- 0:00Speaker 1: Did you ever want to be abducted by aliens?
- 0:03Speaker 2: Do you fear them or do you? I, more than ever,
- 0:12Speaker 2: would like them to come get me. Really? Yeah, and
- 0:15Speaker 2: that's the truth, I think. And I don't mean that
- 0:17Speaker 2: in any, like, I'm scared for my life way or
- 0:19Speaker 2: anything like that.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Yeah, but so my same sentiment is maybe for a
- 0:23Speaker 1: different reason. I want to be abducted. Ever since I've been,
- 0:27Speaker 1: since I was 10 years old. I wanted to be abducted,
- 0:30Speaker 1: not because I wanted to leave Earth, but that I
- 0:33Speaker 1: wanted to see what the rest of the universe was like.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And if they could abduct me, they should clearly have
- 0:38Speaker 1: access to the universe in ways that I don't. So
- 0:41Speaker 1: it was because I was a curious, cosmically curious kid.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Wow, that's pretty cool, man.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Did you ever feel like they might not abduct you
- 0:49Speaker 2: because of your skin color?
- 0:51Speaker 1: Never.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Never.
- 0:54Speaker 1: They're aliens, for goodness sake.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I didn't mean that in a bad way.
- 0:56Speaker 1: No, no, no. I had no such thoughts.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Because I've had black friends that are like, aliens don't
- 1:01Speaker 2: abduct us and this type of shit.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Oh, there was the Key and Peele skit.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Huh?
- 1:06Speaker 1: You know the Key and Peele skit?
- 1:07Speaker 2: Uh-uh.
- 1:08Speaker 1: It was hilarious. It's a suburbia, right? They're so funny.
- 1:12Speaker 1: And there's zombies coming up the street. And they turn
- 1:20Speaker 1: to this home where black people live. and it goes
- 1:22Speaker 1: around back and they're barbecuing and then the zombie just
- 1:25Speaker 1: recoils and it goes back to the street and chases
- 1:28Speaker 1: the white people. So these are racist zombies. It's a
- 1:34Speaker 1: whole skit. It's an entire skit. And so all the
- 1:38Speaker 1: black people just hanging out on lawn chairs and the
- 1:41Speaker 1: white people are just going crazy. So I had no
- 1:44Speaker 1: such thoughts that Alien would somehow see me as a
- 1:47Speaker 1: black human, just as a human. But I knew, because
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'm old enough to remember, the Apollo program, the Mercury
- 1:53Speaker 1: 7 astronauts and all these guys, none of them looked
- 1:57Speaker 1: like me in the slightest. Not only that, on Broadway
- 2:03Speaker 1: was the number one hit musical, Hair, and none of
- 2:07Speaker 1: these guys had hair longer than an inch on their head,
- 2:11Speaker 1: all these crew cuts. So I was interested in space
- 2:14Speaker 1: not because of the Apollo program, because it looked like
- 2:17Speaker 1: there was nothing in there for me.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Pure curiosity with the universe and me and the aliens
- 2:24Speaker 1: will take it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:26Speaker 2: If you got in there, right. Say they come and
- 2:28Speaker 2: get you. Okay. They're doing a special, right. And they
- 2:33Speaker 2: want to get different types of folks up there. You know,
- 2:36Speaker 2: the whites aren't cutting it anymore.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Well, no, just think about it. Ask yourself this.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:43Speaker 1: When you look at pigeons, um, Are you grouping them
- 2:47Speaker 1: into kinds of pigeons? No, you're not, because they're just
- 2:50Speaker 1: pigeons to you. But if you really did it, some
- 2:54Speaker 1: surface patterns of their feathers are different, okay? And when
- 2:59Speaker 1: you look at an alligator, do you even know who's
- 3:03Speaker 1: a female and who's a male alligator? No. You don't,
- 3:06Speaker 1: and do you know what the pattern, you don't even care,
- 3:09Speaker 1: because you are so different from the alligator. You're not
- 3:12Speaker 1: focused on how alligators differ from each other. You're focused
- 3:16Speaker 1: on the fact that it's a fricking alligator.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So if you were an octopus and you look at humans,
- 3:25Speaker 1: are you saying, oh, this human has a different color
- 3:27Speaker 1: skin than this human? No, you're a creature that swims
- 3:30Speaker 1: in the ocean with eight legs, okay? All you're gonna
- 3:35Speaker 1: see are these humanoid things that have a head only
- 3:40Speaker 1: four limbs and not eight, okay? And you're living in
- 3:44Speaker 1: the air, not in the water. That will preoccupy your
- 3:47Speaker 1: awareness of them. If humanoid aliens came, which is all
- 3:51Speaker 1: Hollywood can think of creating, the octopus will not distinguish
- 3:57Speaker 1: between us and them. Because they always have two eyes,
- 4:00Speaker 1: a nose, a mouth, a head, shoulders, neck, arms, legs, torso, feet, arms, hands,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and fingers.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And that's it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: That's what we, do you know, do you realize that
- 4:12Speaker 1: all life on earth has common DNA and that bananas
- 4:17Speaker 1: have 25% identical genes to human beings?
