- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Hawk Talk with former Seahawks wide receiver
- 0:04Speaker 1: Michael Bumpus, powered by Seahawks dot Com.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Now here's your host. That's a chopdie.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Welcome into another edition of Hawk Talk. The Seahawks coming
- 0:14Speaker 1: off a huge win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We're flipping the script.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Welcome me in the Houston Texans to Lum Midfield on
- 0:20Speaker 1: Monday night football.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Bump This's gonna be a big game.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Hit you with some injury updates real quick, right Julian Love,
- 0:26Speaker 1: Riquell and Devin Witherspoon.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Coach McDonald said today that they will practice. OK.
- 0:29Speaker 1: It doesn't mean they're sure gonna play, but the fact
- 0:31Speaker 1: that they're practicing to be on the field today is
- 0:33Speaker 1: a big thing.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Give me one out of three. I'll take one out there.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I mean I take all three. I want them to
- 0:37Speaker 3: be back. But if we can get one of those
- 0:39Speaker 3: dudes back, that's gonna help absolutely So that's huge. And
- 0:41Speaker 3: then towards the end of the game, Jared Reed kind
- 0:43Speaker 3: of got dinged up. He's fine, he's out there in practice.
- 0:45Speaker 3: He was on the huddle today. Great interview if you
- 0:47Speaker 3: want to listen to that with bump on against Stacy Ross.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Jared Reed is such dude. He's such an og. I
- 0:52Speaker 2: love Joe.
- 0:52Speaker 3: He's settled in man. He's so confident, articulated. He thinks
- 0:56Speaker 3: about every answer. He doesn't just fire back at you.
- 0:58Speaker 3: It was a good interview.
- 0:59Speaker 2: He'd have a fire podcast.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah you would, Jared Reed. You're welcome on the show anytime,
- 1:03Speaker 1: any time. Just throwing that out there.
- 1:04Speaker 2: All right, let's get into these Houston Texans. Let's on tap.
- 1:08Speaker 2: What's on tap? Two and three? Third place in the
- 1:11Speaker 2: AFC South.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Losses to the Rams, the Bucks, the Jags in the
- 1:15Speaker 1: wins the last two weeks over the Titans and a
- 1:17Speaker 1: beat down over the Ravens.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Big go off to a rough star bump.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Obviously, they're owing three lost all games though by one score,
- 1:23Speaker 1: so they were all close. Coming into the season under
- 1:25Speaker 1: Demico Ryans, they were actually really good one score games.
- 1:27Speaker 1: They're fourtune and eight. Didn't have a good start to
- 1:29Speaker 1: this season, but they're led by this defense. We're gonna
- 1:32Speaker 1: get into all those guys a little bit later, but CJ. Stroud,
- 1:35Speaker 1: Nico Collins, they got a lot of dogs on there.
- 1:37Speaker 1: But the last two games, this offense has been on point. Bump,
- 1:40Speaker 1: They've outscored their opponents seventy to ten. Now you can say, well,
- 1:43Speaker 1: the combined record of those two teams is two and ten.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Ravens completely depleted. But either way, Bump, they're playing good football.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah they are, and the film show CJ is in
- 1:52Speaker 3: a good place right now. These responsible with the football
- 1:55Speaker 3: complete and seventy percent of his passes. If you don't
- 1:57Speaker 3: put pressure on him, there could be some problem. So
- 2:01Speaker 3: it should be a good challenge. Not sleeping on the
- 2:03Speaker 3: Texans at all.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Yeah, no, what did you see from the Ravens in
- 2:06Speaker 2: that Texans game?
- 2:07Speaker 3: All right, Texas Ravens against the Ravens, the offense finally
- 2:10Speaker 3: showed up in a big way. They scored on all
- 2:12Speaker 3: eight offensive possession, coasting to a forty four to ten. Man,
- 2:15Speaker 3: did you imagine being offensive coordinator and every time your
- 2:18Speaker 3: offense against the ball you're ending with seven.
- 2:20Speaker 2: That's a good feeling.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You're you're walking into the meetings on Monday before the
- 2:24Speaker 1: bye week too.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, coach, I'll see you next week. We're good.
- 2:29Speaker 2: We're done here.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Thirty four point win was the most lopsided role winning
- 2:34Speaker 3: Texans history and the most lopside of home loss in
- 2:36Speaker 3: Ravens history. The Ravens were depleted as you can get it,
- 2:39Speaker 3: playing without Lamar Jackson, Kyle Hamilton, Raycon Smith, Marlin Humphrey,
- 2:43Speaker 3: Patrick Richard and using Patrick McCard and tackle Ronnie Stanley.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah, depleted.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, they didn't have their guys obviously again, but the
- 2:51Speaker 1: Texans are still playing good football. I mean, you look
- 2:53Speaker 1: at any time you I'll score somebody for seventeen and
- 2:55Speaker 1: two oh seven. When the starters in the National Football
- 2:58Speaker 1: League leave the game in a regular season game, you
- 3:00Speaker 1: know they got busy.
- 3:02Speaker 3: They alt Gay the Ravens four seventeen to two o seven.
- 3:06Speaker 3: The starters wire pulled. Like you mentioned, Nick Chubb had
- 3:08Speaker 3: sixty one yards and eleven carries a one touchdown. Straus
- 3:11Speaker 3: spread the ball around to eight different people with a reception.
- 3:14Speaker 2: D Henry was held to thirty three yards on fifteen carries.
