- 0:01Speaker 1: Tell me.
- 0:03Speaker 2: I had to explain to Liam, my eight year old,
- 0:08Speaker 2: that sometimes kids just lie to sound cool. Uh seven
- 0:14Speaker 2: on one two eight on one nine eight seven What
- 0:16Speaker 2: lies did you tell when you're younger to seem cool
- 0:20Speaker 2: at school?
- 0:21Speaker 3: Liam told me.
- 0:22Speaker 2: That a friend of his goes to school every single
- 0:26Speaker 2: day in.
- 0:26Speaker 3: A hot air ballue.
- 0:27Speaker 4: I love this.
- 0:28Speaker 5: That is the that is a Gabe Glitten story as
- 0:31Speaker 5: not an eight year old student. That is a Gabe
- 0:33Speaker 5: Glitden story as a thirty five year old adult.
- 0:36Speaker 4: That's something I would say.
- 0:37Speaker 3: I mean, I had to tell him, oh, honey, no,
- 0:40Speaker 3: he does it.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Yeah, that's so ridiculous that I love it.
- 0:43Speaker 3: But he was so shook. He said, what do you mean?
- 0:46Speaker 3: Of course he does, he told.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Me, and I had to let him know, no, baby,
- 0:52Speaker 2: sometimes kids just lie because they want to seem cool. Yeah,
- 0:58Speaker 2: And so he's very disappointed and then asked me, what's
- 1:01Speaker 2: a lie that I said to sound cool in school?
- 1:06Speaker 3: And I told him this story, and I'm going to
- 1:08Speaker 3: share it with you. When I was in fourth grade,
- 1:11Speaker 3: this is so embarrassing.
- 1:13Speaker 2: When I was I almost don't even want to say it.
- 1:16Speaker 3: When I was in fourth.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Grade, I had discovered swearing and I thought saying curse
- 1:24Speaker 2: words was so cool.
- 1:26Speaker 4: So cool and so edgy.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah, oh gosh, so embarrassing. I mean I was in
- 1:33Speaker 2: fourth grade. I think that's nine years old. Whatever the
- 1:36Speaker 2: point is. I was swearing left and right, and then
- 1:40Speaker 2: I had the brilliant idea to say to my best
- 1:44Speaker 2: friend at the time, Kelly.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I said, it's okay. I can't even say that, it's okay.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I'm wowed to swear because I'm Cuban and part of
- 1:54Speaker 2: Cuban culture is that we're allowed to express ourselves.
- 1:59Speaker 3: With swear words, even if we're kids.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I love this.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Why did I come up with that?
- 2:05Speaker 4: That's great?
- 2:05Speaker 2: So then I was cursing up a storm and we
- 2:07Speaker 2: were in a group of us and I was just
- 2:11Speaker 2: this f for that, and my peers looked shook.
- 2:14Speaker 3: And then my dear sweet friend Kelly, I love her.
- 2:18Speaker 3: She goes, no, no, no, it's okay. It's part of
- 2:20Speaker 3: her culture. Like she really bagged me up.
- 2:23Speaker 4: I love that.
- 2:24Speaker 3: She was right, or die for you if you ride
- 2:27Speaker 3: or die? Yes.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So embarrassing and absolutely that's not part of Cuban culture.
- 2:32Speaker 3: To this day, I don't swear in front of my mom.
- 2:35Speaker 2: She would slap me, And that was the lie that
- 2:39Speaker 2: I told in elementary school to look cool. And when
- 2:42Speaker 2: I told Liam miss, he said, that's not a very
- 2:45Speaker 2: good lie, and he's correct.
- 2:48Speaker 5: Seven oh one two eight zero one, nine eighty seven.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Do you have a silly lie you told when you
- 2:53Speaker 5: were younger that you want to get off your chest?
