- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood. See you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: You're on a kiss Seacrest with you grabbing Emma one
- 0:12Speaker 2: eight five to one two seven, Emma, good morning. So
- 0:16Speaker 2: you had a humiliating moment with your boyfriend's parents and
- 0:19Speaker 2: now yes, and now you want to win them over,
- 0:24Speaker 2: but you're dreading it. What happened.
- 0:27Speaker 3: It happened over Halloween. My boyfriend had a Halloween party
- 0:32Speaker 3: and I was under the impression that it was just
- 0:34Speaker 3: for our friends, but he also invited his family unbeknownst
- 0:39Speaker 3: to me, and I showed up in a very revealing
- 0:43Speaker 3: sexy nurse costume, and I will never forget the look
- 0:46Speaker 3: on his family's faces when.
- 0:48Speaker 4: I walked in the door, and so kind of, well
- 0:52Speaker 4: most kind of.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Since then, I've been avoiding them as much as I can.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I successfully dodged not seeing them over the holidays, and
- 1:01Speaker 3: my boyfriend knows I'm embarrassed. He doesn't know I'm actively
- 1:05Speaker 3: avoiding his family. But it's his birthday at the end
- 1:08Speaker 3: of the month, and we're doing a dinner with his family,
- 1:13Speaker 3: and I just my time has come to face them again,
- 1:18Speaker 3: and I just don't know.
- 1:20Speaker 4: What to do if I mentioned it, I just play cool.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Oh I am just.
- 1:26Speaker 4: So.
- 1:26Speaker 2: First of all, space is good, gap in time is good.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Memories wane, they soften, so that's good news. You can't
- 1:33Speaker 2: kick the can inevitably forever. And here's the thing. You
- 1:36Speaker 2: don't acknowledge it. If it comes up, you own it.
- 1:38Speaker 2: That's simple.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's a good plan.
- 1:42Speaker 3: And I really didn't think of them.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Not something super embarrassing happened to me early on in
- 1:47Speaker 5: the years with Michael and I and his whole family
- 1:50Speaker 5: not sexy nurse outfit. But he sent a picture of
- 1:54Speaker 5: him at the Dodger game and said my view. I
- 1:56Speaker 5: didn't realize it was a group text. This is years
- 1:59Speaker 5: ago before you can see names in group texts. And
- 2:02Speaker 5: so then I took a picture of me in the
- 2:03Speaker 5: bathroom because I'd just gone out of the shower in
- 2:06Speaker 5: my towel selfie and said my view, and I sent
- 2:09Speaker 5: it back to his entire family. And this is like
- 2:14Speaker 5: maybe like four months into us dating and so man,
- 2:18Speaker 5: and then.
- 2:18Speaker 1: That is it.
- 2:19Speaker 5: It just became a joke, and it just became like, oh,
- 2:20Speaker 5: we're gonna get more selfies, so.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Just own it.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So either it doesn't come up, and when it comes up,
- 2:28Speaker 2: you can't be bothered by it.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah, own it.
- 2:30Speaker 2: That's good advice, Sisney, a great one and it's a
- 2:33Speaker 2: nice breaker.
- 2:34Speaker 1: A good luck with the meeting.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Okay, true, thank you so much.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Take care, bye bye. The feeling of being just mortified
- 2:44Speaker 2: in that first moment of every organ in your body stops, right,
- 2:50Speaker 2: blood stops, it freezes, everything stops.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You suffocate. You're like reverse reverse reverse, can't.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Reverse you do? Oh wow, I'm trying to think of
- 3:00Speaker 2: a story like that.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I have I don't. I'm sorry, all right.
- 3:04Speaker 2: We gotta take a break one or two point seven
- 3:06Speaker 2: kiss FM. If you were in the valley recently and
- 3:10Speaker 2: you were at Sportsman's Lodge, you better watch your back
- 3:13Speaker 2: because Systey's coming after you.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You are a thief. This happens to all of us.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I know you're a thief. Someone blatantly stole your parking space.
- 3:23Speaker 1: What happened?
- 3:24Speaker 2: So this.
- 3:25Speaker 5: If you've been to the shops at Sportsman's Lodge, you
- 3:28Speaker 5: know the parking there is wild, and especially during peak
- 3:32Speaker 5: hours like lunchtime or like when people get off work. Honestly,
- 3:35Speaker 5: anytime of the day, it's crazy. So I was waiting
- 3:38Speaker 5: for a spot. And you know how I like to.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Back my car in, right, I mean you are, yes,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I love that.
- 3:46Speaker 5: When I back it in, then when I'm ready to leave,
- 3:48Speaker 5: I just leave. I don't have to wait and look
- 3:50Speaker 5: for cars. So I went to pull forward. I was
- 3:53Speaker 5: waiting for the spot forever, and then they leave, and
- 3:55Speaker 5: then I will go to pull forward and to reverse
- 3:57Speaker 5: it in, and then someone comes from behind and just
- 4:00Speaker 5: swoops right in.
- 4:01Speaker 1: As if they did not see me, because I did
- 4:04Speaker 1: not pass it. I was going forward to reverse into it.
