- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you, That's why is a founding member of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to b F Y t W. I
- 0:41Speaker 2: am your host Pants Sarin with me as always on
- 0:45Speaker 2: our panel show inspired podcast.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We have Stevie.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Basic himself at the last.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Moment for no reason. No raisins, no raisins.
- 1:00Speaker 2: O my god, chocolate chips either, He's just not a
- 1:02Speaker 2: cookie man.
- 1:04Speaker 3: And Ai Hi, it's being I'm Augie.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Long suffering, poor bastard who has to live with this nutcase.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Oh me, yeah, yeah, you want to want to talk
- 1:15Speaker 4: about that holy ship.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I want to know about the life at the asylum.
- 1:22Speaker 2: You're taking some of a chill show today. I think
- 1:25Speaker 2: it's only been two or three episodes since our last one.
- 1:28Speaker 2: But a I am getting over a cold.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I mean that's good and we.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Honestly just felt like chilling today, just relaxing, maxing and relaxing,
- 1:38Speaker 2: having a good time. In fact, after this we're gonna
- 1:40Speaker 2: go eat pizza and play rock band. Hell yeah, I'm
- 1:45Speaker 2: so excited for that. We've been talking about it forever
- 1:48Speaker 2: and just having a good ship good just haven't done it,
- 1:51Speaker 2: so now we're gonna do it. And it's gonna be
- 1:52Speaker 2: a good time. I cannot wait. I'm jazz. My fingers
- 1:56Speaker 2: are gonna fucking kill me. Oh yeah, they're gonna be
- 1:58Speaker 2: so pissed. Yeah, I'll be lucky if I can sleep.
- 2:02Speaker 2: My fingers just be.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Nothing borrows.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I'll recovery, it'll be worth it, will take breaks. Well yeah,
- 2:09Speaker 2: all that stuff. But I am getting ready.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Saving his voice and his magic fingers.
- 2:18Speaker 2: My finger is nice and ready.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Don't stream today. We gotta get ready for singing and ship.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I forgot.
- 2:32Speaker 2: My god in heaven, all right, I might.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I think it's a video of that throw well the same,
- 2:40Speaker 1: all right, well.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Whatever, there might be a Patreon bonus if you're a
- 2:46Speaker 2: Patreon listener. But anyway, so that's why we're not doing
- 2:49Speaker 2: full intro today. We're just saying, Hi, what's up? What's
- 2:56Speaker 2: it's already over.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Work for today is done? Good job, Jens.
- 3:03Speaker 2: The shortest episode. I was so tempted to but it was,
- 3:10Speaker 2: oh yeah, make like seventy five bucks a month. Yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 2: something like that. I mean, you know.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Upgrade you're coming from that. Well, so I'm excited.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That, like the numbers are growing, to be real, to
- 3:23Speaker 2: be real, our numbers are growing. We're getting more listeners,
- 3:25Speaker 2: and we're getting more uh, getting more Patreon subscribers. Stevie
- 3:29Speaker 2: just literally just talked to somebody on the flight over
- 3:31Speaker 2: and got us some new subscribers.
- 3:33Speaker 1: That was funny.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That was unreal, to be honest, that was cool.
- 3:37Speaker 1: It was what networking does. Man. Yeah, I like networking.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I used to love it. Now I'm like it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: But I mean what I mean what must have happened
- 3:44Speaker 2: is that he must have listened to an episode and
- 3:46Speaker 2: really liked it, and he was like, yeah, these fools
- 3:48Speaker 2: are going to be worth following check out and he
- 3:51Speaker 2: joined the Patriot you think it was.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Then somebody was at the show too, who is.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, somebody came to the show from from the plane.
- 3:59Speaker 1: It was just awesome.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It was wild. So yeah, just our interactions with people
- 4:04Speaker 2: have literally been driving.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to this spring because my plan is
- 4:11Speaker 1: to take advice from a wonderful great friend of b
- 4:15Speaker 1: F Y t W, David Atovino, his advice and go
- 4:19Speaker 1: down to the Buffalo Improv. I'm gonna go check it
- 4:22Speaker 1: out and check it out. Yeah, because I was like,
- 4:23Speaker 1: it's getting nicer route. I already checked the area out.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It's not bad at all, So I'm gonna head down
- 4:27Speaker 1: there and see see what's up. Maybe uh maybe do
- 4:32Speaker 1: uh you know, like one of those.
- 4:36Speaker 2: One of those shows.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Yeah, like we can, we can do stuff. It could
- 4:40Speaker 1: be something simple. We can do one of the video
- 4:42Speaker 1: game ones. You do post one of those up. Somebody
- 4:45Speaker 1: can win like a T shirt or some ship. Actually,
- 4:48Speaker 1: everybody who comes up wins something anyway, even if they lose,
- 4:51Speaker 1: they win something. They're like, no you get something like
- 4:54Speaker 1: that could be fun as fuck.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd be down. So we could absolutely do that.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Preparation for something like that.
- 5:01Speaker 2: We can make it more entertaining last time. Last time
- 5:06Speaker 2: we just did kind of standard trivia and and and
- 5:10Speaker 2: and like surveys and ship. But I was thinking, like
- 5:13Speaker 2: what if what if we did something that was more
- 5:15Speaker 2: improv gaming. So we could do something improv gamy and
- 5:19Speaker 2: I could award spins rather than rather than earning them
- 5:22Speaker 2: through trivia.
- 5:23Speaker 1: So I like that.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I mean it does kind of put the game in
- 5:27Speaker 2: my hands as.
- 5:27Speaker 1: The host, which is probably time.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Like mixing comedy with our game show does not seem
- 5:32Speaker 2: like off brand for us at all. Yeah, we should
- 5:35Speaker 2: absolutely do that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I feel like trying to be funny that would be fun.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, could. It could be a lot of fun. It could.
- 5:41Speaker 2: It could be it could be a really good time.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I've even been thinking about like crazy ideas, like and
- 5:47Speaker 2: this is so dumb for it kind of I kind
- 5:50Speaker 2: of want to do it.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Nothing else we've done.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So we're we're gearing up. We're taking a month before
- 5:57Speaker 2: we actually start doing it, but we are gearing up
- 5:59Speaker 2: for f y tw on the on the clock Tower.
- 6:02Speaker 2: We're gonna play like a monthly game of blood in
- 6:04Speaker 2: the clock Tower. I have been watching an insane amount
- 6:08Speaker 2: of Dealer or No Deal UK, Like, oh, I literally
- 6:11Speaker 2: can't in preparation. I literally I can't stop watching that show.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I've just been having such a great time. And then
- 6:18Speaker 2: I had a thought. I was like, what if we
- 6:20Speaker 2: crossed over the two. What if for like a charity event,
- 6:24Speaker 2: every player had a box and if they died, they
- 6:26Speaker 2: had to open their box and whatever they had in
- 6:29Speaker 2: it was taken off the table. And then every morning,
- 6:32Speaker 2: after the newest dead person had been announced and they
- 6:35Speaker 2: opened their box, town had to decide as a group
- 6:39Speaker 2: whether they were going to Deal or No Deal.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Oh my god, is interesting so much with them you
- 6:51Speaker 5: have we could do it I.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Think it could be really interesting. If the game gets
- 6:55Speaker 2: down to final three and the town successfully nominates a demon,
- 7:00Speaker 2: they would have one last decision whether to deal or
- 7:03Speaker 2: no deal, and if there are only two people left,
- 7:05Speaker 2: town would have to decide which box to open and
- 7:08Speaker 2: vote for which one they were going to keep, unless
- 7:11Speaker 2: they took the deal at some point along the way,
- 7:12Speaker 2: in which case they wouldn't have to worry about it.
- 7:14Speaker 2: But if if the evil team won, if the demon
- 7:17Speaker 2: survived until the very end, then the demon's box would
- 7:20Speaker 2: be the one that counts, So we'd open up everything
- 7:23Speaker 2: else and whatever was in the demon's boxes what they'd
- 7:25Speaker 2: win unless they took a deal at some point. But
- 7:28Speaker 2: I feel like, I feel like this could be workable.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's like this could be And here's the thing. The
- 7:34Speaker 2: game could change depending on what script were running, because
- 7:36Speaker 2: there are scripts, so you can have up to four
- 7:38Speaker 2: or five people die in a single night.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Holy yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah. This is also a script where you can have
- 7:43Speaker 2: people come back to life, which would not be able to.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Work with the boxes.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Once the box is open, it's kind of open for good.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I get the closing box, you know.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I'm thinking of having like like like under twelve or
- 8:00Speaker 2: something like little small red boxes does deal or no
- 8:08Speaker 2: deal on the clock tower that clout. Yeah, I think
- 8:12Speaker 2: it could be. I think it could be really fun.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I would like to just try incorporating that. Well, at
- 8:17Speaker 2: some point we'll make it like a special thing. It's
- 8:19Speaker 2: not going to be something we do every time.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Right, but it would be kind of I'd be down.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I love doing.
