- 0:02Welcome. Welcome, everybody.
- 0:04And we thank you for joining us for this new Perspective series
- 0:08on the science of living. And of course, as always, we
- 0:12welcome HP, the founder and Chancellor of our university in
- 0:17Surat, India, and our benefactor, the Lagraj Shiro
- 0:21Bindo Center here in Fountain Inn, as well as our sister
- 0:26center, Shrio Bindo Shrio Bindo Center in Surat, India.
- 0:30And we also welcome members of the faculty at our university.
- 0:36I see Professor Joshi and others coming on.
- 0:39We appreciate you following the series on the science of living
- 0:43with us and and for joining and participating in many of the New
- 0:47Perspective sessions. So today our guest speaker is
- 0:52Santosh Krinsky, who will address the topic, the role of
- 0:56the individual spiritual aspirant in the process of the
- 1:00evolution of consciousness. And Santosh states Shir Bindo
- 1:05and the mother have radically redefined the objective of yoga
- 1:09and the role and destiny of the individual.
- 1:13For those of you who follow Cultural Integration Fellowship
- 1:17Sunday Zoom meetings, back in early August, CIF hosted
- 1:21Santosh, who gave an illuminating talk on a related
- 1:25subject. But for today, he says he has
- 1:28further developed the topic, adding a new focus, direction
- 1:32and additional insights. So we welcome you, Santosh.
- 1:36We are always so interested in hearing your perspectives on
- 1:40such important topics and of course, joining us from Hawaii.
- 1:44We are especially appreciative of you joining it at 44 AM your
- 1:49time. Santosh was just mentioning that
- 1:52he actually was up by two or three this morning and working
- 1:56on podcasts and a few other things that he does on a daily
- 2:00basis, which we'll be mentioning here in a minute.
- 2:04So welcome, Santosh. So Santosh has been studying
- 2:08Shrivinda's writing since 1971, and many of you know him through
- 2:13his daily blog, which I'll be posting in the chat, and his
- 2:17podcast. Also I'll be posting the URL in
- 2:21the chat. He is a prolific author of 21
- 2:25books and editor in chief at Lotus Press, which carries many
- 2:30of Shirvinda and the Mothers. Of books.
- 2:33The US editions and links to ebooks of Shirbindo's writings
- 2:37can be found at lotuspress.com and he is also president of the
- 2:42Institute for Holistic Education in Hawaii, which is a non profit
- 2:47focused on integrating spirituality into daily life.
- 2:51So once again, we welcome you and we welcome all attendees.
- 2:54There will certainly be time for comments and questions and
- 2:58dialogue with Santosh towards the end.
- 3:01In the meantime, if you want to post any comments or questions
- 3:05in the chat and we'll get to them towards the end, but at
- 3:08this time, I'd like to go ahead and hand it over to you,
- 3:10Santosh. I must stay.
- 3:42So welcome everybody. It is so wonderful to have an
- 3:47opportunity to share Satsang with devotees from around the
- 3:54world. Today, the subject is going to
- 3:59be an interesting one for most people.
- 4:02It's about us, you and me, what we're here for, what our destiny
- 4:09is, what our role to play is alive here on the planet Earth.
- 4:15So where we are at present, where we're going in the future,
- 4:22and what we can do as part of that process that Triora Bindo
- 4:33and the mother have so wonderfully described to us.
- 4:40Before we do that, I'd like to go into a little bit what I
- 4:46would call, with all deference to Stephen Hawking, A brief
- 4:49history of Time. But I'm not going to go back to
- 4:55The Big Bang or before that. Let's start with this, the
- 4:59planet Earth. And so we'll discuss that and
- 5:05we'll take this voyage the Trioro Bindo describes in
- 5:08Savitri. And I'll read a very brief
- 5:10passage. This is the sailor on the flow
- 5:14of time. This is world matters.
- 5:17Slow discoverer, who launched into this small corporeal birth,
- 5:23has learned his craft in tiny bays of self, but dares at last
- 5:29unplumbed infinitudes, a Voyager upon eternities seas.
- 5:39So scientists tell us that the age of the Earth is somewhere
- 5:43around 4 1/2 billion years. And I'd like to go through a
- 5:49little bit of this history. I'm going to skip a few steps,
- 5:53but I think it's important for us to recognize what
- 5:59evolutionary time is. Because we as human beings, we
- 6:04have a lifetime of 70 or 80 or 90 or maybe even 100 years.
- 6:11And we think that's a long time, or maybe sometimes we think it's
- 6:15a short time. But either way, it's not even
- 6:20the blink of an eye in evolutionary time.
- 6:25And I think that sets a context for us of why and how we respond
- 6:34to things. So if the age of the Earth is 4
- 6:391/2 billion years and we look at the first evidence of land on
- 6:46life is like 3.2 billion years ago.
