Transcript
- 0:02SPEAKER_04: Hello everyone.
- 0:04SPEAKER_04: Welcome back to another episode of Crusholds.
- 0:07SPEAKER_04: This is a podcast where we turn pain into power and trauma into triumph and a place where we can become a better version of ourselves.
- 0:15SPEAKER_04: This is also a place where we like to crush the enemy by exposing lies.
- 0:20SPEAKER_04: And how do we do that?
- 0:21SPEAKER_04: We do that by sharing the truth and the word of Jesus Christ.
- 0:24SPEAKER_04: And today I have an amazing, amazing guest here today that I cannot wait and have been so excited to bring her on and let you all get a chance to get to know her.
- 0:34SPEAKER_04: Her name is Bethany Bacon, and she is an acquaintance of mine from the KBA Academy.
- 0:39SPEAKER_04: That's where we met.
- 0:41SPEAKER_04: And she has an amazing website, and she is an author and um just has an amazing testimony for you all to listen to today.
- 0:52SPEAKER_04: And um, she's written three books, and she's working on a fourth book.
- 0:56SPEAKER_04: And Bethany, I just want to welcome you to Crushing Strongholds today.
- 1:00SPEAKER_04: Thank you for joining us.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Thank you for having me.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to be here.
- 1:06SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 1:08SPEAKER_04: So can you um just tell our listeners a little bit about your your website and and kind of what you do?
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Um my my website is based on my birth experience.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I was born at 24 and a half weeks in November 1983 on a ventilator for eight weeks after that.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: So that's the reason for the voice quality.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Um and so the Lord has provided me now with the means to just help people understand that they do have value, um, despite what negativity they have or they are experiencing, and to also come alongside and to answer the question, why does life hurt so much?
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Especially when we consider the reality that God created the universe, God creates every person, and so why is there so much negativity and pain and all that?
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: And um so my website is tailored to helping people understand the truth, um not just from a one-sided perspective, but understanding the reality of why we have negativity, and so um it's it's my God-given mission.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: It truly is, and I I'm excited to you know partner with God in what he's called me to do.
- 3:32SPEAKER_04: That's awesome.
- 3:33SPEAKER_04: Now I know on your on your website that if you sign up for your email, you actually give out a free gift.
- 3:38SPEAKER_04: Can you tell us what that gift is?
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: That gift is called you matter from feeling lost to being free.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: And that gift goes through, I believe, seven um attributes of who God says each one of us are.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: And I believe it's critical, especially nowadays, to understand, okay, who does God say that each one of us are?
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: Or do we tend to give in to the enemy?
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: And so that gift, and I also go through um some of the first emails a person receives from me is going through that gift, so on a maybe a deeper level than what um the gift actually is, and um I have Bible verses in there that back up each one of the seven attributes, characteristics, however you want to call it.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: So it's I believe it is very powerful for people to understand.
- 5:34SPEAKER_04: Well, I think that's amazing that you you offer that up.
- 5:37SPEAKER_04: You also offer up another gift for um if you subscribe um to your email.
- 5:45SPEAKER_04: Don't you offer like um a glimpse into my faith journey?
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:53SPEAKER_04: So and that's a signed book.
- 5:56SPEAKER_04: It's autographed.
- 5:59SPEAKER_04: That's awesome.
- 6:00SPEAKER_04: Um, and then you have um Beyond the Mirror, right?
- 6:04SPEAKER_04: Yes, and then um From Darkness to Light.
- 6:07SPEAKER_04: Yes, right now isn't is darkness to light um just uh in addition to my faith journey?
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: Um yes.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Okay, I was just curious.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: It is, it's just a um maybe a more in-depth um look at you know how how people can go from darkness to light.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: And um just a reinforcement, I believe, to um what I have.
- 6:53SPEAKER_04: So that's that's that's amazing.
- 6:56SPEAKER_04: I'm I'm I'm excited for you because I haven't even gotten one book published yet.
- 7:00SPEAKER_04: So I'm gonna be picking your brain after this is over, but you also have some some study, um, some learning um um offerings in your um webpage.
- 7:13SPEAKER_04: And I actually purchased the one that says I am not ashamed.
- 7:17SPEAKER_04: It's the Romans 1 through 16.
- 7:19SPEAKER_04: And I will have to say, I want our listeners to hear that um I can't believe you're only charging three dollars for this because it is so in-depth, and it's like 30 36 or 39 pages long, and it is so packed full of scripture.
- 7:36SPEAKER_04: I loved it.
- 7:38SPEAKER_04: I loved it.
- 7:38SPEAKER_04: It's gonna take me probably, I thought it was just gonna be just like a a quick um just like a quick sheet, but it wasn't.
- 7:46SPEAKER_04: It was a really good lesson, and I can't wait to get through it.
- 7:48SPEAKER_04: And I just wanted to tell that, tell our listeners that so when they go on your webpage and they see what you're offering, you're gonna get a lot.
- 7:54SPEAKER_04: You're not just gonna get a tiny little bit.
- 7:56SPEAKER_04: Um, you get the whole buffet, is what I want to say when it comes to your website because it is so packed full of such amazing stuff.
- 8:05SPEAKER_04: Now, do you want to um go into more detail and and share with um our listeners more about your story?
