- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Seacrest!
- 0:04Speaker 1: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest
- 0:10Speaker 1: with you. I don't know what to do. I just,
- 0:13Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not a good sleeper in the heat.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I'm not, things, I'm more impatient than normal in the heat.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I just, I don't have as much composure in the heat.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Do you find that with the hot afternoons, you're feeling
- 0:26Speaker 1: the same way?
- 0:26Speaker 4: I can't even fit my ring on my finger. Like
- 0:29Speaker 4: I'm so swollen from the heat.
- 0:31Speaker 5: It's crazy.
- 0:32Speaker 4: And I woke up this morning and I literally felt like,
- 0:34Speaker 4: do you know when you wake up some mornings and
- 0:36Speaker 4: you look in the mirror and you're just like not
- 0:38Speaker 4: feeling yourself?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yes, I do know that. Actually, I feel like it's
- 0:41Speaker 1: very familiar.
- 0:42Speaker 4: I tried on like five different outfits. I put my
- 0:45Speaker 4: hair in five different ways. I'm just like, I'm just
- 0:47Speaker 4: not wearing clothes.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I'm not wearing clothes. I'm just protesting clothes.
- 0:51Speaker 6: Okay.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Well, you're wearing clothes today.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Well, I'm wearing clothes here. But I wake up and
- 0:55Speaker 1: I spend more time at home with fewer clothes on
- 0:59Speaker 1: than ever before. I stretch in the morning without much
- 1:02Speaker 1: on right now. You don't want to be around for
- 1:03Speaker 1: any of that. But my morning stretch is a real
- 1:06Speaker 1: circus act.
- 1:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 1: When I get out of bed. But speaking of the ring,
- 1:10Speaker 1: so I have that. I just got this ring that
- 1:13Speaker 1: I read about for a long time that measures sleep.
- 1:16Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:18Speaker 1: People keep asking me, how do you sleep? I don't
- 1:20Speaker 1: know how I sleep. I think it's not great. And
- 1:23Speaker 1: it's not that much. Well, it turns out now that
- 1:25Speaker 1: I measure it, guess what? It's bad. It's worse. It's
- 1:28Speaker 1: worse than I thought.
- 1:29Speaker 5: No, this is so bad. It's like psychological warfare. You
- 1:32Speaker 5: got to take it off.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I will meet people that say to me, when do
- 1:36Speaker 1: you sleep? And I say, actually, I think I sleep
- 1:38Speaker 1: pretty well. I go to bed just like everybody else
- 1:41Speaker 1: and I just get up. But, you know, it's down
- 1:44Speaker 1: and up, down and up.
- 1:45Speaker 5: You don't because you pee in the middle of the night.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yes, apparently I'm up more. I'm awake more than I'm
- 1:50Speaker 1: asleep based on the graph that I'm shown every morning.
- 1:54Speaker 1: But I didn't realize how much I don't sleep. If
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm in bed for eight hours, I'm only getting about
- 1:59Speaker 1: four hours of actual sleep. So I don't know if
- 2:01Speaker 1: it's good to have this information.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Okay, so do you know what you need to try?
- 2:04Speaker 1: A relationship.
- 2:07Speaker 5: Transcendental. Is it transcendental? Meditation.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I've tried that. You have? Yes, I've tried that.
- 2:14Speaker 5: And it doesn't work?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Way too much of a commitment for me. Are you
- 2:18Speaker 1: aware of what it is?
- 2:19Speaker 5: I am not, but my husband told me I should partake.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Well, how can you refer to me as a good
- 2:24Speaker 1: friend if you don't even know what it is?
- 2:25Speaker 4: Because my trusted husband has referred it to me saying
- 2:28Speaker 4: that he thinks- Has he done it?
- 2:30Speaker 5: Yes, he has.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Have you seen the amount of commitment it is?
- 2:33Speaker 5: I have not.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Okay.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Well, why don't you go back and get your information
- 2:38Speaker 1: before you come pitching me an idea of TM?
- 2:40Speaker 5: I'm just trying to help you. This is nice.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I know you are.
- 2:42Speaker 5: We just share information.
- 2:45Speaker 1: But you don't even have any information. That's the irony
- 2:47Speaker 1: of it.
- 2:47Speaker 5: But we can do it together. We can hold each
- 2:49Speaker 5: other accountable.
- 2:49Speaker 1: No, I tried it. I tried it. It's not for me.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I do my own meditation. It's a little bit of
- 2:55Speaker 1: watch a sunrise if I can, watch a sunset, breathe
- 2:58Speaker 1: a little bit, and stretch. That's my meditation.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Anyway.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I'd say all this to get to the fact that
- 3:03Speaker 1: it's going to be sunny and hot again. 100 plus,
- 3:07Speaker 1: deep 90s in most places. So let's start by paying
- 3:10Speaker 1: a bill. Get the good vibes going next to Kiss FM.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Kid C. Krez, Tanya, the back room. Mikayla all fired
- 3:15Speaker 1: up back there, coming in with some energy this morning. Now,
- 3:18Speaker 1: what is it, Mikayla?
- 3:20Speaker 8: So your thirst trap has been all over my group
- 3:23Speaker 8: chat with my friends.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So I don't know what you mean by my thirst trap. Oh, yeah, you.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Exactly what you mean.
- 3:32Speaker 1: A thirst trap sounds, when people say you posted a
- 3:36Speaker 1: thirst trap, it sounds, isn't that a desperate connotation?
- 3:39Speaker 5: No.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Isn't thirst and desperation synonymous?
- 3:43Speaker 7: No.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You have it so wrong. I thought thirsty was desperate.
- 3:48Speaker 7: No.
- 3:48Speaker 5: But you posted a thirst trap. And you knew you
- 3:51Speaker 5: were doing it when you posted it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I knew I was posting it for sure.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Because not only did we get the front, We got
- 3:57Speaker 5: the back as well.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I mean, I just, you know, I'm tired of all
- 4:01Speaker 1: the hours and then not getting Mikayla's attention in the
- 4:05Speaker 1: group chat. Now, were the comments cheesy? What were they, Mikayla?
- 4:11Speaker 8: My friends love you, number one. One of them loves you,
- 4:14Speaker 8: like has a crush on you, like always has. I
- 4:16Speaker 8: think I told you this, but she's the one that
- 4:18Speaker 8: sent in the chat and everyone was like, oh my gosh,
- 4:20Speaker 8: like didn't know Ryan was that ripped. Wow, okay, Ryan
- 4:24Speaker 8: looking good.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Like they.
- 4:26Speaker 8: They were really into you. And I was like, guys,
- 4:29Speaker 8: that's my coworker.
