- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 1: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Okay, it is time. 102.7 KISS FM Los Angeles. Good morning, everybody.
- 0:19Speaker 1: We're here. Good morning.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Man, am I outnumbered.
- 0:23Speaker 3: That's right.
- 0:25Speaker 2: One, two, three, four, five, six against one.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I wouldn't look at it as against.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Sorry. Also, you have Tubbs.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Six informing one. Tubbs doesn't even listen to the show
- 0:37Speaker 2: over there. Yes, he does.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Do not talk bad about.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Tubbs, what did we talk about yesterday? What was it?
- 0:41Speaker 2: What was most striking to you yesterday? By the way,
- 0:44Speaker 2: it's six informing me to one. I liked when you
- 0:49Speaker 2: guys were talking about Audrey Hilbert. Or you liked it
- 0:52Speaker 2: when we were talking about the artist Audrey Hilbert. Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 2: What was it that you liked about that conversation? It
- 0:57Speaker 2: was just very captivating. Was it? Yeah. But what struck
- 1:01Speaker 2: you in that? See what I'm saying? He was over
- 1:03Speaker 2: there having an omelet. Always.
- 1:05Speaker 1: He was having potatoes the other day.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Listening to spa music or something. A little country potatoes. Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I was like, it smells like potatoes in here.
- 1:12Speaker 2: You know, country potatoes. Who? Who brings country potatoes in
- 1:18Speaker 2: a styrofoam container?
- 1:19Speaker 3: What's wrong with country potatoes to work? You guys need
- 1:22Speaker 3: to loosen up.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Eat before or after.
- 1:25Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:26Speaker 2: We don't do it during.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 3: We kind of do do it during.
- 1:30Speaker 1: No, I never eat during.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Actually, we don't eat during. Do you eat during?
- 1:33Speaker 4: No.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Yeah, when we're playing songs or we go to the bathroom,
- 1:36Speaker 3: get myself a little kiwi, have an egg.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we don't. Anyway, good morning and welcome to
- 1:42Speaker 2: the show. Sunny and hot. Highs in the mid-90s. 104 inland.
- 1:46Speaker 2: 104 inland. Some of the highs.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:50Speaker 2: It's too much. And it's Halloween. 104. Update! Olivia Rodrigo and...
- 1:58Speaker 2: Drop dead on 102.7 Kiss FM. Who is the most
- 2:01Speaker 2: A-type personality here?
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, we're about to really separate the type A's from
- 2:06Speaker 1: the type B's.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Who is a type? Would you say you're a type A, Tanya?
- 2:10Speaker 3: I'd say I'm type B.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Okay. I think I'm a type A, but then Sisney
- 2:16Speaker 2: might be a type AA-er. Because I do like things
- 2:21Speaker 2: to be organized and in order and I'm distracted when
- 2:24Speaker 2: things are not. And I was not always like that.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I don't know what happened to me, but that happened.
- 2:28Speaker 2: And this is me. You strike me as artistic and abstract,
- 2:33Speaker 2: but then you throw stuff like this at me and
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'm confused by you.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I think I'm very type a, but I'm also my
- 2:38Speaker 1: B type C, which is just like a little bit
- 2:41Speaker 1: in between.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Is there a type C for sure?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Why can't there be, there's every letter of the alphabet, right?
- 2:47Speaker 1: That's right, Tanya.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Good start. Explain what you do.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I just want to see where everyone lands on this
- 2:56Speaker 1: because I like to completely clean out my inbox where
- 3:01Speaker 1: my emails are every day. Almost like as they come in.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I don't like to ever have unopened, unread emails, anything
- 3:09Speaker 1: like that. I have separate folders for them. Everything gets categorized.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Why do you.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Feel the need to reply immediately?
- 3:17Speaker 1: No, it's not even about replying immediately. I read it
- 3:20Speaker 1: and if I have to reply, I will reply or
- 3:22Speaker 1: I'll put it in its section where I will, it's
- 3:23Speaker 1: like my to-do section.
- 3:24Speaker 2: But you won't let it sit unread?
- 3:27Speaker 1: I will not have it sit unread. I will file
- 3:29Speaker 1: it away, essentially. But then how do you know to
- 3:31Speaker 1: get back to it? Because I have a to-do section.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's my pin section. So those are my emails that
- 3:36Speaker 1: I have to do. I'm telling you, it is like
- 3:38Speaker 1: mental health, like cleanliness.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Okay, Ruby, you do this?
- 3:42Speaker 3: No, I have like 658 emails right now.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I couldn't live like that either. That I couldn't live
- 3:49Speaker 2: like either. I actually, I think I still have an
- 3:51Speaker 2: out of office reply on my email.
- 3:54Speaker 3: And your text messages.
- 3:55Speaker 2: No, that I took off. I had to take that
- 3:58Speaker 2: off because then people think I've left the planet, gone
- 4:00Speaker 2: to Mars or something, but they're out of office on
- 4:03Speaker 2: the email. I do keep that up even when I'm
- 4:06Speaker 2: not out of the office. So I think that's great
- 4:09Speaker 2: that you do that, but it would drive me crazy
- 4:12Speaker 2: to have to reorganize into files.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Try making folders.
- 4:16Speaker 3: It's really nice.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I don't want to make a folder. I do not
- 4:19Speaker 2: need one more admin thing.
- 4:20Speaker 1: No, it's so great.
- 4:22Speaker 3: No, the way you do it is you keep them
- 4:24Speaker 3: unread until you're ready to respond. And then you read
- 4:27Speaker 3: it and you respond.
- 4:28Speaker 2: See, the problem is if I open it, I'll need
- 4:30Speaker 2: to respond immediately or I'll forget to respond and it'll
- 4:32Speaker 2: just go down in my chain.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Open up your email, Ryan. Let me see how many
- 4:36Speaker 1: unread just right now you have. Early this morning. All right.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Let's check it out. No, show us.
- 4:43Speaker 3: We don't want to. No, that's wrong. Click out of that.
- 4:47Speaker 3: We don't need to see your emails. Do your main
- 4:49Speaker 3: page like this.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Just like when you look at the icon, when you
- 4:53Speaker 1: see the icon on your phone, what's the number?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Mine says 12.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It doesn't have a number.
- 4:58Speaker 1: You turn that off?
- 4:59Speaker 2: I have 1,892. Ryan Seacrest.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You're worse than Ruby.
