- 0:12Speaker 1: The Root's on fire! You're about to experience the most high-octane,
- 0:16Speaker 1: pedal-to-the-metal controversial show of your life. Please buckle up and
- 0:20Speaker 1: hold on tightly. This station is not responsible for injuries.
- 0:24Speaker 1: This is Wayne Allen Root, America's favorite conservative rock star,
- 0:28Speaker 1: direct from the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
- 0:32Speaker 1: What time is it?
- 0:33Speaker 2: It's time for War!
- 0:35Speaker 3: War!
- 0:37Speaker 1: Here's your host, 100% raw truth, 100% American made, the warrior,
- 0:43Speaker 1: Wayne Allen Root.
- 0:56Speaker 2: All right, Wayne Allen Root, Warzone.
- 0:58Speaker 4: You see, I was just watching, you know, in the
- 1:00Speaker 4: TV camera, I'm watching the opening of the show on Patriot.TV,
- 1:04Speaker 4: and it's kind of funny because.
- 1:06Speaker 2: You know, it's all about Vegas, and I'm from Vegas.
- 1:08Speaker 4: I'm originally from New York, but my adopted hometown is
- 1:10Speaker 4: Las Vegas for the last 23 years, now going on
- 1:13Speaker 4: 24 years this year. And you see the Fountains of
- 1:18Speaker 4: Bellagio on Lake Bellagio at the Bellagio Hotel. I often
- 1:21Speaker 4: eat dinner at Spago, and I sit outside, and I'm
- 1:23Speaker 4: overlooking that exact fountain going off, that explosion of water
- 1:28Speaker 4: in the air, that exact thing I'm staring at for dinner.
- 1:31Speaker 4: So it's funny that they use that in the open
- 1:33Speaker 4: of the show. And it struck me. I was going
- 1:35Speaker 4: to write this column. I've already got the notes here
- 1:38Speaker 4: to write the column, if I could find it. Vegas
- 1:41Speaker 4: homes now sell for $ 30 million, condos for $ 21 million.
- 1:46Speaker 2: That's what zero taxes does for you.
- 1:49Speaker 4: You know, Vegas is not pretty per se, although the
- 1:53Speaker 4: $ 30 million homes in a golf course gated community are
- 1:56Speaker 4: pretty nice on a golf course. But, I mean, Vegas
- 1:58Speaker 4: itself is kind of ugly. It's kind of a desert.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Tumbleweed used to be rolling by. You know, it's ugly desert.
- 2:05Speaker 4: It's not a lot of green, not a lot of
- 2:07Speaker 4: green grass. It's, like I say, desert. And if there wasn't,
- 2:11Speaker 4: you know, artificial water from the Hoover Dam, it would
- 2:15Speaker 4: be one big ugly place with tumbleweeds. And so how
- 2:19Speaker 4: do you get people to move there from a beautiful
- 2:21Speaker 4: place like California? Well, I lived in Malibu on the
- 2:25Speaker 4: beach overlooking the ocean. OK, for the first six years,
- 2:29Speaker 4: it was like being in Baywatch. I lived on the
- 2:32Speaker 4: beach and I used to get up in the morning
- 2:34Speaker 4: and I'd walk, you know, 10 steps down and I
- 2:36Speaker 4: was on the beach with my dogs and we'd walk
- 2:38Speaker 4: on the beach. I lived on the beach. The waves
- 2:41Speaker 4: broke right in front of my back window. And so
- 2:45Speaker 4: and then I moved to a house that was basically
- 2:47Speaker 4: a mansion overlooking the beach with a four story wall.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Of glass overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
- 2:54Speaker 4: And right below that glass, I had a beautiful pool
- 2:57Speaker 4: hanging out over a mountain overlooking the ocean. How do
- 3:00Speaker 4: you get someone to leave that to go to ugly
- 3:02Speaker 4: Las Vegas? Zero income taxes.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That's how.
- 3:05Speaker 4: And now it's happening. You know, no one ever imagined.
- 3:08Speaker 4: I have friends who grew up in Las Vegas and
- 3:10Speaker 4: they moved somewhere else. And I sent a few of
- 3:12Speaker 4: them a letter over the weekend. And I said, did
- 3:14Speaker 4: you ever imagine the Vegas that you grew up in
- 3:17Speaker 4: would now have $ 30 million homes and $ 21 million condos?
- 3:20Speaker 4: And they were all like, what? And I sent them
- 3:22Speaker 4: the actual listing of the $ 30 million home. And I
- 3:25Speaker 4: sent them the sale because that's not even a listing.
- 3:28Speaker 2: It happened. A $ 21 million condo just sold.
- 3:31Speaker 4: All of this is in Summerlin, not Vegas proper, but Summerlin,
- 3:35Speaker 4: which is kind of, you know, Phoenix has Scottsdale, Vegas
- 3:37Speaker 4: has Summerlin. Summerlin is the Scottsdale slash Beverly Hills of
- 3:42Speaker 4: Las Vegas.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And it's where I live. I love Summerlin. It's beautiful.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And there's no crime. The air is clean. The sky
- 3:48Speaker 2: is blue.
- 3:49Speaker 4: And the houses are all beautiful. And they're in gated communities.
- 3:52Speaker 4: And it's just a great place to live. And the
- 3:54Speaker 4: whole L.A., and I'm sure plenty of San Diego and
- 3:58Speaker 4: plenty of San Francisco, plenty of people from New York
- 4:01Speaker 4: are also moving here. Plenty of people from Chicago are
- 4:04Speaker 4: probably moving here, but primarily L.A.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Is moving here. Thousands of L.A.
- 4:08Speaker 4: People a month are moving to Las Vegas, and Summerlin
- 4:11Speaker 4: is where the ones who have money are all moving here.
- 4:14Speaker 4: And that's why the houses have exploded in prices here.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I was out looking at houses over the weekend with
- 4:19Speaker 4: a friend who's a realtor. And I just wanted to
- 4:21Speaker 4: see what was out there. And I just had no
- 4:23Speaker 4: idea that every house that's nice now in a gated
- 4:27Speaker 4: community in Summerlin is $ 3.
- 4:29Speaker 2: To $ 6 million.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Most of them $ 4 and $ 5 and $ 6 million. Very
- 4:34Speaker 4: few $ 3 million ones available anymore. Really nice houses are
- 4:37Speaker 4: all going for $ 5 or $ 6 million out here, which
- 4:40Speaker 4: was shocking to me. And then I saw that one...
- 4:42Speaker 4: condo just sold for $ 21 million, the highest priced condo
- 4:46Speaker 4: in the history of Las Vegas.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And there are.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Several homes in the $ 30 to $ 40.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Million range in Summerlin now.
- 4:53Speaker 4: And it's all because people are moving here because the
- 4:56Speaker 4: tax rate is zero. That's why they're moving here. You know,
- 4:59Speaker 4: it's prettier in other places. It's prettier in Florida. It's
- 5:03Speaker 4: prettier in California. It's even prettier in Washington and Oregon.
