- 0:00Speaker 1: What was released on the cross and why a cross?
- 0:08Speaker 1: Why such a heinous, horrible, long, gut-wrenching, bloodthirsty death? Why
- 0:17Speaker 1: would a God who is love use an emblem of
- 0:24Speaker 1: murder and suggested suicide To produce life. Suicide? Where did
- 0:35Speaker 1: you get that from? Remember when he said, no man
- 0:40Speaker 1: takes my life. It's going to look like I was murdered,
- 0:45Speaker 1: but no man takes my life. No man was strong
- 0:49Speaker 1: enough to murder me. No man takes my life. I
- 0:53Speaker 1: lay it down. And if I lay it down, I
- 0:58Speaker 1: will pick it back up again. And you have to
- 1:05Speaker 1: know that no man took his life because if you
- 1:08Speaker 1: don't understand that no man took his life, then you're
- 1:10Speaker 1: tempted to think that some man raised his life. My
- 1:20Speaker 1: brothers and sisters, I'm delighted and excited to have this
- 1:23Speaker 1: opportunity to share the word of the Lord with you.
- 1:25Speaker 1: We're showing a series of classics, and this one in particular,
- 1:29Speaker 1: I believe, will impact your life. It is called Hidden Mysteries.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Go on to the Gulf of St. John chapter 3.
- 1:39Speaker 1: What I want you to walk away from Genesis knowing
- 1:42Speaker 1: is that the serpent now epitomizes evil, wickedness, debauchery, corruption.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It's cursed to lay upon the ground and eat dust.
- 1:56Speaker 1: The serpent above all animals is described in scriptures to
- 2:01Speaker 1: be the most heinous creature. In the world. Clearly evil.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Clearly corruptive. I grew up in West Virginia and I
- 2:11Speaker 1: used to preach up in the hills and there was
- 2:13Speaker 1: a church back up in the country. They used to
- 2:15Speaker 1: handle snakes. They used to handle snakes. They invited me
- 2:21Speaker 1: to come up here to preach and I was young
- 2:23Speaker 1: and wild. I mean buck wild. I went up in there.
- 2:29Speaker 1: My wife, she didn't want to go, you know. She
- 2:32Speaker 1: was sitting up there holding both babies. My boys were
- 2:34Speaker 1: babies then. She's holding both of them in her arms
- 2:37Speaker 1: with her coat on. And every time something felt like
- 2:42Speaker 1: it brushed across her ankle, she thought, sure, it was
- 2:44Speaker 1: a snake. And I told them I wasn't a snake handler.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I was a preacher. They said, we just want you
- 2:50Speaker 1: to preach. And I would preach anywhere. Some people thought
- 2:53Speaker 1: I was crazy to go preach. But the Lord said,
- 2:55Speaker 1: go into all the world and preach the gospel to
- 2:56Speaker 1: every living creature. They were in the world and they
- 2:58Speaker 1: were living creatures. So I went up in there. I
- 3:02Speaker 1: got to preaching and jumping and shouting. My wife told me,
- 3:04Speaker 1: she said, all right. She said, when you get real anointed,
- 3:06Speaker 1: they gonna think you ready for one of them snakes.
- 3:15Speaker 1: And I told one of the brothers, I said, if
- 3:17Speaker 1: you throw one of them snakes on me, I'm gonna
- 3:18Speaker 1: tell you something. I said, you'd be shocked how quick
- 3:21Speaker 1: I would backslide. I said, you have never seen a
- 3:25Speaker 1: joker backslide that quick in all of your life. And
- 3:30Speaker 1: I would spend my last seven seconds while I was
- 3:33Speaker 1: crawling on the ground biting through your ankles. I did.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I told him that. I said, I would die with
- 3:39Speaker 1: my teeth in your foot. So they never did do that.
- 3:45Speaker 1: We got along real well. We had great meetings. Look
- 3:50Speaker 1: at John 6 for a minute. This is right at
- 3:53Speaker 1: the end. I mean, John 3. I'm sorry. You're in
- 3:57Speaker 1: the right place. I'm wrong. And this is right at
- 4:00Speaker 1: the end of the conversation Jesus has with Nicodemus. About
- 4:02Speaker 1: verse 8, start reading.
