- 1:21This is Viewpoint this Sunday.
- 1:27Welcome to the weekend news magazine.
- 1:31This Sunday, it is Malcolm Alloud here and privileged to be with you as always, my fellow Americans.
- 1:36We're going to do it here on the top of the broadcast here with two very, very interesting gentlemen.
- 1:40Privileged to have them both here.
- 1:42General Paul Vallile is here, a distinguished career, 31 years in the U.S.
- 1:47Army, retired as deputy commanding general, U.S.
- 1:50Army Pacific and Honolulu, Hawaii.
- 1:52Just a great patriot for freedom and safeguard the American dream.
- 1:59Standup America U.S.
- 2:01dot org.
- 2:01Him and General McEnerny have really been a movement there doing a lot of things to get people involved in freedom and what that means, especially our younger generations here.
- 2:11And privileged to have on a gentleman, John Q Naimi.
- 2:16And he is, let me tell you a little bit about John here.
- 2:19He's the he was born in Iran, by the way.
- 2:22He's the founder and chairman of a couple of things.
- 2:25Chamco International, but the big one I want to talk about is Cyrus Force.
- 2:30And this is uh he he's been a uh a loud voice uh with these efforts of freedom and democracy in Iran.
- 2:37And of course, Americans know too well all too well what that means.
- 2:40Uh but we'll I'm gonna get a sense from John of uh what that looks like in Iran on the ground here.
- 2:46Uh he has uh really dedicated his life to trying to bring Iran back uh as a as a free nation and uh welcome both of you gentlemen to the broadcasts and uh let's get started.
- 2:58We'll talk a little bit about the Cyrus force in a moment as well.
- 3:01But uh John, let me start with you, please, on this here uh from a sense of uh the the power struggle that's happening here in in Iran.
- 3:11Uh so let me explain.
- 3:12Pete Heggseth, the Secretary of War called the Iranian leadership rats who have gone underground.
- 3:18I guess I want to ask you, knowing the the radicalization of the people there and the regime itself uh and the sun now, can this be defeated?
- 3:30I mean, uh many Americans are not convinced it can be, but can they defeat this radicalized culture and how would it happen, John?
- 3:39Uh well first, thank you very much for having me in your program.
- 3:44Uh to answer your question, sir.
- 3:46Yes, that can be defeated.
- 3:49The mullahs are rat, as Mr.
- 3:52Hagsett mentioned.
- 3:54He is absolutely correct.
- 3:56And at this time, the people of Iran, they are celebrating passing out cookies to be bombarded by United States and Israel army together of the regime of the terrorism for the past 47 years, that they've been terrorizing the entire world, especially their own people.
- 4:17And in the past month, according to Fox News, they kill 42,000 people, but my information is that they kill over 147,000 people.
- 4:29Wow.
- 4:30Injure over 400,000 people, and in prison, over 300,000 people.
- 4:37And also the most brutal thing that this regime do, they go to the hospital and find the patient in the deathbed, and they shoot them in the head, and they also shoot the nurse and the doctors at the same time.
- 4:53And I never ever heard of any animals uh like this in my entire life.
- 4:58John, these these numbers you just said, we've heard high numbers from military experts on the program here, yes indeed.
- 5:06But numbers that more like between 30 and 50,000 tops.
- 5:10We've never heard numbers like you just uh spouted out there.
- 5:14How are those numbers true?
- 5:15How do we know they're true?
- 5:17And how do you know they're true?
- 5:18Okay, sir.
- 5:19I have a people.
- 5:21First of all, the Cyrus Force was formed with myself and the help of the General Valeli, and Dr.
- 5:30Sherry Raz, Mr.
- 5:31Joe Kaufman, and uh Mr.
- 5:34Sean McCloskey, and uh uh Orusha Ashrafi and many other uh love uh peace, the peace uh loving people in the America.
- 5:46And at the Cyrus Force, we've been fighting for uh I've been uh fighting that for over 47 years, and at the Cyrus Force we've been fighting Iran for over 17 years.
- 5:58And at this time, CIRS force have a proxies on every one of their state in Iran, nationwide.
- 6:06And we have the information very accurate.
- 6:10One of our members go to uh place that they keep the dead body to find out his cousin.
- 6:17There was over 460 people dead, over 460 in that one location.
- 6:24And there is 260 different locations in Iran that they're holding the dead body.
- 6:30You do your math.
- 6:31460 times 27.
- 6:36Okay.
- 6:36Wow, it's incredible.
- 6:38Absolutely incredible.
- 6:39Uh, General Paul Vallile, let me uh I want to stay on the radicalized culture moment, uh, General, and ask you.
- 6:45Uh I mean, I I hear what John's saying, but a lot of people don't believe this radicalized culture can be defeated because it's it's it's buried too deep in the minds of many, many Iranians.
- 6:56And so, you know, there are those who are celebrating and peace loving for sure, and that you know, before 1979, there was a Western flavor to the culture there.
- 7:06But uh really truly, how how do you root this radicalized culture out?
- 7:10How do we convince America that that can be done?
- 7:13And do you really think regime change could be possible?
- 7:17Uh, because a lot of people are doubting it right now with with the sun and with the and we don't even know if he's alive yet, or do you know?
- 7:23Have you heard anything about that?
- 7:25Yeah, I have.
- 7:25We've been looking at it very closely at the Stand Up America U.S.
- 7:29Foundation and our uh intel sources.
- 7:33But uh the people are still uh hiding in their homes to a great degree, uh, waiting for the the police that are in every city, every town there was odd.
- 7:45And what uh they're afraid of if they come out, they're gonna get shot because the regime still is in power.
- 7:51I would say they've been probably defeated the regime almost 80 to 90 percent now, but there are those uh then the IRGC and the Army that uh have not been taken out yet.
- 8:03So there's work to do, and I think that'll be very shortly because they can't be sustained anymore.
- 8:09We've shut down their banking system, we've shut down their oil production income.