- 8:24Speaker 2: But I could set like could set like a I
- 8:26Speaker 2: could send a maximum depending on how many how many
- 8:30Speaker 2: players we have, and also like you know, how broke
- 8:32Speaker 2: we are, right, but like you know, starting off, it
- 8:36Speaker 2: could be like one hundred dollars is the best box
- 8:38Speaker 2: you can get, So that would just be the max
- 8:40Speaker 2: amount that you could possibly win. All the offers would
- 8:43Speaker 2: be somewhere in between.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I think that's unfair. We can do that easily, and I, as.
- 8:48Speaker 2: The storyteller, would decide what what the offer should be,
- 8:51Speaker 2: so to give, to give, to try and give the
- 8:54Speaker 2: town a difficult time deciding.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Oh my god, I am so.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Especially because you don't always know who's gonna die, right,
- 9:01Speaker 2: And I wonder if it might make players like try
- 9:05Speaker 2: alternate strategies to be like I I nominate Stevie for
- 9:09Speaker 2: the block because I want to open his box. I've
- 9:11Speaker 2: got a really good feeling about it, right, you know
- 9:13Speaker 2: something stupid like that.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Why are you playing roulette with If you want to
- 9:18Speaker 1: play roulette, do it with your box. I think be
- 9:22Speaker 1: the one that should be off to right now. Throw
- 9:24Speaker 1: in fucking shade at me when I'm here trying to
- 9:26Speaker 1: help everybody being in a little joy goblin.
- 9:28Speaker 2: It's it's it is an additional complication in something that
- 9:32Speaker 2: we haven't worked all the wrinkles out of yet. So
- 9:35Speaker 2: this is still going to be probably some months away,
- 9:38Speaker 2: even after we start doing on the clock tower. But
- 9:42Speaker 2: it was an idea that I had and I was like,
- 9:43Speaker 2: this could be really fun.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I think it's a great idea. Dude, I'm one hundred.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I just hope Dealer no Deal doesn't sue us.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, No, we changed the name a little yeah
- 9:57Speaker 1: for deal deal or don't.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Uh agreer funk off agreer fu off, dealer off dealer
- 10:11Speaker 6: funk off.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I mean that would be a b would wait to
- 10:14Speaker 2: do it.
- 10:15Speaker 7: Yeah buck yeah or funk off.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah off. Yes, Oh man, you're write that down funk
- 10:35Speaker 2: yeah or funk off.
- 10:39Speaker 3: So b f y t W tuzz fu yeah, funk
- 10:43Speaker 3: off on the clock Tower.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I mean we kind of have to come up with
- 10:49Speaker 2: a clear title.
- 10:50Speaker 4: We have to is literally because you I mean literally.
- 10:59Speaker 2: One can where is censoring for that one? But the
- 11:03Speaker 2: other one and die and kill for God's sake.
- 11:06Speaker 1: All the other ones they go to Patreon, Yes, but
- 11:08Speaker 1: the charity one.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Because flip you.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm in for it, man. I think that's a
- 11:20Speaker 1: great idea.
- 11:22Speaker 2: That sounds so much except or decline.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean that's that's pretty much.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yes, it doesn't off the tongue as well, unfortunately.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I think you have fun off for the
- 11:34Speaker 1: Patreon regular video ones and the ones we do. But
- 11:37Speaker 1: for the charity one, we just find an alternate title,
- 11:40Speaker 1: kind of like the other online places.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I mean, all of these would be charity, all of them,
- 11:44Speaker 2: all of the dealers, no deal on the clock towers
- 11:47Speaker 2: then fuck would be charity.
- 11:49Speaker 4: So okay, so the fun yeah shall be done or
- 11:52Speaker 4: I have altered the deal.
- 11:56Speaker 1: No, I say, we still do it, but it'll be
- 11:58Speaker 1: the bonus content title of ahead fuck you ever funk
- 12:00Speaker 1: off there that goes to the Patriot everything else.
- 12:05Speaker 2: All right, We're still gonna We're gonna keep cooking, uh,
- 12:10Speaker 2: and see what we come up with otherwise.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, cook, it's fun.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Let's see. I don't have to go first. Does anyone
- 12:20Speaker 2: else want to talk about something they've been up to?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Last couple of weeks.
- 12:24Speaker 1: We went through last One Laughing, the British one, we
- 12:29Speaker 1: finished the Canadian one, and we're now onto the Australian one.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Rebel Wilson hosts it. Dude, I'm loving this stuff. They
- 12:38Speaker 1: are all there's so many iconic comedians and I'm alight.
- 12:42Speaker 2: The British one is. I mean, just the clips I've
- 12:44Speaker 2: seen from it make me really want to watch it.
- 12:46Speaker 2: But I hate Amazon so much.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I know, I don't pay them.
- 12:53Speaker 2: If you've you've got somebody else's Amazon Prime, why not?
- 12:55Speaker 1: But I didn't say that.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Oh okay, but are you sailing the high season? Maybe?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Are not? Are not?
- 13:03Speaker 4: Are not incriminating himself on this podcast? His favorite past
- 13:10Speaker 4: time almost got him?
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Last one Laughing just genuinely looks like a really
- 13:19Speaker 2: good time And I would love to watch the whole thing.
- 13:20Speaker 2: But like I said, I hate Amazon to the point
- 13:23Speaker 2: if I would rather stick forks in my eyes, that's
- 13:26Speaker 2: fair then pay for another subscription, especially because they support ice.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Right, yeah fuck that. Yeah, I drink my whiskey neat bitches.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But I brought that up because I thought last night
- 13:39Speaker 1: we were watching it, I was like, we could. We
- 13:42Speaker 1: would suck at this game to not laugh like me
- 13:44Speaker 1: half of my time me giggling anyway, like I'm fucked,
- 13:47Speaker 1: And on that one you can. You can't really smile either,
- 13:49Speaker 1: You're not soles a smile. Like it's more strict. But
- 13:52Speaker 1: I was like the only way we'd be able to
- 13:54Speaker 1: do it is if we did it as one episode
- 13:57Speaker 1: within an hour, because I'm gonna be out so fucking fast.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You get like a warning and then you're out and
- 14:03Speaker 1: that's it. But yeah, it would be fun, like to
- 14:06Speaker 1: prepare a bunch of jokes to like ten people in
- 14:08Speaker 1: the studio. It would be fun as fuck.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Just just put the funniest people we can't.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, all together and we just try to do it.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Like we get a bunch of different webcams hooked up,
- 14:19Speaker 1: like I'll get a hobby or some shit. We get
- 14:21Speaker 1: like five six webcams hooked up without the room, and
- 14:24Speaker 1: we go through it, and we'd to have somebody actually
- 14:26Speaker 1: like monitor a couple of people monitor it. But I
- 14:28Speaker 1: think they'd be fucking for fun for an hour and
- 14:30Speaker 1: a half or some shit dude to be hilarious. I
- 14:34Speaker 1: would prepare so much.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Slapstick he'd be gone in the first five seconds.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yes, you would literally make himself. He would make himself laughing.
- 14:43Speaker 1: As soon as that buzzer. Wait, I'm like, no, that
- 14:46Speaker 1: buzzer sounded funny. But yeah, I'm really, really, really enjoying
- 14:51Speaker 1: that fucking show. And I hope every continent does it,
- 14:56Speaker 1: all of them, every country, all all of them so far.
- 15:02Speaker 2: So far, you've watched the ones that you can understand. True,
- 15:06Speaker 2: if New Zealand does it, you're gonna jump on that.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Fuck. Yeah, I don't have no problem with subtitles and ship.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I was gonna say, New Zealand is mostly English, is it?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Okay?
- 15:16Speaker 2: They just have an accent that makes it a little
- 15:18Speaker 2: difficult to understand, but but you can get used to it.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I watched I think all of Task Master New Zealand.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Oh not all, I really dug it. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 15:28Speaker 2: a good time.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Oh that's so cool.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I think Task Master Australia has taken second best in
- 15:33Speaker 2: my opinion. Really New Zealand came out first, but Australia
- 15:38Speaker 2: is really good and I've I've enjoyed every series of
- 15:40Speaker 2: Australia as well.
