- 0:00Speak to what it is that she really wants.
- 0:03The first, most critical step is to establish a reconnection with
- 0:06the self, with specifically the most resourced part of
- 0:11themselves. Because when a woman comes to
- 0:14you all, when a woman comes to me, they come.
- 0:16And this is the presenting problem and this is my issue,
- 0:18and this is what I need to get rid of.
- 0:20Or they're feeling stuck, stopped, can't get traction,
- 0:23momentum, whatever that is, only that is, that is a moment in
- 0:26time. It's the current state.
- 0:28But it's also transient because deep down there is a very
- 0:31resourced part of you that you're actually just not
- 0:35connected with. And that's showing up as
- 0:37stuckness or as depression or as debilitating self sabotaging
- 0:41behaviours. So how to tap back into the
- 0:44desire is to reconnect with the most resourced part of yourself.
- 0:48And when you begin to feel yourself and recognize, wow,
- 0:51there is a part of me that knows how to show up and be powerful.
- 0:54There is a part of me that knows how to open myself to curiosity.
- 0:58There is a part of me that knows how to receive when you tap
- 1:02into. Hey, and welcome, welcome to the
- 1:12Genius Zone. And we've got a very much needed
- 1:18broadcast for you today. So if you happen to be a high
- 1:22achiever and you feel like you're constantly rescuing other
- 1:27people, you're always there for the people and taking
- 1:33responsibility even for those that you don't have to take
- 1:37responsibility for. And yet you know that at the
- 1:42core of your very inner truth, you're not being completely true
- 1:49to yourself. This is going to be all about
- 1:52coming back to your inner core. This is going to be about coming
- 1:56back and being true to who you are.
- 1:59And I am going to bring a beautiful lady.
- 2:03This lady is a hypnotherapist. She's a Pilates instructor,
- 2:06teacher trainer, and she has done extensive study on the
- 2:12topic, including even being an engineer in her field Once Upon
- 2:19a time. So thank you for joining us.
- 2:22Danielle, how are you? Good morning, Terry.
- 2:25I'm fabulous and it's such a pleasure to join you on your
- 2:29show today. It's an absolute pleasure to
- 2:32have you here and I think I could probably need a lot of
- 2:36your instruction today. So I guess what I'm going to
- 2:40start off with is the question, what is it about high
- 2:46performance women and high achievers that tend to neglect
- 2:53themselves and really be so busy taking care of other people that
- 2:58they forget who they are? An excellent entry point, Terry,
- 3:04just to put this into perspective, high achieving,
- 3:06high performing, high functioning women actually have
- 3:10developed a very intelligent way to manage moving forward in life
- 3:17where demands are very high. They're multitasking, they're
- 3:20raising families, they're pursuing challenging careers,
- 3:24they're working to level the playing field in male in our
- 3:27dominant male systems. Let's just leave it at that.
- 3:31And they're actually very good at it.
- 3:33That being said, there is a consequence.
- 3:36There's a cost for all this high functioning, over delivering,
- 3:39over accomplishment that actually I would say cost them a
- 3:44part of themselves that leads to a disconnect, their inability to
- 3:49sense themselves, to recognize what it is that they really
- 3:52deeply most desire from a soul level.
- 3:56So just to normalize that, it's not that it's anything wrong to
- 3:59be high achieving or high functioning, but if you, if
- 4:02that's the only thing you're good at such that it costs you
- 4:06yourself, your connection with yourself, then there is an
- 4:10issue. So you're a hypnotherapist, as I
- 4:13am as well. And I understand the
- 4:16subconscious brain. And the reason that we do things
- 4:20sometimes seems quite ludicrous. And one of the things is that
- 4:26when we are sabotaging ourself, quite often there is a higher
- 4:31purpose. So it's almost like what you're
- 4:34talking about is in reverse. Perhaps if we looked at this
- 4:38woman who's leaving herself behind, neglecting herself, not
- 4:43really being true to who she is and she's compensating for being
- 4:49high performing and taking on that role of almost being so
- 4:55that she is burdened. The fact is that she came from
- 5:00an era and a family of origin where the chances are that she
- 5:05learnt to take on that pattern when she was young.