- 8:14I don't know what they're doing on food and how they're getting food for the populations, but like uh President Trump says, Trump says it's very, very close.
- 8:23And uh shutting down uh Carg Island uh and opening up the Sea of Hormuz is what we're waiting on now, and that's gonna change oil prices probably within the week.
- 8:35They're very, very close.
- 8:36The Navy's working on uh finding any of the mines that may be uh down uh deep in the waters of uh of the of the straits there.
- 8:45But we have the technology to do that, but it takes time to ensure there's no uh mines that are lingering, you know, 10 or 15, 20 feet below the surface of the water that can strike any ships.
- 8:57And also they still have uh maybe 10% of their drones left, which are positioned off the shore there uh in Iran that can be fired at any ships going through the uh through the straits there.
- 9:10So I think that's uh the situation.
- 9:12But we've destroyed uh 90 targets on Carg Island military targets.
- 9:17We intentionally did not hit any of the oil production facilities there.
- 9:22Right, but but Trump has threatened if they continue to bombard uh the straits there and uh that he would uh that would be jeopardized.
- 9:32Do you do you agree with that strategy that he's talking about?
- 9:37Well, the the question is what do you do with the the oil uh facilities there?
- 9:41And we should not touch those.
- 9:43In fact, our foundation recommended to Trump that they get the Saudis uh right across the way there uh to take over and protect uh Carga Island uh with some of their uh infantry and uh special ops forces.
- 9:56Could that happen, General?
- 9:57Would that could that happen?
- 9:59Absolutely.
- 10:00You think the Saudis would do it?
- 10:02Well, I don't know.
- 10:03That's that's a big question where we'll do it.
- 10:06But they should let's involve the UAE.
- 10:08They've been hit by Iran, these uh nations there.
- 10:11And uh they should put some of their forces to secure Carg Island.
- 10:15That would be my recommended recommendation.
- 10:18Let me step back now, General, and ask you something from a from a military standpoint.
- 10:23Looking at everything that has been executed to date right now uh with Trump and uh commander in chief and the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, and of course the uh uh General Raising Cain, who's uh really become very popular.
- 10:38Uh, how do you rate this whole thing?
- 10:40Are you are you elated at uh the the I'm talking from militarily now from the mechanisms of how they've tackled this thing, or do you have any criticisms?
- 10:50No, I don't have any criticisms.
- 10:52They planned it all out, and uh they knew Carg Island uh and the strange would be a um um difficult, and that's of course what's remaining.
- 11:02We've done away with their Air Force, basically Navy's been all defeated.
- 11:07Uh the uh uh command and control headquarters uh have been hit.
- 11:14Uh we've taken out, I don't know how many hundreds of uh the hierarchy of leadership uh within Iran.
- 11:21So uh they're on um uh I think they're on the way to uh being starved out too, in some ways, not only from uh ammunition and other sources, but I'm I'm really I don't know how they're getting any food other than what's produced inside Iran.
- 11:37Yeah, there's got to be a lot of struggle.
- 11:39There's got to be a lot of struggle out there with the Iranian people as well, I would imagine.
- 11:43Yeah, yeah.
- 11:44There has to be has to be.
- 11:45And as you say, people now are not coming out so much because those police and their those divisions are on the streets, uh literally shoot people in the head uh if they know that you're part of any uh uh you know movement here, any part of the movement at all.
- 12:00But uh all right.
- 12:02So moving forward now with what happens here.
- 12:05Uh let's say uh John, let's say this all goes off.
- 12:09Um and uh that uh okay, the regime has been completely defeated.
- 12:14Let's say this does happen, and then the Iranian people start to come out, or something starts to shift in Iran.
- 12:20What happens now?
- 12:21There's been a lot of conversation.
- 12:23Um Trump has held his his cards pretty close to his chest, which he normally does with with things like this as to who would take over.
- 12:32And so we hear much about this uh Rez of Pahlavi, uh, who was the son of the Shah of Iran, the last Shah of Iran, and uh uh 1979, and uh uh he is um been fighting for this as well.
- 12:47And and I understand you you've met him before.
- 12:49Tell us who about him, Pahlavi, what you think about him.
- 12:52Is he uh a potential figurehead for this thing moving forward, or is there someone else, or do you see something else happening here?
- 13:00Uh well, Malcolm, for your information, I helped Reza Pahlavi for the past three decades in my life.
- 13:08Um matter of fact, the Cyrus Force was formed in Florida with Reza Pahlabi sitting around the table.
- 13:17Okay.
- 13:18And inside of Iran, the CIRS force have the crew of over 3,000 of the old retired planner of army, navy and the air force of the Shah regime, which it was the number five army in the world.
- 13:35And right now, all these people they're helping the CIRS force, but on the background, on the hiding, because if anybody find this people, they're gonna shoot them in the head in a heartbeat.
- 13:46Right.
- 13:47Now, number one, I want to thank President Trump and Prime Minister Natinyahu to take the position to do whatever they're doing, and on behalf of 82 to 85 percent of Iranian people, I thanks them for doing what they're doing.
- 14:05Yes, this regime is gonna fall.
- 14:08Matter of fact, the regime is under uh uh fall right now at this time, but these people, they're not uh educated army people, they're not educated, the diplomat people, they're a bunch of lunatic, and they just uh do anything they have to do to survive.
- 14:29And the leader, Moshtabo Khamenei, I believe that he's in coma.
- 14:35You think he's in a coma?
- 14:36I believe so, because he got hit, and uh there was a picture of him that I don't have it with me at this time, that he's uh bundled up with the uh all kind of uh support in the hospital, and also for the past five days, they haven't seen uh him in any place that he's alive.
- 14:58Right, right.
- 14:58Uh I don't know if you see that movie, Weekend of Bernie.
- 15:02You remember that movie?
- 15:03Oh, yes.
- 15:04Oh, yes, yeah.
- 15:04So they're playing the weekend of Bernie here.
- 15:08Weekend of Bernie's week, yeah.
- 15:10Weekend at Tehran's, huh?