- 15:44Speaker 1: So yeah, I love the comedy shows. It's been putting
- 15:46Speaker 1: me in a good mood. It's been nice, you know.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 1: What else has been putting me in a good mood?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Fucking hockey on Thursday?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Hell yeah, holy fuck, holy fuck man, Like there was
- 16:04Speaker 2: no need for that reaction.
- 16:05Speaker 1: There kind of was something like that hasn't happened in
- 16:07Speaker 1: a long time.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, it's.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Been a bit like it's been so.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we we've been getting together to play hockey in
- 16:16Speaker 2: NHL nineteen. Yeah, just because we've been playing it slowly,
- 16:22Speaker 2: Like we put an eighty two game season, so we'll
- 16:24Speaker 2: probably finish it in five years or so. So we've
- 16:27Speaker 2: been playing like we were playing every two weeks, but
- 16:29Speaker 2: now it's been like every three weeks because we usually
- 16:31Speaker 2: skip one because either somebody's sick, or it's the weather's.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Bad, really bad, or something happens.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Because this is a game you have to play together
- 16:39Speaker 2: in the same room. Because EA hasn't gotten their thumb
- 16:42Speaker 2: out of their ass and made one of these four
- 16:45Speaker 2: PC since two thousand and six.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Still makes no sense to me, especially at the age
- 16:50Speaker 1: of like when COVID happened and money.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I can only assume their word of executives is made
- 16:55Speaker 2: up entirely of how they're monkeys so who are constantly
- 16:58Speaker 2: shitting themselves sou and also have rabies. So we've been
- 17:05Speaker 2: getting together to play on my Xbox Series X. It
- 17:08Speaker 2: is literally the only reason I have that fucking machine,
- 17:11Speaker 2: so we can play hockey on it. Honestly, God, um
- 17:14Speaker 2: couldn't give a shit about anything else. It's true too, honestly,
- 17:19Speaker 2: only it's the only thing that's good for I don't
- 17:21Speaker 2: touch it for any other reason than hockey. So yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 2: So we got together and we played another game, and
- 17:28Speaker 2: as we usually do, we destroyed the other team, right,
- 17:32Speaker 2: but this time we destroyed them so thoroughly and almost
- 17:38Speaker 2: unconscionably because we were playing the Buffalo Sabers, a team
- 17:41Speaker 2: that we all kind of support, Yes, but we beat
- 17:45Speaker 2: them twenty to zero, shut them the fuck out. Not
- 17:52Speaker 2: only was our goalie on top of it, but we
- 17:54Speaker 2: had some surreal defensive plays. We were we were playing
- 17:58Speaker 2: like at the top of our game.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it was pretty fucking funny.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Oh my god, it was hit.
- 18:05Speaker 2: That first period Like, I was watching U, Steve, because
- 18:08Speaker 2: you were really on it, Like you were stealing pucks
- 18:10Speaker 2: from dudes in our end, just poking the stick out,
- 18:13Speaker 2: grab it, literally steal it from them, and then push
- 18:16Speaker 2: it back up to the offensive zone. I'm like, damn,
- 18:19Speaker 2: he is gunning for these assholes.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I wanted to play my position.
- 18:24Speaker 2: And usually usually we are so jazzed about hitting the
- 18:28Speaker 2: other team, like physically colliding with them and knocking them
- 18:31Speaker 2: into next week that that we like ignore everything else.
- 18:36Speaker 2: But like Stevie was seriously using every tool at his
- 18:39Speaker 2: disposal to stop these guys from scoring, and it was
- 18:43Speaker 2: fucking working. We managed to keep it up, even though
- 18:46Speaker 2: it felt a little lax by period three. I was
- 18:48Speaker 2: starting to feel a little antsy towards the end. If
- 18:51Speaker 2: they score at the last minute, I'm gonna be fucking pissed.
- 18:56Speaker 2: But we fucking did.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I was so worried that last minute. But the
- 19:00Speaker 1: hits goddamn. I'll tell you what, guys, if you're on Patreon,
- 19:05Speaker 1: and this is for all Patreon, the free subscribers to
- 19:08Speaker 1: Patreon two, the hockey videos would be going up probably
- 19:11Speaker 1: this weekend. Yeah, we took a couple.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Of every time. Every time we have an epic play
- 19:16Speaker 2: of some kind, Stevie asked me to stop the game.
- 19:19Speaker 2: We'll go into instant replay and actually take a look
- 19:22Speaker 2: at it. We have a fight that we captured. Oh
- 19:24Speaker 2: my god, it was amazing. Augie just beat the ship.
- 19:31Speaker 2: And that's the guy whose jog opproke.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, all he broke some job.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Fucking amazing. We had some surreal hits. I hit some
- 19:40Speaker 2: dude so hard he flew into uh, another player of Cernetics,
- 19:46Speaker 2: and he he went down to It was like fucking
- 19:49Speaker 2: trick shot.
- 19:52Speaker 3: That game is so much fun.
- 19:53Speaker 1: He got to play his.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Yeah, the difference couchcarp is still unbeatable.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's nice to have online when.
- 20:02Speaker 3: You can't with your friends from across the world.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Sure, it's great.
- 20:07Speaker 3: There's just something about being able to play in the
- 20:09Speaker 3: cheer together.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Because the energy in the room is shared. Everybody buys
- 20:15Speaker 2: into it. You can't help it. And I think that's
- 20:17Speaker 2: one of the reasons why like that game is so
- 20:20Speaker 2: like powerful for me, is just that memory of the
- 20:24Speaker 2: night we all played together. Yeah, six players, including somebody
- 20:29Speaker 2: playing goalie. He did not know how to do. No,
- 20:33Speaker 2: he'd not been trained on it he'd never like tried before,
- 20:35Speaker 2: jump right in, just figured it out on the fly,
- 20:38Speaker 2: and to have it come down to a tie and
- 20:41Speaker 2: then have a overtime winner, an overtime buzzer beater and
- 20:48Speaker 2: win the game. Yeah, electric. I will never forget that night.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god, I miss all this.
- 20:56Speaker 4: We cheered probably harder at our own victory and a
- 21:00Speaker 4: video game literally nothing.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and nothing to anybody but us.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Then probably most fans cheer for their own teams winning anything.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, I will one hundred percent agree because it's
- 21:13Speaker 1: something we all bonded with together and we all have
- 21:17Speaker 1: input and at the same time, like we're all doing this,
- 21:20Speaker 1: we're accomplishing this goal together, and it's fucking hype. Man.
- 21:24Speaker 1: It really is, like your adrenaline is going and ship.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it was fucking hard as ship.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes it was. It was a challenge on
- 21:31Speaker 1: top of it, and you overcame it.
- 21:32Speaker 4: I felt so bad every time, like when we lose
- 21:36Speaker 4: the puck, we immediately apollo, guys, I'm so sorry.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I'm so sorry.
- 21:41Speaker 4: We're trying to stop him, We're trying to stop him bad.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It was a unique experience that has yet to be replicated,
- 21:50Speaker 2: and I don't think it ever will no, but it
- 21:53Speaker 2: was oh so good. Uh And and every hockey game
- 21:58Speaker 2: I enjoy thoroughly, but it it's every now and then
- 22:00Speaker 2: when you get a special one like this one. When
- 22:02Speaker 2: we shut them out cold, right, that was epic, it
- 22:06Speaker 2: felt at the time.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It still feels that it's been years, dude like since
- 22:13Speaker 1: we did that. But other than that, the only thing
- 22:16Speaker 1: I really wanted to talk about is, Uh, I'm loving
- 22:20Speaker 1: cooking so much right now.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I don't I hope so you do it for a living, really.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I know, but I'm really really getting into it more
- 22:28Speaker 1: and more. It's very strange. Oh that yeah, ignore that
- 22:33Speaker 1: guy behind the curtain that I apparently clicked on Jesus. Yeah.
- 22:38Speaker 1: But I'm putting together possibly a little Stevie cooking show.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I'm thinking about what. I don't know. I've got the
- 22:50Speaker 1: tripod set up. I started taking screenshots of a few
- 22:53Speaker 1: things I've been cooking, so I might do a little thing.
