  Choosing the right path Every day is filled with choices, and
• 0:15
  some of them feel small enough to ignore but little.

  Choices shape direction, and direction shapes who you become.

  Proverbs chapter 14, verses 18 to 19 says the simple inherit
• 0:27
  folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge That
• 0:31
  reminds us that wisdom is not automatic.
• 0:34
  It comes through paying attention, learning from God,
• 0:37
  and letting truth guide your steps.
• 0:40
  Mark chapter 16, verses 5 to 8 tells us about the women at the
• 0:43
  empty tomb. They had come expecting death
• 0:47
  and grief, but instead they were met with the shocking news that
• 0:50
  Jesus had risen. The passage says they were
• 0:53
  trembling and astonished and they were afraid.
• 0:57
  That reaction feels so human. Sometimes God is at work in ways
• 1:01
  we do not understand, and fear rushes in before faith has time
• 1:05
  to catch up. Maybe that is where you are
• 1:07
  right now. You want to choose the right
• 1:10
  path, but you feel unsure, nervous, or overwhelmed.
• 1:14
  You know God is calling you to trust him, but fear keeps making
• 1:17
  everything feel harder than it should.
• 1:20
  That is why prudence matters. Wisdom does not mean having
• 1:23
  every answer. It means choosing to follow God
• 1:26
  even when you are trembling. The simple path often says just
• 1:30
  go with what is easiest, what feels natural, what everyone
• 1:33
  else is doing. But the prudent path says stop
• 1:36
  and ask what is true. Stop and ask what honors God.
• 1:41
  Stop and ask which direction leads to life.
• 1:43
  You do not have to let fear decide for you.
• 1:46
  Fear is loud, but it is not always wise.
• 1:49
  God's presence may not remove every uncertain feeling
• 1:52
  immediately, but it does give you a faithful guide.
• 1:56
  He knows how to lead you when you feel shaky.
• 1:59
  He knows how to steady your heart while you walk.

  So choose the path that keeps you close to Jesus.

  Choose what builds faith, not just comfort.
• 2:08
  Choose what reflects obedience, even if it costs you something.
• 2:11
  The right path may not always feel easy, but it will always be
• 2:14
  worth it. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you for caring about the direction of my
• 2:20
  life. Help me choose wisdom over
• 2:22
  carelessness and faith over fear.
• 2:25
  When I feel uncertain, guide me with Your truth and steady my
• 2:28
  heart with Your presence. Teach me to trust You one step
• 2:32
  at a time and to walk the path that brings honor to You and
• 2:35
  life to my soul in Jesus name, Amen.

  Afterward, he was revealed to the 11 themselves as they sat at

  the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness

  of heart because they didn't believe those who had seen him.

  After he had risen, he said to them, Go into all the world and

  preach the good news to the whole creation.

  He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who

  disbelieves will be condemned. These signs will accompany those

  who believe in my name. They will cast out demons, they

  will speak with new languages, they will take up serpents, and

  if they drink any deadly thing it will in no way hurt them.

  They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

  So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up

  into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

  They went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working
• 6:20
  with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed.