- 3:17Speaker 2: You know what's sad, This.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Might be like the final decline of d Henry. Hell yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 3: bumbling numbers ain't good. That's that's tough to watch, but
- 3:26Speaker 3: still great. Cooper Rush was fourteen to twenty one seventy nine,
- 3:28Speaker 3: zero touchdowns, three interceptions. Baltimore had three turnovers and the
- 3:32Speaker 3: Texans had zero. It was a beat down from the beginning.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I'm hard to judge if it was more about the
- 3:37Speaker 3: Texans or the Ravens that are all beat up.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Will find out what is real come Monday nights.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and you look at the numbers for the Texans
- 3:44Speaker 1: team as we jump into the headhead matchup, I'll just
- 3:46Speaker 1: jump right into where they're great as defensively smokes. Their
- 3:49Speaker 1: total defense their fourth gaveraging or allowing just two hundred
- 3:53Speaker 1: and sixty five yards a game. They are seventh in
- 3:54Speaker 1: rush defense, allowing just ninety yards per game. They are
- 3:57Speaker 1: fifth in pass defense, lining just one hundred and sevy
- 3:59Speaker 1: five yards per game. And they are number one in
- 4:01Speaker 1: scoring defense, allowing just twelve points per game. Now, yes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: it's inflated a little bit. The last two weeks they
- 4:06Speaker 1: shut out a bad Titans team and the Ravens didn't
- 4:09Speaker 1: have Lamar in the company. But either way, twelve points
- 4:11Speaker 1: because they also played well against the Rams and the Buccaneers.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Buccaneers scored a lot of points here a couple of
- 4:15Speaker 1: weeks ago. They held them to nineteen. So yeah, they're
- 4:18Speaker 1: doing a lot of good things defensively.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Film don't lie neither.
- 4:21Speaker 3: You turn on the film and you watch their defense
- 4:23Speaker 3: fly around and make plays this all the lines. Offensively,
- 4:27Speaker 3: they're twentieth overall, sixteenth when it comes to running the rock,
- 4:30Speaker 3: nineteenth throwing that thing, and twenty second when it comes
- 4:32Speaker 3: to points per game twenty one point six. They do
- 4:35Speaker 3: have five interceptions in their turnover differential is plus one.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean when you look at offensively, they look
- 4:41Speaker 1: average in terms of if you're just looking at the numbers.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Obviously we're going to get into the dogs that they
- 4:45Speaker 1: have offensively, So third good team will be interesting to see
- 4:48Speaker 1: how this match just kind of shakes up quickly. Looking
- 4:50Speaker 1: at the Seahawks, though the Seahawks are tenth total offense
- 4:53Speaker 1: three hundred fifty six yards a game, twenty fourth running
- 4:56Speaker 1: the thing, still struggling there a little bit, fourth and
- 4:58Speaker 1: pass offense, and fifth in points for game. Sam Darnold
- 5:01Speaker 1: and company are throwing that thing. So this offense has
- 5:02Speaker 1: really taken off.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it is taking off a defensively, thirteenth overall. Second
- 5:07Speaker 3: one it comes to rush defense, that's so beautiful. I
- 5:09Speaker 3: love second against the run, averaging allowing seventy nine yards
- 5:13Speaker 3: per game that's great pass defense.
- 5:16Speaker 2: They're better than what this number says. The Bucks game,
- 5:18Speaker 2: that's what it is.
- 5:19Speaker 3: The bus games jacket have been twenty fourth overall and
- 5:21Speaker 3: giving up two hundred and thirty five points. They see
- 5:23Speaker 3: me yards per game and then points per game six
- 5:26Speaker 3: averaging nineteen point five ops.
- 5:28Speaker 1: That's more indicative where they're at as a football team.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I think grabbing up nineteen points per game, you have
- 5:32Speaker 1: one one bad game, Baker through for all those yards.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It's gonna skew a lot of these numbers. But yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I'm excited for this matchup. Bump like, this is a
- 5:38Speaker 1: huge one for the Seahawks. If you can get to
- 5:40Speaker 1: a five and two heading into bye week, hopefully getting
- 5:42Speaker 1: all the players back, things could really really get interesting
- 5:45Speaker 1: here in Seattle.
- 5:47Speaker 2: But Seahawks Texans, they haven't played a ton over the years,
- 5:50Speaker 2: so let's know the history, No, your history.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Seahawks lead the all time series four to one, so
- 5:55Speaker 1: they've only played five games. Obviously, if you remember, the
- 5:57Speaker 1: Texans don't have a long history. They launched in two
- 6:00Speaker 1: and two. Last matchup, the Seahawks took it to the
- 6:03Speaker 1: Texans thirty three to thirteen in Energy Stadium in twenty
- 6:05Speaker 1: twenty one, which feels like a century ago. I remember
- 6:08Speaker 1: Bump the twelves took over that building. Tyler Locker. Shot
- 6:11Speaker 1: Penny had a great game. That was in that stretch
- 6:13Speaker 1: where shot Penny was like one of the best backs
- 6:15Speaker 1: on nuts that one hundred and thirty seven yards, sixteen carries,
- 6:18Speaker 1: two long touchdowns, runs of thirty two and forty seven.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Russell had a good day seventeen twenty eight, two sixty
- 6:23Speaker 1: two touchdowns, no interceptions. Davis Mills was a quarterback for
- 6:26Speaker 1: the Texans that day. Who's still on the roster, by
- 6:28Speaker 1: the way, He's the backup to TJ.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Stroud.
- 6:30Speaker 1: He threw from some yards three hundred and thirty one
- 6:32Speaker 1: yards but only had one touchdown. The show for it
- 6:34Speaker 1: that year kind of thos in the stretch where Russell
- 6:36Speaker 1: broke his fingers, kind of geting healthy again.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Things weren't doing that great.
- 6:39Speaker 1: But hoping the Seahawks can repeat some of that against
- 6:41Speaker 1: these Texans, extending that winning streak. But we'll flip things
- 6:44Speaker 1: back to what's going around in our division.
- 6:46Speaker 2: What's the word? And the Seahawks all the NFC West
- 6:53Speaker 2: champs again.
- 6:54Speaker 3: What's the word in the west On Hawk talk NNC
- 6:59Speaker 3: West still looking good. Yeah, Niners four and two, Hawks
- 7:02Speaker 3: four and two, Rams four and two, and the Cardinals
- 7:03Speaker 3: at two and four. There's a three way tie for
- 7:05Speaker 3: that number one spot, like I mentioned with the Rams,
- 7:08Speaker 3: the Hawks in the forty nine Ers all four and two.