- 15:11Um, John, um, what you say there now with him, the coma thing.
- 15:16Let me touch on that a minute here.
- 15:17As I understand it, when they hit that room and others, there uh the families, the wives, the kids, there were a lot of people that were killed.
- 15:25And we uh many people were wondering how he would have survived that, assuming he was there, and it seemed like they were all kind of there.
- 15:33Um so somehow I guess he might have, but your your reports are there's that he is uh pretty bad off, then yeah.
- 15:41He is very bad off, and also talking about the Iranian people, they are uh fighting with their stone and uh stick in their hand against the machine gun, and that's not fair.
- 15:55And at the Cyrus Force, we have a power to go in, boots on the ground.
- 16:00We don't need one American or Israeli soldier.
- 16:04We can plan that, and if President Trump is listening to this show, get in touch with me.
- 16:11I'm John Q Naimi, and he can get in touch with me, and I meet with him 15 minutes and make his life hundred times easier than what it is today.
- 16:22But in the meantime, I tanks American army, Israeli army to do what they're doing, and in the Iranian uh area, they probably have 12 to 14 percent enemies, but they have 82 to 85 percent uh people loving them and they're behind them and they're willing to do anything uh for the American army and Israeli army to get rid of the Ayatollah's regime and take the country in their hand.
- 16:53And also at the Cyrus Force, uh I have the mission statement that is right in my website, Cyrus Force.org.
- 17:02Anybody can go and read our mission statement, and that is to free Iranian people.
- 17:08I'm sorry, first get rid of the Ayatollah regime, then change the constitution, which the constitution of Iran is asking in eighth sections of it for the destruction of America and Israel.
- 17:24So what for the senators and the Congress people in the United States don't understand?
- 17:30Please go and read the constitution of Iran.
- 17:34And I wrote the book and I handed to many of the senators and the congressmen about two years ago.
- 17:41And another issue that we have is the sleeping cell.
- 17:45The sleeping cell, I've been uh talking about it for the past six years.
- 17:50Now, all of a sudden, in the past two days in the radio and TV, they're talking about it.
- 17:55And the sleeping cells are the people like Mr.
- 17:58Khabari, he still three billion dollars bring to Canada.
- 18:02He's one of their sleeping cells.
- 18:04And anytime he wants to kill John Naemi, okay, Mr.
- 18:08This is 100,000, go kill John Naemi.
- 18:10And they do that for the money.
- 18:12So what I asked of the senators that to bring this constitution problem in the Senate and ask for the smart sanction.
- 18:22And what I mean by a smart sanction to uh I'm sure the Treasury department, they have a account of all these people that they're stealing 3 billion, 8 billion, 15 billion.
- 18:37Over 1.6 trillion dollars of the Iranian stolen money is in England, Canada, United States, Australia, and many places all uh in the world.
- 18:49So if the Senate go after them and do their smart sanction and get the uh money of all this Ayatollah oligarch frozen, then they don't have money to pay uh to the sleeping cell, such as happening a few days ago in Virginia and in Michigan.
- 19:07Right.
- 19:08And one other example here, Mr.
- 19:11Khabari stole three billion dollars and bring to Canada.
- 19:15Mr.
- 19:15Trudeau in a sterov he asked Mr.
- 19:17Khabary, where did you steal three billion to bring to my country?
- 19:21He's giving him a medal of honor.
- 19:24Yeah, yeah.
- 19:25All right, I want to talk about the sleeper cells just a moment.
- 19:27What you just bring up here is a very important point, John.
- 19:30And uh, you know, um we knew that there were two two possibilities here, some lone wolf attacks, like we've been seeing, some of these small little incidents, okay, got it.
- 19:41And then this more sophisticated sleeper cell uh that are here that would rise.
- 19:46And we've seen a lot of Iranian nationals and a lot of other types of country nationals from both the Middle East, China, other areas of Europe, uh, came in here from those four years of open borders.
- 19:57Uh so we don't know where all these people are.
- 20:00At.
- 20:01How concerned are you and should Americans be?
- 20:05And again, there's a you know, there's been a lot of talk in the last many days that would the um Iranian uh government there try to unleash some of these.
- 20:17But I I would imagine if they could have done it, they would have done it already.
- 20:20I I would guess, and unless there's something we don't know.
- 20:24Uh I don't know that they have any control anymore uh with anything.
- 20:28So, how concerned are we or uh are you with this potential of sleeper cells here?
- 20:34Uh I am personally very concerned for the past five, six years, and I wrote the book that called the roadmap.
- 20:43And uh the information of the sleeping cell, it is in that book.
- 20:48And right now, we can first of all in New York in California, in London, in Paris, in Germany, all over the world, you can see that these people, hundreds of thousands of them, they come to the street and protecting the Mollas and Oyatollahs and Hamas and Hezbollah, even in United States in Newborn, Michigan in California in New York.
- 21:12Yeah, they are doing that all over the place.
- 21:15And these are the people that I call them a sleeping cell.
- 21:18And they are slowly waking up, and even though their uh supreme leader Ayatollah Khomene is dead, now they're playing uh weekend of Burney and put his son in place to do anything they want.
- 21:32These people, they are not educated, they are not the official of the army, navy, or air force.
- 21:38They just are a loot and lunatic that after Khomene comes in power in 1979, they become a general without even seeing the West Point or any uh uh army school in inside of Iran.
- 21:55So these are a lunatic people, they kill, they kill, they kill, because they don't have no place else to go, and they're fighting to the last drop in their body, uh, and they're killing anybody comes their way.
- 22:08And in the meantime, Israeli government uh is paying for it, uh, the poor Israeli people, Jewish people in Michigan in Virginia in the past two weeks, and you see what's happening in the Senate.
- 22:24Yep, yeah.
- 22:24Well, yeah, you're right, exactly.
- 22:26Yeah, General Paul Vellile, you know, uh John brings up a very, very good point about all of this.
