- 1:01Speaker 1: that it reflected my perfection. Now, however, the world is
- 1:05Speaker 1: under the bondage of sin and evil. Every person on
- 1:07Speaker 1: the planet faces gaping jaws of uncertainty. The only antidote
- 1:11Speaker 1: to this poisonous threat is drawing closer to me. In
- 1:15Speaker 1: my presence, you can face uncertainty with perfect peace. Stay
- 1:20Speaker 1: tuned to talk about prostate. I'm gonna say a special
- 2:46Speaker 1: remembrance to all those that gave their life so that
- 2:49Speaker 1: we could have this freedom to continue to do what
- 2:52Speaker 1: we do. Prostate glanding a man naturally enlarges with age.
- 2:57Speaker 1: When that growth goes too far, it starts to disrupt
- 3:00Speaker 1: how a man will urinate. Many men notice they need
- 3:04Speaker 1: to urinate more frequently as they get older. This is
- 3:07Speaker 1: often due to an enlarged prostate, the condition known as
- 3:09Speaker 1: benign prostatic hyperplasia. The prostate gland naturally grows throughout a
- 3:15Speaker 1: man's adult life BPH. Benign prostatic hyperplasia occurs when it
- 3:21Speaker 1: becomes enlarged beyond a normal size, placing pressure on the
- 3:24Speaker 1: bladder and marrowing the urethra, the tube that carries urine
- 3:27Speaker 1: out of the body. BPH is the most common prostate
- 3:31Speaker 1: condition in men over fifty, affecting about five percent of
- 3:35Speaker 1: men aged forty to sixty four and rising to over
- 3:38Speaker 1: thirty percent of men over sixty five, whoever, can often
- 3:42Speaker 1: be managed through lifestyle changes, medication, and, when necessary, surgery.
- 3:49Speaker 1: BPH is not cancer, It does not spread to other
- 3:52Speaker 1: parts of the body, not life threatening, and generally not
- 3:55Speaker 1: considered a health concern unless it begins to cause noticeable symptoms.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Symptoms include frequent urination, especially at night, weak or you,
- 4:04Speaker 1: reduced urinary flow, difficulty urinating, urgent need to urinate incomplete,
- 4:11Speaker 1: bladder emptying, intermittent flow, dribbling at the end of urination,
- 4:16Speaker 1: pain during urination. Certain medications can worsen BPH symptoms by
- 4:21Speaker 1: affecting bladder function or urine flow. These include over the
- 4:24Speaker 1: kind of cold and coffer remities such as decongestents or antistamines,
- 4:28Speaker 1: as well as tranquilizers, antidepressants, and diuretic A twenty twenty
- 4:33Speaker 1: five study found that after COVID nineteen vaccinations, patients with
- 4:36Speaker 1: BPH were more likely to experience urinated urinary problems. Another
- 4:43Speaker 1: in the long line of long COVID problems. The prostate
- 4:47Speaker 1: is a small walnut sized gland in men, located just
- 4:50Speaker 1: below the bladder, surrounding the urethra and A large prostrate
- 4:54Speaker 1: occurs when the normal balance between cell growth and cell
- 4:57Speaker 1: death is disrupted, causing cells to accumulate the gland to
- 5:00Speaker 1: grow larger around the urethra. The exact cause is not
- 5:03Speaker 1: fully understood, but hormonal changes that come with aging or
- 5:07Speaker 1: believed to play a key role. Men naturally produce testosterone,
- 5:11Speaker 1: the primary male sex hormone, along with a small amount
- 5:14Speaker 1: of estrogen, the primary female sex hormone. One theory proposes
- 5:19Speaker 1: that as many age, levels of active testosterone decline, leading
- 5:23Speaker 1: to a relatively higher proportion of estrogen. This hormonal shift
- 5:27Speaker 1: may contribute to the development of BPH. Has increased estrogen
- 5:30Speaker 1: activity within the prostate can stimulate cell growth and enlargement.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Another theory suggests that testosterone levels decline while levels of
- 5:40Speaker 1: dihydro testosterone, a male hormone that drives sexual development in
- 5:44Speaker 1: male hair patterns, remains high and accumulates in the prostate.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Because DHD dihydro is known to promote prostate growth, this
- 5:52Speaker 1: build up may stimulate process prostate cells to multiply and
- 5:56Speaker 1: contribute to the development of BPH. Risk factors. Certain lifestyle, medical,
- 6:02Speaker 1: and biological factors can increase the risk of an enlarged prostate. Alcohol, caffeine, obesity,
- 6:09Speaker 1: a sedentary lifestyle, smoking, prostate inflammation, zinc deficiency, certain medical conditions.
- 6:18Speaker 1: It's high blood pressure, exercies, diabetes, certain medication, antidiabetic meds,
- 6:23Speaker 1: especially insulin age, family history, geography, and ethnicity more observed
- 6:29Speaker 1: in Western country than in Eastern housing. A large prostate
- 6:33Speaker 1: diagnosed well, I think if you are a man, you
- 6:36Speaker 1: know we do it by an internal check by the doctor.
- 6:40Speaker 1: They'll also do your analysis looking for blood, infection, sugar, protein,
- 6:44Speaker 1: other markers. They'll do a urine culture, They'll do a
- 6:48Speaker 1: PSA test, a trans abdominal ultrasound, a post void residual cystometry, cistoscopy,
- 6:58Speaker 1: transrectal ultra sound with biopsy, or a CT eurogram. What
- 7:04Speaker 1: are the treatments for a large prostate? Number one is
- 7:06Speaker 1: watchful waiting. If the symptoms of mild, you may choose
- 7:09Speaker 1: to delay doing anything. Number two's medication alphad genergic blockers
- 7:16Speaker 1: relax the muscles of the prostate and blader neck to
- 7:18Speaker 1: improve urineflow. Five alpha reductase inhibitors, phospho diesterase five inhibitors,
- 7:27Speaker 1: some of the newer ones. Number three is minimally invasive
- 7:30Speaker 1: surgical therapy such as prostatic urethral lift, water, vapor thermal therapy,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and it goes down the list. Surgery trans urethral resection
- 7:42Speaker 1: of the prostate land removes the central part of the
- 7:45Speaker 1: prostate using a RESECTI scope, trans urethral incision of the prostate, prostatectomy.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Then there's some medicinal herbs such as saft, palmetto, steaming needles, fireweed,
- 7:57Speaker 1: African plum tree. And then there's some traditional Chinese herbal
- 8:02Speaker 1: pomulas that have been around for thousands of years, and
- 8:05Speaker 1: lastly acupuncture. Some natural and lifestyle approaches self care tips
- 8:12Speaker 1: use the bathroom regularly, avoid holding urine for long periods.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Improved bladder emptying, manage fluid intake, avoid bladder irritants, relieve constipation.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Diet Mediterranean diet, pumpkin seeds, soy products, cranberry all have
- 8:27Speaker 1: been found to be good, including tomatoes and curcuben. Higher
- 8:31Speaker 1: levels of physical activity are associated with less severe BPAH symptoms,
- 8:37Speaker 1: So how can I prevent it? Can't be prevented because
- 8:41Speaker 1: primary drivers are aging in natural hormonal changes. Regular physical
- 8:45Speaker 1: activity may help loder the risk. Men who walked two
- 8:48Speaker 1: to three hours per week out of twenty five percent
- 8:50Speaker 1: lower risk of developing it. What are the complications of
- 8:53Speaker 1: an enlarged prostate, urinary retention, urinary track, infections, bladderstones, upper
- 9:01Speaker 1: tract dilation, and kidney disease. So it all goes hand