- 7:09Speaker 3: If the playoffs were to start today, the Niners will
- 7:11Speaker 3: win the division with the head to head wins over
- 7:13Speaker 3: Seattle in LA.
- 7:15Speaker 2: This division's up for grabs.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I mean you look at that and the
- 7:18Speaker 1: Niners they're the walking wounded. Obviously we know Fred Warner.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Everything's going down. No Nick Bosa, but they keep finding
- 7:24Speaker 1: ways to be competitive in being games, which a great
- 7:26Speaker 1: segue to this bump Baker Mayfield. He's dominating many they're
- 7:30Speaker 1: chanting MVP. Did you see that clipes for those who
- 7:34Speaker 1: didn't see Test Johnson. He scores a touchdown, he his backflip,
- 7:36Speaker 1: he's doing his thing, and he's hear people chanting MVP
- 7:39Speaker 1: and it's to the sideline.
- 7:40Speaker 2: He's like, man, they're really changing MVP.
- 7:41Speaker 3: They're like, yeah, for Bakers, come on, the guy who
- 7:44Speaker 3: threw you the ball?
- 7:46Speaker 2: That was funny, Hey he was He laughed at himself though.
- 7:49Speaker 2: That was cool.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Baker's ball, and he finished the day seventeen to
- 7:52Speaker 3: twenty three, two fifty six and two touchdowns. But once
- 7:55Speaker 3: again there they're backs against the wall. The forty nine
- 7:57Speaker 3: ers kept them in the game. They were close. It
- 7:59Speaker 3: was seeing for a Warner go out like that. I
- 8:01Speaker 3: know he's the ops, but as a good dude, great linebacker,
- 8:05Speaker 3: one of.
- 8:05Speaker 2: The biggest players. Happened.
- 8:06Speaker 3: One of the biggest plays of the game happened with
- 8:07Speaker 3: four to twenty one left in the third quarter of
- 8:09Speaker 3: the Bucks were up twenty to nineteen. With the ball
- 8:12Speaker 3: facing a third and fourteen, Baker Mayfield went on a
- 8:15Speaker 3: crazy scramble and did enough to make of the first down.
- 8:19Speaker 2: He was in his legs. Oh and he flexed on him.
- 8:21Speaker 1: And whether you like Baker or not, he's a dude
- 8:23Speaker 1: that I would play for because he just his energy
- 8:25Speaker 1: on the field is contagious. Then one player out of
- 8:27Speaker 1: Boom Ted Johnson forty five yard touchdown, extending lead twenty
- 8:30Speaker 1: seven to nineteen. Mac Jones gets intercepted and play later
- 8:33Speaker 1: and that kind of was all she wrote. In that game,
- 8:35Speaker 1: White had sixty five yards and fourteen carries in a touchdown.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Mac Jones twenty seven to thirty nine three forty seven
- 8:41Speaker 1: and two interceptions.
- 8:42Speaker 2: He's also sacked six times.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Ben Christian McAffrey had ano Christian McAffrey game one hundred
- 8:46Speaker 1: and eleven towty yards, one touchdown. But Bump, what's concerning
- 8:48Speaker 1: to me is how much he is carrying the football
- 8:50Speaker 1: receiver ball. He's leading the league and touches per game,
- 8:53Speaker 1: and just with the way they're you know, fighting through injuries,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you just think like, is he taking time on Also, yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 1: it's it's in.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You need to see where the Niners are. But again,
- 9:01Speaker 2: never count them out because they continue to fight.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Like I mentioned, Fred Warner went down, looks like he's
- 9:06Speaker 3: done for the year, broken and dislocated ankle, and the
- 9:10Speaker 3: injuries just don't stop for the Niners. Man, but the
- 9:12Speaker 3: forty nine ers welcome in the Atlanta Falcons for Sunday
- 9:14Speaker 3: Night football.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Falcons fresh off a big.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Win over the Bills, which y'all looks what it had
- 9:19Speaker 3: like one hundred and seventy on the ground.
- 9:20Speaker 2: It was ridiculous. Go Falcons.
- 9:22Speaker 1: We'll get that down. Michael Pennix doing his thing. And
- 9:25Speaker 1: then also elsewhere in the division, the Rams and the Ravens.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Another another week another rough game for the Ravens. Right
- 9:31Speaker 1: Ravens kicked the field goal in their first possession and
- 9:33Speaker 1: did not score the rest of the game. Cooper Rush
- 9:35Speaker 1: struggled and then they had to bring in only after him.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Halftime was three to three, but the Rams took control
- 9:41Speaker 1: of the game after a nine play seventy six yard drive,
- 9:43Speaker 1: the end with three year touchdown to kyn Williams. Two
- 9:45Speaker 1: plays later as a Flowers fumbles, the Rams getting the
- 9:48Speaker 1: end zone a couple of plays later. That made it
- 9:49Speaker 1: seventeen to three and they just kind of took it
- 9:51Speaker 1: from there. Ravens would fumble on their next drive and
- 9:53Speaker 1: they're still missing a lot of people. They're banged up, obviously.
- 9:56Speaker 1: They are nowhere near where they used to be. And
- 9:59Speaker 1: for the Rams, it wasn't a great game, but again
- 10:01Speaker 1: they're still victorious. Stafford seventeen to twenty six, one one touchdown.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Higbe led the Rams and receiving with forty on four
- 10:08Speaker 1: receptions in a touchdown. But the big news out of
- 10:10Speaker 1: that game, Hohokinakua left the game in the second quarter
- 10:13Speaker 1: of the foot injury. He was able to come back
- 10:14Speaker 1: in the third quarter, didn't catch a pass. Lucky for
- 10:16Speaker 1: the Rams. Head coach On McVay said this week that
- 10:19Speaker 1: he avoided a long term injury. He's currently day to
- 10:21Speaker 1: day feeling better, but we'll see something that continue to monitor.