- 22:30You know, uh it's one of the arguments when you see the division, which I do want to talk about, uh, the division in MAGA, and you know what that's all about, uh, General uh uh so this division where a lot of people say we signed up for America first, meaning no foreign conflicts, no foreign intervention, uh, stay out of it, which Trump said he would.
- 22:50Uh, and there is this big division that's happening in our country where people just don't support this kind of a thing.
- 22:56It's really a split situation.
- 22:58There's gonna be very little leeway the president will have to go much further.
- 23:02And if there's ever any uh notion, you know what I'm talking about, General.
- 23:06If there's any notion of boots on the ground, you know that is that is a no, that is a game changer that cannot happen.
- 23:12I assume the president surely knows that, that we don't see him putting boots on the ground there.
- 23:16If he did, that would change the whole uh spectrum of this thing quickly.
- 23:20So, with all of this, with what John says about these potential sleeper cells and this and this, what are you hearing out there?
- 23:27Uh uh concerns at all that you have that uh something might happen, or do you think things are out uh in control with the CIA FBI and that uh uh that they have a handle on any of this?
- 23:38Well, I think uh in the past we've looked at these sleeper cells as groups of people that had pre-positioned arms in different parts of the United States.
- 23:47I think that's a fallacy now.
- 23:49I think it's uh you do uh yeah, I see uh these loan uh uh people doing it uh that may be paid or incentivized, but uh uh there's basically no leadership or able to push any money any further uh into any of these cells in the United States.
- 24:08So I think uh uh that image of groups uh attacking uh different cities and that I don't I think you know you might be right, General.
- 24:17You really might be right with what you say because uh I think something would have happened already if I do too.
- 24:22Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:24Okay, all right.
- 24:24Absolutely, yeah.
- 24:25It's too late now for them to do anything.
- 24:27You bring up a good point.
- 24:28I hadn't considered what you're saying, but I think it's a damn good point for people to hear.
- 24:32So maybe we luck out in that particular case.
- 24:35I don't know.
- 24:35But as you know, General, that's not going to stop the lone wolves.
- 24:38Those are always gonna be because people get radicalized on online, they do other things.
- 24:43I mean, screwballs are everywhere.
- 24:44I mean, that's that's just gonna happen, isn't it?
- 24:46You know, that's that's right.
- 24:47Yeah.
- 24:48Now uh, so you know, you know what's interesting, General.
- 24:53I want to talk to you on too.
- 24:54We talk about this division within MAGA, and I and I want to ask you a little more about that.
- 24:58How how will this play within the MAGA base?
- 25:00Because you see, John brings up an interesting point.
- 25:03You he spoke about Dearborn, he spoke about California, he spoke about New York City, these areas that are becoming well, for a better word, quasi-radicalized here in our country.
- 25:12You can see the move of this radicalized Islam where it's happening here, as John was saying, all around the world in these key areas.
- 25:20You know, there's not enough focus put on that.
- 25:23You look at the the people we have in Congress that fall under that category as well.
- 25:27So to a point there are breadcrumbs already here in our country, but I see it seems to me, uh, General, a lot of Americans are ignorant of that or don't really understand the danger of it, or just think that America is too big and powerful that it doesn't matter.
- 25:40What do you say to that, please?
- 25:42Well, if you go back to your statement about MAGA, MAGA is not split.
- 25:47That's a fabric of uh somebody's imagination.
- 25:50Okay.
- 26:01But I think it's a very small percentage.
- 26:03MAG is supporting president uh to the nth degree as far as as I can discern.
- 26:08Um so uh this thing that's uh put out by some of these uh people on television has uh there it's it's what I call created chaos in their minds.
- 26:20Uh and they they love to quote the American people, well, MAGA is against uh a lot of MAGAs against Trump.
- 26:27That's not true, that's all made up.
- 26:29So we have to start dealing with reality and what the truth is out there.
- 26:33And uh at this point in time, uh we we take on the Western hemisphere to clean it out, and that's what we're doing.
- 26:41We just wrote an article, for example, on Cuba that we should maybe look at it uh as we do uh Puerto Rico, some kind of a uh territory.
- 26:53Right.
- 26:54That's what we've recommended to Trump on Cuba, but so many things going on.
- 26:58But uh we have sent a message uh to the world, we're not gonna tolerate evil.
- 27:03No other country is taking on the evil of the world.
- 27:06Yeah, yeah.
- 27:07No other country.
- 27:09Yeah.
- 27:09And uh that's what Trump is destined to do.
- 27:11We got to get rid of these evil regimes, and they're just disturbing everything.
- 27:16Well, and which hold on a good point, General, because uh here's the here's the antidote to many others who might think that is like how do you have an America first, or how do you have a base that can do that if you've got people that are trying to kill you or come after you or try to destroy the country?
- 27:32I guess that is a uh that that is a point of view, isn't it?
- 27:36Yeah, and and uh MAGA people are supporting uh uh Trump and uh trying to uh return America to greatness again.
- 27:44That's what MAGA's not a military organization.
- 27:47Yeah, may have military uh supporters, but uh it's strictly a political organization that tries to bring uh reality back to the United States and support the Trump across the board.
- 27:59Yeah, I would say to you, uh I like what you just say here, but let me add to it, General.
- 28:03I would say to you as well that MAGA is definitely a political uh movement within, but it but it is a political movement that has swallowed the Republican Party whole, make America great again, has become the core central power force in the Republican Party.
- 28:18Uh General, just as the radical left, the crazy ones have became the central power physical force in the Democrat Party.
- 28:25You understand both parties have changed, right?
- 28:27Oh, absolutely.
- 28:29Yeah, yeah, that's what's happened here.
- 28:30And so that there's your MAGA right there.
- 28:33And it has taken the the grand old poo-bah, the grand old party has been snuffed out a bit, just as the uh uh the the Democrats have.
- 28:41Um it's all yeah, it has all changed here.
- 28:45So you bring us some interesting points about MAGA and all of that.
- 28:47Very, very fascinating.
