- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camera
- 0:06Speaker 1: che Edge.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi guys, we are back with another episode of Two
- 0:17Speaker 2: Teas in a Pod. I'm curious, let's do a poll.
- 0:20Speaker 2: What's more interesting us talking about our box, things that
- 0:26Speaker 2: go on our microphones? Or this episode of Real Housewives
- 0:30Speaker 2: of New York.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I liked this episode. I actually want to mind it. Yeah,
- 0:38Speaker 3: it's actually one of my favorites. But before we get
- 0:42Speaker 3: into that, we have Yeah. I just hope when we
- 0:44Speaker 3: remind everybody to get out there and vote, I hear
- 0:46Speaker 3: everybody prize everybody all because I put I voted, and
- 0:50Speaker 3: I think it was maybe the song I chose? What song?
- 0:53Speaker 3: Did you choose? Freedom? By Beyonce? And everybody is, oh
- 0:58Speaker 3: my god, she's voting for not all wrong.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's yeah, Tam, do me a favor. Do
- 1:07Speaker 2: as many things as you can to get some.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I know how you operate.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Thank you, Tam, But don't you worry. Bethany Frankel has
- 1:19Speaker 2: broken her silence on unwatchable Real Housewives.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Of New York REABA. But here here's the twister. She
- 1:26Speaker 3: hasn't even watched it. What she hasn't watched.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It Bethany said that longtime fans of Bravo franchise had
- 1:34Speaker 2: told her that the reboot was unwatchable.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I haven't seen it, and I don't know the women.
- 1:40Speaker 3: They seem lovely. I know they seem lovely. If she
- 1:43Speaker 3: doesn't know what she hasn't seen the show, Yeah, it's
- 1:46Speaker 3: like I'm very confused, Bethany.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I'm not blaming them at all, she said in a
- 1:51Speaker 2: TikTok video. But there must be an art to the disaster,
- 1:55Speaker 2: because we were a hot ass mess. I've seen Ramona's
- 1:58Speaker 2: shit on the floor, son shit the bed, and wear diaper,
- 2:02Speaker 2: Luan fall into the bushes. Oh my god, the powers
- 2:05Speaker 2: that need must be really right.
- 2:07Speaker 3: What is this? Word's too big for me, Bethany? Do
- 2:10Speaker 3: you mind using smaller words?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Writhing in pain that we really were the golden era
- 2:15Speaker 2: of the Housewives. Since the reboot, ratings have continued to
- 2:18Speaker 2: decline for the series, with the season fifteen premiere marking an.
- 2:22Speaker 3: All time low for the franchise. Well, I'm not gonna
- 2:26Speaker 3: I'm not gonna deny that it was when she was on,
- 2:29Speaker 3: it was the golden era of Housewives. I do agree
- 2:33Speaker 3: with that. Yeah, I don't know this is a this
- 2:36Speaker 3: is a show franchise. It's been on eighteen years. I
- 2:40Speaker 3: mean overall, I mean Orange County being the first. Oh
- 2:43Speaker 3: good thing you added that plug in. Well, I mean
- 2:47Speaker 3: because New York hasn't been on eighteen years. But I'm saying,
- 2:50Speaker 3: like the franchise has been on for eighteen years, it's
- 2:53Speaker 3: going to dip down and it's going to die out.
- 2:56Speaker 3: And I think she's basically saying another TikTok that it's
- 3:00Speaker 3: jumped the shark. So Housewives in general has jumped the shark.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Do I think that it's as popular as it once was,
- 3:09Speaker 3: but I mean it is. Yeah, cable TV is different
- 3:14Speaker 3: now people. I have cable TV in my house.
- 3:17Speaker 2: The only time cable TV is on is if my
- 3:21Speaker 2: son is watching football.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Like I can't even watch football.
- 3:26Speaker 2: So I mean, Rihanna is still following Wives, So I mean,
- 3:31Speaker 2: I guess it's good. It's if Rihanna is the judgment
- 3:35Speaker 2: of If Housewives is still flourishing, then we're good.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Well, you know, Bravo is the only cable network that
- 3:41Speaker 3: has their own convention, Bravo Con. True, how other cable
- 3:45Speaker 3: network has that?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Well, what other podcast has? Twats con? And this is
- 3:49Speaker 2: a reminder. You can stream it here. You just go
- 3:53Speaker 2: over to beeps dot com uh slash to t's in
- 3:56Speaker 2: a pod and you can watch it.
- 3:59Speaker 3: So make sure you you get on in on that. Yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 3: A lot of people have been sending me messages that
- 4:03Speaker 3: they watched it, and I thought it was great. I know,
- 4:06Speaker 3: golf collapse for us so bad. Do you want to
- 4:11Speaker 3: read Brind's statements or should I you can? It's so small,
- 4:15Speaker 3: so small, I don't.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Even know if you can read it, Okay, Brenn posted.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I sat and shocked this week as off camera interactions
- 4:25Speaker 2: in the Hamptons were conveyed without context. To see my
- 4:28Speaker 2: intentions twisted and my words misrepresented flat out scares me.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I am deeply sorry if I overstepped that night in
- 4:35Speaker 2: the Hamptons. I'm beyond sorry as this was never my intention.