- 4:21Speaker 2: Nuh-uh.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And because of that, if you get an alien from
- 4:25Speaker 1: another planet that has no DNA at all, or has DNA,
- 4:30Speaker 1: but none of it is in common with us, it
- 4:32Speaker 1: should look at least as different from humans as bananas
- 4:37Speaker 1: and humans look from each other. And all Hollywood depictions
- 4:41Speaker 1: are they're walking, they're talking and walking, coming down the street. Whistling.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You know? So I had no such thoughts that aliens
- 4:51Speaker 1: will notice my skin color. And I'm pretty sure any
- 4:54Speaker 1: future aliens would feel the same.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I just didn't know because a lot of abductions seem
- 4:59Speaker 2: like it's a lot of times often a guy that
- 5:02Speaker 2: seems kind of white.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, actually, one of the first and most famous abductions,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you can look this one up, is the Betty and
- 5:09Speaker 1: Barney Hill case. Barney Hill is a black man.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Was he?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Betty Hill was a white woman.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Let me see him. Oh. Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 2: He looks kind of black.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Barney and Betty Hill were American couple and civil rights
- 5:23Speaker 2: activists who claimed they were abducted by extraterrestrials in a
- 5:27Speaker 2: rural portion of the state of New Hampshire from September
- 5:30Speaker 2: 19th to 20th, 1961. The incident came to be called
- 5:33Speaker 2: the Hill Abduction and the Zeta Reticuli Incident because two
- 5:38Speaker 2: ufologists connected the star map allegedly shown to Betty Hill
- 5:41Speaker 2: with the Zeta Reticuli system. Their story was adapted into
- 5:45Speaker 2: the best-selling 1966 book, The Interrupted Journey. and the television film,
- 5:50Speaker 2: The UFO Incident.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And that television film, James Earl Jones played Barney Hill.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Did he really? Yeah, yeah, it was pretty cool, very cool.
- 5:59Speaker 1: But so anyhow, so- And.
- 6:01Speaker 2: You obviously played James Earl Jones.
- 6:04Speaker 1: This is CNN. So anyhow, so aliens early on have
- 6:14Speaker 1: been abducting but not in the numbers that they do
- 6:18Speaker 1: of white people.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But this is an early mixed couple. That might have
- 6:20Speaker 2: been why they got them.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? It might have been. Who knows?
- 6:26Speaker 2: And they look like a beautiful couple. Yes, they're very well-groomed,
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think is the way you say that. They look
- 6:30Speaker 2: like a beautiful couple, and I'm glad they got brought back.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Did they get brought back?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Okay, good. Yeah, and so I'm just saying
- 6:37Speaker 1: there's precedent for at least some black people to be abducted,
- 6:40Speaker 1: but you are correct. The overwhelming majority are white people, and...
- 6:46Speaker 1: English-speaking people. If you look at a map of all
- 6:50Speaker 1: reported UFO incidents in the world, they go MUFON, M-U-F-O-N,
- 6:56Speaker 1: they'll have a map. Map, there, UFO sighting maps. That's it. Whoa, okay. Notice,
- 7:03Speaker 1: hardly any in Mexico. Every dot there on this map
- 7:08Speaker 1: is a reported UFO sighting. Now, it could be that
- 7:11Speaker 1: if you don't speak English, you don't know where to
- 7:13Speaker 1: report it. That could be so, I get it, but...
- 7:16Speaker 1: But you could just tell your friend. Difference here is staggering.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, bro? Now, rotate the map
- 7:23Speaker 1: or go to some other place. Can you rotate the map?
- 7:25Speaker 1: There you go. Rotate it around. Look at that. Okay,
- 7:30Speaker 1: a little bit in India. Keep turning. England! There you go.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And then right across the channel. Okay, now come down
- 7:39Speaker 1: to Australia. Okay, well, Australia doesn't have many people to
- 7:42Speaker 1: begin with. but in all the major cities are sightings.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Correct. And what about China? Are they reporting them? They're
- 7:48Speaker 2: not allowed to, are they?
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'm just saying this UFO thing is such an American phenomenon.
- 7:56Speaker 1: And so either the aliens just like English-speaking people.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Or?
- 8:01Speaker 1: Or no one else gives a shit. Or it's just
- 8:07Speaker 1: the English people know better how to report their sightings
- 8:10Speaker 1: than other people do. Or we're more gullible in thinking-
- 8:13Speaker 1: that something is aliens when it's just some natural phenomenon.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So this map is staggering, I think.
- 8:21Speaker 2: And dude, I'll tell you this, honestly, I think that
- 8:26Speaker 2: the final war on the planet is gonna be blacks
- 8:28Speaker 2: versus aliens.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Really?