- 5:09And I don't know about you, Danielle, part of the genius
- 5:11zone is most of the people that come on board and they're really
- 5:16specializing in their field. They know what it's like to be
- 5:21in that position themself. So I dare say you're a high
- 5:25achieving woman and I'm a high achieving woman.
- 5:29And I do know that I was one of those people.
- 5:33I think I was one of your classic clients that was so high
- 5:37performing. I burnt out in real estate.
- 5:40So I had to go all the time and I didn't stop.
- 5:44But really what I was doing is I was running away from something,
- 5:49but I was also falling into that performance trap maybe because
- 5:55as a child, because as children we don't really always have the
- 6:00true perspective of what's happening.
- 6:03So maybe if I was given attention, which I know I used
- 6:07to get a lot of attention from my father, if I did well, then
- 6:11automatically I think, oh, if I do really well and if I achieve
- 6:15a really high, then that's going to be great.
- 6:19But then it comes at a cost. So I know you've got a story and
- 6:24I want to move over to your story.
- 6:25But my story really has taken for not once, not twice, but
- 6:31perhaps three times where I've hit the wall.
- 6:35And I think the third time, the most recent one was a big shake
- 6:40up call of where I was able to go.
- 6:43Oh, I was able to see life and take it into perspective and say
- 6:47hang on a minute, I need to come back to who I am.
- 6:51And even though I don't regret developing those attributes, I
- 6:58guess I can say that I learnt them from a broken part of
- 7:03myself. But now I'm trying to bring them
- 7:07together. But tell us about your story,
- 7:10because I think you hit the wall yourself and just went not this
- 7:14is it. Thank you for sharing your
- 7:16story, Terry. I want to say that the
- 7:18experience you had growing up with your father, what you've
- 7:21shared with us is an experience that demonstrates what it means
- 7:26to associate love being conditional on performance.
- 7:30Meaning when I do well or when I do what's expected, what's
- 7:33required of me, then it feels safe.
- 7:36Then I feel like I belong. Then my father gives me warmth,
- 7:40then he's giving me attention. And just to speak to your
- 7:44experience sharing here, that's where these patterns of
- 7:50perfectionism, over performing, people pleasing are actually
- 7:53born. So I think your experience, as
- 7:56well as my experience, they're not.
- 7:58They're actually more universal than we can ever imagine, which
- 8:01is why it's also important to talk about this, because so many
- 8:03women actually feel that their struggle is uniquely theirs and
- 8:07their own, but it's actually a lot more common.
- 8:11Yes, absolutely. And I always say to that really
- 8:16we've got to remember where we did come from.
- 8:18And no matter how successful we become and many people who do
- 8:24become greatly successful, I think it's always a really good
- 8:29strategy to always just refer back.
- 8:32Now, one of the things you're trained in is a mechanical
- 8:36engineer. So I totally get that because a
- 8:42mechanical engineer, you've got a very good brain, so you're
- 8:46able to work things out. How have you been able to bring
- 8:49that into your service and really bring that to light to
- 8:54help other women? I love this question.
- 8:59So my first profession was as a mechanical engineer.
- 9:03What does that mean? You look at a system structure
- 9:07and you analyze it, you look at what's coming in, what are the
- 9:11inputs, what is the load, what is the capacity, what gets
- 9:14generated, where is their compensation, where is their
- 9:16dysfunction? And I guess that was being
- 9:19applied to mechanics, machinery. But when I stopped working in
- 9:23industry and became a mother full time, I recognized that
- 9:28this lens to be analyzing systems and patents.
- 9:32What's coming in, what's going out?
- 9:33Where is their overload? Where is their compensation?
- 9:36It was like that way of thinking was ingrained and I began to
- 9:40take that with me further along my trajectory.
- 9:42So I became a mother and alongside motherhood, I stepped
- 9:45into entrepreneurship. I built my own business.
- 9:50I founded my Pilates studio. And there I was drawing upon
- 9:54these unique lens again. But my object of study was the
- 9:58human body. Women were coming to me to train
- 10:02their cores, their pelvic strength before after
- 10:06childbirth, seeing patterns and symptoms show up again and again
- 10:11and recognizing, OK, yes, we can work with movement patterns.
- 10:14We can see where is the where is the system compensating?
- 10:18Where are we having inefficient movement and breathing that's
- 10:21costing you more energy than it really needs.