- 28:48Uh John, in our last few moments here, um, so uh the next few steps, give give Americans some idea right now, one, two, three, four.
- 28:58Uh, and I mean, this has got to be a very big moment for you, Cyrus Force and and all of your relations with this movement you've really dedicated your life to.
- 29:08And I know you've spoken to a lot of the congressmen and senators.
- 29:11I've seen all the photos, I've seen what you've been doing.
- 29:13And so you you speak true.
- 29:15I mean, everything you say is accurate.
- 29:17So it put this all in a nutshell for us.
- 29:20Uh, where we are right now, you've got to be thrilled with where things are at.
- 29:24You wouldn't have, I mean, come on, you wouldn't have imagined this a year or two ago that this was going to be the moment that he would have tore Iran right apart, right at the seams.
- 29:32And uh, so maybe it is a new day for these people.
- 29:36Uh well, at this time, we are in the best position with what American army and Israeli army doing inside of Iran.
- 29:45And the next thing is we have to help the Iranian people to win this battle and take their country to their own hand.
- 29:54And Cyrez forces dealing and with a lot of individuals inside of Iran.
- 30:00To do that.
- 30:01I have one message for my beautiful American friends.

- 36:14And we're going to continue right now.
- 36:15The economy is front and center for a lot of people.
- 36:18Obviously, it it radiates from what's happening in the Middle East, of course.
- 36:22It's a part of that.
- 36:24Energy is always a part of the story.
- 36:26But it goes further than that, actually, with other things that are happening.
- 36:30And uh, so you know the question really becomes uh can the country uh uh sail through these rough seas that are in front of us, and there are some other signs, there are some other troubles that people are not really talking about, but I want to talk a little bit about that next year.
- 36:46Uh, Christian Briggs joins us on the broadcast here, and Christian is an economic strategist.
- 36:52He's the founder and CEO of hard asset management and BMC Capital.
- 36:57Uh Kristen, uh always love to have him on the broadcast.

- 37:20Eastern time every Wednesday.
- 37:22Of course, the show goes to podcast on Thursdays and uh always the day after on any of the program in here.
- 37:28It's called On the Record with Christian Briggs.
- 37:30Uh Christian, privileged to have you here.
- 37:32Thank you, brother, for joining us on the broadcast.
- 37:35Well, thank you so much for having me, Malcolm.
- 37:37It's always been an honor and a pleasure.
- 37:38And today's discussion points are going to be very interesting.
- 37:41Yeah, let's start here.
- 37:42Uh where I'd like to start.
- 37:44I want to read you three headlines here, okay?
- 37:46Three headlines.
- 37:47I want to start with the economy at with USI like to do, uh, Christian at 30,000 feet.
- 37:52Uh so after I give the three headlines, uh, give me your headline of the day, maybe.
- 37:57Let's see how quick follow that headline.
- 37:59You're ready for that.
- 38:00Absolutely.
- 38:01So here's three.
- 38:03NBC News says U.S.
- 38:05economy expanded at sluggish 0.7% in the fourth quarter.
- 38:11Government says downgrade in first estimate.
- 38:14That was the headline from NBC News.
- 38:17Financial Times says U.S.
- 38:20economy ended 2025 on weaker footing than previously thought.
- 38:25Okay.
- 38:26And the third one from the Washington Post.
- 38:30Economy was shakier than it appeared, headed into the Iran conflict.
- 38:35Okay.
- 38:36So there's three headlines.
- 38:37If you were to create a headline right now, go to the back room and come out and said, here's my headline for the day to the American people.
- 38:42What would it be, brother?
- 38:44I guess I have two.
- 38:46I'll two.
- 38:46First headline would be they're not wrong.
- 38:49Second headline would be with the exception of the Iranian attack.
- 38:56I think the tariffs were the ones that weaken the economy the fastest.
- 39:01So my my combining those two would be very clearly.
- 39:04We are we're on a weak approach, a weakening of approach to what was supposed to be the strongest economy in 50 years when Trump was on his uh campaign trail.
- 39:15Wow, wow.
- 39:17So you're saying, hold on here.
- 39:19Now you're saying uh correct me on the tariff thing you just talked about.
- 39:22You're saying the tariffs did more damage than we think.
- 39:27In the underlying in the underlying bottom half of America, it did more damage than what was first calculated in an economic impact study.
- 39:35And the reasoning is is because the aggressive nature of the percentages and the undefined messaging and direction that they were going scared people from number one, and number two, the middle class and the lower middle class, which took the brunt of the costs, and their inflation, Malcolm.
- 39:55End of the day, tariffs are inflation.
- 39:56Supreme Court said they're taxes, but whatever you want to call them.
- 39:59It was a great.
- 40:00Aggressive approach that might have been a little bit too aggressive in order to negotiate trade deals.
- 40:04Kristen, do you think let me ask you something?
- 40:08A serious question.
- 40:10There was so much wrong and so much happening in our country prior to Trump coming into office.
- 40:16That four years was uh what was a difficult period of time for the country, big time.
- 40:21So was I mean keeping everything fear?
- 40:24Was Trump it was is he trying to do too much too soon?
- 40:27Is that the problem here with all the dangers with all the issues we had?
- 40:31Uh a lot of pain.
- 40:33Was he trying to do too much too soon?
- 40:36That's a great question.
- 40:37And you actually framed it really well.
- 40:39He tried to do a lot in the shortest period of time that was a that was allowable that you possibly could screw it's no different than trying when you have kids, and you got to get three kids to three different football games or soccer games or baseball games, all these different things, and you're running so fast, but you got to do it.
- 40:57He got handed a bag of rocks, Malcolm.
- 40:59The economy wasn't anywhere near what people thought.
- 41:02The underlying bottom current of the economy was actually recession.
- 41:05And the second top half of the economy was going well.
- 41:09But what's happening was it was all based on deficit spending and bad trade deals and deficit uh and and the trading themselves was really bad.