- 5:07Speaker 2: It's beautiful in some of those places. Not for me.
- 5:11Speaker 4: I like sun out 300 days a year, 330 days
- 5:14Speaker 4: a year. You go to Oregon and Washington, the sun's
- 5:16Speaker 4: never out, right? So for me, those places are pretty,
- 5:19Speaker 4: but they're very green. It rains a lot, so they're
- 5:21Speaker 4: very green. But they're also very humid. And Florida, ridiculously humid.
- 5:27Speaker 4: It rains every afternoon.
- 5:28Speaker 2: The whole summer.
- 5:29Speaker 4: And here, it almost never rains. And it's always sun.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Sunshine's always out. Sky's always blue. And no humidity. And
- 5:36Speaker 4: there's no bugs. You have no flying giant cockroaches like
- 5:40Speaker 4: they do in Florida. So I wouldn't live in Florida.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I like it here.
- 5:43Speaker 4: But believe me, the reason people move here is 1, 2, 3, 4,
- 5:47Speaker 4: 5 through number 800 is because of taxes. If the
- 5:52Speaker 4: taxes are zero, they will come. Just like that famous movie.
- 5:55Speaker 4: If you build it, they will come. If you reduce
- 5:58Speaker 4: the taxes to zero, they will come. And by the way,
- 6:01Speaker 4: the guy who bought the $ 21 million condo is worth
- 6:02Speaker 4: $ 8 billion and lived in L.A.
- 6:05Speaker 2: And he moved here.
- 6:06Speaker 4: And he said, it's amazing to think that I built
- 6:09Speaker 4: my fortune in California and they chased me out of
- 6:11Speaker 4: my own state. So a lot of wild things are
- 6:14Speaker 4: happening in Las Vegas. It is not your grandfather's Las Vegas.
- 6:17Speaker 4: It's not what you think of when you think of Vegas.
- 6:20Speaker 4: You think of the strip and you think of lots
- 6:22Speaker 4: of poor people and lots of crime and homeless people. Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 4: around the strip. But in Summerlin, it's not like that
- 6:28Speaker 4: at all. It's Beverly Hills.
- 6:29Speaker 2: It's beautiful.
- 6:30Speaker 4: And everyone's waking up to that fact. And it's becoming
- 6:33Speaker 4: one of the hottest places to live in the United
- 6:34Speaker 4: States of America if.
- 6:35Speaker 2: You have money.
- 6:36Speaker 4: It's the place people come to if they have money, Summerlin,
- 6:39Speaker 4: to avoid taxes. So, you know, bravo, Las Vegas, bravo.
- 6:45Speaker 4: So I was reading this story about, speaking of L.A.,
- 6:48Speaker 4: perfect timing, this socialist woman running for mayor of L.A.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Against Karen Bass, who's also a socialist.
- 6:55Speaker 4: A socialist idiot, a socialist moron who thought it was
- 6:58Speaker 4: more important to go to Africa to attend a president's
- 7:02Speaker 4: inauguration in Africa. When she knew the worst windstorm in
- 7:07Speaker 4: the history of L.A. was headed towards Los Angeles in
- 7:09Speaker 4: another day, she left anyway for Africa. And then the
- 7:13Speaker 4: entire Pac Palisades burned to the ground and half of
- 7:15Speaker 4: Malibu burned to the ground. And by the way, both
- 7:18Speaker 4: houses I used to live in that I used to own.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I owned them both, so I didn't rent them. I
- 7:22Speaker 4: owned two houses in Malibu. They both burned to the ground.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Gone. Don't exist anymore.
- 7:27Speaker 4: So Karen Bass left it. No water in the hydrants.
- 7:30Speaker 4: No water available. And the fire chief's a lesbian, and
- 7:35Speaker 4: she's in Africa at a president's inauguration. You wonder why
- 7:38Speaker 4: the place burned down. And then they won't issue any permits.
- 7:40Speaker 4: No one can rebuild. But people are coming in and
- 7:42Speaker 4: buying up the land so they can build low-income housing.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Maybe that was the plan from the beginning. Anyone ever
- 7:47Speaker 4: think about that? So this idiot's running against that idiot.
- 7:51Speaker 4: This socialist moron is running against that socialist moron. This
- 7:56Speaker 4: ignorant socialist moron dimwit Asian is running against the ignorant
- 8:02Speaker 4: socialist dimwit moron black.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Person, Karen Bass.
- 8:05Speaker 4: And the dimwit Asian, whose name is Ray Huang, she's
- 8:10Speaker 4: on a local radio show, KNX News, and the reporter...
- 8:16Speaker 4: starts to ask her questions and he says, you know,
- 8:19Speaker 4: how are you going to pay for all this? And
- 8:21Speaker 4: she says, well, we'll defund the police. So that's the
- 8:24Speaker 4: first thing she said that's idiotic. And then she pointed
- 8:27Speaker 4: out that the police are busy hiring so many people.
- 8:31Speaker 4: They've doubled their staff without the city's approval, she says.
- 8:35Speaker 4: And he points out that's not true. There's nothing doubled.
- 8:38Speaker 4: But they're tentatively seeking to hire 240 officers. Could be
- 8:41Speaker 4: because it's a massive crime wave in L.A. And they
- 8:44Speaker 4: have too few officers. They're not doubling their officers.
- 8:47Speaker 2: They have too few. But this is just a proposal.
- 8:50Speaker 4: It hasn't even passed yet. She doesn't know what she's
- 8:51Speaker 4: talking about. And then he quizzed her on her qualifications statement.
- 8:56Speaker 4: to lead the city of Los Angeles, and she got
- 8:58Speaker 4: really pissed. And she said, I'm a neighbor here in LA.
- 9:01Speaker 4: I'm a mother here in LA. I'm a community organizer
- 9:04Speaker 4: here in LA. I've been here over 10 years organizing
- 9:07Speaker 4: our community members. That should be resume enough. I mean,
- 9:11Speaker 4: this is a perfect example. Trump built skyscrapers, the most
- 9:16Speaker 4: beautiful luxury skyscraper buildings in the world and luxury, amazing
- 9:21Speaker 4: golf courses and office buildings and hotels. And this moron,
- 9:27Speaker 4: it goes door to door as a community organizer, just
- 9:29Speaker 4: like Obama. And they think they're qualified. So this reporter
- 9:33Speaker 4: laid out some of the pressing job requirements she would
- 9:36Speaker 4: have to tackle if elected. This includes a $ 13 billion
- 9:39Speaker 4: city budget and major departments such as the L.A.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Department of Water and Power.
- 9:44Speaker 4: And he asked Huang how she planned to take on
- 9:47Speaker 4: such responsibility.
- 9:49Speaker 2: And her response was, I'm going to do it. I'm
- 9:51Speaker 2: excited to get started.