- 4:30Speaker 1: That's who I work with. Now, look, here's the thing.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm very grateful to get the attention of your group chat.
- 4:36Speaker 1: That's a big step. But I wanted to... Here's the thing.
- 4:40Speaker 1: First of all, I have been totally torturing myself working
- 4:43Speaker 1: out and focused on it. But as a kid, I
- 4:46Speaker 1: started thinking about why did it matter to focus on
- 4:51Speaker 1: this and be so disciplined for this moment? As a kid,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I was... terrified of taking off my shirt. As a kid,
- 4:59Speaker 1: I was chubby. Go Google it. Seacrest chubby. You'll see
- 5:02Speaker 1: it all there, Ronnie.
- 5:02Speaker 5: I know they call them all there.
- 5:04Speaker 6: Yes.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Husky, husky jeans. I do remember the pictures. So, well,
- 5:08Speaker 1: thank you. Uh, so do I. And it's like, it's
- 5:11Speaker 1: those things that happen when you're an adolescent, they stick
- 5:14Speaker 1: with you. I mean, I, I hate to say it,
- 5:15Speaker 1: but it's true. They stick with you into your adulthood life.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And I just remember the feeling of all those summers
- 5:23Speaker 1: and spring breaks wearing my t-shirt in the pool and
- 5:25Speaker 1: And then of course the t-shirt sticks to your skin.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So it doesn't really hide anything. And I think maybe
- 5:32Speaker 1: that's why I decided to just torture myself a little
- 5:36Speaker 1: bit with the, you know, I don't know, working out.
- 5:40Speaker 5: That's what somber song.
- 5:42Speaker 4: My body isn't ready is all about. It's like these
- 5:45Speaker 4: insecurities that he has as a man and his body.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And truly, if he does a reprise to that track,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I would, Audition to be in the music video, Somber.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Yeah, it feels like a missed opportunity.
- 5:58Speaker 1: There's no way I can maintain it. There's just no way.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It's just too much work. Really? It's hard. Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 5: But I feel like you're there now. Isn't it easier
- 6:07Speaker 5: to maintain?
- 6:08Speaker 1: No, now I want to go cheesecake with you. I
- 6:11Speaker 1: want to go to the cheesecake factory and eat from
- 6:13Speaker 1: the crust up.
- 6:14Speaker 5: We're talking about the messages we got. What happened to
- 6:18Speaker 5: you and your DMs? Did you get any?
- 6:19Speaker 1: I just got a bunch of guys. A bunch of
- 6:21Speaker 1: my guy friends took their shirts off and sent me pictures.
- 6:23Speaker 1: It was all dudes. No way. All dudes. It was
- 6:26Speaker 1: really interesting. All guys. So they sent me pictures of
- 6:30Speaker 1: themselves with their shirts off. Ones that thought they looked good.
- 6:33Speaker 5: And I'm like, no, not one thirst trap from a girl.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That is correct. It was a bunch of, I mean,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I can show you the guys with their shirts off
- 6:41Speaker 1: if you'd like to see. Kiss FM. Now, Tanya's got
- 6:45Speaker 1: a trending report here in a second. Tanya, what do
- 6:47Speaker 1: you have for us in a minute?
- 6:48Speaker 4: Our courthouse weddings and secret engagements, the new it way
- 6:51Speaker 4: to do proposals.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Interesting. Also, we have a Ryan's Roses coming up at
- 6:56Speaker 1: 740 this morning. A recent FaceTime call on her husband's
- 7:01Speaker 1: phone left her with some questions, questions she's hoping we
- 7:05Speaker 1: can help get answers to. 7.40. We will get into that.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So if you want to check out Ryan's Roses, 7.40
- 7:13Speaker 1: on iHeartRadio, on your car radio, your smart device. Now
- 7:16Speaker 1: let's get to this trending report. So I do think,
- 7:19Speaker 1: I believe I've been hearing more about these courthouse weddings
- 7:22Speaker 1: than ever before, and I have a theory, but go ahead.
- 7:24Speaker 1: What do you have to report?
- 7:25Speaker 4: So Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid added again, the two
- 7:28Speaker 4: of them were spotted leaving a dinner in Paris. The
- 7:30Speaker 4: both of them were wearing matching gold bands on their
- 7:33Speaker 4: left ring fingers. And This isn't the first time. Back
- 7:36Speaker 4: in August, they were also spotted in Paris holding hands,
- 7:38Speaker 4: wearing these gold bands. And that's kind of when the
- 7:41Speaker 4: secret wedding rumors first started. But people on the internet
- 7:43Speaker 4: tracked the rings back to the jeweler. Both rings are
- 7:47Speaker 4: literally called wedding bands. So neither one of them have
- 7:51Speaker 4: confirmed anything. Obviously, this is all speculation. But they have
- 7:54Speaker 4: been together since October 2023. So it's been three years.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Like we mentioned, the courthouse weddings, Dua Lipa, Dove Cameron
- 8:00Speaker 4: just did a courthouse wedding. But I feel like people
- 8:05Speaker 4: are doing these things that are a little bit less showy,
- 8:10Speaker 4: a little bit less flashy, a little, because I think
- 8:13Speaker 4: wedding culture has just gotten so out of hand. Like
- 8:16Speaker 4: there's this influencer that literally recreated her entire wedding prior
- 8:21Speaker 4: to the wedding so that she could have like the
- 8:22Speaker 4: photos just one day and then the wedding, like have
- 8:26Speaker 4: it be its own separate day. So I feel like
- 8:28Speaker 4: now the pendulum is swinging the other way where people
- 8:30Speaker 4: are just kind of like People.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Who are in the sweet spot of age to get married,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and there is sort of an average sweet spot for that,
- 8:36Speaker 1: where a lot of people do it in their lifespan,
- 8:39Speaker 1: they are spending less on... the big celebration because they
- 8:45Speaker 1: want to spend it on their own experiences together.
- 8:47Speaker 7: Right.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And if you think about it, like going to the
- 8:49Speaker 1: courthouse is what, 250 bucks, 150 bucks, a couple hundred bucks, right?
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And the appointments are really filled up here in California,
- 8:56Speaker 1: but a couple hundred bucks, you're married. The average wedding
- 9:00Speaker 1: costs 35, $ 36, 000. You can put that towards you and
- 9:03Speaker 1: your partner. Yeah. Awesome.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Honeymoon.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And people are like wanting to live their, their, their
- 9:11Speaker 1: experiences for them and, not necessarily for everybody else. I
- 9:14Speaker 1: think that's that, you know, it's like Gen Z right now.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It's marriage time.
- 9:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 4: It is interesting though, because like Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid,
- 9:21Speaker 4: money is no object, right?