- 41:16So yeah, he did a lot as much as he thought he could in order to make sure that he made every appointment to make sure that everybody got to where they needed to go.
- 41:26The only problem was some of the people advising him did not look at the long-term cost, but rather a short-term fix.
- 41:36Okay.
- 41:36Say that one more time, please.
- 41:39That last part, that last part.
- 41:41The last part, the it was it was like this.
- 41:44It's like you're trying to create value.
- 41:47You're trying to create something of which that you can rest upon a foundation of economic steadiness, economic growth.
- 41:55He did a lot too quick.
- 41:58Too quick, and then it it sacrificed a lot of the economy is what it did.
- 42:01The bottom half of America.
- 42:02Yeah, I wanted the quick and the slow and the fast.
- 42:06I wanted people to connect with your thoughts there because I think you nailed it.
- 42:10Uh, really understand then what the problem is.
- 42:13Yeah, it's my sense.
- 42:14Krista, here's the problem as we move forward, probably.
- 42:17All right, so as I always say to listeners, Kristen, uh, Americans have short memories.
- 42:23We really truly have short memories.
- 42:25There are reasons that's a good and a bad thing.
- 42:28It's bad in the case like it might hurt us now.
- 42:31It's good in the sense that we're resilient people and we move forward quickly to fix what needs to be fixed.
- 42:36That's a beautiful thing, and that defines American.
- 42:39Uh, but the problem is if you look back at that pain just before Trump got in, you remember when Kamala Harris was that election was happening, Kristen, right?
- 42:47And people were really scared.
- 42:49If she, if she ever had got close to this thing, they felt like we would have lost everything.
- 42:54But the point is the economy was so bad, and we were hurting the inflation was horrible, it was upwards of 20%.
- 43:01Nobody was admitting the truth.
- 43:02Uh the open borders, everything that happened in our country, the economic conditions, nothing was favorable for success.
- 43:08He comes in, everything's broken.
- 43:10He starts to try to fix things.
- 43:12The problem now is will Americans remember that pain.
- 43:15And I and I question that they will, because there's been some success metrics since that point.
- 43:22So, how do we thread that needle right now?
- 43:24It's not going to be easy, is it, buddy?
- 43:26Oh, no, no.
- 43:27Listen, you you talk about threading a needle about called the word affordability.
- 43:32Because the mind will allow yourself to kind of forget some of the bad things so that way you can move on in life.
- 43:37That's just how the brain works.
- 43:39Exactly.
- 43:40But there's one thing that they're not going to forget, and that's 18 to 36-year-olds.
- 43:4453% of them live with their parents.
- 43:4890% of them have said recently they can't ever think about home ownership.
- 43:52They never even think like that anymore.
- 43:54They will never own a home in their minds.
- 43:56They're never going to own a house.
- 43:58So that's going to resonate far beyond any kind of tariff or any kind of Iranian conflict, oil, this, gas, that.
- 44:07Those kids don't care about that stuff.
- 44:08What they care about is not how it's got to this point.
- 44:12They care about the point.
- 44:13And the point is, I can't afford a car, health insurance, home insurance, a home.
- 44:19I can't afford school.
- 44:21That's what they know.
- 44:22That's what they're going to resonate on.
- 44:24And that is short and long-term memory embedded in their heads.
- 44:28Kristen, you're so right with what you say there, man.
- 44:30So right.
- 44:31And I think people can, I'm sure everybody can grasp what he's sharing.
- 44:34Kristen, how you that's a very complicated situation.
- 44:38That there's no easy fix for what you say there, is there, brother?
- 44:42No, there's no easy fix.
- 44:43You're gonna have to succumb to two things.
- 44:45And I hate to say this, but in order for all right, here we go.
- 44:48I'm glad you asked.
- 44:50In order to fix the lower demographics, see, the kids don't realize that tariffs did hurt them because it hurt some of their middle class parents.
- 44:59But they don't realize, and they will here soon is the oil and gas industry did hurt them because it hurt their parents, and then it hurt them directly on the gas cost.
- 45:07Look at a gallon of gas.
- 45:08It's up a dollar a gallon in the past two weeks.
- 45:10Okay, that's like 30%.
- 45:12But to fix it, and I'm gonna say this, it's gonna sound socialist, but there's no way around it.
- 45:18It's one way.
- 45:19It's one way.
- 45:21You're gonna have to have private enterprise come together with federal government, state, and local governments, and to offer two things, and private enterprise will actually pay for this, but the government can lead the process.
- 45:34You're gonna have to find free college and free tuition for universities and trade schools really quick, and you better find a reduction in health care costs.
- 45:43You may have to go into, I wouldn't call it a national or a socialist plan, like like England, but you better get those health care costs down to a point where it's affordable and you better get tuition in university because that's the first step they take that then their minds they need to afford a house.
- 45:59You can't bring housing down.
- 46:01You have to bring the educational value of the young people up.
- 46:04Why you do that?
- 46:05Because it increases their wage opportunity.
- 46:08You have to have them make more money.
- 46:10You're not gonna bring interest rates down, you're not gonna bring housing down.
- 46:14You have to increase the young people's ability to make more money, and then the word affordability goes away.
- 46:21And what do they have?
- 46:22The next two words are thank you.
- 46:25Well, you know, adding to what you say there, the affordability word.
- 46:29When that started to come out in the circles, and we started hearing it, I almost gagged on the whole concept here.
- 46:35Brilliant though.
- 46:36I mean, so the these bastards get into office and they make everything unaffordable.
- 46:41They send nation to the skies, you know, everything is unaffordable.
- 46:45And then Trump comes in and and which is I had others.
- 46:48I Harry Dent was telling me that the economist every dentist said, you know, Trump's going to get blamed for a lot of this stuff.
- 46:53He didn't do a lot of that stuff up front, he said, but he's going to get blamed for whoever the president is, he said in this next administration will get blamed for a lot of the chaos and recklessness of the previous one.
- 47:03It's an interesting statement, isn't it?
- 47:06It is interesting because it has value.