- 10:24So the system's lens thinking was already developed and it was
- 10:28being applied in a movement human body context and of recent
- 10:32years of the mind. Yeah, because I, as you said,
- 10:37I've, you mentioned, I'm a hypnotherapist.
- 10:38I'm also trained in transformational coaching.
- 10:41And that's also very much about being able to recognize what is
- 10:44the pattern here, where is there leakage of capacity, of
- 10:48authority, of vitality, of aliveness, What's the underlying
- 10:52narrative, What is the cost, what is the consequence and how
- 10:56do we want to use that to inform how we move forward.
- 10:59Well, those are some powerful questions, girl.
- 11:02I know one of my teachers, and she made her first million in no
- 11:09time being this incredible business coach.
- 11:14But she had a moment when she was doing a Pilates class.
- 11:17And they say that your body doesn't lie.
- 11:21And this is something that keeps coming up on all my podcasts
- 11:24lately. How we have trapped energy in
- 11:28our muscles. And she talks about how she was
- 11:32doing a class and she did a particular movement and I think
- 11:36it was down in the pelvic region, like the hips and the
- 11:41pelvis. And she moved and she released
- 11:46something that was obviously she'd been she'd gone through a
- 11:51marriage breakdown, She'd gone through a huge crisis.
- 11:55And apparently she fell apart in front of the whole class and she
- 12:00just totally wept. She was just crying.
- 12:04It was like her body just released.
- 12:08And I feel like it's these moments of time where we are
- 12:14going through a crisis that really take us into our
- 12:18superpower. But that's not always the case
- 12:21because some of us never learn. Some people are just repeating
- 12:25their patterns over and over again.
- 12:28But you said something to me backstage which I can really
- 12:32relate to, and that is that people are not accustomed to
- 12:38saying what they want, but they instead say what they don't
- 12:42want. So this is very typical.
- 12:44If people come to me, it's always I'm coming to you because
- 12:48I'm depressed, or I'm coming to you because I've got this
- 12:51emotional trauma, or I'm coming to you because I've got this
- 12:55addiction. But I'm yet to hear anyone come
- 12:59in and say I'm coming to you because I want to build a life
- 13:04that is fully aligned, that is full of vitality, where I can
- 13:09feel my best, where I'm healthy, vibrant and glowing.
- 13:13I'm yet to hear anything like that.
- 13:17I'm going to go through your step by step process, which
- 13:21people are going to absolutely love.
- 13:24And the first step is igniting potential and what do you want
- 13:30and what do you desire? So how do you elicit people to
- 13:34come to know what it is they want and what they desire?
- 13:40Yes, what you're speaking to Terry is my lived experience as
- 13:44well, especially in the realm of high functioning women who lack
- 13:49language or capacity to share with another what it is that
- 13:54they really most truly desire. And that is indicative of a
- 13:58pattern which is a disconnection with self.
- 14:03And when you ask me, OK, so how do you get a woman to speak to
- 14:07her desire, speak to what it is that she really wants?
- 14:12The first most critical step is to establish a reconnection with
- 14:15the self, with specifically the most resourced part of
- 14:20themselves. Because when a woman comes to
- 14:22you all, when a woman comes to me, they come.
- 14:25And this is the presenting problem and this is my issue,
- 14:27and this is what I need to get rid of.
- 14:29Or they're feeling stuck, stopped, can't get traction,
- 14:31momentum, whatever that is, only that is, that is a moment in
- 14:35time. It's the current state.
- 14:37But it's also transient because deep down there is a very
- 14:39resourced part of you that you're actually just not
- 14:44connected with. And that's showing up as
- 14:46stuckness or as depression or as debilitating self sabotaging
- 14:50behaviours. So how to tap back into the
- 14:53desire is to reconnect with the most resourced part of yourself.
- 14:57And when you begin to feel yourself and recognize, wow,
- 15:00there is a part of me that knows how to show up and be powerful.
- 15:03There is a part of me that knows how to open myself to curiosity.
- 15:06There is a part of me that knows how to receive.
- 15:10When you tap into that part of yourself, then you can begin to
- 15:14extrapolate the vision. Wow.
- 15:16Yeah. This is what I most deeply
- 15:18desire. For me.
- 15:19This is what I'm yearning to express.
- 15:21This is what I most deeply want to contribute.
