  Speaker 1: care about policies being made. I care about how it

  Speaker 1: affects people, especially the common man.

  Speaker 2: But let me say this about it.

  Speaker 1: I have positioned myself, and I'm not talking about finance

  Speaker 1: or anything like that. I'm talking about spiritually. I have

  Speaker 1: positioned myself spiritually why I'm able to cope and handle
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: whatever comes my way.

  Speaker 2: Now.

  Speaker 1: My favorite scripture is Isaiah fifty four seventeen. No weapon

  Speaker 1: formed against me shall prosper. But now understand something. That
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: does not mean that there will not be weapons formed.

  Speaker 1: They do it all the time. You all face haters
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: all the time, and haters are on every level. You

  Speaker 1: don't have to have done anything to them. You don't

  Speaker 1: have to even know you or enemies. Just here it come.

  Speaker 1: But no weapon formed against me show prosper. Now you

  Speaker 1: can form it. But I have news for you. I

  Speaker 1: have positioned myself spiritually while I am fully aware that

  Speaker 1: I am under the protected wings of God Almighty, and

  Speaker 1: that he loves me, and that there's nothing you can do.

  Speaker 2: There is no force, there is no curse, there is no.

  Speaker 1: Evil, there is no satanic power that can separate me

  Speaker 1: from the love of God. That's how much God loves

  Speaker 1: you that there's nothing that can separate you for it. Now,

  Speaker 1: we as human being, we have the power of decision.

  Speaker 1: Now you can decide to keep God as a presence

  Speaker 1: in your life, or you can choose not to. I

  Speaker 1: your best interest to keep God as a permanent presence

  Speaker 1: in your life, not just for when you're in trouble,

  Speaker 1: but when it's going aok to keep Him in your life,

  Speaker 1: to stay in constant contact with him.

  Speaker 2: I haven't always done that.

  Speaker 1: That's how I know what I'm talking about, because when

  Speaker 1: I decided to do it, it just made my life

  Speaker 1: a lot smoother. And I am telling you, if you

  Speaker 1: keep God's presence in your life, it will help you

  Speaker 1: in so many levels. It provides you with the level

  Speaker 1: of peace. Because I'm telling you something. If you are

  Speaker 1: trying to do this without God, I got news for you.

  Speaker 1: You ain't that nice, You not you ain't that big.

  Speaker 1: You ain't that knowing you ain't that powerful, You really

  Speaker 1: ain't that nice man. This thing called life it requires

  Speaker 1: a very present help. Now listen to me. Your relationship

  Speaker 1: with God is very personal. You don't have to be
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: a member of this faith, this church, this denomination, this religion.

  Speaker 2: You got to have a relationship with God.

  Speaker 1: You can start by simply forming it, by talking to him.

  Speaker 1: You don't have to be on your knees. Just go somewhere,

  Speaker 1: man for a moment and just think about him and

  Speaker 1: call on him. If you say his name, Father, God,
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: if you say Jesus, it has an impact.

  Speaker 2: He hears you. He hears you immediately.

  Speaker 1: Here the cool thing about God, y'all, there is no
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: busy signal, there is no life, there's no ticket necessary.

  Speaker 1: He is just available. He wants to have a relationship
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: with you. He created you to have a relationship with you. Now,
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: everybody's relationship is different, everybody's situation is different, everybody's walk

  Speaker 1: is different. Yours is very unique to you. I had
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: to come to terms say that about my life. Stop
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: comparing yourself to somebody else. The road that God has
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: you on is very very unique to you. Nobody has
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: ever traveled the exact path nobody has the exact same fingerprint.

  Speaker 1: That's how unique God made each one of us. So
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: stop looking at how somebody got it. Somebody did it,
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: somebody accomplished it. It was given to somebody. Man, you
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: don't know what the deal is behind that story, but
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: you have a chance to write your own own story.

  Speaker 1: And the best way to write this story is to

  Speaker 1: have relationship with God, because the pen becomes a lot
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: easier when God is controlling it for you. I think

  Speaker 1: the number one thing that I had to learn was
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: to trust in God's timing and his will. You know,
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: I used to be kind of hesitant to say, God,
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: let your will be done because I thought he was
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: going to x out a bunch of stuff I wanted
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: to do. And that's really why I didn't want his
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: will to be done in my life, because I just
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: didn't want him to ex out a bunch of stuff
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: I had plans to do. But boy, the older I got,
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: the more I learned his plans is way better than
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: your plans, and some of that stuff I didn't want
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: him to ex out it needed to be gone anyway.

  Speaker 1: It's amazing the time I've spent dedicated to foolishness.

  Speaker 2: I look back on it.

  Speaker 1: Man, boy, I'm so glad that I finally got sick