- 6:53This is the the first sign that the vital force has evolved out
- 7:00of matter. And following Shrioro Bindo's
- 7:05understanding that everything in existence is not some kind of a
- 7:15a random chance, when we look at the the universe, we look at the
- 7:21world and the planet and the diversity and the energies at
- 7:25play, can we really say that this is just some kind of a
- 7:29mistake? If we want to build a building
- 7:36and we look at dumping a whole bunch of materials on the ground
- 7:43in a certain place, the building does not build itself.
- 7:49It's not a matter of matter getting together and saying
- 7:52let's put up a building or it just being some kind of random
- 7:57chance. Someone has to design the
- 8:00building. Someone has to organize the
- 8:04steps involved in it and the accumulation of materials and
- 8:08the proper use of forms to create that building.
- 8:14Well, the whole universe is the building within which
- 8:18consciousness exists, and it's created by consciousness.
- 8:23And so, as Sri Rabindo points out, consciousness is involved
- 8:28in matter and has basically designed the evolution.
- 8:36Not that consciousness follows material development, but that
- 8:42consciousness creates the forms it needs to express itself.
- 8:48So the first signs of life, 3.2 billion years ago, OK, about 2
- 8:55billion years ago. The next evolutionary step in
- 9:00the process takes place with the development of what are called
- 9:04eukaryotic cells, and these are cells that have internal systems
- 9:09that allow the development of energy engines within the cells.
- 9:16Chloroplasts for the conversion of solar energy into life
- 9:21energy, sexual reproduction. This is what eukaryotic cells
- 9:29allow. Before that time, life was
- 9:33basically single cellular. About a billion and a half years
- 9:39ago, these eukaryotic cells split into the ancestors of what
- 9:45we now know as plants, fungi and animals.
- 9:51This is 500 million years after the first signs of life or the
- 9:57the development of the eukaryotic cells.
- 9:59So we can begin to see what the yoga of nature the Trioro Bindo
- 10:08describes at various places involves in terms of a time
- 10:12frame. The time frames in human
- 10:17lifespans are enormous, and about 890,000,000 years ago, the
- 10:26first recognizable animals appeared, and then it took
- 10:33another 335,000,000 years before animals were able to show their
- 10:42own power of impulsion. In other words, they could walk,
- 10:47they could fly, whatever it is that they did for impulsion.
- 10:52All of these time frames, I think we can see there's a sort
- 10:59of a pattern here. The first steps of conversion of
- 11:03pure matter, material form into life forms took billions of
- 11:08years. Now the next steps of the
- 11:11progression of animal consciousness, the vital force
- 11:17making itself felt, didn't take billions of years, it took
- 11:21hundreds of millions of years. And we doubt move to the rise of
- 11:28the dinosaurs, which is 250 million years ago.
- 11:33And they ruled the earth until about 66,000,000 years ago.
- 11:39So they were here for a long time.
- 11:44The early primates came about just 55,000,000 years ago.
- 11:49I say just, but in our frame this is a long time, The higher
- 11:55primates 40 million years ago, and about two to 2.8 million
- 12:02years ago the human genus came forward, which you could say
- 12:11represents a next phase in the development of the vital.
- 12:16And then the mental consciousness.
- 12:18And the modern human species appeared about 300,000 years
- 12:25ago, which is 2,000,000 years later.
- 12:32We still share 98.4% of the genes of the chimpanzee even
- 12:41after millions of years of evolutionary divergent.
- 12:48That's how humanity has been built upon prior development of
- 12:58you might call the evolution of forms that are based on the
- 13:03evolution of consciousness. Human domination of the planet
- 13:09means that the control of our mental beings changing life and
- 13:15matter consciously is only 11,000 years.
- 13:21It may seem longer than that with what we're doing to the
- 13:24planet. And in fact, some scientists say
- 13:28we're engaged right now in the 6th mass extinction event, the
- 13:34one that follows the demise of the dinosaurs, mainly because of
- 13:40the imbalances that our development of the mental
- 13:44consciousness have caused in planetary life.
- 13:50And a lot of that is based on the ego, and we'll talk about
- 13:56that later. But every one of these major
- 14:02transitions led to the development of forms that could
- 14:07hold and manifest the next evolution of consciousness.
- 14:13And that's, I think, an important point to to think
- 14:16about. When Sri Ravindo and the Mother
- 14:19talk about the evolution of consciousness, they're looking
- 14:26at this scale of evolutionary time, what they call the yoga of
- 14:31nature. And they have pointed out
- 14:34repeatedly that with the yoga of nature, this next phase that
- 14:41what we would call the Super mental consciousness, this next
- 14:44phase could take, who knows, hundreds of thousands of years.
- 14:51If we're sort of truncating the time scale down from billions of
- 14:57years to hundreds of millions of years to millions of years, we
- 15:01may be now in the hundreds of thousands of years.
