- 0:51Speaker 3: then carefully puts it in his backpack. From inside the bag,

- 1:29Speaker 3: and today we're diving into the quality that's essential to
- 1:34Speaker 3: living well, not just surviving, but thriving. Today's theme is resilience,
- 1:41Speaker 3: the ability to bend without breaking to keep showing up
- 1:45Speaker 3: when life gets messy, uncertain, or downright difficult. It's not
- 1:50Speaker 3: about pretending things you're fine. It's about becoming fine eventually
- 1:55Speaker 3: because you choose to keep going. But first, before we
- 2:00Speaker 3: get into all of that, it's time for our trivia question.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Are you ready for it? Here? It is what small
- 2:09Speaker 3: animal can survive being frozen solid and thought out again,
- 2:13Speaker 3: continuing life as normal. We will have the answer when
- 2:17Speaker 3: we come back. Hey, they're amazing listeners. Are you looking

- 3:58Speaker 3: back listeners. Do you know the answer to this week's
- 4:01Speaker 3: trivia question? The question was what small animal can survive
- 4:07Speaker 3: being frozen solid and thought out again, continuing life as normal.
- 4:12Speaker 3: The answer is the wood frog. Native to North America,
- 4:17Speaker 3: this amazing little creature can literally freeze during the winter.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Its heart stops beating, its blood stops flowing, and then
- 4:26Speaker 3: when spring comes, it thaws out and goes right back
- 4:30Speaker 3: to hopping around like nothing ever happened. Scientists say it
- 4:35Speaker 3: does this by flooding its system with glucose, which protects
- 4:39Speaker 3: itsels during freezing. Its weird and wonderful as an example
- 4:45Speaker 3: of natural resilience, a reminder that sometimes surviving the freeze
- 4:53Speaker 3: is just part of the journey. Resilience isn't about being
- 5:02Speaker 3: unaffected by life. It's about being affected deeply and choosing
- 5:08Speaker 3: to rise anyway. We all have our own freeze moments,
- 5:13Speaker 3: a loss, a failure, a setback that knocks the wind
- 5:17Speaker 3: out of us. But over time, if we nurture it,
- 5:21Speaker 3: resilience helps us to bounce back, not unchanged, but stronger, wiser,
- 5:27Speaker 3: and more compassionate. Resilience doesn't mean you're always smiling through
- 5:32Speaker 3: the storm. It means you trust that the storm will pass,
- 5:36Speaker 3: that you can rebuild, that you are not at your
- 5:40Speaker 3: worst moment. And like the tiny wood frog, sometimes the
- 5:44Speaker 3: world goes cold for a while, but given time, you'll thaw,
- 5:50Speaker 3: you'll heal, and you'll move forward again. This week, let
- 6:06Speaker 3: me leave you with this true story. In two thousand
- 6:11Speaker 3: and eight, a man named Jiya Haxia, who was blind,
- 6:17Speaker 3: teamed up with his friend Gia Wenji, who lost both
- 6:22Speaker 3: arms in an accident. Together, they started planting trees in
- 6:27Speaker 3: rural China to combat deforestation. One man can't see, the
- 6:34Speaker 3: other can't use his hands, but together they planted over
- 6:38Speaker 3: ten thousand trees. They didn't let their limitations define their impact.
- 6:45Speaker 3: They adapted, They supported each other, They refused to give up.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Now that's resilience. So today, whatever you're facing, remember this.
- 6:58Speaker 3: You may feel frozen tired, sit back, but you are
- 7:03Speaker 3: not defeated. You're still here, You're still capable, and your
- 7:08Speaker 3: story isn't finished just yet. Thanks for listening to Positively
- 7:13Speaker 3: three sixty five. Keep going, keep growing, and as always,