- 5:04Speaker 2: That's bad, huh? That's bad.
- 5:08Speaker 3: 1,892.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Well, I'll get back to you at some point. Thanks
- 5:11Speaker 2: for calling. Come in next Monday. That's a lot, I guess.
- 5:15Speaker 2: That's a lot. My bad on it if you didn't
- 5:18Speaker 2: get a reply.
- 5:18Speaker 3: My bad. My bad.
- 5:20Speaker 2: You know, it's always fascinating to learn the intricacies of
- 5:24Speaker 2: everybody here. I never thought Ruby and I were aligned
- 5:26Speaker 2: in this very facet. But if we're invited to something,
- 5:30Speaker 2: we eat at home before we go to their dinner.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Why?
- 5:33Speaker 2: I do this all of the time because generally I'm
- 5:37Speaker 2: a picky eater.
- 5:39Speaker 4: I'm not even a picky eater. I think my mom
- 5:42Speaker 4: just always accustomed. She'd be like, even one taco. She's like,
- 5:46Speaker 4: un taquito, just one little taco before you go because
- 5:49Speaker 4: you'd never want to be somewhere and be hungry. Waiting
- 5:53Speaker 4: for the food, you know, like waiting around for the
- 5:54Speaker 4: food or you don't like the food because you are picky.
- 5:58Speaker 2: So I do it because people eat too late. Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Number one. Number two, I am a little bit picky.
- 6:05Speaker 2: And number three, if I'm hungry and I haven't eaten
- 6:08Speaker 2: and I eat at their house, I'm embarrassed to ask
- 6:11Speaker 2: for more.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Like I am that guy that when they pass it
- 6:14Speaker 2: around a second time, I take it.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But then if you're full, isn't it rude to not
- 6:19Speaker 1: eat their food?
- 6:20Speaker 2: I don't fill myself up. It's just like an appetite.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I put enough in the tank. So I'm not so
- 6:25Speaker 2: hungry when I get to their place and I eat
- 6:27Speaker 2: decently at their home, but I often come home and
- 6:30Speaker 2: eat again.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I love to eat.
- 6:36Speaker 2: It is so crazy to me. I'll, I'll just float
- 6:40Speaker 2: it out there every once in a while to my friends. Hey,
- 6:42Speaker 2: You ever late night snack? No, never do that. I'm like, gosh,
- 6:46Speaker 2: I come home all the time and stand in front
- 6:49Speaker 2: of my pantry and look at bags and open one
- 6:53Speaker 2: and taste some stuff. And I put it back and
- 6:55Speaker 2: try another one more often than you think.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I know that's a guy thing. My husband does the
- 6:59Speaker 1: same thing. And it's just like, he just like pours nuts,
- 7:02Speaker 1: pours pistachios.
- 7:03Speaker 2: We got to have something in our hand, man. The
- 7:07Speaker 2: crunch crunch. I got to crunch something, bro. I'm not
- 7:10Speaker 2: a bro. Totally. You know what I'm going to do?
- 7:13Speaker 2: I'm going to get home and crunch my nuts. Always.
- 7:16Speaker 3: My favorite are toasted almonds.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It always comes back to the nuts.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Always comes back. It's crunchy stuff. Crunchy almonds. It's true.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Do you not like a crunch as much?
- 7:25Speaker 1: I love a crunch.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 3: I don't need a crunch. I prefer a soft.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Okay. All right. I really love a hard pretzel or
- 7:33Speaker 2: a salty toasted nut.
- 7:34Speaker 3: You don't like a peanut butter?
- 7:36Speaker 2: Peanut butter, late night, gets stuck in my tongue and
- 7:39Speaker 2: teeth and stuff. It's too difficult. Almond skin does too. Anyway, Ruby,
- 7:43Speaker 2: we are aligned. And I will not invite you over
- 7:45Speaker 2: for dinner. To eat. Coming up. If you get out
- 7:53Speaker 2: of bed by this time, everything in life they say
- 7:56Speaker 2: will be better. I'll tell you what it is now.
- 7:59Speaker 2: It's 102.7 KISS FM. Okay, so if you get out
- 8:02Speaker 2: of bed by this time, science says you're less stressed,
- 8:09Speaker 2: you do better at work, And you're physically and mentally healthier.
- 8:13Speaker 2: And that time is 6.58.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Nice.
- 8:19Speaker 2: 6.58. You know, I'm going to argue that. I'm going
- 8:24Speaker 2: to say that if I didn't have to wake up
- 8:27Speaker 2: at a certain time, I would be all better in
- 8:29Speaker 2: those things. But the fact that we do have to
- 8:31Speaker 2: get up makes those things less optimistic. I feel like
- 8:35Speaker 2: I wake up at this time on the weekends, though. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 2: but even if you wake up, I like to wake
- 8:40Speaker 2: up at five something on a Saturday knowing I've got
- 8:43Speaker 2: all morning to do nothing.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 2: It's that knowing you don't have to go. Like it's
- 8:48Speaker 2: the rush, right? Like when we have to get up
- 8:50Speaker 2: at five or 430, because the clock starts ticking.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Every minute.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. So try that. Today's quote, to be happy,
- 9:00Speaker 2: you must eliminate two things, Tanya. The fear of a
- 9:05Speaker 2: bad future. And the memory of a bad past. So
- 9:09Speaker 2: you must have amnesia.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Means live in the present.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Right now. Don't think about anything else. It's KISS. All right,
- 9:15Speaker 2: it's KISS FM. Now, the sold-out Jingle Ball that we
- 9:18Speaker 2: just announced, already tickets gone, presented by Capital One. We
- 9:21Speaker 2: are going to get you tickets. If you want to win,
- 9:23Speaker 2: we will play Is It Pierced? The Jingle Ball Edition.
- 9:28Speaker 2: So call me now if you want to play that
- 9:29Speaker 2: right after 7. KISS FM. Let's hit the headlines, Tanya.
- 9:32Speaker 2: KISS FM Headlines with Tanya Radd.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Well, authorities launched a criminal investigation into possible hazardous waste
- 9:40Speaker 3: violations at the burned lineage warehouse in Boyle Heights. State
- 9:44Speaker 3: and local leaders announced a push for legislation to create
- 9:47Speaker 3: federal tax incentives to bring entertainment production back to the
- 9:51Speaker 3: United States. The Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves three to
- 9:55Speaker 3: one yesterday. A win today would advance them to the
- 9:58Speaker 3: National League Championship Series. for the third straight season. And
- 10:02Speaker 3: Children's Hospital LA is kicking off its annual Halloween card drive.