- 15:06And they look at it and say, well, the imbalances that are
- 15:12caused by the mental consciousness being essentially
- 15:17unchecked in the ego development create that crisis that requires
- 15:27something more and something faster.
- 15:31And that's why they develop what we call the integral yoga, not
- 15:38to lead to cessation of life or escape from life or individual
- 15:47liberation or entry into Nirvana.
- 15:52And you know, in the in the Buddhist tradition, there is a
- 15:57concept called bodhisattva. And bodhisattva basically is an
- 16:03individual who has carried out a spiritual development to such a
- 16:09point that that individual can go and create for himself
- 16:17liberation from this entire sequence of life.
- 16:23But he turns back and says that until every last sentient being
- 16:31achieves Nirvana, he won't enter in.
- 16:35Now the concept here is that it's not about an individual
- 16:41achieving something as an egoistic personality, but about
- 16:46the need for the entire sentient universe to achieve that
- 16:53liberation. Now Shrioro Bindu and the mother
- 16:57don't talk about liberation as being the goal or the end
- 17:03purpose of our existence. They talk about the
- 17:07transformation of life in the earth consciousness.
- 17:15So while the Bodhisattva vow of every sentient being points a
- 17:25way for us, it doesn't point a way away from the earth.
- 17:28It points a way into the integral yoga.
- 17:37We look at, if you will, our own position in that, and Shiro
- 17:49Bindo and the mother want us to understand that it's not about
- 17:56us. And this is a really hard
- 18:00concept because we are so wrapped up in our mental and
- 18:04vital consciousness. We're born into this, we're
- 18:07educated into this, and we think it's about me, me, me, and we're
- 18:16going to achieve something. I've heard people say that
- 18:20they're devotees and they expect to be super mentalized in this
- 18:24lifetime. And you know, maybe, I don't
- 18:30know, miracles can happen, but that's not the process of
- 18:35nature. I'd like to read a brief
- 18:39citation from Sri Robindo about this subject.
- 18:45What we are doing, if and when we succeed, will be a beginning,
- 18:51not a completion. It is the foundation of a new
- 18:55consciousness on earth, a consciousness with infinite
- 18:59possibilities of manifestation. The eternal progression is in
- 19:05the manifestation and beyond it there is no progression.
- 19:12And he goes on to say that the old yoga's, the original yoga's,
- 19:21didn't believe in this transformation.
- 19:24That wasn't their goal. They think that life is an
- 19:29illusion. They want to escape the illusion
- 19:32to the reality. So essentially it is only some
- 19:41yoga's that aim at a transformation of any kind
- 19:45except that of ignorance into knowledge.
- 19:50And it is not intended to super mentalize humanity at large, but
- 19:55to establish the principle of the Super mental consciousness
- 20:00in the earth evolution. And he goes on to say it would
- 20:13not be possible to change all that in a moment we have always
- 20:17said. That the whole of humanity will
- 20:20not change the moment there is the descent.
- 20:23But what can be done is to establish the higher principle
- 20:27in the earth consciousness in such a way that it will remain
- 20:32and go on strengthening and spreading itself in the earth
- 20:36life. That is how a new principle in
- 20:40the evolution must necessarily work.
- 20:45This transformation cannot be done individually in a solitary
- 20:49way only. No individual solitary
- 20:52transformation apart from the work for the Earth, which means
- 20:57more than any individual transformation, would be either
- 21:02possible or useful. Also, no individual human being
- 21:08can by his own power alone work out the transformation, nor is
- 21:14it the object of the Yoga to create an individual Superman
- 21:19here and there. The object of the yoga is to
- 21:24bring down the Super mental consciousness on earth, to fix
- 21:28it there, to create a new race with the principle of the Super
- 21:33mental consciousness governing the inner and outer, individual
- 21:38and collective life. So let's reflect on this for a
- 21:44moment. If it's not about creating
- 21:46individual salvation, and it's not about creating an individual
- 21:54Superman, as he describes here, but it's about every one of us
- 22:04dedicating our lives as the Bodhisattva dedicates his life
- 22:11to the creation of that new power of consciousness within
- 22:18the earth, nature. And this is really the crux of
- 22:25it. It's not about you, it's not
- 22:28about me, it's not about any one of us.
- 22:33Now somewhere, and don't quote me on this, but somewhere Srioro
- 22:37Vindo, I, as I recall, said that it could take 3 or 400 years for
- 22:44the new race to emerge. And that would be based upon
- 22:55more or less the intensity of the effort combined with working
- 23:01out and overcoming the resistance of the existing
- 23:07egoistic nature, if you will, or the resistance of matter and the
- 23:16embedded instincts and habits of the vital life.
- 23:21All of these things have to be modified.
