- 0:13I am determined to show you the reality of navigating the medical space as a patient caregiver and loved ones.
- 0:21So you can be empowered and take back the most precious and important asset of your life, which is your health.
- 0:28Let's get ready.
- 0:30Comfortable and get started Here we are.
- 0:33So today we're going to talk about the three foods, three food, three healthy food that I ask my patients to avoid like a plague.
- 0:42If they want to get rid of the uncomfortable feeling in the belly, if they don't want to look pregnant with a form of pregnant, bloated, gassy, constipation, slow motility.
- 0:53So those three foods, if you're a patient of mine, we have a decrease in our Male Plans.
- 0:59Okay, so I know I get new listeners, new, followers, new, people that are interested in functional medicine, holistic medicine, so I'm going to introduce myself.
- 1:09My name is Dr.
- 1:10Jennifer Genti.
- 1:11I am a WITCAUSE doctor, functional medicine doctor, and I help my patients identify the WITCAUSES.
- 1:17That's right.
- 1:17I help my patients identify the root causes of their symptoms so that they can have a clear way, a roadmap, a customized program to help them eliminate the symptoms so they can heal and thrive and feel the very best.
- 1:29I have, I'm a firm believer that you do need to identify the underlying causes before you can heal your body.
- 1:36I see so many patients come to my practice, have no idea, no clue.
- 1:41What's causing the symptoms, and they are seeing all the doctors, taking all the medications, trying all the supplements, the herbs, all of the things.
- 1:49But the number one step to healing your body, the number one step to actually understand the communication system between you, on your bodies to identify those causes.
- 1:58On this platform, we talked about digestive issues.
- 2:02I've been helping my patients eliminate digestive issues for years now, hormonal imbalance and weight gain.
- 2:09So if any of those three categories are interests of yours, I highly recommend that you subscribe to our platforms.
- 2:15You follow us because my goal is to give you valuable information that you can take with you anywhere that you can pass on to Your children, your spouse that you can use those and I mean the information is going to be so valuable that it's life changing.
- 2:32good.
- 2:32I'm going to be looking at my notes I took notes because again I want this to be so informative and brief.
- 2:39Straight to the points that I, you know, I would love for you to take a pen, a paper and write this down.
- 2:43Now, I use food as medicine because I believe the number one thing or control that you have over your health right now is the food is what you feed your body, It's the food that you eat.
- 2:55Yes, we can do supplements.
- 2:57Yes, we can do herbs.
- 2:58We can do all of the things.
- 3:00But once you leave your doctor's office, right, when it comes to the end of your You know, stop using your medication.
- 3:05If the medications are not working, You should resort to food because again you purchase the food you buy the food you eat the food So, you know exactly you should know exactly what your body's loving And what your body's rejecting and for me and working with my patients The goal is to always help them again eliminate the root causes heal the bodies and then we can use food as medicine Let food be thy medicine, Hippocrates, for them to move on into maintenance so that they can actually be in control and be empowered and motivated to heal the bodies.
- 3:36I don't believe we should be taking any pill.
- 3:37What is herbs supplements for the rest of your life?
- 3:40That's my belief system.
- 3:41And I have plenty of patients that have started with medications, work with me, get off the medications, get off the supplements.
- 3:48And then now they are literally using a lot of those nutrients from food.
- 3:53Granted, our food can, you know, can be contaminated.
- 3:56I'm aware.
- 3:57But as you are detoxifying, right, you're doing your best in selecting the most, you know, nutrient dense food.
- 4:06You also feed in your body because you're in tune with your body.
- 4:09You'll be able to see what supplements you need to take.
- 4:12Because I don't think we should just take supplements for hi hats, I believe everything you put into your body has to have an indication, an intention.
- 4:18We don't just take multivitamin.
- 4:20Whatever we're placing in the multivitamin, I don't know.
- 4:23So, I help my patients do that.
- 4:24But today, Again, I'm going to talk about three foods that I think most people should be avoid like a plague and those, those three foods are very popular.
- 4:3599 percent of the population eats those three foods and 95 percent of the population are really, really, really hungry.
- 4:43suffering because of eating those three foods.
- 4:46Now, when I mentioned them, you're going to be like, well, I know this food.
