- 1:04Speaker 3: Trenholm and Jerry called well, welcome to the end of
- 1:07Speaker 3: our quote unquote broadcasting week. Here inside the Treehouse. Today,
- 1:12Speaker 3: we are starting with stupid news of Palooza. We also
- 1:15Speaker 3: will jump into revisiting the flock camera debate because there's
- 1:19Speaker 3: been some new information that has come to light that
- 1:23Speaker 3: we want to dig into. But first let's start with
- 1:26Speaker 3: one of the most terrifying headlines I have ever heard
- 1:29Speaker 3: in my life. A seventy year old mushroom picker had
- 1:33Speaker 3: his head torn off in a bear attack. This makes
- 1:39Speaker 3: me want to never go outside ever again. Not that
- 1:43Speaker 3: I've ever been tempted to go mushroom picking, but I look,
- 1:47Speaker 3: we just did that waterfall tour the other day in
- 1:51Speaker 3: the Hills Slash Mountains outside of Portland, and I wasn't
- 1:55Speaker 3: really worried about any bears because there's just way too
- 1:58Speaker 3: many people in the areas that we were. But trust me,
- 2:01Speaker 3: it was in the back of my mind because I
- 2:03Speaker 3: had seen this headlight that Trey sent earlier in the week.
- 2:08Speaker 1: You don't know where bears are.
- 2:11Speaker 2: They're sneaky, You're right, I don't. And I also know
- 2:15Speaker 2: that they're freaky fast.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, You not out run a bear.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Do not do not let their size trick you.
- 2:25Speaker 3: It's kind of it's kind of like Jerome bettis the
- 2:27Speaker 3: old running back from the Pittsburgh Steelers. That was a
- 2:30Speaker 3: big dude, but he could move. He was like a bear,
- 2:35Speaker 3: big old grizzly bear. He will run your ass down
- 2:37Speaker 3: and chew you up. And he might have actually because
- 2:39Speaker 3: he might have been hungry. But a man has died
- 2:42Speaker 3: after having his head torn off by a bear, well
- 2:47Speaker 3: picking mushrooms in a Japanese forest. I'll admit to you this.
- 2:51Speaker 3: When I hear stories about this, A I'm terrified. Be
- 2:59Speaker 3: it's sad, It's it's extremely sad. And and four, I'm
- 3:06Speaker 3: really glad this didn't happen anywhere near where I live, right,
- 3:12Speaker 3: I was surprised.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I just don't think of Japan having you know, ferocious bears.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Clearly they do.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I'm with you.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I mean, look, this is this is good old fashioned
- 3:22Speaker 3: American ignorance. I don't think about Japan like that, like
- 3:25Speaker 3: you just mentioned Trey, like if there's a bear problem,
- 3:27Speaker 3: I'm thinking. When I saw the headline, I thought Alaska, Canada,
- 3:34Speaker 3: Canada for sure, somewhere in the Northern States. I mean, look,
- 3:39Speaker 3: even Texas has its share of you know, black bears
- 3:41Speaker 3: and things like that. And I honestly I don't know
- 3:43Speaker 3: how many different species of bears there are, but like
- 3:46Speaker 3: obviously there's the main ones. There's the big grizzly, the
- 3:49Speaker 3: big brown grizzly bears, and then the which.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Are still are. It's basically brown bears, black bears.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, brown bear, black bear, that's it. Brown tend to
- 3:59Speaker 3: be a little bigger, black team to be a little
- 4:01Speaker 3: bit smaller. But there's smaller black bear species, there's larger
- 4:04Speaker 3: black bear species, same with the brown bears.
- 4:06Speaker 2: All I know is if I see a bear, I
- 4:11Speaker 2: don't know what I'm gonna.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Do, Buy it a voaka soda.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I will do that. That sounds like my best bet.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Actually, you know what surprisingly you're supposed to do with
- 4:28Speaker 1: a grizzly.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Punch it in the face.
- 4:32Speaker 1: No, uh no, you want to make yourself as big
- 4:36Speaker 1: as possible and be very loud.
- 4:39Speaker 3: This is one of those things where I had you
- 4:41Speaker 3: and I this is where you and I disagree so
- 4:44Speaker 3: so mightily, Trey, not really, but I had always heard
- 4:48Speaker 3: brown down black attack.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Now. I don't know about other brown bears, but I
- 4:55Speaker 1: know with grizzly that say, you know, because they grizzlies
- 4:59Speaker 1: typically don't want they're not trying to fight you. They're
- 5:03Speaker 1: typically like protecting their cubs or stuff like that.
- 5:08Speaker 3: It's more of like a show of force, a show
- 5:11Speaker 3: of dominance. Hints to stand on the hind legs, so
- 5:14Speaker 3: they want you to run away or do you then
- 5:18Speaker 3: like just sheepish, you don't know?
- 5:20Speaker 1: You like I said, you make yourself as big as
- 5:22Speaker 1: possible and as loud as possible, and you're not run.
- 5:26Speaker 1: If you run, you will die.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 5:30Speaker 3: So I know that with any predator, don't run, don't look,
- 5:34Speaker 3: don't act like prey.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, with a grizzly, because they will eat you alive,
- 5:39Speaker 1: literally see it.
- 5:42Speaker 3: And this is what's so difficult about that, because grizzly
- 5:44Speaker 3: bears are so big, and if I come face to
- 5:46Speaker 3: face with one and it stands up and is in
- 5:49Speaker 3: bare language saying I'm gonna f you up, it's going
- 5:52Speaker 3: to be very difficult for me as a human to
- 5:55Speaker 3: be like, oh.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, right, come at me, bro, you really want to
- 6:00Speaker 2: square up at that thing? You do not?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Your options are very limited.
- 6:06Speaker 2: They really are.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And you have to kind of play this out in
- 6:09Speaker 3: your head multiple times. You have to kind of prepare
- 6:11Speaker 3: yourself if you're going into an area where there may
- 6:14Speaker 3: be bears and think, Okay, if this happens, I need.
- 6:19Speaker 2: To do this, I need to do X to survive.
- 6:23Speaker 4: And really you really need to have a safer place
- 6:25Speaker 4: to to, you know, to pick your mushrooms. Like for instance,
- 6:29Speaker 4: mind's the bedroom and the spare the closet and the
- 6:33Speaker 4: spare bedroom.
- 6:39Speaker 3: You're a mushroom farmer on the inside, if you know,
- 6:42Speaker 3: you know fair enough. You know I had a house once.
- 6:47Speaker 3: You probably could have grown mushrooms. It was so human.
- 6:49Speaker 3: So yeah, I get that.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I just go to Kroger.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Yeah, just go to the store, man, you know, you
- 6:58Speaker 3: know where I've never been eaten by a bear, proger scags. Yeah,
- 7:06Speaker 3: I went for a deep pool there. That really is wine.