- 4:07Speaker 6: I think you can't reverse into spots when you're out
- 4:10Speaker 6: in the wild.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Wait out in the wild.
- 4:13Speaker 7: Here we get here so early, there's nobody really around.
- 4:16Speaker 7: You can do your thing. But like when there's other
- 4:18Speaker 7: people around, you can't do it.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, I'm with Tony that you're running
- 4:23Speaker 2: a risk by doing this whole three point turnaround. Keep
- 4:27Speaker 2: backing it in where people are confused with what you're doing.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Like if I were to see you doing the back end,
- 4:31Speaker 2: I would think, oh, she's going the other way. I'm
- 4:33Speaker 2: taking the spot. So when you do this your efficiency
- 4:36Speaker 2: parking model, you saw me aware that you may be
- 4:39Speaker 2: sending the wrong signal.
- 4:40Speaker 1: They definitely saw me, they knew that I was waiting.
- 4:43Speaker 1: They were just a jerk. And so did you see
- 4:46Speaker 1: a lot at your window down? What did you do?
- 4:48Speaker 5: I did not, Huh. I was frustrated, but it was
- 4:50Speaker 5: just one of those things, and I was like, Okay,
- 4:52Speaker 5: I'm not going to let this ruin my day because
- 4:54Speaker 5: otherwise I'm just going to be mean to everybody.
- 4:56Speaker 6: I've been seeing a lot of this lately.
- 4:58Speaker 7: We were pulling out of a spot and there was
- 4:59Speaker 7: a car like with their blinker to take our spot,
- 5:01Speaker 7: and another car came from the other side of the
- 5:04Speaker 7: street and went into it before the other car that
- 5:06Speaker 7: was waiting.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Yeah, at least every time I'm there someone's fighting. Like
- 5:10Speaker 5: there's like people honking or yelling at each other. Because
- 5:12Speaker 5: this happens often, especially there.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Don't be one of those people. Less it affect you,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and don't be almost feel that cuts off the park. Also,
- 5:18Speaker 2: stop with the three point turnaround back and that's really hard, honestly.
- 5:22Speaker 2: How don't two point seven Kiss FM appreciate you checking
- 5:26Speaker 2: in with us as your regular routine in the morning.
- 5:28Speaker 1: If you just listen to us for the first time.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Hi, I'm Ryan Sisney, Tanya, Sophia our intern by the way, Sophia,
- 5:33Speaker 2: our intern who lives with other people. We've all done this,
- 5:36Speaker 2: We've all had roommates. I had a plethora roommates back
- 5:39Speaker 2: in the day coming through the system here when I
- 5:42Speaker 2: first moved out to LA. It's just like a write
- 5:44Speaker 2: a passage you got to share when you first get here.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Yep.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And some weird stuff, some strange things happen when you
- 5:50Speaker 2: live with people.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It's amazing. Yeah, people can be unique. Yeah they could
- 5:58Speaker 1: be unique.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Feel what's the latest problem, and your roommate does listen,
- 6:03Speaker 2: so high roommate can go ahead.
- 6:06Speaker 8: So thankfully. I roommates with my two best friends, and
- 6:09Speaker 8: they recently came to me and were like, we want
- 6:12Speaker 8: to buy an espresso machine. And espresso machines are like
- 6:16Speaker 8: three hundred dollars off the bat, and they're like, okay,
- 6:20Speaker 8: we can just buy it and then we'll all just
- 6:21Speaker 8: split the cost and use it and have like a.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Bar in our apartment.
- 6:26Speaker 8: The only issue is is that I don't drink coffee
- 6:28Speaker 8: like that. And even if I was to get into coffee,
- 6:31Speaker 8: I feel like I would start off with maybe like
- 6:32Speaker 8: a cold brew from the grocery store.
- 6:35Speaker 1: So if we were to split the cost.
- 6:37Speaker 8: Like, I don't want to be pitching in that much money,
- 6:40Speaker 8: even though I don't drink the coffee.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Right, and they expect you to pitch in for it
- 6:46Speaker 2: as a non coffee advocate.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they do.
- 6:48Speaker 8: And I've told them like, hey, I don't really you know,
- 6:50Speaker 8: drink coffee. I'm more of a tea person. And they're like, oh, well,
- 6:53Speaker 8: there's three of us, so we'll I'll just split it equally.
- 6:55Speaker 2: That's all you should never should never to your roommates.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Never live with just a tea person. That's just a bag.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I would warn you about that before you even got
- 7:05Speaker 2: started on this path. I think it's totally fair that
- 7:09Speaker 2: you don't pay for it and you don't use it,
- 7:12Speaker 2: like you just need to make sure you don't borrow
- 7:14Speaker 2: it or use it every once in a while. And
- 7:16Speaker 2: if they want to espresso machine, then they need to go.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they need to split it, just the two of them.
- 7:21Speaker 8: But then I'm kind of nervous because what if I
- 7:23Speaker 8: want to try the espresso one day?
- 7:29Speaker 7: Yeah, you could probably get some tea pods for it, right,
- 7:34Speaker 7: But I feel like, for me.