- 10:06Speaker 3: And the LA Kings pledge to donate $ 1 for every
- 10:09Speaker 3: card sent by October 30th.
- 10:15Speaker 2: So I got Kelly on the phone right before we
- 10:17Speaker 2: pay some bills. Jingle Ball, we made the announcement, and
- 10:20Speaker 2: the tickets literally went sold out immediately. So the only
- 10:23Speaker 2: way in now is to win your tickets. Kelly, are
- 10:26Speaker 2: you ready to play Is It Pierced? The Jingle Ball Edition,
- 10:30Speaker 2: and hi to you.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Ryan, I am so ready.
- 10:33Speaker 2: It's time to play Is It Pierced? Jingle Ball Edition.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So the name says it all. I'm going to name
- 10:41Speaker 2: an artist. It's playing at our Jingle Ball. And you
- 10:45Speaker 2: just tell me if this part is pierced or not.
- 10:50Speaker 2: You're much hit. All right. Okay. Here we go. First,
- 10:55Speaker 2: Kelly in L.A., Olivia Rodrigo's eyebrow. Is it pierced?
- 11:02Speaker 3: No.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It is not pierced. That is correct. No.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:05Speaker 2: All right. Up next. Thank you. Sienna Spyro's belly button.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Is it pierced or not pierced? Yes. Tanya?
- 11:19Speaker 3: I don't know the answer.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Oh, it's not pierced.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's not?
- 11:24Speaker 2: It is not pierced. Why are you so shocked by that?
- 11:26Speaker 3: I thought it was pierced, too. I play along with
- 11:28Speaker 3: the listener.
- 11:29Speaker 2: All right. Next one. Hilary Duff's left helix. Is it
- 11:35Speaker 2: pierced or not pierced?
- 11:39Speaker 5: Um, first tell me what is a helix?
- 11:41Speaker 2: That is a good question. I forget.
- 11:43Speaker 1: It's kind of like right where it turns into cartilage
- 11:45Speaker 1: on your ear. If you're going up the ear.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Um, I'm going to give that a yes.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It is pierced. Well done.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Nice.
- 11:55Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:56Speaker 2: So you got to get one more.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Okay.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Bella K's tongue. Is that pierced or not pierced? Bella
- 12:06Speaker 2: K's tongue.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Um, I'm going to say yes.
- 12:12Speaker 2: It is not.
- 12:13Speaker 3: That's what I was thinking too.
- 12:17Speaker 2: All right. Freya Skye's inner conch. Is that pierced or
- 12:23Speaker 2: not pierced?
- 12:24Speaker 3: I thought conch was in the ocean.
- 12:25Speaker 2: It is. That is also a conch.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Oh, it's like in the inner center part of your ear.
- 12:31Speaker 2: This is a part of the ear again.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yes. That's a very beautiful piercing by the way.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I'm going to give that one a yes as well.
- 12:40Speaker 2: You're correct. You did it. You got there. You did it.
- 12:44Speaker 2: She pierced it last summer. It was all over the news. Kelly, congratulations.
- 12:50Speaker 2: You're going to our sold-out Jingle Ball.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Thank you, everybody.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Thank you. We'll see you there.
- 12:54Speaker 3: That was hard.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Yes, you will.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Thank you, guys.
- 12:57Speaker 2: You know what's interesting? Thank you. I often learn anatomy
- 12:59Speaker 2: by playing that game every year. Right? I didn't know
- 13:01Speaker 2: the nuances of the ear until we gave Jingle Ball
- 13:03Speaker 2: tickets away.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I didn't know where the conch was until we really
- 13:06Speaker 1: had to dig deep.
- 13:06Speaker 2: By the way, I forget every year. I lose track
- 13:08Speaker 2: of it, and then I remember all the conch of
- 13:10Speaker 2: the ear. Right. It is also a shell with a
- 13:12Speaker 2: fish inside that I've gone diving for to fry.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You have?
- 13:16Speaker 2: That's right. That is right.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You went one time diving.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I went one time diving for conch, and I got
- 13:21Speaker 2: the conch out, and I fried it. It's a conch fritter.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You dive. Like, you don't.
- 13:25Speaker 2: With everything that I have done once, I do.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Oh.
- 13:29Speaker 2: LARPing. I surf.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You surfed.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Once. Makes me a surfer. It's Kiss FM LA. All right.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Tanya has this trending report. It just fascinates me every time.
- 13:44Speaker 2: That Sisney is so alarmed by the feeling that one
- 13:47Speaker 2: could be friendly with an ex in a relationship.
- 13:51Speaker 3: No, don't say friendly. Friends. Friendly is different.
- 13:56Speaker 2: You had bad relationships.
- 13:58Speaker 3: No.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I had good relationships.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I had great relationships-ish.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Well, then why do you not talk to them?
- 14:03Speaker 1: Because I don't care.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Well, I care still.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you see?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Anya, why do you bring this up?
- 14:08Speaker 3: Okay, I bring it up because we all know Taylor
- 14:11Speaker 3: Swift dropped the encore to The Life of a Showgirl.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Fans have been detective on all the songs, so I
- 14:16Speaker 3: wanted to focus on Pink Clouding.
- 14:19Speaker 2: What is Pink Clouding?
- 14:20Speaker 3: If you haven't heard the term, her song is called
- 14:22Speaker 3: Pink Clouding.
- 14:22Speaker 2: What do you do as a verb?
- 14:24Speaker 3: It's the period of pure euphoria where everything feels perfect
- 14:28Speaker 3: and you're floating. It's basically right before reality kicks in.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Sunny Moon phase?
- 14:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 3: In the song, Taylor basically admits that she left an
- 14:35Speaker 3: ex up on that pink cloud, walked away without really
- 14:38Speaker 3: explaining why. And now years later, she regrets hurting someone
- 14:41Speaker 3: who was a good person. She even says that she
- 14:44Speaker 3: hopes he landed safely on the ground. Some think it's
- 14:47Speaker 3: about Harry Styles. Other people say that it's about Tom Hiddleston.