- 22:57Speaker 1: But I have been also taking a shot so the
- 23:00Speaker 1: food I've been cooking at school and stuff and throwing
- 23:02Speaker 1: those up there. So I'm gonna start getting into that
- 23:03Speaker 1: on Instagram. Okay, I'm going a little cooking channel, I think, okay, yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: obviously Patreon b F I t w Patreon people first
- 23:13Speaker 1: you will get.
- 23:14Speaker 2: All of that stuff. But yeah, that sounds awesome.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Idn't be fun to watch that? Like I made two
- 23:19Speaker 1: random asserts. I'm just like, I'm looking at our baking
- 23:22Speaker 1: shelf last weekend, and I'm just like, I need to
- 23:25Speaker 1: go through some of this stuff. So I grabbed like
- 23:26Speaker 1: cinnamon gram crackers, and I grabbed my multiple milk chocolate,
- 23:30Speaker 1: and I grab some marshmallow.
- 23:32Speaker 2: If Gastronauts on dropout has taught me anything, I love
- 23:35Speaker 2: watching funny people do cooking stuff. Oh, I would absolutely
- 23:38Speaker 2: love whatever you put together. I think it'll be hilarious
- 23:42Speaker 2: and also kind of cool at the same time. Yeah,
- 23:45Speaker 2: let's see what you what you come up with.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And it'll be fun. I think the first one's gonna
- 23:48Speaker 1: be trisc at pizzas, one of my specialties from a child.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Risk pizza. I mean, I'm not gonna knock it, man.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Shit, didn't do it. It's a pepperoni, all right, all right,
- 24:06Speaker 1: we should probably hit up a break though. I know
- 24:08Speaker 1: I've been gabbing.
- 24:10Speaker 2: No, that's funny, that's what we're here to do. We're
- 24:12Speaker 2: here to gab Hell yeah, all right, when we come back,
- 24:15Speaker 2: we're gonna do more gabbin right after this.
- 24:26Speaker 8: Hey, this is Grabbing Brisket Podcast. Join us every Monday,

- 24:48Speaker 9: to make some tailgate gravy, altercations with Texas Rangers, people
- 24:51Speaker 9: throwing reces peanut butter cups.

- 24:53Speaker 9: So check out grab the Brisket dot com for podcast info,
- 24:56Speaker 9: viral social media post, and so much more.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Hey man, welcome back. It's time for part two of
- 25:11Speaker 2: our chill show. Here. We were just hanging out talking
- 25:15Speaker 2: about what we've been up to last couple of weeks. Stee,
- 25:18Speaker 2: during the break, you said there was one more thing
- 25:20Speaker 2: you forgot to talk about.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I totally forgot. Every night after dinner,
- 25:25Speaker 1: we usually watch an episode or two of something before
- 25:28Speaker 1: we go back upstairs and show for the night and
- 25:29Speaker 1: like decompressing, go to bed right, And since we were
- 25:32Speaker 1: watching last one laughing the Canadian version, Trevor Kay Trevor
- 25:38Speaker 1: was on there, who was one of the actors in
- 25:41Speaker 1: Letter Kenny. And after watching that and how funny he
- 25:45Speaker 1: wasn't that, I was like, oh, yeah, we watched Letter
- 25:47Speaker 1: Kenny and then Shoorsey the Hockey thing after we convinced
- 25:51Speaker 1: freaking Native Pixie to freaking watching it. So we're watching
- 25:54Speaker 1: this Canadian like amazing Canadian dialogue show where everybody's like
- 25:59Speaker 1: straight East comedy and there's like quick as fuck and
- 26:02Speaker 1: it's like fighting in hockey and it's a little hic
- 26:04Speaker 1: town and it's great. I love it. But Letter Kenny
- 26:08Speaker 1: is so much fun and I'm so ever going through
- 26:10Speaker 1: and walking. Yeah, it's it's great. Plus with the hockey,
- 26:13Speaker 1: it's like it's just working right now, Like I'm in
- 26:15Speaker 1: all hockey mode. Can't fucking ever play again, but I'm
- 26:18Speaker 1: in all hockey mode yet the Robot legs.
- 26:20Speaker 2: That's one of those shows that I just never really
- 26:23Speaker 2: never got into, and I.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Don't know Fair's fair.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I genuinely don't know why. Like David Vino recommended it
- 26:29Speaker 2: to us way back in the day.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah, way back to me, it's like Gilmore Girls, but
- 26:34Speaker 1: Canadian and hockey and more country like it because I like.
- 26:38Speaker 2: They just need to quit, just need to get it
- 26:41Speaker 2: done and actually watch it.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, the first couple of which are a little slow.
- 26:46Speaker 1: There's some funny jokes, but I think it's like episode
- 26:48Speaker 1: four or five, it gets really kicking off.
- 26:49Speaker 2: It starts getting repped up. Yeah, it's a lot of
- 26:53Speaker 2: weird stuff they trying to introduce everybody.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's a lot of strange stuff. So cause
- 26:59Speaker 1: you know, can't.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Then Canada the home of strange stuff.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Have you seen their money.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Literally called loonies and tunes?
- 27:14Speaker 1: Come on, man, like, come on, grow up Canada.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like we need to be given case.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I am not saying I'm not in any anyways anyway
- 27:28Speaker 1: more Canada. I'm just saying they need to grow up.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I still I'm saying we have way longer.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I t W does not endorse these statements by Midnight Smoke.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Circumstances or his cooking show.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Neither does pantsls errand or Doggies Your Way. Mid Night
- 27:48Speaker 2: Smoke statements are his own and should be treated as
- 27:50Speaker 2: such in a court of.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Law, yes, and no comedy comedy.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Sorry, in a quart of comedy?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Yeah? Quart?
- 27:59Speaker 3: Okay to record?
- 28:02Speaker 1: What is a kangaroo court? I never understood that.
- 28:04Speaker 4: It's just as in, like nothing's actually being done and
- 28:09Speaker 4: no one's actually following the law. Oh like the judges either,
- 28:12Speaker 4: and yeah, they're just hopping around being menaces.
- 28:16Speaker 1: No ship like.
- 28:19Speaker 2: No anyway. Social commentary straight from the mouth and mind
- 28:27Speaker 2: of midnight smoke. Thank you for that.
- 28:37Speaker 1: You that all right?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Do you want to go next? Do you want me
- 28:39Speaker 2: to go? Yeah?
- 28:40Speaker 3: Okay, I'll go next.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Why not jump off those bridge with you?
- 28:45Speaker 3: But I've been doing a whole lot of fucking nothing.
- 28:49Speaker 1: It's been cold. Uh, it has what it has. I'm
- 28:57Speaker 1: not I'm not disagreeing with its brutal.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Or the roof of our house is taking some fucking damage.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Gotta deal with that now.
- 29:07Speaker 4: And you know, who knows what other fun things are
- 29:11Speaker 4: in store when the snow finally melts. But that's another day.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Recently we've been doing I've been doing games like like
- 29:20Speaker 4: RTS games like Donald War and stuff like that.
- 29:23Speaker 3: I love playing RTS games.
- 29:24Speaker 4: I don't know what it is about it, It's just
- 29:26Speaker 4: something about building up and then using all those resources
- 29:29Speaker 4: you built up and seeing like you accomplish whatever goal.
- 29:34Speaker 4: It was just the build up and actually accomplishing something.
- 29:37Speaker 4: I think really get that.
- 29:38Speaker 1: It's almost like building up and checking account and wasting
- 29:40Speaker 1: all your money on life.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, more social commentary. Then I was also playing
- 29:46Speaker 4: Monster Hunter, which is a game where you fight monsters.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Like there's monsters in your life, Stevie, right, more social commentary.
- 29:54Speaker 4: There are so many, so many monsters.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Yeah, no kidding.
- 30:01Speaker 1: But besides, smoke does agree with.
- 30:05Speaker 4: So aside from like the dunes grolling obviously, like I
- 30:10Speaker 4: can't imagine anyone listening or otherwise.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Hasn't been doing that a lot lately.
- 30:14Speaker 3: But we had a movie night the other night.
- 30:19Speaker 2: But we've been watching.
- 30:20Speaker 3: A lot of movies, and we get to the.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Point where we start watching the same stuff we've been watching,
- 30:25Speaker 4: mostly our favorites, but like kind of like I don't
- 30:28Speaker 4: want to watch anything new, or there's nothing new well,
- 30:31Speaker 4: or we've already kind of gone the gauntlet of certain films.