- 15:25This is what I'm longing for. But that can't happen when there
- 15:28is an internal disconnect. Yeah, yeah.
- 15:31And it's almost as if people need to hit the wall first.
- 15:36Do you think that a lot of people crave what they don't
- 15:40perceive they have? Do I think that people crave
- 15:45what? They don't perceive they have if
- 15:49they don't perceive, like Tony Robbins, for example.
- 15:52So growing up, he had four stepfathers, apparently a very
- 15:57broken, dysfunctional family. They didn't really get to
- 16:01celebrate those celebrations that families do.
- 16:06So he craved to have that family life.
- 16:11He craved to have the ability to feed children and to give people
- 16:17that ability to live their fullest life and not be broken
- 16:22because he grew up broken. So that's where I'm saying, do
- 16:27you feel that people come from their deficit?
- 16:33I'm going to say yes or no. I think it's actually more
- 16:35nuanced. I definitely feel that depending
- 16:38on your family of origin and what you're exposed to, what
- 16:40your experience was, that can definitely create, I don't want
- 16:44to say deficit, but can create, let's say, gaps where you feel
- 16:48this is where I became stunted in my growth.
- 16:51And I'm not suggesting that's the thought that goes through
- 16:52your head. It's this is what I missed out
- 16:54on. That's what it feels like.
- 16:55This is what I was craving for, but I didn't get it.
- 16:59And that can be a driver because it's a gap and there is a
- 17:03yearning there to bridge that gap from where your growth
- 17:06became stunted to where this is what I'm capable of and actually
- 17:09I really have a great capacity to give myself.
- 17:12On the other hand, it can be that when you turn inwards and
- 17:18begin to recognize your own unique gifts, talents,
- 17:23contributions, uniqueness, that there is, I'm going to use a
- 17:28special word here, your Intelloki, your original group.
- 17:31Taloki. Oh, I haven't heard of that one
- 17:33before, it's not French. No, it's Greek.
- 17:37Oh, it's Greek. Oh, I should have known that.
- 17:40Yeah, you're, I'm saying on the one hand, it can be born from a
- 17:43gap. You spoke to the deficit, but it
- 17:45can also be born from destiny. This is what I'm.
- 17:48Hearing I love that this. Is what I'm here to become.
- 17:50And that is your Intelloki, the art of becoming what you are
- 17:54here in your through your own unique blueprint.
- 17:58What the universe? I love that.
- 18:00This is your language now, Tony. What you here are destined to
- 18:04become, to contribute, to express through you, that is
- 18:07your intelli key. I'll give you an example, and
- 18:11I'm drawing upon this, the sharings from Doctor Jean
- 18:14Houston, who's been one of my great mentors in terms of
- 18:17intelli key. What is intelli key?
- 18:18Let's make this more visceral and tangible for our audience.
- 18:22A rose doesn't just become a rose, it's a rose.
- 18:26Seed is destined to grow and bloom into a rose, and acorn is
- 18:30destined to become an oak tree. So the imprint is already there.
- 18:34It's just bringing that seed, that starting point, into an
- 18:38environment with the right conditions so that it can truly
- 18:41become. That's what Intelli Key is, and
- 18:43it's no different for humans. I love that the art of becoming
- 18:49beautiful. I'm pretty sure what I.
- 18:51Thought it's so hard to become we, we're human beings and yet
- 18:57we act like we're human doings we're doing and that art of
- 19:01becoming and what you did say, because we have air and we have
- 19:06abundant air, we're not looking for air because it's there.
- 19:11And I guess if people have got really good health, they may not
- 19:15be looking for health because they've got it.
- 19:18But then what will happen if they lose it, if they suddenly
- 19:23lost? Like I, I went years thinking
- 19:26that I wanted to be successful. And all I ever taught on was
- 19:31health, freedom, success. And that was it.
- 19:35Health, freedom, success, health, freedom success.
- 19:37They're not bad, right? Health and freedom, fabulous.
- 19:41But this success business, it was very performative.
- 19:46So you were the high achiever, you were the people pleaser, you
- 19:50were doing and then you were burning out and you weren't
- 19:53sustainable. And what I did find, and this
- 19:57has come through my third wave. When I say third wave, let's
- 20:01call it the dark night of the soul.
