- 0:24Speaker 2: Hello and welcome.
- 0:25Speaker 3: This is Casey Hires back at the Millionaire Dentist Podcast
- 0:27Speaker 3: in studio with co host Jared Bridgeman.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Casey, how are you today? You know I'm feeling strong.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Are you been working out?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Not just because I got a B twelve shot yesterday,
- 0:37Speaker 3: the more so because of our guest. Oh, anytime Steve
- 0:41Speaker 3: Levy is in the house? Pipes Yes, yeah, CPA JD
- 0:46Speaker 3: attorney knows how to do taxes, stud singer. We just
- 0:50Speaker 3: had our corporate Christmas party and there might have been
- 0:54Speaker 3: an impromptu happy birthday that could only be led by
- 0:58Speaker 3: one person. That's right, the ev aka Pipes Levy, who
- 1:02Speaker 3: graciously came up and belted it out.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Well, you know, I do what I can. Welcome.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Good to see you again and thank you for gracing
- 1:10Speaker 3: us with your presence and more importantly giving our listeners
- 1:13Speaker 3: some really good expertise.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Something beyond just Casey and I just jabbering. So this
- 1:18Speaker 2: is pretty exciting. Okay, yeah, yeah, I mean we're you know, we're.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Mid at jabbering, but you really elevate it. We've got
- 1:25Speaker 3: a twenty eight part podcast today. Kind of joking though.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Steve's good at detail and and that's appreciated, so we
- 1:33Speaker 3: kind of have a six parter. It all is going
- 1:35Speaker 3: to flow together today, but Jared and I are probably
- 1:38Speaker 3: just going to play tennis or ping pong and keep
- 1:41Speaker 3: bouncing back different topics and things that are wall You're
- 1:44Speaker 3: all going to just tie into a beautiful, beautiful podcast for.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Steve. I wanted to start off today. Not that long
- 1:52Speaker 2: ago you came on here, did a podcast with us
- 1:54Speaker 2: about b O I can you give me a quick
- 1:57Speaker 2: refresher on what BOI stands for and why you're wanting
- 2:00Speaker 2: to bring this up today.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I started using more deodorant. I mean, I know I
- 2:04Speaker 3: listened to that podcast. Oh yeah, never mind.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I should intelligence right, I shouldn't share that. Yeah.
- 2:12Speaker 4: So BOI reporting, So just as a recap, BOI is
- 2:17Speaker 4: the Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting, and that basically entails that
- 2:23Speaker 4: any entity that is registered with a state's Secretary of
- 2:29Speaker 4: State needs to file this.
- 2:31Speaker 2: That's really the rule there. And this was a newer
- 2:34Speaker 2: thing that just within the last couple of.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Years right now really just this year, any practice owner
- 2:39Speaker 3: who's practice is a business would fall into this.
- 2:42Speaker 4: That the LLC where the property is being held, any
- 2:47Speaker 4: LC you name it. Really it's if it's organized and
- 2:51Speaker 4: needs to file essentially. And so what we're coming up
- 2:55Speaker 4: with is the deadline for filing your initial report by
- 3:03Speaker 4: pretty much the end of the year if you existed
- 3:08Speaker 4: prior to twenty twenty four.
- 3:10Speaker 3: So the percentage of our listeners just turned up the
- 3:12Speaker 3: volume and said, wait what, there's a deadline, and.
- 3:15Speaker 4: There's a deadline and hefty penalties if you know you
- 3:18Speaker 4: can go back. And we talked about that it's about
- 3:21Speaker 4: five hundred per day in each day you haven't filed it.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Now here's a wrinkle for this. Just about a week
- 3:29Speaker 4: ago in Texas, there was a federal court that's that
- 3:34Speaker 4: while a case is going on that is kind of
- 3:37Speaker 4: against this filing, they ruled a temporary injunction to kind
- 3:43Speaker 4: of stop the requirement to file, which, of course Department
- 3:48Speaker 4: of Treasury is appealing because they want to enforce.
- 3:51Speaker 3: As they want more of we the people's money.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Now here's the scary thing, sorry, Jared. The scary thing is.
