Luke 13 which says someone asked him
• 0:17
Lord are only a few people going to be
• 0:20
saved and he said to them make every
• 0:22
effort to enter through the narrow door
• 0:25
because many I tell you will try to
• 0:26
enter will not be able to once the owner
• 0:29
of the house gets up and closes the door
• 0:31
  you'll stand outside knocking and
• 0:33
pleading sir open the door for us but he
• 0:37
will answer I don't know you or where
• 0:39
you come from then you'll say but we ate
• 0:42
and drank with you and you taught in our
• 0:44
streets he'll reply I don't know you or
• 0:47
where you come from away from me all you
• 0:51
evildoers there'll be weeping there and
• 0:53
nashing of teeth when you see Abraham
• 0:55
Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in
• 0:58
the kingdom of God but you yourselves
• 1:01
thrown out people will come from east
• 1:03
and west north and south and will take
• 1:05
their places at the feast in the kingdom
• 1:07
  of
• 1:09
God you know there are some these are
• 1:11
some of the most concerning words of God
• 1:14
recorded in all of scripture God has
• 1:17
asked directly if most people will go to
• 1:20
heaven or live forever with God in his
• 1:23
  eternal Kingdom and he answers
• 1:26
negatively this is not the messaging we
• 1:29
hear in the media or from most churches
• 1:32
God warns us that our works prove our
• 1:34
faith and when our works don't prove our
• 1:37
faith we'll stand condemned before him
• 1:40
for lack of faith for he will not
• 1:42
recognize us as his own make every
• 1:46
effort God says to enter the kingdom we
• 1:49
cannot become perfect which is the
• 1:51
  necessary requirement for entering God's
• 1:54
kingdom the perfect life of Jesus alone
• 1:57
appropriated to us through his resur
• 2:00
Resurrection by faith alone paid for our
• 2:04
failure to live perfectly at his
• 2:07
crucifixion that alone can save us our
• 2:11
faith in Jesus alone is proven by our
• 2:13
love for God as evidenced by our
• 2:16
obedience to God if you love me Jesus
• 2:19
said you will obey my commands Jesus
• 2:22
warns us that going to church and
• 2:24
receiving communion doesn't make us the
• 2:26
people of God believing in Jesus doesn't
• 2:30
make us the people of God he further
• 2:32
  warns obedience to Jesus demonstrates
• 2:36
our love for Jesus which proves our
• 2:38
  relationship to Jesus demonstrating we
• 2:41
are the children of God the great evil
• 2:44
we do today is ignoring the word of God
• 2:48
by failing to do the work of God God's
• 2:51
work the building of his kingdom on
• 2:53
Earth as it is in heaven is not getting
• 2:56
done by the church the world exhibits
• 2:59
more ignorant and Rebellion against God
• 3:01
than ever before the evidence of the
• 3:03
church not doing its job proving that
• 3:06
most in the church do not love God most
• 3:09
because they are not doing his work
• 3:11
first we must make every effort to enter
• 3:15
the kingdom of God by focusing first and
• 3:18
foremost on loving God and doing his
• 3:20
will this is the only true response to
• 3:23
his work done for us at the cross to
• 3:26
reconcile us to God for living with him