- 4:39Speaker 2: The episode was made to appear as though I brought
- 4:42Speaker 2: up this stereotype on my own out of nowhere, which
- 4:45Speaker 2: is not the case. The truth is angry black woman
- 4:50Speaker 2: was brought up by Uba last year and Aguila in
- 4:53Speaker 2: a highly charged fourth wall moment, and Aguila, after the
- 4:56Speaker 2: incident with Aaron Sunglasses, Uba spoke directly into the care
- 5:00Speaker 2: don't you dare edit me to look like an angry
- 5:03Speaker 2: black woman. After Anguila Ubin, I frequently discussed this harmful
- 5:08Speaker 2: stereotype at length. As a biracial woman, I will never
- 5:11Speaker 2: know what it's like to fully walk in UBA's shoes.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I've experienced racism from childhood to corporate America, and it
- 5:18Speaker 2: broke my heart to see my friend devastated by the
- 5:21Speaker 2: backlash she received online. I always offered love and support,
- 5:25Speaker 2: and when she asked me for advice, I gave it.
- 5:27Speaker 3: For the record, it was always mutual.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Uba was an incredible friend to me and always supported
- 5:33Speaker 2: me through difficult experiences. During that off camera night in
- 5:37Speaker 2: the Hamptons, we both spoke candidly about our fears and triggers,
- 5:41Speaker 2: as we always had. We hugged, said we loved each other,
- 5:44Speaker 2: and promised to do everything in our power to help
- 5:47Speaker 2: one another. I told Uba that everything she wants for
- 5:50Speaker 2: herself I want for her too, and she wished the
- 5:52Speaker 2: same for me. I'm not sure what shifted after that
- 5:55Speaker 2: touching moment, but I deeply regret and I'm sorry if
- 5:58Speaker 2: I overstepped. Uba needs a friend to listen to the
- 6:01Speaker 2: thoughts and fears which she expressed that night, she didn't
- 6:04Speaker 2: need someone to repeat them back to her.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I hope the powerful fourth wall.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Moment that happened in Anguilla well before the Hamptons will
- 6:11Speaker 2: be shown at this year's reunion so that this long standing,
- 6:15Speaker 2: nearly two year old issue can be addressed openly. A
- 6:18Speaker 2: constructive conversation is much needed to clear the air and
- 6:21Speaker 2: provide context enclosure for everyone involved. I was happy, and
- 6:30Speaker 2: I think there's going to be a lot more to
- 6:32Speaker 2: come to this, which is why I think she probably
- 6:34Speaker 2: released that statement. I think we just have to wait
- 6:38Speaker 2: and see what's going to happen. And but it's it's
- 6:45Speaker 2: all around. It's she's trying to force Bravo to show
- 6:51Speaker 2: footage that they didn't show.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Maybe they will at the reunion. Isn't that what the
- 6:56Speaker 3: reunion's for? I mean, well, that's what she's suggesting.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But do you think as a housewife you can force
- 7:02Speaker 2: them to show footage that they didn't prove it?
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah? No, I mean I don't think I would have
- 7:09Speaker 3: forced them to shown a lot of footage this season
- 7:11Speaker 3: of me, or remove a lot of footage. Yeah, not
- 7:14Speaker 3: even remove show why? Yeah? True? Like you can't be
- 7:19Speaker 3: so one sided but here we are. The real House
- 7:22Speaker 3: is New York, Season fifteen, episode six. Aaron and Abe
- 7:26Speaker 3: are throwing a Cinco de Mayo celebration in honor of
- 7:29Speaker 3: their mescal company. I did she send you some? No,
- 7:33Speaker 3: he sent me some. It's I don't know if she did. Actually,
- 7:36Speaker 3: it's at our Big Bear house and I am going
- 7:39Speaker 3: to definitely taste it because I'm going to be in
- 7:41Speaker 3: big beer this weekend. For the record, we had it
- 7:43Speaker 3: at Bravocon. Yeah, yep, we had that. We had it
- 7:47Speaker 3: at Bravo Con. I don't know that I hadn't Is
- 7:49Speaker 3: that what Joe Gorger was pouring in my mouth?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yes?
- 7:52Speaker 3: Oh, okay, that I had. It was really good, Yeah, delicious.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Abe tells Aaron he spoke to Jenna at Jessel's party.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Aaron says, Jenna has been texting her.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Every day.
- 8:05Speaker 2: But I love you, Aaron. I want your mescal to succeed.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I loved your dress at the party. But I hate
- 8:12Speaker 2: to break it to you. You're not the first person
- 8:15Speaker 2: to bring mescal to the United States.
- 8:17Speaker 3: No, but also she was sold that tequila is a
- 8:20Speaker 3: poor man's drink, and I'm not sure if you're drinking
- 8:23Speaker 3: nineteen forty two. Is that what it's called, the one
- 8:26Speaker 3: that's like one hundred dollars a shot. It's not for
- 8:29Speaker 3: the poor man, that's for sure as well. It is
- 8:32Speaker 3: a rich man's drink. And okay, I didn't know that.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Well. I also didn't know that Abe was actually sitting
- 8:41Speaker 2: on any of her things that went into the swag bag.