- 2:55Speaker 5: Do you want to fess up to today? Maybe there's
- 2:57Speaker 5: a certain friend you had when you were younger that
- 2:59Speaker 5: you told a little white lie too, and it's been
- 3:02Speaker 5: eating you alive all these years.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Like our dear.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Angie, celebrating life's little victories every morning, we practice gratitude
- 3:15Speaker 6: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:16Speaker 4: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:19Speaker 4: basket job, bust it out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:22Speaker 7: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:25Speaker 7: two one eight.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Seven, kids, I also needed to win that day all right.
- 3:31Speaker 5: First and foremost, a big shout out to Amanda. Amanda's
- 3:34Speaker 5: little victory is something I feel like a lot of
- 3:35Speaker 5: people can relate to. There's nothing better than when you
- 3:39Speaker 5: wash a pair of jeans, pull them out the dryer,
- 3:43Speaker 5: and a miracle of all miracles, they still fit.
- 3:45Speaker 4: That's what she said.
- 3:47Speaker 5: She pulled a pair of jeans out of the dryer.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Miracle of all miracles, they still fit. Way to go, Amanda, congratulations.
- 3:54Speaker 5: That's such a good little victory.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Especially during the holidays when we been eating all yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 3: one hundred percent.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Do you have a little victory today, Angie, Well, kind.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Of opposite of that, because this is a food related one.
- 4:07Speaker 2: The weather is weathering and so it was the perfect
- 4:11Speaker 2: time for chili, so Mike made some homemade chili. But
- 4:17Speaker 2: the little victory is that I made homemade corn muffins
- 4:23Speaker 2: to a company the Chili Okay, and they turned out
- 4:27Speaker 2: so perfectly that this morning, when Mikey was driving me
- 4:30Speaker 2: to work, he said.
- 4:32Speaker 3: You really knocked it out of the park with those
- 4:34Speaker 3: corn muffins.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I've been craving them since I woke up, So I
- 4:37Speaker 2: feel really, really proud. I'm not the best in the kitchen,
- 4:41Speaker 2: but I really.
- 4:41Speaker 4: It sounds like you're a regular Martha Stewart here.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Well, you know what, one of the things about being
- 4:46Speaker 3: vegan is that you have to learn to make things
- 4:48Speaker 3: from scratch. So the corn muffins, they really turned out.
- 4:52Speaker 2: The only bummer part is that I know they'll be
- 4:54Speaker 2: gone by the time I get home, so.
- 4:56Speaker 4: You won't get to enjoy as many of them.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I mean, but I had like two and a half
- 5:00Speaker 2: last night, so I'm probably good on corn.
- 5:03Speaker 5: I bet you could send a text today saying, hey,
- 5:05Speaker 5: can you leave the other half of that corn muffins?
- 5:08Speaker 3: I've been met, Mike kis fair, fairpoint, You're.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Right, You're right, all right, my little victory. I could
- 5:14Speaker 5: not be more thrilled. Okay, I have been trying for Honestly,
- 5:20Speaker 5: it's probably been weeks, maybe not that long, but I've
- 5:23Speaker 5: been trying to find it feels like it, to find
- 5:25Speaker 5: some distilled water at the grocery store for my dang humidifiers.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Okay, we have two in our house.
- 5:34Speaker 5: One in our room, one in our living room. I,
- 5:37Speaker 5: for whatever reason my entire life, am just prone to
- 5:40Speaker 5: bloody noses when I am just sucking in dry air
- 5:44Speaker 5: left and right from a heater, like I'll just fall
- 5:47Speaker 5: asleep and wake up and be like, oh, well I
- 5:49Speaker 5: had a bloody nose last night.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Like they I just catch down. Yeah, I just get
- 5:54Speaker 4: them all the time.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Well, what has helped that over the years is what
- 5:58Speaker 5: I found out is a humid fire, right and so on.
- 6:01Speaker 5: The humidifier instructions, they always say use distilled water. I
- 6:06Speaker 5: don't use the stuff from the tap. You obviously can,
- 6:09Speaker 5: but it can just kind of dirty them in whatever. Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 5: And I went to the store yesterday and they finally
- 6:16Speaker 5: had some distilled water in there, and I know what
- 6:19Speaker 5: it's like to go there thinking I'll grab me a
- 6:22Speaker 5: couple jugs, bring it home, and I'll be able to
- 6:24Speaker 5: breathe clear, because yesterday I remember I was like, am
- 6:26Speaker 5: I getting sick?