- 9:53Speaker 4: These people, their answers are so juvenile and pathetic. And
- 9:58Speaker 4: this is who people vote for. Like in New York.
- 10:00Speaker 2: With Zoran Mondami. Same thing.
- 10:04Speaker 4: And the reporter responded by pointing out that she said,
- 10:07Speaker 4: I'm going to do it. You know, she compared herself
- 10:09Speaker 4: to Zoran Mondami in New York. And the reporter pointed
- 10:12Speaker 4: out that Mondami had at least experience as a state assemblyman,
- 10:17Speaker 4: which is not much, but dwarfs anything Wong has. She
- 10:20Speaker 4: completely lost it at that point. This is exactly the
- 10:23Speaker 4: kind of pushback that we get from media people like you.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Then she made a blunder that a little child could avoid.
- 10:29Speaker 4: She somehow got her own age wrong, saying she was
- 10:31Speaker 4: 42 when in fact she's 43 years old. And that
- 10:35Speaker 4: was the end of her interview. She got her age wrong.
- 10:38Speaker 4: So you're dealing with juvenile, delusional, naive, communist, radical morons
- 10:46Speaker 4: who have no idea what they're talking about. They don't
- 10:49Speaker 4: even know their own age. And if you elect them,
- 10:52Speaker 4: they're going to put all of us in jail. Look
- 10:54Speaker 4: at poor Tina Peters.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 10:57Speaker 4: She got assaulted in prison. And at this point, they
- 11:01Speaker 4: say they're going to press charges against her.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Of course they are.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Because President Trump pardoned her on the federal level. They
- 11:07Speaker 4: need some real serious state charges.
- 11:10Speaker 2: They set her up.
- 11:11Speaker 4: To be attacked, and when she hit back, she didn't
- 11:14Speaker 4: even hit, when she pushed back, they're gonna say she
- 11:16Speaker 4: assaulted the other person who they must have paid or
- 11:20Speaker 4: given privileges. Maybe some guard is having sex with the
- 11:23Speaker 4: other gal, and he sent the other gal over to
- 11:26Speaker 4: hit poor Tina Peters, a 70-year-old gold star mom. And
- 11:30Speaker 4: when she pushed the woman off her, they arrested her,
- 11:33Speaker 4: in other words, she's in prison, so they sent her
- 11:35Speaker 4: to the gulag.
- 11:36Speaker 2: She's in solitary now.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Solitary, for pushing back against the thug that tried to
- 11:42Speaker 4: beat her. They need new charges to keep her in
- 11:45Speaker 4: prison for nine years for nothing.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Be right back. All right, a special treat for you.
- 11:53Speaker 4: I want to introduce you to a real hero of
- 11:55Speaker 4: the American energy industry, a legend, Mark Bruner, founder and
- 11:59Speaker 4: CEO of Lost Soldier Oil and Gas. In the United States,
- 12:03Speaker 4: Lost Soldier is the last major BCGA, Basin Centered Gas Accumulation.
- 12:10Speaker 4: This is code for a monster field where gas or
- 12:13Speaker 4: oil is in a basin, which makes the drilling and
- 12:15Speaker 4: production much easier. Mark, you're a legend in the oil
- 12:19Speaker 4: industry and the gas industry.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Tell us about your track record.
- 12:23Speaker 5: Well, I'm a second-generation oil and gas guy. My father,
- 12:27Speaker 5: in the early 1950s, started a company called Techstar. It
- 12:30Speaker 5: later became Texas Oil and Gas. When it sold out
- 12:33Speaker 5: to U.S. Steel, it was the largest independent in the world.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Delhi Pipelines was the largest gas distribution system in the
- 12:40Speaker 5: United States. When it sold out to U.S. Steel, I
- 12:43Speaker 5: worked with him for four years. I've been in the
- 12:45Speaker 5: oil and gas business ever since. You would probably know
- 12:48Speaker 5: me better as the chairman of Ultra Petroleum, and I
- 12:53Speaker 5: Ultra had a pretty good track record, which you're very
- 12:56Speaker 5: familiar with, I think.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Well, I think a $ 10, 000 investor in Ultra turned it
- 13:01Speaker 4: into $ 13 million. Is that correct, in the nine-year run
- 13:04Speaker 4: of your publicly traded company?
- 13:06Speaker 5: Yeah, at the high, that's true.
- 13:07Speaker 4: $ 10, 000 turned it to $ 13 million. That means $ 100, 000 turned
- 13:12Speaker 4: it to $ 130 million.
- 13:13Speaker 2: That's an incredible track record.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Now tell me why this deal, Lost Soldier, this project
- 13:19Speaker 4: is so important. I hear about projects and deals all
- 13:22Speaker 4: the time. What makes this one special, Mark?
- 13:25Speaker 5: What's special about this is all the other basins in
- 13:28Speaker 5: the United States have been drilled. We've known for 50
- 13:30Speaker 5: years what they are. This one could not be drilled
- 13:33Speaker 5: because there was a uranium mine out here. Until it
- 13:36Speaker 5: was reclamated three years ago, no one could drill it.
- 13:39Speaker 5: This is surrounded by large oil and gas fields with
- 13:43Speaker 5: billions of dollars of infrastructure that at this point is
- 13:46Speaker 5: 85% empty. So we made this discovery. We are the
- 13:50Speaker 5: only operator in this field. And right now we can
- 13:54Speaker 5: see that we've got enough room for 500 horizontal wells
- 13:57Speaker 5: out here with what we've drilled so far. Very exciting.
- 14:00Speaker 5: It's the new basin in the United States. And as
- 14:04Speaker 5: far as I'm concerned, this is an order of magnitude
- 14:07Speaker 5: bigger than Ultra Petroleum, the one that I did.
- 14:10Speaker 6: All right.
- 14:10Speaker 2: The website is lostsoldier.com. Pretty simple stuff, lostsoldier.com.
- 14:16Speaker 4: The project, 40,000 acres, took 40 years to piece together.
- 14:20Speaker 4: It's called Lost Soldier Oil and Gas, LLC. That's the company,
- 14:24Speaker 4: that's the project, but the website.
- 14:26Speaker 2: LostSoldier.com.
- 14:28Speaker 4: If you're an accredited investor, Mark wants to hear from you.
- 14:31Speaker 4: If you want to hear more information, check it out.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Fill out the form and you get to Lost Soldier.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Mark and his people will get back to you as
- 14:37Speaker 4: CFO and let you know all the details you need
- 14:39Speaker 4: to know.
- 14:40Speaker 2: LostSoldier.com. Thanks, Mark, for being with us today. Thank you, Wayne.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Good to see you again.
- 15:02Speaker 4: All right, so everybody should do what I did late
- 15:05Speaker 4: last night, about midnight or so. I just put out
- 15:07Speaker 4: my last tweet of the night, my last post of
- 15:09Speaker 4: the night on all my social media.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Free Tina Peters. That's all I said. Free Tina Peters.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Everybody should say that.