- 7:12Speaker 3: That's the one I was gonna do. There you go, Yeah,
- 7:15Speaker 3: mushroom picker has his head torn off and bear attack.
- 7:19Speaker 2: My god. Wow.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Bonus points Trey, what's the Cedar Springs store right now?
- 7:25Speaker 3: Because I know what used to be in Albertson's and
- 7:27Speaker 3: then it was I think it was a tom Thumb.
- 7:29Speaker 3: The main one on Cedar Springs in Dallas.
- 7:31Speaker 1: That's always been Kroger. You're you're thinking of the one
- 7:34Speaker 1: that was on McKinney.
- 7:37Speaker 2: That's yeah, Sorry, my brain just goes to bar uh.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah, someday they say they're going to open up either
- 7:45Speaker 1: a central market or god, I hope an h g B.
- 7:51Speaker 1: But that thing's been sitting vacant now for man probably close.
- 7:57Speaker 2: To ten years. Holy crap.
- 7:59Speaker 3: It's amazing the piece of real estate like that, and
- 8:01Speaker 3: just nothing has happened with it.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Well, so there's a story.
- 8:06Speaker 1: No no, so Albertson sold off a big chunk of
- 8:09Speaker 1: their real estate portfolio to AGB. HIB forever said they
- 8:21Speaker 1: would never open an HB in Dallas proper because they
- 8:27Speaker 1: didn't want to infringe on their central market franchise.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Okay, but.
- 8:33Speaker 1: They also really didn't want to open hb's in North
- 8:36Speaker 1: Texas well. Obviously, in the last five years they have
- 8:38Speaker 1: thrown that to the wind and they are opening up
- 8:40Speaker 1: agib's left, right and sideways. So there is hope that
- 8:45Speaker 1: maybe they'll open up an AGB there. But the other
- 8:47Speaker 1: thing is they can't decide is if they want to
- 8:49Speaker 1: build a twenty story high rise right there on top
- 8:52Speaker 1: of the grocery store or what.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Figure it out. It looks it's a big waste to
- 8:59Speaker 3: see base. I mean Jesus, it's a.
- 9:04Speaker 1: That property you're talking, it's a mind boggling I would
- 9:09Speaker 1: guess that property is somewhere in the neighborhood of fifty
- 9:11Speaker 1: million dollar property that's just been sitting there. M h.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I'm loving the chat for the the mushroom picker that
- 9:23Speaker 3: had his head torn off. I like Mackie's response here.
- 9:28Speaker 3: He says being loud in front of a grizzly bear
- 9:31Speaker 3: wouldn't be a problem because I'll definitely be screaming like
- 9:33Speaker 3: a girl if I saw a bear, and Marshall seems
- 9:38Speaker 3: to be taking the opposite approach. Instead of offering helpful
- 9:41Speaker 3: advice if staring down a bear, he wants to give
- 9:44Speaker 3: the worst advice possible by saying, just climb a tree,
- 9:49Speaker 3: You'll be fine.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Lol.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I do like I do like Diego's idea here, just
- 9:58Speaker 3: go big and loud like a Karen that I think
- 10:02Speaker 3: actually is a phenomenal idea if staring down.
- 10:05Speaker 2: A bear as to talk to go.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Full Karen and just channel that like, channel that Karen attitude,
- 10:13Speaker 3: and yeah, that bear will eventually.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Just go I'm not in the mood for this and
- 10:17Speaker 2: then just walk away. I like that.
- 10:25Speaker 1: There was one hYP there would be look at you
- 10:27Speaker 1: quizically when you ask for its manager.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yes, very much like but I am the area of manager.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I just checked my LinkedIn profile. It says I'm dumb
- 10:42Speaker 3: the head or do.
- 10:44Speaker 1: What every you know? The other thing is do what
- 10:48Speaker 1: every you know? It seems like dash cam or officer
- 10:52Speaker 1: cam video I see now you know traffic stops that
- 10:55Speaker 1: you know are going to go awry if someone goes,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I want to talk to your supervisor. Get your supervisor here.
- 11:01Speaker 1: And you know, for a long time they were kind
- 11:03Speaker 1: of okay with it. Now you can tell there's been
- 11:05Speaker 1: a switch and they're like, yeah, we don't have to
- 11:07Speaker 1: do that. They're like, oh, yeah you do. No, you
- 11:10Speaker 1: really don't, you know.
- 11:12Speaker 3: That's that's more of a polite request that we just entertained.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And we're done entertaining it now.
- 11:21Speaker 1: No.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Usually when someone's calling for backup, it's because they want
- 11:27Speaker 3: the additional hands and sometimes they want the additional camera footage.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Or the additional taser.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Also that yeah, because because you know what, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 3: what's more fun than writing one lightning.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Doubling up?
- 11:47Speaker 3: New Orleans police say a man was stabbed Monday morning,
- 11:50Speaker 3: but he didn't even.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Know it they built differently.
- 11:55Speaker 3: In Louisiana, man was stabbed multiple times and told police
- 12:02Speaker 3: he didn't even know he'd been attacked. Jesus, you go
- 12:10Speaker 3: from a bear attack where it ripped a dude's head off.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Obviously that guy knows he got attacked to a Cajun
- 12:14Speaker 3: man who's been stabbed multiple times and doesn't even know
- 12:17Speaker 3: anything happened. An initial report says the victim was near
- 12:22Speaker 3: the corner of Cyprus Acres Drive and Vespasian Boulevard in
- 12:25Speaker 3: New Orleans. The victim was walking when approached by this suspect,
- 12:29Speaker 3: who propositioned him. Man tells investigators he declined the unidentified
- 12:33Speaker 3: suspect's invitation and just kept walking. A short time later,
- 12:37Speaker 3: a bystander stopped the victim and advised him, you're bleeding, cops.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Say, aways not a This very well could be a
- 12:45Speaker 1: bear attack.
- 12:50Speaker 2: It doesn't.
- 12:51Speaker 3: It doesn't give the any sort of a physical description
- 12:55Speaker 3: of the proposition or.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Cops say.
- 12:58Speaker 3: It was not until then that the man realized he
- 13:01Speaker 3: had been assaulted. The victim then discovered he had sustained
- 13:05Speaker 3: multiple stab wounds. This is at seven thirty in the morning.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Police did not advise the victim's condition, nor what if
- 13:13Speaker 3: any other circumstances have led to him not knowing he
- 13:17Speaker 3: had been repeatedly stabbed.
- 13:19Speaker 2: We know what those circumstances are.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I will say that back in my
- 13:25Speaker 1: drinking days, there were a couple of times in New
- 13:28Speaker 1: Orleans that if I got stabbed at seven thirty in
- 13:31Speaker 1: the morning, I probably wouldn't have known it either.
- 13:36Speaker 3: There was one time in New Orleans where I was
- 13:39Speaker 3: throwing up in front of the Cafe Dumont and thinking,
- 13:42Speaker 3: if someone stabbed me right now, I'd be okay with it.