- 8:44Speaker 3: I think at this point you can she was only
- 8:46Speaker 3: putting papers in there. I'm assuming there's other things in there.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Well, I thought she was putting like it looked like
- 8:52Speaker 2: to me, like a T shirt or a sweatshirt, Like
- 8:54Speaker 2: I I folded something that she was sticking in.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I love that she stuck it to jazzl when she
- 8:59Speaker 3: said there's two hundred and sixty people, but it only
- 9:04Speaker 3: holds one hundred and eighty, and it'll be more than
- 9:06Speaker 3: Jessel's party. Well, I also, everything's a competition.
- 9:11Speaker 2: But did I miss the memo where you're supposed to
- 9:15Speaker 2: openly share that you're over capacity at an event.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I was like, the place that has had.
- 9:20Speaker 2: The event's probably like, oh shit, don't share that.
- 9:23Speaker 3: We're gonna get our asses shut down right legedly.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Like, I think capacity is actually something you kind of
- 9:29Speaker 2: have to stick.
- 9:30Speaker 3: By as a business owner. Yes, but I yes, I
- 9:33Speaker 3: think anybody's going to go back and knock on their
- 9:35Speaker 3: door and the fire Marshal's going to be there, and no.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I don't think so take it. But it did look
- 9:41Speaker 2: like it was a booming party. But before that, we
- 9:44Speaker 2: get to Jessel and her mom getting manicures. Jessel says
- 9:48Speaker 2: she would like to have a daughter from frozen embryos.
- 9:51Speaker 2: She still needs to convince Pavit, but they can't have
- 9:54Speaker 2: a serious conversation. Jessel wants to see a therapist with
- 9:57Speaker 2: Pavet to help their communication, but.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Knows he will not go.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Do you find men to be more adverse to therapy
- 10:05Speaker 2: overall or do you think it just depends on the guy.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I think it depends on the guy. I mean, Eddie
- 10:10Speaker 3: and I have never gone to therapy. I don't. I
- 10:13Speaker 3: think if I suggested he would go, yeah, he would go.
- 10:18Speaker 3: But but it sounded like, you know, coming up like pop.
- 10:21Speaker 3: It's like, no, we're not using your therapists, We're using
- 10:23Speaker 3: my therapist. But you know, Giselle, but he doesn't have
- 10:27Speaker 3: a therapist. He is not a therapist. He just wants
- 10:29Speaker 3: a cheap therapist. So he's gonna do a therapy dot
- 10:31Speaker 3: com online is probably what he's gonna do. Should he
- 10:34Speaker 3: use one of us?
- 10:35Speaker 2: We really are thriving, and my name like the ones
- 10:38Speaker 2: that why don't you think about?
- 10:41Speaker 3: Jessel telling her mom she wants another baby and her
- 10:43Speaker 3: mom is saying like, well, it's a lot of work,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and she's like, yeah, I know, I'm gonna have to
- 10:47Speaker 3: get a night nanny and a day nanny, and I'm like, okay.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Season one, Camille Grammar like, does anybody nowadays raise their kids?
- 10:57Speaker 3: I think.
- 11:01Speaker 2: That's a hard one to answer, because nobody knows what's
- 11:06Speaker 2: going on in each household. But I do think from
- 11:11Speaker 2: someone who had kids prior to being on Housewives and
- 11:16Speaker 2: then had a child after being on Housewives, I think
- 11:21Speaker 2: that when you are on a television show currently filming
- 11:25Speaker 2: and have another job or whatever it may be, you
- 11:28Speaker 2: may have things that you don't didn't have before. Like
- 11:31Speaker 2: with Slat and Cruise, I did not have any of it.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but then I had a babysitter that would come
- 11:37Speaker 3: in and because Sydney and and Spencer were so close
- 11:42Speaker 3: in age where I would just go to the grocery store,
- 11:45Speaker 3: put to the dry cleaners, do my thing four hours
- 11:48Speaker 3: come home. That was set.
- 11:50Speaker 2: But then when it with Dove, I mean, it was
- 11:54Speaker 2: a very different time. And I mean we had to
- 11:58Speaker 2: live in nanny.
- 12:00Speaker 3: So is this nandy that would get up in the
- 12:02Speaker 3: middle of the night. No, we actually would rotate.
- 12:05Speaker 2: So one day I would do night and she would
- 12:10Speaker 2: help me during the day when I was at work,
- 12:12Speaker 2: and then vice versa. But it would I could do it, like,
- 12:16Speaker 2: but she would come in in the middle of the
- 12:18Speaker 2: night and be like, Okay, you know, it's time to
- 12:22Speaker 2: breastfeed or it's time to do whatever. You know. Like
- 12:25Speaker 2: there were just certain nights that I slept a little bit,
- 12:31Speaker 2: and then there was for twenty years. I just I
- 12:34Speaker 2: don't I don't like people in my house.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I don't. I don't know. And I but I also
- 12:39Speaker 3: I like to do everything. Yeah, and He's like, just
- 12:42Speaker 3: stop doing everything around here, Like if the house seems
- 12:45Speaker 3: to be painted all painted, if I need the disition
- 12:46Speaker 3: be done, I'm gonna do it. I'm like, I'm I
- 12:48Speaker 3: have to. That's just how I am.