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: So um my sorry for the hesitation.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Um my parents were married in nineteen seventy-one and they went through seven times of finding out that they were parents and then just to find out weeks later that each one of those had been escaped.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: And then in nineteen eighty-three, they found out that my mom was pregnant with me and her due date was at the end of February nineteen eighty-four.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Uh, her doctor told her that if she was able to carry to full term that I would be nine pounds and yet God in his wisdom chose for my birthday to be November second, nineteen eighty-three one pound eleven ounces, dropping down to one pound six ounces.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: I had um I was first shunted at Set Sweet's gold in December nineteen eighty-three because of hydrocephalus.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: That's a um condition where there is excess CSF cerebral spinal fluid that collects in the ventles, and normally um the body is able to absorb CSF naturally, but in people with hydrocephalus that's not able to be done.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: And so brain surgery is the only management option for that.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: Um, either a shunt or a ETV, which is uh they're able to drill a hole in one of the ventricles to help drain the fluid that way.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: But in my situation, my ventricles are too thin to have that done, and so currently I have two shunts, one on either side of my head.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: Um I've had 18 shunt-related surgeries since June 2016.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Um, I went for 25 plus years without needing um any hydrocephalus type care.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: And so I come June 2016, I really didn't know what to expect.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: But then um things started happening, and I went through um two short infections one in December twenty sixteen into January twenty seventeen, and then one in June twenty seventeen.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: And so it's been quite the journey um these last nine years or so really that have just um a physical toll on me that um I'm recognizing that I don't have the strength that I used to, and yet God has been there giving me that strength, and um I had my most recent shunk surgery in August August 29th, 2025.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm still adjusting to that valve.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: Um and I I still don't understand how everything is meant to work with idoscephalus and shunts and that because I even though I went for 25 years without issue, I I still feel like so new to it that um now I'm finally understanding um some of my own symptoms to be looking out for.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: And so it's but like I say, God has been there, and Satan, you know, as we talk about Christian strongholds, there have been times when Satan's attacks have been pretty powerful, and I'm learning to discern between his attacks and how to conquer them before they would become anything more than just an attack.
- 16:16SPEAKER_04: So before they be actually become a stronghold in your life.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 16:21SPEAKER_04: That's amazing.
- 16:22SPEAKER_04: Um, so when you um had your first shunt put in, you were six weeks old, and then twenty five years later is when you started developing um some concerns with it.
- 16:33SPEAKER_04: Um I'm a little bit familiar with shunts.
- 16:35SPEAKER_04: My sister was an epileptic, and um we didn't know that they were supposed to replace those shunt the shunt in her brain every 10 years, and we didn't know that.
- 16:45SPEAKER_04: She didn't know that either.
- 16:47SPEAKER_04: Um they finally did replace it, but she was having really bad um seizures and stuff like that.
- 16:52SPEAKER_04: I don't know if what kind of effects you had.
- 16:55SPEAKER_04: Um, but she was, you know, having she was she had grandma seizures.
- 16:59SPEAKER_04: She had them really bad.
- 17:00SPEAKER_04: So I could kind of relate, um, not personally, but just from an outside um perspective as to how horrible that was for her to go through all of those you know symptoms until they finally figured out the problem.
- 17:13SPEAKER_04: And they went in and replaced it.
- 17:14SPEAKER_04: And they realized it had never been replaced in her entire life.
- 17:17SPEAKER_04: It had not been replaced.
- 17:19SPEAKER_04: And it should have been replaced like every ten years.
- 17:22SPEAKER_04: So I'm wondering if if like with your situation, if if if if that was the case, maybe they should have, you know, said, Hey, you gotta come in and get this replaced so often so that it stays working properly.
- 17:32SPEAKER_04: So you don't have all of the side effects that go with it, you know?
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:36SPEAKER_04: But yeah, that seems like that can be a lot.
- 17:40SPEAKER_04: Um and so when did you realize that um God was gonna put you on this journey to to write a book and start helping other people that struggle with similar um similar situations?
- 17:56SPEAKER_04: Because yours is like um, I mean, for some people that it would be devastating.
- 18:01SPEAKER_04: They wouldn't be able to handle it.
- 18:02SPEAKER_04: Um because some people are very healthy, they don't have any medical issues or anything like that.
- 18:06SPEAKER_04: They they wouldn't know how to cope at all um with the struggles with it.
- 18:10SPEAKER_04: Um like you mentioned in the beginning, like, you know, even like your voice, the way you talk it a certain way, um does that affect did that have an effect on you?
- 18:21SPEAKER_04: Does it still have an effect on you?
- 18:23SPEAKER_04: And how did God get you through that effect?
- 18:24SPEAKER_04: Because there's a lot of people out there that struggle.
- 18:27SPEAKER_04: Um for myself, I don't have like a physical disability, but people tell me I talk too fast all the time.
- 18:34SPEAKER_04: And I don't because I I'm a little hyperactive, you know, I'm like a little ADHD, and I don't realize it until somebody points it out and says, Hey, you're talking a little too fast for me.
- 18:44SPEAKER_04: And um, so I just wonder if um for someone like yourself, um, how do you conquer that?
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: Great question.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: Thank you for that.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: Um it I share an experience in my faith journey that back in 2006 I was working a retail job in the woman's department um at a store, and you know, typically there's supposed to be other workers in each department, but on this particular day, I was the only one in the women's department, and um a call came in.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Oh man.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: Um and I for obvious reasons I think I don't like talking on the phone.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: I just uh but um not to delay the customer, I answered the phone, I introduced myself as clearly as I could, even saying that I was a woman, and but the lady on the other hand, she wasn't having any of it.
- 20:44SPEAKER_04: Oh no, and she oh um didn't sound sound like a very nice person.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: She she asked an obvious question, a question that logically anybody would ask.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: So why do they have a man working in the woman's department?