- 13:47Speaker 3: So really, when you party in New Orleans, anything's possible.
- 13:50Speaker 3: You can run the whole gamut God Lakeland Police, Florida.
- 14:02Speaker 3: A Florida Police department temporary I'm gonna do that again
- 14:07Speaker 3: because my mouth didn't work. A Florida police department temporarily
- 14:13Speaker 3: closed after a well intentioned in I can't talk.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Is it seven thirty in New Orleans? All right? Third
- 14:26Speaker 2: time to charm? Here we go.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Florida Police temporarily closed their department after a well intentioned
- 14:32Speaker 3: citizen brought a live grenade inside. Sir, we appreciate wow
- 14:41Speaker 3: the assistance on this, but can you please not bring.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Demolition into the department. Police.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, this goes. You know, if you think you find
- 14:54Speaker 1: a grenade, don't pick it up.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Cosse don't be the cartoon.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Don't don't do not cosplay Looney Tunes where you pick
- 15:07Speaker 3: up the bomb and run around with it. Do not
- 15:10Speaker 3: channel your inner Batman where you pick up the bomb
- 15:14Speaker 3: and run around Manhattan and run around the UN Security
- 15:18Speaker 3: Council with a bomb.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Especially when it's I believe the story is that they
- 15:23Speaker 1: think it's like from the Korean War era. Yeah, so
- 15:27Speaker 1: if it's that old and it's a grenade, it looks
- 15:30Speaker 1: anything like it could explode. Do what the police call them.
- 15:36Speaker 1: They'll come to you.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no need to door dash this to the police.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 3: A live Korean War era hand grenade prompted a temporary
- 15:48Speaker 3: closure of the Lakeland, Florida Police Department. Police said the
- 15:51Speaker 3: Tampa Bomb Squad safely disposed of the device.
- 16:00Speaker 1: That's it.
- 16:00Speaker 3: That's an episode of Hill Street Blues. I never saw,
- 16:06Speaker 3: but I really really want to.
- 16:10Speaker 1: That's an snl skit.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 3: A well meaning citizen arrived at the Lakeland Police Department
- 16:18Speaker 3: with an old hand grenade and officers had to shut
- 16:21Speaker 3: down the station temporarily. Lakeland Police said Sunday, around three
- 16:25Speaker 3: o'clock in the afternoon, a nice, relaxing, lazy Sunday afternoon
- 16:31Speaker 3: out of Florida Police Department. Things are quiet, things are nice.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Ah, and in comes this dude with a freaking hand grenade,
- 16:41Speaker 2: the seventy year old pineapple grenade.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah, really with the one of them, probably the most
- 16:46Speaker 3: obvious of grenades, and you're walking into the door. It's like,
- 16:48Speaker 3: oh my god. So yeah, Sunday afternoon around three o'clock
- 16:53Speaker 3: arrived at the station. Person told officers they'd been helping
- 16:56Speaker 3: clean out a family member's personal effects and found the
- 16:59Speaker 3: box with what appeared to be a live grenade inside. So, Trey,
- 17:03Speaker 3: just a quick heads up because you're starting a new
- 17:05Speaker 3: business here that's going through and helping people clean out
- 17:10Speaker 3: all sorts of you know things which include you know,
- 17:14Speaker 3: relative dead relative stuff. So it's very possible, Trey, you
- 17:18Speaker 3: may come across a Korean War era grenade. So I
- 17:23Speaker 3: want you to promise us right now that you pick
- 17:26Speaker 3: it up.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And throw it around and take video.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Yeah, and take video so we can get a really
- 17:33Speaker 3: good news story here inside the treehouse and a really
- 17:36Speaker 3: good in Memoriam episode for you.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I probably won't even have the time to
- 17:42Speaker 1: think about whether to pick it up or not. I'll
- 17:44Speaker 1: probably open up a box.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Boom, it'll fall out just long enough for you to
- 17:49Speaker 3: see it, watch the pin fall out, and for you
- 17:52Speaker 3: to say, God, damn it.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I genuinely hope that that does not happen.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got to think at this point where we're
- 18:08Speaker 1: we're getting to an age where they're not that many
- 18:11Speaker 1: of these things left, but who knows.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, especially when like in this case, because
- 18:22Speaker 3: this one was found in somebody's stuff from the Korean War,
- 18:26Speaker 3: which means they brought that home. Now in other places,
- 18:31Speaker 3: even in the even in America, you could be in
- 18:33Speaker 3: a field somewhere and you could come across some sort
- 18:36Speaker 3: of like civil war munition or French Indian Wars stuff.
- 18:43Speaker 3: And then in Europe it's even more so because you
- 18:45Speaker 3: have all the wars that have happened in Europe. It's
- 18:48Speaker 3: I mean, you'll find German potato masher grenades in places
- 18:51Speaker 3: and are and unexploded artillery shells from World War one
- 18:55Speaker 3: and two and stuff. Don't pick them up and definitely
- 19:01Speaker 3: don't be like that one guy that not only picked
- 19:03Speaker 3: it up but put it in his butt.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Of course that's where you went with it.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Look, the story stands out. I still remember that story.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I can't remember if it was earlier this year or
- 19:18Speaker 3: if it was last year.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Where it was.
- 19:22Speaker 3: A man had to have a live artillery show removed
- 19:25Speaker 3: from his rectum because he saw it and it was
- 19:29Speaker 3: just like, well.
- 19:31Speaker 2: That's got a nice shape to it, exactly, I know
- 19:34Speaker 2: where this needed to go. That's just terrifying to me.
- 19:42Speaker 1: The getting stuff something lodged in your ass or.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Sure, sure, tray.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I'm just I don't have enough energy to fight you
- 19:55Speaker 3: on this and be like yeah, the jaws of life
- 20:01Speaker 3: had to be used to free a woman from a crash.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Then she was hospitalized for a point four blood alcohol content.
- 20:12Speaker 3: I mean, if you're going to go go big.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it's impressive.
- 20:17Speaker 3: On August sixteenth, in Washington State, an Olala woman was
- 20:24Speaker 3: taken to St. Anthony Medical Center after crashing into a ditch.