- 4:04Speaker 2: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the
- 4:08Speaker 2: sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and
- 4:13Speaker 2: whither it goeth.
- 4:14Speaker 1: This is Jesus talking about the spirit, and he uses
- 4:16Speaker 1: an analogy to talk about the similarities between the spirit
- 4:20Speaker 1: of the wind. And he basically talks about we can
- 4:24Speaker 1: feel it, but we can't tell where it came from
- 4:27Speaker 1: or where it is going. And he's talking about the
- 4:29Speaker 1: same impact of the Holy Spirit, that it affects us
- 4:33Speaker 1: without us really understanding its destiny or its origin. Read on.
- 4:38Speaker 2: So is everyone that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus
- 4:42Speaker 2: answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
- 4:46Speaker 2: Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master
- 4:50Speaker 2: of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I
- 4:55Speaker 2: say unto thee, We speak that we do know and
- 4:59Speaker 2: testify that we have seen, and ye receive not our witness.
- 5:04Speaker 2: If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not,
- 5:08Speaker 2: How shall ye believe if I tell you of heavenly things?
- 5:12Speaker 2: And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he
- 5:16Speaker 2: that came down from heaven.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Okay, Jesus says, I'm trying to teach you heavenly things.
- 5:21Speaker 1: But he's using earthly things to explain them. What we
- 5:24Speaker 1: would call parables or a more current word would be metaphors.
- 5:32Speaker 1: He's using comparisons to call him to understand spiritual things.
- 5:35Speaker 1: He's using analogies to make him understand spiritual things. He's
- 5:39Speaker 1: using things that Nicodemus should be able to relate to,
- 5:41Speaker 1: like the wind, to teach him about things that he
- 5:44Speaker 1: can't relate to. He talks to him about being born again,
- 5:46Speaker 1: about being born of the water and being born of
- 5:48Speaker 1: the spirit. He's using things that he can relate to
- 5:51Speaker 1: to teach spiritual things. And Nicodemus is totally different. The
- 5:55Speaker 1: one thing that you will notice when Nicodemus starts talking
- 5:58Speaker 1: to him, he calls him rabbi, good master. He acknowledges
- 6:01Speaker 1: him as being a teacher. Jesus is trying to teach
- 6:04Speaker 1: him and he's using things that he can understand to
- 6:07Speaker 1: explain things that he couldn't understand. And Nicodemus is struggling
- 6:10Speaker 1: with that. And Jesus is saying, Nicodemus, you're supposed to
- 6:12Speaker 1: be smart. He said, you're supposed to have it on
- 6:15Speaker 1: the ball. You're supposed to be an intellect. You're supposed
- 6:17Speaker 1: to be educated. You don't understand what I'm saying to you.
- 6:20Speaker 1: So here we are struggling with the conversations. A conversation
- 6:25Speaker 1: against a conversation. Breaking down barriers. Word against word. Word
- 6:32Speaker 1: got me in trouble. Word gets me out. The word
- 6:38Speaker 1: of the enemy caused the fall of all humanity. And
- 6:41Speaker 1: the word of God brings light to the fallen spirit.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Are you hearing what I'm saying? That's why it's very
- 6:47Speaker 1: important that you get this word down inside of you.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So that you can counteract the statements of the enemy
- 6:53Speaker 1: that have spoken against you to destroy your integrity and
- 6:55Speaker 1: bring down who you are. Even if you don't understand
- 6:58Speaker 1: it all, you have to struggle to understand the word
- 7:00Speaker 1: of God. You might have just got saved. You might
- 7:02Speaker 1: only get 10% of what I'm teaching tonight. But get
- 7:04Speaker 1: that 10. Get that 10. Just get that 10 and
- 7:09Speaker 1: walk in that 10%. Thank God for that 10. And
- 7:11Speaker 1: tell everybody the 10% you understood. Just whip it out
- 7:15Speaker 1: on them. Just whip it out. I mean, even if
- 7:19Speaker 1: they don't understand and you leave them all confused and
- 7:22Speaker 1: their heads all wrinkled up, just shout and just going out.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Read me some more. I'm going to get to this.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Even the Son of Man, which is in heaven, and
- 7:31Speaker 2: as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even
- 7:35Speaker 2: so must the Son of Man be lifted up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Go back because I
- 7:39Speaker 1: got to talk. Maybe I got confused. Read that verse
- 7:41Speaker 1: before about ascending and descending and all that stuff. Go
- 7:44Speaker 1: back here.