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: And guess that that is an obvious question, but I I then proceeded to do my best to explain my voice quality situation, but she she still wasn't having any of it.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: And so we hung up and then she proceeded to call the store manager about it, and so it That experience I mistakenly took that as what should be my end on ever speaking, you know, on over the internet or in situations where people didn't couldn't see me.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: And so for the next nineteen years since June sorry until June twenty twenty five, I had this great fear of putting myself out there and speaking because I thought, okay.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: With the way our culture is people are gonna assume incorrectly, and I don't want to take that risk.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: But through God's leading prompting, I've regained the confidence to say, okay, I I refuse to let my voice quality stop me because it's something I cannot change.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: It's something that I believe God wants to use to get his message through me out to the masses.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: And so um that I praise the Lord that I'm free from feeling ashamed, I'm free from feeling embarrassed, and I honestly feel so empowered to say, okay, Satan, you wanted to use this to stop me completely, but I'm once and for all rejecting that and God thank you every day for using me as you see fit.
- 25:19SPEAKER_04: That's really awesome.
- 25:20SPEAKER_04: Thank you for sharing that.
- 25:21SPEAKER_04: I'm sure that has to be um kind of difficult to kind of put that perspective out there for people.
- 25:26SPEAKER_04: So did was did you start this journey before or after KBA?
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: I started it after.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: Um I well I did I did start it before.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: I started it in officially in June 2024.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: I um joined KBA in September of 2024.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: And so um and since then it's amazing what God has just laid on my heart.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: And um, you know, it I've always had a passion for sharing what God is doing in my life through my life, but since June 2024, it's been just incredible for me to see how God has given me things that it's obviously I don't hear an audible voice, but I have been obedient to the Holy Spirit and um just I feel the Lord saying to me, okay, there are things that some of my children are not understanding, and it it's costing not only them, but their children and others around them, and it needs to get out.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: And I just feel, as you can probably sense, I I feel so empowered and strengthened and you know wanting to get God's message out there and in a way that doesn't cause confusion because God is not the author of confusion.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: And and so it's just like okay, God, I'm ready.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: Let's do this.
- 28:18SPEAKER_04: You know what, God, I I love when they when it talks about God calls people that may not be equipped, but he calls the ones that are willing.
- 28:27SPEAKER_04: And then he equips, then he equips the ones that are willing.
- 28:30SPEAKER_04: And I love that because we I think we all feel like we're gonna fall short of being equipped with being able to to even accomplish what God wants us to accomplish.
- 28:41SPEAKER_04: But if He if we have a heart of willingness, He's gonna give us all of the equipment, the tools that we need.
- 28:48SPEAKER_04: And like like your website, it's amazing.
- 28:50SPEAKER_04: And you can just you can just when you first open it and everything, um, it just pours out Jesus, is what it does.
- 28:58SPEAKER_04: It's very inspirational, um, it's enlightening, it's encouraging, um, and and it is powerful.
- 29:05SPEAKER_04: And um God has given you an amazing ability to um write.
- 29:12SPEAKER_04: Your writing skills are amazing.
- 29:14SPEAKER_04: I mean, even when I follow you on Facebook, your posts are just they just blow me away because they're so good.
- 29:20SPEAKER_04: Um and so I think that God has given you a gift, and it may not be like you may not be able to vocalize it a hundred percent, but you know how to you do know how to put your words into place.
- 29:32SPEAKER_04: And I think that's really that's that's a huge gift because not everybody has that ability.
- 29:36SPEAKER_04: I mean, I trip on my tongue all the time, so so I think it's it's it's great.
- 29:41SPEAKER_04: And I actually admire you for that because um that used to be um a fear that I had in my life was to be able to stand up and um um and tell KBA um have that boldness, you know, God was kind of nudge me and nudge me and nudge me, and then KBA popped up and I thought, well, I'm gonna try this, but I don't know, you know.
- 30:00SPEAKER_04: And um now look at me, I'm doing a podcast, and I never thought I would do one.
- 30:04SPEAKER_04: My daughter was like, You're never gonna do that.
- 30:07SPEAKER_04: And now I have three podcasts.
- 30:09SPEAKER_04: So it's like, oh my goodness, you know, and it's exciting.
- 30:12SPEAKER_04: And and it it was scary.
- 30:14SPEAKER_04: I was I was kind of scared at first because I I worried more about what people would say and not about what God told me to do.
- 30:22SPEAKER_04: And God's really, that's gonna be one of my episodes, I think, because um I know that God's really laid that on me really thick lately, that it's not it doesn't matter what men say, it matters what God says.
- 30:34SPEAKER_04: And that's what you're doing.
- 30:35SPEAKER_04: You're you're adhering to that.
- 30:37SPEAKER_04: And and being and listening to God's voice and recognizing that um like we talked about before, with you recognizing the enemy and how the enemy is trying to come at you, um, there's so much power in that.
- 30:52SPEAKER_04: And some people, well, a lot of people I think need to hear that.
- 30:56SPEAKER_04: They need it and they need to be told.
- 30:59SPEAKER_04: And um time like the present because time is running very, very thin, I think.
- 31:05SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 31:05SPEAKER_04: And I think we should be doing more.
- 31:07SPEAKER_04: And I know God's really laid on my heart as excuse me, as a Christian, or a disciple, I should say.
- 31:13SPEAKER_04: I don't even really like to call myself a Christian much anymore.
- 31:17SPEAKER_04: Um, I'd rather be a disciple of Jesus Christ, you know, than a Christian, because a Christian, you know, nowadays um the representation of Christianity is very, very um miskewed and it's watered down and it's very swampy.
- 31:32SPEAKER_04: So I feel like I would rather tell people I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ instead of a Christian, because you know, people are gonna go, oh, you're a Christian, you know.
- 31:41SPEAKER_04: And I was like, actually I'm not.
- 31:43SPEAKER_04: I'm more than that, because God has called me.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 31:46SPEAKER_04: And I know that God has called you because your your verbiage and your writing, and um, I mean, as much scripture as you poured out into Romans um 16 through 20, 26, I believe it is, um, it was a lot, and it was so good.