- 4:01Speaker 4: There's probably about a third of these filings that have
- 4:05Speaker 4: actually been filed of the entire population that has that
- 4:11Speaker 4: needs to file it. And so we're getting to kind
- 4:14Speaker 4: of a scary point. And this injunction, while maybe feels
- 4:19Speaker 4: like it, it might push things along. If it gets appealed,
- 4:23Speaker 4: it's back on the deadline is and end of year
- 4:27Speaker 4: file it or penalty start accruing. So the safe thing
- 4:32Speaker 4: to do, it's really fast filing. All you need is name, address,
- 4:37Speaker 4: and tax identification number of your entity as well as
- 4:42Speaker 4: of any owner that is twenty five percent or more
- 4:46Speaker 4: of that entity. Their driver's license. You have to upload
- 4:51Speaker 4: a copy and their address and their.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Betterficial our driver's license, not this little database.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I mean, they could get it, but this is probably
- 5:02Speaker 4: a way to kind of connect the dots a little more.
- 5:05Speaker 2: But it's really fast. We've done it.
- 5:06Speaker 4: For our clients, just do it and be on the
- 5:09Speaker 4: safe side so you don't have to worry about it.
- 5:11Speaker 3: So for non client listeners, then they should reach out
- 5:14Speaker 3: to their accounting professionals to do this for them ideally,
- 5:17Speaker 3: but they can do it themselves.
- 5:18Speaker 4: They can do it themselves. There are many that are
- 5:22Speaker 4: sending solicitation letters, attorneys, CPAs, organizations you've never heard of
- 5:28Speaker 4: that say we're the BOI people that are taking advantage. Really,
- 5:33Speaker 4: I feel of this really simple filing.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Oh man, I missed a business opportunity here. I mean
- 5:39Speaker 2: to lonch something with you.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I mean, that's why we're getting a lot of questions like, hey,
- 5:45Speaker 4: I got this, what do you think. I'm like, well,
- 5:47Speaker 4: we already took care of that, so but just take
- 5:50Speaker 4: care of it however you want to do it, so
- 5:53Speaker 4: you don't have to sweat it.
- 5:54Speaker 3: And now, Steve, you said one third have done this,
- 5:59Speaker 3: so you're saying two thirds of people that should have
- 6:02Speaker 3: not done this according to official numbers from the Department
- 6:06Speaker 3: of Treasury.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Is that accurate estimates? I'd say on that.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Wow, so a lot of people are asleep at this
- 6:12Speaker 3: unaware a couple of weeks left.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yikes. So just do it, take care of it so
- 6:18Speaker 2: you don't have to worry about it. Wow.
- 6:19Speaker 3: That's uh. I mean, people just got their money's worth
- 6:23Speaker 3: right there. We're just gonna wrap it up sign of
- 6:25Speaker 3: good stuff. Well, everybody, we no, I appreciate you bringing
- 6:28Speaker 3: that up, even though we have touched on this topic before.
- 6:31Speaker 3: It's a good public service announcement. If you're a millionaire
- 6:34Speaker 3: in this podcast, listener, there you go make sure your
- 6:37Speaker 3: BOI reporting is.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And if you're not one, what are you doing here?
- 6:40Speaker 2: And tell your friends? Right?
- 6:43Speaker 3: So, holiday season a lot of fun, lot of stress.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I just went to year old stomping grounds on the
- 6:49Speaker 3: Circle that Indiana Symphony.
- 6:52Speaker 2: What's that venue called the well Hilbert Circle Theater?
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah, le Tide, Yeah, sure, Sandy. I just got drug there.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I did not drugged. I got dragged drugs to it
- 7:06Speaker 3: and I had no idea what it was. It was beautiful,
- 7:09Speaker 3: It was a great time. They had sugar cookies at
- 7:12Speaker 3: the concession stand that were excellent. But holiday time a
- 7:17Speaker 3: lot of practice owners like to take care of their
- 7:19Speaker 3: staff and team, which is excellent stats. We know staff
- 7:22Speaker 3: and team are hard to find, good ones and loyal ones.
- 7:24Speaker 3: You want to take care of them. Holiday bonuses, payroll
- 7:28Speaker 3: reporting that those are great things to do. Now caveat
- 7:31Speaker 3: If you're overheads ninety percent, you probably shouldn't be focused
- 7:34Speaker 3: on giving a bunch of bonuses out because you're going
- 7:37Speaker 3: to drive your business into the ground, which benefits no one.
- 7:39Speaker 2: That's a sidebar. But holiday bonuses.