- 7:34Speaker 1: You have to pay for it. So you got to
- 7:36Speaker 1: decide what you want to do. I'd rather not pay
- 7:38Speaker 1: for it, not use it. Yeah that's true. I'll just
- 7:40Speaker 1: buy my coffee from the store if I get it,
- 7:42Speaker 1: and then it's going to add up to what the
- 7:44Speaker 1: costs would have been for you to just hapause.
- 7:48Speaker 2: You gotta you gotta understand these things. You bring an
- 7:51Speaker 2: espresso machine into your life, where do you put it?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Counter space? Then when you guys all break up and
- 7:55Speaker 2: split up, who gets it?
- 7:57Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 7:59Speaker 5: Well, having roommates, so they're just never gonna have anything,
- 8:03Speaker 5: they won't have a couch, they won't have a coffee table.
- 8:08Speaker 2: To your remates to be aware, she's only a tea drinker. Really,
- 8:10Speaker 2: here we go kiss FM. So your quote of the
- 8:13Speaker 2: day in just a second. But this is interesting. If
- 8:15Speaker 2: you're not having a great day and you just feel
- 8:17Speaker 2: like you may not get through it already, scientists say
- 8:21Speaker 2: you should do this instantly.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It will improve your mood.
- 8:23Speaker 2: And that is take a photo of ordinary moments like
- 8:26Speaker 2: making your coffee or feeding your pet. Scientists say it's
- 8:31Speaker 2: called mindful photography. It helps you appreciate the moment that
- 8:34Speaker 2: we are in, leading to improve health, happiness, and clarity.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So I guess it's the simple things in life that
- 8:40Speaker 2: bring you pleasure. You need to be reminded of those
- 8:42Speaker 2: with imagery to give you that feeling.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Again, I will tell you it works. It works.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Remember the steak I had Thursday night last week? Yeah,
- 8:51Speaker 2: I looked at that photo all weekend.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I did. I looked at all week and it actually
- 8:57Speaker 1: made me feel better. I know what you mean. Though.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Sometimes I take the mixtures of ASA's hair like and
- 9:01Speaker 5: I do like a new hairstyle on her, and then
- 9:03Speaker 5: when I go back to look at it, it makes
- 9:04Speaker 5: me happy.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Here's today's quote.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Even if you don't have all the things you want,
- 9:08Speaker 2: to be grateful for the things you don't have now.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You don't want, oh preach.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You're on Kiss FM one of two point seventy Los
- 9:16Speaker 2: Angeles weddings.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Not at the top of my list. Not at the
- 9:20Speaker 1: top of my list, you do say the top of
- 9:23Speaker 1: a lot of goals lists.
- 9:25Speaker 2: A lot of mileage out of going to a wedding. Recently,
- 9:29Speaker 2: Kanya's Oh.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm coming up on a year on that crazy.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Last wedding I attended. Last wedding I thought about attending.
- 9:36Speaker 2: But now they're saying that the micro wedding is a
- 9:39Speaker 2: popular version of the wedding. What is the micro wedding
- 9:42Speaker 2: and why is it so popular?
- 9:43Speaker 5: So this was a trend that kind of blew up
- 9:45Speaker 5: during the COVID years because people were forced to have
- 9:48Speaker 5: small gatherings for weddings, and so it was very small, intimate,
- 9:53Speaker 5: maybe twenty five to fifty people that would be considered
- 9:56Speaker 5: a micro wedding. And they're saying they're making a comeback
- 9:59Speaker 5: for this year's specif Nickleen twenty twenty six, I feel
- 10:01Speaker 5: like if you did get married, or when you get married, Ryan,
- 10:05Speaker 5: you might go to micro wedding route.
- 10:07Speaker 9: Uh.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Look, I mean you've heard me preach about weddings. I
- 10:11Speaker 2: have nothing against them. They just haven't been at the
- 10:13Speaker 2: top of my priority list recently. But maybe if that
- 10:16Speaker 2: changes with time that goes by.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, No, But.
- 10:19Speaker 2: If if I were to get into this whole thing
- 10:23Speaker 2: of a wedding, I would definitely do it quietly alone.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I mean maybe with my partner, but no big group
- 10:30Speaker 2: gathering of friends and family and having to deal with
- 10:34Speaker 2: an invitation list. So if you're unmarried, is it at
- 10:37Speaker 2: the top of a list of yours?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Not the top? No, she's so young.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So we'll both youth, both young. Yeah on my list
- 10:47Speaker 2: either what's at the top of your list?
- 10:50Speaker 8: Probably getting through school hopefully, Yeah, your career.
- 10:55Speaker 1: There time to micro wed yourself.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Well, they're saying, these weddings are ye more personal, they're
- 11:01Speaker 5: easy to budget for, and let's face it, I feel
- 11:03Speaker 5: like everyone is broke these days. So it's just comes
- 11:07Speaker 5: down to budgeting for these couples. And so they're like,
- 11:09Speaker 5: are we going to spend hundreds and the thousands of
- 11:11Speaker 5: dollars for a big, giant wedding that ends up becoming
- 11:15Speaker 5: more of like a show or do we have something
- 11:17Speaker 5: more intimate and smaller and you save more.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I don't.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I don't know why I'm so clear on weddings, having
- 11:24Speaker 2: never had one, but I'm very clear on this.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you know he was is more less is more?