- 8:31Speaker 2: Black humans versus aliens, yeah.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Really? So that's a movie that looks like it's gonna
- 8:35Speaker 1: be in the sequence with Predator versus Aliens. Predator v. Aliens,
- 8:43Speaker 1: humans v. Aliens, black people v. Aliens, okay.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Because somebody gonna have to battle them.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Oh, let me cut you off here. Is it like,
- 8:55Speaker 1: wasn't there some movie called Jason Takes Manhattan? And someone
- 9:00Speaker 1: did a parody on that. Jason tries to take Harlem?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Goodness.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Jason comes up with this mask and a hatchet, boom,
- 9:11Speaker 1: get out of my back. Black people are not going
- 9:15Speaker 1: to stand for this?
- 9:16Speaker 2: Black people at a certain point are not going to
- 9:18Speaker 2: stand for aliens bullshit.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 2: And I think more of a white society will just
- 9:23Speaker 2: fall into it too easy. At a certain point, black
- 9:27Speaker 2: people are going to detect this bullshit.
- 9:28Speaker 1: We've all seen the videos of people trying to scare
- 9:31Speaker 1: black people with Halloween tricks. Like someone pops out of
- 9:34Speaker 1: the can and gets punched. Yeah, it's just.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah, stay in the can.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Stay in the can. Yeah. I see. That's interesting. So
- 9:42Speaker 1: all the white people of the world would have acquiesced
- 9:46Speaker 1: to the demands of the aliens and would have just
- 9:49Speaker 1: gotten absorbed. And black people are holding out. Yeah. And
- 9:52Speaker 1: it'll be the final battle.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that they end up being the savers
- 9:55Speaker 2: of the world.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Wow.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Wow. Because I think it's just like.
- 9:59Speaker 1: That's a movie.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Because every great story is the arc, you know.
- 10:03Speaker 1: No, that missed its time. That should have come out
- 10:05Speaker 1: like 1973. That movie? With black exploitation films. Where black
- 10:09Speaker 1: people are kicking ass and it was okay for everybody
- 10:12Speaker 1: to do. Even white people said, okay. We'll give it
- 10:14Speaker 1: to you. We've been so hard on you all these years.
- 10:17Speaker 1: You can kick our ass for a few years in
- 10:19Speaker 1: the movies. That would have been a good time. Black
- 10:22Speaker 1: people versus.
- 10:22Speaker 2: But I'm talking about.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That one had the movie Blackula.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Did they have that?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yes. Blackula.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Oh, damn.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. So that was the era where this movie should.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Who is that?
- 10:36Speaker 2: It's not Richard Pryor, is it?
- 10:37Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no. It was a serious movie.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It looks like it would be a joke, but no.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I would love to see that. And look, there he
- 10:45Speaker 2: is biting some white chick. I've seen that before, but no,
- 10:51Speaker 2: I think I'm not even joking. Neil. I believe that
- 10:53Speaker 2: that is going to be the, that's going to be
- 10:54Speaker 2: the battle. And I believe that, uh, that they saved
- 10:57Speaker 2: the planet. That's what I believe.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Somebody is going to hear this podcast and is going
- 11:03Speaker 1: to write that script.
- 11:04Speaker 2: We need it.
- 11:06Speaker 1: We need it.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I mean, I'm, I'm at a point where like we need,
- 11:08Speaker 2: that's what, cause I don't know what else can save,
- 11:11Speaker 2: save everything. Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Um, Another thing, they come down to these badass spaceships,
- 11:16Speaker 1: and here we are getting our guns out of the
- 11:18Speaker 1: cabinet and shooting at, really? Like, don't you just see
- 11:22Speaker 1: what has happened here?
- 11:24Speaker 2: The bullet will, like, absorb into their ship, and it
- 11:26Speaker 2: will become part of their ship.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah, for example, right?
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Can you just extrapolate what's happening here? So that's right.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So the black people, we don't have as many guns
- 11:37Speaker 1: as the white people do, but we would know the
- 11:38Speaker 1: guns would be pointless. We'd have to find some other
- 11:41Speaker 1: way to get them.
- 11:42Speaker 2: They'll figure it out.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Maybe barbecue.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You think? That seems racial.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That seems racial to me, dude.
- 11:52Speaker 2: After all the stuff we've said.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I know. They'll listen to jazz. Jazz will, oh.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Now we're talking. Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And then the aliens will be chilling, smoking.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Dude, that's how they'll... There'll be some way, but that's
- 12:14Speaker 2: how it happens.
- 12:15Speaker 1: That'll be... It'll be their muse.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I believe that.
- 12:19Speaker 1: It'll be their.
- 12:20Speaker 2: That's how I've always believed that. How long have I
- 12:22Speaker 2: said that for, Nick?
- 12:23Speaker 1: That which calms.
- 12:24Speaker 2: 26 years ago. How long ago? Two to six years ago.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Two to six years ago.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That which calms the inner beast of the alien is
- 12:33Speaker 1: some smooth jazz.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