- 10:23Speaker 1: The Rams are spending this week in Baltimore, which is interesting.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I don't know if you saw. I think they're practicing
- 10:27Speaker 1: on they were practicing like Candon Yards. I saw really
- 10:30Speaker 1: a clip with the football lines over there. They're staying
- 10:32Speaker 1: in Baltimore this week to stay on the East Coast.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Four traveling to London to play the Jaguars, who were
- 10:37Speaker 1: obviously beat up after that Seahawks game, but now it's
- 10:39Speaker 1: now it's all love duvall, go.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Get it done.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Hey the Jags, that's like their second home, London, it
- 10:44Speaker 3: really is. They've been playing there since b Walt was
- 10:46Speaker 3: playing for the Jags back in the day.
- 10:49Speaker 2: We got the Cardinals and the Colts.
- 10:51Speaker 3: The Cardinals were without Kyler Murray, Jacob Jacoby excuse me,
- 10:54Speaker 3: Jacoby Rissett stepped up in a big way against his
- 10:56Speaker 3: former team, but it wasn't enough, as the Cardinals failed
- 10:59Speaker 3: to the Coast three thirty one to twenty seven. It
- 11:01Speaker 3: was pretty entertain It was a back and forth game,
- 11:03Speaker 3: right Cardinals kicking a field goal, going up twenty four
- 11:06Speaker 3: to twenty seven with nine thirty one left in the
- 11:07Speaker 3: fourth quarter, but the Colts would answer with a nine play,
- 11:10Speaker 3: sixty six yard drive anyone of Johnathan Taylor touchdown as
- 11:13Speaker 3: the Colts took the lead thirty one to twenty seven
- 11:15Speaker 3: with four to thirty two left in the game.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Indiana Jones, he's real. Yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Every week I keep questioning it, but they keep finding
- 11:24Speaker 1: ways to win. And if you're the Colts, you're thinking, wow.
- 11:27Speaker 2: We just got lucky. You got lucky his head.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Because Richardson, they still think he might be the guy eventually.
- 11:32Speaker 2: But this wasn't supposed to happen.
- 11:33Speaker 1: This thinking Dan Dimes was not gonna win the job,
- 11:35Speaker 1: or he'd played poorly, and then Richard and me back
- 11:37Speaker 1: out there.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Who knows, but he's playing. He's boning right now.
- 11:39Speaker 3: It's probably the best case scenario for Anthony Richardson. Honestly,
- 11:42Speaker 3: let him sit down, let him learn and watch a pro.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Do was saying, let's not forget man, he's a pro bowler, Yeah, guy,
- 11:48Speaker 3: Indiana Jones. Man, but Jacoby, we said, we leave the
- 11:51Speaker 3: Cardinals deep into the red zone. But he took a
- 11:54Speaker 3: sack on third and seven from the nine yard line.
- 11:57Speaker 3: His fourth down pass was incompleting. The Colts held it
- 12:00Speaker 3: down for the win. Danny Dimes, I'm promoting him to
- 12:02Speaker 3: Danny Dollars.
- 12:03Speaker 2: All right.
- 12:04Speaker 3: He was twenty two and thirty for two to twelve,
- 12:06Speaker 3: two touchdowns, one interception. Jonathan Taylor had one twenty three
- 12:10Speaker 3: on the ground with twenty one carries in the touchdown,
- 12:12Speaker 3: and Jacobe Brissett was twenty seven to forty two three
- 12:15Speaker 3: twenty two touchdowns, one interception. Zay Jones led all receivers
- 12:18Speaker 3: with seventy nine yards on five receptions. The Cardinals have
- 12:20Speaker 3: lost four in a row after starting the season two
- 12:23Speaker 3: and oher.
- 12:24Speaker 2: They got to play the Packers on Sunday. Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I mean there's a possibility that all NFCUS teams other
- 12:29Speaker 1: than the Seahawks lose this week.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, which I would love.
- 12:32Speaker 1: To see Seahawks get a dub going into the bye
- 12:34Speaker 1: week in first place.
- 12:35Speaker 2: That's what we want to see. Bills shift our attention
- 12:37Speaker 2: back to these Houston Texans. Man up, Hey, who you got,
- 12:41Speaker 2: who you got? You know what time it is? Man up,
- 12:43Speaker 2: Man up, brother, man up man up on Hawk Talk,
- 12:48Speaker 2: just like we do every week. We're gonna start with
- 12:49Speaker 2: the quarterbacks.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Ce J Stroud, now in his third season after being
- 12:52Speaker 1: the number two overall pick in the twenty twenty three
- 12:54Speaker 1: draft from Ohio State. We know what he did, oh,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I say, put up crazy numbers, let the big ten yards, touchdowns,
- 12:59Speaker 1: had great seasons, got to the College Football Playoff, and
- 13:02Speaker 1: he's helped really turn around this Texas program. Obviously, in
- 13:05Speaker 1: addition with Demico Ryans. They were ten and thirty eight
- 13:07Speaker 1: the previous three seasons with him there, but now under
- 13:10Speaker 1: new leadership, back to back AFC's out championships, won a
- 13:13Speaker 1: playoff game in each of those years. Offensive Rookie the
- 13:16Speaker 1: Year in twenty twenty three, had a great year, made
- 13:17Speaker 1: the Pro Bowl through four over four thousand yards, twenty
- 13:20Speaker 1: three touchdowns, just five interceptions. Last year took a little
- 13:23Speaker 1: bit of set back thirty eight hundred yards or around
- 13:25Speaker 1: twenty touchdowns, twelve interceptions.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And so I wouldn't say he fell off.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Obviously, they're still playoff team, but he's kind of back
- 13:33Speaker 1: to play in that type of football after a rough
- 13:35Speaker 1: stretch started the year. Stroud won Offensive Player of the
- 13:37Speaker 1: Week for his performance against the Ravens, where he went
- 13:39Speaker 1: off two hundred and forty four yards, four touchdowns, zero
- 13:42Speaker 1: picks QB rating of one forty three point nine. He's
- 13:44Speaker 1: also had a career base eighty five percent completion percentage
- 13:48Speaker 1: against those Ravens. By the past two weeks, He's killing
- 13:50Speaker 1: the game four hundred and seventy seven yards, six touchdowns,
- 13:53Speaker 1: one thirty nine passer rating. He's won of four quarterbacks
- 13:55Speaker 1: in the NFL with an active streak of games, posting
- 13:57Speaker 1: and passer rating of one hundred and twenty higher thousand
- 14:01Speaker 1: yards on the year in one thousand, seventy six eight touchdowns,
- 14:03Speaker 1: three interceptions, has been sacked just twelve times. Texans are
- 14:06Speaker 1: the nineteenth best passing offense in the league. Seahawks has
- 14:10Speaker 1: some room to grow there. All statistically, you can't throw
- 14:12Speaker 1: the Buccaneers game out, but if you take that out,
- 14:14Speaker 1: this is much better pass defense.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But Bump Stroud's a good player, man.