- 14:50Speaker 3: I think it's more about Tom Hiddleston just because of
- 14:54Speaker 3: the similarities to Getaway Car. But that's not the point.
- 14:57Speaker 3: So it's definitely not about Travis Kelsey. But it got
- 14:59Speaker 3: me thinking about if there's somebody from your past that
- 15:01Speaker 3: you feel like you left kind of hanging without an
- 15:03Speaker 3: explanation or that you would want to reach out two
- 15:05Speaker 3: years later and say, sorry.
- 15:07Speaker 4: No.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 2: No.
- 15:08Speaker 1: For me too. Like just close those doors.
- 15:13Speaker 2: I didn't close the doors. I mean, I just, I check,
- 15:17Speaker 2: we check in on each other all the time. Our exes,
- 15:19Speaker 2: my exes.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 15:26Speaker 2: It's not, I just got a text. I was in
- 15:28Speaker 2: communication with two exes yesterday. And I felt great about it.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Are they single? Are they with people?
- 15:33Speaker 3: Good question.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I don't ask that question. I don't want to know
- 15:36Speaker 2: that question. And I don't ask that question. Why is
- 15:41Speaker 2: it sticky?
- 15:41Speaker 1: I think it's sticky because you want to keep the
- 15:43Speaker 1: door ajar for possibilities.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm going to repeat what I've said to you before.
- 15:47Speaker 2: When you spend a chapter of your life, somebody... They
- 15:51Speaker 2: have helped you in several ways to grow and to
- 15:54Speaker 2: learn and to respect that I think is important.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I don't even remember anything about my exes at this point.
- 16:00Speaker 2: What do you want to know?
- 16:01Speaker 3: I want to know who these two you're texting are.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Not recent, recent ish. spectrum spectrum but i think i
- 16:11Speaker 2: like and i like knowing that we can be in
- 16:14Speaker 2: contact in a loving friendly way and what is.
- 16:17Speaker 1: It like hi how you doing like what do you
- 16:19Speaker 1: actually text what.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Asked me where am i working out these days uh
- 16:23Speaker 2: another one like the beach some dog questions.
- 16:25Speaker 1: So they both want something from you.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Friendliness That's not friendly.
- 16:31Speaker 1: People just ask for things.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I give great advice, obviously. They want
- 16:36Speaker 2: the connection. Don't you ever hear it? Anyway. 102.7. It
- 16:43Speaker 2: is Kiss FM. I'm going to grab Taylor and Sherman Oaks. Taylor,
- 16:46Speaker 2: thank you for listening to us. Ryan Seacrest, everybody here
- 16:49Speaker 2: in the morning. How can we help you?
- 16:51Speaker 5: Okay, so I've been dating my boyfriend for about a
- 16:53Speaker 5: year now. And whenever we're with his parents, they speak
- 16:58Speaker 5: Farsi to each other pretty much the entire time. Yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 5: so I totally understand that it's their language. I would
- 17:08Speaker 5: never expect them to stop speaking it. It just sometimes
- 17:12Speaker 5: feels like I'm completely lost when they're having a conversation
- 17:15Speaker 5: around me. And sometimes I'm worried that it's about me.
- 17:19Speaker 5: And I don't know what they're talking about.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I understand that not being able to understand makes you
- 17:24Speaker 2: think it could be something like that. Now, I doubt
- 17:27Speaker 2: they're constantly talking about you in front of you. Right.
- 17:30Speaker 2: But it's possible they have said something about you in
- 17:33Speaker 2: front of you. I have a friend that speaks Dutch.
- 17:41Speaker 2: And when we were out, she would hear other Dutch
- 17:43Speaker 2: people talking about us because they didn't know she spoke Dutch.
- 17:48Speaker 2: That created an awkward scenario. Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 3: My parents do that too. They speak Serbian when they're
- 17:53Speaker 3: like saying stuff about somebody that's around.
- 17:56Speaker 2: So until they're sitting next to Serbians and all of
- 17:58Speaker 2: a sudden they're in, you know, they're being decoded.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Correct.
- 18:02Speaker 2: So is it not appropriate to tell your partner that
- 18:07Speaker 2: it makes you just feel a little left out, you know?
- 18:10Speaker 2: And if, if, if you could be included, it would
- 18:13Speaker 2: be a little bit more comfortable. Right. Yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 5: And I just I asked him, I'm like, could you
- 18:18Speaker 5: speak English when, you know, I'm part of the conversation
- 18:22Speaker 5: so that I can be involved? And he just he
- 18:25Speaker 5: got really offended. And yeah, he took it. He did
- 18:29Speaker 5: not take it great.
- 18:30Speaker 2: So let me give you I have another couple friend
- 18:33Speaker 2: of mine to speak Farsi. They only fight in Farsi.
- 18:37Speaker 2: So maybe they're not talking about you. They only argue. Yeah,
- 18:39Speaker 2: they fight. They argue in Farsi. They don't talk nice
- 18:44Speaker 2: to anybody. They get mad at each other. I can
- 18:47Speaker 2: tell by the look on their face.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Actually, I think you're right on.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, right? You know who you are? A
- 18:54Speaker 2: couple friend of mine that do this to each other
- 18:56Speaker 2: in front of me. Like, I can't tell you're fighting
- 18:59Speaker 2: body language. Anyway, good luck, Taylor. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 19:07Speaker 2: My star boy. This is kiss FM, LA Tanya, this
- 19:10Speaker 2: social media trend that you normally would do on your partner.
- 19:13Speaker 2: You want to try it on me?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:15Speaker 3: It doesn't really, I made up that made it up.
- 19:17Speaker 3: It doesn't really have a name. They don't like have names,
- 19:19Speaker 3: but okay.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Well, what, why, why, why don't you do it on
- 19:22Speaker 2: your partner?
- 19:23Speaker 3: I'm going to do it to him too.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Don't you worry. Do you want to test it with me? Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I want to test the concept of this trend.
- 19:29Speaker 3: So basically it's like you ask us, What color am I?
- 19:35Speaker 3: What flower am I? What season am I?
- 19:38Speaker 2: I ask you? Yeah.
- 19:40Speaker 1: So start with color. Yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Well, how do you even come up with an answer?
- 19:44Speaker 1: I have answers.
- 19:45Speaker 3: You have my color? I have answers. have what we
- 19:50Speaker 3: think and then we'll debate it out and then we'll decide.
- 19:52Speaker 2: So what color are you?