- 9:23Speaker 5: But yet they're choosing to quiet.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I think quietness is, is probably if they did it,
- 9:28Speaker 1: they've just want to keep it quiet. Yeah.
- 9:30Speaker 5: It's like the new chic, the new chic way.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it's actually pretty smart, pretty clever. Save
- 9:36Speaker 1: the money, spend it on yourself, create some great experiences,
- 9:39Speaker 1: go enjoy your new relationship. Now people often do this,
- 9:42Speaker 1: To limit how much they check their phone. But the
- 9:45Speaker 1: opposite is happening. And I do believe this is true. Plus,
- 9:48Speaker 1: a quote of the day is next. This is interesting
- 9:50Speaker 1: because a lot of us do this because we want
- 9:53Speaker 1: to not look at our phone. And that's why we
- 9:55Speaker 1: put it on Do Not Disturb. But because it's on
- 9:57Speaker 1: Do Not Disturb, now we don't know if we got
- 10:00Speaker 1: a message or not, so we end up checking it.
- 10:01Speaker 1: The facts are people check their phones on average 53
- 10:05Speaker 1: times a day when notifications were on. But if you
- 10:08Speaker 1: have it on Do Not Disturb, on average 98 times
- 10:11Speaker 1: the phone was checked.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I never respect the Do Not Disturb. I'm always like,
- 10:14Speaker 4: notify anyway.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But I have mine on Do Not Disturb, and I
- 10:18Speaker 1: find myself– Checking and checking again because I just don't know.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:23Speaker 1: And that defeats the whole purpose of it. Now, here's
- 10:26Speaker 1: a quote of the day today. It will work if
- 10:30Speaker 1: you forget all the reasons why it won't.
- 10:35Speaker 9: Ah, yes.
- 10:37Speaker 5: That's deep.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It's actually very pragmatic.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:40Speaker 6: All right.
- 10:41Speaker 1: It's almost 7 o'clock here on LA's number one music station.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Paying your bills, coming up with 710. And tell your
- 10:47Speaker 1: friends to send a bill, too, because if they win,
- 10:49Speaker 1: you get paid. Basically, it's a referral fee, essentially. 710,
- 10:52Speaker 1: next chance to get your bills paid. 740, Ryan's Roses.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Right now, Tanya's the headline. Kiss FM headlines with Tanya Radd.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Well, the Dodgers beat Atlanta yesterday to advance to the
- 11:02Speaker 4: National League Championship Series for the third straight year. They
- 11:06Speaker 4: will play the Milwaukee Brewers starting Sunday.
- 11:08Speaker 6: The L.A.
- 11:09Speaker 4: City Council voted to ban tobacco and cannabis shops from
- 11:12Speaker 4: selling nitrous oxide. also known as Lapping Gas or Whippets.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Malibu is the latest beach city to declare a local
- 11:20Speaker 4: emergency to prepare for a potentially historic El Nino storm season,
- 11:24Speaker 4: and Tate McRae announced her new single, Housewife, will arrive
- 11:28Speaker 4: one week from today.
- 11:29Speaker 1: All right, our sold-out jingle ball is coming up. It
- 11:33Speaker 1: is December 4th. Hilary Duff, Sienna Spiro, Bella Kay. It's
- 11:38Speaker 1: going to be big. It's sold out already. But I
- 11:41Speaker 1: want to give you tickets. So we got tickets for
- 11:42Speaker 1: you to win here on Kiss FM. And Eileen in
- 11:44Speaker 1: Simi Valley. Good morning, Eileen. How are you?
- 11:48Speaker 6: I'm doing good.
- 11:49Speaker 5: How are you?
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'm great. Thank you. We want to get you into
- 11:54Speaker 1: our sold-out Jingle Ball. So we are going to play
- 11:56Speaker 1: Jingle Ball before or after. Let me explain. Okay. I
- 12:01Speaker 1: will give Tanya a Jingle Ball lineup.
- 12:04Speaker 6: Okay.
- 12:05Speaker 7: All right.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And see if she remembers what year was that lineup
- 12:09Speaker 1: on the bill. If she gets it right, you get
- 12:11Speaker 1: that one automatically. If she gets it wrong, then you
- 12:14Speaker 1: just say, was it before or after Tanya's guess?
- 12:19Speaker 6: All right. Okay.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I'll walk you through it as we go.
- 12:22Speaker 7: All right.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I feel good about this connection, Eileen. I feel good
- 12:25Speaker 1: that you're going to do well on this. And Tanya,
- 12:27Speaker 1: I feel great about your recall skills.
- 12:30Speaker 5: I have terrible dates.
- 12:33Speaker 6: You guys are great.
- 12:34Speaker 8: No, you're great.
- 12:35Speaker 1: You're awesome. These were seminal moments in life. Didn't I
- 12:38Speaker 1: just give you a quote? Like, don't put the negative
- 12:39Speaker 1: out there if you want it to actually happen.
- 12:40Speaker 5: You're so right. Eileen, I'm here.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm positive. Positivity. All right, here we go. Cardi B,
- 12:47Speaker 1: Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris. What year was that, Tanya? 2021. Okay,
- 12:54Speaker 1: she's wrong. Was that before or after 2021?
- 12:57Speaker 6: After.
- 12:57Speaker 1: No, it was before 2018.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Wow.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Okay, next one. The Jingle Ball lineup this year was Taylor,
- 13:08Speaker 1: Ariana Grande, and Nick Jonas. Tanya?
- 13:12Speaker 5: That's a good lineup.
- 13:15Speaker 4: I'm going to say 2009.
- 13:19Speaker 1: No, she's wrong. Okay, before or after 2009, that lineup?
- 13:24Speaker 6: After. Yes, 2014.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Good job. Okay, the next one. Jingle Ball Bill was
- 13:31Speaker 1: Mariah Carey. Okay, okay. Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, and Destiny's Child. Tanya,
- 13:36Speaker 1: what year was it? 1998. No. Eileen, before or after 1998? After. Yes, correct. 2002.
- 13:48Speaker 6: All right.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You're one away. Come on, Tanya. Okay. I'm doing well, probably.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Benson Boone, SZA, and Tate McRae. What year, Tanya?
- 14:01Speaker 5: Wasn't that last year? 2025?
- 14:03Speaker 1: Wrong. Was it before or after Eileen?
- 14:07Speaker 7: Before.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yes.
- 14:09Speaker 6: 2024.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You're going to our sold out jingle ball. Oh, I'm
- 14:15Speaker 1: so happy.
- 14:16Speaker 5: Stress.
- 14:17Speaker 1: A lot of pressure on me when I got to
- 14:18Speaker 1: rely on Tanya. All right. Eileen, thank you for playing along.