- 15:16Speaker 4: It should start to be the number one trending tweet
- 15:20Speaker 4: or post at.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Social media around the country.
- 15:22Speaker 4: And I want to give you a couple of phone
- 15:24Speaker 4: numbers to call, so get your pens out if you can.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Even if you're driving, pull over to the side of
- 15:28Speaker 4: the road and take these phone numbers down because I've
- 15:31Speaker 4: got the phone number for the governor of Colorado and
- 15:33Speaker 4: the Colorado attorney general. And we need to just overwhelm
- 15:36Speaker 4: them with calls, overwhelm them with calls to say, you know,
- 15:40Speaker 4: please get Tina Peters out of the hole.
- 15:43Speaker 2: She's in the hole.
- 15:44Speaker 4: She's in solitary because another inmate who was 20 years
- 15:48Speaker 4: old assaulted a 70-year-old woman. and they're charging the 70-year-old
- 15:51Speaker 4: woman with doing something wrong and assaulting a 20-year-old. There's
- 15:56Speaker 4: even video of Tina going into a closet in the
- 15:59Speaker 4: prison to put a water case in there, and all
- 16:02Speaker 4: of a sudden this 20-year-old appears out of nowhere, and
- 16:05Speaker 4: you see some sort of altercation, and then Tina comes
- 16:07Speaker 4: out of the closet pushing the 20-year-old, and that's the
- 16:10Speaker 4: only thing you can see, and that's called assault with
- 16:13Speaker 4: intent to hurt bodily injury. I mean, you've got to
- 16:15Speaker 4: be joking. A 70-year-old assaulted a 20-year-old? When the 20-year-old
- 16:19Speaker 4: attacked her in a closet. Colorado Governor Polis. Let me
- 16:23Speaker 4: give you the phone number. Please take this down. We've
- 16:25Speaker 4: got to leave them thousands of messages. Colorado Governor Polis.
- 16:28Speaker 6: 303-866-2471. 303-866-2471.
- 16:28Speaker 4: And then Colorado Attorney General. I don't even know what
- 16:31Speaker 4: the Attorney General's name is.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I don't really care. Just leave a message. 720 area code.
- 16:35Speaker 5: 508-6000.
- 16:35Speaker 2: 720.
- 16:37Speaker 4: 5 0 8 6,000.
- 16:48Speaker 2: For the Colorado attorney general.
- 16:50Speaker 4: And then for the Colorado governor polis, 3 0 3
- 16:53Speaker 4: 8 6 6 24 71. You got to call them
- 16:57Speaker 4: and say, we got to get Tina Peters out of solitary.
- 16:59Speaker 2: She didn't assault anybody.
- 17:01Speaker 4: We got to get her to a safe place, a
- 17:03Speaker 4: safe jail cell, a wing of the jail that may
- 17:07Speaker 4: be protective custody. And of course they've got to let
- 17:10Speaker 4: her go nine years in prison for a nonviolent crime.
- 17:14Speaker 4: What's the nonviolent crime. What did she do? What exactly
- 17:17Speaker 4: did she do? Who did she defraud?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Whose money did she take? Who did she hurt? None
- 17:21Speaker 2: of that ever happened.
- 17:23Speaker 4: She was a government official, an election official, and she
- 17:26Speaker 4: saved the proof of a stolen election in 2020. And
- 17:30Speaker 4: for that, the Democrats want to lock her away for life,
- 17:32Speaker 4: make her die in prison, because she's 70. With nine
- 17:35Speaker 4: years in prison, she'll be about 80 when they let
- 17:37Speaker 4: her go, and they're putting.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Her through torture in prison. And she'll die, and the
- 17:41Speaker 2: secret will be with her.
- 17:43Speaker 4: No one will ever find out how the Democrats stole
- 17:46Speaker 4: the 2020 election.
- 17:47Speaker 2: She knows. And for that crime, they've given her nine
- 17:51Speaker 2: years in prison and they're treating her like a mass murderer.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Truly amazing. Truly amazing.
- 17:59Speaker 4: By the numbers, Trump's second term, first year. OK, he's
- 18:04Speaker 4: been in office one year as of today. Since President
- 18:07Speaker 4: Trump took office in January 2025. Let's look at the
- 18:11Speaker 4: S & P index. It rose nearly 16%.
- 18:15Speaker 2: So, fantastic.
- 18:17Speaker 4: In the past 12 months, the Dow Jones up 13%,
- 18:19Speaker 4: NASDAQ up 20%. How about economic growth in general? Because
- 18:23Speaker 4: the stock market is great, but it's not the whole economy.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Economic growth. The U.S. economic growth accelerated and exceeded economists'
- 18:31Speaker 4: expectations in 2025, avoided what they said was a certain recession.
- 18:36Speaker 4: GDP grew by 3.8% in the second quarter, 4.3%.
- 18:40Speaker 2: In the third quarter.
- 18:42Speaker 4: And they're projecting it'll be 5.4% in the fourth quarter.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Not me, not Republicans, not Trump, not Trump's office, but
- 18:50Speaker 4: rather the Atlanta Fed, who makes these predictions for every
- 18:53Speaker 4: president for every quarter, is predicting 5.4%. So let's just
- 18:57Speaker 4: say 5% economic growth in the fourth quarter.
- 18:59Speaker 2: That's out of this world.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Inflation reached 9.1% in 2022. Maybe as bad as we've
- 19:06Speaker 4: ever had in the history of this country, certainly modern history.
- 19:09Speaker 4: inflation rates were much, much lower under Trump. I'm looking
- 19:13Speaker 4: at the graph. They're straight down. Annual rate of inflation
- 19:16Speaker 4: in 2025 began at 3%, fell to 2.3% in April.
- 19:21Speaker 4: And then in November and December, slowed sharply to 2.7%,
- 19:26Speaker 4: thanks mainly to falling gas prices.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Trade, the trade deficit.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Fell from $ 136 billion.
- 19:34Speaker 2: To $ 29.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Billion in October, the lowest level in 16 years.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Employment.
- 19:42Speaker 4: We added 584,000 jobs in total, averaging 49,000 a month.
- 19:44Speaker 4: But don't forget, Trump killed. hundreds of thousands of government jobs.
- 19:53Speaker 4: And don't forget that people born in the United States,
- 19:57Speaker 4: jobs went up by 2.5 million people who are illegal
- 20:00Speaker 4: aliens went down by 1.5 million. Gas prices, as I explained,
- 20:04Speaker 4: that's part of inflation, way, way down. Um, Mortgage rates
- 20:09Speaker 4: going way, way down. When Trump took over, the 30-year
- 20:13Speaker 4: fixed rate was 7%. It's now slid below 6%.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Border security.
