- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simon Show on seven.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ten o R. Well, let's take some calls. Let's go
- 0:08Speaker 2: to uh, let's go to Henry in New Brunswick. Henry,
- 0:11Speaker 2: how you.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Doing, Good morning, sir. I want you to know I
- 0:15Speaker 3: am a great fan of your show and your personal opinions.
- 0:19Speaker 3: You are highly opinionated and you don't hold any punches.
- 0:25Speaker 3: I've learned a lot from you, and I'm telling you
- 0:28Speaker 3: I follow your show religiously. You give insight into what's
- 0:32Speaker 3: going on in the world that I can't get anywhere else.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Well, we want to borrow money? What is all this
- 0:37Speaker 2: flattery about.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I don't appreciate you knocking Koby.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a friend of mine. We're not We're not
- 0:46Speaker 2: knocking Ron Kooby. It's just he would drive he would
- 0:48Speaker 2: drive you crazy with the left wing opinions.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Okay he He cannot possibly be more annoying than Curtis Sliwa.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Oh no, we love we love, we love Curtis. We
- 0:59Speaker 2: love Curtis.
- 1:00Speaker 3: When the two of them get together, you're.
- 1:03Speaker 2: A little annoying.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I learned so much from that show. I was so
- 1:07Speaker 3: sorry when Ron Cooby got off the radio. It's all
- 1:10Speaker 3: I'm saying the two of them.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I know he's a good guy. You know, he was
- 1:14Speaker 2: like the audience would go crazy with his left one.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I just I just wanted to make that point. Thank
- 1:19Speaker 3: you very much for taking my car.
- 1:21Speaker 2: All right, thanks for Colin. Let's go to rich in
- 1:23Speaker 2: Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing, Hey, Thanks Mark.
- 1:26Speaker 4: You know, the big news last night was Crockett is out,
- 1:30Speaker 4: that Kane wielding Green is out, and Ben Crenshaw is
- 1:33Speaker 4: out in their primaries, and I was Ben Crenshaw was
- 1:35Speaker 4: going off the reservation as a Republican. I'm glad he
- 1:39Speaker 4: got primaried out. But you got rid of Crockett, You
- 1:42Speaker 4: got rid of that guy, Al Green or whatever his
- 1:44Speaker 4: name is. The Only problem is they want they're on
- 1:47Speaker 4: our doll for the rest of their lives with free
- 1:48Speaker 4: healthcare and everything. Because they did one term in Congress.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It's worth it just to get rid of them. We'll
- 1:54Speaker 2: pay it if they'll leave, we'll pay their healthcare. Thanks
- 1:57Speaker 2: for Carlin. Let's go to h. Richard in in Bay Shore. Richard,
- 2:01Speaker 2: how you doing, I'm doing well. Good morning.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Three politicians with zero military experience, Chuck Schumer, Kim Jefferies
- 2:10Speaker 5: and of course previous president who's name I've forgotten. Obama, Lincoln, Obama, Biden.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Lincoln served in the militia for ninety days. He defeated
- 2:23Speaker 5: the West Point trained one time Secretary of War Jefferson Davis.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So that good, good, very good point. Yeah, there are
- 2:31Speaker 2: times when Democrats get so desperate they'll actually attack somebody.
- 2:37Speaker 2: If a Republican goes to ward, they'll attack them. You
- 2:39Speaker 2: never served, you never served, you never served. They tried
- 2:41Speaker 2: this nonsense. First of all, there hasn't been a draft
- 2:46Speaker 2: in a million years. I think Bill Clinton was the first,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I believe, the first president with no military experience. It
- 2:55Speaker 2: like in our lifetime. But after a certain point, nobody
- 3:00Speaker 2: has any military experience. There was no draft, so nobody
- 3:03Speaker 2: served anymore. I mean, are people who, thank God, they serve.
- 3:06Speaker 2: But it's this tiny, tiny percentage of population. Now let's
- 3:09Speaker 2: go to Tony in White Plains. Tony, how you doing it?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, good morning, Mark. I want to congratulate Curtis Slatto
- 3:17Speaker 1: over there on the other station. He kept saying, well,
- 3:19Speaker 1: where's Curtis now? Where's he now? Well, he's on a
- 3:22Speaker 1: good station. W O R. At least now maybe people
- 3:26Speaker 1: could call up and give their opinion about the election instead,
- 3:31Speaker 1: and I'm cutting them off, and they keep playing the
- 3:32Speaker 1: Curtis that Curtis is the reason why Mondamin he got elected.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? They're the reason from day one?