- 11:29Speaker 1: O two point seven gis FM.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Okay, let's see this is called the scary hour. A
- 11:35Speaker 2: lot of people have been bringing this up lately, the
- 11:38Speaker 2: scary hour. Do you even know what it is? Do
- 11:40Speaker 2: you have one to eat Disney things? We need a
- 11:42Speaker 2: scary hour every day?
- 11:42Speaker 1: What is it?
- 11:43Speaker 5: So it's basically an hour that you set aside for
- 11:46Speaker 5: all the stress and stressful tasks that you have on
- 11:49Speaker 5: your to do list or in your life or whatever
- 11:51Speaker 5: you have to get done, because I know for me,
- 11:54Speaker 5: I kind of just write stuff down on my to
- 11:56Speaker 5: do list, okay, like scheduled donsisappointment, call the insurance and
- 11:59Speaker 5: fix whatever I need to fix with that, and this
- 12:01Speaker 5: for the kids and whatever.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Right, it's endless.
- 12:03Speaker 5: But maybe and I feel like sometimes you get a
- 12:06Speaker 5: few things done, but you don't ever like get through
- 12:08Speaker 5: the list because because it's just it's overwhelming. So what
- 12:12Speaker 5: you should do is set aside an hour, maybe it's
- 12:15Speaker 5: once a week, so you can start small, and you legit
- 12:18Speaker 5: put a timer and you're like, this is the hour
- 12:21Speaker 5: I'm getting everything done. And then you commit to that
- 12:23Speaker 5: one hour, no interruptions. And they say it really is
- 12:27Speaker 5: like a stress reliever and it helps you so much.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's all over TikTok. It's gone viral. So I'm kind
- 12:32Speaker 1: of into this. So scary are because it's the scary task,
- 12:34Speaker 1: the difficult test, just like that exactly. Yes, I like
- 12:39Speaker 1: it too.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I think that the problem I have this problem, actually,
- 12:42Speaker 2: I have this problem with things that are incoming to me,
- 12:45Speaker 2: like a lot of work, things that are incoming.
- 12:47Speaker 1: On all over the place.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I just want to say, can you just send
- 12:50Speaker 2: them all to me at four? Like everything that needs
- 12:54Speaker 2: to answer, Just send them all at once? Yeah, because
- 12:57Speaker 2: you get scattered in sidetracked and does save more time.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I don't the name of it, but I like the
- 13:01Speaker 2: idea of it.
- 13:01Speaker 6: Yeah, the name is misleading, but I get it.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Let's call the productive period. Do you know the production
- 13:08Speaker 2: rate to make it happen?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Get it done? Hour? All right? Ryan Rose is coming out.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's time.
- 13:17Speaker 2: For Ryan's roses on Kiss FM. Thanks for waiting. If
- 13:20Speaker 2: you just got here, I'm gonna jump into it. Amy says,
- 13:24Speaker 2: my husband's trying to get sober. I'm really proud of him.
- 13:26Speaker 2: As part of the making Amend's process. He confessed to
- 13:29Speaker 2: a drunken one night stand earlier this year. It destroyed
- 13:33Speaker 2: my trust in him, even though I want to be supportive.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Seeing who he sends the roses to would help rebuild
- 13:40Speaker 2: that trust.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Okay, let's get to.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Amy.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Good morning, Amy. Thank you for reaching out.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Now we acknowledge the level of complexity here because you've
- 13:54Speaker 2: got your husband doing a great thing while he's getting
- 13:57Speaker 2: sober and going back and as you said, making amends
- 14:02Speaker 2: and being truthful. The problem is the truth that he
- 14:05Speaker 2: had to confess is a big violation in your trust
- 14:08Speaker 2: in your relationship.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, that's right.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I mean, look, I don't need to know much about
- 14:16Speaker 2: the one night stand. I don't need to know anything
- 14:18Speaker 2: about that. I think My question here is this is
- 14:22Speaker 2: really simple. I don't know why are we calling him?
- 14:26Speaker 2: Because if you already know he had the affair, what
- 14:27Speaker 2: are we asking him about?
- 14:29Speaker 4: Okay, well, okay, so I guess you know. My husband's
- 14:33Speaker 4: been sober for about six months, and a few weeks
- 14:36Speaker 4: ago he set me down confessed to be one night
- 14:39Speaker 4: stand that he had while he was drinking, and it
- 14:42Speaker 4: happened earlier this year, like before he got sober, but
- 14:45Speaker 4: of course, like hearing it now completely shattered me. So
- 14:49Speaker 4: I am trying to support him and I want to
- 14:51Speaker 4: believe this new version of him, But ever since that confession,
- 14:57Speaker 4: my trust has been barely holding together. He swears he
- 15:01Speaker 4: is committed to us and to his sobriety, but I
- 15:04Speaker 4: can't get past this fear that like, there's just more
- 15:08Speaker 4: I don't know. So for me, sending the roses is
- 15:12Speaker 4: less about catching him in something new and more about
- 15:17Speaker 4: just seeing where his heart is right now, if he
- 15:21Speaker 4: is fully present in his marriage and I need to
- 15:24Speaker 4: hear it. I mean I need to hear it, and
- 15:26Speaker 4: I need something to help me believe him again.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Okay, let's just say that, Dan, Let's make the call.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Let's get to the bottom of this next for you.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, thank you, thank you. Hold on one second.