- 6:27Speaker 4: Like what is the problem?
- 6:29Speaker 5: And I could not feel much better today, sleeping with
- 6:32Speaker 5: a couple humidifiers on. But I go and there was
- 6:37Speaker 5: a good jillion of them, which I'm sad because the
- 6:40Speaker 5: next time I go, they'll be all gone. And I
- 6:42Speaker 5: didn't want to be the person who goes there and
- 6:44Speaker 5: leaves with like fifteen of them, Like I could have
- 6:47Speaker 5: bought fifteen to twenty of them, but I know exactly,
- 6:50Speaker 5: so I tried to do what was fair and I
- 6:53Speaker 5: got four.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Okay, so not too bad.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Yeah, And so I had been breathing free for the
- 6:59Speaker 5: past twenty four hours.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I feel like a new man.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Well, I'm very glad that we're not going to be
- 7:03Speaker 2: witnessing a big.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Old nose bleed at times. Soon in the studio.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Married Christophers.
- 7:15Speaker 6: This is Santa Claus, and you have reached my personal hotline.
- 7:22Speaker 8: When at klad and a Biby house and a house
- 7:32Speaker 8: was Biby and I think I want much Jack in
- 7:40Speaker 8: the book, thank.
- 7:41Speaker 3: You and not here. Oh that is so sweet. She's
- 7:45Speaker 3: obviously on the nice list.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I love this girl. She wants a Barbie house
- 7:49Speaker 5: and a house for Barbie. Okay, she wants to make
- 7:51Speaker 5: sure they are housed. She needs two spots. That's right, Eric,
- 7:55Speaker 5: I love that. That is so cool and obviously so cute.
- 8:01Speaker 4: This is am I the problem?
- 8:04Speaker 3: It's me, Hi own the problem.
- 8:08Speaker 7: It's me. We'll hear one side of the story and
- 8:10Speaker 7: with your help, am I the problem? Decide if it's
- 8:13Speaker 7: right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 8:16Speaker 9: I'm hardly the problem.
- 8:17Speaker 3: On Big ninety eight point seven, Morgan wrote into us,
- 8:22Speaker 3: good morning, Gab and Angie.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Hope you're enjoying all the snow. I need to know
- 8:27Speaker 2: if I'm the problem. This is the third Christmas since
- 8:30Speaker 2: my ex and I got divorced, but this is the
- 8:33Speaker 2: first year he's living in California after moving for work.
- 8:36Speaker 2: The kids stay with me this year. But he is
- 8:39Speaker 2: sending gifts. He let me know he sent them directly
- 8:42Speaker 2: to my address from Amazon, and if I could wrap them.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I told him he should have had them delivered to
- 8:49Speaker 2: his house, wrapped them, and then sent He left me
- 8:53Speaker 2: on red. My boyfriend thinks I actually owe my ex
- 8:57Speaker 2: an apology. He said I was starting to draw for
- 9:00Speaker 2: no reason when I should be glad he's sending gifts
- 9:03Speaker 2: in general, and since it's for the kids, it's not
- 9:05Speaker 2: a big.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Deal for us to wrap them. What do you think,
- 9:10Speaker 3: oh man. So as much as I love being petty,
- 9:16Speaker 3: it's my favorite thing in the world. Being petty is
- 9:19Speaker 3: so funny to me.
- 9:20Speaker 2: However, when it comes to this, honestly, Morgan, I think
- 9:25Speaker 2: that you are the problem, and I think your boyfriend
- 9:28Speaker 2: is right, because that's just extra work for no reason
- 9:34Speaker 2: to have them sent to his house, then he wraps them,
- 9:37Speaker 2: then he has to ship them. Especially if this man
- 9:40Speaker 2: has Amazon Prime, that shipping was free, So if he
- 9:44Speaker 2: has to have them shipped to his house first and
- 9:47Speaker 2: then he wraps them, and then he has to pay
- 9:49Speaker 2: to send them off, that's just spending money for no reason.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Unless that's what you wanted, Morgan.