- 12:50Speaker 2: But I think to each his own. But then Raquel,
- 13:01Speaker 2: Uba and Si meet for lunch. An article came out
- 13:04Speaker 2: stating that Jenna is ready to marry cas bird, SI
- 13:08Speaker 2: doesn't understand why Jenna is being so vague about her engagement.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Raquel thinks Jenna wants to keep things low.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Like she did.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Then we actually get to know a little bit about
- 13:17Speaker 2: Roquel said, know her, I know this is so great.
- 13:19Speaker 3: We've been asking for it since it started. Raquel also
- 13:23Speaker 3: kept melt quite because she didn't want roo rumors that
- 13:26Speaker 3: she was having an affair, so she kept that quite.
- 13:29Speaker 3: But there was a year separation between when she left
- 13:33Speaker 3: her husband and when she started dating, according to her,
- 13:37Speaker 3: and it seems like it's very important for her to
- 13:39Speaker 3: get this message out. It's something that's really bothered her
- 13:41Speaker 3: because then you know, and later on we do hear
- 13:44Speaker 3: her talk about it again. She wants everybody to know
- 13:47Speaker 3: that she didn't have an affair.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Well, I think she also wanted to protect which I
- 13:54Speaker 2: think is completely normal to want to protect your new relationship.
- 14:00Speaker 3: And when she said that as well too, Yeah, that
- 14:03Speaker 3: she's protecting her relationship.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And I think she does open up more here she
- 14:10Speaker 2: talks about her business that she had with her ex.
- 14:14Speaker 2: And then also I think there's a dynamic that you know,
- 14:18Speaker 2: you and I can't fully talk to with experience, but
- 14:22Speaker 2: she's gone from being married to a man to.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Being with a woman. Some reason, I thought they were
- 14:29Speaker 3: already married. I was kind of like, oh, so you're engaged.
- 14:33Speaker 3: But I'm like I thought when she showed her ring,
- 14:35Speaker 3: I thought it was a wedding ring.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Yeah, no, because weren't they taking like engagement photos in
- 14:40Speaker 2: front of the Harley's or whatever.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I don't remember. I have a very short term memory.
- 14:47Speaker 3: But would what would Brendan do without her brother? Hold on, Well,
- 14:50Speaker 3: before we.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Get to that, I feel like Jenna is keeping things
- 14:53Speaker 2: vague because she's keeping things off camera.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Well, Jenna is not going to show her relationship on
- 14:59Speaker 3: camera that we do when we do know that she's engaged,
- 15:03Speaker 3: but we're never going to see that wedding.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I think we have to have a new quote whenever
- 15:07Speaker 2: anything as Jenna Alliance is keeping it off camera is
- 15:12Speaker 2: just we've been jen lyond, We've been in lyoned, We've
- 15:17Speaker 2: been jen lyoned, Like we are not getting it.
- 15:20Speaker 3: On gtten it. We're just not getting it. But you
- 15:23Speaker 3: know who's getting it. As Bren's brother, He's getting a
- 15:25Speaker 3: lot of FaceTime calls because Brent is a single woman.
- 15:28Speaker 3: But she's also the co founder and chief marketing officer
- 15:31Speaker 3: of a new app called Riz. Did we just learn
- 15:34Speaker 3: that word recently? We did?
- 15:36Speaker 2: Can somebody give us the definition of riz? Because even
- 15:38Speaker 2: though it's like cool, right.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Cool, and it's better than jizz I guess, and it's
- 15:44Speaker 3: all about relationship.
- 15:45Speaker 2: In charisma a te charisma, we don't even remember what
- 15:50Speaker 2: riz is, but I know my kids say it like
- 15:54Speaker 2: he's got riz. Like there was a boy and kit
- 15:57Speaker 2: at the kid's Halloween parade who like came out and
- 16:01Speaker 2: like he was dancing like no other, like it was.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I couldn't even believe it. That's what I think that
- 16:07Speaker 3: the slang meaning of briz means. Now, how did you
- 16:10Speaker 3: feel about Brynn talking to her brother about you know,
- 16:14Speaker 3: what was going on? And obviously it was her side
- 16:17Speaker 3: of it. Well, I have a question. Is her brother
- 16:21Speaker 3: an official friend of because well he should be.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Why can't we get her life updates with another housewife?
- 16:28Speaker 3: But I kind of felt like what Brynn was telling
- 16:31Speaker 3: her brother wasn't necessarily one hundred percent true because she's
- 16:35Speaker 3: saying that the girls are treating her like shit, and
- 16:38Speaker 3: she's not used to being treated like shit unless it's
- 16:40Speaker 3: her aunts and her uncles but also like these conversations,
- 16:46Speaker 3: she's messy, she's not she's no innocent little angel, love
- 16:50Speaker 3: her to death, but she she she has a part
- 16:52Speaker 3: in this.