- 32:02SPEAKER_04: And it was in depth.
- 32:04SPEAKER_04: Um, and even like, you know, even the information that you put with it was really good how you were able to just even connect the scriptures together to go along to bring that scripture scripture to life, you know.
- 32:16SPEAKER_04: And we know that God's word is alive and active.
- 32:19SPEAKER_03: We know that.
- 32:20SPEAKER_04: Um, a lot of people go, that doesn't make sense, but uh I know it's uh it's alive, you know.
- 32:26SPEAKER_04: Um the prophecies prove it, but they've proven that every single day.
- 32:31SPEAKER_04: A prophecy gets filled, and and people are like, How did that happen?
- 32:34SPEAKER_04: Well, it it's alive, it's already been spoken.
- 32:36SPEAKER_04: God has already spoken, you know, He already created us, He knows, He knows us from the beginning to the end already.
- 32:43SPEAKER_04: He knows what's gonna happen.
- 32:45SPEAKER_04: Um now, whether we live it out or not, you know, that's something we get to work, we get to work out with, you know.
- 32:52SPEAKER_04: Um, and I'm thankful that you are um building up the kingdom, you know.
- 32:57SPEAKER_04: I feel like that's what you're doing.
- 32:58SPEAKER_04: So tell us about the this next book that you're you're working on.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: Um I'm working on a book, um, and I believe the title will be something to the effect of freedom from Satan's subtlety.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: And I'm in the process of going through the entire Bible and highlighting the passages that either talk about Satan's subtlety or even um how God worked through situations and it um right now currently as of today, I'm up to um Second Samuel, and so talking about um Saul and his various issues there, and um so it this book is a something the Holy Spirit laid on my heart when during various um circumstances in my personal life in the lives of my friends.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: Um it seems like there's so much giving in to see that people aren't recognized, and it it's scary, I believe, to really understand.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: Okay, you take um James 4-7, submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: Well, how many how much do we get that reversed?
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: How much do we actually submit to Satan where we we may not either recognize it that we're doing it, or we just willfully do it because we think it's easier or whatever, and yet it's really honestly, like I say, scary to even consider that how many victories it seems like Satan is getting just because people aren't choosing to resist Satan.
- 36:46SPEAKER_04: I actually can give you a little bit of insight on that because um in the Bible it says that God has given the enemy um basically a ruling over the earth.
- 36:57SPEAKER_04: So, like he's the God of the earth, you know, God is the God of all.
- 37:02SPEAKER_04: So when we think about Satan, um, I feel like Satan sprinkles confetti of sin all over the world.
- 37:09SPEAKER_04: Like he's just out there sprinkling it up, you know, like um he and he wants to glamorize it, he wants to beautify it, he wants to magnify it, um, he he makes it so glorified that the world is so lost in it that they think it's what should be acceptable, but what isn't acceptable.
- 37:29SPEAKER_04: Because when it clearly says in the Bible we are not to conform to the world, that's why, because Satan has a grip on the world.
- 37:36SPEAKER_04: And if we allow the enemy, if we partake in the world, we don't realize that that is siding with the enemy.
- 37:44SPEAKER_04: We are just sitting down at the table of the enemy when we side with the world.
- 37:49SPEAKER_04: And God had showed me this when um um I was watching um oh gosh, I'm trying to think of her name.
- 37:57SPEAKER_04: Cameron, um, oh, what's his name?
- 38:00SPEAKER_04: I can't think of his name.
- 38:02SPEAKER_04: Anyway, his sister, Candace, she played on uh uh Full House.
- 38:06SPEAKER_04: Do you know who that is?
- 38:07SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I can't think of her last name for some reason.
- 38:09SPEAKER_04: It's escaping me.
- 38:11SPEAKER_04: Um she's a Christian, so is Cameron, her brother.
- 38:13SPEAKER_04: I follow both of them.
- 38:15SPEAKER_04: And she was talking about she doesn't she doesn't watch horror movies anymore.
- 38:18SPEAKER_04: She got convicted of that, and now she tells people why.
- 38:21SPEAKER_04: We should not be we should not be watching any of that stuff.
- 38:25SPEAKER_04: Um even with um children's shows, there's certain shows that kids should not be watching.
- 38:30SPEAKER_04: And parents are just oblivious.
- 38:32SPEAKER_04: They're like, oh, it's not harmful, it's just a show, it's just an imagination, it's just made up, it's just it's fi, you know, it's fictitious, it's not even real.
- 38:40SPEAKER_04: But they do not know how much the devil is a part of that, you know, and it's literally corrupting their little minds right from the gate, you know?
- 38:49SPEAKER_04: And um, so we're giving the enemy the key to have that corruption involved in their lives.
- 38:55SPEAKER_04: And um, I loved that she came out and said, I'm not gonna watch scary movies anymore, and I don't really care what you think about it.
- 39:02SPEAKER_04: And um, I'm you know, I'm not a big person to debate on stuff, but I like it when I have a conviction of my own and somebody else is convicted as well, and then I'm like, oh, okay, it's not just me, you know, because when I tell people like I told my daughter, I used to love scary movies, you know.
- 39:18SPEAKER_04: And I just told her, I said, um, a couple of times one would come on and they'd be like, Oh, can we watch it again?
- 39:23SPEAKER_04: And I said, you know what?
- 39:25SPEAKER_04: We're not watching that ever again because I'm convicted we should have never watched it to begin with.
- 39:29SPEAKER_04: And um even watching just um, you know, the clip of it, the trailer, it it it I turn it off.
- 39:36SPEAKER_04: I don't even watch a trailer.
