- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Whoop. So you know, the old phrase, you
- 0:32get what you expect. I'm gonna put a Twist on that.
- 0:36And say you find what? You expect, you don't have to
- 0:39keep it. Meaning, you get it.
- 0:41Yeah, you don't have to keep it but you'll definitely find it.
- 0:45And this is a very tricky subject to navigate, because
- 0:50people will argue this point with me regularly.
- 0:52And they'll say, well, it's right in front of me and say,
- 0:54yes, but how is it right in front of you?
- 0:56Why is it right in front of you? And there is a Is a real
- 1:01struggle with that because we will vacillate as human beings,
- 1:06back and forth, back and forth, back and forth between the idea
- 1:10of it's there and I see it. And this is a behavior or a
- 1:15situation that continues in my life and I don't like it and I'm
- 1:22working to fix it. But the real question is, do you
- 1:27expect it? Do you expect that?
- 1:30To be there. Do you expect that person to act
- 1:33a certain way? Do you expect someone to change
- 1:35and or do you expect them to say the same you, when you start
- 1:40really thinking about the expectations and you start to
- 1:44delineate them? All you find that there is a
- 1:48huge piece of this that comes down to the fact that you have a
- 1:53thought process behind the scenes that's constantly a
- 1:58never-ending Lee working. It's Is going on, always going
- 2:02on, always feeding the stream of Consciousness and those thoughts
- 2:07start to show up in reality over and over and over again.
- 2:11So let's, let's do this for a minute in reference to a
- 2:14situation where someone acts away you don't necessarily like
- 2:18that person really acts away that you don't like and you, you
- 2:23know, you want that to change. You really don't like it, you
- 2:26think it's annoying, you think it's frustrating, you feel
- 2:28disrespected, whatever it might be.
- 2:30Be you have an operating system behind the scenes that is trying
- 2:37to constantly protect you. When you're this is and this is
- 2:40your brain is constantly trying to protect you and it's constant
- 2:44necessity to protect you. It is going through the process
- 2:48and it is telling you handedly that there is a danger, danger,
- 2:52danger, like member that show those Lost in Space.
- 2:57Danger Will Robinson danger and the Robert robot you To say that
- 3:01all the time because it was trying to protect him.
- 3:03Well, that's similar to how what happens in your brain now, how
- 3:07can change take place, how can something shift when you expect
- 3:12the absolute opposite of it. Well, theoretically it cannot
- 3:16because you have to be the first Catalyst for it.
- 3:20You have to be the first Catalyst, you have to have the
- 3:24ability to see or to let go, at least to neutralize.
- 3:29Now you know, often we talk about You don't have to go all
- 3:31the way from having happy drive the bus or so, having anger
- 3:35drive the bus all the way to happy because it's a big driver
- 3:38shift. But you can at least get to
- 3:39neutral and have somebody driving that bus.
- 3:42That's just, you know, ambivalent about it or just
- 3:47completely neutralized. And this is where you're the
- 3:51only person that can do it. You have to come in and say,
- 3:55okay, I'm expecting this person to be a jackass.
- 3:58Or I'm expecting this person to be.
- 4:00This and you got to be honest with yourself.
- 4:04Because once, you know, you can fix it.
- 4:06So, our expectations are a true drivers in so many different
- 4:11ways because they are the most consistent thoughts, that happen
- 4:15behind the scenes, and overriding them takes work and
- 4:18effort. It's not easy, but it can be
- 4:21done, of course. But the reality is, it's running
- 4:25behind the scenes and unless and until you decide to really take
- 4:29a look at that and figure it out, you're going to have a
- 4:32struggle with it because it will I'll keep it, we'll keep at it
- 4:35and we'll keep at it. It will keep at it until you
- 4:38make a distinction and say, okay, this has to be fixed.
- 4:42I don't like this. I'm not, I'm not going to put up
- 4:44with this with myself. So how do you do that?
- 4:47Well, the very first thing is you have to say, in these
- 4:51situations. Once you identify it, you have
- 4:53to say, Okay, do I expect this person to show up this way or do
- 4:57I expect this to be a failure? Do I expect it to be a success?
- 5:02And the only reason I'm leaning more towards - right in this
- 5:05moment because this works for the positive.
- 5:07And the negative is that we're hardwired for these challenges
- 5:11to be - we we are hard-wired to keep those negative things
- 5:16coming and it's just part of how we are wired to protect
- 5:23ourselves. We look for what's wrong, end of
- 5:26story. That's what happens.
- 5:28So, we find things because Law of Attraction, says, when you
- 5:31look for something, you create it, so There you have it and
- 5:35until we make those distinctions and we shift them, we can't get
- 5:39out of it. So today I'm going to ask you to
- 5:42really look and shift and see what in the in your world.
- 5:46What in your world are you expecting?
- 5:48And instead of getting it, you know, don't expect to get it.
- 5:53You'll find it. But you don't have to keep it.
- 5:57Give it back. If it's not what you want, give
- 5:59it back and change what you're expecting.
- 6:02All right, my friends. I hope you have have a blessed
- 6:04day and I'll see you tomorrow. Bye.