- 20:03That third dark night of the soul, which was recently really
- 20:08brought my life to a standstill where I recognized what truly
- 20:13was important. And that art of becoming was not
- 20:19forced, because forced sounds again like a doing word, but it
- 20:24became part of who I became as a result of the dark night of the
- 20:32soul. And then I was able to see
- 20:36success. What is success anyway?
- 20:40And that's when I was able to really come into what is really
- 20:46important for me. So when you're helping people to
- 20:50discover what they're desiring and what they're longing for and
- 20:55what they're yearning, tell me a little bit about that.
- 20:58What happens for them when they discover it?
- 21:04There's a very unique energy that can be witnessed.
- 21:10There's like a different animation in my clients whole
- 21:16features, their whole expression on their face, their posturing
- 21:21in their body. It's almost like something has
- 21:24been ignited or electrified or kicked start or sparked and it's
- 21:29tangible, it's visible and it's almost like a rebirth.
- 21:33So you've spoken several times on this chat already to deficit
- 21:37and breakdown and my third wave, my my dark night of the soul.
- 21:41These are all threshold moments. You reach a point in your life
- 21:44that you recognize it no longer fits.
- 21:49And that's quite a scary. It can be quite scary, scary for
- 21:54maybe maybe a better word might be could be debilitating because
- 21:57who you've known yourself to be again, this is not who you're
- 22:00here to become. This is an evolution.
- 22:03This is you lose yourself. And I feel like you find
- 22:08yourself when you lose yourself. Oh, beautiful.
- 22:10That's the point. The question is, do you take
- 22:14that leap and trust that who that step is to bring me further
- 22:20towards who I am here to become? Because many women, they will
- 22:24delay. They will delay because it's not
- 22:27the right time, it's inconvenient.
- 22:30I'll focus on it next quarter when my kids are grown up, when
- 22:33I've finally figured my life out, when I've and it's.
- 22:37These are all hidden internal agreements to not to essentially
- 22:42not act. And I'm not saying this in any
- 22:44this is not shaming. This is non judgement.
- 22:46This is observation. From life.
- 22:48From my work, that delay can cost you your life.
- 22:53Not I don't mean your life, but your capacity to be leading a
- 22:57life fully alive. Let's put it that way.
- 22:59This is where I loved the quantum leap vision of literally
- 23:04leaping into the future, you would say when you're 85 years
- 23:09old and having the opportunity to look back and go, Oh my gosh,
- 23:15why didn't I just do that? Because all those things that we
- 23:20are making excuses up for is really our subconscious mind
- 23:24wanting to protect us. And yet, if we had a different
- 23:28perspective when we got out of the way of ourself, you know
- 23:31that's going to change everything, right?
- 23:34Yes, yes. The reason why it feels so risky
- 23:39is because it's asking us to be someone we have not yet been.
- 23:43It's asking us to find a way of moving through life for which we
- 23:48have no set reference point. That's why it feels uncertain.
- 23:52It feels like a threat, but it feels very risky.
- 23:55And at the same time that, Terry, that is the growth edge,
- 24:00that is what's asking you. That's so good.
- 24:03Yeah. Yeah, that's so good.
- 24:05The growth edge, we're on edge Radio Australia.
- 24:09Oh. My God, I love that.
- 24:11Yeah, yeah, yeah. I, oh gosh, that's just, there's
- 24:13so many gold Nuggets just right there.
- 24:17And I know that what you love doing is breaking that glass
- 24:22ceiling for people and teaching these women who are high
- 24:26performing, high achieving that they are good enough.
- 24:30They are good enough as they are, as who they are at their
- 24:34core. They don't have to perform
- 24:36anymore. And look, this goes for men too.
- 24:38Look, there's men out there. I work with men and women and
- 24:43they have very high expectations and very high standards and put
- 24:49themselves under a lot of pressure.
- 24:51But let's talk about smashing the glass ceiling.
- 24:56So obviously we all have a ceiling and we all have that.
- 25:00Ah, yeah, that's where I can go. I can't go any bigger and better
- 25:05than that. So do you think it takes a
- 25:09person to lose themself to literally?
- 25:14Like for me, one of the things, I won't go into detail, but I
- 25:19have done exactly what you just spoke about, which is all my
- 25:23reference points have been shifted, but not by any kind of
- 25:28intention, but because half of my life has changed.