- 4:49I eat them.
- 4:49So disclaimer, this is for the people, for the people that are looking for solution.
- 4:54This is for those that are suffering with gas, bloat, acid reflux, unexplained, well, unwanted weight gain, This is for you.
- 5:04If you're eating a food and you look like you're pregnant, This is for you.
- 5:07Now, these foods are healthy, they are healthy, and I do recommend you can, reintroduce them into your healthy meal plan or diet.
- 5:15Once you heal your gut, you decrease the inflammation, you can reintroduce them slowly.
- 5:21But if you're suffering right now, You're sluggish.
- 5:23You have brain fog.
- 5:24You feel full without even finishing your food and you, you're tired.
- 5:29The food is giving you the ites like you need to take a nap or it's repeating on you and you have skin rashes like your, you are losing your hair, like your health is not really what you want it to be.
- 5:41I want you to look at your diet.
- 5:42Why?
- 5:42Because again, this is the most important work you can do.
- 5:45This is what you're in control of, Like removing the things that are not serving you, the things that you have in your pantry, in your fridge, that you can eliminate today.
- 5:53Now, again, if you're my patient, you can go back to the meal plans that I serve, that I give you part of your customized protocol, and you'll see that maybe there's only one ingredient that has these three foods, maybe none.
- 6:04Cause I don't use them.
- 6:06They are studies.
- 6:08research studies out there saying the same thing that I'm telling you today.
- 6:12Now, one of the three foods, uh, very popular, you can even get it at McDonald's.
- 6:17You can even get it at Burger King.
- 6:18You can get it anywhere.
- 6:19So the first one is spinach.
- 6:21Now, again, not all healthy food are conducive to poor digestive health.
- 6:25Spinach.
- 6:26I don't want my patients to eat spinach.
- 6:30Do you eat spinach?
- 6:31Are you currently eating spinach?
- 6:32You're gonna be like, Dr.
- 6:33J, uh, the social media gurus told me I should eat spinach.
- 6:37Spinach.
- 6:37It is a green.
- 6:39It has this.
- 6:40And it has that.
- 6:41Spinach is the most How would I say this?
- 6:44Producing greens out there.
- 6:46Spinach.
- 6:47Spinach has an acidic compound.
- 6:50Spinach has oxalate.
- 6:52What does oxalate do?
- 6:53Oxalate binds to calcium and then that can cause kidney issues, kidney stones.
- 7:00If you suffer with allergies.
- 7:02seasonal allergies.
- 7:03If you have asthma, like, you know, to dust, like if you get those sinus infections quite often, you need to look at eliminating spinach.
- 7:13We don't eat spinach.
- 7:14I know, it's easier to, uh, to get, Like I said, like a lot of those fast foods have spinach, You can literally go to a restaurant and eat spinach.
- 7:23But again, it's like what is being sprayed on it.
- 7:26How is this affecting your health?
- 7:28And spinach, eating it over time will definitely lead to gas and bloat.
- 7:33So if you want to identify one of the root causes of your gas and bloat, look at the food you're eating, Now, instead of eating spinach, what should you eat?
- 7:41Eat the bitter greens, arugula, bok choy, like artichoke.
- 7:45The bitter, the better.
- 7:46Because bitters help with liver, function of the liver, helps with digestion.
- 7:52And also helps decreasing, you know, inflammation.
- 7:57So I know sometimes we don't want to eat the bitters because the taste is yucky.
- 8:01But again, that's what the body's asking for.
- 8:03So the number one food that is so popular, 95%.
- 8:07That used to be me.
- 8:08I used to be my, I used to make my smoothies, my smoothies with spinach.
- 8:12I used to have spinach with every meal, but yet I wasn't getting better.
- 8:16Right?
- 8:17I mean, my skin wasn't improving.
- 8:18I'm like, what am I doing wrong?
- 8:20I'm eating healthy.
- 8:21How is this possible?
- 8:22I'm eating greens, but I'm still a little congested at night, I'm waking up and I'm suffering when it's like, you know, fall season, winter season because the leaves are drying and they are falling and I'm paying for it.
- 8:33So spinach, I'm telling you, spinach, spinach is, is one of the healthy food that can backfire on you because of the histamine producer that it is.