- 20:28Speaker 3: According to the Kitsip County Sheriff's Office post on Facebook,
- 20:33Speaker 3: Fire and Rescue say the crash occurred around six o'clock
- 20:35Speaker 3: in the afternoon. After arriving at the scene, fire and
- 20:38Speaker 3: rescue used the jaws of life to take the roof
- 20:40Speaker 3: off the woman's car and pull her out. Upon transfer
- 20:44Speaker 3: to the hospital, the woman had her blood drawn to
- 20:45Speaker 3: determine BAC. The blood draw results showed the woman's blood
- 20:49Speaker 3: alcohol level sat at zero point four.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Jeez, well, I really want I really.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Especially on the heels of celebrating ten years of sobriety,
- 21:02Speaker 1: I have pondered this that at my peak, I wonder,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I wonder what my highest BAC was.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Ever, that's a great question. I'm trying to remember.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Did you do the Dallas County Sheriff's Office roadside sobriety
- 21:23Speaker 3: testing back in the day when we were at CBS Radio.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Did you do that that night with us? Jared, you
- 21:31Speaker 3: know what we're talking about. Say no, m hm, so
- 21:34Speaker 3: many many years ago. The Dallas County Sheriff's Office, I mean,
- 21:37Speaker 3: they do this all the time. They have to do
- 21:39Speaker 3: roadside sobriety testing for new officers and continuing training for
- 21:44Speaker 3: existing officers, right and so in order to do legitimate,
- 21:50Speaker 3: real lifestyle roadside sobriety testing training, they have to get
- 21:54Speaker 3: real people drunk in order to do it. So why
- 21:59Speaker 3: not just get the folks that are already practiced at
- 22:01Speaker 3: that part sort of. So sometimes a lot of times
- 22:06Speaker 3: it's other officers that will volunteer for it. Sometimes it's
- 22:11Speaker 3: friends and family of officers that will that they'll call
- 22:15Speaker 3: on to do it. And sometimes they just call the
- 22:18Speaker 3: radio station that know that they know is full of
- 22:20Speaker 3: drunks be like, hey, you guys want you guys want
- 22:22Speaker 3: to party, and.
- 22:23Speaker 2: We're like yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 3: So this was back when the Dallas County Sheriff's Office
- 22:27Speaker 3: had its little facility on thirty five in Dallas, like
- 22:32Speaker 3: close to downtown. I think it's now like or it
- 22:34Speaker 3: was at one point like the like a Mavericks facility,
- 22:38Speaker 3: But anyway, at one point DCSO had a little office
- 22:40Speaker 3: in there, and so all we had to do is
- 22:42Speaker 3: go from the radio station which was just up the road,
- 22:45Speaker 3: drive down. It's b yob, you bring your preferred stuff,
- 22:49Speaker 3: and then it's a very formal, regimented thing where they
- 22:55Speaker 3: have you in a room and you're just hanging out drinking,
- 22:57Speaker 3: and then at a couple of different times you get
- 23:00Speaker 3: pulled into another room to get sobriety tested. But doing
- 23:05Speaker 3: like all the exercises and things, Trey, do you remember
- 23:09Speaker 3: that night what you're what you blew.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Actually, I don't think so. I remember doing something that
- 23:15Speaker 1: was in the morning, but maybe I don't think Maybe.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I did that, Trey. That was just your Saturday.
- 23:23Speaker 1: No, there was. I mean, you're you're not wrong, but
- 23:25Speaker 1: there was one. We did some deal because one of
- 23:28Speaker 1: the officers like, I can smell the whiskey on you. You
- 23:31Speaker 1: haven't even started drinking yet.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Trey would have been the only guy to actually get
- 23:38Speaker 3: arrested at a field sobriety testing training. Yeah, you drink
- 23:44Speaker 3: before you got here. That's that's completely against the rules.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Sir.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Let's get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into
- 23:51Speaker 3: the Treehouse eight three three. COOKDFW is the phone number
- 23:55Speaker 3: to get your free roof inspection and property review scheduled
- 23:59Speaker 3: the website cookdfw dot com. I'm going to say some
- 24:03Speaker 3: scary words, Daniel, super l Nino and the effect that
- 24:12Speaker 3: is going to have on weather, especially in the North
- 24:16Speaker 3: Texas area.
- 24:18Speaker 5: You know you're right, and we just are officially in
- 24:22Speaker 5: going into the super al Nino. The reason why is
- 24:25Speaker 5: because it's warmer than a regular al Nino and it
- 24:29Speaker 5: does prelude that we will have a wetter, higher rain
- 24:34Speaker 5: percentage than a normal year, or shall we say on
- 24:37Speaker 5: al Nina. So there are some differences, speculations. Nothing is
- 24:42Speaker 5: set in stone. This is not a guarantee that we're
- 24:45Speaker 5: going to have a deluge of water for the next year.
- 24:48Speaker 5: I mean, that's just not what it means. Scientific data says, hey,
- 24:52Speaker 5: we might have a wetter than normal, we could have
- 24:54Speaker 5: more storms. It could be just a lot of rain.
- 24:57Speaker 5: We all need to go out and build arcs. I
- 24:59Speaker 5: don't know, but I mean be prepared. The moral of
- 25:03Speaker 5: the story is every day you live in North Texas,
- 25:06Speaker 5: especially in North Texas, be prepared. Know how your home
- 25:09Speaker 5: is sitting, Know how your roofs looks. Know how your
- 25:12Speaker 5: windows are working. No if your doors have holes in them, no,
- 25:15Speaker 5: I mean, just know your home, your home.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Call us out.
- 25:18Speaker 2: We want to educate you.
- 25:19Speaker 5: We will come around, walk you around, show you things
- 25:21Speaker 5: that you should know, and then we can help you
- 25:23Speaker 5: with getting them taken.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Care of and no pressure.
- 25:26Speaker 3: All education and Daniel and his fine team at Cook
- 25:29Speaker 3: DFW will take care of you the homeowner with very
- 25:32Speaker 3: very gentle hands.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I know because I've been in them. Eight three three
- 25:36Speaker 2: Cook df Doug. That sound bad, sounded bad?
- 25:38Speaker 3: Eight three three cook DFW, get that scheduled today the
- 25:41Speaker 3: website cookdfw dot com. Yeah, maybe you weren't at the
- 25:47Speaker 3: one we did. I can't even remember everyone that did it,
- 25:50Speaker 3: but it was it was a handful of us from
- 25:52Speaker 3: you know, from RMS and Live one O five three.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I know, I know Tasso and I did it. So
- 25:57Speaker 3: we we we brought our own booze in and then
- 25:59Speaker 3: we they would they had they had to play bartender
- 26:03Speaker 3: because they would weigh you. They would take your blood
- 26:06Speaker 3: pressure to make sure you're healthy enough to participate, you
- 26:08Speaker 3: didn't die to them, and then they would track how
- 26:13Speaker 3: much you would drink in what amount of time.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you actually you know a drink there is one
- 26:19Speaker 1: ounce of liquor.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I know. The sad thing is is we're going to
- 26:23Speaker 3: the bar at the Dallas County Sheriff's office.
- 26:25Speaker 2: We're like, you'd call that a poor Yah realized we.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Drink at the loon, right. I remember at one point asking,
- 26:36Speaker 3: I was like, what is that like at your drink?
- 26:38Speaker 3: I'm like, no, it's not. That's a sip. I was like,
- 26:41Speaker 3: can I at least get a double? And they're like no,
- 26:44Speaker 3: I'm like, God, you guys are no fun. So by
- 26:49Speaker 3: the end of it, uh, I think I think I
- 26:52Speaker 3: blew a point one two or a point one three,
- 26:57Speaker 3: so legal or you know, the threshold is point zero eight.