- 16:53Speaker 2: But also why aren't we seeing her work on the app?
- 16:56Speaker 2: I want to see what it takes to make an
- 16:58Speaker 2: app like yond Summer House.
- 16:59Speaker 3: We got to watch well. I don't think she's actually
- 17:02Speaker 3: making the app. I think that that takes a professional
- 17:06Speaker 3: to do that. We almost made a fitness app when
- 17:09Speaker 3: we had cut fitness, that we would have a like
- 17:11Speaker 3: an app to show different workouts and how.
- 17:13Speaker 2: You apps are expensive, it's very expensive. Apps are very expensive,
- 17:19Speaker 2: hundreds of thousands of dollars, which is in that way
- 17:23Speaker 2: very especially if you want to if you want to
- 17:25Speaker 2: just get on to another app and kind of build
- 17:28Speaker 2: your own platform behind it, that's one thing. But if
- 17:31Speaker 2: you're going to build an entire app from the ground up,
- 17:34Speaker 2: that's hundreds of thousands of dollars. Well, then we get
- 17:39Speaker 2: to Jessel and Pavits getting dinner. Jessel said she met
- 17:44Speaker 2: with her IVF coach Tasha to talk about baby number three.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Pavit says, the decision has already made. There's no baby.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I have a question for you, do you think that
- 17:54Speaker 2: what we're seeing here is like.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Them trying to give like t.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Well give TV, but not just that, like it gives
- 18:04Speaker 2: me vibes of Adrian and Paul, Like it's giving me
- 18:08Speaker 2: like we are going to give these quippy little like
- 18:12Speaker 2: back and forth.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I think on Povits side, for sure, I feel like
- 18:17Speaker 3: he's saying things to be controversial. I think that everything
- 18:22Speaker 3: he's doing so far seems a little uh stretched, like
- 18:27Speaker 3: he's doing it just for TV. I mean, these two
- 18:30Speaker 3: can't even agree on anything. They couldn't even agree on
- 18:32Speaker 3: ordering vegetables.
- 18:34Speaker 2: But also, do you feel like they're they're scripting it,
- 18:38Speaker 2: like not not the show, but do you think they're okay.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Jessel Is I think I don't think scripting. I think
- 18:43Speaker 3: he's just saying things that are going to get people talking.
- 18:47Speaker 3: And I think he's gonna learn the hard way. He's
- 18:49Speaker 3: gonna learn the hard way, and people are gonna start
- 18:51Speaker 3: sending him hate.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Yeah, because but I think last year people liked it
- 18:55Speaker 2: and so they're like, Okay, we're really going to lean
- 18:57Speaker 2: into this now. But now it's point where I'm like,
- 19:00Speaker 2: you're actually just being a dick.
- 19:02Speaker 3: He's being rude and disrespectful to his wife. He's also
- 19:06Speaker 3: being condescending. He's in there taking pictures of food and
- 19:08Speaker 3: talking over her about food when she's trying to tell
- 19:11Speaker 3: him she wants a little girl. Yeah, and if you
- 19:15Speaker 3: mean there's other ways to say, listen, I get it,
- 19:18Speaker 3: but you know what, I just don't want another child.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Or even just the conversation about who's going to book
- 19:24Speaker 2: the therapist, like you could see a moment where Jessel
- 19:28Speaker 2: was just defeated.
- 19:29Speaker 3: It does make you wonder where he stands with her,
- 19:32Speaker 3: how much she loves her. When he's like, they have
- 19:34Speaker 3: two kids, right, like what's one more? Like, really, why
- 19:38Speaker 3: do you not want another child?
- 19:40Speaker 2: Well?
- 19:40Speaker 3: I think it feels like I don't know.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I think he's so concerned with wanting to be a
- 19:48Speaker 2: food influencer and trying to get that out there on
- 19:51Speaker 2: camera that whether they.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Want to have another kid or not.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I think I do think that that discussion between between
- 19:59Speaker 2: you know, parents and you know it seems like and
- 20:02Speaker 2: this isn't a bad thing.
- 20:03Speaker 3: It seems like Pavet is very money conscious so well,
- 20:09Speaker 3: but I think these are discussions so you think it's
- 20:11Speaker 3: about money. He doesn't want to have more kids because
- 20:14Speaker 3: it's about money.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I think that could potentially be one of the reasons.
- 20:17Speaker 2: But also I think he probably like if we're going
- 20:20Speaker 2: to try to see the good parts of Pavet. It
- 20:22Speaker 2: could also be he saw all the pain and hardships
- 20:26Speaker 2: that Jessel went through trying to have h.
- 20:29Speaker 3: But don't you think that it's going to be pain
- 20:31Speaker 3: and hardship for her going forward if she really wants
- 20:34Speaker 3: a little girl. I mean, I think all women want
- 20:37Speaker 3: a little girl, and if they have the choice with
- 20:40Speaker 3: IVF to get one, why just because of money, he's
- 20:43Speaker 3: not going to do it for her. I don't think
- 20:45Speaker 3: that's fair.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Well, I think that's why they need to be in
- 20:49Speaker 2: therapy to talk about it.