- 20:20Speaker 4: I mean, the border is sealed and nobody's coming in.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Greatest border in literally 100 years. So by any measure
- 20:28Speaker 4: and any chart, any graph, Trump has had an incredibly
- 20:32Speaker 4: successful year one of his second term.
- 20:35Speaker 2: We'll be right back. Wayne Root. Hi, this is Wayne

- 21:55Speaker 2: Alright, Wayne Allen Root, the Root, the Root, the Root
- 21:57Speaker 2: is on fire. Welcome back to the show.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Great guest coming up, a pastor who was formerly the
- 22:04Speaker 4: pastor of the church that was attacked in Minneapolis, Minnesota
- 22:08Speaker 4: just in the last 48 hours. I guess it was
- 22:10Speaker 4: on Sunday, so it was just a couple days ago.
- 22:13Speaker 4: We'll have him on in just one second. Let me mention,
- 22:15Speaker 4: sponsor of the show, VRA, Vertical Research Advisory. It's funny
- 22:20Speaker 4: because the results of Kip are just stunning. Kip Herridge,
- 22:25Speaker 4: he founded this global investment and economic newsletter called Vertical
- 22:29Speaker 4: Research Advisory, and we just call it VRA for short.
- 22:33Speaker 2: And not only was he.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Up 35% last year for the year, but he's been
- 22:38Speaker 4: up 19 out of 22 years. 19 out of the
- 22:43Speaker 4: 22 years he's been in business, he's beaten the stock market.
- 22:46Speaker 4: And there was a story in... in a Wall Street publication, Barron's,
- 22:50Speaker 4: which said the average money manager loses to the market
- 22:53Speaker 4: about 90% of the time. He'd be better off just
- 22:55Speaker 4: investing in the S & P or the NASDAQ because
- 22:59Speaker 4: they beat the money managers 90% of the time. But
- 23:02Speaker 4: he beats the market almost 90% of the time with
- 23:05Speaker 4: his top picks.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Really incredible record, up 35% last.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Year, and I believe it was 50% the year before
- 23:11Speaker 4: and 25% the year before that.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Incredible record.
- 23:14Speaker 4: But I've watched him for 22 years. He recommended gold
- 23:17Speaker 4: at $ 350 an ounce.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I was dumb.
- 23:19Speaker 4: I didn't start buying it until it was $ 400. And
- 23:22Speaker 4: he recommended Bitcoin at $ 2, 000. And I was really dumb
- 23:25Speaker 4: and didn't start buying Bitcoin until it was $ 52, 000.
- 23:28Speaker 2: But, of course, now it's in the range of $ 90, 000
- 23:30Speaker 2: to $ 100, 000 for the last month.
- 23:33Speaker 4: And it was as high as $ 125, 000 late last year. So,
- 23:36Speaker 4: you know, Kip has made me a lot of money.
- 23:39Speaker 4: And he had a lot of winners. And his record's amazing.
- 23:41Speaker 4: And he does not take your money. You just pay
- 23:44Speaker 4: for his newsletter, and then you manage your own money.
- 23:46Speaker 4: He has nothing to do with it. He never touches
- 23:48Speaker 4: your money. All you do is read his advice, and
- 23:51Speaker 4: it's a great way to start each day. I never
- 23:53Speaker 4: start my day without reading Kip's newsletter, which is in
- 23:56Speaker 4: my email inbox every morning. So just go to vrainsider.com.
- 24:01Speaker 4: You'll get his best-selling book, The Big Bribe, automatically for
- 24:03Speaker 4: free because you're a fan of Wayne Root. And you
- 24:05Speaker 4: get a free two-week membership. And it's out every day,
- 24:08Speaker 4: five days a week, Monday through Friday. And you'll read
- 24:10Speaker 4: it for two weeks. Ten of his newsletters. And at
- 24:13Speaker 4: that point, you'll make a decision whether you want to
- 24:16Speaker 4: stay or not.
- 24:17Speaker 2: And it's up to you.
- 24:17Speaker 4: But, you know, I think you'll stay for life like
- 24:19Speaker 4: I have for 22 years. It's just amazing. You can't
- 24:22Speaker 4: make your own stock picks. You can't decide whether gold's
- 24:25Speaker 4: going up or down or whether you need to buy
- 24:26Speaker 4: or sell. I don't think anymore. I just do whatever
- 24:29Speaker 4: Kip tells me to do. VRAinsider.com. VRAinsider.com. Automatically two weeks free.
- 24:36Speaker 2: All right. Pastor Joe Rigney is with us, former pastor
- 24:39Speaker 2: of the City's Church Church. in St.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Paul, Minnesota from 2015 to 2023. And we welcome him
- 24:45Speaker 4: to the show.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Pastor, how are you? Welcome.
- 24:47Speaker 3: I'm doing well. Thanks for having me.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Why did you leave, by the way? You're too
- 24:51Speaker 2: young to retire. Why aren't you still a pastor?
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I was a part-time pastor at the church.
- 24:56Speaker 6: I was also a professor, and I got a new
- 24:58Speaker 6: professor job.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I now teach in Idaho. Oh, got it. So go west,
- 25:04Speaker 3: young man, I think is the word that they told
- 25:05Speaker 3: me to do.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Got it.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Well, Idaho's a great place to go. A lot of
- 25:08Speaker 4: people are moving to Idaho, no question about that. A
- 25:10Speaker 4: lot of people are moving to where I live, Las Vegas, Summerlin,
- 25:12Speaker 4: Las Vegas.
- 25:13Speaker 2: A lot of people are moving here. The whole L.A.
- 25:15Speaker 2: is moving here. And an awful lot of people from
- 25:18Speaker 2: all over the West are.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Moving to Idaho. So you've picked a good growing place.
- 25:22Speaker 4: So you're at a good place to get out of Minneapolis.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Your former church, City's Church in St. Paul, had its
- 25:29Speaker 4: service disrupted by anti-ice protesters on Sunday. And they were
- 25:33Speaker 4: yelling at the children and yelling at the families. It
- 25:36Speaker 4: was all coordinated, it appears, by Don Lemon, former CNN anchor.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Your reaction to what happened?
- 25:44Speaker 3: It was appalling.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 3: You know, I know the pastors there very well. They're
- 25:48Speaker 3: good friends of mine. I know a lot of the
- 25:50Speaker 3: people there. And so to see these people, these.
- 25:53Speaker 6: Are just normal Christian people. You know, this is a
- 25:56Speaker 6: normal evangelical church, Bible-believing church. We planted the church, and
- 26:01Speaker 6: the priorities were very simple. We want to worship Jesus.
- 26:04Speaker 6: We want to love each other. We want to seek
- 26:06Speaker 6: the good of our neighbors. That's the base. That's what
- 26:08Speaker 6: these are just normal Christian people. And so to see
- 26:11Speaker 6: them attacked and harassed in this way. And like you said,
- 26:14Speaker 6: it was coordinated.