- 8:43You have histamine receptors all over your body, your nostrils, your gut, and also your female organs.
- 8:50For those of us that get frequent urinary tract infections or yeast infection, look into spinach.
- 8:56We'll place it with another green, The second food that I think most of people, most of us eat, you're probably gonna kill me when I mention it, are beans.
- 9:04We don't eat beans.
- 9:05Oh, what?
- 9:07Dr.
- 9:07J, beans have, you know, fiber and protein, and it's the complex carbohydrates, and everybody said I should be eating beans, and beans is so healthy for you.
- 9:16Now, beans will definitely lead to gas and bloat.
- 9:20Why?
- 9:20Because bean has a compound called lectins.
- 9:24And lectins is hard to digest.
- 9:26Because it is hard to digest a new gassy and new bloated, those unwanted microbes, those bacteria, the viruses, the pathogens are fermented on it.
- 9:38Eating the beans, you actually feeding the microbes, the pathogens.
- 9:44So that is why one of my, would cause identification that I, you know, help my patients with is to identify gut infections.
- 9:5490 percent of populations are walking around with gut infections and not even aware of it.
- 9:58Why?
- 9:58Because when you have gut infections, those pathogens are silent and dormant, You don't have the fever and the chills, you just feel unwell and heavy and you feel like something is off, right?
- 10:09It's off.
- 10:10You don't know what it is.
- 10:11You see in the doctors, you're doing all the things, you're exercising, you're drinking a lot of water, eating healthy, but yet you're not gaining that energy, that stamina, vitality, the brain fog is just humongous.
- 10:22Beans, because beans slows motility.
- 10:26If your motility is slow, it's irritating your gut lining.
- 10:30So therefore, it's like you're creating a Chinese buffet, or a buffet for the pathogens to eat.
- 10:36Leading to unwanted symptoms.
- 10:38Including weight gain.
- 10:40So the first one is spinach, the second one is beans, and the last one are grains.
- 10:45Ooh, my God.
- 10:47I was talking to a patient about grains.
- 10:49She was saying, well, I'm shocked you're mentioning grains.
- 10:51That is mentioned in the Bible.
- 10:53Jesus said we should be eating grains.
- 10:55I have the most interesting people in my practice.
- 10:58I'm telling you.
- 10:59It's because I am so, I have an open door policy, and my patients can talk to me about anything and everything.
- 11:04So whatever they're thinking, they would just, like, let it out.
- 11:08And I'm like, yeah, that is right.
- 11:09That's right.
- 11:10I mean, I don't know the Bible like the back of my hands, but I am learning to study the Bible.
- 11:15I'm looking at a few verses in the Bible.
- 11:17At the beginning, Genesis, yeah, there was a lot of grains, Wheat, barley.
- 11:21Right, like those grains are mentioned in the Bible because they are healthy food.
- 11:26So is spinach.
- 11:27Spinach is healthy.
- 11:28Beans are healthy, but again, it is what is sprayed on the food.
- 11:32what is sprayed on the food and whatever is on the food and the soil, we get.
- 11:37You eat, you become whatever you eat, Back in the days, rice used to be very healthy.
- 11:43Like you can eat rice all day long.
- 11:44Nothing happens to you.
- 11:46You have the energy because eating food is supposed to create energy.
- 11:49It's like putting gas in your car, in your body.
- 11:52Food should not give you gas and bloat, sluggishness, tiredness.
- 11:56You should not have food sensitivities.
- 11:58But because we have a higher demand, not enough supplies, the food that we literally eating now is killing us slowly.
- 12:05Many people are high functioning, sick, People, but they are high functioning.
- 12:10They get up every day, they push through, they do what they need to do.
- 12:13And then they deal with the symptoms and you know, the way they feel in later on, because it's like, I got to go to work.
- 12:18I got to take care of my family.
- 12:20I got to serve the country.
- 12:21I got to serve all the people.
- 12:22But again, if you do not look at what you put into your body, you don't have a personal relationship and connection with yourself.
- 12:30You are missing 90 percent of what your body is telling you.
- 12:35And if you do not work with a doctor that focuses on identifying the root causes, because there's usually more than one cause, root cause, you are missing 99 percent of the healing, So beans, you, again, if you're a patient of mine, you know we don't do beans.