- 27:01Speaker 3: I was clearly past it. But of the ten pairs
- 27:06Speaker 3: of officers that I went around to, because you would
- 27:09Speaker 3: kind of do one after another and they would give
- 27:12Speaker 3: you the tests right in pairs. Of the ten pairs
- 27:15Speaker 3: of officers that I was tested by, nine of them
- 27:20Speaker 3: were like, nah, he's good, and the tenth was like,
- 27:23Speaker 3: we're not sure. So for me it was like, ha ha,
- 27:28Speaker 3: I got you. So where their whole experiment kind of
- 27:30Speaker 3: backfired on me? Was there a dry control group? There
- 27:37Speaker 3: were a couple of curveballs in there. Yeah, there was
- 27:39Speaker 3: someone who had not been drinking, and then there was
- 27:43Speaker 3: one other person who had not been drinking but was
- 27:47Speaker 3: on some sort of like I don't know if it
- 27:49Speaker 3: was like a mood stabilizer pill, some type of prescription,
- 27:53Speaker 3: and they said, we think she's under the influence, and
- 27:56Speaker 3: then she was like, well, I haven't been drinking, and
- 27:58Speaker 3: then they were like, well what else it was like?
- 28:00Speaker 3: So that was the additional curb all day threw at them.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Nowadays, it's I mean, this was twenty years ago.
- 28:08Speaker 3: That this happened, So by today's standards, it's more common
- 28:11Speaker 3: to say, you know, under the influence versus drunk driving,
- 28:15Speaker 3: because there's so many other influences out there that people
- 28:18Speaker 3: might have issues driving on.
- 28:23Speaker 2: That was a fun night.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Though, especially when after we were done drinking at the
- 28:28Speaker 3: Dallas County Sheriff's Office, we actually went out drinking afterwards
- 28:33Speaker 3: for the real drink.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I missed those days of George drinking. Drinking with DPD
- 28:40Speaker 1: was it was a lot of fun at one point, Yes,
- 28:45Speaker 1: it was, especially when you had a DPD cab.
- 28:53Speaker 2: We called it Duber.
- 28:57Speaker 1: That was always the best thing ever, just rolling up
- 28:59Speaker 1: to a crowded bar and everyone would freak out because
- 29:02Speaker 1: there's the cop car and then he just can get
- 29:05Speaker 1: out like hey, what's up. Oh.
- 29:08Speaker 2: It was so much fun.
- 29:09Speaker 3: I can't tell you how many times we would be
- 29:11Speaker 3: at the Blarney Stone Rip Blarney Stone on Lower Greenville
- 29:16Speaker 3: and we'd get a text be like hey you out
- 29:20Speaker 3: and be like, yeah, we're at Bret Blarneystone. Okay, I'll
- 29:22Speaker 3: be buying five and we're sitting at the bar just
- 29:24Speaker 3: hanging out doing show prep and in comes one of
- 29:26Speaker 3: our Dallas cop friends in full uniform, and everyone in
- 29:29Speaker 3: the bar just starts flipping out, like and we're like, hey, friend,
- 29:34Speaker 3: come on in.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Well there was there was one point one officer we
- 29:38Speaker 1: knew he didn't even have to be working. You could
- 29:40Speaker 1: just text him and he would arrange for somebody else
- 29:42Speaker 1: to come get you.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Not only come get you, but beforehand you could also
- 29:47Speaker 3: park in the official DPD parking spots on Orum.
- 29:52Speaker 2: God, you're right, man, I missed those days.
- 29:54Speaker 3: So after i'd get off, after i'd get off the
- 29:57Speaker 3: air on Live one of five fe like on a
- 29:59Speaker 3: Saturday night, the show would end at this point like
- 30:02Speaker 3: this was when we were on, and I think we
- 30:04Speaker 3: were off there at like ten o'clock, so we'd go
- 30:06Speaker 3: out afterwards. We had a standing invitation on Lower Greenville.
- 30:12Speaker 3: There's Orum, that little side street where Dallas Police would
- 30:15Speaker 3: congregate and that would sort of be their little base
- 30:17Speaker 3: of operations on Lower Greenville at the time, this is
- 30:19Speaker 3: early two thousands, and they just told us, yeah, just
- 30:23Speaker 3: come in and park behind us.
- 30:24Speaker 2: We're like really, They're like yeah, yeah, like okay.
- 30:29Speaker 3: So we would come down Matilda and then go through
- 30:32Speaker 3: Orum and pull up behind and they would wave us
- 30:35Speaker 3: through so we could park in between squad cars on orum.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Nice the good old days. Queue up, Edith and Archie.
- 30:52Speaker 3: All right, that's enough reminiscing. Okay, today is for those
- 30:56Speaker 3: of you listening on this day for free. Today is Thursday,
- 31:00Speaker 3: August twentieth, twenty twenty six. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays.
- 31:08Speaker 3: This is another good birthday day here inside the treos.
- 31:11Speaker 3: We've done a lot of We've got We've talked a
- 31:13Speaker 3: lot recently about the new Spider Man movie, Spider Man
- 31:18Speaker 3: movies in general, and you know the different spider.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Jerry, have you seen it yet?
- 31:23Speaker 2: I have been able to see it yet. Jesus man. Now,
- 31:27Speaker 2: now it's you're not even trying. Oh I am, I'm sorry. Well.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Andrew Garfield is forty three.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Ouch wow.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 3: He was the two Spider Man film Guy, The Amazing
- 31:43Speaker 3: Spider Man. He was also in Social Network, Hacksaw Ridge
- 31:48Speaker 3: and Tick Tick Boom. Andrew Garfield very very very fine
- 31:51Speaker 3: actor age of forty three. He was also one of
- 31:54Speaker 3: the first ones that I remember doing. He was one
- 31:57Speaker 3: of the first ones that I remember crashing one of
- 32:00Speaker 3: the comic cons. So like Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, you know,
- 32:05Speaker 3: had a big moment recently where he's standing in the
- 32:08Speaker 3: crowd and everyone thinks it's a Cause player and turns
- 32:10Speaker 3: out it's actually Ryan Reynolds dressed as Deadpool. Andrew Garfield
- 32:14Speaker 3: did that years ago as Spider Man. He's standing there
- 32:18Speaker 3: and the whole Spider Man costume and then he eventually
- 32:20Speaker 3: takes the mask off and everyone's like, oh him, so
- 32:24Speaker 3: good on him. He turns forty three today. Also still
- 32:28Speaker 3: one of the saddest moments in a Spider Man movie
- 32:33Speaker 3: where gwyn dies.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I was not prepared for that.