- 26:15Speaker 3: It was planned.
- 26:16Speaker 6: This wasn't, you know, a demonstration that got out of control.
- 26:19Speaker 6: This was intentional and deliberate, organized with the media, as
- 26:23Speaker 6: you mentioned, Don Lemon and Black Lives Matter and other,
- 26:26Speaker 6: you know, sort of organizations like that. I'm now seeing
- 26:29Speaker 6: reports that perhaps even people connected to the St. Paul
- 26:33Speaker 6: government were in attendance with the protesters. And so it's
- 26:37Speaker 6: really appalling to see a church service disrupted. And as
- 26:40Speaker 6: my former colleague, the pastor there said, you watch it
- 26:44Speaker 6: and he's just shame on you. This is shameful to
- 26:47Speaker 6: disrupt a worship service of Christians.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Yeah, you mentioned the interesting word. You said BLM, Black
- 26:54Speaker 4: Lives Matter. Being that you were a pastor at that church,
- 26:59Speaker 4: From 2015 to 2023, that means you were there in
- 27:02Speaker 4: Minneapolis for George Floyd riots, the BLM riots.
- 27:06Speaker 2: What was that like?
- 27:07Speaker 4: I know they just tried to burn down the whole
- 27:10Speaker 4: downtown Minneapolis. Was that near where your church was located?
- 27:15Speaker 1: It was.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Our church building was in St.
- 27:16Speaker 6: Paul, but my family lived in south Minneapolis, a mile
- 27:20Speaker 6: or so from what's now called George Floyd Square. And
- 27:24Speaker 6: immediately afterward, I remember all the gas stations anywhere near
- 27:27Speaker 6: us had been burned to the ground. We had to
- 27:29Speaker 6: drive 10 minutes to go get gas because they'd burned
- 27:32Speaker 6: down all the gas stations. And I do think that
- 27:34Speaker 6: there's a connection. I think that a number of these
- 27:36Speaker 6: organizations that formed and coalesced during that time have found
- 27:40Speaker 6: a new cause and they've upped their tactics. Now, not
- 27:44Speaker 6: only are they disrupting law enforcement activities in the Twin Cities,
- 27:48Speaker 6: which they've been doing for a number of months, but
- 27:51Speaker 6: now they're actually following law enforcement agents to where they
- 27:54Speaker 6: worship and harassing their families, intimidating their friends, seeking denunciations,
- 28:01Speaker 6: simply because these men and women are seeking to enforce
- 28:05Speaker 6: our nation's laws. They're trying to remove rapists and criminals
- 28:12Speaker 6: and those.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Who are here legally from our streets.
- 28:15Speaker 6: It's a basic function of government. And instead of assisting
- 28:18Speaker 6: in that, these organizations and the politicians who are encouraging
- 28:23Speaker 6: them are harassing normal law-abiding citizens.
- 28:27Speaker 3: It really is shameful.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Did you see the video from yesterday or the day before?
- 28:34Speaker 4: The ICE was moving in on a certain block in
- 28:36Speaker 4: a certain building. In that building was a child rapist.
- 28:41Speaker 4: All the protesters were trying to block them and stop
- 28:43Speaker 4: them and calling them names. And the ICE guy, you know,
- 28:47Speaker 4: the ICE officer, ICE agent said to them, do you
- 28:50Speaker 4: understand we're here to pick up a child rapist? And
- 28:55Speaker 4: you just, you know, you talk about.
- 28:56Speaker 2: The word shame. I mean, what do you think as
- 28:58Speaker 2: a pastor when.
- 29:00Speaker 4: You hear that people are trying to, they'd rather have
- 29:02Speaker 4: the child rapist stay among you and rape your children
- 29:06Speaker 4: than kick them out of the country? They're so liberal
- 29:09Speaker 4: and so radical and so nutty. I don't know what
- 29:12Speaker 4: to say anymore.
- 29:13Speaker 2: It's insanity.
- 29:15Speaker 4: It is.
- 29:15Speaker 6: And I honestly, a big part of it is just
- 29:18Speaker 6: that I think, you know, the president has broken people's brains.
- 29:22Speaker 6: These sort of activities, you know, a number of years ago,
- 29:25Speaker 6: you know, at various times, Democratic politicians have actually tried
- 29:28Speaker 6: to do this sort of thing, at least remove the
- 29:30Speaker 6: violent criminals who are here illegally and have been aided
- 29:34Speaker 6: and encouraged by local law enforcement. They're presently, you know,
- 29:38Speaker 6: in many states, they're good. getting assistance from local police
- 29:42Speaker 6: and local officials. Places like Florida and Texas are assisting ICE.
- 29:47Speaker 6: It's in Minneapolis and places like that where the government
- 29:50Speaker 6: itself is hostile, is refusing to uphold the law, refusing
- 29:53Speaker 6: to assist.
- 29:53Speaker 3: And because of that, there's this increased tension.
- 29:56Speaker 6: And this is just something, you know, as a pastor,
- 29:59Speaker 6: When your passions and emotions are in the driver's seat,
- 30:02Speaker 6: people don't think clearly, they don't act wisely, and you
- 30:05Speaker 6: have this kind of chaos. You just unleash chaos into
- 30:08Speaker 6: society when passions.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Are in the driver's seat. And I think that's what
- 30:11Speaker 3: boiled over in a coordinated way on Sunday.
- 30:15Speaker 4: You know, it's pretty clear, and I don't want to
- 30:16Speaker 4: get you in any trouble here, but it's clear you're
- 30:18Speaker 4: a conservative, right?
- 30:19Speaker 2: I mean, are you allowed to say that? You're politically conservative?
- 30:22Speaker 2: Is that okay?
- 30:24Speaker 1: It is.
- 30:24Speaker 3: It is.
- 30:25Speaker 6: I mean, I understand why some Christians kind of balk
- 30:27Speaker 6: at that. I think they wish we lived in a
- 30:30Speaker 6: society in which sort of the basic moral foundations were
- 30:32Speaker 6: all agreed upon and we were debating marginal tax rates
- 30:35Speaker 6: and things like that. And so you could sort of
- 30:37Speaker 6: be nonpartisan and it didn't matter, you know, what political
- 30:40Speaker 6: party you voted for.
- 30:41Speaker 2: But now it matters.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but now it matters.
- 30:44Speaker 6: We live in a day and age in which fundamental
- 30:46Speaker 6: moral issues are and worldview metaphysical issues.
- 30:49Speaker 3: What is a man?
- 30:50Speaker 1: What is a woman?
- 30:51Speaker 6: Can a man turn into a woman? These kind of questions,
- 30:53Speaker 6: should we have a border? Can we enforce that border?
- 30:56Speaker 6: These sort of basic questions of law and order, of
- 30:58Speaker 6: human biology, are up for grabs in our society. And so, no,
- 31:03Speaker 6: I'm unapologetically a conservative Christian.