- 19:56Speaker 1: No, not me.
- 19:57Speaker 2: You. What color are you? What? What do you want
- 20:03Speaker 2: from me?
- 20:03Speaker 1: You can take a horse to water. You can't get
- 20:05Speaker 1: him to drink it.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You just say literally verbatim. What color am I?
- 20:10Speaker 3: Go.
- 20:12Speaker 2: What color am I?
- 20:14Speaker 5: Great.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Stop. Okay.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Do I go first?
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay. Beige. Have you guys played this game before? No.
- 20:21Speaker 2: What's wrong with beige? That's so boring.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Okay, I say green because your eyes are green and
- 20:25Speaker 3: you look really good when you wear green.
- 20:27Speaker 1: It's too obvious.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I definitely like Tanya's answer better than beige. No way.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Beige is like... I'm thinking Sandy.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Beige is boredom. No, it's like beige pants.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Beige is blend in.
- 20:37Speaker 3: It's giving.
- 20:38Speaker 1: beige is it's giving lack of color.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Okay fine you didn't like the color everything beige i
- 20:47Speaker 2: love beige well boring yeah i'm not boring though okay
- 20:51Speaker 2: what number am i no not no no what's the
- 20:54Speaker 2: next question what flower.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Am i dare i go first um orchid.
- 21:01Speaker 3: I am not an orchid.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you are.
- 21:03Speaker 1: You're so beautiful.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Don't say things like that.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I think that you are a succulent because you don't
- 21:09Speaker 3: require a lot of tender, loving care, but you give
- 21:12Speaker 3: a lot.
- 21:13Speaker 2: She's right again. I am a succulent. I'm a contemporary
- 21:18Speaker 2: architectural succulent. Okay. What's next? What season am I? Yes.
- 21:24Speaker 2: What am I?
- 21:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Summer.
- 21:27Speaker 3: I said summer too, so that you can be sure.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You're wrong. December.
- 21:30Speaker 1: No.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Christmas guy.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I get that you're a Christmas guy, but I feel
- 21:34Speaker 1: like you thrive in summer. Yeah, you're so summer. You
- 21:36Speaker 1: love wearing your hoochie daddy shorts.
- 21:38Speaker 2: My hoochie daddy shorts do come on pretty strong in
- 21:40Speaker 2: the summer.
- 21:41Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 21:44Speaker 1: You're more relaxed in the summer. I feel like our
- 21:46Speaker 1: shows are different in the summer.
- 21:47Speaker 2: You're not as stressed. Winter me is tense.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Very tense.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Yes. Yes. See? All right. What have I learned? What's
- 21:56Speaker 2: the point?
- 21:57Speaker 3: And then one more, what dog am I?
- 21:58Speaker 1: Oh, I was going to do food.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Well, we only have so much time before the show's over.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I think people are entertained.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I have the perfect dog for you.
- 22:07Speaker 2: What dog am I?
- 22:08Speaker 1: I think you're a golden retriever. I said golden retriever too!
- 22:13Speaker 2: I will take that. I have a Labrador. I love
- 22:15Speaker 2: my Labrador. And they say you're a lot like your dog. Yes. Now,
- 22:19Speaker 2: what am I supposed to take away from this for
- 22:21Speaker 2: real life?
- 22:21Speaker 3: I don't know, just post it and like it's cute trend. Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 1: For food, I was going to say sardine.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Oh, I was going to say olive oil. That is
- 22:30Speaker 2: not a food. It's not? Okay, no. It's a condiment.
- 22:34Speaker 1: You love sardines.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I love sardines, but I don't think they're attractive. Sardines
- 22:39Speaker 2: stink and are ugly. I am not a sardine. What
- 22:42Speaker 2: color am I? Beige? I'm a summer sea bass. Enjoy
- 22:48Speaker 2: it with olive oil and lime or lemon.
- 22:50Speaker 1: That is your favorite food.
- 22:52Speaker 2: It's not my favorite food. I eat... sardines for omega threes.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah he's definitely a burger.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I'm not a burger he's not a burger yes he
- 23:02Speaker 2: is like no yeah i'm a fish du jour.
- 23:05Speaker 1: He's a branzino whatever that is i am sounds great
- 23:10Speaker 1: i'm a muffin top in the winter all right olivia rodrigo.
- 23:15Speaker 2: 102.7 it's kiss fm well we asked the genie For
- 23:22Speaker 2: Halloween to be on a Saturday. And the genie granted
- 23:24Speaker 2: our wish. We asked the genie to not change the clocks.
- 23:29Speaker 2: And the genie may be granting our wish. Maybe. In
- 23:32Speaker 2: the state of California. Is it a state thing or
- 23:34Speaker 2: a federal thing?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Yeah, because there's some states that don't change their clocks.
- 23:37Speaker 2: All right. So this is the state. Many of us
- 23:41Speaker 2: have said, let's just keep the same time and not
- 23:43Speaker 2: throw everything off.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 23:45Speaker 2: We're closer than ever before to that becoming real, right?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yes, because the House passed this bill this summer, actually,
- 23:52Speaker 1: that would make daylight saving time permanent. So basically, we
- 23:56Speaker 1: would stay on the spring-forward period. Schedule year-round. Does that
- 24:00Speaker 1: mean it's lighter sooner? And we would stop falling back. Yeah,
- 24:03Speaker 1: so you know how in three and a half weeks,
- 24:04Speaker 1: we're going to have to change our clocks back.
- 24:06Speaker 2: It's dark till late.
- 24:07Speaker 3: And that's what I was saying.
- 24:08Speaker 1: No, no, no. Did you not listen to what I
- 24:10Speaker 1: just said? We would stay on the spring forward. So
- 24:13Speaker 1: we wouldn't change. We wouldn't fall back.
- 24:15Speaker 2: So does that mean the sun sets later?
- 24:16Speaker 1: The sun would set later.
- 24:18Speaker 2: And the sun rises early.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Because you know right now, when we change back, it's
- 24:21Speaker 1: going to set.
- 24:21Speaker 2: At like 4.30pm. I don't hate that now that we
- 24:25Speaker 2: think about it.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I don't like it. I'm like, my kids are still
- 24:29Speaker 1: playing sports outside.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Like it's not, I remember when I was playing football
- 24:33Speaker 2: back in the day, it would get dark during practice.