- 7:42Speaker 3: And payroll reporting, you would you would wanted to touch
- 7:44Speaker 3: on that, and I'm wildly curious to hear more.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 4: So, like you said, a lot of practice owners want
- 7:50Speaker 4: to be generous around the holiday time and give cash,
- 7:54Speaker 4: get certificate, hs, whatnot. Well, the caveat with that is
- 7:58Speaker 4: that it's not a pure gift because it's an employer
- 8:02Speaker 4: employee relationship. So anytime you give anything pretty much to
- 8:08Speaker 4: your employees, that's considered compensation.
- 8:11Speaker 3: How about if duffel bags are just randomly left around
- 8:14Speaker 3: like the office, is that a gray area or is
- 8:16Speaker 3: that frowned upon?
- 8:18Speaker 4: I don't know the circumstances behind that, so I can't
- 8:21Speaker 4: give an opinion, So I don't know what that's about.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Just deny. Yeah.
- 8:26Speaker 4: But so anytime you give anything to your employees because
- 8:31Speaker 4: of the relationship, it's considered compensation. And what does compensation
- 8:35Speaker 4: need to have? Happened to be reported under payroll?
- 8:40Speaker 2: Now?
- 8:40Speaker 4: A lot of times and really the easiest thing to
- 8:43Speaker 4: do is tell your payroll provider. Okay, I've given these
- 8:48Speaker 4: amounts or gift certificates in this value to my employees,
- 8:54Speaker 4: here's what they got. Here's what each of them received.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Can you kind of cover the fight a tax for them?
- 9:01Speaker 4: And what that means is you've got already the net amount,
- 9:06Speaker 4: so what they do. What you should do is have
- 9:08Speaker 4: them gross it up so that the actual amount.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Like if you wanted to give someone one hundred dollars, right,
- 9:14Speaker 2: you would technically give more for the taxes taken out
- 9:17Speaker 2: than equals.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Undred exactly, and you're pretty much covering the tax in
- 9:21Speaker 4: that way.
- 9:21Speaker 2: They're not paying the tax.
- 9:23Speaker 4: You're covering both their share and your share of that fights.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And this is and this is because it's a bonus.
- 9:28Speaker 2: It's taxed, Yeah, deffinitely than compensation a little bit a little.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Bit more yeah, yeah, I mean it's a unique situation
- 9:34Speaker 4: where it's not on there on like a regular compensation schedule,
- 9:37Speaker 4: but it is compensation. So even though you're you're paying,
- 9:42Speaker 4: and if you don't report it as compensation then it
- 9:46Speaker 4: could be non deductible. So that's also a drawback on that.
- 9:50Speaker 4: So go ahead, say and and the quicker. You can
- 9:53Speaker 4: get this information to your payroll provider.
- 9:56Speaker 2: The quicker.
- 9:56Speaker 4: You can make sure that it's timely reported there so
- 10:00Speaker 4: that you don't have any like changes later on.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Is there a point of no return in terms of
- 10:08Speaker 2: reporting that.
- 10:09Speaker 4: No, I mean you can you can amend the now
- 10:14Speaker 4: more complicated exactly, you can have it amended. But if
- 10:18Speaker 4: it's you know, they would be issued their W twos
- 10:21Speaker 4: and then have amended W two's and that kind of mess.
- 10:25Speaker 4: So just go ahead and report it, have it grossed up.
- 10:28Speaker 4: You're covering the fight attacks on it, and everybody's good.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Steve. Going off of that, you know, Casey mentioned earlier
- 10:35Speaker 2: that we had our corporate holiday party over this past weekend,
- 10:38Speaker 2: and I'm sure a lot of practice owners and people
- 10:40Speaker 2: out there are also having their own company holiday parties.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So Chris Christmas Party, Chris, Chris Christmas holiday. You know,
- 10:50Speaker 2: happy quals everybody. But and hanakah, thank you. I'm assuming
- 10:54Speaker 2: there's some kind of tax you know, situation that goes
- 10:57Speaker 2: on with throwing on a holiday party.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it's kind of the exception to a lot of
- 11:02Speaker 4: the rules for deducting things like meals and entertainment. So, uh,
- 11:08Speaker 4: it's pretty much the the one time you can one
- 11:12Speaker 4: hundred percent deduct entertainment. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to
- 11:15Speaker 4: deduct it at all. So let's say you had a
- 11:17Speaker 4: group outing that you took your employees to, like a show,
- 11:22Speaker 4: those tickets normally wouldn't be deductible at all. But in
- 11:26Speaker 4: that kind of group outing where you've got your employees
- 11:30Speaker 4: coming with you, or and you know, you bring in
- 11:32Speaker 4: a karaoke host.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Right right, so i'll get number later. Yeah, go for that.