- 31:06Speaker 4: And you're in the right place. You can say that
- 31:08Speaker 4: in Idaho. But were you able to say that in Minneapolis?
- 31:11Speaker 4: Were you ever able to talk politics from the pulpit
- 31:15Speaker 4: or even to the parishioners after the service?
- 31:18Speaker 2: Or is it very different being in Idaho than Minneapolis?
- 31:22Speaker 6: There are some differences, but honestly, you know, for most people,
- 31:24Speaker 6: they don't go to church to hear politics.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I mean, maybe they go to certain.
- 31:27Speaker 6: Churches, certain churches bring politicians in, you know, often black
- 31:30Speaker 6: churches bring lots of politicians in to hold political rallies
- 31:33Speaker 6: in churches. But all the churches I've ever been a
- 31:35Speaker 6: part of, including my current church in Idaho, politics is
- 31:38Speaker 6: very far from our concern. We want to help people,
- 31:40Speaker 6: you know, love Jesus and love their wives and love
- 31:42Speaker 6: their kids and be good neighbors.
- 31:44Speaker 3: So we just want to preach the Bible, which is
- 31:45Speaker 3: what this church was doing on Sunday.
- 31:48Speaker 6: But yes, I was involved in some political things back
- 31:51Speaker 6: in 2013 when Minnesota sought to legalize same-sex marriage. I
- 31:55Speaker 6: spoke at the Capitol as a pastor and saying this
- 31:57Speaker 6: is abominable and you must not do this.
- 31:59Speaker 3: You need to uphold marriage. Of course, they didn't.
- 32:02Speaker 6: They chose to go down that rate and now they're
- 32:04Speaker 6: transing the kids and doing all other sorts of insanity.
- 32:06Speaker 6: So we were able to be involved, but you wish
- 32:09Speaker 6: you didn't have to. You wish that it was simply
- 32:11Speaker 6: a given. that the basic foundations of morality and common
- 32:14Speaker 6: sense were baked into society. And then pastor's job would
- 32:18Speaker 6: be to say, hey, you're a sinner in need of grace.
- 32:20Speaker 6: You're a sinner in need of a savior. Let me
- 32:21Speaker 6: introduce you to Jesus. He died for your sins. That's
- 32:23Speaker 6: what I want to spend my time doing. Not talking
- 32:25Speaker 6: about immigration or having to, you know, comfort people because, hey,
- 32:30Speaker 6: there might be a demonstration at our church next weekend.
- 32:32Speaker 2: No, listen, I totally understand what you're saying. And I
- 32:35Speaker 2: kind of agree with it.
- 32:35Speaker 4: But don't forget, the left, the liberal pastors aren't afraid.
- 32:39Speaker 4: to preach politics, you know, not just at black churches,
- 32:43Speaker 4: but rather, you know, like I was born a Jew
- 32:45Speaker 4: and I was born Mitzvahed. I now took Christ as
- 32:47Speaker 4: my savior, right? So I'm a very different kind of Jew,
- 32:50Speaker 4: a messianic Jew. But the reality is that when I
- 32:53Speaker 4: was born Mitzvahed, the rabbis would always give political.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Lectures at our synagogue.
- 32:59Speaker 4: And my father was a conservative Jew, then a Goldwater
- 33:03Speaker 4: Republican conservative Jew. And we grew so dissatisfied that we
- 33:07Speaker 4: never went back to synagogue ever again.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Because their lectures were always so liberal.
- 33:11Speaker 4: So we should never be shy about being politically conservative
- 33:15Speaker 4: and talk about it.
- 33:16Speaker 2: A church is no reason not to. But anyway, don't
- 33:18Speaker 2: go anywhere. Can you stay for one more segment?
- 33:20Speaker 6: Yeah, sure.
- 33:21Speaker 2: We're going through a quick ad break. We'll be right back.

- 36:44Speaker 4: All right, Wayne Allyn Rue, we'll go right back to
- 36:47Speaker 4: Pastor Joe Rigney, former pastor of the city's church in St. Paul, Minnesota,
- 36:51Speaker 4: from 2015 to 2023. His former church had its service
- 36:55Speaker 4: disrupted by anti-ICE protesters on Sunday, yelling ICE out and
- 37:00Speaker 4: yelling at the children and the families. Don Lemon was, you.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Know, installed. What's that word?
- 37:07Speaker 4: There's a word they always use in the military where you're,
- 37:10Speaker 4: You're implanted, I think, inside the military unit. He was
- 37:13Speaker 4: like implanted inside the rioters slash protesters slash agitators. And
- 37:19Speaker 4: he may be indicted as we speak right now. But
- 37:23Speaker 4: we're going to talk to Pastor Regney a little bit
- 37:24Speaker 4: more about it. Pastor Joe Regney, welcome back.
- 37:27Speaker 2: There we go. Thanks, Fred. It's getting kind of dark.
- 37:29Speaker 2: It's getting kind of dark there. We can barely see you.
- 37:32Speaker 2: We see you, though. We see you, the ghost of Regney.
- 37:34Speaker 2: We see you. So what was your reaction when you
- 37:38Speaker 2: heard what.
- 37:38Speaker 4: I said as we're going to break that, you know,
- 37:40Speaker 4: I was born Jewish and the Jewish rabbis always preach
- 37:43Speaker 4: liberal politics from the pulpit. And of course, black pastors
- 37:47Speaker 4: preach liberal politics and bring in liberal politicians.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Why can't we do more of that as conservatives and churches?
- 37:55Speaker 3: Well, I think it depends on what you mean.
- 37:56Speaker 6: So I think in terms of the basic fundamentals of
- 37:59Speaker 6: Of course, everything in that sense is political. Like the
- 38:02Speaker 6: basic foundations of society, the family is the foundational unit
- 38:05Speaker 6: of society.
- 38:06Speaker 3: Should that be preached in churches? Absolutely. The Bible speaks
- 38:09Speaker 3: directly to it.
- 38:10Speaker 6: Um, and I think, um, you know, the way that we,
- 38:12Speaker 6: we talk about our, our relationship to politics is very simple. Uh,
- 38:15Speaker 6: we think the most political thing, the most important thing
- 38:17Speaker 6: we do every week is we worship the Lord Jesus Christ. We,
- 38:20Speaker 6: we worship God on the Lord's day. And we, and we,
- 38:23Speaker 6: and part of it, this is how Christians pray, right?
- 38:25Speaker 6: We say your kingdom come, your will be done on
- 38:27Speaker 6: earth as it is in heaven. And so we go
- 38:29Speaker 6: into church and it's like, we're entering God's presence in heaven.