- 30:36Speaker 4: So we started switching it up and started kind of
- 30:38Speaker 4: doing like a semi game night where it's not quite
- 30:42Speaker 4: as long as our movie night, but we just play
- 30:45Speaker 4: games instead on the council that we have been there.
- 30:49Speaker 4: And the other night I set up a well an
- 30:53Speaker 4: impromptu was meant to be a prepared but that never
- 30:56Speaker 4: happened because you know me, I don't do shit. Ah,
- 31:01Speaker 4: but an impromptu attorney that involved a few of several
- 31:07Speaker 4: of us and that was fun.
- 31:09Speaker 1: That was started with.
- 31:11Speaker 2: We started with Mario Kart.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Mario Kart, we did Mario Kart replacements, and then we did.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I think we did Tetris.
- 31:25Speaker 10: First, No, yes, Tetris, Doctor Mario, misspac Man, and then
- 31:36Speaker 10: Burger Time.
- 31:40Speaker 1: But that's one was my choice. That was That was
- 31:42Speaker 1: I never seen it before.
- 31:43Speaker 4: That was the champions choice. But but yeah, it was.
- 31:47Speaker 1: It was fun.
- 31:48Speaker 4: It was a fun time. But other than that, yeah,
- 31:51Speaker 4: just kind of you know, doing my thing, not painting
- 31:54Speaker 4: those minis that people keep bugging me about. I'm pretty
- 31:58Speaker 4: sure because I left the paints out here and we
- 32:00Speaker 4: got hit with that really bad ice dorm.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I think the paint's got right now there, so I
- 32:04Speaker 1: don't know.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Yeah, they're probably not any good anymore, so I have
- 32:06Speaker 3: to go out and get new paints anyways.
- 32:07Speaker 4: So and I've been waiting for the weather to clear
- 32:10Speaker 4: up to make a trip to the local uh nerd shop, Yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 4: nerd shop that sells warhammer minis, so I know they
- 32:18Speaker 4: have the paints I need there.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Well, all right, fair enough?
- 32:23Speaker 1: Hell yeah?
- 32:24Speaker 2: Anything else?
- 32:25Speaker 1: Uh, not a whole lot else.
- 32:28Speaker 10: I mean there's like.
- 32:34Speaker 2: That's it.
- 32:35Speaker 1: He's got nothing else. I live a very it's ben winter.
- 32:41Speaker 1: He's in hibernation. He's a sasquatch. He's hibernating.
- 32:44Speaker 4: So it's kind of funny because it's like whenever you
- 32:46Speaker 4: ask somebody like, oh, how's your day, they can be like, oh,
- 32:49Speaker 4: I want you know, gone.
- 32:50Speaker 2: To work, or oh I had to go to the store.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Or you wouldn't driving around, or you had this going
- 32:55Speaker 4: on to whatever. I don't live that kind of life.
- 32:58Speaker 4: I wake up and if I don't have to go
- 33:01Speaker 4: to work, I typically don't leave the house. Like if
- 33:04Speaker 4: I don't have to, I might go out with my
- 33:06Speaker 4: property dude, chores whatever. But it's mundane shit, you know,
- 33:10Speaker 4: not anything like the right home about or anything that
- 33:13Speaker 4: like really you would talk about. But then like you
- 33:18Speaker 4: hear about people like oh, yeah, you know, I hit
- 33:20Speaker 4: a deer on my way down, like you know, the
- 33:23Speaker 4: ninety this, that and the other thing, like I'm like, ah,
- 33:25Speaker 4: I sat on my ass and played video games all day.
- 33:29Speaker 3: My work season is back up yet, Well.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Your video games can be interesting.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess they could be, but I think so.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't like talking about like.
- 33:42Speaker 4: I don't talk about video games the same way I
- 33:44Speaker 4: guess other people do. I am just like, yeah, I
- 33:45Speaker 4: play this game.
- 33:46Speaker 2: It's cool, Wet, we don't have to we can switch
- 33:49Speaker 2: over to me. I got plenty of stuff to talk about. Yeah,
- 33:53Speaker 2: it's fine, let's see video games. Last game I was
- 33:57Speaker 2: playing is when I'm still playing Ellen Wake two still.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I streamed it with Aggie and Stevie the other night.
- 34:04Speaker 1: That's pretty cool, and yeah it is.
- 34:06Speaker 2: It is much more of a detective game than the
- 34:10Speaker 2: previous one was. The previous one was more or less
- 34:13Speaker 2: like pure survival horror. You know, you got to shine
- 34:16Speaker 2: lights on the bad guys so that they their darkness
- 34:19Speaker 2: gets blown away, and then you can shoot them. Same thing.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Although these enemies seem to be slightly different. They don't
- 34:25Speaker 2: appear to be like mostly darkness. I'm not sure what's
- 34:28Speaker 2: going on with them. It's still very unclear what's happening.
- 34:31Speaker 2: It's just Alan Wake is back somehow he came out
- 34:34Speaker 2: at the lake that he was supposedly permanently imprisoned in
- 34:38Speaker 2: by the dark energy that he fought last time, and
- 34:43Speaker 2: he got in specifically. He did it specifically to save
- 34:47Speaker 2: his wife, who apparently is also like either missing or
- 34:52Speaker 2: gone now or she's doing something related to art that
- 34:55Speaker 2: is somehow causing more problems. It's it's a wild, wild story,
- 35:00Speaker 2: and and you're you're dealing with this FBI agent who
- 35:03Speaker 2: is starting to feel like her life is also fictional
- 35:06Speaker 2: because it was written down in these pages. Is it
- 35:09Speaker 2: coming true? You know? Because in this story, the one
- 35:12Speaker 2: that's written down like her daughter drowned, like when she
- 35:16Speaker 2: was talking to her on the phone driving to the
- 35:18Speaker 2: city just a few moments ago. So now she's starting
- 35:21Speaker 2: to panic. She's calling, you know, honey, pick up my husband,
- 35:25Speaker 2: who is estranged in this story. Please pick up the
- 35:27Speaker 2: phone and call me back. I need to talk to you.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Uh So she's starting to get a little panics, which
- 35:32Speaker 2: is interesting.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Is it her name in the book and everything?
- 35:35Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 35:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they literally get there. They find the first body,
- 35:40Speaker 2: and they find a page that mentions them both by
- 35:43Speaker 2: name and describes the events that were about to happen
- 35:47Speaker 2: to them, like she's literally reading the page. About her
- 35:50Speaker 2: picking up the page and reading the page is a
- 35:55Speaker 2: quantum a quantum moment, a quantum physics moment, for sure.
- 36:01Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 36:01Speaker 2: She's reading the page, reading about her reading the page.
- 36:05Speaker 2: It is a wild story to wrap your head around.
- 36:08Speaker 2: The Allen Wake series, both both the original game and
- 36:11Speaker 2: the second one so far as a complete mind fuck.
- 36:14Speaker 2: But I'm having a great time. It's it's wild. They've
- 36:17Speaker 2: mixed FMV, They've mixed FMV in like they got actual
- 36:21Speaker 2: actors to do, to do stuff.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Like that I haven't seen in a while.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the graphics have gotten so good to
- 36:31Speaker 2: the point that it's it's almost getting difficult to distinguish, honestly.
- 36:37Speaker 2: So I've been playing Allan Wake. I haven't really taken
- 36:40Speaker 2: any big steps since I streamed it with you guys
- 36:42Speaker 2: the other night Sunday, I wrote three thousand words for
- 36:46Speaker 2: the next book. That is back on the burner. We're
- 36:50Speaker 2: getting stuff done. I plan to hopefully do more tomorrow
- 36:55Speaker 2: because today was pretty much all booked up. I'm busy today.
- 37:00Speaker 2: I got shit to do.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so so that's coming along thankfully. It was the first,
- 37:07Speaker 2: first really significant writing I'd done. I've done like a
- 37:10Speaker 2: few words here and there, like added a sentence or whatever,
- 37:13Speaker 2: but it just wasn't enough for me to like sit
- 37:15Speaker 2: down and actually get gone put in the fucking work.
- 37:18Speaker 1: It happens, Dude's with it.
- 37:21Speaker 2: It's just it's just tough because you know, I have
- 37:24Speaker 2: a million things that I I'm already obligated to do,
- 37:27Speaker 2: but I also have things that I want to do
- 37:29Speaker 2: that are not the book. So I'm like, I'm trying
- 37:32Speaker 2: to juggle all of this stuff and eventually I'm gonna
- 37:35Speaker 2: drop something, and I'm I'm terrified it will be the book.