- 32:37Speaker 3: In that movie, Cray, did you see that one where
- 32:40Speaker 3: she dies at the end the elevator shaft. She's falling
- 32:43Speaker 3: down the elevator. It was Emma Stone who played played Gwynn.
- 32:47Speaker 3: She's falling down the elevator shaft and Andrew Garfield gets
- 32:51Speaker 3: the web around her, but it's just a tick too
- 32:54Speaker 3: late and her head hits the bottom but he just
- 32:59Speaker 3: was able to pull her up. She dies, And that's
- 33:03Speaker 3: why in the Spider Man movie where all three of
- 33:07Speaker 3: them are together, when Andrew Garfield's character, when Andrew Garfield
- 33:11Speaker 3: Spider Man saves Zendaya from the same fate That's why
- 33:15Speaker 3: it was such a big emotional thing for him and
- 33:18Speaker 3: his character in that movie.
- 33:19Speaker 2: That's good. That's good stuff.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Amy Adams is fifty two, six time six time Oscar nominee.
- 33:30Speaker 3: You couldn't give her one right known for The Arrival, which,
- 33:35Speaker 3: honest to god, I.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Still don't think I've finished that movie. I think I've tried.
- 33:39Speaker 3: I think I've started it twice, and I forget i'm
- 33:41Speaker 3: watching it. I ended up going to something else.
- 33:43Speaker 2: It's good.
- 33:44Speaker 3: I just for whatever reason, they can't finish it. American Hustled.
- 33:47Speaker 3: That was a good that's a really good movie. Enchanted
- 33:52Speaker 3: the Fighter. She was really good in that too. Amy
- 33:55Speaker 3: Adams fifty two. She was also surprised the Prep Service
- 33:58Speaker 3: didn't mention this. She was also in the Superman movies
- 34:03Speaker 3: with Henry Cadill as Lewis Lane. When they announced her
- 34:09Speaker 3: as Lois Lane when those movies, before those movies came out,
- 34:11Speaker 3: I was like, yep, that's easy. That's good casting right there.
- 34:18Speaker 3: James Marsters is sixty four. Played Spike from Buffy the
- 34:22Speaker 3: Vampire Slayer and Angel.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Obviously the TV show versions.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Joan Allen is seventy. She's a three time Oscar nominee
- 34:29Speaker 3: from The Crucible, Nixon, The Contender, and the Born movies.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Robert Plant is seventy eight, one of the defining voices
- 34:38Speaker 3: in rock history.
- 34:41Speaker 2: On the other end of that, Fred Durst is fifty six.
- 34:47Speaker 1: And still popular. That's what I don't get.
- 34:53Speaker 4: He was.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Oh, when lit Biscuit was in town, I want to
- 34:57Speaker 1: say last year. I was still working at Parliament at
- 35:02Speaker 1: the time, and I was shocked the number of people
- 35:05Speaker 1: that were going to see them, Like they had like two.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Hits, yeah, and.
- 35:13Speaker 1: That was you know, they that was a thing. And
- 35:16Speaker 1: for a while, I mean, yeah, they were big, but
- 35:20Speaker 1: I considered them basically like as close to a one
- 35:23Speaker 1: hit wonder as you could be, but still very popular.
- 35:31Speaker 3: When they first came out, I was like, oh, this
- 35:33Speaker 3: is awesome. I like this sound. And then after seeing
- 35:38Speaker 3: him on a few interviews and things, I was like,
- 35:40Speaker 3: oh my god, this guy's an incredible ahole. And so
- 35:46Speaker 3: I was really happy to see their come down because
- 35:50Speaker 3: it's like when you see someone that is that full
- 35:52Speaker 3: of themselves, I love seeing them crashing back to earth.
- 35:58Speaker 2: But I don't know if he ever has.
- 35:59Speaker 3: I mean, this guy, look, that's one of those things
- 36:01Speaker 3: where he was probably already an a hole, and then
- 36:03Speaker 3: he gets really rich and famous, and it just gets worse.
- 36:06Speaker 3: And then when he's not rich and famous anymore, he's
- 36:08Speaker 3: probably now he's just an embittered a hole.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I'm sure I want to say he's what he had.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Wasn't he a pretty popular DJ and then made it big?
- 36:18Speaker 1: I know that's kid Rock was.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Maybe, Yeah, Demi Levado's thirty four. We need to mention
- 36:28Speaker 3: diam back Darryl, he would have been sixty died back
- 36:31Speaker 3: in two thousand and four. Isaac Hayes would have been
- 36:34Speaker 3: eighty four. Is a stacked day with birthdays, and I'm
- 36:40Speaker 3: building up to the final one. Turning fifty five today.
- 36:45Speaker 3: He went from short round in Inio in Indiana Jones
- 36:48Speaker 3: and the Temple of Doom and Data in the Goonies
- 36:51Speaker 3: to winning an Oscar nearly forty years later for everything everywhere,
- 36:56Speaker 3: all at once, and now he is seemingly everything thing, everywhere,
- 37:01Speaker 3: all at once. He WHI kwan fifty five today, Such
- 37:05Speaker 3: a good movie. I still haven't seen that when I
- 37:08Speaker 3: need to see it.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Which everything everywhere all at once? Yeah, honestly I had.
- 37:15Speaker 1: First time I watched it, I did not like it.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And then I went back and watched it again and
- 37:21Speaker 1: then I loved it. But it's a lot to take in.
- 37:25Speaker 4: It really is they they The title is very apropos
- 37:29Speaker 4: it's they are stuff in, just stuff in your brain full.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Of Yeah, there are things that you're like the second
- 37:37Speaker 1: time around, go okay, I get it now, where the
- 37:40Speaker 1: first time you may not have processed at all.
- 37:45Speaker 3: It's just going through looking at the chat earlier, seeing
- 37:47Speaker 3: if we missed anything.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that's pricks talking about how young they are.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 3: I like how one of them says, because I mentioned
- 37:59Speaker 3: Skags and like, hey, do you guys remember Safeway? Hey, William,
- 38:02Speaker 3: there's a safe way. I'm not making this up. There's
- 38:04Speaker 3: a Safeway store two blocks from me right now. Not
- 38:07Speaker 3: for long, probably not for long. One other thing I
- 38:11Speaker 3: want to mention a boy, Kihui Kwan at fifty five.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Not only did he start as short round and Data,
- 38:17Speaker 3: but he had a really awesome role in the Loki series,
- 38:20Speaker 3: which is now turning into I believe he's in Avengers Doomsday.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Yes, you talk about.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Having a serious gap in your career and then all
- 38:31Speaker 3: of a sudden you're like, goddamn, I'm pretty I'm I'm
- 38:34Speaker 3: I'm on fire happy for him. Marshall, ask me you good, Dan,
- 38:42Speaker 3: I don't know. It depends, And then Diego had pointed
- 38:50Speaker 3: out the next Super Trooper's skip for the hand Grenade.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Mmkay, I still haven't seen any of those movies. I
- 38:57Speaker 1: gotta watch those.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Watch one, brilliant, watch number one, probably skip two, and
- 39:03Speaker 3: then when three hit streaming, I think you'll be good.