- 20:50Speaker 3: I think we're gonna see it. We're gonna get us
- 20:52Speaker 3: a cheap therapist, and we're going to ride this wave,
- 20:54Speaker 3: this baby wave. Well so well, it's to be determined, right,
- 21:00Speaker 3: to be determined.
- 21:01Speaker 2: But either way, the relationship at this point in time
- 21:06Speaker 2: is off.
- 21:08Speaker 3: It's off. It's off. Ll Quell and Mell's relationship is
- 21:11Speaker 3: not off. They are super cute together and they go
- 21:13Speaker 3: to an art gallery. This is the first art fair
- 21:15Speaker 3: they've been together in New York. A reporter found out
- 21:18Speaker 3: that Raquel's breakup and Mel was portrayed as a home wrecker.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Oh my, not a home wrecker. Raquel and Mel are
- 21:25Speaker 3: announcing their engagement. Raquel hasn't told her mother yet because
- 21:29Speaker 3: she wouldn't approve. That was pretty sad, the whole story
- 21:32Speaker 3: about her saying, you know, like she hasn't talked to her,
- 21:34Speaker 3: she hasn't seen her mom in like a ten gage. Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 3: and that her mom.
- 21:40Speaker 2: What was the quote that her mom said, like women
- 21:42Speaker 2: are drama or what.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Yeah, women are dramatic or their drama or something like that,
- 21:47Speaker 3: like when she told her that she was a lesbian,
- 21:49Speaker 3: she's her words to her or or something along the lines. Well,
- 21:53Speaker 3: you know, women are very dramatic.
- 21:56Speaker 2: But then too, I mean the fact that they're having
- 21:58Speaker 2: to discuss if they should invite her, if she's going
- 22:01Speaker 2: to show up, I mean that's a.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Really Raquel's like, can't we have the kids do it?
- 22:07Speaker 2: I have to say I really liked Raquel this episode.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I am getting we get to the story, and that's
- 22:15Speaker 3: what we needed for Roquel because we really don't we
- 22:17Speaker 3: don't know her.
- 22:18Speaker 2: We were just assuming, and you know, when you make assumptions,
- 22:22Speaker 2: it's hard to get to like right now, I couldn't
- 22:25Speaker 2: tell you one thing about Rebecca mink Off.
- 22:29Speaker 3: She's not in it that much. I've noticed she was
- 22:31Speaker 3: barely in it in this episode. But I just want
- 22:33Speaker 3: to say how sad it is to have to worry
- 22:35Speaker 3: about your own family not accepting who you're in love with. Yeah, like,
- 22:41Speaker 3: come on, parents out there, Yeah, put your head out.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Well, Raquel and Mel are announcing their engagement. But Raquel,
- 22:48Speaker 2: you know he hasn't told her mom. I didn't. I
- 22:54Speaker 2: wonder like, is this something that they're going to really
- 22:58Speaker 2: delve into, Like are we going to see these We're
- 23:00Speaker 2: gonna see mom?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Yeah, are we going to see mom? So I hope.
- 23:05Speaker 2: So then everyone arrives at Aaron in Abe's event. Aaron
- 23:09Speaker 2: says Brent went off when they went shopping. Uba says,
- 23:12Speaker 2: Jessel and Aaron are pigeons, Bren. But also something that
- 23:18Speaker 2: Aaron said, She's like, I really hope at this event
- 23:20Speaker 2: we can all just get together. But then she's like,
- 23:23Speaker 2: but first, let me stir the pot.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Well that's the thing. They were in there for about
- 23:27Speaker 3: three minutes, and Aaron started a ship strain right off
- 23:30Speaker 3: the bat, right off the bat and I'm like, okay, Aaron,
- 23:33Speaker 3: I'll see you. I see what you're doing.
- 23:36Speaker 2: She's like, I'm going to make sure that this Mescal
- 23:38Speaker 2: party gets shown.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Gets shown. So I'm going to start off with some
- 23:41Speaker 3: shit sterring at this party. I'm going to tell you
- 23:44Speaker 3: that Brent threw all of you under the bus and
- 23:47Speaker 3: threw you under the Brooklyn Bridge, is which they actually
- 23:50Speaker 3: But what is UBA's obsession with pigeons? No? I think
- 23:56Speaker 3: that she just said, like, you're a pigeon, I think
- 24:00Speaker 3: saying it in every episode, right, But then she got
- 24:03Speaker 3: a book about pigeons. I know at this point, we
- 24:06Speaker 3: just need to turn it into a business. Uba. Come on,
- 24:08Speaker 3: you're gonna be a pigeon trainer next?
- 24:09Speaker 2: Yeah, Uba, hot pigeons, let's go. Should the name of
- 24:21Speaker 2: this episode just been called bo?
- 24:24Speaker 3: I mean, why did justsel like I get like maybe
- 24:27Speaker 3: one time, being like you know, sninky.