- 12:53Like I'm talking about the lentils, the black beans, the white beans, and the red beans, all the beans that are healthy.
- 13:00Yes, beans, I mean, beans, we don't do beans, we're talking about grains.
- 13:04Now, even the gluten free grains, you might be saying, well, Dr.
- 13:07J, don't you need fiber?
- 13:08Don't you need fiber to really eliminate, to increase motility, to get rid of, you know, constipation and bloating?
- 13:16My doctor told me I should eat grains, Because not only has starch, it has fiber, it has raffinose, don't you need it?
- 13:23So what grains are doing, and many people are sensitive to gluten, and I'm talking about all grains, gluten free or not, I don't care.
- 13:30Grains are grains are grains, because most of the time it's gluten free, and there's cross contaminant, and you're still reacting to it.
- 13:37So, some of those fibers we are ingesting cannot be digested.
- 13:42They are indigestible.
- 13:43Meaning, they are causing more gas and bloat.
- 13:45They are just staying there and hoping that Jesus will do something and then you will eliminate.
- 13:52Yeah.
- 13:52So fiber can literally make you bloated and gassy and constipated.
- 13:56so I'll do another Facebook live if you want between the, the different types of fibers and the ones that I recommend because I do believe all things are great for your body.
- 14:05If you have a stronger foundation, again, you just have to know, know what your body is asking for and give those things to your body and which is the missing piece from, you know, that many patients are missing.
- 14:16So we talk about spinach.
- 14:18No, we don't do spinach.
- 14:19All of you that are smoothing with spinach, change it.
- 14:22We'll talk about beans.
- 14:23Now I do for my patients that are trying to lose, I mean to gain weight, my cancer patients, my autoimmune patients, those that have severe digestive issues that cannot eat or drink.
- 14:36Yeah.
- 14:36I have patients that literally anything they eat and drink, they get pain, abdominal pain, anything.
- 14:41Now water, even water is causing them pain.
- 14:44So I will ask them to incorporate some green beans or green peas.
- 14:48but we do that after we identify the root causes, we address the inflammation, and we also like kind of start working on the foundation of healing the digestive system.
- 15:00so spinach.
- 15:01Again, spinach is so popular.
- 15:03It is the cheapest, the easiest greens on earth.
- 15:06Like everybody has spinach.
- 15:08And that also tells you how, what the quality is, If you can buy spinach at the fast food restaurant, how good that is, We're going to get rid of spinach beans.
- 15:17We're going to decrease beans as much as possible.
- 15:21Again, avoid lack of plate.
- 15:23I'm telling you, if you're a vegan vegetarian and your diet composed of beans, and you're not, Seeing the health, you know, experiencing the health that you wanted, you feel sick all of the time, look at the food you're eating, always go back to the food you're eating.
- 15:36That is step one.
- 15:38After identifying the root causes, you detox, like, look at the food you are eating.
- 15:42And then grains.
- 15:43Now you're going to say, well, Dr.
- 15:44J, this is the other question I get a lot.
- 15:46Dr.
- 15:46J, then you are removing all the food that are healthy, Like, the foods that are healthy, what do I eat?
- 15:52And I laugh because I'm like, Oh my God, I am a foodie.
- 15:54I love to eat there.
- 15:56There's a abundance of food out there.
- 15:59Like, there are so many options of food for you to eat.
- 16:03I mean, there's no lack and limitations of food, healthy foods for you to eat.
- 16:08So, always start with whole plant based, So, again, you work with a doctor, that doctor should be able to create a customized protocol for you after identifying those causes, your toxicity level, And then the digest your, your gut issues.
- 16:21So, but like the greens, you should have greens at every single meal, minus the spinach.
- 16:26I'm talking about the bitter greens, vegetables with every single meal.
- 16:30Like what about the yams?
- 16:32What about, uh, green bananas?
- 16:33What about, potatoes?
- 16:35Like these are food.
- 16:36There are so many things that are providing protein, Because if I'm asking you to stop eating grains and, you're gonna beans and you're going to say, well, how do I get my protein?
- 16:44You don't only have to get your protein from meat.
- 16:47You can get your protein from nuts and seeds and the greens.