- 7:46Speaker 2: And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he
- 7:49Speaker 2: that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man
- 7:52Speaker 2: which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the
- 7:56Speaker 2: serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of
- 8:00Speaker 2: Man be lifted up.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Wait a minute. Now, I didn't mind Jesus using the
- 8:05Speaker 1: wind as a metaphor, as a comparison. to teach a
- 8:10Speaker 1: spiritual concept. But now when he gets ready to teach
- 8:13Speaker 1: Nicodemus who he is and what he's going to do,
- 8:16Speaker 1: Jesus has now compared himself to the snake. But there's
- 8:23Speaker 1: a law in the book of Genesis. I should have
- 8:25Speaker 1: told you about this at first. It's called the law
- 8:26Speaker 1: of first mention. Whenever something is mentioned first time, it
- 8:29Speaker 1: generally maintains that continuity throughout the whole Bible. It's the
- 8:32Speaker 1: law of first mention. When the snake is first mentioned,
- 8:35Speaker 1: he's mentioned as something evil. When he's mentioned here, now
- 8:39Speaker 1: something good is being compared to something evil. Jesus is saying,
- 8:45Speaker 1: even as the word as means in the same way
- 8:48Speaker 1: that Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so
- 8:52Speaker 1: shall the Son of Man be lifted up. Well, when
- 8:54Speaker 1: he's talking about the Son of Man being lifted up,
- 8:56Speaker 1: he's talking about the cross. He was lifted up. Well,
- 9:02Speaker 1: most of the time when we talk about Christ being
- 9:04Speaker 1: lifted up, we talk about him as the Lamb of God.
- 9:07Speaker 1: But when Jesus teaches about it, he compares himself to
- 9:11Speaker 1: the serpent. Why would something as holy as Christ use
- 9:16Speaker 1: a comparison as something as evil as a snake? I mean,
- 9:27Speaker 1: we worship. Have you got crosses on your neck tonight?
- 9:34Speaker 1: And if your cross, especially a crucifix, which most of
- 9:38Speaker 1: us don't wear, but if you were to wear a crucifix,
- 9:41Speaker 1: if it were to be done right, you'll just soon
- 9:43Speaker 1: have a snake wrapped around your neck. I'm not trying
- 9:51Speaker 1: to get rid of your cross. I'm trying to get
- 9:53Speaker 1: you to understand your cross. I'm trying to get you
- 9:56Speaker 1: to understand that the cross becomes not a symbol of righteousness.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You're going to have to hang in there with me tonight.
- 10:08Speaker 1: That the cross becomes a symbol of evil. Even as
- 10:14Speaker 1: Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so shall
- 10:18Speaker 1: the Son of Man be lifted up. I'm not talking
- 10:21Speaker 1: about when he was on earth, but the moment he
- 10:23Speaker 1: was lifted up. He was lifted up not as a lamb.
- 10:26Speaker 1: He was lifted up as a snake. I didn't say this.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Read it again, because they think I've said it. Read
- 10:36Speaker 1: it again. Let them read it again.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he
- 10:40Speaker 2: that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man
- 10:43Speaker 2: which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the
- 10:46Speaker 2: serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of
- 10:50Speaker 2: Man be lifted up.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Keep reading, because maybe they think I'm crazy.
- 10:53Speaker 2: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
- 10:56Speaker 2: eternal life.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Now, you know that's got to be Jesus. But it's
- 11:01Speaker 1: talking about the snake. But it says, whosoever believeth on him, what?
- 11:05Speaker 2: Should not perish.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Should not perish, but what?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Have eternal life.
