  And even though intuition is in financial information, just going by for the information on the market, I'm expecting Aradel and FCMB numbers to be out anytime from now. So we decided to kind of hold on a bit to see if those numbers will come out. But the time is 8 minutes past 8 p.m. We are yet to get those numbers. So let's get into what we already have, a summary of the day's trading activities.

  It was a robust trading session today. The All Share Index gained 0.26%. The index measures the average performance of stocks on the exchange. And what drove the market today, I believe, were gains in a couple of heavyweight stocks. Notably among them was Aradale. Aradale had a big bounce today. In fact, let's see what's close at, ladies and gentlemen. Aradale is an oil.

  and gas firm and so it's a big cap stock movement in that stock and when you have a big cap stock close in the green then it tends to leave the market so i already did almost 10 today i closed at a thousand nine hundred and uh and thirty three naira and eighty copper one thousand nine hundred and thirty three nine eighty copper so it was movement in ara del uh that led uh to the bounce you had uh in the market uh today but let's get back into the numbers

  And so the ASI, the oil share index, up by 0.26%. That index measures the average performance of stocks on the exchange. They had 1.2 billion shares valued at 43.3 billion Naira, traded in a bit over 93,400 deals. On the general side of things, sub-interest insurance gained 10%, closing at 2.75 Naira. Zichis gained 10% as well, closing at 33 Naira. And then you had international energy insurance appreciating by 9.85%, closing at 4.52 Naira.

  on the loser side of things austin last uh fell ten percent closing at three nine ninety six couple premier pains fell ten percent as well closing at thirty three nine seventy five couple a cap fell ten percent as well uh closing a hundred and seventy nine and ten couple uh fidelity bank was the most actively traded stock by volume and value on the volume side of things flurry bound to proposition with 482.9 million shares traded and next was assets corporation 133.2 million shares traded and then third place was steep

  with 81.7 million shares trade. On the value side of things, you had Fidelity Bank with 8.72 billion Naira worth of shares traded. Second place, Arada with 4.95 billion Naira worth of shares traded. And then third place, Asset Corporation with 3.22 billion Naira worth of shares traded. And what else happened in the markets today? I think so far, we're still waiting for, if we can get any numbers from FCMB Group and Arada. But I think the biggest news so far,

  was TIP, the Initiates PLC, saying they've acquired an additional 20% stake in the Initiates Uganda. And so the additional 20% stake was acquired at $2.02 million. And the deal was funded through internal cash flow. In any case, we'll be having the management of TIP on the Green Ticketing Twitter space.