- 14:17Speaker 1: He is definitely someone, as you've been saying, is throwing
- 14:19Speaker 1: dimes darts all over the field. He will definitely have
- 14:22Speaker 1: you know, Seahaws rid the work cutout for him.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a good ball player.
- 14:24Speaker 3: You got to put some pressure on It's only been
- 14:26Speaker 3: sacked twelve or fourteen times.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, mid when it comes to that number.
- 14:29Speaker 3: So yeah, Seahawks get after Let's talk about our quarterback
- 14:33Speaker 3: week after week.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Donald.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Let you know, look, I'm one of the best in
- 14:36Speaker 3: the game right now. There's no denying what he's doing.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I mean, he's coming off a great game against Jacksonville,
- 14:41Speaker 3: who was sixteen or twenty seven for two ninety five,
- 14:43Speaker 3: two touchdowns, zero interceptions, a QB rating of one twenty
- 14:47Speaker 3: one point seven per ESPN research. Sam Darnald a sixty
- 14:50Speaker 3: one yard touchdown the jssin travel forty nine yards beyond
- 14:54Speaker 3: the line of scrimmers the second most are yards and
- 14:56Speaker 3: the completion of his career. He's now seventeen or twenty
- 14:59Speaker 3: four and passes we're on twenty plus yards down the
- 15:01Speaker 3: field with two touchdowns no interceptions.
- 15:05Speaker 2: That kind of sums it up for you well.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And if that's not enough, bump. He is third in
- 15:09Speaker 1: the NFL and passing yards one in the NFL, and
- 15:11Speaker 1: pass in yards per pass temp at nine point six,
- 15:15Speaker 1: one in the NFL, in yards per completion at thirteen
- 15:17Speaker 1: point five third, and pass raty one sixteen seventh in
- 15:20Speaker 1: the NFL. Completes per percentage one in play action pass
- 15:23Speaker 1: yards in one, passing, touchdowns under seven or with seven.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Darnold right now he is in MVP conversation. He is.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's gonna be there the whole year,
- 15:31Speaker 1: but you can't deny those numbers and what he's doing
- 15:33Speaker 1: for this football team.
- 15:34Speaker 2: No, not at all.
- 15:35Speaker 3: B Walt tried to tell me he did, and I
- 15:37Speaker 3: didn't listen. I said he was knocking on the door.
- 15:39Speaker 3: The door's open. He's walking in, having a seat at
- 15:41Speaker 3: the table with the best in the game. On the year,
- 15:43Speaker 3: fifteen hundred yards, eleven touchdowns, three interceptions.
- 15:46Speaker 2: He's been sacked seven times on the season.
- 15:48Speaker 3: The Texts are fourth in total defense, allowing two to
- 15:50Speaker 3: sixty five per game. They're fifth against the pass, and
- 15:54Speaker 3: they are first when it comes to allowing the opts
- 15:56Speaker 3: to score, only given up twelve points per game.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be be I mean, this is definitely
- 16:02Speaker 1: a tough task, but week after week, the Seahawks keep
- 16:05Speaker 1: playing good defenses and they keep finding ways to put
- 16:07Speaker 1: up numbers in points.
- 16:08Speaker 2: So we'll see what happens there. Ben you flip it
- 16:10Speaker 2: over Nick Chubb.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Seahawks front seven obviously they're not they're without mixing, you
- 16:15Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But Chubb eighth NFL season, first
- 16:18Speaker 1: year in Houston, he's had an interesting you know, interesting
- 16:22Speaker 1: not the right word.
- 16:22Speaker 2: It's been tough for him.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:23Speaker 2: He started his career obviously, four Pro Bowls.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Twenty nineteen, twenty twenty two, rush for over one thousand
- 16:28Speaker 1: yards every season, with a high fifteen hundred yards and
- 16:31Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. But then Week two of twenty three
- 16:34Speaker 1: devastating knee injury, damage of meniscus, the capsule in there,
- 16:37Speaker 1: the MCL, everything in there was all kinds of jacked up.
- 16:39Speaker 1: He missed the rush of that year and didn't return
- 16:41Speaker 1: to Week seven of last season. But he was not
- 16:43Speaker 1: himself he had previously. You know, he'd also torn up
- 16:47Speaker 1: that knee in college when he and when he came back,
- 16:49Speaker 1: career level three point three yards per carry, rush for
- 16:52Speaker 1: just three hundred and thirty two yards on one hundred
- 16:55Speaker 1: and two carries and two touchdowns. But he's a thirty
- 16:58Speaker 1: year old running back. Obviously, that's when running actual usually
- 17:00Speaker 1: get aged out of this league. But he's doing okay
- 17:02Speaker 1: so far this year. A bum in fifty eight carries,
- 17:04Speaker 1: two hundred and forty nine yards two touchdowns against Tennessee.
- 17:07Speaker 1: He eclipsed the seven thousand career rushing yards list, seventh
- 17:10Speaker 1: active running back in the NFL to reach that milestone.
- 17:13Speaker 1: But this is what the Seahawks do best, and they've
- 17:14Speaker 1: proven a week after week after week. There's number two
- 17:16Speaker 1: in the NFL and rush defense, and you know the
- 17:19Speaker 1: Jacksonville for a great example. Etn comes in there, fourth
- 17:22Speaker 1: in the league and rushing attack. He gets complete shut down.