- 15:39Speaker 2: It is Ryan's roses. I feel like if this goes well,
- 15:43Speaker 2: she makes the choice to forgive him, to move on,
- 15:45Speaker 2: and let's go right well, Stein kiss a time for
- 15:48Speaker 2: the call on Ryan's roses. If you just arrived, Amy's
- 15:52Speaker 2: on the phone. Good news is her husband's getting sober.
- 15:55Speaker 2: As part of the process, he's got to go back
- 15:58Speaker 2: and confess things. He told her the truth about a
- 16:00Speaker 2: one night stand earlier this year. I guess she wants
- 16:03Speaker 2: the peace of mind that this is the only thing.
- 16:07Speaker 2: This is it that he did confess everything. This call
- 16:11Speaker 2: will seal hopefully that peace of mind if it goes well.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So Amy, I guess my question is if if you
- 16:17Speaker 2: find out that he sends these roses to you, and
- 16:19Speaker 2: you have no more real doubt here because he's already
- 16:21Speaker 2: confessed that one night stand, have you made the choice.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Are you going to make the choice to forgive and
- 16:26Speaker 2: move on and be with him?
- 16:29Speaker 4: I mean, that's my hope. I think it will help
- 16:35Speaker 4: me understand that I can move forward and continue making
- 16:40Speaker 4: that choice. Does that make sense?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:43Speaker 5: Amy, When you say earlier this year, you mean like
- 16:45Speaker 5: last year?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Technically, right?
- 16:48Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 16:49Speaker 5: I was just like it wasn't day, it wasn't days ago,
- 16:51Speaker 5: it was like early last year.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Got it? Got Yeah. So he's been sitting with us
- 16:56Speaker 1: for a while and he finally just told.
- 16:57Speaker 10: You that's right.
- 17:00Speaker 2: M Well, we're going to dial him now. Be very
- 17:03Speaker 2: very quiet, Okay, I want to find out what he says.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I need you to say, Ryan, you have my permission
- 17:07Speaker 2: to call, and then your husband's name.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Go ahead, okay, Ryan, you have my permission to call.
- 17:15Speaker 1: All right, what's the name of the person he had
- 17:19Speaker 1: the affair with?
- 17:21Speaker 4: A uh kylo?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Okay, here we go. Be very quiet. Good luck. We
- 17:28Speaker 1: wish you well. Hello, Hi, can I speak to Nate please?
- 17:43Speaker 3: This is Hi.

- 18:14Speaker 11: kind of sounds weird, but like that would actually be
- 18:17Speaker 11: kind of perfect amazing.
- 18:20Speaker 5: So we can start with the note. And who would
- 18:24Speaker 5: you like to send these flowers to?

- 18:44Speaker 11: my wife.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Great, And what would you like to put on the card?
- 18:50Speaker 12: Well, jeez, like, I'm I'm not really good at like
- 18:55Speaker 12: romantic notes, and what I really can you can you
- 18:57Speaker 12: kind of write.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Something I can't, But it would be so much better
- 19:01Speaker 5: if it's coming from you, Like, what what do you
- 19:04Speaker 5: love about her?
- 19:06Speaker 4: Well?
- 19:07Speaker 11: I mean she's like everything to me.
- 19:09Speaker 12: I mean I completely I do not deserve her, honestly,
- 19:14Speaker 12: I'm a bit of a mess and I'm working on it,
- 19:17Speaker 12: but she's just a complete angel.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I've put her.
- 19:20Speaker 11: Through a lot and I don't know.
- 19:23Speaker 4: I'm not going to do that anymore.
- 19:27Speaker 5: What Okay, what if we wrote something like to my angel,
- 19:33Speaker 5: I don't deserve you.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Love Nate?
- 19:37Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:38Speaker 11: All right, Yeah that's good if that works.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Nate, your voice is being broadcast on the
- 19:45Speaker 2: radio and we've got your wife on the line.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Thank you so much for staying on with us.
- 19:49Speaker 2: We just wanted to connect you guys because I know
- 19:53Speaker 2: that you're working on some personal things here, including your relationship,
- 19:57Speaker 2: and I think your wife may have a thought or
- 20:00Speaker 2: to our message for you.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Amy. Would you like to say anything to Nate?
- 20:04Speaker 2: What?
- 20:06Speaker 4: Amy? Yeah? Hey, maybe we shouldn't have done this, but
- 20:12Speaker 4: I just need to know where your heart was. Like
- 20:15Speaker 4: that one night stand story really rocked me.
- 20:21Speaker 11: Oh my god.
- 20:22Speaker 1: All right, I know, I know.