- 39:38SPEAKER_04: And she's like, Wow, isn't that a bit much?
- 39:40SPEAKER_04: You used to love scary movies, and I did, but God convicted me, you know.
- 39:44SPEAKER_04: And we need to pray that God will convict the hearts of the people that are lost in the world, because the enemy already knows that once he's got them in their trap, in that trap, that um it's it takes a lot to get out of that.
- 39:58SPEAKER_04: I watched horror movies for years, and just that one conviction um has really freed me from a lot of demonic oppression because there's so much demonic oppression in scary movies.
- 40:10SPEAKER_04: A lot.
- 40:12SPEAKER_04: And um, so that's just one example.
- 40:14SPEAKER_04: There's millions of examples.
- 40:15SPEAKER_04: So I I totally agree with what you're saying that it is scary, that we don't even recognize it.
- 40:20SPEAKER_04: We don't realize it even as a Christian watching a scary movie.
- 40:24SPEAKER_04: I didn't think anything of it until God convicted me and said, you know, you probably shouldn't really be watching this.
- 40:30SPEAKER_04: This is kind of a bad movie.
- 40:31SPEAKER_04: This is really not a good movie.
- 40:32SPEAKER_04: And you're watching it with your kid.
- 40:34SPEAKER_04: So not only are you getting corrupted, but you are corrupting your child.
- 40:38SPEAKER_04: And, you know, my child beat a teenager, thought I was kind of whacked out, you know.
- 40:42SPEAKER_04: And she's just like, oh, really?
- 40:43SPEAKER_04: You know, and I'm like, Well, I'm sorry.
- 40:44SPEAKER_04: Uh if I'm convicted, then then then I want you to learn how to be convicted for it too.
- 40:49SPEAKER_04: You know, you may not like it, but I'm gonna um tell you that it's not a good idea.
- 40:54SPEAKER_04: So I I think that's gonna be a great book, you know.
- 40:58SPEAKER_04: And I think deliverance is huge.
- 41:00SPEAKER_04: I don't think we have enough deliverance in the world.
- 41:03SPEAKER_04: No, no, I think we need more of it.
- 41:06SPEAKER_04: Um God's gonna deliver us in the end.
- 41:09SPEAKER_04: We we are gonna get delivered.
- 41:11SPEAKER_04: And it's not gonna be it's not gonna be um rainbows and butterflies.
- 41:15SPEAKER_04: Right, you know, unfortunately.
- 41:17SPEAKER_04: So I think that um, you know, if people can learn about the enemy now and get delivered now, they're gonna they're gonna have they're gonna be able to walk in a little bit of freedom before that happens.
- 41:26SPEAKER_04: Yes, yes, and that's what we want to help them to get through so they actually um they can go to heaven.
- 41:32SPEAKER_04: You know, we want we don't want to see no one go to hell.
- 41:36SPEAKER_04: So I love what you're doing.
- 41:38SPEAKER_04: I think what you're doing is amazing.
- 41:40SPEAKER_04: Um with everything personally that you're going through.
- 41:44SPEAKER_04: Um, I don't know, honestly, if I could say if if I had the struggles that you have, if I could actually keep doing what you're doing.
- 41:50SPEAKER_04: I mean, I I you know, sometimes we get stuck in our woe is me moments.
- 41:54SPEAKER_04: And um, you know, I have my own health issues, but not like what you know you've endured.
- 42:00SPEAKER_04: But I think that um life circumstances um can stop us sometimes, but God is God, God is gonna pull us through it, you know, and he does.
- 42:10SPEAKER_04: And he uses that, you know.
- 42:12SPEAKER_04: That's why I love your testimony.
- 42:14SPEAKER_04: I think it's amazing.
- 42:16SPEAKER_04: So if you were to um, if if if one of our listeners were to ask you today um this question, how um or what advice would you give to our listeners um if they feel completely stuck, like just completely stuck, and that no matter what they're going through, just seems to be too hard.
- 42:38SPEAKER_04: What would you tell them in being able to just to just to get over that threshold?
- 42:43SPEAKER_04: What advice would you want to give to them?
- 42:46SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's a great question.
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: Um the first thing I would say is don't give up.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: Whatever you do, do not give up.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: Because the moment you give up, I believe, is the moment that Satan sees that and says, huh, well, I guess they're mine now.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: And that yes, God is able to deliver from that, but I think it's more important that we recognize that we don't have to give in to submit to any of Satan's attacks.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: And so if you're stuck today, if you're wondering, well, how in the world.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Do I move forward?
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: First thing, don't give up.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Second thing, take time to recognize the choices that you make.
- 44:20SPEAKER_01: Because I one area God has really, you know, hit me hard in helping people understand that under normal circumstances we do have the power to choose how we spend our free time, our leisure time, our you know, but are we choosing to spend that time worthwhile?
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: Or are we choosing to allow various time fillers, I like to call it, to distract us from what we really need to be focusing on.
- 45:25SPEAKER_01: And so to tie that in to a person feeling stuck take time to really analyze the choices you have and don't be don't be so hasty in because I do believe that Satan wants us to make hasty decisions.
- 46:04SPEAKER_01: He wants us to not take time to analyze or to really think about um what we should be doing and versus what we are doing.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: Um and once once there's that understanding about our choices and we're able to, you know, get into a routine of taking time, then I believe you will start to experience, okay.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: I did feel stuck.
- 47:00SPEAKER_01: I did feel lost in darkness, whatever.
- 47:07SPEAKER_01: But now as I'm focusing more on my choices, and as I'm choosing perhaps better, then you will see a momentum, I believe, um in having freedom.