- 14:24Speaker 1: We'll see you there. I love you too, Tanya.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Thanks.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Let's go. Paying your bills and Ryan's Rose is on deck.
- 14:31Speaker 1: So DoorDash, Megan, it's a pretty wild change as to
- 14:33Speaker 1: how we get stuff. Let's get into this quickly because
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'm fascinated by drone delivery, robot delivery, how our food
- 14:40Speaker 1: is going to get to our front door. Then we
- 14:42Speaker 1: will make this Ryan's Rose's call, which we've been waiting
- 14:45Speaker 1: to do. But DoorDash is launching essentially their own drone airline, Tanya.
- 14:50Speaker 4: DoorDash Air, which will use drones to deliver certain restaurants' orders.
- 14:54Speaker 4: So drone deliveries are starting in Northern California with places
- 14:57Speaker 4: like Chipotle and Popeyes. DoorDash says about 80% of its
- 15:00Speaker 4: typical restaurant orders are already small and light.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Enough to fly.
- 15:04Speaker 4: The system will look at weather, traffic, distance, all of
- 15:07Speaker 4: those things. They're also making ordering easier. You'll be able
- 15:11Speaker 4: to just text DoorDash what you want instead of opening
- 15:14Speaker 4: the app. they're adding stores like Macy's, Anthropologie, North Face Vans.
- 15:19Speaker 4: I mean, it's basically going to be like whatever you want,
- 15:22Speaker 4: you can.
- 15:23Speaker 5: get it to your front door.
- 15:25Speaker 1: So the way it's going to work is if there's
- 15:27Speaker 1: bad weather, they'll just, they'll call the drone down. They won't,
- 15:29Speaker 1: they'll go by ground. I mean, there's no question about that.
- 15:32Speaker 1: But when the drone comes to your place, you have
- 15:34Speaker 1: to have a place for it to hover. And then
- 15:36Speaker 1: the drone doesn't land. It's just like an arm lowers
- 15:38Speaker 1: it down and delays it onto your doorstep in front
- 15:42Speaker 1: of your home.
- 15:42Speaker 4: There was this show called pluribus where like, this was
- 15:46Speaker 4: the actual reality.
- 15:48Speaker 5: And that's what I'm envisioning with this. And I'm down.
- 15:51Speaker 5: I think it's amazing.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Well, what about like, you know, when you get something
- 15:55Speaker 1: and they've forgotten their orders wrong or they forgot a
- 15:58Speaker 1: side or something like that, this would be great because
- 16:00Speaker 1: they're quickly go be able to pick up your fries.
- 16:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 1: They forgot and bring it right back. But what about seagulls?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Will they eat your fries? Will seagulls attack your food?
- 16:09Speaker 5: No, because it's in the bag. It's not like just
- 16:11Speaker 5: a french fries floating through the air.
- 16:13Speaker 1: These seagulls are crafty.
- 16:14Speaker 6: No.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Have you ever seen them at the beach? They get
- 16:16Speaker 1: into everything. I'm just saying, like, the birds might start
- 16:18Speaker 1: figuring out ways to crack the DoorDash airline.
- 16:21Speaker 4: I'm sure they've thought of this. And, like, they might
- 16:23Speaker 4: be in a different sort of, like, container or something
- 16:25Speaker 4: like that. But I'm so down for this. One time
- 16:27Speaker 4: I got a delivery and a piece of my ice
- 16:29Speaker 4: cream thing had, like, a spoon out of it.
- 16:34Speaker 5: And I've never been the same.
- 16:35Speaker 10: What did that do?
- 16:36Speaker 1: What does that have to do with DoorDash delivery?
- 16:38Speaker 5: If a robot, there's no, robot's not going to dip
- 16:41Speaker 5: a spoon into my.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Are you saying somebody took a taste, somebody couldn't resist
- 16:44Speaker 1: your pick an ice cream?
- 16:45Speaker 6: Yes.
- 16:45Speaker 1: We don't know that it was DoorDash, by the way.
- 16:47Speaker 5: No, I don't think it was, but it was definitely somebody.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Did you then throw that out?
- 16:52Speaker 7: Yes.
- 16:53Speaker 5: And I definitely filed a complaint.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Oh, good for you. Yeah.
- 16:56Speaker 6: All right.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Coming up next. Let's go. Speaking of complaints, we have
- 16:59Speaker 1: one filed here in their marriage. 102.7 KISS FM. It's
- 17:04Speaker 1: time for Ryan's Roses. So Danielle is on the line. Danielle,
- 17:09Speaker 1: thanks for reaching out. She says, you know, when you
- 17:12Speaker 1: end a FaceTime call, it shows you recent FaceTimes. So
- 17:16Speaker 1: you were talking to your sister-in-law on your husband's phone
- 17:19Speaker 1: when the call ended and you saw a recent FaceTime
- 17:23Speaker 1: with your husband's ex. Is that true?
- 17:26Speaker 10: Yes, with my husband of three years. Yes, I basically
- 17:30Speaker 10: took a screenshot and I sent it to you guys,
- 17:32Speaker 10: which you have. So my husband was talking to his brother, Eric,
- 17:36Speaker 10: and then he handed me the phone. And then when
- 17:38Speaker 10: Eric's wife got on, who I normally talk to, I
- 17:41Speaker 10: finished the call. And that's when the previous FaceTimes came up.
- 17:45Speaker 10: And I basically I know who all of those people
- 17:48Speaker 10: are and they all make sense, except for Christine. And
- 17:52Speaker 10: that's his ex. And as far as I know, like
- 17:55Speaker 10: we haven't spoken, like they haven't spoken at all since
- 17:59Speaker 10: we got married three years ago.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I don't like a FaceTime call with an ex when
- 18:04Speaker 1: you're married. Right. How long was the call? Did you
- 18:08Speaker 1: get the time, the stamp on it?
- 18:12Speaker 10: I honestly didn't because I kind of just like was
- 18:15Speaker 10: freaked out and I just like showed him like immediately.
- 18:18Speaker 7: Right.
- 18:18Speaker 10: And then he's just like.
- 18:20Speaker 6: Okay.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I'm looking at it.
- 18:21Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 18:21Speaker 1: It says. Is it 6.52 a.m.? What time was the call?
- 18:26Speaker 6: Was it... The call?
- 18:27Speaker 1: That doesn't say the time.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 1: How long was the call?
- 18:35Speaker 10: I was so freaked out. I didn't even look. I
- 18:37Speaker 10: was just like, what is this all about? I immediately
- 18:41Speaker 10: showed him. And then he was like, oh, it must
- 18:43Speaker 10: have been a butt dial. It rang. It stopped before
- 18:47Speaker 10: he could answer. I have had that happen.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I accidentally FaceTime people, but that's people I just call.