- 20:25Speaker 4: All right, I know you're putting in the work, and
- 20:29Speaker 4: I just really want to trust you again, Amy, Amy, Right.
- 20:35Speaker 11: I know, I know, and I'll do I'll do whatever
- 20:39Speaker 11: it whatever it takes. I love you, you know, I
- 20:43Speaker 11: love you so much, and I'm so sorry.
- 20:45Speaker 12: I already told you.
- 20:46Speaker 4: You know, you have to believe.
- 20:47Speaker 11: I'm so sorry.
- 20:54Speaker 2: So Amy, we are going to get out of your
- 20:56Speaker 2: business here. I think we can go from the one
- 21:00Speaker 2: night stand? Was just the one night stand? It sounds
- 21:02Speaker 2: that way, And what's your Are you going to take
- 21:06Speaker 2: the path of forgiveness?
- 21:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:11Speaker 4: I don't. I don't know, but just did help list Okay, okay, definitely.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Help glad to thank you, Luck Journey.
- 21:20Speaker 11: I don't even remember it. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Good luck, thank you both, and good luck Amy, good luck,
- 21:28Speaker 2: Nate appreciate that I didn't that go well? Yes, okay, yes,
- 21:39Speaker 2: I think so he's working on it. I was like,
- 21:43Speaker 2: she's getting there.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Le's kiss Out on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Say in the world is small, and here is a
- 21:51Speaker 2: case of that on Kiss FM. Have you ever gotten
- 21:55Speaker 2: information that you stumbled upon and you feel like you
- 21:59Speaker 2: have to share it, but it's going to ruin people's lives.
- 22:01Speaker 1: That's the situation right here. Monica and Echo Park Monica,
- 22:05Speaker 1: good morning, good morning.
- 22:08Speaker 10: It's crazy. I was on a flight recently and I
- 22:12Speaker 10: just started, you know, talking to the person next to me,
- 22:15Speaker 10: and it turns out it was a super, super small world,
- 22:20Speaker 10: that she used to be married to my best friends
- 22:26Speaker 10: current fiance.
- 22:29Speaker 1: And what did she have to say about this fiance?
- 22:33Speaker 10: He did not she had awful things to say about him,
- 22:38Speaker 10: but she said he's a total psycho. Oh, and that
- 22:44Speaker 10: he's awful, that she's psyched, that she not married.
- 22:48Speaker 13: Him anymore, and like, I don't know what to do now, Like,
- 22:54Speaker 13: on one hand, his ex wife is going to have
- 22:59Speaker 13: bad things to say about him, obviously, Like that's normal, right, sure,
- 23:04Speaker 13: And I'm sure he has bad things to say about
- 23:07Speaker 13: her too, But.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Do you know how well do you know him? Your
- 23:13Speaker 2: sister's about to marry him, how well do you know him?
- 23:17Speaker 10: I mean, I've met him and he seems great, and
- 23:23Speaker 10: she's always said like everybody loves him, And.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I don't know, like did she know that married before?
- 23:34Speaker 10: Yes, she knew that. She knew he was married before,
- 23:38Speaker 10: but like she his ex wife has said horrible things
- 23:42Speaker 10: about him, and I just I don't know what to do.
- 23:45Speaker 10: Should I tell my friend or not? Because I don't
- 23:48Speaker 10: want to. I want to save her if it's going
- 23:51Speaker 10: to be a disastrous marriage.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Right, you need to tell her what you need to
- 23:57Speaker 2: tell her? There's no absolutely can you imagine and if
- 24:00Speaker 2: you didn't say these things sort and she found out
- 24:03Speaker 2: that you kind of had a warning episode, a warning sign,
- 24:07Speaker 2: and you didn't share that with her, and things go
- 24:08Speaker 2: bad with this guy. That's gonna be a very big
- 24:11Speaker 2: issue with your friendship. So my guidance is, there's a
- 24:14Speaker 2: reason you found out this information. There's a reason you
- 24:16Speaker 2: sat beside this woman. You've got to share it.
- 24:20Speaker 10: Okay, what do I say?
- 24:22Speaker 14: Like, how do I?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Oh, my god, that's up to you. I can't. We
- 24:25Speaker 1: can't tell you what to say, but you got to
- 24:26Speaker 1: share it in good luck.
- 24:27Speaker 10: I don't know, Okay, all right, all right, thank you.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Thanks Monica, you got it. That happened for a reason.
- 24:34Speaker 2: The universe put them together. She's got to share the information.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You can share it.
- 24:38Speaker 6: In a way that's not like I believe this woman.
- 24:40Speaker 6: You can share in a way like.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah, correct, But.
- 24:45Speaker 2: To not say would be a problem. Yes, well it
- 24:48Speaker 2: is one or two point seven kiss FM Ryan seacrets
- 24:52Speaker 2: sis any Tanya Jordan has stepped into the main studio
- 24:56Speaker 2: from the phone room. Just quick morning the on Jordan
- 25:01Speaker 2: moved Burbank Lancaster back to Burbank Burrows High Studied Communications
- 25:07Speaker 2: and here she is at Kiss FM. It feels like
- 25:10Speaker 2: the right move, right after all that studying feels like
- 25:13Speaker 2: the right move. So I don't know what it is
- 25:16Speaker 2: that excites ciciney Tani and I so much about you
- 25:19Speaker 2: going out to clubs and meeting strangers, but we're into it. Yeah,
- 25:23Speaker 2: so you went to No Vacancy. You saw a guy.