- 23:24It's something that I call the texturing of the consciousness
- 23:28of the earth, the idea that you can't have a Unicorn appear, if
- 23:37you will, in in sort of today's modern business sense without
- 23:42there being a basis in the society for that form to survive
- 23:49and thrive. And so the development of an
- 23:54individual super mental being or a collective group of super
- 24:00mental beings is conditioned upon not just the emergence of
- 24:06that consciousness, but the development of enough texturing
- 24:12across the entire physical vital mental sphere that it can
- 24:19support that. So where are we?
- 24:29The human being has its own issues, We are struggling to
- 24:37address those issues and any one of us in our lifetimes is likely
- 24:48not going to be transformed and super mentalized.
- 24:53I look at this as something like a relay race.
- 24:57Only the last runner in the relay race gets across the
- 25:01finish line. All the others are just running
- 25:05to move things forward. Now if we look at it as let's
- 25:10accept 3 year old windows #300 to 400 years, we're looking at
- 25:16maybe 10 generations of humanity before the 1st super mental
- 25:24beings that can actually manifest and live that
- 25:27consciousness are able to actually walk upon the earth or
- 25:34whatever they do. They may not walk, who knows.
- 25:40The rest of us are basically carrying that baton forward
- 25:46through 10 generations, where what we're doing is helping to
- 25:52texture the consciousness and prepare the ground, but not
- 25:57ourselves individually getting the immediate fruits of that.
- 26:04Now let's say that if we take repeated births and we continue
- 26:13this process through our psychic association through time, our
- 26:23future psychic heirs of rebirth, we'll be the ones to get the
- 26:32benefit of that. So maybe we're thinking like the
- 26:36Native Americans do about 7 generations down and what the
- 26:42impact on that is all going to be.
- 26:46So if our goal is for immediate transformation, with all due
- 26:57respect, I think that we're not focused on where we need to be.
- 27:05What can we do? Nature's methods, if you will,
- 27:13are to combine benefits from other aspects that have been
- 27:20developed to more or less create a new way forward.
- 27:25And as an example, the energy centers in the human body are
- 27:33called mitochondria. They're within the cells and the
- 27:36mitochondria actually developed from a bacteria that invaded the
- 27:47cell. And instead of the immune system
- 27:50destroying it and the bacteria creating a disease, they created
- 27:55a symbiotic relationship whereby the bacteria thrive and get fed
- 28:03by the human system and they provide energy back to the
- 28:10system. And we look also at our
- 28:15digestive system. Everyone, I'm sure, is aware of
- 28:19what we call probiotics. These are what we call the good
- 28:24bacteria that reside in our guts that actually carry out a huge
- 28:33portion of the digestive process without which we would really be
- 28:37struggling. And so looking at this, we say
- 28:43that, well, what is the human being?
- 28:48We are a collective of various pieces of natural evolution to
- 28:57create a certain forward motion or movement, a certain form that
- 29:02works for what needs to be done. The collective power of this
- 29:14effort, even if it's not for our own individual transformation
- 29:19but to texture consciousness, also comes within a context.
- 29:25In 1956, the mother declared that the Super mental descent
- 29:31had occurred in matter. And I suspect that it's not only
- 29:41active, it's very active, but it's active at ways that we
- 29:46don't recognize. And we don't recognize it
- 29:49because we don't observe the way nature works. the Super mental
- 30:00process is to open up what we would call the truth
- 30:10consciousness. And what has happened in the
- 30:14last 75 years or so is evidence of that.
- 30:20You've got all kinds of new revelations coming about about
- 30:26how humanity is dealing with the planet, with the environment,
- 30:31with each other. All kinds of corruption have
- 30:34been exposed. All kinds of issues have been
- 30:39brought forward into the light that used to remain hidden and
- 30:45the forces that oppose that have a vested egoistic interest, a
- 30:51vested long term embedded habitual interest in not
- 30:56changing and not allowing this to occur because their power in
- 31:03their minds would be reduced or eliminated.
- 31:09These forces are up in arms worldwide.
- 31:13Everywhere. Things are exploding, forces are
- 31:18fighting, oppression is happening, economic controls and
- 31:25manipulations are stronger than ever.
- 31:28Technologies are being developed to basically monitor and control
- 31:36everybody, with the idea that somehow brute force of the ego
- 31:42can suppress a movement of evolutionary time, the
- 31:46development of the next phase of consciousness.
- 31:50It is the very fact that these things are so prevalent and so
- 31:54heavily visible today that tells us that in new forces working
- 32:02that's irritating these established forces very, very
- 32:06much. And so I see the opposition
- 32:10arising as this as the most obvious sign of the evolution of
- 32:19the next phase of consciousness fixed into the earth
- 32:22consciousness. Now, how long is this going to
- 32:25take? It might take several 100 years
- 32:29for this opposition to get worked out, but it will get
- 32:33worked out. And the reason is that souls
- 32:40that have adhered to this concept are taking conscious
- 32:48birth on the planet. And that itself is a marvelous,
- 32:56amazing thing. And we can see it in Savi Tree.