- 47:36SPEAKER_01: Um I know people they talk about freedom so much, but the reason I don't think people experience it is because they either think they don't have time or they think that what they're choosing to do will eventually get to a point where they'll be magically unstuck and but to me that's just Satan's way of saying, Oh I I got them now.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: I got them in this cycle where you know they're they're choosing not to choose what is beneficial, and so that's a kind of a long answer for a simple question.
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: But I think it's it's good to just step back, take time, consider choices.
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: And are the choices you're making are they keeping you stuck?
- 49:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's really good.
- 49:19SPEAKER_04: That's a good answer, actually.
- 49:21SPEAKER_04: I think that a lot of times when we are stuck, um we get comfortable there.
- 49:27SPEAKER_04: We make ourselves right at home in in our situations, you know.
- 49:31SPEAKER_04: And um a friend of mine years ago told me, um, because I always pile my plate too full.
- 49:38SPEAKER_04: And she used to say, she calls me Mickey Mickey.
- 49:40SPEAKER_04: She's Mickey Mickey, you just have too much on your plate, you know, too much.
- 49:44SPEAKER_04: And and I would and I I used to think, well, let me, I would sit back and self-evaluate and think, what's the most important priority on that plate that I need to be taken care of?
- 49:54SPEAKER_04: And a friend of mine just last week, we were talking about um Christ should be the center of our priority, should be the top of our priority list, not somewhere in the middle, not on the bottom, not on the floor, you know, you know, not next week, not Sunday at church.
- 50:10SPEAKER_04: It should be our top priority in everything that we do.
- 50:12SPEAKER_04: And I know every time I put Jesus first, my plate isn't as full every time.
- 50:18SPEAKER_04: Because you know why?
- 50:20SPEAKER_04: He helps me to balance out what is the most important things and what can be what can be put on the back burner for later.
- 50:26SPEAKER_04: That it's not urgent.
- 50:28SPEAKER_04: Nothing we always think everything right now is urgent, it has to be done now.
- 50:33SPEAKER_04: You know, we want answers right now.
- 50:35SPEAKER_04: You know, if we go to the internet and we don't get the answer right now, you know, we're in a tiff, you know.
- 50:40SPEAKER_04: It's like I need it now.
- 50:42SPEAKER_04: Um, because we live in such a fast-paced world that we don't stop and pay attention.
- 50:47SPEAKER_04: We do not pay attention to the little things that we're missing.
- 50:50SPEAKER_04: And um, you know, that's why I think like the word of God, the way you share it, the way you break it down, helps people to understand it to where um they can actually apply it.
- 51:02SPEAKER_04: We we read it to read it, but we don't read it to apply it sometimes.
- 51:07SPEAKER_04: So listening.
- 51:08SPEAKER_04: We we we listen, like I tell my daughter this because she has selective hearing, she's 16, so it applies.
- 51:14SPEAKER_04: But I tell her, you know, we have we have a choice in our hearing.
- 51:18SPEAKER_04: We we hear to listen, or we hear to respond.
- 51:23SPEAKER_04: Which one are you doing?
- 51:24SPEAKER_04: Are you listening?
- 51:25SPEAKER_04: Are you just eagerly waiting to respond?
- 51:28SPEAKER_04: You know, and and there's times that even as adults, we do that where someone's talking to us.
- 51:32SPEAKER_04: The only thing we're waiting on is our response to give it, but we're not entirely listening to what the person is actually saying.
- 51:39SPEAKER_04: Sometimes we respond incorrectly because we don't even pay attention to what they're saying.
- 51:43SPEAKER_04: It's kind of foolish.
- 51:45SPEAKER_04: So God's really taught me lately, you know, um, when you sit at the feet of Jesus like Mary did, and he told Martha, Jesus told Martha, this is where Mary is, and this is where Mary should be.
- 51:57SPEAKER_04: And Mary was listening to what Jesus was telling her, even though Martha wasn't happy about it, you know.
- 52:04SPEAKER_04: Martha was not happy.
- 52:05SPEAKER_04: And there's times in my life where I've been a Martha, and there's times in my life I've been a Mary.
- 52:10SPEAKER_04: And I found that I have more peace when I'm I'm sitting at Jesus' feet, you know.
- 52:15SPEAKER_04: And I don't I don't embark on everything that I can't get accomplished in a day.
- 52:20SPEAKER_04: But I know as far as crushing strongholds goes, um, you and I both are are life coaches.
- 52:25SPEAKER_04: We like to help people.
- 52:27SPEAKER_04: And so what kind of coach um coaching do you offer with your program?
- 52:32SPEAKER_04: Because I've seen it on your website, and I just wanted you to touch base with that real quick so that we can get that information out there.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 52:39SPEAKER_01: So my current coaching program, it it's a 12-week program, and week one starts out with the foundation.
- 52:54SPEAKER_01: I think so many people are missing, and that is that we do have an enemy.
- 53:05SPEAKER_01: And it I don't know if it's just I don't hear much said about um that, or if there's a lack of preaching and teaching about that reality.
- 53:27SPEAKER_04: Right on the head of that.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: We and I so week one does start off by identifying that, and so that people understand that.
- 53:43SPEAKER_01: Okay, God is not the author of confusion, God did not create evil, God did not create anything that Satan stands for.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: Yes, God did create Lucifer as one of his angels, but even that when you understand that Lucifer chose to do whatever he did to be banished and his those five statements of his are evidence of why he became Satan, and so week one goes through that foundation, and then the other eleven weeks I go through one of God's attributes a week, recognizing that there are more than eleven, but um there are eleven that I believe are foundational.
- 55:19SPEAKER_01: Um and so we go through those and just helping people understand that you know what is the truth, what what yeah, what is the truth and how can I live in freedom?
