GIANTS POSTCAST: Carson Whisenhunt ESCAPES EARLY JAM, Leads Giants to Win
The San Francisco Giants showed some resilience tonight as they battled through a rough start to win 4-1 over the Houston Astros tonight at Oracle Park. Carson Whisenhunt had not pitched well in his last two starts, but tonight he bounced back from a bases-loaded jam in the 2nd inning and escaped, surrendering only one run over 5.2 innings. Bryce Eldridge hit another bomb, Drew Gilbert added another RBI, and the San Francisco Giants capitalized on several mistakes by the Houston Astros to generate some runs. All in all, a good night for the San Francisco Giants on the field.