- 25:26Speaker 2: He was cute in that light, and you walked up
- 25:29Speaker 2: and you got his number, and you guys traded whatever,
- 25:31Speaker 2: and then you went out.
- 25:32Speaker 1: And then I appreciate your honesty.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Then you realized that what you saw in the club
- 25:37Speaker 2: was not what you saw in the wild in real life.
- 25:41Speaker 14: Call thatgle so real, guys, it's not only beer goggles.
- 25:47Speaker 14: It's dim lighting club like Casa Vega lighting club lighting.
- 25:53Speaker 14: Don't let it fool you, but it did.
- 25:56Speaker 2: But what I was impressed with, Jordan was that you noticed,
- 26:00Speaker 2: you reacted internally, but you still went out and hung out,
- 26:04Speaker 2: and you were a nice, generous person.
- 26:07Speaker 1: You didn't just sort of like blow him off.
- 26:09Speaker 9: Right, Yeah, he was a nice guy. He was a
- 26:12Speaker 9: nice guy, but not so cute, not so cute.
- 26:15Speaker 1: So still not so cute. Did you go on the
- 26:17Speaker 1: second date, not.
- 26:18Speaker 9: The second date, but the first date it was still great. Yeah,
- 26:23Speaker 9: there was like a little bit of a twist this
- 26:24Speaker 9: past weekend. Uh, just a little bit of a shocker.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Now I'm confused.
- 26:30Speaker 9: I might need some help figuring out what the next
- 26:32Speaker 9: step is if I should.
- 26:33Speaker 1: God, I'm here to we are what's the twist? The
- 26:37Speaker 1: chakra the curve at your service?
- 26:39Speaker 9: Yeah, I well, I went to No Vacancy again with
- 26:41Speaker 9: my friend. I don't know what it is about that club,
- 26:43Speaker 9: I love it, But yeah, we went out again. My
- 26:47Speaker 9: friend and I went our separate ways for a little bit,
- 26:49Speaker 9: and then he came back to me and said, oh,
- 26:51Speaker 9: I think I saw the guy you went on a
- 26:53Speaker 9: date with, But he was with another girl, and we
- 26:57Speaker 9: had already gone on our first date. And we've been
- 27:00Speaker 9: talking here and there, just checking in on each other.
- 27:04Speaker 9: Very nice, very civil.
- 27:05Speaker 1: We were.
- 27:06Speaker 9: I was gonna prepare to ask him if he wanted
- 27:08Speaker 9: to hang out again, because even though he wasn't the
- 27:11Speaker 9: cutest guy, I really think he was a gentleman and
- 27:15Speaker 9: he treated me right.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So I was like, you know, I can.
- 27:18Speaker 9: Get past the little the looks and you know, give
- 27:22Speaker 9: him another shot. But then I saw that and I
- 27:25Speaker 9: wasn't really hurt by it. But I'm just like, I
- 27:29Speaker 9: don't know, I don't know what the thoughts are like.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Hold on, The thoughts are easy on this.
- 27:35Speaker 2: You don't think he's hot or cute, and he's seeing
- 27:38Speaker 2: other people and right now, and so I don't think
- 27:42Speaker 2: you need to be so kind and generous.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Just move on. Such a weird thing.
- 27:46Speaker 9: I'm such a nice person and I'm always down to
- 27:48Speaker 9: get feels like chances.
- 27:50Speaker 5: What was he doing with this girl? Were they like
- 27:52Speaker 5: kissing or no? No, I wouldn't answer that. They're really
- 27:56Speaker 5: close and they were by the bar.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Okay, But I think just to get there, he's a nice,
- 28:03Speaker 2: gentleman guy. He should be a wing guy for you,
- 28:07Speaker 2: like he doesn't.
- 28:08Speaker 1: He's a nice guy. You got to like shift him.
- 28:09Speaker 2: In a different category and be a wing guy, yes,
- 28:12Speaker 2: because you don't know what you're talking about.
- 28:14Speaker 1: What do you want a wing guy?
- 28:15Speaker 6: You want a wing woman, not a wing guy.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Guy's gonna repel other men?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Well she can't. She got to put him into a
- 28:21Speaker 2: different category. I think that city. Move on, Yeah, move on.
- 28:26Speaker 2: All these signs are not right. You don't think he
- 28:28Speaker 2: is that pretty, and you've now found out that he's
- 28:33Speaker 2: seeing a bunch of other people, or at least one.
- 28:35Speaker 2: This is time to move on. Now, when you go
- 28:37Speaker 2: back to no Vacancy, you might see him again and
- 28:39Speaker 2: again and again. So how will you handle that?
- 28:43Speaker 4: You know?
- 28:43Speaker 9: That's when I got to put all my big girl's
- 28:45Speaker 9: shoes and kind of just like show him that he
- 28:48Speaker 9: missed out.