- 38:32Speaker 6: And we're saying, Lord, the way things run up here,
- 38:34Speaker 6: the way that you want them run up here, the
- 38:36Speaker 6: way that the angels obey, we want that to happen
- 38:39Speaker 6: on earth. And so we ask that you to bless
- 38:41Speaker 6: it as we go out from this place to be
- 38:44Speaker 6: salt and light and to influence our communities for good,
- 38:47Speaker 6: to love our neighbors, to spread the gospel, all of
- 38:50Speaker 6: those sorts of things.
- 38:51Speaker 3: And, you know, for years when I was at City's Church,
- 38:53Speaker 3: I think they still do this.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Every Sunday, the pastor ends the service with the Great
- 38:57Speaker 6: Commission from Christ. He says, all authority in heaven and
- 39:00Speaker 6: on earth has been given to Jesus. Not just authority
- 39:02Speaker 6: in the church, authority everywhere. God runs everything. And go
- 39:07Speaker 6: make disciples, baptize people, teach them to obey what Jesus
- 39:09Speaker 6: has commanded. That's your commission every week is to go
- 39:13Speaker 6: do that. And so I think more Christians ought.
- 39:15Speaker 3: To do that.
- 39:16Speaker 6: And I'm grateful for like the pastor in question that
- 39:20Speaker 6: the anti-ice protesters were there to harass.
- 39:23Speaker 3: I'm grateful for him.
- 39:23Speaker 6: I'm grateful that he's felt the call years and years
- 39:26Speaker 6: ago to become a law enforcement officer. I'm grateful that
- 39:29Speaker 6: he's up justice, that he seeks to fulfill his vocation
- 39:33Speaker 6: to do what the Bible says that government officials should do,
- 39:36Speaker 6: which is to punish the wrongdoer and to be a
- 39:38Speaker 6: terror to evil conduct. That's the kind of man I want.
- 39:41Speaker 6: He's a good man and I'm grateful for him. And
- 39:43Speaker 6: I think more Christians should be doing that. All right.
- 39:46Speaker 4: I would think the only way you can get involved
- 39:48Speaker 4: in politics in a subtle way is to have voter
- 39:50Speaker 4: registration drives around election time. I don't see anything wrong
- 39:53Speaker 4: with that. You guys ever think about things like that?
- 39:55Speaker 4: Because I know at black churches, they have voter registration drives.
- 39:58Speaker 4: So why shouldn't we, you know, you don't tell them
- 40:00Speaker 4: to vote Republican. You just register the vote. You assume
- 40:02Speaker 4: the people in your audience tend to be conservative and
- 40:05Speaker 4: they'll vote the way they want to vote.
- 40:06Speaker 2: It'll be good.
- 40:07Speaker 4: So I think that's a way that churches can be
- 40:09Speaker 4: more involved to have voter registration drives at evangelical churches.
- 40:14Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, for years at my current church, you know,
- 40:17Speaker 6: our pastor has a weekly newsletter. And when it comes
- 40:19Speaker 6: down to election time, he's always making exhortations both about
- 40:22Speaker 6: polling locations, how to get registered. The church, you know,
- 40:25Speaker 6: points people in the right direction precisely for that reason,
- 40:27Speaker 6: because we want Christians to be active citizens. We're fundamentally
- 40:30Speaker 6: citizens of heaven, yes. But this is now outpost of earth.
- 40:33Speaker 6: Churches are outposts of the heavenly kingdom on earth. And
- 40:36Speaker 6: we want to spread, you know, God's ways and works
- 40:39Speaker 6: wherever we are.
- 40:42Speaker 4: So last question is, what's your message to conservative Christians
- 40:47Speaker 4: in a world that seems to have gone crazy that,
- 40:49Speaker 4: you know, Democrats and liberals and government officials fight on
- 40:53Speaker 4: behalf of the criminals and they want to punish the
- 40:56Speaker 4: good people who are law-abiding American citizens? What is your
- 41:00Speaker 4: message to conservative Christians who are starting to lose faith?
- 41:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I think two fundamental things. First, you should pray.
- 41:07Speaker 6: And I think pray and then act, demand that your
- 41:09Speaker 6: government officials fulfill their responsibilities. And that means both enforcing
- 41:13Speaker 6: the border, as ISIS is attempting to do, and it
- 41:15Speaker 6: also means enforcing laws against this kind of harassment and disruption.
- 41:18Speaker 6: So I'm grateful that the Trump administration, at least at
- 41:21Speaker 6: this point, sounds like they're going to try to prosecute
- 41:23Speaker 6: some people. I hope they follow through on that. And
- 41:25Speaker 6: then the personal words of Christians in the face of, hey,
- 41:28Speaker 6: could this happen.
- 41:28Speaker 3: At my church? Do I need to be afraid?
- 41:31Speaker 6: You have to remember, go read your Bible, go read
- 41:33Speaker 6: the book of Acts. What is the book of Acts
- 41:35Speaker 6: filled with? It's filled with riots. It's filled with mobs.
- 41:37Speaker 6: It's filled with threats against Christian leaders. It's filled with
- 41:40Speaker 6: government officials endorsing that harassment and that intimidation. And how
- 41:44Speaker 6: did that early church respond? They gathered to pray and
- 41:47Speaker 6: they knew God was in control. And this is what
- 41:49Speaker 6: they said in the book of Acts chapter four. We're
- 41:52Speaker 6: told that the early church prayed in the face of threats. Lord,
- 41:54Speaker 6: look upon their threats. And fill us with your Holy
- 41:57Speaker 6: Spirit so that we can continue to speak your word
- 41:59Speaker 6: with boldness.
- 42:00Speaker 3: That's what's needed.
- 42:01Speaker 6: Christian clarity, Christian courage, lifting up Christ, calling out sin,
- 42:06Speaker 6: calling people to repentance. That's what Christians need, Christian boldness.
- 42:10Speaker 6: And I think God will do it. He did it
- 42:11Speaker 6: in the first century. He's going to do it in
- 42:13Speaker 6: the 21st century.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Well, that's a great way to end the show for tonight.
- 42:16Speaker 4: That's the end of our second hour, and that's the
- 42:17Speaker 4: end of our show. Pastor Joe Rigney, I've got to
- 42:20Speaker 4: tell you, this is going to be a great compliment.
- 42:22Speaker 4: I couldn't ask for a better pastor than you. I
- 42:24Speaker 4: wish you were my pastor.
- 42:25Speaker 2: You're fantastic. Breath of fresh air. You inspire me. Great energy.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Every word you said, I agree with. Go get them.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Go do a great job. Sunday and every Sunday, for
- 42:37Speaker 2: those people in Idaho, they're very lucky to have you. Yeah, thanks, Wayne.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Appreciate it. Go to church, everybody.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Thank you, Pastor.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Pastor Joe Rigney, former pastor of the city's church in St. Paul, Minnesota,
- 42:49Speaker 4: that was attacked by those radical anti-ice. I won't call
- 42:52Speaker 4: them protesters. They're not protesters. They're agitators and rioters. Bad
- 42:57Speaker 4: people attacking a.