- 33:03Sri Aurobindo inspires us with his vision of the individual and
- 33:10the transformation process. And so I'll close with that.
- 33:17I saw the omnipotence, flaming pioneers over the heavenly verge
- 33:23which turns towards life, come crowding down the amber stairs
- 33:28of birth, forerunners of a divine multitude out of the
- 33:34paths of the morning star they came into the little room of
- 33:39mortal life. I saw them cross the twilight of
- 33:44an age, the sun eyed children of a marvelous dawn, the great
- 33:49creators with wide brows of calm, the massive barrier
- 33:54Breakers of the world and wrestlers with destiny in her
- 33:58lists of will. The laborers in the quarries of
- 34:03the gods, the messengers of the incommunicable, the architects
- 34:09of immortality. Into the fallen human sphere
- 34:14they came. Faces that wore the immortals
- 34:17glory still. Voices that commune still with
- 34:21the thoughts of God. Bodies made beautiful by the
- 34:25spirit's light carrying the magic word.
- 34:29The Mystic fire carrying the Dionysian cup of joy.
- 34:34Approaching eyes of a diviner man, lips chanting an unknown
- 34:39anthem of the soul, feet echoing in the corridors of time, High
- 34:46priests of wisdom, sweetness, might and bliss, Discoverers of
- 34:53beauty's sunlit waves and swimmers of Love's laughing
- 34:56fiery floods and dancers within rapture's golden doors.
- 35:02Their tread one day shall change the suffering earth and justify
- 35:08the light and nature's face. Thank you Santosh so much and
- 35:19this is beautiful, especially this ending actually defines
- 35:24everything what you wanted to say.
- 35:26So basically your message is that individual here is to help
- 35:32nature to evolve to the higher levels.
- 35:36We are here the helpers of nature's yoga and not here to
- 35:42agrees to clearly try to develop ourselves against nature or
- 35:47against the whole world, just as if we are the supreme beings.
- 35:51This is that wrong Superman idea of Nietzsche most probably,
- 35:59which was mistaken for Sri Aravinda's idea.
- 36:03And of course. Yes, I should mention one thing
- 36:06in relation to that, and that is that people want to have
- 36:11spiritual experiences, they want to have illumination.
- 36:17But what if the role of some people is to have that
- 36:21experience as part of this process?
- 36:24And the role of other people is to really just deal with the
- 36:31stuff you know and, you know. Poem called a God's labor.
- 36:36Sri Aurobindo points out, I have been digging deep and long in a
- 36:40horror of filth. Admire a bed for the golden
- 36:43River song, a home for the deathless fire.
- 36:47Well, this isn't spiritual illumination on the heights.
- 36:53This is dealing with all those movements that anger the ego,
- 37:00the pride, the vanity, the lust, the greed, the egoistic self
- 37:06dealing that are part of what needs to be textured.
- 37:11What if some of us are just there to deal with that stuff
- 37:15and we're not here to personally experience the heights other
- 37:20than possibly glimpses to give us hope?
- 37:25It's really a different way of looking at things, and some
- 37:30people get discouraged by that. But some people say, well, OK,
- 37:35let's roll up our sleeves and if Sri or Ovindo can dig deep and
- 37:42long and a horror of filth, admire, well, I guess we can
- 37:45sign up for that too, if necessary.
- 37:48Absolutely, I understand what you mean.
- 37:51I had once experienced, I remember in Soviet Union looking
- 37:57at 2 drunken men digging their, their trench and you know, and
- 38:02cursing and, and I was thinking, how is that the divine created
- 38:06this, you know, this formation, why it is there, what it is for
- 38:14Usually we condemn this people. And then I thought, no, it's not
- 38:17like that. They are actually going deep
- 38:21into the darkness with their small lights, but those lights
- 38:26inside them are actually transmitting the greater light
- 38:31into the darkness. They are intermediaries who
- 38:34dared to go down to forget themselves, to to be lost in the
- 38:40darkness. And that is the greatest
- 38:42sacrifice. And it reminded me of this
- 38:45statement of Jesus. Those who are the last will be
- 38:49the first in the Kingdom of my Father.
- 38:52So there's something mysterious about this manifestation of the
- 38:56Supreme in the human race, and I understand what you want to say.
- 39:01This is amazing. Thank you so much.
- 39:04Beautiful. If anyone wants to say something
- 39:09or reflect upon this or have questions, please please say
- 39:14it's time now. Just to add what Santos has so
- 39:20eloquently laid out the evolutionary journey of human
- 39:26being, I think what's here Window has brought out and
- 39:32mother has given away is that we have to be conscious
- 39:36collaborator in that evolutionary journey of ours to
- 39:42make the room for super mental to work with us.