- 55:48SPEAKER_01: You know, I everybody goes through Satan's attacks every single day.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: There's no escaping his attacks, but there is freedom.
- 56:05SPEAKER_01: No one has to be bound by Satan, and we you know we see that all over, evidenced in people's actions, whether they're bound by Satan or not.
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: And yet remembering that it's not Satan who does it, it's a person's individual choice, I believe.
- 56:37SPEAKER_01: We saw from our our free will, yes, that causes that, and so by the end of twelve weeks, people should be able to recognize a difference in um you know how they respond to things and um you know, even though it's not a visible tangible, you know, after twelve weeks you'll be able to have more clarity, or it's not the results aren't quite that necessarily.
- 57:41SPEAKER_01: They are internally, and I joke I do believe that as people would get into it and they would implement um what we're going through, they would begin to see a transformation on the inside, and that would eventually come out and would, I believe, revolutionize how people view life.
- 58:27SPEAKER_01: Um and so it I would love to be able to take people through that and have them experience it for themselves because I strongly believe that it is possible to live a truly freedom-filled life here on earth.
- 59:04SPEAKER_01: We people don't have to wait, I don't think, for eternity.
- 59:13SPEAKER_01: And I do believe that non-Christians are somewhat depending on Christians to live lives that are God honoring here because eternity depends on.
- 59:43SPEAKER_01: And so it's I truly believe in my program, I believe people would greatly benefit um from it, and I currently I don't have paying clients, but I do have God's blessing on it, and um I I believe in it.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I do too.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_04: I I I have faith in it as well.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_04: I think that um as Christians, um, you you said a couple things that I thought were just perfect.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_04: Um, one, as Christians, having to set the example.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_04: Um, I was reading this yesterday, I believe, about being obedient, you know, walking in our obedience because I was doing my podcast yesterday.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_04: And um there's four different ways we can do that.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_04: And one is, you know, we could do it through our fear, but he'd rather us do it through our love for what he did for us, not for the fear.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_04: And so when we think about our children, our own children or people that have children or people that have loved ones, when you tell them the truth about something, it's because you love them.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_04: You're not trying to put the wrath on them, right?
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_04: You're trying to protect them, like, hey, you know, don't drive 150 miles down the road in a 20-mile zone.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_04: You're gonna kill someone or yourself.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_04: I mean, that's kind of an idiosity thing to do, but you know, how else do you tell them not to do it other than out of, you know, when you tell them people think you're being mean?
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_04: And we live in a world that is so offended by the truth.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_04: And it's actually like what you said again is scary because even speaking that truth, even though you're right about it, and it's not like, oh, I'm trying to be right or trying to be wrong, but even if you are right about it, they still don't want to hear it because they're just offended that you told it.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they don't they don't even get past the to to the realism of what the fact is.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_04: They're offended just because you spoke truth.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_04: And that's kind of the culture that we live in now.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_04: Truth is not um spoken, lies are the enemy.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_04: Has spoken so many lies over our lives, our identity, like what you said, it's gonna be an internal transformation, not necessarily a clarity call or a call to um um to action, but a personal spiritual cleansing, I think.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_04: And the other thing I wanted to point out is that you said is like when people are waiting.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_04: I tell people this almost all the time.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_04: God wants you right where you're at.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_04: He's not waiting for you to get cleaned up first.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_04: When your kid falls down in the dirt and they're crying, you don't tell them, well, come and talk to me, you know, come come and cry with me after you clean the dirt off yourself.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_04: You know, you pick them up while they're crying.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_04: And that's what God does.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_04: He picks us up in our mess.
- 1:02:52SPEAKER_04: And I feel like people um are waiting to get cleaned up before they feel like they can go to Christ.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_04: And I just I really try to encourage our listeners that um God wants us right where we are, he already knows where we are.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_04: We can't hide from him.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_04: We can sweep as much as we want under the rug, but he already knows every particle of dirt.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_04: He made us from dirt.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_04: So he knows what we are made of.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_04: So I I always try to encourage listeners to that.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_04: So I think that's a great program.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_04: Um, I love that you start off with the foundation because without it, then you're just treading on the sand, you know.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_04: And so I think it's a great place to start because when you throw seed, um depending on where it lands, it's gonna be dependent on the fruit that you receive or whether it even starts to grow.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_04: Um, is it gonna get choked out by the weeds?
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_04: Is it gonna be um you know strangled by the weeds?
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_04: Or is it gonna get um my friend says when she plants her garden, the bird eats birds eat half of her seeds before they get they they get anywhere, you know.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_04: So she puts out down double the seed, you know, because she knows the birds are gonna eat them.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_04: And so when we're planting seeds in out in the world, we need to take um into heart, like, where are we planting these seeds?
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_04: Who are we offering them to?
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_04: And I think sometimes with coaching, it's just getting that right person that's really ready.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_04: That person says, Hey, I want that transformation.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_04: And I know a lot of people need this transformation, they really need it.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_04: Um, so I'm gonna be really praying uh diligently, and I'm gonna pray that all of our listeners out there um will go to your website, check it out, read your book, um, do a couple of your lessons.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_04: Um, I also like your affirmation and the affirmation cards.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_04: What a great idea! That's an amazing idea.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_04: Um did you make those cards yourself?
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: I did.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_04: You did.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_04: Okay, I was gonna ask you because yeah, that's a really, really awesome thing.
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_04: Um I I'm probably gonna order some of those for me, by the way, because I think that's a great idea.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_04: So um we need to be speaking affirmations over ourselves and over our life and over our identities because the world is is telling us we're one thing when we're really not.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_04: We're not where the world is.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_04: Um it if the enemy had his way, we would all be worldly, you know.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_04: That's what we're supposed to refrain from.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_04: And it's very hard because we still live in the world.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_04: We're still living.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_04: So it makes it difficult.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_04: But anyway, would you share in closing with our listeners um a scripture that um you would like to share that would encourage our listeners today to give them a little bit of hope?