- 3:40Speaker 2: The problem. The problem was in that election. I don't
- 3:43Speaker 2: know how this happened. It just there was a book
- 3:45Speaker 2: On's called The Madness of Crowds. It was the craziest
- 3:48Speaker 2: group think. They somehow got it through their head that
- 3:52Speaker 2: Andrew Cmo could get elected, which was absolutely insane. The
- 3:55Speaker 2: guy just got run out of office. He just left
- 3:58Speaker 2: office in disgrace. He had a flea Allbeny being chased
- 4:01Speaker 2: by the police. I mean it was just I guess.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And if you waited fifteen years you could run, but
- 4:08Speaker 2: two seconds later you can't run after you just left
- 4:10Speaker 2: in disgrace. It was insane. But they somehow convinced themselves
- 4:14Speaker 2: that he actually had a shot. Even the Democrats wouldn't
- 4:17Speaker 2: vote for him. Lost the primary. If it wasn't for Cuoma,
- 4:20Speaker 2: you wouldn't have Mom Donnie. He chased the Adams out
- 4:24Speaker 2: of the primary. Had Adams been in the primary, he
- 4:26Speaker 2: had a shot at beating Mom Donnie. And Curtis had
- 4:29Speaker 2: nothing to do with Cuomo losing nothing, absolutely nothing. You
- 4:33Speaker 2: can prove it mathematically. Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn.
- 4:37Speaker 6: Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mack. I'm okay. Most
- 4:41Speaker 6: people don't notice, but Barack Obama destabilized Libya. Libya seventy
- 4:50Speaker 6: years ago was at a colony of Italy, and at
- 4:54Speaker 6: one point I believe it was Kadafi that tried to
- 4:57Speaker 6: take out Ronald Reagud or George Bush, and they put
- 5:00Speaker 6: a missile in his tent and killed his kid. And
- 5:04Speaker 6: after that he was walking the straight and narrow. He
- 5:07Speaker 6: gave up his missiles and all of his really hard
- 5:11Speaker 6: military stuff and he was kind of walking the straight line.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Sure there was a lot of bladder over there. But
- 5:17Speaker 6: I saw on Italian TV when the rebels, actually the
- 5:22Speaker 6: rebels who actually turned out to ruin the country found Kadaffi.
- 5:27Speaker 6: He was hiding in her drainage and they grabbed him.
- 5:33Speaker 6: The crowd was yelling and this and that, and they
- 5:36Speaker 6: are pushing and shoving him along, and all of a
- 5:39Speaker 6: sudden you hear a bullet being fired and they put
- 5:42Speaker 6: a cap in the back of his head. But by
- 5:44Speaker 6: it to that the terrorists who were in Libya. He
- 5:49Speaker 6: kept them in line. Kadaffi kept them in line. And
- 5:52Speaker 6: this is what I'm going to say, is Vince's opinion,
- 5:56Speaker 6: set money out of this conflict. This is not w WA.
- 5:59Speaker 6: This is Vince and I know by stocking North American
- 6:03Speaker 6: ray Deon because as richeals from South Carolina will tell you,
- 6:07Speaker 6: all the guidance devices in these missiles are made by rating.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, a lot of there's a lot of defense contractors.
- 6:15Speaker 2: We're gonna have to replace all of the.
- 6:17Speaker 6: One of them is rape Raydon.
- 6:19Speaker 2: All right, Vincent, thanks for calling. We're gonna have to
- 6:21Speaker 2: replace all of this stuff. So defense contractors are going
- 6:23Speaker 2: to make a fortune. Hey when we come back. Steve Cuso,
- 6:26Speaker 2: the great New York Post columnist, Uh, now is New
- 6:30Speaker 2: York dying? Are people moving out? Or is there everybody
- 6:33Speaker 2: leaving the waiting? You hear the actual facts. We'll get
- 6:36Speaker 2: to that next on seven to ten. Wor
