Pastor Arrested in Central Coast Abuse Case | Oakland News
A California pastor has been arrested on multiple child sexual abuse charges, sparking a wider investigation across the Central Coast. Emmanuel Marchica, 51, of Hollister, was detained after authorities received allegations in July and quickly identified additional victims. A former spiritual leader in San Benito County, Marchica also owned bakeries and jiu jitsu gyms in Prunedale, Monterey, and nearby towns. Abuse claims date back to 2012, and detectives say more victims and witnesses may still be out there. Marchica is jailed on $17.5 million bail, with his next court date July 23…