- 18:53Speaker 4: For sure.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So, something's up. Yeah, the call still goes, it still
- 18:56Speaker 1: goes through.
- 18:57Speaker 10: Like, even if it, like, was, like, one ring or
- 18:59Speaker 10: a little, like, a little ring, it still goes through. So, like,
- 19:01Speaker 10: you're still able to see it, right?
- 19:03Speaker 2: So, he doesn't ever call back.
- 19:05Speaker 10: Or even texted her.
- 19:07Speaker 1: So, you think he's having a FaceTime conversation with her
- 19:09Speaker 1: and he's also covering it up because you asked him
- 19:11Speaker 1: about it.
- 19:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Right? All right.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Hold on one second. We will call him next and
- 19:16Speaker 1: find out what's going on. Ryan's Rose is a kiss.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It's Ryan's Roses. We're about to call Danielle and Monrovia's husband.
- 19:24Speaker 1: She happened to stumble upon a recent FaceTime call with
- 19:29Speaker 1: her husband of three years, his ex. She then sends
- 19:34Speaker 1: the screenshot to us. We're looking at it. It was
- 19:37Speaker 1: a recent call. She asked him about it. He says
- 19:40Speaker 1: it must have been a butt dial. Well, for it
- 19:41Speaker 1: to be a butt dial, I'd have called her recently.
- 19:43Speaker 1: It wouldn't be top of the chain there. So why
- 19:47Speaker 1: is Danielle's husband of three years FaceTime. his ex and
- 19:51Speaker 1: then not admitting to it? I mean, that's the other part.
- 19:55Speaker 1: At least if you asked him about it and he
- 19:57Speaker 1: answered you honestly and had a legitimate reason, that would
- 20:02Speaker 1: be a little bit better than, I mean, we know
- 20:04Speaker 1: he's lying about it because you've got the screenshot that
- 20:06Speaker 1: you've sent us of the FaceTime.
- 20:09Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 20:09Speaker 1: So why is he lying about it? And why is
- 20:12Speaker 1: he even talking to her? Not text, not audio, FaceTime.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Bigger deal.
- 20:19Speaker 6: Bigger deal.
- 20:19Speaker 1: All right, Danielle, I need you to say, Ryan, you
- 20:21Speaker 1: have my permission to call and then his name. Go ahead.
- 20:25Speaker 10: Ryan, you have absolutely my permission to call.
- 20:28Speaker 1: What's his name? All right, we're going to call him now.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Be very quiet. Sissy's going to offer him romantic roses.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Do you know his ex's name?
- 20:38Speaker 2: Christine.
- 20:40Speaker 6: Steam. Okay.
- 20:42Speaker 1: So we will see who's top of mind. And here
- 20:46Speaker 1: we go. Good luck, Danielle.
- 20:55Speaker 6: Hey, babe.
- 20:58Speaker 7: Hello?
- 21:00Speaker 6: Hey. Hi.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Is this Eddie?
- 21:03Speaker 7: Oh.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Sorry, I thought that this was someone else. Who is this?
- 21:10Speaker 2: My name is Pam. I'm calling from Pretty Petals. How
- 21:12Speaker 2: are you doing this morning?
- 21:13Speaker 6: I'm fine. Why do you call people with a blocked number?
- 21:20Speaker 9: Oh, I didn't realize your number was blocked in our
- 21:22Speaker 9: database as normal, as a normal number.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Okay.
- 21:28Speaker 9: So the reason I'm calling, Eddie, is because we deliver
- 21:30Speaker 9: here locally and surrounding areas, and we're doing a free promotion.
- 21:33Speaker 9: It's a dozen red roses that you can send anybody
- 21:35Speaker 9: that you'd like.
- 21:38Speaker 6: I'm not interested in this.
- 21:39Speaker 2: No, they're free. I don't need cash from you. It's
- 21:42Speaker 2: not a subscription. It's nothing.
- 21:43Speaker 9: We are a local flower shop here, and we are
- 21:46Speaker 9: just trying to promote our business. So if you like
- 21:48Speaker 9: our arrangements, you can come back as a customer one day.
- 21:50Speaker 5: No strings attached.
- 21:51Speaker 6: That's great. With all due respect, I really don't have
- 21:54Speaker 6: time for this.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Is there anybody you want to send flowers to? Anybody?
- 21:59Speaker 6: No, I'm really not interested. Thank you for your call.
- 22:02Speaker 6: I wish you the best of luck.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Eddie, your voice is being broadcast on the radio, and
- 22:04Speaker 1: I've got your wife, Danielle, on the line. Why not
- 22:06Speaker 1: send her flowers?
- 22:10Speaker 6: Excuse me?
- 22:11Speaker 1: Your wife, Danielle, has asked us to call you because
- 22:14Speaker 1: she saw the recent FaceTime with your ex.
- 22:19Speaker 6: Hold on. What do you mean?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Just that. Did you call your ex recently? No. Who
- 22:30Speaker 1: did you think was calling you? Answer the phone. Hey, babe.
- 22:33Speaker 6: I thought it was my wife calling.
- 22:36Speaker 5: From a blocked call?
- 22:41Speaker 1: Did you call your ex recently on FaceTime, Maddie?
- 22:45Speaker 6: All right. I don't know who this is. I don't
- 22:48Speaker 6: know what's going on, but I don't need to answer
- 22:50Speaker 6: your questions.
- 22:51Speaker 7: All right.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Well, then Danielle will ask.
- 22:52Speaker 10: It's all starting to make sense now. It's all starting
- 22:55Speaker 10: to make sense now. I even said to you one day,
- 22:57Speaker 10: I was like, why do you have so many calls
- 22:58Speaker 10: from a block number? And you were.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Like, I know, right?
- 23:02Speaker 10: I mean, it must be on some list sales. People
- 23:03Speaker 10: call me every day. But that was Christine, wasn't it?
- 23:06Speaker 10: She called you from a block number?
- 23:07Speaker 6: Danielle, hold on. It's not what you think.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Well, what is it then?
- 23:15Speaker 10: I think you've been talking to your ex and hiding
- 23:18Speaker 10: it from me. Does that seem pretty accurate? No.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:22Speaker 6: We should get off the phone and we should have
- 23:24Speaker 6: a normal, simple conversation without anyone else listening.
- 23:27Speaker 10: One question. Are you sleeping with her?
- 23:32Speaker 6: Am I sleeping with her?
- 23:33Speaker 7: No.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Why are you talking to her?
- 23:34Speaker 6: Daniel, of course not.