- 11:38Speaker 4: So that's situation one hundred percent deductible. Also meals that
- 11:43Speaker 4: is another one hundred percent deductible situation. That's a real
- 11:47Speaker 4: carve out for just this particular kind of off it.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Also it's for holiday, it's also if if it's for
- 11:55Speaker 4: like a summer outing, that's another Like you bring a
- 11:58Speaker 4: whole company to a ball game, get tickets meals a
- 12:04Speaker 4: company outing.
- 12:05Speaker 3: So I shouldn't feel bad for ordering a medium rare
- 12:07Speaker 3: filet over like a hot dog or a piece of chicken,
- 12:11Speaker 3: because it's all getting deducted.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's correct, where you feeling bad not really?
- 12:16Speaker 4: Okay, no, not really just order, just go for it.
- 12:22Speaker 4: So that that's a carve out the So.
- 12:24Speaker 2: But for that to be the case, that has to
- 12:25Speaker 2: be the entire company.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Yeah, really sort of a so like if you ever
- 12:29Speaker 4: want to by now, not everybody has to show, right,
- 12:32Speaker 4: you can't.
- 12:32Speaker 2: But like if you had a departmental outing like front
- 12:35Speaker 2: staff versus hygienists, if you only took out your front
- 12:38Speaker 2: desk staff, that would not count towards this exactly. It's
- 12:41Speaker 2: kind of over the year. If every department did at
- 12:44Speaker 2: the same amount of times. Does that Is that a
- 12:47Speaker 2: curveball I just threw you?
- 12:48Speaker 4: Well, I mean it's you know, there's there's gray area
- 12:51Speaker 4: as usual, but really it's they wanted to be a
- 12:55Speaker 4: widespread outing situation.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Steve, I want to bring up a pretty big keyword
- 13:02Speaker 2: buzzword that flies around a lot lately, inflation. Let's talk
- 13:06Speaker 2: about the twenty twenty five inflationary changes if you don't mind,
- 13:09Speaker 2: So you know, federal brackets will say for a one
- 13:11Speaker 2: k increases.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah, so each year there's an adjustment in the federal brackets,
- 13:17Speaker 4: which I mean in that situation, a certain amount of
- 13:22Speaker 4: your income gets taxed at each tax rate. So it's
- 13:27Speaker 4: like buckets for twenty twenty five up to if you're married,
- 13:33Speaker 4: up to about twenty four thousand gets taxed at ten
- 13:36Speaker 4: thousand and then you take away that amount of income,
- 13:41Speaker 4: and then above that amount and up to say ninety
- 13:46Speaker 4: seven thousand gets taxed at twelve percent, and it keeps
- 13:50Speaker 4: going like that, So it's a graduated rate system. Now,
- 13:54Speaker 4: each year those ranges are adjusted for inflation, and usually
- 14:01Speaker 4: in a good way. Some years they're hugely boosted because inflation.
- 14:07Speaker 4: They're trying to catch up with inflation. So from twenty
- 14:11Speaker 4: twenty two to twenty twenty three they had a huge boost,
- 14:14Speaker 4: twenty three to twenty four somewhat of a boost, and
- 14:18Speaker 4: then it's going to be not a boost but not
- 14:21Speaker 4: as much in twenty five. And that all means is
- 14:25Speaker 4: that it's going to result in less taxes because more
- 14:30Speaker 4: of your income will be pushed to lower rates. So
- 14:34Speaker 4: that's the gist of it for rates.
- 14:36Speaker 2: And that's another one. If you have questions about that,
- 14:38Speaker 2: you shoul probably reach out to your team or your CIA.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Absolutely, but each year the IRS releases kind of ahead
- 14:45Speaker 4: of time the changing rates situation the next year.
- 14:50Speaker 3: That's right, Steve, I want to get you in here
- 14:52Speaker 3: some time to go over the institution of the Federal
- 14:55Speaker 3: Reserve in nineteen thirteen. I think we could really get
- 14:57Speaker 3: into some good income tax comeations That one might not
- 15:01Speaker 3: be a published podcast, but I'm just say.
- 15:03Speaker 2: My mind is just going right now.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, like income tax started as a very limited situation.