- 39:06Speaker 3: I mean because on like even just watch it, because
- 39:09Speaker 3: we watched the trailer for three a while back, you know,
- 39:12Speaker 3: and then we I've seen a couple uh like TV
- 39:15Speaker 3: spots for it now because I think it's in theaters.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Those guys are those guys are good.
- 39:23Speaker 3: And if you really want a deep pull on the
- 39:25Speaker 3: Broken Lizard Troop Club dread, I believe that is it
- 39:32Speaker 3: for the birthdays.
- 39:33Speaker 1: By the way, so you said something to us yesterday
- 39:39Speaker 1: about plaid skirts, and I don't know if you were
- 39:41Speaker 1: looking for our opinion on which one to buy?
- 39:43Speaker 2: What what were with? No? Oh, no context? I was
- 39:49Speaker 2: talking about that this morning.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, the hangle if I can pull that up.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Really, I think you would look a lot better in
- 39:55Speaker 4: the pleated skirt as opposed to the panel front. I
- 39:58Speaker 4: just I don't think that would flow off of your
- 40:00Speaker 4: but as well as like de pleated skirt would.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys are I think you're.
- 40:05Speaker 1: A little old for the schoolgirl look to be honest
- 40:07Speaker 1: with you, but not that you couldn't pull it off.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys are jerks. No, I'm trying to pull
- 40:18Speaker 2: the story up so you guys can see it.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Hang on a second, mm hmmmmmmmmmmm.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Hailey mentioned Brendan Fraser also having a comeback. I wouldn't
- 40:30Speaker 1: I for some reason, it's been on my TV about
- 40:34Speaker 1: things to watch school ties. Looking at Matt Damon on
- 40:41Speaker 1: that cover, you're like, holy shit, he looks young.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah, he looks like a baby.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Preppy plaid skirl Hang on, stupid pop ups go away,
- 41:00Speaker 3: all right, here we go.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Preppy plaid skirts are so back for fall.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I figured you guys would just applaud it just because
- 41:08Speaker 3: the the you know, a bunch of hot women are
- 41:12Speaker 3: going to be walking around in plaid skirts, to which
- 41:14Speaker 3: I kind of expected we'd all do it.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Yay, this is nice. Oh absolutely.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:20Speaker 3: This.
- 41:21Speaker 4: This wasn't permission for me to wear them. We were
- 41:25Speaker 4: given no context we were going to go.
- 41:28Speaker 3: I honestly thought you were going to go with, oh, yeah,
- 41:31Speaker 3: this is a great news. Instead you're like, is I
- 41:33Speaker 3: looking for like a virtual try on?
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the one on the left. I thought
- 41:38Speaker 1: it would be the cutest on you. But I didn't
- 41:42Speaker 1: know school grow out that's ever went out of style,
- 41:44Speaker 1: to be honest.
- 41:45Speaker 2: But to us, to us, no, they haven't as song as.
- 41:49Speaker 1: They're not high waisted mom jeans. I don't care anything
- 41:53Speaker 1: but those, Thank you. I bring back the lowriders with
- 41:58Speaker 1: a little bit of a thong on the side.
- 42:00Speaker 2: That's yeah. See you say that.
- 42:03Speaker 3: And then and then and then you see one and
- 42:05Speaker 3: you wish you hadn't. And case in point was just
- 42:08Speaker 3: a few days ago. We were walking down the street
- 42:11Speaker 3: and a woman was riding a bicycle in some low
- 42:16Speaker 3: rise jeans and her whale tail is sticking out over
- 42:20Speaker 3: over the over the jeans, and then I wish I
- 42:23Speaker 3: hadn't seen it because the other things sticking out were
- 42:28Speaker 3: honestly looking like Brendan Fraser in the whale.
- 42:32Speaker 1: There's always gonna be, you know, those casualties, but in general.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Collateral damage, well, we'll take it for the ultimate goal.
- 42:42Speaker 1: And is it bystanders? You know we're gonna see something
- 42:44Speaker 1: like that. But the other end of the spectrum makes
- 42:47Speaker 1: it all worthwhile.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Absolutely that is true.
- 42:52Speaker 4: So occasional rubber band wrapped around a cannabiscuits, It's exactly so.
- 42:58Speaker 3: There is good news if you walk into a star
- 43:00Speaker 3: Bucks when it starts, you know, feeling like fall. Honestly
- 43:02Speaker 3: in the summer too, because the skirts is still going
- 43:04Speaker 3: to work. If you walk into a Starbucks and see
- 43:07Speaker 3: a lovely person in a short plaid skirt, say hi, Dan,
- 43:14Speaker 3: you God damn, I really do hate you sometimes.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Because you are a PSL fan.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Mm hm I am. I do love a good pumpkin
- 43:28Speaker 2: spice Lotte. I'll admit it.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I resisted it for a good long while, but then
- 43:34Speaker 3: eventually I was like, you know what, I'm now getting
- 43:36Speaker 3: to the age where I don't care.
- 43:41Speaker 2: By the way I want. I want what I want.
- 43:44Speaker 4: What Hayley wants is for Dan being a schoolgirl outfit
- 43:48Speaker 4: doing a lip sync to hit Me Baby one more time,
- 43:51Speaker 4: and we have a number of agreeances in the chat.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Okay, I don't care how much money per month you
- 43:55Speaker 3: people pay. Is it bad that I'm thinking about it?
- 44:05Speaker 3: I was like, well, okay, how much are we talking?
- 44:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm curious about that too, because I talk about
- 44:12Speaker 1: things you can't unsee.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Look, we've seen Jerry in full cross dressing lingerie doing
- 44:20Speaker 3: the thing from Rocky Horror Picture Show.
- 44:23Speaker 2: We haven't his part of we has not.
- 44:28Speaker 1: We have.
- 44:29Speaker 4: It's online, you can you can find it if you're interested. Trey, Yeah,
- 44:33Speaker 4: I believe it.
- 44:36Speaker 2: You got to dig deep though.
- 44:37Speaker 3: I think it's on like sixty four chan. All right,
- 44:45Speaker 3: let's jump into this now, my Trey, this might be
- 44:49Speaker 3: my favorite thing you've sent me in a while. Uh.
- 44:53Speaker 3: A thirty one year old female jumped online to share
- 44:57Speaker 3: a situation with her boyfriend that stood out us. She says,
- 45:02Speaker 3: my boyfriend, thirty years old, said, the sight of my
- 45:05Speaker 3: ass makes him lose his erection.
- 45:09Speaker 2: The sight or the side sight sight? Oh no, oh no.
- 45:23Speaker 3: I love that people go online and say the dumbest things.
- 45:27Speaker 2: And should the most intimate of things.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Ah, my boyfriend said the side of my ass makes
- 45:36Speaker 3: him lose his erection.