- 23:37Speaker 10: So why are you lying about that?
- 23:38Speaker 7: Why are you lying about it?
- 23:40Speaker 10: That wasn't a butt dial.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Was it? I am not lying. Danielle, I'm not doing
- 23:44Speaker 6: this on the radio. All right? Why aren't you being
- 23:47Speaker 6: on the radio? I'm not going to talk about my
- 23:51Speaker 6: life on the radio like this.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Why are you so upset?
- 23:53Speaker 6: We can talk in private.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Why are you so angry?
- 23:59Speaker 6: Okay.
- 23:59Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:00Speaker 6: I'm angry because I don't know where this is coming from.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Well, I think it sounds guilty.
- 24:05Speaker 10: This isn't like you. You seem... Yeah, you sound, like, guilty.
- 24:07Speaker 10: You sound like... Like, there's something else that's going on
- 24:10Speaker 10: that you're not telling me. And, like, you need to
- 24:12Speaker 10: just be upfront and honest about it.
- 24:14Speaker 6: Seriously.
- 24:15Speaker 10: Like, don't be that kind of guy who's been married
- 24:16Speaker 10: for three years.
- 24:18Speaker 7: Why did you answer, hey, babe? Who, like... Who blocked call?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Who does that?
- 24:24Speaker 6: Okay, this is absolutely crazy. You're just going to put
- 24:27Speaker 6: me on the radio like this.
- 24:28Speaker 10: If a blocked number called me... If a blocked number
- 24:30Speaker 10: called me, are you serious?
- 24:31Speaker 6: I'm not going to be like, hey, babe.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Like... Just be honest.
- 24:35Speaker 10: All of those blog calls that you were saying that
- 24:38Speaker 10: was a sales call, what was it exactly?
- 24:40Speaker 7: It was her, right?
- 24:42Speaker 6: I can explain everything to you, but I want to
- 24:45Speaker 6: do this in private. I don't want to do this
- 24:46Speaker 6: in public.
- 24:47Speaker 1: We're going to let you go do this in private. Danielle,
- 24:50Speaker 1: there's clearly something going on. He's so super defensive, and
- 24:55Speaker 1: it's not good. Bye-bye, Eddie.
- 24:59Speaker 10: I'm so glad that I have you guys, honestly, to
- 25:01Speaker 10: hear how weird he sounds.
- 25:03Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 25:04Speaker 6: I agree.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Eddie, go spend time with your wife. Daniel, good luck.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Thank you for reaching out. What is it he has
- 25:11Speaker 1: to talk about?
- 25:12Speaker 6: Something.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Clearly. And so aggravated. Ryan's Roses. On air with Ryan Seacrest. So,
- 25:24Speaker 1: Justin Bieber, Speed Demon. I think I have said, Mark,
- 25:28Speaker 1: one of the mottoes, philosophies, call it what you want,
- 25:31Speaker 1: is for me to put myself last. And make sure
- 25:35Speaker 1: everybody here on this show has found their human. I'll
- 25:38Speaker 1: deal with myself later. And I think I've done a
- 25:40Speaker 1: great job. being here for you to all find your humans.
- 25:43Speaker 1: And then every time I get close to somebody, a
- 25:46Speaker 1: new person starts and I've got to restart my search
- 25:49Speaker 1: for them.
- 25:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 25:50Speaker 4: You can't do that because it's a never ending cycle.
- 25:53Speaker 1: This back room just repopulates.
- 25:55Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't wait for love till that's all.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Always kicking my pursuit to the side, but I'm happy
- 26:02Speaker 1: to do that. So Michaela is the one we've been
- 26:05Speaker 1: focusing on. She is one of the remaining single back
- 26:08Speaker 1: room people. And she's been on all the dating apps.
- 26:11Speaker 1: But then recently she went to this live event that's
- 26:14Speaker 1: touring where you were the bachelorette and they give you
- 26:18Speaker 1: bachelors to choose from. What happened, Michaela?
- 26:20Speaker 7: Yes.
- 26:21Speaker 8: So I actually had like a pre-interview, you know, to
- 26:23Speaker 8: talk about guys like my type and what I was
- 26:26Speaker 8: interested in and what I was looking for. And when
- 26:29Speaker 8: each contestant came out on stage, they were honestly all great.
- 26:33Speaker 8: Like this was so hard to pick such a great,
- 26:36Speaker 8: like all these great guys. And Some of them had
- 26:39Speaker 8: silly red flags, but for the most part.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Silly red flags. So not real red flags.
- 26:45Speaker 7: Right.
- 26:45Speaker 8: Because when I eliminated each one of them, I had
- 26:47Speaker 8: to give a green flag and a red flag. And
- 26:50Speaker 8: the red flags, you know, they were silly. Like one
- 26:52Speaker 8: was he refuses to kill spiders. He's afraid of spiders.
- 26:55Speaker 8: Like I don't want to kill spiders. So he needs
- 26:57Speaker 8: to be the one to kill spiders.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Oh, wow. I mean, so in your view, was this
- 27:03Speaker 1: crop of guys better than the guys you've been meeting
- 27:06Speaker 1: on the apps?
- 27:06Speaker 8: Absolutely.
- 27:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 1: They're hot. Look at these guys.
- 27:10Speaker 8: They are good looking.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 8: They were picked for me, you know, and what I
- 27:14Speaker 8: was looking for. So I think that's also another reason.
- 27:16Speaker 1: All right. So how many did you red flag?
- 27:19Speaker 8: I had to red flag all of them.
- 27:21Speaker 1: How many were there total?
- 27:22Speaker 8: So even if it was something silly, I had to give.
- 27:24Speaker 5: A red flag.
- 27:25Speaker 1: How many did you start with?
- 27:27Speaker 8: Well, I had to eliminate one guy each round.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Well, how many rounds are there? I've not seen this. Four.
- 27:32Speaker 8: Four rounds.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Okay, four rounds. So you gave four reds. You got
- 27:35Speaker 1: one green?
- 27:36Speaker 8: And one, yeah, all reds. I had to give green flags.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Do we have a guy?
- 27:40Speaker 8: We do.
- 27:40Speaker 7: That's what I'm trying to get to.
- 27:43Speaker 1: We gave all the reds. So you had to fly
- 27:46Speaker 1: the green flag somewhere. Yes. Tell me about the green
- 27:50Speaker 1: flag guy.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Wait, before you tell us about the green flag guy,
- 27:52Speaker 4: out of the four bachelors, Ryan, who would you have
- 27:55Speaker 4: chosen for Mikayla?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Based on what?
- 27:57Speaker 5: Their looks.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Obviously. Just their still photograph that I've got in front
- 28:03Speaker 1: of me. I would have gone with Kenny. Me too.