- 9:56Speaker 2: You wanted your ex to have to I guess I
- 9:59Speaker 2: also want to know, like how on how good.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Of terms are they after the split? But I think
- 10:05Speaker 3: that that's overkill.
- 10:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 5: I think out of all of the drama that can
- 10:11Speaker 5: happen between maybe a split household and maybe your split
- 10:14Speaker 5: household is great, you have a great relationship, you know,
- 10:17Speaker 5: you just focus on the parenting and that's awesome. I
- 10:20Speaker 5: feel like we are making a little bit of a
- 10:21Speaker 5: mountain out of a mole hill here, because not only
- 10:25Speaker 5: a as Angie said, there's extra money there, but what
- 10:29Speaker 5: if for whatever reason, they're delayed now and then they
- 10:32Speaker 5: don't get them for Christmas?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you have.
- 10:35Speaker 5: To wait for them to get to your house and
- 10:37Speaker 5: then wrap them and then get them shipped off. I
- 10:39Speaker 5: feel like you're just kind of playing with fire there
- 10:42Speaker 5: instead of just sending it directly. Is it maybe annoying
- 10:46Speaker 5: that you have to wrap them?
- 10:47Speaker 7: Like?
- 10:47Speaker 4: Maybe?
- 10:48Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 10:48Speaker 5: But you know, I think at the very least, as
- 10:52Speaker 5: far as a time constriction, you never know about shipping.
- 10:56Speaker 5: If you order something from Amazon, I'm pretty positive right
- 10:59Speaker 5: now it'll say it'll get here anywhere between like the
- 11:01Speaker 5: twelfth and the twenty fourth.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred percent What do you think seven oh
- 11:05Speaker 2: one two eight oho one to nine eight seven, especially
- 11:08Speaker 2: if you've been in a similar situation where you're you're
- 11:11Speaker 2: split for the holidays.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Have you been in this situation? What do you think?
- 11:16Speaker 2: Is Morgan wrong or is she totally justified in thinking, Hey,
- 11:21Speaker 2: dad should be wrapping these gifts himself.
- 11:24Speaker 9: Big ninety eight pointed.
- 11:28Speaker 4: And it's big ninety eight point seven. Who's this?
- 11:30Speaker 9: That's his neck from New York Mouth.
- 11:31Speaker 4: What do you think who's the problem here?
- 11:33Speaker 9: Well? I think it's one hundred percent, no doubt, the
- 11:36Speaker 9: ex wife's problem.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Oh you're agreeing with the boyfriend, all right?
- 11:39Speaker 9: The reason being, she needs a perspective check. She needs
- 11:42Speaker 9: to understand that she needs to be extremely fortunate that
- 11:45Speaker 9: she's got a good enough relationship with the husband ex
- 11:47Speaker 9: husband that he's willing to send the kids nice presence.
- 11:51Speaker 5: All right, Nick, We appreciate the call. I he you
- 11:53Speaker 5: know that is sad, but it is true.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Morgan wrote into us. She wanted to know she was
- 11:58Speaker 2: the problem. She and her they live in different states.
- 12:02Speaker 2: The dad is sending gifts for the kids, but he
- 12:04Speaker 2: sent them directly to her house from Amazon.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Asked if she could wrap the gifts for him.