- 25:33So all my reference points have gone half of them.
- 25:38So that causes you to emerged and I guess rebirth, but could
- 25:45that be a key that if you practice the right techniques
- 25:51like what you're doing here, that can also help us
- 25:54breakthrough that glass ceiling of limitation?
- 25:58Absolutely. And what I want to share with
- 26:00you in that process is that it requires a very specific, I'm
- 26:06going to use the word container of holding, a container of
- 26:11holding. So you spoke to, I almost feel
- 26:14like I had to lose myself. And what you were losing was
- 26:21your identity of that time. Oh my gosh.
- 26:25Because it's all about it identity work at the end of the
- 26:27day, yes. Absolutely.
- 26:30But I want to keep this tangible for our audience.
- 26:32What do you mean, Danielle? Your identity, like we said,
- 26:35it's who you've known yourself to be, how you've oriented
- 26:38yourself in your space, in your environment, in your greater
- 26:41circle of friends, acquaintances and colleagues at your work, at
- 26:44home. It's like you have all these
- 26:46different roles, but it's who you've known yourself and how
- 26:49you've normally functioned and the process of losing yourself.
- 26:52It's really, how about I've out putting on put let's try this on
- 26:55for size. What if I've outgrown this
- 26:58context I of being and that can indeed feel like a sense of I'm
- 27:02losing myself. It's really I've outgrown this
- 27:05way of being functioning in Oftentimes it shows up as pain
- 27:11points, as symptoms. It's not like you wake up and
- 27:14you say, oh, I'm fed up with this way of being.
- 27:16No, it's actually showing up and out picturing as self sabotaging
- 27:19behaviours, coming back to the high achieving woman or or the
- 27:24one who over functions the cost people pleasing or taking care
- 27:30of other people's needs at nauseam without any reflection
- 27:33or consideration of your own. This is how it shows up and you
- 27:35recognize this is not sustainable.
- 27:37This is not how I want to keep being.
- 27:39I want to show up in a life with the identity of a woman that
- 27:42recognizes my care belongs in my greatest circle of care.
- 27:46That's an identity shift as opposed to it's my job to take
- 27:50care of everybody else's needs 1st and then I'll take care of
- 27:53myself. So that is the identity shift.
- 27:55Just giving you a real example for our listeners because I want
- 27:58them to also feel what does that really mean to shift identity
- 28:03and coming back to your inner glass ceilings.
- 28:05Those are essentially just underlying scripts, let's say,
- 28:09deeper narratives, old stories running in the background of our
- 28:13mind that are actually out picturing as our reality.
- 28:18That sounded very abstract, I agree, but it's basically
- 28:21that's. Great.
- 28:22That's great. Yeah, it's basically what is the
- 28:26inner glass ceiling. It's basically an internal
- 28:29narrative, a story that dictates who are you, who are others, and
- 28:35what is and isn't possible for me.
- 28:37And depending how that narrative is rolling out, it could be
- 28:41limiting you, capping you, stopping you, holding you in
- 28:44place, or it could be inviting you to expand.
- 28:48But at that point of the process, it's usually, let's
- 28:50identify what is that inner story?
- 28:53What is the story beneath the story that's keeping you stuck,
- 28:56that's dictating what you can and cannot achieve, what you,
- 28:59what is or isn't possible for you, what you do or don't
- 29:01deserve. That's the process of breaking
- 29:04the inner barrier because there are stories there that are not
- 29:07serving you and your growth. And that's what it means to
- 29:09break that level. Yeah, so smash that ceiling off
- 29:15you guys. And you know what we've
- 29:18discussed so far, I'm just going to reiterate is step one
- 29:22igniting your potential. And I love the way Danielle asks
- 29:27these absolutely kick butt questions.
- 29:30So you can only imagine if you're in the hot seat next or
- 29:33beside Danielle, what that's going to look like in your life
- 29:37with questions like what is your deepest desire and what are you
- 29:41truly longing for or and what do you yearn for?
- 29:44And then tapping into those barriers of those constructs of
- 29:50your family of origin and where you set up your beliefs and
- 29:55coming into your own truth and reflecting on how you can become
- 30:01deeply alive. And then Step 2 is breaking the
- 30:05glass ceiling, releasing those subconscious limiting beliefs
- 30:09and survival structures. And that, as you've heard
- 30:14Danielle talk about, is all around your identity.