- 17:25Speaker 1: You look at through Kamar McCaffrey, all these top running
- 17:28Speaker 1: backs that come in here and to get shut down.
- 17:30Speaker 2: The Seahawks are playing great football and I.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Expect nothing less for them this Sunday, Yes, starts with
- 17:34Speaker 3: those those those big boys in the trenches.
- 17:37Speaker 2: All right, Let's look at their their wide outs.
- 17:38Speaker 3: He's got Nico Collins and Christian Kirk who against the
- 17:43Speaker 3: Seahawks seconds there. So Nico, he's a fifth year after
- 17:46Speaker 3: being third round picking the Texans, and twenty twenty one Collins.
- 17:49Speaker 2: He's become a number one receiver in this league.
- 17:51Speaker 3: After having foign to plus receiving yards his first two seasons,
- 17:53Speaker 3: Collins he took off in twenty twenty three. That's a
- 17:56Speaker 3: season he had career highs in receptions with eighty yards
- 17:59Speaker 3: with twelve ninety seven the touchdowns with eight. The same
- 18:02Speaker 3: year strou was drafted. Correlation, Get Joe quarterback, you might
- 18:06Speaker 3: be able to ball a little bit. Since twenty twenty three,
- 18:08Speaker 3: Nico Collins has averaged eighty one point seven yards per game,
- 18:11Speaker 3: tie for six most in the NFL through that spam
- 18:13Speaker 3: and second most in the AFC. Since twenty twenty three,
- 18:16Speaker 3: Collins is tied for the most receptions of fifty plus
- 18:19Speaker 3: yards with eight of them.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Things. You let him get loose, let him get behind you,
- 18:22Speaker 2: he will make some plays.
- 18:23Speaker 3: During that same timeframe, Collins has accumulated the third most
- 18:27Speaker 3: fifty plus yard touchdown receptions with four This year twenty
- 18:30Speaker 3: two catches, three hundred and twelve yards, three touchdowns.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a deep threat. You gotta keep in front.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's we're talking Kobe Bryant, We're talking
- 18:37Speaker 1: Tya Katta, We're talking you know, if Julian Love is
- 18:40Speaker 1: back out there, he's the guy that you can't get
- 18:42Speaker 1: but behind you in the secondary because he will absolutely
- 18:44Speaker 1: make you pay. Now, I put Christian Kirk on your
- 18:46Speaker 1: bump Statistically, he's our fifth leading receiver. They got four
- 18:49Speaker 1: players on the team with a hundre between hundred nine
- 18:51Speaker 1: hundred and eighty six yard receiving. But like coming this year,
- 18:53Speaker 1: he's the real second option. He's been in this league
- 18:55Speaker 1: a long time. Been his first fourth season with the Cardinals.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Then sign a huge contractor remember.
- 19:00Speaker 3: The reason why receivers are getting paid today, So big upsim.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I guess, yes, no, he did this thing, and whether
- 19:05Speaker 3: he lived up to that or not is a different conversation.
- 19:07Speaker 2: But that first year.
- 19:08Speaker 1: He did have his best season in the NFL in
- 19:10Speaker 1: twenty twenty two with the Jags, his only one thousand
- 19:12Speaker 1: yard season of his career.
- 19:13Speaker 2: He also had eight touchdowns.
- 19:14Speaker 1: His production dipped a little bit in twenty three and
- 19:17Speaker 1: then had a season ended after eight games when he
- 19:18Speaker 1: broke his collarbone last year, but when he's healthy, he's
- 19:21Speaker 1: definitely their number two option, big playability. He started this
- 19:24Speaker 1: year he had a hamstring strain, so that's part why
- 19:26Speaker 1: his numbers are down. He missed the first two games,
- 19:28Speaker 1: been working his way back into it. Three games this year,
- 19:31Speaker 1: ten receptions, one hundred nine yards, and if you remember too,
- 19:34Speaker 1: they also had tanked Del disgusting injury.
- 19:36Speaker 2: My goodness, big ups M.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Hopefully his recovery is going well, but yeah, no, these
- 19:40Speaker 1: two guys are ones that can hurt you in the
- 19:42Speaker 1: Seahawk secondary.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Who's been dinged up.
- 19:44Speaker 1: We'll see who plays on Sunday, But those are guys
- 19:46Speaker 1: that you definitely got to look out for.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and let's talk about our receivers JSN and Cooper
- 19:51Speaker 3: Cup against Stingley, who's arguably the best dB in the
- 19:55Speaker 3: game right now, yep, and the tech and secondary. JSN
- 19:59Speaker 3: did what he does. He had eight receptions for one
- 20:00Speaker 3: sixty two one touchdown. Against Jacksonville. He had a sixty
- 20:03Speaker 3: one yard reception, which is the longest of his career.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Sunday was his fourth one hundred yard game of the season.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Before this year, he had three games of one hundred yards.
- 20:12Speaker 3: My man is a number one receiver. His one hundred
- 20:14Speaker 3: and sixty two yards is the second most in his career.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I believe it was against the Rams last year. He
- 20:19Speaker 3: bawled out when what DK was out. Jason has at
- 20:22Speaker 3: least thirty six has at least a thirty six yard
- 20:24Speaker 3: reception in every game this season. He now leads the
- 20:27Speaker 3: NFL with six hundred and ninety six yards. Those six
- 20:29Speaker 3: hundred nine six yards are the most in any six
- 20:32Speaker 3: game span in Seahawks history. According to ESPN, He's had
- 20:35Speaker 3: at least seventy nine yards in every game this year.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Okod's that's all right. You do.
