SPEAKER_00: Those of you who know me from coaching or broadcasting have heard me use the term chuck-em game.

• 1:32
SPEAKER_00: This game is not simply a winner-lose game.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_00: It's about bragging rights, not just for the season, but for life.

• 3:58
SPEAKER_00: Caden, he impacts the game on both sides of the ball.
• 4:02
SPEAKER_00: Jake Stica, as I mentioned, came through with a clutch game-winning touchdown catch.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: And again, Caleb Kittle was a two-point, had the two-point conversion who sealed the victory.
• 4:13
SPEAKER_00: Gavin Brady is also a big play receiver who often draws double coverage and frees up the other receivers for Vestel, and he's also a solid defensive back.
• 4:23
SPEAKER_00: Vestel has shown it can finish close games.
• 4:26

SPEAKER_00: UE has demonstrated its scoring potential, putting up 45 points against Binghamton.
• 6:39
SPEAKER_00: The challenge is sustaining that production and executing for four quarters.
• 6:44
SPEAKER_00: Here are a few Unionicot student athletes to keep an eye on.
• 6:49
SPEAKER_00: Anthony Fiorelli scored Unionicot's only touchdown against Maine Edwell with a run right up the middle.
• 6:55
SPEAKER_00: Khalil Singleton recovered a high punt snap at the two-yard line, setting up the Tigers touchdown.
• 7:02
SPEAKER_00: Aid Matthews, their quarterback, is a very talented student athlete who will be important to UE's offensive execution.
• 7:10
SPEAKER_00: And Raimi Carney, an outstanding receiver with huge catch radius who could create matchup problems for the vessel secondary.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_00: And Robert Mabry, he's a running back, and he's met missed time due to injury.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_00: But if he plays in this game, he will make a difference.
• 7:35
SPEAKER_00: Now for my showdown breakdown, and it's what I believe will determine the outcome of this game.
• 7:42
SPEAKER_00: Can Vestal make it two in a row on the road?
• 7:46
SPEAKER_00: And will UE bounce back from last week's tough loss to Maine Enwell?
• 7:51
SPEAKER_00: One key student athlete's participation in this game is questionable, and that is UE's Robert Mabry.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_00: UE is a different team if Maybrie can play.
• 8:01
SPEAKER_00: In rivalry games, emotions run high, especially early in the contest.
• 8:07
SPEAKER_00: The team who controls their emotions, avoids penalties, wins the line of scrimmage, and protects the football will have an advantage.
• 8:16
SPEAKER_00: I realize that sentence is full of cliches, but they are the fundamental evergreen aspects of winning football games.
• 8:26
SPEAKER_00: Game situations are critical, such as third-down conversions and red and green zone execution and the kick and kick return teams.
• 8:36
SPEAKER_00: In a game between two evenly matched teams, one turnover or one mental or physical mistake could make the difference.
• 8:45
SPEAKER_00: I recall when I was on Coach Dave Williams' staff at Vestel, we played this game at Vestel.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_00: The Bears won 7-6 on a block extra point by Steve Campbell.
• 8:58
SPEAKER_00: That is how close and memorable this rivalry can be.
• 9:03
SPEAKER_00: Last week in Vestel's come from behind 17-14 victory at Corning Painted Post.
• 9:09
SPEAKER_00: Jake Stica came through with a clutch game-winning touchdown catch.
• 9:13
SPEAKER_00: And earlier in that game, Preston Ansisberger connected on a 30-yard field goal, which was ultimately the point differential.
• 9:22
SPEAKER_00: Another reminder how important the kick and kick return teams are.
• 9:28
SPEAKER_00: So there you have it.