- 24:29Speaker 2: But like she kept it going on and on and on,
- 24:33Speaker 2: like this is this Aaron's event and you.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Smell, yes, smell and I'm like, oh my god, that
- 24:40Speaker 3: is so rude. But Eron Uber throwing Aaron under the
- 24:43Speaker 3: bus immediately, and then Aaron's this one, you mean this one,
- 24:47Speaker 3: this one, and Aaron's like, oh, it's not that deep,
- 24:51Speaker 3: and I'm like, mm hmm, I think the Brooklyn Bridge
- 24:53Speaker 3: is kind of deep. Girl. I noticed that no details
- 24:56Speaker 3: were really brought up. We only saw the details in
- 24:58Speaker 3: a flashback, right, So, I mean if somebody would have said, like,
- 25:02Speaker 3: you know, well, Brand said, but you live under the
- 25:05Speaker 3: Brooklyn Bridge, then I think them were fighting worts.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I think that I can't imagine these aren't coming.
- 25:14Speaker 3: How about Brent calling Aaron's dad daddy and talking about
- 25:19Speaker 3: like being in bed all day and hanging out with
- 25:21Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my god, remember that was her tagline?
- 25:25Speaker 3: Well what was it? Likeagline? She's living up to her tagline.
- 25:31Speaker 2: But I think that's just her shtick. That didn't even
- 25:33Speaker 2: really bother me. I was like, she's either going to
- 25:35Speaker 2: be hitting on Aaron's dad or her husband like this
- 25:40Speaker 2: is just her thing, or Jenna Like I think she's
- 25:43Speaker 2: just a flirt in general, and that's her.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Like maybe she's cute. I don't care. She can she
- 25:49Speaker 3: can be all messy if she wants. I still love her.
- 25:53Speaker 2: But then Side doesn't understand what's what Brenn's problem is
- 25:56Speaker 2: with her?
- 25:57Speaker 3: Uba tells Jessel.
- 25:58Speaker 2: She's upset for her for not telling her that Brent
- 26:01Speaker 2: talk shit Aaron and Jessel'll say it's not that deep.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Then Jessel questions Uba on why she's drinking out of
- 26:08Speaker 2: the table's water bottle. Uba then calls Jessel a basic bitch.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Have I need to know something right now? Tarama, Do
- 26:15Speaker 2: you think that you're a basic bitch?
- 26:19Speaker 3: Probably? Yeah, me too. Yeah, I think I think we're
- 26:22Speaker 3: both pretty basic bitch.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I think, I mean, but Jessel being so offended by
- 26:27Speaker 2: being a basic bitch.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I mean, what's the alternative to a basic bitch? I mean,
- 26:34Speaker 3: an original asshole? I don't know. I'll take either one.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I mean, you are either one, I think. I mean
- 26:41Speaker 3: what it was a basic bitch was putting all their
- 26:42Speaker 3: hands in the middle of the table and whoo.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah, like they may as well have just taken a
- 26:48Speaker 2: boomerang of their champagne or their drinks or their mescal toast, right, yeah, yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 2: And I love when Jessel was like, don't ever do
- 26:58Speaker 2: that again, don't ever do that again.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's it's a lot. And then it's
- 27:05Speaker 3: gidding no, and then Rebecca has to leave early. She
- 27:08Speaker 3: usually shows up late and leaves early because she has
- 27:12Speaker 3: an award event. Reren said, I didn't know North from
- 27:14Speaker 3: Racks gives out awards the shade Shade, by the way,
- 27:18Speaker 3: I like North of Rack. I like Marshalls. I like
- 27:21Speaker 3: North from Raq. I like, I haven't been to a
- 27:24Speaker 3: Marshalls and I can't tell you how long? What there's one?
- 27:26Speaker 3: Have you been to a home goods?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Oh?
- 27:28Speaker 3: I go to home Goods all the time. It's across
- 27:30Speaker 3: the street, but I don't really have them. Do you
- 27:31Speaker 3: have I been to Marshalls? See?
- 27:33Speaker 2: I go to Marshalls a lot for the kids, for
- 27:35Speaker 2: not the kids anymore, but for Dove's shoes, because Dove
- 27:39Speaker 2: grows out of shoes like every eight minutes and you
- 27:43Speaker 2: come fifteen.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Like I'm not kidding.
- 27:46Speaker 2: I'm like, I bought these for you two weeks ago,
- 27:48Speaker 2: and now they She's like my toe.
- 27:50Speaker 3: So it's like I go to Marshalls. Well, Brenn obviously
- 27:53Speaker 3: can't help herself. She's got a dig. She's gonna go
- 27:56Speaker 3: ahead and say it. Who I am surprised has been
- 27:58Speaker 3: pretty mellow? Oh is si? I know you know that
- 28:03Speaker 3: she's got to dig in her head and she's like,
- 28:05Speaker 3: don't say it. Don't say it.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I feel like we're going to see a little shift though.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I think she's gonna come She's going to come back
- 28:12Speaker 2: out as the original size layer. Yeah, but Aaron says,
- 28:18Speaker 2: Brent cannot help herself when it comes to Rebecca. What
- 28:22Speaker 2: do you think Brend's issue is with Rebecca. She's pissed
- 28:25Speaker 2: that she's not more entertaining or getting involved more.