- 28:07Speaker 8: He was the first one I eliminated.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Why would you eliminate Kenny? For me, he's the best
- 28:13Speaker 1: looking guy with the best cheekbones and great eyebrows. He's
- 28:17Speaker 1: got a great face. I don't know anything about Kenny.
- 28:18Speaker 5: The beard is divine.
- 28:21Speaker 8: All the guys also brought me a gift. He drew
- 28:23Speaker 8: me a rose, but he was... Older, not that that mattered,
- 28:26Speaker 8: but he was really into fitness and working out and
- 28:29Speaker 8: eating healthy and running. What's the problem?
- 28:33Speaker 5: That's the thing. All these guys were great.
- 28:35Speaker 1: It was so hard. Exactly. But why do you get
- 28:39Speaker 1: eliminated for being fit? Yeah.
- 28:41Speaker 8: That was just one of the red flags I had
- 28:43Speaker 8: to go with. Like, it was just.
- 28:44Speaker 1: You want the red flag? The guy that's got a
- 28:47Speaker 1: chiseled face and a good body and a fitness?
- 28:49Speaker 4: This is not good for Ryan after his thirst trap.
- 28:51Speaker 5: This is not good news.
- 28:53Speaker 8: All the guys, like, were great. So it was so hard.
- 28:56Speaker 8: I had to eliminate one. And that was just one
- 28:58Speaker 8: of the top reasons.
- 28:59Speaker 6: I'm shook. I don't know.
- 29:01Speaker 1: So the guy that got the green flag really had
- 29:03Speaker 1: some good things going for him. We're going to meet him? Oh,
- 29:05Speaker 1: my gosh. Mom, if you're listening, this is so exciting.
- 29:09Speaker 1: We're going to meet Michaela's green flag guy pick from
- 29:11Speaker 1: this Love Isn't Blind live show she did. And we're
- 29:15Speaker 1: into him. Okay. A lot of things have changed over
- 29:18Speaker 1: the last couple of hours here at this show. He's
- 29:21Speaker 1: agreed to come on the air. We're going to meet him.
- 29:23Speaker 8: Yep.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Thank you from above.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Thank you from above.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Thank you for this season. Thank you for the stars.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Thank you for retrograde, whatever we're in. Let's kiss. Let's go. Sunshine,
- 29:36Speaker 1: hot relief coming fall. is going to hit us within
- 29:40Speaker 1: hours of the weekend. Very excited for that. Anyway, but
- 29:44Speaker 1: most importantly right now, Michaela's been on this journey. We've
- 29:47Speaker 1: been following it along. She's trying to find her person.
- 29:49Speaker 1: She's been on the dating app. She goes to this
- 29:51Speaker 1: Love Isn't Blind live basically dating show. And she's the bachelorette.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Four guys that were tailored for her. She found it
- 30:00Speaker 1: difficult to give out red flags. She had a red
- 30:02Speaker 1: flag three. She green flagged this guy named Rusty. So
- 30:06Speaker 1: what's the concept? How do you pick your guy?
- 30:10Speaker 8: So they're not allowed to talk on stage. So the host, Allie,
- 30:13Speaker 8: asks them yes or no questions. And then one to
- 30:16Speaker 8: ten questions. And then I get a chance to ask
- 30:18Speaker 8: them questions. And so does my bestie, who's actually on
- 30:20Speaker 8: stage with me. And then we also call their mom.
- 30:23Speaker 8: And we go through their phones to find some red flags.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. What a brilliant idea.
- 30:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:28Speaker 1: So you went through this guy's phone, you talked to
- 30:30Speaker 1: his mom and he got the green flag. What did
- 30:32Speaker 1: he do to win you over?
- 30:33Speaker 8: So he planned a great first date. So every single
- 30:37Speaker 8: guy had to plan a full day event for a
- 30:40Speaker 8: date and his was great. He also has a great
- 30:42Speaker 8: relationship with his mom. He seemed funny. He was always
- 30:44Speaker 8: down to answer the questions and you know.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Where's he from?
- 30:48Speaker 8: He's from Alabama.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Oh, Oh my gosh. Let me bring him in. Rusty.
- 30:52Speaker 1: It's Ryan Seacrest. How are you?
- 30:55Speaker 10: I'm doing well.
- 30:55Speaker 3: How are you?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Well, you're already a green flagger in my book. I'm
- 30:59Speaker 1: well because you are a good sport to come on
- 31:01Speaker 1: the air with us at Michaela's job. So thank you.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 31:05Speaker 3: The green flags are being waved.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I couldn't be more excited. I needed something. Now, what
- 31:12Speaker 1: is it about Michaela that you were drawn to?
- 31:16Speaker 3: Um, well, there was, there was four of us that
- 31:18Speaker 3: were drawn to her and I didn't think I stood
- 31:20Speaker 3: a chance. I even told her, I was like, guy,
- 31:22Speaker 3: number two has in the bag.
- 31:23Speaker 1: He made her cookies.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Um, but I think immediately, uh, Kenny, Kenny was the
- 31:30Speaker 3: spider guy, right? He was afraid of spiders.
- 31:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Um, since he brought in like fresh baked cookies, I
- 31:36Speaker 3: was like, I don't stand a chance.
- 31:38Speaker 6: I'm out. Um, but I think.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Immediately I, cause I was in the audience when Michaela
- 31:44Speaker 3: started walking and I was like, oh my gosh, that's her.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I don't stand a chance. All right.
- 31:48Speaker 3: I should probably believe he's like way out of my league.
- 31:51Speaker 3: And then they like Allie called the host, called me
- 31:54Speaker 3: first and the hand started shaking.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I was nervous. Now what? So one guy baked cookies.
- 32:03Speaker 1: What did you do? What were, did you do anything?
- 32:06Speaker 3: I brought her a card and it said, don't open
- 32:10Speaker 3: unless you pick me.
- 32:12Speaker 6: And I was like, oh, no, did I pressure her?
- 32:16Speaker 6: But I think it worked out. I think it worked out.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Maybe it was the card that that she was drawn to.
- 32:22Speaker 1: You got to have a higher view of yourself. I mean,
- 32:23Speaker 1: you got these other dudes. You got the green flag.
- 32:27Speaker 1: So let's let's believe in Rust. Yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 6: You're right. You're right.
- 32:34Speaker 1: All right, now, she said you came up with a
- 32:36Speaker 1: great first date. Where are you going? Because Tanya and
- 32:39Speaker 1: I will be nearby.
- 32:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 32:44Speaker 6: Well, fantastic.