- 45:41Speaker 1: And I'm the fact that this is even she's asking
- 45:46Speaker 1: whether she should break up with him or not is
- 45:48Speaker 1: mind boggling to me. I'm quite sure if I ever
- 45:52Speaker 1: ever told a woman that that I was involved with,
- 45:54Speaker 1: I would get punched and then left. There would be
- 45:58Speaker 1: no should I break up with him?
- 46:01Speaker 3: No, it'd be it'd be pretty instant, it'd be pretty immediate,
- 46:03Speaker 3: and ironically she would drop you on your ass. Yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 3: but no, this we're dealing with a different era of
- 46:12Speaker 3: human here. And this is where I'm surprised. This is
- 46:14Speaker 3: where it's like on that cusp. It's young, millennial, old
- 46:16Speaker 3: gen Z type of thing. So you know how like
- 46:20Speaker 3: you guys are pure gen X, right, I'm on, I'm
- 46:23Speaker 3: technically gen X, but I fall in that window of
- 46:26Speaker 3: zenial where it's like, I don't know, seventy eight to
- 46:30Speaker 3: eighty three is like this little overlap situation because I
- 46:34Speaker 3: was born in seventy nine. What I mean is, and
- 46:36Speaker 3: that's where you carry a little bit on both sides.
- 46:38Speaker 3: I don't know if gin Z and millennial have that
- 46:44Speaker 3: sort of overlap, but that's kind of what this reads
- 46:46Speaker 3: like as a thirty one year old female.
- 46:49Speaker 2: When your boyfriend.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Says the sight of your ass makes him lose his erection,
- 46:57Speaker 3: the fact that you didn't dump him immediately is shocking
- 47:00Speaker 3: to me.
- 47:01Speaker 4: You need to show it to him one more time
- 47:03Speaker 4: as you go out the door and smack it. Yes,
- 47:07Speaker 4: rap it, you clap and walk right. So then she
- 47:11Speaker 4: goes into then explaining her position. My boyfriend and I
- 47:16Speaker 4: recently had a pretty major disagreement, and I'm looking for
- 47:18Speaker 4: outside perspective because i can't tell if I'm being overly
- 47:21Speaker 4: sensitive or if this would seriously affect other people too.
- 47:27Speaker 4: At a certain point, you don't need to know what
- 47:29Speaker 4: other people think. You just need to know how something
- 47:32Speaker 4: makes you feel. If it makes you feel bad, don't
- 47:36Speaker 4: let it happen.
- 47:40Speaker 2: She continues.
- 47:41Speaker 3: My boyfriend is extremely into fitness and has always been
- 47:44Speaker 3: very open about his physical preferences. He said things like
- 47:47Speaker 3: the average non Jim rat female body is unattractive to
- 47:51Speaker 3: the point of disgusting to him, and that he's only
- 47:54Speaker 3: attracted to fit women with visible muscle definition, and that
- 47:58Speaker 3: a woman's legs and butt are will be the most
- 48:00Speaker 3: physically attractive thing to him. This is an important part
- 48:04Speaker 3: of the story here. Remember she started with my boyfriend
- 48:09Speaker 3: said the side of my ass makes him lose his erection,
- 48:11Speaker 3: and she did not immediately dump him.
- 48:16Speaker 2: This next part is really gonna throw you, she says.
- 48:19Speaker 3: He has also told me that when we first met,
- 48:22Speaker 3: he wasn't initially very physically attracted to me because because
- 48:28Speaker 3: hang on, he wasn't initially physically attracted to me, but
- 48:32Speaker 3: saw that as a good thing because it made him
- 48:35Speaker 3: focus on my personality and mind. That was dump point
- 48:44Speaker 3: number one, and your butt turning him off should have
- 48:50Speaker 3: been dump point number two.
- 48:54Speaker 1: It sounds like the boyfriend wants something, wants to be
- 48:58Speaker 1: with something that looks like a man, and maybe that's
- 49:00Speaker 1: why he spends a lot of time pumping at the gym.
- 49:04Speaker 4: My question is, is you know he's talking about how
- 49:09Speaker 4: he is unattracted, not attracted to people who aren't like
- 49:14Speaker 4: in the gym and have the musculars.
- 49:16Speaker 2: What's he doing for his physique? Oh?
- 49:18Speaker 1: It says in there he's a gym rat.
- 49:21Speaker 4: Okay, okay, because that's usually a tell right there.
- 49:27Speaker 3: Well, it is because it's it's an insecurity thing, and
- 49:32Speaker 3: some people that are the most physically fit may also
- 49:34Speaker 3: be the most insecure. Not always the case, but it
- 49:37Speaker 3: could be. I do know that, Like you know, body
- 49:40Speaker 3: dysmorphia is a thing. You typically like bodybuilder types most
- 49:45Speaker 3: critical of their physique and they can never be big
- 49:49Speaker 3: enough and they can't be cut enough or whatever.
- 49:53Speaker 2: But I just.
- 49:55Speaker 3: The biggest thing is if you are going to critique
- 49:59Speaker 3: the physical traits of your partner, you better be a
- 50:04Speaker 3: goddamn Greek god like I mean, no flaws, because even
- 50:11Speaker 3: if your partner has a flaw or two that you
- 50:14Speaker 3: may not love, trust me, you've you've got more than
- 50:18Speaker 3: your share that they are.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Also looking past. Mm hmm. One appears to be your personality, sir.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Exactly, the fact that she's looked past the fact that
- 50:30Speaker 3: you're like, you're a limp biscuit level douchebag, and is
- 50:34Speaker 3: still with you. You need to worship the ground that
- 50:36Speaker 3: that woman's ass well walks.
- 50:39Speaker 1: On and limp it sounds like the key word because
- 50:42Speaker 1: it says he, you know, can't get or maintain a
- 50:45Speaker 1: rerection for a lot of this. So again, I think
- 50:47Speaker 1: he likes dudes.
- 50:49Speaker 2: I think you're right, because yeah, that's got to be
- 50:51Speaker 2: what it is. He looks he's like.
- 50:52Speaker 3: In the story, she even mentions how he doesn't like
- 50:55Speaker 3: doing her doggy style because he looks down and doesn't
- 50:57Speaker 3: like the side of her ass, probably because it's a
- 50:59Speaker 3: her ass.
- 51:00Speaker 2: If it was his ass.
- 51:02Speaker 3: He'd be like whoo, he'd be He'd be he'd be
- 51:05Speaker 3: a LARPing rodeo.
- 51:09Speaker 2: He'd be living out his Yellowstone fantasies.
- 51:15Speaker 1: He wouldn't be able to quitter.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Well done you too, that was really a thing of beauty. Yeah,
- 51:23Speaker 2: a good job because it was fun to see you
- 51:31Speaker 2: two come together on now right there. Good job boys.