- 20:41Speaker 1: What Jay said is doing right now is unbelievable. He
- 20:43Speaker 1: needs one hundred yards become the second player in franchise
- 20:46Speaker 1: history to record three consecutive hundred yard receiving games. He
- 20:49Speaker 1: should have had it. It was like three or four
- 20:51Speaker 1: yards shorter this year, and he's balling out. He's about
- 20:53Speaker 1: to do it again. He needs one hundred yards to
- 20:54Speaker 1: tie six players for second place in franchise history with
- 20:57Speaker 1: five hundred yard receiving games in a single season in
- 20:59Speaker 1: twelve receptions, to pass DK for most receptions in a
- 21:02Speaker 1: player's first three season franchise history with two hundred and seventeen.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I think it's safe to say he's going to get that. Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 2: hes probably gonna get there.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Like I mentioned, four two catches, six ninety six three touchdowns,
- 21:12Speaker 3: and then Cooper Cup is doing exactly what I thought
- 21:15Speaker 3: he would do for this ball club. We don't need
- 21:17Speaker 3: eighteen hundred yards out of ye Cooper Cup. You be
- 21:19Speaker 3: the mentor and you be consistent, and that's exactly what
- 21:23Speaker 3: he's been. He has twenty three receptions on thirty two
- 21:25Speaker 3: targets for two sixty one. He caught his first touchdown
- 21:27Speaker 3: as a seahaug last week and was as well eclipsed
- 21:30Speaker 3: the eight thousand yard career receiving yards list. The Texans
- 21:34Speaker 3: are fit against the pass, allowing one hundred and seventy
- 21:36Speaker 3: five yards per game.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you're exactly right. I think he's doing everything
- 21:39Speaker 2: you need to do. He has.
- 21:41Speaker 1: They're obviously not to take anything away from JSM because
- 21:44Speaker 1: he was going to be a number one type receiver
- 21:46Speaker 1: and balling out, but having Cup in that room has
- 21:50Speaker 1: been a big thing for him.
- 21:51Speaker 2: He's talked about it.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Both those two bounces and ideas off each other, which
- 21:54Speaker 1: is great. But they're gonna have their hands full this week.
- 21:55Speaker 2: You mentioned it.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Derek Singland Junior one of the best corners in the
- 21:58Speaker 1: game right now. He's in his fourth season after being
- 22:01Speaker 1: the third overall pick at LSU in the twenty twenty
- 22:03Speaker 1: two draft. Everyone was talking about sauce. It's all about
- 22:06Speaker 1: sauce for a little bit. Not the sauce is playing bad,
- 22:09Speaker 1: but we haven't been hearing about him as much. Now
- 22:10Speaker 1: we're hearing about this guy. Drestineley for sure, really came
- 22:13Speaker 1: into his own last season for the first time. He
- 22:14Speaker 1: started all seventeen games, fifty four tackles for TFLs, eighteen
- 22:18Speaker 1: passes defended, five interceptions, pro bowler in first team All Pro.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Now he's, you know, battling an oblique injury, but he
- 22:26Speaker 1: hasn't really missed any time this year, and he should
- 22:28Speaker 1: be a little bit rested coming off the bye week.
- 22:30Speaker 1: This is one we haven't had one of these in
- 22:32Speaker 1: a little bit, like a straight up get your popcorn
- 22:34Speaker 1: ready for a lot of years on this show we
- 22:35Speaker 1: talked about anytime we play the rams and and Ramsey.
- 22:39Speaker 1: This is one of those. So I'm interested to see
- 22:41Speaker 1: how they how they approach this. What is he gonna do?
- 22:44Speaker 1: Is there even follow the JSN? Is there me anything
- 22:46Speaker 1: they do there? But that's gonna be one that definitely
- 22:48Speaker 1: should circle and be watching on Monday.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Night, Dingley.
- 22:50Speaker 3: The reason why DB's are getting paid too, you know
- 22:53Speaker 3: this Texans just to pay their guys. Yes, well, I
- 22:56Speaker 3: guess the Texts did pay Chris and Kirk, but they
- 22:58Speaker 3: got him.
- 22:59Speaker 2: You know, yeah, all right, so let's look at Will Anderson.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Is Danielle Hunter, right, Daniel Daniel, I think, okay, we'll
- 23:05Speaker 3: go Danielle. I think it's Danil all right, all right,
- 23:07Speaker 3: and we'll go. Asi's al shair against everybody. This defense
- 23:12Speaker 3: is top five and almost every major statistical category. Why
- 23:15Speaker 3: is that they got some dogs on outside of the ball.
- 23:17Speaker 3: You start with Alabama standout Will Anderson. He's been really
- 23:21Speaker 3: disrupted this season. According Next Gen Stats, Anderson averages five
- 23:24Speaker 3: point two pressures per game this season, which is fourth
- 23:27Speaker 3: in the NFL. He also recorded ten pressures in fifty
- 23:30Speaker 3: four snaps against Tampa Bay that is the second most
- 23:33Speaker 3: in a game this season. So far this year, seventeen tackles,
- 23:36Speaker 3: three secks, six TFLs, and six quarterback hits.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Yeah, no, he's a baller. He's an absolute baller. And
- 23:40Speaker 1: he's got this big brace on his elbow. He just
- 23:43Speaker 1: looks like a dog out there and he backs it up.
- 23:45Speaker 1: And then Danil Hunter is another guy having a great season.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Five time pro bowler, he's done his thing. Spent his
- 23:50Speaker 1: first eight years in Minnesota before coming to Houston last year.
- 23:53Speaker 1: He had twelve sacks last year seventeen TFLs, twenty three
- 23:55Speaker 1: quarterback hits through five games. This year, he's off to
- 23:58Speaker 1: another great start. Twelve tackles Leeds team four TfL's five
- 24:02Speaker 1: QB hits.
- 24:04Speaker 3: These guys can play. And now I didn't even talk
- 24:06Speaker 3: about this third guy yet. As he's I'm watching him
- 24:09Speaker 3: on film NOWS and he's like a bullet just getting downhill,
- 24:12Speaker 3: getting after these guys. He's a playmaker, he's a leading tackler,
- 24:16Speaker 3: he's a physical player. He's always around the football. He
- 24:19Speaker 3: came on the far a little bit with big hits
- 24:21Speaker 3: in his career, and that's hard.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I was talking to Dave Whinman about this.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so hard to play defense in today's NFL,
- 24:26Speaker 3: and these guys have to make split decisions, you know,
- 24:29Speaker 3: while there on the football field. And he's he's been
- 24:31Speaker 3: a I wanna call him a victim. He's been a
- 24:33Speaker 3: recipient of a few questionable calls. But you don't want
- 24:37Speaker 3: to take that aggressiveness from him if you are the
- 24:39Speaker 3: Texas DC.