- 30:17Who the heck am I? You could be asking that
- 30:20question, who am I? Who do I want to be and who am I
- 30:24in that situation? I find myself asking that a lot.
- 30:27If I'm meet with a challenge, I will say who am I in that role?
- 30:33Because I'm probably, as you're talking about, referring back to
- 30:38something that's triggered me, that's caused my identity to
- 30:42shift in that limiting belief. This is what Danielle does and
- 30:47what she is going to help you do is to literally shift the needle
- 30:54breakthrough. And then we're going to come up
- 30:58to Step 3, which is the breakthrough story.
- 31:02So let's go over and beyond into the story of who you be.
- 31:09Can you talk to us about the Breakthrough story?
- 31:12Yes, the breakthrough story is also an incredibly powerful step
- 31:17in the process because that is what is what gets to be born
- 31:23from your true essence? What is a deeper truth about who
- 31:29you are? What is the deeper truth about
- 31:32what is possible for you? And that is a beautiful moment
- 31:35when a woman recognizes wow. It's it's not up to anyone else
- 31:39who gets to decide what I can be or do or achieve or have
- 31:45ambition for. It's like a realization I am a
- 31:50powerful creator or I am an extendedly happy woman in a
- 31:56beautifully growth nourishing marriage.
- 31:59These this is what it means to have a breakthrough story.
- 32:01A woman begins to recognize my needs.
- 32:04My needs and preferences and desires matter just as deeply as
- 32:07those in my circle of care. And it becomes from these almost
- 32:11like power statements, but they begin to create the arc of a new
- 32:14story which begin to navigate then your life, specifically the
- 32:18behaviours of being going forward, which leads us into the
- 32:22next step, which I'm not sure. You want to introduce, this is
- 32:25the number four step is very exciting.
- 32:28And I will add too, I think it's fair to say that when you are
- 32:32working with Danielle, so Danielle works in a bespoke way.
- 32:36So she will meet you personally where you're at.
- 32:40So Danielle believes there are no two blueprints, there's only
- 32:43one fingerprint. She will work with you
- 32:45specifically when you are moving through these steps, as we're
- 32:51being taught here, you're going to find that stepping into that
- 32:56breakthrough and then into that new narrative is going to come
- 33:00easy. But then we go to the most
- 33:04important part. And NLP has a little
- 33:08presupposition about this and it that is the map is not the
- 33:11territory, but you're talking about mapping the growth
- 33:16pathway. Is that remapping?
- 33:20Remapping. I would say it could be
- 33:22perceived as remapping. It's basically starting to be
- 33:31and move through life in ways that reflect that new narrative.
- 33:37What is an ecstatically, happily, What is an ecstatically
- 33:41happy woman look like? How does she move?
- 33:45How does she speak to her spouse?
- 33:47How does she engage with him? How does she connect?
- 33:49How does she receive from him? And these are all questions that
- 33:54or prompts that get you to step into a different way of being
- 33:58that is synonymous with the new story.
- 34:00And when you map how this growth actually looks, it's not just
- 34:05what does it look, taste and feel like.
- 34:08It's also a shift in mindset, but it's also a recognition of
- 34:12maybe I do need to develop specific skills and capacities
- 34:16that have been missing or got stunted in my growth.
- 34:19Maybe I would need to call upon this and this resource or this
- 34:24person and they can help me how to better navigate conflict
- 34:27resolutions or not just that. It's not just the shift in
- 34:29mindset or the recognition of what skills and capacities do I
- 34:32need to build here. It's also about what structures
- 34:35are going to support this becoming so.
- 34:37It's a recognition of putting support pieces, resources, even
- 34:43people into a way that are going to support the moving through
- 34:48into the embodiment, the being, the behaviours of the new
- 34:51narrative. And when those new behaviours
- 34:55stick, that is when you can say transformation has taken place.
- 34:59Because we can have as many insights and aha moments and
- 35:02breakthrough moments as we like. But only when you can
- 35:06consistently move through life. Life happens, obstacles come,
- 35:10setbacks come, and the old pattern could and may resurface.