- 16:51Many of them have a lot of protein, a lot of protein read the ingredients, You can get put in so like a protein pad, organic pea protein powder.
- 17:01That's also going to help you a clean one with no gum, no sugar.
- 17:05So there are so many options out there.
- 17:08I will ask you.
- 17:08Are you, is it, I mean, are you okay waking up every morning and suffering like the way you are now?
- 17:13Is it okay for you to be bloated and gassy and looking pregnant every day?
- 17:17Like your food is literally hurting you instead of helping you?
- 17:22If the answer is no, it's not okay with you, then you need to assess and evaluate what you're eating.
- 17:26So I recommend that you look into breath, So always start your day with something warm.
- 17:31That is something I've been preaching for the last 10 years, practicing as a functional medicine doctor.
- 17:36Always prep your digestive system, Increase vasodilation.
- 17:41Whether it's a cup of tea that is conducive to digestion, ginger.
- 17:44It's good.
- 17:45So many peppermint tea, mint tea, so many options out there.
- 17:49And then you can have broth in your vegetable broth, bone broth, depending on the food that you're eating, if you're vegetarian or not, you can add some tumeric, you can even drop some pieces of ginger.
- 17:59You can have so many things, cloves into that bone broth, like celery, put that baby in the microwave, start there.
- 18:06That's going to help with collagen production, And then you can do smoothie, a healthy nutrient dense protein packed smoothie.
- 18:14And then you can go into your lunch or your dinner while you're eating healthy food.
- 18:18There are so many options out there.
- 18:20You just have to, you just need to be open to the idea of changing what, what you're doing now, because whatever you're doing now might not give you the results that you're looking for.
- 18:28That's the awareness piece because many of us are not aware.
- 18:30We keep doing the same thing, The same thing.
- 18:34And then we're wondering why we are not feeling better.
- 18:37Well, let's examine what you're doing.
- 18:40Let's investigate the root causes.
- 18:42Let's journal and see what you did this morning, giving you the problem, you know, in the afternoon.
- 18:47What you did in the afternoon, giving you a problem at night.
- 18:49But if you are tired of feeling uncomfortable after your meals, If you're afraid of eating, I have patients that are literally running away from the food.
- 18:59I have a patient right now.
- 19:01All she does is drink tea all day long and she's tired.
- 19:05She's weak.
- 19:06Her muscles are, shrinking.
- 19:08She's foggy all the time.
- 19:10See, like she's here, but she's not here because everything she used to eat, everything was giving her pain, So we identified the root causes.
- 19:21We found that she has gastritis, inflammation of the lining of the stomach, All right, she has SIBO, she has SIFO, she has so many gut infections, like her foundation is inflamed.
- 19:32So of course, drinking water is going to irritate the lining, She's losing her hair.
- 19:37She has rashes, different part of her body, her liver enzymes are elevated, like she is literally suffering.
- 19:44And because of that, all she is feeding her body is just tea.
- 19:49She's afraid of eating.
- 19:51Because she's afraid of eating, she's not getting the nutrients, the macronutrients, the micronutrients, all the nutrients that her cells need, her body need to function for her.
- 20:01so a patient like that requires Intense monitoring, evaluation, a customized individualized protocol to help her restore the function of her gut.
- 20:14Because if your gut is not healthy, nothing else will be.
- 20:17I'm telling you, because you see, that's the thing we need to understand.
- 20:20We need our gut to function.
- 20:22We need the gut to function.
- 20:24How are you supposed to thrive in this life, thrive in your career, in your business?
- 20:29in your profession if you're foggy and tired all the time.
- 20:32How are you supposed to make babies if you don't have the nutrients to help create, healthy ovaries?
- 20:38How are you supposed to balance your hormones?
- 20:40How are you supposed to, how are you supposed to lose the weight if you're not eating?
- 20:43It ain't gonna happen, So I wanted to share with you the three foods I avoid like a plague.
- 20:48So the fourth one, we're gonna do a bonus one, is broccoli.
- 20:51Me, when I eat broccoli, I look pregnant and you will like literally congratulate me.
- 20:57You'll be like, well, Dr.
- 20:58J, congratulations, how many months are you?
- 21:00So I've discovered.