- 12:10Speaker 2: She told him he should have had the gifts shipped
- 12:13Speaker 2: to his house and he should have wrapped them because
- 12:17Speaker 2: that's just how it should have been. And her boyfriend said, actually,
- 12:22Speaker 2: you're starting drama for no reason. You should be glad
- 12:24Speaker 2: that he's sending gifts at all, And clearly Nick agrees.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I do like this, Derek texted us, as a father
- 12:32Speaker 2: in a similar situation, I think dad is the problem.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I always wrap my kids' gifts, even when I have
- 12:39Speaker 2: to send them out. It's a personal touch and lets
- 12:42Speaker 2: them know I care.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's kind of interesting. This is very divisive.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I think we're seeing. This is one of the most
- 12:48Speaker 5: split we've seen because ah Ashley had said on Facebook
- 12:53Speaker 5: that you know, you could have him send the wrapping
- 12:57Speaker 5: paper or get him professionally wrapped in this Yeah.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Here it is.
- 13:00Speaker 2: She said, it depends on how many gifts you have
- 13:02Speaker 2: to rap. If it's one or two per child, that's fine,
- 13:06Speaker 2: But if there's a ton of gifts the need to
- 13:08Speaker 2: be that need to be wrapped, that's a lot of
- 13:11Speaker 2: time that it takes take it to a place to
- 13:13Speaker 2: have them professionally wrapped and send him the bill, which
- 13:16Speaker 2: is in go ahead.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Sorry no, because I didn't think of that. Oh how
- 13:20Speaker 3: many presents is it?
- 13:21Speaker 5: Well, I didn't think of that either, And it's also
- 13:23Speaker 5: interesting Ashley says that, and then Alicia says, you know,
- 13:26Speaker 5: FedEx ups usps, they actually prefer not to wrap them
- 13:31Speaker 5: because they can get torn or ruined in the shipping process. Well,
- 13:35Speaker 5: there's also that factor into this whole thing.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I really thought it was going to be a landslide
- 13:40Speaker 3: that Morgan was the problem, but it's pretty split.
- 13:44Speaker 5: And we did get a text from someone who said
- 13:46Speaker 5: she's the problem. I don't have this person's name, but
- 13:49Speaker 5: they said, all your points hit on the nose. Delay
- 13:51Speaker 5: shipping to where the kids can't get presents on Christmas?
- 13:54Speaker 5: What if the rapping gets damaged and transit and it's
- 13:57Speaker 5: pointless to do so anyway, sounds like she's just being
- 13:59Speaker 5: really petty, and personally, I'd be pretty peeved if my
- 14:04Speaker 5: lady was acting like that towards an x trying to
- 14:07Speaker 5: make an effort. So this sounds like a dude who's
- 14:11Speaker 5: saying he's on the x ex's side. I guess ah,
- 14:16Speaker 5: very divisive. I kind of it's interesting to see the perspective,
- 14:19Speaker 5: you know, what.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Just struck me.
- 14:21Speaker 2: If he did it on Amazon, she could hit him
- 14:25Speaker 2: back with this.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Why didn't he just hit the gift wrapped option?
- 14:29Speaker 4: Well, that's the problem. Is they that wrapping paper can
- 14:31Speaker 4: get data.
- 14:32Speaker 2: No, no, Amazon itself, it will send it in a box
- 14:37Speaker 2: wrapped in a gift bag.
- 14:38Speaker 3: You have that option when you order. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 3: that's what he could have done. Morgan. If you want
- 14:44Speaker 3: to hit back with that, maybe that.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Yeah, but we we When you get gifts in a bag,
- 14:50Speaker 5: it's not quite the same as tearing the wrapping paper.
- 14:52Speaker 5: They're still appreciated, it's still nice. And if that's what
- 14:54Speaker 5: you gotta do, that's what you gotta do.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Gabe.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I just gave you a birthday gift in a bag
- 14:59Speaker 2: last week.
- 15:00Speaker 4: And it was wonderful.
- 15:01Speaker 5: I have some of that soup here Today. There was
- 15:08Speaker 5: hey challenge issued out to our very own Angie. Something
- 15:13Speaker 5: went down yesterday that well, actually I lied, it didn't
- 15:17Speaker 5: go down at all.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Nothing happened.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Okay, I'm going to take accountability.
