After a surprise cancellation last week due to safety concerns over unhoused individuals using the band shell, the Burlington Concert Band is back at Battery Park this Sunday — and they’re bringing extra security to make sure the show goes on. With private guards from Chocolate Thunder and city staff on hand, the city’s parks department is clearing the area to protect both performers and audience.