- 21:01Although I want to eat broccoli like crazy.
- 21:03I do.
- 21:04I love broccoli.
- 21:05He's healthy, but broccoli, because of the way it is grown, because our, our agriculture practices, farming practices, the food industry, I know that broccoli doesn't sit well with me.
- 21:16For me to eat it, I eat broccoli as a space holder, a filler, a gut filler, so it can fill me up.
- 21:22So I have to really boil that broccoli and like kill it.
- 21:25When I say kill it, like cook it until it's dead.
- 21:28So for me to use that as a space filler.
- 21:30So, but the other foods that I just mentioned, I don't eat them either.
- 21:34Spinach, it's a no no for me.
- 21:36Because again, histamine production, Oxalate formation, oxalate bounds to calcium, can lead to kidney issues.
- 21:43Stones, make it hard for you to digest.
- 21:46And also, it's just, it's so hard.
- 21:50It's gonna lead to gas and bloat.
- 21:52Beans, if it's not green beans or green peas, which I usually get from my Protein powder, my organic, lesser ingredient, clean, free protein powder, I don't eat beans either.
- 22:03I don't do legumes.
- 22:04Legumes are very, very gassy and bloat producing agent.
- 22:10And then grains.
- 22:11I don't think anybody should eat grains.
- 22:12Now, again, if you are trying to gain weight, There's some wiggle rooms with the grains, what is gluten free?
- 22:20What I think gluten free is just a way to market to us.
- 22:23That's a lie.
- 22:25Gluten free is a lie.
- 22:26I said here, I said gluten free is a lie.
- 22:28You don't eat the, you don't eat the grains to be healthy.
- 22:31If you have to eat grains, look at the quinoa.
- 22:34Quinoa is something that I eat here and there because I'm losing so much weight, weight loss is easy for me.
- 22:39I can incorporate some quinoa, but that's not something I'm eating every day, every day.
- 22:44When I eat quinoa, quinoa, I do add some anti inflammatory herbs in the food to cook, to cook it with.
- 22:52Because I am counteract the inflammation that it might cause.
- 22:56and I try my very best to source a quinoa that is very clean, because at the end of the day, organic doesn't mean it's 100 percent safe, very clean, very, I mean, very expensive.
- 23:08So that I know for sure that I am literally minimizing the gas and the bloat.
- 23:14If you have constipation, constipation is you not moving your bowels every day.
- 23:19if you move your bowels every other day, that's constipation.
- 23:21If you eat food, you gotta run to the bathroom, that is constipation.
- 23:24The food is going around.
- 23:25So if you are constipated and you already have slow motility, You need to avoid this food.
- 23:31They are decreasing your motility even more.
- 23:35It's just gonna sit there, and then the pathogen's gonna love you so much they're gonna ferment, Ferment on the food, and the next thing you know, your symptoms are increasing.
- 23:44You're feeling horrible and miserable every day.
- 23:46You can't find a solution.
- 23:48The blood test at your doctor's office is gonna be normal unless they identify the root causes and inflammatory markers.
- 23:54And then you have no solution.
- 23:56The acid reducing medication's gonna stop working.
- 23:59Besides, those medications, those Pepsid, prompt them, prompt them to inhibitors, like, you know, those, Omeprazole, Pentaprazole, Nexium, all those fancy medications supposed to be taken for two weeks.
- 24:10Not gonna work.
- 24:12If you don't decrease those food, you're creating pressure in your gut, allowing the flap that separates your stomach, your throat to your stomach to be loose, and then you have that food going into your stomach, into your throat, burning your throat.
- 24:23doesn't matter.
- 24:23If you want to lose weight, you have to look at what you're eating because whatever you're eating is adding more toxins to your fat cells and they are holding on to the toxins that release in them and then you find yourself gaining weight, even if it's water weight, inflammation weight.
- 24:38There are different types of weight people gain, even if it's hormone related.
- 24:42A lot of people with hormone imbalance also have gut issues.
- 24:46They go hand in hand, Your irregular menstrual cycles, your PMS, your, your moods, your hot flashes, menopause issues also have a digestive component to it.