- 35:15When you see it, you recognize it, and you choose a different
- 35:19way of responding. That is when you know growth has
- 35:21happened. That is when transformation is
- 35:23beginning to stabilize. Wow, this is the highest level
- 35:28of coaching from an engineer and engineering this whole process.
- 35:35And as we were talking backstage, I've got the copy
- 35:39here. So I love the word embodiment.
- 35:41So Danielle touched on embodying and that's huge.
- 35:47Aligning your actions with your inner truth because congruence
- 35:52is so important. Leading from essence rather than
- 35:56exhaustion. So this is what Danielle is all
- 35:59about. So she's going to teach you how
- 36:02to lead from your core and the center of you so it's
- 36:07sustainable. So you're not going to be burnt
- 36:10out, washed up offshore 6 months from now, but you're going to be
- 36:15in that total vibrancy of your life where you can lead from
- 36:21essence without exhaustion, creating relationships because
- 36:26Danielle understands that relationships is really the true
- 36:29heart of everything. So that's all rooted in
- 36:34authenticity. So we don't have much time for
- 36:37much, but I'm just going to go through the Sovereign Guide
- 36:39principle and that was around relationships, performance being
- 36:46dissolved and presence replacing pressure.
- 36:52So, so presence replacing performance.
- 36:58So how do people get in contact with you so that they can come
- 37:04into re anchoring themself and regulating their nervous system
- 37:12and reconnecting with who they truly are?
- 37:15Where will they find you? Sure.
- 37:19I would suggest first point of contact would be
- 37:22daniellemoves.com which will Orient you to specifically my
- 37:28services around transformational coaching and hypnotherapy.
- 37:33You can easily book into a conversation there.
- 37:36I start with a conversation with all people who are interested in
- 37:40this kind of work. It is deep work and I would say
- 37:44trust rapport is absolutely required.
- 37:48And 1st, it's a non binding, non committal conversation to test
- 37:53for readiness and for it to help you recognize or self identify,
- 37:59self locate. Am I indeed standing at one such
- 38:02threshold? And that will become apparent in
- 38:05our conversation. So the easiest way is to reach
- 38:07out via danielmoves.com and to if you're ready to have that
- 38:11conversation with myself again, it's non binding, non committal
- 38:14and you will definitely have clarity by the end of that call
- 38:18whether it's right to move ahead or to move in a different
- 38:21direction. And we have extensive show notes
- 38:27and you will be able to find all Danielle's links in those show
- 38:31notes. And you know, if you're ready to
- 38:34reconnect with your true essence, become really crystal
- 38:39clear in your desire and your direction in life, whilst really
- 38:45coming back to who you are and releasing all of these external
- 38:50limiting barriers that have been keeping you stuck, then you've
- 38:56got to get in contact with this lady.
- 38:58But it wouldn't be the genius sign if I didn't ask this one
- 39:01question because I know that the moment people get off the show,
- 39:06they'll go, oh, if there was one thing you would love to say to
- 39:11that person who is praying for your service, what would it be?
- 39:16Or what would you reiterate that we've already spoken about?
- 39:21I know myself, you've said so much about grounding breath,
- 39:26what you've touched on so much. What would you say to that high
- 39:31performing woman that is at the end of the her tether?
- 39:39A beautiful question. What I want to say, most of the
- 39:42high achieving, high functioning woman is this.
- 39:46You are not broken. You do not need fixing.
- 39:49You do not need another optimization hack, protocol, or
- 39:52strategy. What you first need to do is to
- 39:55listen to yourself to those signals that your body has been
- 40:00giving you for a long time, and to actually give yourself
- 40:05permission to respond to those signals you already know.
- 40:12You already know you're on the cusp, standing at that
- 40:16threshold, ready to start directing your life in a way
- 40:21that is. Synonymous with your destiny
- 40:24path, meaning you get to choose who you become and how you want
- 40:30to leave. Leave your life feeling fully
- 40:33alive and fully present. Wow.
- 40:38I tell you what, I got a lot out of this.
- 40:39My whole physical presence changed just by sitting in front
- 40:45of you and listening to your questions.
- 40:48Danielle, I want to thank you so much for coming on the show and
- 40:52you're welcome back anytime because I think the journey has
- 40:55just begun. It's been my pleasure, Terry.
- 40:59Thank you so much for a beautiful session.
- 41:00I've thoroughly enjoyed this conversation.