- 15:21Speaker 5: You shall hold on, Angel, there's something I got. This
- 15:23Speaker 5: is a little more appropriate, I think.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Because you had a bad day that was you yesterday.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Yes, I did have a bad day. I'm gonna address this.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I'm taking accountability because if I say something on air
- 15:38Speaker 2: and then don't follow through, that is not fair to you.
- 15:42Speaker 2: So the thing was, I was supposed to perform a
- 15:46Speaker 2: rocket style dance in the studio per a challenge that
- 15:51Speaker 2: was issued to me by Gabe about a month ago.
- 15:54Speaker 2: The incredible team of dancers at Base Dance Studios, Amanda
- 15:58Speaker 2: Kretchman who owns and run it, they reached out and
- 16:01Speaker 2: they said, we will help you work on a rockhead
- 16:05Speaker 2: style routine. And so the video of that is up
- 16:09Speaker 2: on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. You
- 16:11Speaker 2: can see how I did during my training. But then
- 16:15Speaker 2: I was supposed to round this all off with a
- 16:18Speaker 2: performance here in the studio.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Now did I do that? No, But it was not
- 16:27Speaker 3: for lack of trying.
- 16:28Speaker 2: And Gabe, I know you're kind of shaking your head
- 16:30Speaker 2: and looking at me like you are so disappointed.
- 16:34Speaker 3: But the problem is, and you saw me struggling.
- 16:37Speaker 2: The routine that I learned at Base Dance Studios was
- 16:40Speaker 2: a group routine and so for me to do it
- 16:44Speaker 2: just by myself in studio, I'm not gonna lie.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Your girl didn't understand how to time it, do the music.
- 16:51Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm doing unless I have them
- 16:55Speaker 2: guiding me. And if you check out the video at
- 16:58Speaker 2: the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page, you can
- 17:00Speaker 2: see why it is that I couldn't figure out how
- 17:04Speaker 2: to do it as a solo performance because when I
- 17:06Speaker 2: learned it, it was a group performance. I will say,
- 17:08Speaker 2: I think I did a good job in the video
- 17:10Speaker 2: that you can check out, So I think what I'm
- 17:14Speaker 2: going to do stoping me.
- 17:16Speaker 3: I feel bad enough as it is.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I think what I'm going to do is teach my
- 17:21Speaker 2: kiddos and Mikey to do this dance.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Now they're getting roped into, yes, embarrassment.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Listen, they chose this life embarrassment. I'm not going to
- 17:31Speaker 3: do a bad job, you'll But that was the other
- 17:33Speaker 3: thing is that I didn't want to do it solo
- 17:35Speaker 3: and then feel like I was shaming based dance studios
- 17:38Speaker 3: because they are actually really great. But I just I
- 17:42Speaker 3: can't do it as a solo performance.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Here is the problem. Here is my issue.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Okay, Angie, you learn this dance I did, and from
- 17:50Speaker 5: what it sounds like, there was no preparation on how
- 17:53Speaker 5: to do this by yourself on your own time.
- 17:55Speaker 3: No, I did.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I was practicing, but I was practicing without music, which
- 18:00Speaker 2: is probably the issue.
- 18:02Speaker 3: And but the thing.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Is when I was even practicing yesterday, like while the
- 18:07Speaker 2: songs were playing and everything, and I was gearing myself
- 18:10Speaker 2: up for this, like I don't understand the counts, Like
- 18:13Speaker 2: I just am so inept at this. However, they chose
- 18:17Speaker 2: this life. No, my kids didn't choose this life like
- 18:19Speaker 2: I made them exist. But Mikey chose this life. So
- 18:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna rope my family into it. And then I'm
- 18:26Speaker 2: not gonna give a timeline on it, but it'll definitely
- 18:28Speaker 2: be before Christmas.
- 18:29Speaker 4: We will do Christmas.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Christmas will be here before you know, we're fifteen.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Days I realize what the day was.
- 18:36Speaker 2: And then I'll do the performance and I'll like put
- 18:39Speaker 2: on red lipstick. I'll make myself look as roquette as possible.