- 37:38Speaker 2: But I want to at least get book three out
- 37:40Speaker 2: before I either call it quits or move on.
- 37:42Speaker 1: To a completely new story or something fair enough enough.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I haven't decided yet, but we'll
- 37:48Speaker 2: see what happens with everything. But uh, it genuinely is
- 37:53Speaker 2: an option I have been thinking about, Like, once the
- 37:55Speaker 2: third book's out, I'm just gonna stop. Like that'll be it.
- 37:58Speaker 2: It'll be the end to my quote unquote trilogy. And
- 38:00Speaker 2: you know, I've I've done my work, I've put it
- 38:02Speaker 2: out into the world. The world didn't immediately go crazy
- 38:05Speaker 2: over it. It might eventually go crazy over heah.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I don't know, man, Look how long it took for them.
- 38:10Speaker 1: She was from like eighteen hundreds.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Well, we shall see in the meantime. Is it good
- 38:16Speaker 2: time for another brank?
- 38:17Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 38:17Speaker 1: I think that sounds good.
- 38:18Speaker 2: All right. When we come back, I'm gonna talk at
- 38:20Speaker 2: you some more. But for now, just hang on a
- 38:24Speaker 2: little bit. We'll be back for part three right after
- 38:26Speaker 2: this bound mail bagun mail bag getting them litters. What's up,
- 38:44Speaker 2: ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the mail bag. We got
- 38:47Speaker 2: some comments on Patreon. What do we got, Stevie?
- 38:51Speaker 1: We got this one from show three oh seven. Math
- 38:54Speaker 1: is our horror story. It truly is, and you have
- 38:57Speaker 1: no freaking idea. So this comic comes from Bill m
- 39:02Speaker 1: to this day. The scene in Fire what the scene
- 39:06Speaker 1: in Fire in the sky where the aliens are experimenting
- 39:10Speaker 1: on dB Sweeney Brothers bothers me. I cannot read you
- 39:15Speaker 1: do this.
- 39:15Speaker 2: The aliens have just enough human like features to make
- 39:18Speaker 2: them feel sinister.
- 39:21Speaker 1: That's the worst part I've heard.
- 39:23Speaker 2: I've heard of this scene before, and you're not the
- 39:27Speaker 2: first person to say that scene really bothers them. It's
- 39:31Speaker 2: I haven't seen it, so I legitimately can't say.
- 39:34Speaker 1: It's almost like seeing do you know if you see
- 39:36Speaker 1: something that's one hundred percent of natural, like somebody's body
- 39:39Speaker 1: who's like very contorted and or like parts of their
- 39:42Speaker 1: upside down does not seem natural like that. It's not that,
- 39:47Speaker 1: But like for me.
- 39:49Speaker 2: It's when something is just slightly unnatural.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Like the eyes are like in the center or something.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Or smile is just a bit too wide.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Oh that yeah, the wide joker smile.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Those three nostrils what I just blow your brain?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Yes, amazing, Oh my god? Really three nostrils? No, thank you?
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Steevie Sweeney? Who I think it is? Okay? No
- 40:21Speaker 2: he is not he is somebody else.
- 40:24Speaker 1: The other one.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Oh no, he is who I think it is?
- 40:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah. I was like that first picture did.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Not look like him, oh makeup?
- 40:34Speaker 2: Uh, And the second picture didn't either because he's got
- 40:36Speaker 2: to go tea. But once you shave it off, I'm like,
- 40:38Speaker 2: I recognize that guy. Yeah, that guy's been in a
- 40:41Speaker 2: ton of stuff, been a character actor's whole life.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I think, Yeah, he's been around I know that.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I just remember what do I remember him?
- 40:51Speaker 2: From I don't remember, but it must have been there
- 40:54Speaker 2: was something specific that I saw him and then I
- 40:55Speaker 2: really liked him, and I just can't think of it
- 40:57Speaker 2: off the top of my head. I'll try and come
- 40:59Speaker 2: up with it. Let's move on to our next comment.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Yeah, this comes from three to eight. We're not lost anymore.
- 41:04Speaker 1: The next one?
- 41:06Speaker 2: Do you want to read this one?
- 41:07Speaker 1: Sure?
- 41:09Speaker 2: Wait?
- 41:09Speaker 3: Wait, you do your podcast daily.
- 41:11Speaker 4: If you reached financial stability, how much do you need
- 41:15Speaker 4: for financial stability?
- 41:16Speaker 3: And is this financial stability in the room with us
- 41:19Speaker 3: right now?
- 41:21Speaker 4: And now I have to wait check notes four days
- 41:24Speaker 4: for a new episode.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Ohoe is me?
- 41:28Speaker 3: Whatever should I do in the meantime?
- 41:32Speaker 2: Okay, so I've tried to do the math on this.
- 41:35Speaker 2: It's more it's more complicated than you would think. Like
- 41:38Speaker 2: my my gut is like if we somehow reached one
- 41:42Speaker 2: hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year, we could all
- 41:45Speaker 2: just do that full time. Yeah, but but the fact
- 41:48Speaker 2: remanters you have to take taxes out number one, so
- 41:51Speaker 2: that lowers the amount that we're all getting. So it
- 41:54Speaker 2: might actually have to be higher than that to get
- 41:55Speaker 2: you too, Because the ideal thing for me is like
- 41:58Speaker 2: fifty k because what I'm out and right now is
- 42:01Speaker 2: slightly higher than that. But I would absolutely trade that.
- 42:05Speaker 1: To do this, do this children.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so I can.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Do fifty fifty. I'd be happy with fifty.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I'd be pretty good with fifty, So.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Ship I I could probably do forty five.
- 42:16Speaker 2: So, assuming the one hundred and fifty thing is a real fing,
- 42:19Speaker 2: I can live off ten. I'm not joking.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I can. I'll use very simply.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I am very frugal.
- 42:26Speaker 7: I believe that, But I also don't. You're worth than
- 42:33Speaker 7: that's yea, as generous as that would be.
- 42:39Speaker 3: No, genuinely I could live comfortably.
- 42:42Speaker 2: All be on the same level, you know what I mean.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Keep it it's equal, because that's the first thing that
- 42:48Speaker 2: fractures groups is when money and sh Let's not do
- 42:51Speaker 2: any inequality at all. So assuming one hundred and fifty
- 42:55Speaker 2: that would be divided by twelve, be slightly over, what
- 42:59Speaker 2: would it'd be slightly over? Be one hundred and twelve
- 43:04Speaker 2: hundred dollars a month?
- 43:05Speaker 1: Back to math, twelve hundred.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Dollars plus some change, twelve hundred dollars, twelve hundred and
- 43:11Speaker 2: five dollars.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I could do that something like that.
- 43:14Speaker 2: It's somewhere around that number.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Twelve time twelve retirement money.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Twelve time twelve is one forty four, so another six thousand,
- 43:22Speaker 2: so that would be divided by twelves that would be fifty.
- 43:25Speaker 2: So twelve fifty twelve fifty a month. Yeah, I could
- 43:29Speaker 2: do that twelve fifty month. Like I said at the
- 43:31Speaker 2: at the one point in the show, we're currently at
- 43:33Speaker 2: seventy five a month, so we're gonna need some growth
- 43:36Speaker 2: a little.
- 43:36Speaker 1: That's a little bit though.
- 43:38Speaker 2: If our Patreon did manage to get somehow to twelve
- 43:40Speaker 2: to fifty a month, we could probably all do.
- 43:43Speaker 1: This full time.
- 43:44Speaker 2: It would be a dream. It would be a legitimate dream.
- 43:47Speaker 1: It seems I'd open up another improv genuinely.
- 43:50Speaker 2: It genuinely seems like it genuinely seems like it's achievable.
- 43:54Speaker 1: It is. It's not impossible.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's impossible.