- 15:13Speaker 3: It was like a wartime thing, right, Yeah, it was
- 15:16Speaker 3: nineteen thirteen. It's always an emergency that's to help us, right,
- 15:20Speaker 3: They just forgot to stop that whole income tax thing.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Sure, sure, So how about four to one K increases?
- 15:28Speaker 3: We've touched on those in the past, but as federal
- 15:32Speaker 3: income brackets and tax Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 2: So four one k. So each year that changes.
- 15:38Speaker 4: So twenty twenty four, your four one K deferral was.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Twenty three thousand.
- 15:45Speaker 4: For twenty twenty five, it just goes up five hundred
- 15:48Speaker 4: to twenty three five hundred.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Now, if you're fifty year over, there's always.
- 15:53Speaker 4: A catch up contribution you can make that hasn't changed
- 15:58Speaker 4: from twenty twenty four to twenty twenty five. So that's
- 16:01Speaker 4: still seventy five hundred. So if you're fifty or over,
- 16:04Speaker 4: the overall amount you can differ goes from thirty thousand,
- 16:08Speaker 4: five hundred to thirty one thousand. Now here's a fun
- 16:12Speaker 4: little change in twenty twenty five. That's never been the case.
- 16:17Speaker 4: If you are between sixty and sixty three, you get
- 16:23Speaker 4: a little extra boost of thirty seven to fifty. So
- 16:28Speaker 4: instead of thirty one thousand that you can defer up
- 16:33Speaker 4: to if you're fifteen over, if you're between sixteen sixty three,
- 16:37Speaker 4: you get to bump it up to thirty four thousand
- 16:40Speaker 4: and seven fifty.
- 16:41Speaker 2: If you're one of our clients, you're area to be retired.
- 16:43Speaker 2: But sure, sure, sure right now. If you know, if
- 16:46Speaker 2: we have more questions about that, we do. We did
- 16:49Speaker 2: a previous podcast on this that explains it more in
- 16:52Speaker 2: great detail. But again, I think a high point of
- 16:56Speaker 2: that is this is the first time they've had that
- 16:59Speaker 2: kind of that weird extra bracket of sixty one to
- 17:02Speaker 2: sixty three, right, we can tack on even more. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 2: that's the first time.
- 17:06Speaker 4: And then the last thing is there is a limit
- 17:10Speaker 4: to the amount of compensation that can be considered for
- 17:14Speaker 4: a company match. And so that was thirty three hundred
- 17:19Speaker 4: and forty five thousand in twenty twenty four. It's jumped
- 17:24Speaker 4: up five thousand to three hundred and fifty thousand in
- 17:28Speaker 4: twenty twenty five. Now it used to jump up way
- 17:31Speaker 4: more like from twenty twenty two to twenty three, it
- 17:35Speaker 4: jumped twenty five thousand, and then it was a fifteen
- 17:38Speaker 4: thousand jump to twenty twenty four. Now it's five thousand
- 17:42Speaker 4: and again it's an inflationary adjustments. We don't see as
- 17:47Speaker 4: much inflation between these two years, or not anticipating as much,
- 17:51Speaker 4: so we don't get as much of a jump there.
- 17:53Speaker 3: How about these hopefully not very many of our listeners,
- 17:57Speaker 3: but how many of these practice owners they meet November?
- 18:01Speaker 3: Congratulations you had a great year. You owe fifty thousand dollars.
- 18:05Speaker 3: People are trying to throw a hail Mary to not
- 18:09Speaker 3: pay taxes. It's tempting to go spend a bunch of
- 18:12Speaker 3: money or go into debt to avoid taxes.
- 18:14Speaker 2: That.
- 18:15Speaker 3: We've had multiple podcasts on that. But talk about end
- 18:18Speaker 3: of year purchases. What what's your take on that? My
- 18:22Speaker 3: guess is it's custom to each person's financial and tax
- 18:25Speaker 3: situation at the end of the year.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Very much so.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Though we generally feel that if you need something, you
- 18:32Speaker 4: can maybe purchase it by what.
- 18:34Speaker 2: If I really want it, Like, at what point has
- 18:37Speaker 2: become a need, well a business need, like something that
- 18:41Speaker 2: you use every day needs to be replaced? Yeah?
- 18:45Speaker 4: Yeah, if it makes sense, financially, you know, look at
- 18:47Speaker 4: it financially.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Before the tax situation.
- 18:50Speaker 4: But if you need it, you can't save taxes by
- 18:54Speaker 4: buying it before the end of the year. Now, there's
- 18:56Speaker 4: two ways you can deduct it quicker than kind of.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Write it out over five years.