- 32:46Speaker 3: We're going to, we might start with some art, do
- 32:49Speaker 3: a little art walk in Culver City. And I think
- 32:51Speaker 3: I'm going to grab some pizza.
- 32:53Speaker 6: I love it.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Oh, Makayla.
- 32:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:56Speaker 1: How many times have I told you you need to
- 32:57Speaker 1: meet a guy named Rusty from Alabama?
- 32:59Speaker 8: He also planned a date on stage and it included you, Ryan.
- 33:03Speaker 5: Oh, I thought that was the date. I was like,
- 33:05Speaker 5: I'm walking pizza.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Oh, that one.
- 33:08Speaker 10: Oh, goodness.
- 33:10Speaker 8: So he also planned a dance.
- 33:11Speaker 6: You mean that one?
- 33:12Speaker 8: Stage, yeah. So he included you, Ryan. So it was
- 33:15Speaker 8: like the morning, like pancakes and then lunch with Jess
- 33:18Speaker 8: and Ryan. Jess is my bestie. So he included you
- 33:20Speaker 8: in our date.
- 33:22Speaker 1: That was super nice of you, Rusty. I have to
- 33:24Speaker 1: tell you, I can't be there for the rest of
- 33:25Speaker 1: the relationship, though. That's okay.
- 33:31Speaker 3: I was supposed to pick either morning, afternoon, or night.
- 33:33Speaker 3: And I was like, I kind of want to spend
- 33:35Speaker 3: all day with her. Is that possible? And so I
- 33:37Speaker 3: was just like, let's get lunch with Jess and Ryan.
- 33:39Speaker 6: Oh. This is great. All right.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Well, look, we're happy to meet you. I don't want
- 33:43Speaker 1: to pressure you to any more answers on the air.
- 33:46Speaker 1: You guys do your thing. And then we will follow
- 33:48Speaker 1: up weekly on Tuesdays at seven 20. Rusty, what's your
- 33:50Speaker 1: Zodiac sign?
- 33:51Speaker 5: Oh, I'm a Libra.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Oh, interesting. What does that mean, you guys? I don't know.
- 34:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 34:05Speaker 5: Libra and Aries.
- 34:07Speaker 4: I don't know their compatibility, but I will do some digging.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 34:10Speaker 6: All right.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Well, good luck, Rusty, and take care. She's into you.
- 34:12Speaker 6: Later, bro. Thank you. All right. Bye.
- 34:16Speaker 1: He's got personality. I'm excited for it. Just keep us posted.
- 34:18Speaker 1: We don't want to get up in your business, but
- 34:20Speaker 1: we will. 720 on Tuesdays. All right, Michaela. Things looking
- 34:24Speaker 1: up around here. 102.7 Kiss FM. We just met the guy, Rusty,
- 34:28Speaker 1: that she met going on her date with. If you
- 34:30Speaker 1: just got here, we'll fill you in as it progresses.
- 34:32Speaker 1: But Riley first. Northridge. Let me take you now. Now, Riley,
- 34:36Speaker 1: thanks for calling in. Your friends invited randos to your wedding.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 34:44Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it sure is.
- 34:47Speaker 7: Well, a few weeks ago, we were at my bachelorette party,
- 34:51Speaker 7: and a group of girls we didn't know ended up
- 34:54Speaker 7: joining us. And we all had a great time, and
- 34:57Speaker 7: we exchanged Instagrams, and we've actually stayed in touch, which
- 35:01Speaker 7: is cool. But apparently, my friend got along with them
- 35:06Speaker 7: so well that she invited them to my wedding.
- 35:11Speaker 1: And now, yeah.
- 35:12Speaker 7: And now all of the girls are reaching out to
- 35:14Speaker 7: me saying how excited they are to come. And it
- 35:17Speaker 7: sucks because I never invited them. And I really like
- 35:22Speaker 7: them and I could see us becoming friends, but I
- 35:24Speaker 7: barely know them. And also my wedding is already expensive.
- 35:29Speaker 7: It's 120 bucks a head. And I'm not looking to
- 35:33Speaker 7: spend hundreds of dollars on people that I just met,
- 35:37Speaker 7: you know? Yeah.
- 35:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Now, have you heard about this new trend called the
- 35:42Speaker 1: courthouse wedding?
- 35:45Speaker 10: Yeah, I know.
- 35:47Speaker 6: Yeah, do a leap. I did it and it was chic.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it costs $ 150, $ 200. You don't have to worry
- 35:54Speaker 1: about these headaches of all these other people.
- 35:57Speaker 6: I know, but my Pinterest board says different. So I'm
- 35:59Speaker 6: just like, I don't know.
- 36:01Speaker 10: What to do.
- 36:02Speaker 7: Because my friend thinks that I'm being rude.
- 36:04Speaker 2: They're being rude.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I agree. I know. As the expert on weddings, it's
- 36:14Speaker 1: your day. It's you and your fiancé' s day. So you
- 36:18Speaker 1: do what you want to do that makes you happy,
- 36:21Speaker 1: that makes it beautiful and memorable and what you envision
- 36:25Speaker 1: and what you want. And do not worry or care
- 36:28Speaker 1: about everyone else's comments.
- 36:30Speaker 5: This isn't her problem.
- 36:31Speaker 4: Her friends invited the random people and now she has
- 36:34Speaker 4: to be.
- 36:34Speaker 5: The one to disinvite them.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Her friends have made it. Exactly. Her friends have made
- 36:37Speaker 1: it her problem. You need to go to those friends, Riley,
- 36:39Speaker 1: and say you're uncomfortable with this. Full stop. Feel no guilt.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Feel no badness. It is completely appropriate for you to
- 36:45Speaker 1: reject the randoms that they invited. That is my view. Totally.
- 36:49Speaker 1: I appreciate that. All right, well, good luck. And I
- 36:54Speaker 1: question my friends who are just pulling in people that
- 36:57Speaker 1: they meet that you don't know for your wedding. I know,
- 37:01Speaker 1: but this stuff, it happens. That's going to do it
- 37:04Speaker 1: for us. Tomorrow, we're paying your bills $ 1, 000 every hour,
- 37:09Speaker 1: so make sure I get your name so I know
- 37:11Speaker 1: what bill to pay. DJ XXXL is in here, and
- 37:14Speaker 1: we're just a day or so out, a little closer
- 37:17Speaker 1: to the relief of the heat. want to get through
- 37:19Speaker 1: the week and get into that weekend where it feels
- 37:21Speaker 1: a little better, more comfortable for everybody. Have a good one.
- 37:24Speaker 1: It's Kiss FM. Talk to you early. Thanks for listening
- 37:27Speaker 1: to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe
- 37:30Speaker 1: and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