- 24:35Speaker 2: She's like, what is four 45?
- 24:36Speaker 1: I know. So then we wouldn't have that.
- 24:39Speaker 2: It would, but now hold on. This is the, there's
- 24:41Speaker 2: a loophole that this is not going to happen.
- 24:43Speaker 1: The Senate is not actually in session between now and
- 24:47Speaker 1: when we turn the clocks back on November 1st. So
- 24:49Speaker 1: it's definitely not happening this year, but like, but it
- 24:51Speaker 1: still has to pass again. I know, but I feel
- 24:54Speaker 1: like it's ever been. Thank you.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I would, this is something I would not resist. Actually,
- 24:58Speaker 2: I would not resist it. If this happens, let's go
- 25:01Speaker 2: with it. It does. I do think, didn't you just
- 25:03Speaker 2: tell me I'm a summer guy?
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you are.
- 25:05Speaker 2: My season is summer. So my season would, our season,
- 25:08Speaker 2: the clocks would be with us all the right season. This,
- 25:11Speaker 2: the sun still.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Sets later and later, but it just wouldn't be just
- 25:14Speaker 1: so drastic when it happens in November.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I find it alarmingly drastic and rigid when it changes.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And I agree with you.
- 25:22Speaker 2: And Arizona and Hawaii, well, you know who you are. Luckies.
- 25:27Speaker 2: They don't do the clock thing.
- 25:28Speaker 1: No, and changing your microwave in your car, it's so annoying.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Actually, my microwave locks on me all the time,
- 25:35Speaker 2: and now the sound has been turned off. I can't
- 25:36Speaker 2: figure out how to get the sound. So I microwave,
- 25:38Speaker 2: and I don't know when it's over.
- 25:39Speaker 1: You probably just have to hold the lock button down
- 25:41Speaker 1: for three seconds.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I don't know what the deal is. Somehow the sound
- 25:43Speaker 2: is off. The beep, beep, beep.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Do you want the beep, beep?
- 25:46Speaker 2: Oh, I need to know when it's done, because I
- 25:47Speaker 2: walk away from it.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Oh, I won't even do that.
- 25:50Speaker 2: No beeps. I have no beeping microwave now. Between that
- 25:55Speaker 2: and the clocks, it's a disaster at home.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Take a picture of your microwave and put it in
- 25:58Speaker 1: ChatGPT and say, how can I put the.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Beeps back on? No, they save all the photos. They
- 26:00Speaker 2: told me. Who cares? Well, I don't know what they're
- 26:03Speaker 2: going to do with my microwave photo.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I think it's fine.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Might end up in a microwave chat. It's 102.7 KISS FM.
- 26:13Speaker 2: You know, I don't often finish a book. I just
- 26:16Speaker 2: want to tell you that. I start a book, but
- 26:19Speaker 2: I rarely actually get to the end of it. I'm
- 26:21Speaker 2: not that person. I like a book. I like to
- 26:24Speaker 2: get a new book. I like to get excited about
- 26:26Speaker 2: starting it, and then I lose interest.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I'm concerned for myself as well.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm like that with physical books, but I can finish
- 26:33Speaker 1: an Audible.
- 26:34Speaker 2: That's not reading a book.
- 26:37Speaker 1: It's consuming the information.
- 26:39Speaker 2: No, it's occupying time when you're doing something boring.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm still understanding, listening to the book, so I know
- 26:45Speaker 1: what happened.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You can't compare finishing an audible to finishing reading. By
- 26:49Speaker 2: the way, every time I admit this to somebody, they say, same.
- 26:51Speaker 2: People are not walking around talking about this. I think
- 26:54Speaker 2: you should talk about it.
- 26:55Speaker 1: I think you're right.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Why are we finishing that many books?
- 26:57Speaker 1: Why are we like that?
- 26:58Speaker 2: I don't know, but I was happy that somebody admitted
- 27:00Speaker 2: to me that they're like that.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Well, Alex Earl admitted this, that she's like never read
- 27:04Speaker 3: a book. She's the last book. She was like Dr.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Seuss and everybody went.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Well, because why is it that we got to wear
- 27:09Speaker 2: this badge of honor that we finished it? I've read
- 27:12Speaker 2: a book, but I haven't finished all of them. Sometimes
- 27:16Speaker 2: I reread a book.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Oh, I have to always reread pages because I read
- 27:20Speaker 1: a whole page. I don't even know what I read.
- 27:22Speaker 2: By the way, I had the same problem. I'm like,
- 27:24Speaker 2: did I just read that page and not remember one thing?
- 27:26Speaker 1: I'm thinking about like, what am I going to have
- 27:27Speaker 1: for dinner?
- 27:28Speaker 3: You can't do that when you're doing my book.
- 27:31Speaker 2: What book are you doing?
- 27:32Speaker 3: I'm doing The Artist's Way. Remember, I told you guys
- 27:34Speaker 3: about this.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It's a 12-week book. Oh, yes, I remember.
- 27:35Speaker 2: It's a handbook.
- 27:36Speaker 3: It's a handbook workbook and I have to do morning pages.
- 27:39Speaker 3: I have to do morning pages, three pages every morning.
- 27:41Speaker 3: And then one of the assignments is a solo date
- 27:44Speaker 3: once a week.
- 27:44Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 27:45Speaker 3: What do you do for a solo date?
- 27:48Speaker 2: Well, I do all my life. I know.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I have a solo.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Date multiple times a week.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Okay, can you share some ideas with me, please?
- 27:55Speaker 1: You go to a coffee shop, have some coffee, sit down, enjoy,
- 27:58Speaker 1: just be within yourself. You can go have sushi by yourself.
- 28:01Speaker 1: You can go shopping by yourself.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Go to a movie.
- 28:04Speaker 3: So errands don't count. I can't do errands by myself.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Shopping is not an errand. Shopping is like cute browsing.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:13Speaker 2: This is not a challenge.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Yeah, this is not.
- 28:16Speaker 2: What?
- 28:16Speaker 3: You guys have just given me... Take me to dinner
- 28:18Speaker 3: and a movie. I need 10 more.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Food truck? Oh, yeah.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I am going to do Color Me Mine. I'm going
- 28:24Speaker 3: to go to a pottery class, but that's this week.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Color Me Mine is aggressive. That's going to be like
- 28:29Speaker 1: two hours minimum.