- 24:58You fix your gut, you'll be able to allow other part of your bodies to create natural hormones because your ovaries are not the only organs that can create hormones for you, You allow those healthy cells to create hormones, and then you're going to have your natural.
- 25:12You know, your hormones balance naturally.
- 25:14So that's what I wanted to share with you again.
- 25:17I don't eat those foods.
- 25:19And that's why people will ask me so many times, how do you have a flat belly?
- 25:22Well, yes, I do work at the gym.
- 25:26I exercise, which is something I do for my health, but you don't have to go to the gym and do a hundred sit ups for your body to be flat.
- 25:33You don't.
- 25:34It starts with the food you put into your belly.
- 25:36you don't have to have a muffin top or gain weight around your hips area.
- 25:40It's not necessary.
- 25:42How do you have a flat belly?
- 25:44You pay attention to what you put into your body.
- 25:46You eliminate the gas producing foods, the bloat producing foods, the brain foggy producing foods, the anxiety producing foods, the hair loss producing, I think you got the, I think you got the picture.
- 25:58Yes.
- 25:58I do a lot of things, but I use food 95%.
- 26:03I do IV vitamin therapy.
- 26:04I used food 90 percent of the time for my health.
- 26:08And yes, it wasn't like that.
- 26:10I was just like you, struggling again, like killing myself in emergency room, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, SIBO, SIFO.
- 26:20At that time, SIBO and SIFO weren't even popular.
- 26:23I didn't know what the heck I had in my gut, bloated all the time.
- 26:28If you bloated, you're going to feel heavy.
- 26:29You're going to be sluggish.
- 26:30That was me.
- 26:31Lost my edges.
- 26:33Have acne.
- 26:34Like I am you.
- 26:36That was like 10 years ago until I discover what I'm sharing with you today on my platform.
- 26:41These are the things doctors are not telling you.
- 26:43If you're working with a nutritionist, they're going to tell you to eat grains.
- 26:46They'll be like, Oh yeah, my plate, use my plate.
- 26:49Your portion here for me, portion here for this.
- 26:52No.
- 26:53Like, absolutely not.
- 26:55Grains are healthy, make sure it's gluten free, we all have celiac disease.
- 27:00The answer is no.
- 27:01Eliminate.
- 27:03If you have autoimmune, eliminate all grains.
- 27:05All grains.
- 27:06There are so many other options out there for you.
- 27:08You don't have to eat grains, and beans, and spinach.
- 27:11They are healthy, but they are definitely destroying your gut, your digestive system slowly, and because they are healthy, you have no clue that could be these things.
- 27:22giving you the symptoms you are faced with today.
- 27:25So if you have any questions, you found this, video, this podcast, uh, that valuable, please share with other people.
- 27:33Cause I'm telling you, since we do ask my patients to do a 70 foot journal, I get this a lot.
- 27:39What, what do you mean?
- 27:40Spinach is not healthy.
- 27:41No, it's not healthy.
- 27:42You sure?
- 27:42I'm like, I'm sure.
- 27:43And then I asked him to move spinach out of the diet.
- 27:46Then you see the allergy symptoms decrease.
- 27:49They're using Zyrtec and, and Allegra and, you know, Zizor less, They're using the Ducin, the Acid with Ducin medication less.
- 27:57Yeah.
- 27:58You make changes, you're going to get results.
- 28:00If that change is valuable and beneficial to your body, your body is always going to tell you.
- 28:05And you take that information and continue.
- 28:07If you're making changes, you're still not feeling well, and you give it a good amount of time, you're doing everything you're supposed to do, And you're not feeling well, then you have to course correct.
- 28:17But if you're moving things, if you're suffering for a month, two months, three months, right, years, and you've been eating the same way, look at your diet.
- 28:26So I would really appreciate if you can share this information with others.
- 28:30I am on a mission to educate people, and I feel like that is the most, way I'm gonna make an impact.
- 28:36Because, again, a lot of people are not in the state that I work in, although we do provide telemedicine.
- 28:42But, you know, most people are not ready to incorporate functional medicine.
- 28:47They just want to get the information.
- 28:48And I would love, love, love, love, love if you can help me spread the words.
- 28:51that's the best way you can say thank you.
- 28:53Because I am literally going to bring to you all the things that your doctor should have told you, not telling you.