- 24:39Speaker 2: No, I mean, I think they felt a little differently
- 24:41Speaker 2: about that.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Jacksonville, Trevor Lawrence, you get to get his three game
- 24:44Speaker 1: suspender for that he's also finding seventeen thousand for a
- 24:46Speaker 1: hit on Cam Morard earlier this month. But there's no
- 24:50Speaker 1: uh huh. He's an absolute monster. There's no whether you
- 24:55Speaker 1: think some of these hits are clean or not. When
- 24:56Speaker 1: you watch him on the field. Almost I didn't even
- 24:58Speaker 1: have words for it, because he's everywhere in the field.
- 25:00Speaker 1: He's a great linebacker. So much so I've been reading,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you know, different articles out there that the Niners after
- 25:05Speaker 1: Fred Warner went down, people were like, we need to
- 25:07Speaker 1: go get this guy.
- 25:07Speaker 2: They need to do whatever they can to get this guy.
- 25:09Speaker 2: But he's playing good ball.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Thirty two tackles, one quarterback, hit, one forming, three passes
- 25:13Speaker 1: defended bump. They got someone at every level that can
- 25:16Speaker 1: kind of that can that can hurt you over there
- 25:18Speaker 1: for sure, so's it's definitely gonna.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Be don't sleep on these Texans for real. They got
- 25:23Speaker 3: some ball was over there.
- 25:25Speaker 1: But big opportunity, national audience. We're gonnaell you' Seahawks can
- 25:28Speaker 1: get this done. Path of victory.
- 25:31Speaker 3: After forty five waits for the staff, Michael Dixon puts
- 25:35Speaker 3: it down.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That kick is away. If that kick is gone to
- 25:39Speaker 2: day off, when it's gun, it's a path to victory.
- 25:42Speaker 1: On Hawk Talk, the Seahawks they could still be without
- 25:45Speaker 1: some big guns on defense, but we're gonna wait and
- 25:47Speaker 1: see it and take it all the way up to
- 25:48Speaker 1: Monday night, of course. But I want them to build
- 25:50Speaker 1: off a big performance in Jacksonville, and that starts upfront,
- 25:53Speaker 1: getting after c. J.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Stroud.
- 25:54Speaker 1: This defensive line went absolutely nuts. Bump seventeen quarterback hits
- 25:59Speaker 1: seven sacks to a team that didn't give up a
- 26:01Speaker 1: lot of sacks.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Strout. He makes this offense go and they got to
- 26:05Speaker 2: make it a long day for him.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Long day, make him make some bad decisions. Stroud's been
- 26:09Speaker 3: pretty good with the football, so we got to do that.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Stop the run. Chubb can't go off. Now he's a
- 26:16Speaker 3: he's still got some juice to him.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It's not even mean disrespectful. I'm just saying, yeah, you're yeah,
- 26:21Speaker 2: he's still got some juice to him.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Yes he's thirty, Yes he's had some bad injuries, but
- 26:24Speaker 3: he's running confidently. You are the number two rush defense
- 26:27Speaker 3: in this league. You gotta back it up and then
- 26:30Speaker 3: keep guys in front. We talk about Nico Collins and
- 26:32Speaker 3: his deep ball threats. You got Christian Kirk over there,
- 26:34Speaker 3: who's fastest hecked as well. This has been a struggle
- 26:38Speaker 3: for a couple of reasons or for a couple of weeks,
- 26:40Speaker 3: but they got it him.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Just keep everything in front of you without question. Then
- 26:44Speaker 1: you flipp the offense side of the ball. Find a
- 26:46Speaker 1: way to be better on third down. I think that's
- 26:47Speaker 1: the one nitpicky thing we can get on him. For
- 26:49Speaker 1: one to twelve is not good enough. They gotta stay
- 26:51Speaker 1: on the field. But again you supplement that with big
- 26:53Speaker 1: plays to Jsen and Darnold. The production between those who's
- 26:57Speaker 1: unreal best connection in the league.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Big part of this. Definitely got to keep it rolling. Yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 2: and protect your quarterback.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Only seven secs allowed on the whole season and a
- 27:06Speaker 3: Bucal those came in one game four.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so it is protect your quarterback.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Let him do what he does the best in the
- 27:12Speaker 3: play action game, the best on the football down the field,
- 27:15Speaker 3: the best when it comes on target throws.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Allow him to be great.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Now, this is like you said, don't sleep on in Texans.
- 27:20Speaker 1: This is gonna be a tough physical matchup, absolutely, but
- 27:23Speaker 1: you got some a big opportunity in from national audience.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Like I said, they can get this done on primetime
- 27:27Speaker 1: on Monday Night Football. They will go into the bye week,
- 27:30Speaker 1: get a lot of guys back, Robert Ootz will come off,
- 27:32Speaker 1: fire all that stuff, and they'll be five and two,
- 27:34Speaker 1: hopefully on top of the NFC West. Reminder, gears everywhere, YouTube,
- 27:39Speaker 1: set com on, Apple, podcast, Spotify, Amazon Music in series
- 27:42Speaker 1: x M. And but before we before you get out
- 27:45Speaker 1: of here, my buddy sent me a comment. Someone commented
- 27:49Speaker 1: on this podcast and they said, I like Nasa as
- 27:52Speaker 1: a host, but he needs to get a haircut. Let
- 27:55Speaker 1: me tell you something. I got two young kids. I know,
- 27:58Speaker 1: my lineups all jacked up. I understand in that I
- 28:00Speaker 1: can't get a haircut to the bye week. My barber's busy.
- 28:02Speaker 1: He's out Auburn, you.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Know, busy man. Hey do you dog? Do you?
- 28:07Speaker 1: I was rolling up, I was they were clowning me.