- 28:31Speaker 2: It has to be two hours.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Oh, it has to be two hours? You didn't tell
- 28:34Speaker 1: us that rule.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Why is this play and book so rigid?
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, why don't you go to a... You need a hobby.
- 28:39Speaker 2: You don't need a solo date.
- 28:41Speaker 3: This is my hobby. Yes, the hip hop class would
- 28:43Speaker 3: be excellent.
- 28:44Speaker 1: That's great.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Why don't you get on a plane and go somewhere?
- 28:47Speaker 3: For two hours?
- 28:49Speaker 1: Why don't you ride your bike for two hours?
- 28:51Speaker 2: There you go.
- 28:52Speaker 3: I don't have one.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You don't have a bike?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Well, you can borrow mine.
- 28:55Speaker 1: You can borrow mine too.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Go to Halloween Horror Nights and see that Michael B.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Jordan lookalike.
- 29:01Speaker 1: That would be cute. That's a cute solo date.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I know.
- 29:03Speaker 3: It's really hard though.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Like I need 12 of them. Why do they want
- 29:05Speaker 2: you to solo date? The whole point when you're solo
- 29:08Speaker 2: is to find a date. Why do they want you
- 29:10Speaker 2: to go by yourself?
- 29:10Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm supposed to have some like breakthrough,
- 29:13Speaker 3: creativity breakthrough throughout this whole process. So I'm assuming that.
- 29:16Speaker 2: What are you looking for? What are you searching for?
- 29:18Speaker 2: I feel like it's pulling you apart from your marriage.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I agree. It sounds like bad steps to me. Not
- 29:22Speaker 2: on the first year. No, no.
- 29:24Speaker 3: It's very good.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Very good.
- 29:25Speaker 2: You don't even know. You don't even sell it when
- 29:27Speaker 2: you say it.
- 29:28Speaker 1: The artist's way has.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Like changed people's lives in like the most amazing way.
- 29:32Speaker 3: It's like brought out this like totally different creative side
- 29:35Speaker 3: of them.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Get back to us on this. Yeah.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Come at me at December 14th when I'm done.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I'm off that day. Coming up next. On air with
- 29:47Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest. Say my name. Destiny's Child. It's LA's number
- 29:54Speaker 2: one hit music station. So Ruby has a question about
- 29:58Speaker 2: holding a spot for your friends in line or online.
- 30:01Speaker 2: When I find on the East Coast, people say online.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I was online for these tickets standing. That sounds like
- 30:08Speaker 2: they were on the internet. I know, but people say
- 30:10Speaker 2: in line for online, online for in line. I say
- 30:13Speaker 2: in line.
- 30:14Speaker 1: In line.
- 30:15Speaker 3: I've never heard online.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Do you barbecue or grill?
- 30:18Speaker 1: You can do both.
- 30:20Speaker 2: See, I grill while people barbecue.
- 30:24Speaker 1: No, some people have cookouts.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Oh, cookouts.
- 30:27Speaker 1: That's right. That's what you're thinking of.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Cookouts. I don't have cookouts.
- 30:30Speaker 1: No, we have barbecues on the West Coast.
- 30:32Speaker 2: That's what it is. Cookouts and barbecues. Ruby, what's the problem?
- 30:38Speaker 2: What's the issue? What's the issue? Who's asking you to
- 30:41Speaker 2: stand online for them?
- 30:43Speaker 1: I've actually heard cue. Have you guys heard that?
- 30:45Speaker 3: Like get in the queue, right?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Look at the queue. It's so long.
- 30:50Speaker 1: It's the British way.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Um, yeah, I was just, I was just curious, like
- 30:55Speaker 4: what the etiquette is when it comes to holding, you know,
- 30:57Speaker 4: holding space for your friends when you're in line. Um,
- 31:01Speaker 4: because I was actually at a bar and I was
- 31:04Speaker 4: just letting some of my girlfriends cut in front of me.
- 31:06Speaker 4: And then, Instantly got like a couple looks. But I'm like,
- 31:11Speaker 4: if it's at a bar, I feel like it's okay.
- 31:14Speaker 4: It's when you're at Disneyland or when you're at, when
- 31:16Speaker 4: like the stakes are higher that it kind of feels wrong.
- 31:19Speaker 4: And I wouldn't do that at Disneyland.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Like I wouldn't.
- 31:24Speaker 1: The bar's slowing down the line though. I can see
- 31:27Speaker 1: why you got the looks. Because now you just added
- 31:29Speaker 1: like five more drinks that someone behind you thought was
- 31:32Speaker 1: only going to be one drink.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Where are these people going?
- 31:35Speaker 1: To drink the drinks.
- 31:36Speaker 2: No, but why aren't they in line?
- 31:39Speaker 1: Oh, like restrooms.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Like you can go to the restroom or maybe you're
- 31:42Speaker 4: like this time we were holding a table down. So
- 31:45Speaker 4: it's like, you know, some of the friends.
- 31:47Speaker 3: At the table. I hate that.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Holding a table down?
- 31:50Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Why?
- 31:51Speaker 3: You're supposed to order and then you all find a table.
- 31:55Speaker 1: No.
- 31:55Speaker 2: That's. Yes.
- 31:56Speaker 3: If it's prime real estate, you get the table.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you kind of divide and conquer.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 3: No.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Half the group goes and finds a table and then
- 32:02Speaker 1: the other half just orders the drinks.
- 32:04Speaker 2: This happens to me with beach chairs.
- 32:06Speaker 1: What are you doing with the beach chairs?
- 32:07Speaker 2: I got to get up early sometimes to put a
- 32:08Speaker 2: book on the beach chair. Oh, yeah.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I am so big on that. I literally, we're at
- 32:12Speaker 1: a hotel.
- 32:13Speaker 2: But people get really upset about that. I don't care.
- 32:16Speaker 3: I move that book right on over.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I put flip flops, sarongs. I move into a chaise
- 32:21Speaker 2: lounge at.
- 32:22Speaker 1: 8 in the morning at the pool. And I don't
- 32:24Speaker 1: even go. I send Michael to go do it.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Why are you setting your alarm, babe? I got to
- 32:27Speaker 2: get down to the pool and save a beach chair.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Save the chairs.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I got to put a book. You got a book?
- 32:30Speaker 2: Maybe put a book down. Totally. It's so obvious when
- 32:33Speaker 2: a book is on a chair.
