  Speaker 1: performing at a very high level. Whatever you want to

  Speaker 1: say about that disjointed start to the season, that looks

  Speaker 1: like it's well in the rear view mirror right now.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm disappointed. You beat me to the Joe Madden

  Speaker 2: you're a playoff team. And obviously there's a long way

  Speaker 2: type of stretch you need to withstand injuries, to withstand,

  Speaker 2: believe it, but they were right. I mean, even guys

  Speaker 2: who were struggling, you can see the numbers creeping up,

  Speaker 2: and clearly they're playing with just a ton of confidence

  Speaker 1: When they say those things. For the most part, I

  Speaker 1: always agree, Yes, you gotta be patient. This team will

  Speaker 1: get better that that team. But the one concern I

  Speaker 1: had at that time was there are a lot of

  Speaker 1: injuries on this team. Like eventually they're going to catch
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: up to you. I felt like it did on Thursday
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: and the offense and the offense stepped up. I mean
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: that was first of all, there was some uncared, duristically
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: poor defense in in one inning I cannot remember exactly.
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: I think it was the seventh, uh maybe yeah, seventh,
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: seventh because Edward Cabrera was cruising Edward Cabrera. I thought, uh,

  Speaker 1: I know, he had a couple shutouts early in the
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: season to start the season. I thought he looked his best, uh,
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: and then that that seventh kind of uh, you know,
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: took the luster away from that start. I felt like,
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: but uh best, like his best command, best command of
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: of like all his pitches seemed to really like be
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: sequencing properly. I talked to some pitching coaches before the
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: game to kind of get an idea because he wasn't
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: striking a lot of guys out and and he they
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: said that they're still working on something sequencing wise, and
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: and also like one thing guys said is like they
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: need to figure out what pitch to kind of helps
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: reset him. Like every like sometimes pitchers lose their command

  Speaker 1: and they have like one pitch that it's like, okay,
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: go back to that, go back, go to this, and
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: that'll reset your your mechanics and everything and get you
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: locked in on the zone. Who knows where they are

  Speaker 1: in that process after yesterday's start, but I thought it

  Speaker 1: was one of his better starts of the season. But yes,

  Speaker 1: that that offense, you know, pulled it out for them,

  Speaker 1: they like multiple times. It wasn't that that Saya Suzuki

  Speaker 1: home run in the eighth, I believe, uh, I think

  Speaker 1: it began the eighth. He just hit a rocket after

  Speaker 1: the Cubs blew the lead. They had a six to

  Speaker 1: still win that. Game that's one of those things where

  Speaker 1: feeling after a six and one homestand that they almost did,

  Speaker 1: That and it's like. No seven to zero homestand really impressive.

  Speaker 1: like they were doing it without three maybe four. Guys

  Speaker 1: you could say for majority of this, STRETCH pca hasn't been,

  Speaker 1: been showing any, power And Alex bregman just wasn't, himself

  Speaker 1: didn't feel like he was getting the ball in the