- 39:49So we have to be conscious collaborator with it and that's
- 39:53how we can keep moving forward. And that will help also hasten
- 40:03the evolutionary process and manifestation, manifestation of
- 40:07super mental being actually, because we have to be part of
- 40:12that evolutionary process. And in the Basis of Yoga, which
- 40:18is the current blog post, we just went over sort of this
- 40:22subject. Sri Rabindo advises someone, you
- 40:27spend too much time focused on all your deficiencies and
- 40:32problems and everything. The real work is to aspire and
- 40:37be receptive and accept the grace and the forest as it
- 40:43enters, because it's the yoga of nature that we're facilitating,
- 40:48not an individual achievement. So thank you, Yes.
- 40:54Thank you, Poonam. You wanted to say something.
- 40:56Oh, OK, I'll wait. Yeah, I just wanted to when
- 41:01Santosh mentioned about the probiotic.
- 41:10You went muted. Sorry, I accidentally muted you.
- 41:14I was trying to get your hand down.
- 41:15Sorry Pruna, you'll have to unmute yourself.
- 41:18And I'm doing it, yeah. So no, Santosh had said that
- 41:22talked about the probiotic which are in Nagas.
- 41:26So I remember reading in one of the journals that there are
- 41:30millions of good bacteria in the large intestines particularly
- 41:34which keeps which fights all the the diseases.
- 41:39That's all I wanted to say. Thank you.
- 41:46Yes, please, rather you wanted to.
- 41:49Yes, I, I was just going to comment.
- 41:51First of all, thank you so much Santosh.
- 41:54That was absolutely excellent and explained and illustrated
- 41:58some very important concepts in terms of our evolution and the
- 42:01Super mental power and consciousness you had.
- 42:05You had mentioned that, you know, we don't really know or
- 42:10understand how nature works. We can't really see and
- 42:14appreciate it all the time. And when you were commenting
- 42:19that the Super mantle has already come down and touched
- 42:22the Earth and working in the Earth nature, you know, it
- 42:26reminds me that a lot of of what we're seeing, not just not just
- 42:30the wars, but the other destructions that we're seeing
- 42:33with the natural elements, the fire and the Tornadoes and the
- 42:36Hurricanes. This is churning perhaps that
- 42:39that Mother Nature is doing under the impetus of the Super
- 42:44mental in order to begin to create or awaken even the the
- 42:49consciousness, the nature, the consciousness within matter or
- 42:53within nature. So just wanted to share that
- 42:56thought and get your comments on it.
- 42:59Well, I think that's very good. I, I believe that if all of us
- 43:04reflect on what we see and what we experience, both in terms of
- 43:10what we're seeing outside with all this churning you're you're
- 43:14mentioning and also the very hopeful signs, the light, the
- 43:22people awakening and the vast increase of people interested in
- 43:26yoga and spirituality. And I mean, all these things
- 43:31work together to show that there is both the positive, if you
- 43:36will, side of that process of awakening consciousness, and on
- 43:43the other side that what you might call the negative side,
- 43:47the opening up and churning, as you mention it, of the material
- 43:54world, the vital world, and the mental world that has ruled the
- 43:59earth heretofore. So basically we are all here
- 44:07workers on the indifferent niches of the we have different
- 44:13tasks. Some of us are the workers
- 44:16without wages for delight. Others are closer to the more
- 44:21conscious kind of evolution or to say that at least ascribe
- 44:27themselves for that thinking that they are that.
- 44:31But truly speaking, we are all working for one particular
- 44:34reason to go forward, to move forward.
- 44:38Those who resist, they also resist for the reason they
- 44:42intensify the divine intervention and also highlight
- 44:48all those problems which have to be dealt with.
- 44:52You mentioned beautiful this in this beautiful quotation, the
- 44:56resistance, many of we have to face that resistance also and
- 45:01not only to, to promote forward, but to meet the resistance, to
- 45:06face it, to deal with it. And many of us are dealing with
- 45:10it. And of course, we we do not
- 45:14speak of them highly of those people who are in the trouble
- 45:18and dealing with resistance, but they are workers of this
- 45:23evolution. This is a beautiful image which
- 45:25includes everyone in this journey.
- 45:29Thank you, Sangeeta. You wanted to say something.
- 45:32I just want to apologize. My Wi-Fi is not amazing.
- 45:36That's why I'm not, I'm not opening my video.
- 45:40I really wanted to thank Santosh and always I'm very grateful to
- 45:45La Grasse. Thank you, Vladimir Andrade.
- 45:49Santosh, I completely resonate with what you're saying and we
- 45:56are actually on very similar paths because the work that I'm
- 46:01doing right now is very much aligned with what you've
- 46:04described of helping and facilitating the Super mental to
- 46:12to connect more deeply with nature.