- 47:08It comes from a it comes from a uh basically the way people think.
- 47:13It's remember, there's a there's a game we play as kids, and you don't want to be the last person standing without a chair to sit on.
- 47:20Okay.
- 47:20And the problem is that Trump now is the conductor of the band, and the band is playing music that the kids just don't like, as we say from where I used to come, the guy ain't the guy right now, and he ain't walking the walk, and he certainly isn't talking the talk that he did on the on the campaign trail.
- 47:37And that's what people remember.
- 47:38And the reason I bring up the 18 to 36-year-old demographic, Malcolm is so important, and I'll tell you why.
- 47:44Because they're more educated when it comes to social, fiscal, and all-around politics.
- 47:49Why?
- 47:49Because they got AI at their fingertips.
- 47:51They can count, they can figure out the BS, they can figure out the nonsense, and then they can discern that information and to something cohesive, understanding.
- 48:01And though they know that Trump didn't cause the issues, but it doesn't matter.
- 48:04He's got the hot potato in his hand, and the guy that's got the hot potato, that's the guy that's got the hand in the cookie jar, too.
- 48:10And that's their cookies.
- 48:12You're eating their livelihood, their way of life is not where it was 30 years ago.
- 48:17And the problem is he's the one that's in the White House.
- 48:21So it's easy to blame.
- 48:22No, you're what you say is accurate.
- 48:24I don't disagree with it at all.
- 48:25Uh, whoever is in power is going to get blamed.
- 48:28There's no doubt about it, uh, even for things they didn't have part in.
- 48:31But again, a lot of these strategies trying to do uh too much too soon, but there was a lot of damage and a lot of carnage, Kristen.
- 48:38And I think there's a price to pay for that because I think the country was in great uh grave danger uh coming through that period of time.
- 48:45Um just the open borders alone would be a game ender.
- 48:48And you spoke about that a lot on here.
- 48:50So you know exactly what we're talking about here.
- 48:52Uh now we got the elections coming in here.
- 48:54Uh the uh the the midterm is key.
- 48:57You did a great program this past week with a gentleman uh that you called, and this is available at a right at the website at America Outloud.news, oil shock Iran war and the 2026 election bombshell.
- 49:10And you say the the host warned that sky high fuel costs and affordability pressure could devastate Republicans in the 2026 midterms.
- 49:18Uh, Trump rolls the die.
- 49:20He rolled the die here uh to put him out there, Kristen, and see uh their opportunity presents itself with Iran.
- 49:27And he went ahead, and we know that's a that's a once in a generation move what took place there.
- 49:32He took a gamble.
- 49:33There's no doubt.
- 49:34A lot of presidents would not have taken that gamble, and nor have they in past decades for the last 47 years.
- 49:41Do you applaud the fact that he took that gamble, or do you think it was a reckless move?
- 49:47Ooh.
- 49:48So you have two scenarios here that need to be addressed to determine the answer to your question.
- 49:55Would you be willing to have either one?
- 49:58You can you only pick one, Malcolm?
- 49:59So
- 50:00I'm going to leave it to you to determine the answer that's best suited for you, and probably the American public will join in on this.
- 50:07Do you want a hundred and twenty dollar oil?
- 50:10Or do you want 13 nuclear missiles in the hands of Iran?
- 50:15It's your call.
- 50:16You got one or the other, but you can't have both.
- 50:18Yeah, yeah.
- 50:19You can't get rid of the, you know what I'm saying?
- 50:20We can't get rid of the nukes, but you got to have the oil.
- 50:22You gotta get rid of the oil, then they get the nukes.
- 50:24Which one do you want, Malcolm?
- 50:25Kristen brilliant.
- 50:26That is brilliant, brilliant, brilliant the way you frame it.
- 50:29For me, I'll take the 120 gallon get uh oil, no question.
- 50:32Well, then my brother, that's what you just got tomorrow morning, tomorrow next day, the next week, the next month.
- 50:37That's what you got.
- 50:38Yeah, yeah.
- 50:38That's what you got.
- 50:39Well, there's there's a price to pay for that peace and security.
- 50:42You understand that there's to pay for that.
- 50:44Yeah, yeah.
- 50:46The way you frame it's very, very fascinating.
- 50:48But listen, listen.
- 50:49Uh, Trump had already done a lot of things with energy.
- 50:52Can't some of these things, and uh I I don't think he's gonna let it go too long that way.
- 50:56My sense is he's gonna turn this wicket pretty quick here.
- 51:00And he knows the danger it's gonna do in the midterm.
- 51:02So I'm gonna suggest back to you that if we have the same conversation 30 days from now and 60 days from now, I think it's a different conversation on the cost of energy.
- 51:11What do you say to that, sir?
- 51:12Oh, yeah, energy will be way down after.
- 51:15Oh, yeah.
- 51:1560 days from now, we're gonna get back to about 75, 80 oil.
- 51:19Oil's gonna have some type of a fear factor anxiety pricing into it.
- 51:23It won't maybe get down to that 60 range, 65.
- 51:25And I don't think the administration even wants 60.
- 51:27I I know that at 70 to 75 to even 80, which sounds a little high, but let me tell you something, Malcolm.
- 51:34For every dollar of oil, okay, for every dollar that barrel gets over 70 to 75 in that 80, 85 range.
- 51:42You're gonna add a million six-figure jobs.
- 51:45Did you know that?
- 51:46No, no.
- 51:46Wow.
- 51:47You want to know how you do that?
- 51:48In fact, it could be two billion jobs if it stays at around 80.
- 51:51Let me let me tell you why.
- 51:53This is actually a good thing if we get it down to that 7580 level.
- 51:58Here's how it works.
- 51:59And you're gonna see an increase in jobs here in about two to three months if oil stays above that 75.
- 52:05Number one, they're increasing the drilling.
- 52:07When it's 75 to 80, the drillers all over the United States and offshore, automatically get a massive new pay raise.
- 52:14Get think about it, it's a pay raise.