- 43:57Speaker 1: You have like the right investments and grants and stuff
- 44:00Speaker 1: have done properly.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I don't even know about all that. I was I
- 44:04Speaker 2: was just talking like flat figures from like a patriot. Yeah,
- 44:09Speaker 2: but I suppose we could also look into like actually
- 44:12Speaker 2: getting grants this and stuff like that. But I mean,
- 44:15Speaker 2: we'd have to be much closer to oh yeah, financial stability. Yeah,
- 44:23Speaker 2: but but like grants and stuff like that, you know,
- 44:25Speaker 2: and and who knows, maybe someday an angel investor will
- 44:28Speaker 2: come along and be like, I love your show and
- 44:30Speaker 2: I want to see you do it full time.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Why don't you sign up for that? What you said
- 44:35Speaker 1: that the Angel Investors thing, isn't it like a social.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Media It's not something you can sign up for. Like,
- 44:41Speaker 2: people have to genuinely be into you to make that
- 44:44Speaker 2: kind of offer. You generally don't reach out like, hey,
- 44:49Speaker 2: the Angel investors out there, you want to give us
- 44:51Speaker 2: a hand? You this one time? Watch it where someone
- 44:56Speaker 2: comes along and goes, huh, you guys are pretty funny.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Hell yeah, let's do it. If and I'll be just like,
- 45:00Speaker 2: holy shit, I would.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Like two studios, one physical one and where the public
- 45:06Speaker 1: could come in, you know, watch and yeah we can
- 45:08Speaker 1: literally and stuff. That's how the revenue can pay for
- 45:12Speaker 1: everything else. And then my mobile one, my mobile one
- 45:16Speaker 1: with my coffee shopping. I drive it around fun, give
- 45:21Speaker 1: coffee out.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Whatever works for you, Manue. Yeah, So that's basically the
- 45:26Speaker 2: long and the short of it. Sorry to bore you
- 45:27Speaker 2: with financial details, but it was an interesting question to
- 45:30Speaker 2: think about. Okay, show number three oh nine doesn't clean
- 45:34Speaker 2: a thing, And I'll read this one. Yeah, Stevie, this
- 45:38Speaker 2: is from eight bit Stevie laughing his ass off during
- 45:40Speaker 2: the one thing or another game made by entire week
- 45:43Speaker 2: that was the most beautiful thing ever never Honestly, like,
- 45:50Speaker 2: Stevie is the the heart and soul of the show.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Uh and he legitimately whenever anything I do makes him laugh,
- 45:57Speaker 2: it is pure joy. I love that moment when he's
- 46:00Speaker 2: just losing it over some ship, some should I found
- 46:03Speaker 2: on the internet or some should I made up.
- 46:04Speaker 1: You guys are funny as why.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Yeah, the two of us with one of us is
- 46:11Speaker 2: gonna get every time, and it is a joy every time.
- 46:15Speaker 2: You're happy to share that joy with you. We're glad
- 46:17Speaker 2: it made you. Anything we can do to help out,
- 46:20Speaker 2: and we're looking forward to playing good Dog with you.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Man, Oh my god, we got to schedule that up
- 46:25Speaker 1: this week. We're gonna we're gonna message you this week.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Yeah, message you once. But we gotta got to actually,
- 46:29Speaker 2: we gotta actually pick a time and doing it tomorrow
- 46:32Speaker 2: because he's in Germany.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Listen to this early so we can play tomorrow.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Listen to this early somehow go back in time.
- 46:39Speaker 1: You know you got the technology. You're one of those
- 46:41Speaker 1: developers and that IT stuff.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Yeah tomorrow, the I stuff and time travel are they
- 46:48Speaker 2: don't really a way. I mean, I know you might
- 46:51Speaker 2: have seen Come Fury and thought you can hack time.
- 46:54Speaker 1: You can with the moment.
- 46:56Speaker 2: That's a movie and a printer. Maybe that's some movies.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it tells you that two things documentaries or movie.
- 47:02Speaker 2: That's a movie. Movies are not documentaries. Documentaries are movies,
- 47:06Speaker 2: but movies are not.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Who again, this is that.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Logic fallacy that Stevie can never get over. Anyway, Thanks
- 47:13Speaker 2: Sate Pitt. We love you and we can't wait to
- 47:16Speaker 2: play good Dog with you. That's it for our mail bag.
- 47:19Speaker 2: We'll be right backward after this. Hey man, welcome back.
- 47:33Speaker 2: It's time for part three of our chill show. Well,
- 47:36Speaker 2: I think uh seem me and augire bone dry for
- 47:39Speaker 2: stuff and.
- 47:40Speaker 1: There's nothing else I've only I've only really.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Got one thing left that I can talk about. But
- 47:44Speaker 2: it's interesting enough that I think people will hear about it.
- 47:47Speaker 4: Inflicted Sheltered life.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we're all the same. I I work
- 47:51Speaker 2: from home, so even when I am working. I never
- 47:55Speaker 2: leave the house, so.
- 47:56Speaker 1: I don't talk to the people at my job.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Kids, no conversations, wait people as much as possible because
- 48:05Speaker 2: they ruin everything, so other people ruin everything.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry, we need to take you on like one
- 48:14Speaker 1: of those convention things that you like, We need to
- 48:16Speaker 1: take into a dangan rop convention, dang and rope Cruz.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Cuse only if Caroline, Maddie and Maren can also be there,
- 48:26Speaker 2: because I would absolutely want to.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Well, I'm not going to kidnap them, but you can't
- 48:29Speaker 1: invite them. I mean, if you want me to kidnap them,
- 48:32Speaker 1: I am your.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Kidnapping them would be completely in line.
- 48:34Speaker 1: With Okay, then you know what it is what they love.
- 48:38Speaker 2: And of course Sarah's got to come to Andrew and
- 48:43Speaker 2: if Maren stating anybody will see but plus one, I mean,
- 48:48Speaker 2: I would totally totally rock Maren's arm. I'd hang out
- 48:51Speaker 2: with her, you go, she'd be awesome dang with so anyway, regardless, Yeah,
- 48:59Speaker 2: Danga Cruz, fuck it, let's do it.
- 49:01Speaker 1: So uh, I got I just see this like I
- 49:05Speaker 1: get it all planning bunked like everybody like does this
- 49:08Speaker 1: cost cool? It's all done.
- 49:09Speaker 2: It just the six six of us doesn't always say
- 49:12Speaker 2: like everybody else on this is just like a geriatric
- 49:17Speaker 2: person who loves cruises, no idea. What the six of
- 49:21Speaker 2: us are throwing up banners and ship, Welcome to the
- 49:24Speaker 2: dang rope a cruise.
- 49:26Speaker 1: We have a flaves like lanyards and ship.
- 49:28Speaker 2: One of you is going to die in the night
- 49:30Speaker 2: and the rest of you need to figure out who
- 49:32Speaker 2: did it.
- 49:32Speaker 1: It's some old guy.
- 49:33Speaker 10: Here's annual shuffle board competition.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Oh dude, I rock shuffle board would be so funny.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all right, sorry, it's okay, I'm good. You
- 49:49Speaker 1: an hour are the same.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Edition? So fun Okay. So the last thing I can
- 49:57Speaker 2: think of that I've been working on. Yeah, Reluctant Butter
- 50:01Speaker 2: reached out to me because he's been having some trouble
- 50:04Speaker 2: with his Genesis Mini that I hacked for him.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Oh did it become unhacked?
- 50:09Speaker 2: I believe there is some issue with it. I'm not
- 50:12Speaker 2: sure what, but I send him some ideas as to
- 50:14Speaker 2: what could be the problem. I could also like redo
- 50:19Speaker 2: his USB stick. But in the meanwhile, I was thinking
- 50:21Speaker 2: about remember that multiplayer system that I brought with us
- 50:24Speaker 2: to Colorado.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I think awesome.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Well it only half worked, was the problem with it. Yeah,
- 50:29Speaker 2: some of the games that it should have been able
- 50:31Speaker 2: to run didn't run. Like it didn't run. It didn't
- 50:33Speaker 2: run game Cube games at full speed, and it didn't
- 50:35Speaker 2: run PS two games at full speed.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I forgot about everything.
- 50:39Speaker 2: It was a little slow, and I'm like, this system
- 50:41Speaker 2: should be able to handle this. I mean, the minipc
- 50:43Speaker 2: is literally about the size of a hockey puck. It
- 50:45Speaker 2: is small, so I would kind of get not expecting
- 50:49Speaker 2: a lot of power out of it, but it's game
- 50:51Speaker 2: wasn't much bigger. It's gotten N ninety seven in it.
- 50:54Speaker 2: That thing can crank up to three point four gigahertz
- 50:56Speaker 2: and it's got four cores in it, so it should
- 50:58Speaker 2: be able to handle PS TO in GameCube quite handily.
- 51:02Speaker 2: If anything, it might get hot, but other than that,
- 51:05Speaker 2: it should still be able to run it. So I
- 51:07Speaker 2: was like what I never did understand why that was.
