:32
SPEAKER_03: And each time you receive with grace a compliment, a payment, a moment of luck, a nice compliment, you are anchoring a new vibration of safety in your body, and you're telling your subconscious it's safe to expand and to awaken, and to make room to experience what you are longing, longing and aching to experience.
• 1:02:13
SPEAKER_03: So remember money, love, joy, new, exciting experiences, they don't come by chasing.
• 1:02:30
SPEAKER_03: It comes to those who whose energy whispers, I'm ready.
• 1:02:37
SPEAKER_03: I'm ready to receive and to hold you.
• 1:02:43
  SPEAKER_03: Think about that.
• 1:02:46
SPEAKER_03: Now, with this much information, I'm gonna give you some little invitations to play with and get curious about.
• 1:03:02
SPEAKER_03: The first one is you can't receive when your body is in contraction.
• 1:03:12
SPEAKER_03: Because most of us women live in the chronic doing, doing, doing, giving, giving, giving, it puts us in tense tension in our shoulders, shallow breathing, heart armored.
• 1:03:33
SPEAKER_03: And the first step to receiving is to make the body feel safe enough to relax.
• 1:03:42
SPEAKER_03: So you're gonna find a quiet space and place a hand on your heart and one on your lower belly, and just begin to gently through your nose for four counts, inhale, and then exhale through the mouth for six counts and sigh it out.
• 1:04:09
SPEAKER_03: And repeat that nine times.
• 1:04:14
SPEAKER_01: And as you breathe, whisper It is safe to slow down.
• 1:04:24
SPEAKER_01: It is safe to receive.
• 1:04:29
  SPEAKER_03: That's that's invitation number one.
• 1:04:35
SPEAKER_03: Invitation number two is when someone does something kind for you, gives you a compliment like, man, you look radiant today, or you did such a great job teaching that class, or you know, you're such a good, attentive mother.
• 1:04:55
SPEAKER_03: I wish I could be more like you.
• 1:04:59
SPEAKER_03: Think about for a second, just take a breath and think, okay, right now I'm kind of wanting to just um hide, shrink, contract, or maybe very nonchalantly not really intentionally say, oh, thank you.
• 1:05:18
SPEAKER_03: I I do really love my children, or oh, thank you, but you know, I I probably could have addressed a couple of other topics a little bit more thoroughly, that kind of thing.
• 1:05:30
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna stop and breathe after they say that to you, or after they do something for you, like they bring you your kids home for you, and you run out to the car and you say, Hey, thanks, thanks for bringing the kids home.
• 1:05:50
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna sound like this.
• 1:05:51
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna stop and look that person in the eye and say, Thank you so much for helping me out.
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_03: Out with my kids today, I am gonna receive this gift so graciously.
• 1:06:08
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the other lady or the other mom might look at you kind of funny, but that's okay.
• 1:06:13
SPEAKER_03: Maybe you'll teach her to do the same thing sometime.
• 1:06:17
SPEAKER_03: Or if somebody does give you that, you know, compliment, like you look so radiant today.
• 1:06:24
  SPEAKER_03: Take a breath.
• 1:06:27
SPEAKER_03: Put your body in an open position.
• 1:06:29
SPEAKER_03: That means palms out or up, open your chest, let the heart receive, look them in the eyes, and say, thank you.
• 1:06:41
  SPEAKER_03: I'll receive that.
• 1:06:45
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so this is this might throw a little some people off when you receive at that level, and that's okay.
• 1:06:55
SPEAKER_03: But this is a body learning for you.
• 1:06:59
SPEAKER_03: This is a pattern interrupt for you.
• 1:07:02
SPEAKER_03: This is you doing receiving, not doing receiving, practicing receiving, very intentional, very intentional.
• 1:07:20
SPEAKER_03: And then get really curious about what you notice between now and the next podcast.
• 1:07:30
SPEAKER_03: What you notice in your life.
• 1:07:34
SPEAKER_03: And you know, maybe some other women will say, That was cool.
• 1:07:39
  SPEAKER_03: What are you doing?
• 1:07:41
  SPEAKER_03: Or what what's happening?
• 1:07:44
SPEAKER_03: And then you can turn right around and teach this exact same concept, or at least invite them to start receiving like that.
• 1:08:00
SPEAKER_03: You really get a concept a lot clearer, and it really lands when you teach it.
• 1:08:05
SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, I'm inviting you to teach this, or invite them to my podcast and learn it.
• 1:08:12
SPEAKER_03: You could say, hey, I've been listening to this podcast, and this was one of her, the gal that's facilitating the podcast.
• 1:08:21
SPEAKER_03: This was one of her challenge or one of her challenges or invitations.
• 1:08:26
SPEAKER_03: And I'm trying it, I'm giving it a whirl, and I'm seeing what I see differently in my life.
• 1:08:35
SPEAKER_03: I'm noticing what I see different in my life.
• 1:08:40
SPEAKER_03: Maybe it's just um where I noticed it first was in my body, believe it or not.
• 1:08:50
SPEAKER_03: And the next thing I noticed it was people were saying, What are you doing?
• 1:08:57
SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, I'm learning how to receive graciously because I really want to do my life a lot different than I've been doing it in the past.
• 1:09:08
SPEAKER_03: And they're like, Oh, okay, well, that was really cool.
• 1:09:13
SPEAKER_03: Maybe I'll start doing that too.
• 1:09:15
  SPEAKER_03: And they did.
• 1:09:18
  SPEAKER_03: So it was fun.
• 1:09:20
SPEAKER_03: So that's my invitation for you with this podcast.
• 1:09:26
SPEAKER_03: And I do also invite you that if you so feel inspired or a prompting to invite a friend that could really use this information to also join my podcasts.
• 1:09:44
SPEAKER_03: And that way you and your friend can have something to talk about and you know, kind of be an accountability partner or talk about what you've noticed, and they can tell you what they've noticed by taking these little invitations and adopting them into their life.
• 1:10:07

• 1:11:29
SPEAKER_03: And we're gonna talk a lot more about that too, because each one of these principles do as we embrace them and we practice them, you're gonna see some changes in your guy.
• 1:11:45
  SPEAKER_03: That is for sure.