- 46:14I was just going to request you if, if you're amenable to it, to
- 46:19share your e-mail contact. If that's possible, I would like
- 46:23to reach out and connect with you please.
- 46:28Sureitssantoshk@msn.com. Okthankyousantoshk@msn.com.
- 46:40Yes. Thank you.
- 46:43Thank. You Nova.
- 46:43I've also put out there Santosh's blog and his YouTube
- 46:48in the chat for those that want to follow.
- 46:52Thank you, Roddy. Once, since nobody speaks.
- 47:01Once I was puzzled by a mother's statement when they came to her
- 47:05and said, you know, this, this person is not really for
- 47:09integral yoga here. And why do you keep him, you
- 47:13know, and his family in the ashram?
- 47:16And she said, but, you know, he is a very good worker.
- 47:22And this is the quality needed for the constellation of all,
- 47:28you know, engagements of all different kinds.
- 47:31One of them has to be a good worker to cover something very
- 47:36basic for the rest of moving forward.
- 47:40It's amazing, if you think of it, no more judgement of who is
- 47:48spiritual, who is not. And you remember there was one
- 47:55American who lived on the island, most probably you know
- 48:00him, I forgot his name, who was drunken always and under the and
- 48:06drugs and so on. And they people resisted and
- 48:12said why do you keep him here? He is not really for the ashram.
- 48:15And she says he took on to himself the vulgarity of
- 48:19American people, the whole vulgarity took unto himself.
- 48:26It was his yoga. And this is something amazing to
- 48:30think. It's really something only
- 48:33mother can see. What is really happening.
- 48:36You know, we can't see. We do not know.
- 48:40Well, the texturing of consciousness has to happen at
- 48:43every level. So whether people are
- 48:48consciously doing it, whether they're moved unconsciously, or
- 48:53whether they're simply progressing along the path of
- 48:58the yoga of nature, every sentient being on the planet is
- 49:05involved in this process somehow.
- 49:08And you know, we we all talk about all the ego is bad and we
- 49:14need to get rid of the ego. And Trior Vindo said the ego is
- 49:18the helper, the ego is the bar. And there is actually a role for
- 49:23the ego and we shouldn't minimize that.
- 49:28It becomes for us and this is part of the process of what we
- 49:33can do, OK. It becomes an opportunity for
- 49:40nature to create a self aware and conscious receiving device
- 49:48and Nexus if you will, so that when people get to that stage,
- 49:55they can begin to tune their focus towards the higher energy
- 50:00centers and bring down and radiate that force consciously.
- 50:07And until that was there, you had this amorphous energy moving
- 50:14through almost like instinctively.
- 50:17So now you've got self-conscious individuals such as those of us
- 50:22who who participate in these type of programs, whose job it
- 50:29is really to tune ourselves to the higher vibrational centers
- 50:35and to let that force work through us.
- 50:38It's not that we're doing the yoga, it's that the yoga is
- 50:41doing us, and the ego provided the platform for that to even
- 50:47start to occur. Or to face resistance.
- 50:52Exactly. Sangeeta wants to say something
- 50:58you handed. Up I just want to comment that,
- 51:00you know, the indigenous peoples all over the world through, I
- 51:06believe through their ceremonies are actually doing this and
- 51:09they've been doing it right since the beginning.
- 51:14And even I, I feel that with, with the Indian indigenous
- 51:18systems of heaven and all the Ayurvedic, you know, ceremonies
- 51:25and rituals that is also being used to bring in the Super
- 51:30mental consciousness into the, the, the, the earth.
- 51:36And it was always like that, probably from the beginning.
- 51:42That's what Santosh was showing us, that the whole design was
- 51:47from the beginning could not build the foundation for the
- 51:50building, which is not coming. So absolutely thank you.
- 51:57Somebody else say, I see many faces, many familiar faces.
- 52:02Sharon Kinshuk, who wants to add to it?
- 52:06Rick, please go ahead. I'm reminded of a writing in
- 52:12Adventure of Consciousness by Satprene wherein he describes
- 52:18that in 1926 is the older mind descended, the saddocks in the
- 52:26ashram were disrupted, and I draw a parallel to today's
- 52:36situation where we see the world perhaps in chaos and increasing
- 52:43disruption following the descent of the supermoon in 1956.
- 52:51Just that parallel. Wonderful.
- 53:01You know, maybe again, since nobody's raised their hand, I'll
- 53:04share something here that I was just looking for.
- 53:07I read recently and it kind of goes back to your comment,
- 53:11Santosh, about nature and how nature works.
- 53:14And there was a writing that was published in the Aria back in, I
- 53:20think, 2015, 19/15/1970 by Shriya Binda.