- 32:34Speaker 1: It's not a person.
- 32:34Speaker 2: It's a book. Uh-huh. I'm with Tanya on this. I'd
- 32:37Speaker 2: be annoyed, Ruby.
- 32:39Speaker 3: But you want to save a beach chair? Yeah, it's
- 32:41Speaker 3: the same. No, that's different. That's different.
- 32:44Speaker 1: That is like, everyone knows that's like an unwritten rule. No,
- 32:48Speaker 1: you go.
- 32:48Speaker 3: So you get your chair when you want to go
- 32:50Speaker 3: to the pool. You don't put it on at 8 a.m.
- 32:52Speaker 3: and then go to the pool at noon.
- 32:53Speaker 2: With respect, you get up before the sun rises and
- 32:56Speaker 2: get a beach chair.
- 32:57Speaker 1: The early bird catches the worm. No, it's the chair.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I boot your book and I lay on your chair.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Wow, that's so rude.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Wow, you've really become different with this handbook. Yeah. 10
- 33:07Speaker 2: books made her real rigid.
- 33:08Speaker 1: The workbook.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I know.
- 33:10Speaker 1: It's like vacation.
- 33:11Speaker 3: You're that.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Girl. It's 102.7. Kiss FM. All right, Sissany has a question.
- 33:18Speaker 2: When you go to, for example, our Jingle Ball, or
- 33:20Speaker 2: we're giving out these Miley tickets. I have more to
- 33:22Speaker 2: win in a second. Let's say you win these tickets
- 33:24Speaker 2: to go see Miley. Now, Sissany is a concert goer.
- 33:26Speaker 2: She goes to a lot of shows. Sure. It's part
- 33:27Speaker 2: of the gig.
- 33:29Speaker 1: It is part of the gig.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:31Speaker 2: But the question is, you know when you... You stand
- 33:34Speaker 2: or you stand up and you sit down and stand
- 33:35Speaker 2: up or you stand up the whole time?
- 33:36Speaker 3: Yep.
- 33:37Speaker 2: You can't sit down at a show once people around
- 33:42Speaker 2: you are standing.
- 33:43Speaker 1: That's the feeling. Well, one, you won't be able to
- 33:45Speaker 1: see anything, so you're forced to stand up. But if
- 33:47Speaker 1: everyone's seated around you, then you feel pressure if you
- 33:50Speaker 1: want to stand up and dance or enjoy the song
- 33:54Speaker 1: or two. So what do you do? So what do
- 33:56Speaker 1: you do? I usually feel the crowd out. I will...
- 33:59Speaker 1: It is... Rare that I'll be the only one up
- 34:03Speaker 1: on my feet and like grooving unless it's like one
- 34:08Speaker 1: of my favorite artists or something. Well, they're sitting down
- 34:14Speaker 1: behind me and I'm standing up, then they're going to
- 34:17Speaker 1: be forced to be stand up.
- 34:19Speaker 2: I was shocked.
- 34:19Speaker 1: So anyways, I bring this up because I was at
- 34:21Speaker 1: the world's collide tour, which is the descendants zombies. Camp
- 34:25Speaker 1: rock three is more like younger family kids at this concert.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And everybody was sitting down and watching it like a
- 34:33Speaker 1: show that you would watch it like Disneyland or something.
- 34:36Speaker 1: It wasn't like concert vibes, but then you go to
- 34:38Speaker 1: like czar Larson and everybody is on their feet the
- 34:41Speaker 1: entire time.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Well, that's, I mean, I don't think I would feel
- 34:46Speaker 2: guilty sitting down at czar Larson.
- 34:48Speaker 1: But would you feel guilty if you want to stand
- 34:50Speaker 1: up and be the only one? Like when I went
- 34:52Speaker 1: and saw No Doubt at Sphere, I was in a
- 34:55Speaker 1: section where nobody was standing and I wanted to stand
- 34:57Speaker 1: the entire time. I felt pressure to stand. And so
- 35:00Speaker 1: I finally did towards the end.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I don't think you can worry about that because it
- 35:04Speaker 2: shows your enthusiasm for the artist or the actor, whatever
- 35:06Speaker 2: you're seeing. And people need to look around you. Plus
- 35:08Speaker 2: you're 5'2.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Who's not gonna be able to see five foot i
- 35:13Speaker 3: did this um for taylor swift's eras tour documentary that
- 35:18Speaker 3: was out in theaters my whole theater.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Up in the theater yeah everybody's sitting.
- 35:21Speaker 3: Down stand up no they were all sitting down and
- 35:24Speaker 3: i was like this is a concert movie get.
- 35:26Speaker 2: A movie may be different yeah.
- 35:28Speaker 1: That is different no i feel like if the whole
- 35:31Speaker 1: theater was up then great but if you were in
- 35:33Speaker 1: a sitting theater i.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Was up up up I often get people taller than
- 35:38Speaker 2: me in front of me standing and I have to
- 35:39Speaker 2: do a lean or ask to swap seats with somebody
- 35:42Speaker 2: that's next to me to see past them. I just
- 35:45Speaker 2: think if you're into it, forget about what everybody else
- 35:48Speaker 2: is thinking and go with what you're feeling. That's what
- 35:50Speaker 2: you need to do. You paid for the ticket. You're
- 35:53Speaker 2: at the show. Enjoy it how you want to enjoy it.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Forget about everybody else.
- 35:57Speaker 1: What if they're telling you to sit down?
- 35:58Speaker 2: Well, they're not having a good time.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Buy them a beer.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Buy them a beer?
- 36:05Speaker 3: No.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Did somebody tell you to sit down?
- 36:08Speaker 1: In past concerts, yeah, for sure. People were like, sit down.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Was it the keyboard elf? I mean, who can't see
- 36:14Speaker 2: over you? It's like, what elf was behind you? Coming
- 36:18Speaker 2: up next. Going to wrap it up for us this
- 36:20Speaker 2: morning on KISS FM. Sisney takes it for another hour. Tomorrow,
- 36:24Speaker 2: it's Ryan's Roses. If you missed anything on the show today,
- 36:27Speaker 2: it's up midday on our podcast on iHeartRadio on air
- 36:31Speaker 2: with Ryan Seacrest there. And tonight, oh, Mark, what's tonight
- 36:35Speaker 2: on Real Fortune? Your Baywatch audition?