- 28:29Speaker 3: I think so because that she was talking about her
- 28:32Speaker 3: on Jeff Lewis's show like she's just she's boring. That
- 28:36Speaker 3: was Cie if we don't Oh, that's right, it was Si.
- 28:39Speaker 3: It was Sia that said that, I don't know what
- 28:41Speaker 3: Bren's problem is.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I mean, I think Brin's just like now I'm having
- 28:44Speaker 2: to do all this work, make everything sexual.
- 28:47Speaker 3: I would not feel comfortable if I was making fun
- 28:52Speaker 3: of Rebecca Minkoff's business because it's fucking huge and she
- 28:57Speaker 3: is a very rich woman because of that, so it's
- 29:01Speaker 3: not a great look then to be making fun of it.
- 29:06Speaker 3: I wish I had that business.
- 29:08Speaker 2: But I know, well, how did you feel about when
- 29:12Speaker 2: Aaron and Abe and her business partner give a speech
- 29:15Speaker 2: and then Brenn says that the guy that's the guy
- 29:19Speaker 2: Aaron hooked.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Up with Well, she said she saw her business partner naked.
- 29:24Speaker 3: But is it this business partner. I have a feeling
- 29:26Speaker 3: she's had many businesses throughout now. I think I think
- 29:29Speaker 3: that is the actual guy, Like, and Abe's okay with
- 29:33Speaker 3: this guy being business partners with her? Well, I mean,
- 29:35Speaker 3: if I don't know, I don't know you hook up.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Did she didn't? She say I saw him naked, but
- 29:40Speaker 3: then she was like, granted, I can't do it sexy
- 29:44Speaker 3: like Bran Brinn's like, yeah, please, don't don't do that again.
- 29:49Speaker 2: God, But she's doing that the whole time, which I
- 29:53Speaker 2: think implies that's what's happening. But before I have to
- 29:59Speaker 2: talk about the scenes for next week, because I need
- 30:01Speaker 2: to know your prediction.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Who is pregnant? Who was? I don't know. I actually
- 30:07Speaker 3: paused and looked at the whole cast. I'm like, I
- 30:09Speaker 3: don't think it's anybody on this cast. I don't I anybody.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I think this is a past pregnancy that they're about
- 30:15Speaker 2: to unveil.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's either something past or somebody that that it's
- 30:19Speaker 3: they're not even on the cast. I'm wondering.
- 30:21Speaker 2: I mean, granted, this is complete speculation, but I'm wondering
- 30:25Speaker 2: if it's somebody on this cast.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Which I'm thinking that maybe it was mal No, I'm
- 30:32Speaker 3: thinking it.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I I this is totally my guest, but I feel
- 30:36Speaker 2: like them setting this up with Aaron and the business
- 30:39Speaker 2: partner is like maybe when they were teenagers they were
- 30:43Speaker 2: boyfriend girlfriend or you know, there's.
- 30:45Speaker 3: It's maybe it's uh the Sarah Gut Jesel's Sarahgut. Oh,
- 30:50Speaker 3: I don't.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Think so, because they were like, it's a crazy night out,
- 30:53Speaker 2: unless that Jessel's potential Sarahgut had a crazy night out
- 30:57Speaker 2: of it.
- 30:58Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 31:02Speaker 2: But yeah, I do think this episode was good and
- 31:05Speaker 2: at least we're starting to get to know more of
- 31:07Speaker 2: the ladies.
- 31:08Speaker 3: We're getting yelled at by the name by the way, Jessel,
- 31:12Speaker 3: Sorry Jessel. Well, I can't wait to see you tomorrow
- 31:15Speaker 3: at Yama yam yeamah.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Yeah yeah Yeahmava, I need a little tam picked me up.
- 31:25Speaker 3: It's actually it's on my way to Big Bear, so
- 31:29Speaker 3: I'm going to go spend the night. We're gonna hang out,
- 31:31Speaker 3: we're gonna have a girl's night there and we're going
- 31:32Speaker 3: to see Mariah Carey. And then the next day I
- 31:35Speaker 3: am going to drive to Big Bear. I love it.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Maybe one day you'll invite me to Big Bear. Maybe.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Don't hold your breath. My fact it's my you know what,
- 31:44Speaker 3: it's weird. It's like my safe place.
- 31:47Speaker 2: The fact that you've invited Jin and Alexis to Big
- 31:50Speaker 2: Bear not me is.
- 31:52Speaker 3: That was on the show. But I, yeah, I don't.
- 32:00Speaker 3: It's weird. It's like I'm very protective at the energy
- 32:02Speaker 3: within that house. I will invite you, but my energy
- 32:06Speaker 3: is good enough to energet there. Yes, I don't like
- 32:09Speaker 3: a lot of people at the Big Bearhouse for some reason.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I don't know. I think it's pretty clear. We don't
- 32:13Speaker 3: like a lot of people period. Yeah. End quote. All right, guys,
- 32:18Speaker 3: thanks for tuning in. We'll be back. I was still
- 32:21Speaker 3: a solid city this week. We'll be back tomorrow. No, no,
- 32:29Speaker 3: I'll vote it. Bye bye,