- 51:10Speaker 2: And I'd worked on making my other MINIPC, the Boss
- 51:13Speaker 2: Baller one, into a multiplayer rig oh yeah, But after
- 51:19Speaker 2: hearing from Reluctant Butter about this one, I was like,
- 51:21Speaker 2: what if I could do something different with that small,
- 51:26Speaker 2: that tiny Mini PC because it was just sitting in
- 51:28Speaker 2: a bag in my desk, and I was like, I
- 51:31Speaker 2: was thinking, like what if the problem wasn't like the
- 51:35Speaker 2: process or any of it, Like what if because it
- 51:38Speaker 2: had Windows eleven on it, and because it was running
- 51:41Speaker 2: launch Box and big Box, which I had I hadn't
- 51:45Speaker 2: really thought of as being resource heavy until some of
- 51:49Speaker 2: those videos had trouble playing. Oh yeah, and I was like,
- 51:54Speaker 2: you know, maybe it's time for a different OS. So
- 51:57Speaker 2: I completely wiped the hard ride and I installed Bato
- 52:01Speaker 2: Sarah on it.
- 52:03Speaker 1: Now.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Bato Sarah is I don't think it's open source, but
- 52:06Speaker 2: it is a Linux distro that is strictly for retro gaming.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Oh literally, that is all it does. Like nothing else
- 52:15Speaker 2: is included that is not needed. It is literally just
- 52:18Speaker 2: perfectly slimmed and straight down, and it's built to be
- 52:22Speaker 2: pretty user friendly. You plug in a controller, it tells
- 52:27Speaker 2: you how to configure it if it needs configuring right,
- 52:29Speaker 2: and even after configuring like, it'll recognize it the next
- 52:33Speaker 2: time you plug it in, so it's pretty much plug
- 52:38Speaker 2: and play. Well. Yes, all the ports on the on
- 52:42Speaker 2: the Mini PC are USB as there's two USB threes
- 52:48Speaker 2: and two USB twos.
- 52:49Speaker 1: In the back.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Okay, but I have my little four player dongle thing,
- 52:55Speaker 2: although I'm thinking, based on some trouble I had with it,
- 52:57Speaker 2: maybe skip the dongle for this one, make it just
- 52:59Speaker 2: a two player box. But regardless, I hooked it up
- 53:03Speaker 2: like spent like the week, pretty much putting all of
- 53:07Speaker 2: the games on it that I would want, including game
- 53:10Speaker 2: cuban PS.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Two operating system.
- 53:14Speaker 2: It had to be. It had to be fucking Windows
- 53:16Speaker 2: being fucking Windows, and possibly also launch Box not being
- 53:21Speaker 2: the best choice for that system. I might have been
- 53:23Speaker 2: better off going to something lighter weight but totty. Yeah,
- 53:31Speaker 2: and uh and so and Batasara like the the you
- 53:34Speaker 2: can download themes, you can change it up. You can
- 53:37Speaker 2: you can you can mix and match, you can figure
- 53:39Speaker 2: it however the hell you want. I found a good
- 53:41Speaker 2: theme that I liked that wasn't terribly big, and everything
- 53:45Speaker 2: seems to run fine. Videos run great, The games have
- 53:48Speaker 2: all run great. There is one PS two game that
- 53:50Speaker 2: didn't run great, and it's the same damn hockey game,
- 53:53Speaker 2: so I think maybe that one's just not It's not.
- 53:56Speaker 2: It's not compatible with PCs X two as can hatible
- 54:00Speaker 2: as it should be. Either that or you just need
- 54:02Speaker 2: a much beefier system to be able to run it.
- 54:05Speaker 2: For whatever reason. Again, could that game itself could be
- 54:08Speaker 2: resource intensive? It is trying to display a shitload of
- 54:11Speaker 2: people in the stands and whatnot if.
- 54:13Speaker 1: You get to seat. Yeah.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Well, unfortunately, it's not a thing you can really do
- 54:18Speaker 2: in console games of that.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:21Speaker 2: So, but every other, every other game I tried on
- 54:23Speaker 2: PS two ran flawlessly. I'm like, there must be another
- 54:27Speaker 2: hockey game that will run well, or I can just
- 54:29Speaker 2: run a hockey game on GameCube. I'm pretty sure it'll
- 54:31Speaker 2: be fine. So yeah, all of that stuff. Everything ran well.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I could probably run Wei games. But I was like,
- 54:38Speaker 2: the one thing I'm gonna miss is not having those
- 54:40Speaker 2: Windows multiplayer games and they're like Duck Game and Ship
- 54:43Speaker 2: like that, And I was like, wait a minute, botto,
- 54:46Speaker 2: Sarah has these windows? Are these these folders marked Windows
- 54:50Speaker 2: and Windows installers? I'm like, wait a minute, can you
- 54:52Speaker 2: play Windows games in batos?
- 54:53Speaker 8: Sarah?
- 54:54Speaker 2: Yes you can?
- 54:55Speaker 1: Are you serious? Yes? You can?
- 54:57Speaker 2: I installed I think uh several. Unfortunately, Duck Game is
- 55:01Speaker 2: one of the ones that wouldn't work.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Fucking it.
- 55:04Speaker 2: I was pissed.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I always to du game.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Always everything but streets are Age remake Castlevania Revam bomber Man.
- 55:14Speaker 2: The Bombermans are all in consoles. I don't know of
- 55:17Speaker 2: a PC bomber Man. There might be one. There probably
- 55:20Speaker 2: is one, somebody, probably. But I put a bunch of multiplayer,
- 55:24Speaker 2: a multiplayer, and a couple of single player PC games
- 55:27Speaker 2: on there, random all even Overcooked, Overcooked, Overcooked. I did
- 55:31Speaker 2: have to turn down to seven twenty P instead of
- 55:33Speaker 2: ten ADP because there was chugging a little bit.
- 55:35Speaker 1: It happens.
- 55:36Speaker 2: It is a three D game. It's not the most
- 55:39Speaker 2: boss assuet.
- 55:40Speaker 1: We've got that on the Xbox actually, but.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Again, this isn't like a baller PC like it's it's
- 55:46Speaker 2: got a it's got a for a quad core PCU
- 55:49Speaker 2: in you know, a CPU in it. And it's got
- 55:52Speaker 2: sixteen gigs of d d R four RAM. So it's
- 55:54Speaker 2: the last generation slower RAM.
- 55:56Speaker 1: But right, but DDR four is still good for.
- 55:58Speaker 2: One hundred and fifty bucks which I paid for it.
- 56:01Speaker 2: It's an excellent PC for the price, and it plays
- 56:05Speaker 2: all these games flawlessly. So I was just like, fuck it.
- 56:09Speaker 2: If I can't get Reluctant Butters Genesis many to play properly.
- 56:12Speaker 2: I might just give him this one and call it
- 56:14Speaker 2: a day.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Works.
- 56:16Speaker 2: I mean, Sega Genesis controllers are USB, so he should
- 56:22Speaker 2: be able to plug them in and use them if
- 56:23Speaker 2: he wants to use them on Genesis, and same thing
- 56:26Speaker 2: for like the p the PlayStation. Many had PlayStation USB controllers.
- 56:31Speaker 2: You could do that if you wanted to have the
- 56:33Speaker 2: actual controller and play the actual game. The games are
- 56:36Speaker 2: gorgeous too. They all got bezzels, like, you know, to
- 56:39Speaker 2: cover up the sides of the screen that would ordinarily
- 56:41Speaker 2: just be black. It's always graphics like the system that
- 56:44Speaker 2: you're playing on, like just pieces of the system. It's
- 56:47Speaker 2: very cool. I love I love Batto Sarah, and I
- 56:50Speaker 2: don't give it enough credit or turn to it as
- 56:53Speaker 2: often as I probably should. It's it's an excellent os
- 56:56Speaker 2: for retro gaming. It's fantastic check out, and it's free. Honestly.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I love all the Linux distros, man, They're fucking fun.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Linux destroys are amazing. One more into Linux, especially because
- 57:08Speaker 2: Windows just gets shittier and.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Macintosh. Yeah, I'm just gonna like no joke. I have
- 57:16Speaker 1: a Linux alternate laptop in case something happens to this computer.
- 57:20Speaker 1: For the show, and it runs everything. It runs Audacity,
- 57:23Speaker 1: it runs the Vinie Resolve like without an issue. So
- 57:26Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, well I have Linux.
- 57:29Speaker 2: All right, Well I think that's gonna be it. I
- 57:32Speaker 2: am starving for some pa some rock band as well.