- 28:49Speaker 14: Yeah, oh my gosh, I love it when we unpacked
- 28:55Speaker 14: the big girl's shoes.
- 28:56Speaker 1: That's that's fun.
- 28:58Speaker 2: We haven't put big girls shoes on in a long
- 28:59Speaker 2: time on this show. All right, Well, I think I
- 29:03Speaker 2: don't feel so bad about all of this, but I
- 29:05Speaker 2: do like to me the key takeaway was you took charge,
- 29:09Speaker 2: you went up to him, you gave him the number.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's not perfect. Fine, we move on. Next. What night
- 29:15Speaker 1: was it a Friday? Saturday? Tuesday? The date was a Saturday?
- 29:19Speaker 1: The night out was? What night? Is no vacancy hot?
- 29:22Speaker 4: Oh?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Fridays for sure?
- 29:23Speaker 2: Friday, next Friday. It's a new look. It's big girl's
- 29:26Speaker 2: shoes and a whole new vibe.
- 29:27Speaker 1: All right, I'm ready.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Thank you very much for sharing your personal life with us.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Ida is on Kiss FM. I want to talk about
- 29:36Speaker 2: uncomfortable conversations in relationships that you should have before you
- 29:41Speaker 2: get into relationships. Now, I could actually apply this because
- 29:48Speaker 2: I would be at the stage of beginning and would
- 29:50Speaker 2: need to cover what they say you should talk about
- 29:52Speaker 2: before you get too deep. I assume you may or
- 29:56Speaker 2: may not. Assistanty have covered tiny, have covered these things
- 29:59Speaker 2: before you got in deep? Oh yeah, what do you
- 30:01Speaker 2: find now, cisiny? What do you find out to be
- 30:04Speaker 2: the most like uncomfortable conversation that you have to have,
- 30:10Speaker 2: Like about real life with Michael uncomfortable.
- 30:15Speaker 1: There's nothing uncomfortable. We money, taxes.
- 30:21Speaker 5: It's not uncomfortable money and taxes and finances and things
- 30:24Speaker 5: like that, because it's just real life. And so I
- 30:27Speaker 5: know that that's just things we have to deal with.
- 30:29Speaker 5: But the conversations we have like right now are more
- 30:32Speaker 5: like our five ten year plans because we have to
- 30:35Speaker 5: think that far ahead with like the kids and like
- 30:38Speaker 5: school and like and just the house and you know,
- 30:41Speaker 5: the improvement improvements that we have to make to the
- 30:44Speaker 5: house and like things like that.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I'm trying to get to five days, I'm trying to
- 30:48Speaker 2: get to February. Yeah, come on, So all right, this
- 30:52Speaker 2: is stuff if you're getting into it with somebody. I'm
- 30:55Speaker 2: taking notes on this. I'm gonna see if I would
- 30:57Speaker 2: do it myself. They do say, talk about money, but
- 31:00Speaker 2: it's debt, spending habits. You want to know who you're
- 31:02Speaker 2: getting into it. Yeah, before you're surprised by it. Boundaries
- 31:06Speaker 2: with friends and family. Will your sister come over anytime
- 31:10Speaker 2: and just walk in?
- 31:12Speaker 1: That's a problem.
- 31:13Speaker 2: You may be used to that, but I don't want
- 31:16Speaker 2: her to have a key and roll right in.
- 31:17Speaker 5: That's literally my best friend Taja. She just like comes
- 31:20Speaker 5: over the house to pee and then leaves.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Because she's in the area.
- 31:24Speaker 2: I don't give my friends any sort of like access
- 31:28Speaker 2: to be able to do that, even if they.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Ask open door policy at our house. I don't know
- 31:34Speaker 1: the key head code of the garage.
- 31:36Speaker 2: And they do say before you get into relationship, you
- 31:38Speaker 2: got to talk about and I never do this stuff,
- 31:40Speaker 2: Like I'm the worst at this stuff. I never talked
- 31:42Speaker 2: about this, like talk about having kids when you're starting
- 31:45Speaker 2: to date somebody and how many you would want. I
- 31:47Speaker 2: would think that would scare someone off if I did that.
- 31:50Speaker 6: Well, not if you're aligned.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 31:53Speaker 5: If I'm aligned, you've already said I love you. You
- 31:56Speaker 5: know that it's going in that direction, things like.
- 31:59Speaker 1: That, how do you bring that? How picture me on
- 32:01Speaker 1: a date? Seven? How do I bring that up to somebody?
- 32:05Speaker 5: It's not on the date, it's it's when you guys
- 32:07Speaker 5: are lying in bed and you're fantasizing about the future.
- 32:11Speaker 1: When you have those conversations lying in bed.
- 32:15Speaker 7: It's when you're out at a having breakfast together and
- 32:17Speaker 7: there's a really cute baby next to you and you're like, oh,
- 32:20Speaker 7: I can see us having a couple of those.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Cringe.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I cringe. That's not a good reaction, Ryan, It's a
- 32:29Speaker 1: great reaction because it's honest, true, And that's your answer.