- 19:01Speaker 4: So the Section one seventy nine deduction, which is a
- 19:03Speaker 4: familiar one. It's still pretty generous to be able to
- 19:07Speaker 4: write it off completely in the year that you purchased it.
- 19:12Speaker 4: And it's really not the year you purchased it, but
- 19:14Speaker 4: the year you placed it in service.
- 19:16Speaker 2: So right, so if you buy it and let it
- 19:17Speaker 2: sit in the back in a box for a month
- 19:19Speaker 2: and a half, it doesn't count for that year exactly.
- 19:23Speaker 4: So Section one seventy nine is one way to and
- 19:25Speaker 4: it's still pretty much one hundred percent with certain limitations. Now,
- 19:29Speaker 4: another way you can write it off is be a
- 19:32Speaker 4: bonus appreciation.
- 19:34Speaker 2: It's very similar.
- 19:35Speaker 4: The only caveat there is that in twenty twenty three
- 19:39Speaker 4: you can only deduct eighty percent of it in that
- 19:43Speaker 4: particular year. Twenty twenty four is sixty percent. Now, this
- 19:47Speaker 4: will keep scaling down until it's basically phased out unless
- 19:51Speaker 4: something changes with the tax law. So I won't get
- 19:55Speaker 4: into Section one seventy nine versus bonus. There are certain considerations,
- 19:59Speaker 4: but it's still pretty generous that you can write off
- 20:02Speaker 4: a bunch towards the end of the year if you
- 20:04Speaker 4: need it, and of course it should help your tax situation.
- 20:07Speaker 3: If you have some taxes, you're gonna buy something in
- 20:09Speaker 3: the next you know, two to four months, Educate yourself,
- 20:13Speaker 3: making sure your tax situation versus what you actually need.
- 20:17Speaker 3: And if there's some alignment there where you buy it
- 20:19Speaker 3: and use it in December, that can be beneficial.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah.
- 20:23Speaker 3: How about going and just buying a big old piece
- 20:25Speaker 3: of equipment just because your equipment reps as Section one
- 20:28Speaker 3: seventy nine.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah, they'll they'll go for it.
- 20:31Speaker 4: I mean, this is the time that there's a decent
- 20:34Speaker 4: amount of aggressiveness to hey, you know, you need it,
- 20:38Speaker 4: and it's tax time and you're gonna be paying a
- 20:41Speaker 4: ton of taxes.
- 20:42Speaker 2: You got you gotta get it, So.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Make sure it makes sense before you phony up a
- 20:47Speaker 4: decent amount or going more into debt for this equipment.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Amen. That may not even help your tax situation at
- 20:54Speaker 2: the end.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Yeah, depending you know, yeah, don't chase the tax's Steve,
- 20:58Speaker 4: thank you so.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Much for being here today, Casey. By the time this
- 21:02Speaker 2: episode comes out, you and your team will be traveling
- 21:05Speaker 2: to both Dallas and Austin to do some presentations.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Everything's bigger in Texas. We've got a great audience in
- 21:12Speaker 3: both locations. Doubleheader. We're gonna have a great time, really
- 21:16Speaker 3: nice venues and covering some really really good subject matter
- 21:21Speaker 3: that is so crucial to practice owners being successful.
- 21:24Speaker 2: You know, we mentioned holiday bonuses.
- 21:27Speaker 3: It's it's admirable that a lot of practice owners want
- 21:29Speaker 3: to make sure everybody's taken care of. Then they look
- 21:31Speaker 3: up and they're the ones that aren't. Associate makes more
- 21:34Speaker 3: than them. Their staff's happy, patients, and they look up
- 21:37Speaker 3: and they're like, where's the money, right?
- 21:40Speaker 2: And this is where you know, you and your team
- 21:42Speaker 2: come and you speak and kind of show people that
- 21:44Speaker 2: there is a path forward, there is a light at
- 21:46Speaker 2: the end of that tunnel.
- 21:46Speaker 3: We have a great time, but we get into some
- 21:48Speaker 3: pretty heavy subject matter that they need to hear. Yep,
- 21:50Speaker 3: and hopefully, you know, get to that next plateau or
- 21:53Speaker 3: to that next level of success, no doubt.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Well, this is our last set of events for this year.
- 21:58Speaker 2: We're gonna be kicking off twenty twenty five right away.