- 18:43Speaker 2: But it's it's that it has to be a group
- 18:45Speaker 2: thing this otherwise I don't know what I'm doing.
- 18:48Speaker 5: This sounds like someone who's nearing the end of their
- 18:50Speaker 5: college semester or maybe tax time.
- 18:52Speaker 4: You're asking for a little extension.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Yes, yes, please it you're calling me to ask me
- 18:57Speaker 1: about my car's extending warranty. It sounds like, so I
- 19:01Speaker 1: will grant you your extension to try to help you
- 19:03Speaker 1: get this done.
- 19:03Speaker 3: It's the season of giving.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Please give me some grace and let your girl have
- 19:08Speaker 2: a couple more weeks to do this performance.
- 19:13Speaker 7: I starting off the day with something good. This is
- 19:19Speaker 7: Gabe's good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 19:24Speaker 5: Shane Nicol is an individual in Fargo who went out
- 19:29Speaker 5: did some snow plowing yesterday and talked about how he
- 19:33Speaker 5: and other people in his neighborhood take a little bit
- 19:36Speaker 5: of pride and who gets to be the first one
- 19:38Speaker 5: to help out like the neighbors in his area. Oh
- 19:41Speaker 5: I love that, Yeah, he said, Well he's snow blowing
- 19:45Speaker 5: the sidewalks.
- 19:46Speaker 4: You know, for other.
- 19:47Speaker 5: People, it's a lot easier to just keep going forward
- 19:50Speaker 5: than to try to turn the snowblower around. He also added,
- 19:54Speaker 5: you know, there's no such thing as bad weather, just
- 19:56Speaker 5: bad snowblowers. And the reason I wanted to highlight Shane
- 19:59Speaker 5: is because us there are a lot of people in
- 20:02Speaker 5: the FM area who are that person. I feel like
- 20:05Speaker 5: every community here and in the Midwest in general, but
- 20:08Speaker 5: especially in the FM area, has those handful of guys
- 20:11Speaker 5: and girls who go out when it snows like this
- 20:15Speaker 5: and to snowplow more than just their driveway. They help
- 20:18Speaker 5: out with the sidewalks, They help out with their neighbors driveways.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Growing up, I watch my dad snowblow our neighbors driveways
- 20:24Speaker 5: all the time. I think he was just having fun
- 20:26Speaker 5: with the snowblower, but he did it. And there are
- 20:28Speaker 5: so many people out there like that doing that.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Today.
- 20:31Speaker 5: There's the snowplow drivers who have been at it tirelessly
- 20:35Speaker 5: for what feels like forever. I don't know if they
- 20:38Speaker 5: go on shifts or rotate or how that works, but
- 20:40Speaker 5: either way, they have been at it for so long.
- 20:43Speaker 5: And while we are dealing with, you know, roads that
- 20:46Speaker 5: might be a little bit slippery and full of snow,
- 20:49Speaker 5: it might be tough to get out of your neighborhood
- 20:51Speaker 5: or up or out of your driveway or whatever the
- 20:52Speaker 5: case may be. But there are people who are helping
- 20:55Speaker 5: others every single day here in the FM community. And
- 20:58Speaker 5: nothing brings the FM community together more than when it
- 21:02Speaker 5: snows about six inches. We just see all kinds of
- 21:06Speaker 5: stories like this. So we talked about Shane, but every
- 21:09Speaker 5: neighborhood I feel like has a couple of Shanes in them.
- 21:12Speaker 5: So that's your good news. Today. You're gonna see a
- 21:14Speaker 5: lot of people helping each other out, getting cars unstuck,
- 21:17Speaker 5: pulling over to help out cars that are stuck, and
- 21:19Speaker 5: stuff like that. So I just wanted to highlight that
- 21:21Speaker 5: while we enjoy this frosting of snow that appeared out
- 21:25Speaker 5: of nowhere, the world is full of nice people. If
- 21:28Speaker 5: you can't find one, you gotta be one.