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_01: Give us um 2 Corinthians 5, 7.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_01: It's what we walk by faith, not by sight.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: And so often it seems like we're getting that backwards.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_01: And that to me that plays right into Satan's hand.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_01: And again, he Satan doesn't force anyone to do anything.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_01: It's our choice.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_01: And it Yes, we may feel bogged down with you know having to analyze all the choices we make, and yet to one visual God has really given me that has helped me understand a lot is to picture God and Satan standing in front of you.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_01: And whenever Satan gives you a negative thought or some sort of negative circumstance comes up and you would give in to that, you would submit to that.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_01: Picture how that would go.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_01: Picture how you would leave God standing there.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_01: I don't know about you, but to me that just that visual is quite convicted to realize that whenever I choose to submit to a negative action or thought I'm leaving God behind.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_01: Um we walk by faith, not by sight.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_01: That should be our parallel cry, I think.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_04: Yeah, as simple as that verse is, um, I I definitely agree that we are doing it backwards.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_04: Um we we we do things based off of what we see and hear instead of the faith that we have in it and the believing in it.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_04: Um there's times that I didn't believe in in healings per se.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_04: Um and um a friend of mine had a bad back and she got healed, you know.
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_04: And I thought, oh well, that's you know, just you.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_04: Like that was just a quinky date.
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_04: It was a coincidence, you know, because I did I did my faith was kind of weak at that time, you know.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_04: And um she's like, no, my back really is healed.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_04: Like I'm she's like, I'm not even just saying, you know, you know, sometimes we think people are just saying it, but you know, you could tell by the reaction if they're really telling the truth.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_04: And then I had um, so I have a I have a liver problem where my body doesn't allow um the insulin, the liver to come or the insulin to come out of my um liver, it hoards it.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_04: So I'm anemic.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_04: Okay, right?
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_04: And so um not insulin, but I'm anemic.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_04: So the iron, I mean, not not insulin.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_04: I apologize.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_04: The iron does not come out of my liver, so my the rest of my body is being starved from it.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_04: I'm being deficient in it.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_04: And they wanted to put me on um iron medication, but it would destroy my liver.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_04: So because my liver had too much.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_04: So it was like a catch-22, and I was like, Well, what do I do about that?
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_04: And they're like, Well, we're not really sure about that one.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_04: Like, we don't know why your liver's hoarding all your iron, but your liver's full of it, but your rest of your body is weak.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_04: Um, people could literally walk up and bump into me and I would bruise.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_04: My body was really deficient in iron.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_04: I was really, really immune, uh, my immune system was really weak.
- 1:09:59SPEAKER_04: And so um, a pastor prayed over me that I would be healed, and I was.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_04: Now my iron deficiency is fine.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_04: I don't have an iron deficiency, it's normal.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_04: So it's crazy um to think that.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_04: But I used to get like liver pain.
- 1:10:14SPEAKER_04: My liver would just have so much iron and it would just be painful, like carrying an anvil around.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_04: It would be very painful, you know.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_04: And I kept going, man, what my liver's really acting up today.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_04: I must be hoarding some iron, you know.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_04: And so um, I know that sounds like a weird medical condition to have, but that's what one thing that I had gone through in my life.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_04: And um, once I got healed from it, it strengthened my faith.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_04: And I wasn't even sure I believed it until I went to the doctor.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_04: And he and he's like, No, you're healed.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_04: Just believe it.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_04: You have to believe in it.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_04: If you don't believe in it, you know, you have to believe in it.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_04: I'm like, well, why tell me I'm healed if I don't believe, you know?
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_04: And I had to go to the doctor, and sure enough, I was healed, you know, and I was excited and you know, had to get run right back to church to tell everybody that I was healed because my faith was weak.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_04: And I think the reason we don't get healed as often as we do is because our faith is weak.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_04: And we don't see the you know the blessings that God, God wants to bless us with things, but he knows we don't have enough faith to accept those blessings.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_04: We're losing out on a lot of promises.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_04: I tell people, if you don't have faith, you're missing out on promise right there, because it says that you know, if we don't walk by faith and we only walk by sight, you're missing out on the promises you don't see that he wants to give us.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so that includes healing to me.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_04: So, well, I want to thank you so much for being here.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_04: We do need to wrap it up because our time is running out.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_04: But um, how exciting! And um, I'm excited to see how this goes, and I hope that um people get on your website and they read your book.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_04: And I I know I'm definitely gonna read um which one what is it called?
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_04: Uh oh, Beyond the Mirror.
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I can't wait.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_04: That's the one I can't wait to read.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_04: I think that it's definitely gonna resonate for me because especially like I told you about the book that I'm writing, um, I think it it's gonna be something similar.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_04: So I'm excited to see how they go hand in hand.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_04: But um, I would love to have you come back on sometime and share some more and um share what you're doing and um touch space with you if you'd like to.

- 1:12:57SPEAKER_04: And um, Bethany, I thank you so much for coming.
- 1:13:00SPEAKER_04: And I'm glad it was a little long overdue.
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_04: I apologize for that.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_04: But Satan, you know, he tries.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_04: He tried.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_04: I think Satan tried today.
- 1:13:07SPEAKER_04: Uh, you know, not today, but in the past to keep this from happening.
- 1:13:10SPEAKER_04: And um, you know, I prayed about it last night and I said, you know what, the enemy is not gonna have his way.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_04: You know, like you said, this is a divine appointment.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_04: And I agree.
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_04: I prayed about that this morning.