- 53:27And what he was doing was really taking the Darwin, the Western
- 53:31concept of evolution and point by point by point discussing how
- 53:37there is truth in each, but those truths are subordinate to
- 53:41a larger truth. And one of the things that one
- 53:45of those points that he was mentioning was that it looks to
- 53:50us as we look back over time that evolution is taking place
- 53:55very slow, very steady. He says very minute graduations.
- 54:00But then, and I'll, I'll read this.
- 54:02It's it's a little lengthy, but I think it's absolutely on
- 54:06point. He says, now evolution
- 54:10suggested, let me see, instead of slow, steady, my new
- 54:13graduations, right, It is now new steps and evolutions are
- 54:18rather affected by rapid and sudden outbursts, outbreaks, as
- 54:25it were, of manifestation from the unmanifest.
- 54:29Shall we say that nature, preparing slowly behind the
- 54:33veil, working a little backwards, working a little
- 54:37forwards, one day arrives at the combination of outward things
- 54:42which makes it possible for her to throw her new idea into a
- 54:47realized formation suddenly, with violence, with a glorious
- 54:52donning, with the grandiose stride.
- 54:55And that would explain the economy of her relapses and her
- 54:59reappearances of things long dead.
- 55:02She aims at a certain immediate result, and to arrive at it more
- 55:07quickly and entirely, she sacrifices many of her
- 55:12manifestations and throws them back into the latent, the
- 55:16unmanifest, the subconscious. But she has not finished with
- 55:20them. She will need them at another
- 55:22stage for a further result. Therefore she brings them
- 55:27forward again and they reappear in new forms and other
- 55:31combinations and act towards new ends.
- 55:35And so evolution advances. And so we don't see actually
- 55:40what nature is is doing and we don't think of it as a sudden
- 55:44outburst as these violent reactions that are happening.
- 55:47But this is actually the birthing and the opportunity for
- 55:50new forms and new consciousness to come forward.
- 55:53So I thought it was just absolutely beautiful when I read
- 55:55that a few days ago. And I think anyone who is
- 55:59interested in, you know, Shirvindo's other concepts of,
- 56:02of evolution, I would encourage you to to read that which is now
- 56:06in a little pamphlet. And actually Shirvindo elsewhere
- 56:12talks about the evolutionary saltus.
- 56:15Where things get prepared to a certain stage and then there's
- 56:19like a sudden jump or leap that occurs because it's all been
- 56:26prepared as you're pointing out here.
- 56:29Yeah, amazing. Absolutely amazing.
- 56:35There is the whole passage in Savitry and believe shall be not
- 56:38till the work is done. So there's something about the
- 56:44sudden appearance or manifestation of which we'll
- 56:48take in our reveal. We all believed that it will
- 56:51come suddenly, so we don't have to do much for it.
- 56:55We just have to follow the trend and then it will come in spite
- 57:03of us rather than with our help for something.
- 57:07Yes, yes we shall. You wanted to say something.
- 57:10Yeah, just what's that game? Your mother says that, and I'm
- 57:19just quoting her. There are people who love
- 57:22adventure. It is these I call and I tell
- 57:27them this. I invite you to the great
- 57:30adventure. It is not a question of
- 57:33repeating spiritual, spiritually, what others have
- 57:36done before us, for our adventure begins.
- 57:40Beyond that, it is a question of a new creation, entirely new,
- 57:47with all the unforeseen events, the risks, the hazards entails,
- 57:52a real adventure whose goal is certain victory, but the road to
- 57:57which is unknown and must be traced out step by step and the
- 58:01unexplored. This is so beautiful because we
- 58:06are all connected. She has called us and we have
- 58:10chosen to participate. So not I think, as was
- 58:14mentioned, from an egotistical standpoint, but just the joy of
- 58:19participating, I think is so tremendous.
- 58:23And then I think the other part was and mother also say that,
- 58:27you know, this is it is through the heart, right?
- 58:30Not through the head that you become closer to this force.
- 58:36So that I just want to share. Thank.
- 58:43You I just wanted to say something.
- 58:46I loved the image of passing the baton and carrying the baton
- 58:54knowing that you'll never cross the finish line and it just
- 58:59brought up deep gratitude for all the people that have passed
- 59:05the baton to me, so thank you. Wonderful.
- 59:27Thank you. Yeah, I think we, we have all
- 59:31been so, so moved today as Sharon and and all of us Santosh
- 59:38for what you've shared and what others have shared here today.
- 59:42So we just, we just thank you very, very much for this
- 59:46session. And, and, and Satsang, as you
- 59:49called it when you were were opening.
- 59:52It's, it was very wonderful that we could all come come together
- 59:56and share in our thoughts and our ideas and, and, and, and
- 1:00:02continue to carry the, the, the torch, if you will.
- 1:00:07For the Integral Yoga and for progress.
- 1:00:09So thank you so much, very much appreciate it.
- 1:00:13Thank you all. Thank you, Namaste.