- 52:16It doesn't cost you one penny more to increase that that efficiency or increase the amount of oil.
- 52:22But boy, look at the payday you get verse 60.
- 52:24Now it's at 80, 85.
- 52:26So you're gonna need more people to manage those current wells.
- 52:30They're gonna go in and refract wells, and they're gonna drill new wells.
- 52:34That's a couple hundred thousand people.
- 52:35Second thing, more oil flowing.
- 52:38What do you need to get the oil out of there?
- 52:40Trucks.
- 52:41You're gonna have more trucks bought, more trucks lease, more guys driving.
- 52:44Yeah, and the third thing is guess what else?
- 52:47The operators, it's called the downstream.
- 52:49There's the upstream and the downstream.
- 52:51So the upstream, which is all of your petroleum products that are made.
- 52:55Guess what?
- 52:56Guess of all that more profit.
- 52:58All right, all of that.
- 52:59So there's gonna be actually an increase in jobs.
- 53:01All right.
- 53:02So this is what we're talking about, really right now is very good news, actually, Kristen.
- 53:06Really good news.
- 53:07And if that back to that magic spot, I think you're spot right over target here.
- 53:12I think around that 75 range would be probably really good.
- 53:15And it would create a lot of the economic force you're talking about, which is awesome, but it also keeps the energy where it's effectable and uh you know it's affordable again to use their dirty word, uh, where you can get around.
- 53:27So, with all that said, Kristen, uh, so 60 days from now, we're gonna be in a different position there now.
- 53:33The the time to turn this whole thing economically between now and the midterms, because that's going to come on pretty heavy here.
- 53:40Uh, as we're in the mark mid-March here right now.
- 53:43Uh, there's still time to turn this train, isn't there?
- 53:46There's time to turn the hearts and minds of people, but you have to turn the economy.
- 53:52So the number one thing I would always say is don't look at the polls.
- 53:56If I was talking to the president, and I've I obviously I've had talks with him in the in the past, not as long as I would love, but I would like to say this to him and his administration.
- 54:05I would always say is focus on the messaging and the economy.
- 54:09Politics will follow.
- 54:11Uh you're right.
- 54:12You're right.
- 54:12Okay.
- 54:13Think about this that though.
- 54:14He knows it.
- 54:14He knows he knows that, but the people around him need to know that.
- 54:18True, true, true.
- 54:19But I think you're going to see him now.
- 54:20Remember now, he's going to be out on the campaign trail aggressively.
- 54:23And this is going to be like he's on the ballot.
- 54:26I'm I'm certain of it.
- 54:27And that's going to turn.
- 54:28And I think you know, you know, he's an economic guy, uh, Kristen.
- 54:31He's not going to tolerate anything less.
- 54:33He's going to be touting that horn.
- 54:34Uh, and he's going to, I think you're going to see some interesting things.
- 54:38He, I think he understands, you correct me, of the the the uh the uh the cost of this election right now.
- 54:45If they take any, if they take the house back, he know they know he knows they're gonna cut his administration in half from four years to two years immediately, correct?
- 54:54Right?
- 54:54Correct, 100%.
- 54:55If they if they in fact, I'll go a step further.
- 54:58He will be impeached for sure if they take the house back.
- 55:01And I am anticipating the house to fall to Hakeem Jeffries, who will become speaker, uh, and they're gonna use the tariffs as the means of which to impeach him is that they were unconstitutional and they were unfair burden, all these kind of different derivatives are gonna try to make out of that.
- 55:15That'll be the battle cry.
- 55:16If we lose the Senate, which if this if this Iranian issue continues for more than 60 days and you see elevated oil at 100 or more a barrel, you can kiss that Senate goodbye to the Democrats because out of just pure spite, there are certain moderate Republicans that are on the Trump train two years ago, six months ago, they're not there right now.
- 55:37And if those prices stay elevated, you will see three to four U.S.
- 55:42senators uh seats, Republicans, that is, flip to Democrats, and that will be the balance of power.
- 55:47Then he will be convicted in the Senate.
- 55:49That I can tell you right now.
- 55:51Okay.
- 55:51I I'm gonna suggest back to you.
- 55:53I everything you said, I don't argue back with it, but I will say that I don't think that's gonna be the outcome, however.
- 55:58I I agree with you 100%.
- 56:00I'm gonna give you the scenarios if but the reality is we're gonna keep at least by one measure uh seat, which would be JD Bance's, you know, tiebreaker.
- 56:08Yeah, yeah.
- 56:09We'll keep that, but there is a lot of discord among the young people right now.
- 56:13And remember, they're they vote twice in the numbers that any other demographic does.
- 56:17All right.
- 56:17All right.
- 56:18Well, again, they're gonna have to turn this thing quickly.
- 56:20We're gonna have to turn it quickly.
- 56:22And the economy, as you say, Kristen, has got to come back strong.
- 56:25If it does, I would suggest to you they can not only keep the Senate, but I do think there is a good chance they could keep the house if he plays it that way and throws everything into the economy, gets out there and works his ass off on the campaign trail, and the team around him starts to make some sense.
- 56:40Uh with the within the economy, I think there could be a whole different outcome.
- 56:44What do you say to that?
- 56:46100%.
- 56:47I'm I'm using I'm I'm actually trying to use your show.
- 56:49And and because I know a lot of the people in the White House administration listen to your show, and I'm trying to give them the playbook.
- 56:55Say, look, if you don't do this, like if you jump off a 50-story building without a parachute, I don't think you're gonna bounce.
- 57:00Yep, yep, yeah.
- 57:01Yeah, no, you're spot on.
- 57:02No, no, we agree.
- 57:03We agree on all fronts here.
- 57:05Uh I'm glad the Americans could hear what you just said here.
- 57:08Uh, Kristen, you you're you're just brilliant at this stuff, yeah.
- 57:11I gotta tell you, man.
- 57:12It is always so cool to talk to you, buddy.
- 57:14Um, I love having you on here.

- 57:25All right.