- 11:09Speaker 1: But have eternal life. Read one more verse.
- 11:11Speaker 2: For God so loved the world.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Oh, you remember that one, don't you?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yes, sir. That he gave his only begotten son.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Everybody got that one, didn't they? Even Slick Willie, he said, yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I remember that he gave. For God so loved the world,
- 11:27Speaker 1: come on.
- 11:27Speaker 2: That he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth
- 11:31Speaker 2: in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- 11:35Speaker 1: God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten,
- 11:37Speaker 1: this is the cross. That's where God gave his son
- 11:41Speaker 1: that whosoever believes on him should not perish but have
- 11:44Speaker 1: everlasting life. That's the cross. That is the fireside scripture
- 11:48Speaker 1: of the Christian church. John 3.16. If you don't know anything,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you got to know John 3.16. So if this is
- 11:54Speaker 1: your very first day and you've never learned anything else,
- 11:58Speaker 1: start with John 3.16. I mean, it's almost an insult.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'm not sure you can get into heaven if you
- 12:03Speaker 1: can't quote John 3.16. That may be the password that
- 12:06Speaker 1: gets you into the Holy Ghost club. Say John 3, 16.
- 12:09Speaker 1: For God so loved the world that he gave his
- 12:10Speaker 1: only begotten son. Who shall believe in him? Should I
- 12:12Speaker 1: pray to have everything? Come on, you. Come on in.
- 12:14Speaker 1: If you can't say that, you can't get in. Okay?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Still to come on The Potter's Touch. Your dependency on
- 12:24Speaker 1: people has got to die. Your need for recognition has
- 12:27Speaker 1: got to die. Your need for acceptance has got to die.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And the more it dies, the more God's going to
- 12:32Speaker 1: be glorified in your life. And the closer you get
- 12:35Speaker 1: to the hour of being glorified, the more you're going
- 12:38Speaker 1: to be crucified. You can't be glorified if you're not crucified. Oh,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm preaching this thing tonight.
- 12:47Speaker 3: It's the biggest event of its kind, and we are
- 12:50Speaker 3: going to shake the city. Together again at Megafest 2013.
- 12:56Speaker 3: The nation's top billboard artists will be in Dallas.
- 12:59Speaker 1: All in one weekend.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Tamela Mann. Joy Hill, Beverly Crawford, Full of Entertainment and Empowerment,
- 13:08Speaker 3: Wes Morgan, Micah Stantley, Fred Hammond, and the United Tennis,
- 13:13Speaker 3: Ernest Pugh, Taking It to Another Level, Mega Youth Experience Concert,
- 13:18Speaker 3: Be Right, Kiara Shear, Ty Tritt, Molly Music, McDonald's Inspiration
- 13:27Speaker 3: Celebration Gospel Tour, John P. Key, or call 1-800-BISHOP-2 today.
- 13:33Speaker 3: We do it big in Texas.
- 13:50Speaker 1: What does it mean when Christ exegetes the issue? He
- 13:54Speaker 1: starts by discussing not lambs, not peace offering, not drink offerings,
- 13:58Speaker 1: not doves. He's talking about a snake. And he says,
- 14:02Speaker 1: even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
- 14:04Speaker 1: so shall the Son of Man be lifted up, that
- 14:06Speaker 1: whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- 14:10Speaker 1: For God so loved the world. And it goes on
- 14:13Speaker 1: into this big discourse about the cross, but he starts
- 14:16Speaker 1: out talking about the snake. Now we're in the gospel
- 14:22Speaker 1: of St. John chapter 12. And I want to go
- 14:25Speaker 1: down to 28. 12 and 28.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from
- 14:39Speaker 2: heaven saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify
- 14:44Speaker 2: it again. The people therefore that stood by and heard
- 14:48Speaker 2: it said that it thundered.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Wait, I haven't changed my mind. Go back to verse
- 14:53Speaker 1: 23 because I want them to get the mood.
- 14:55Speaker 2: And Jesus answered them saying, The hour has come that
- 15:00Speaker 2: the Son of Man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I
- 15:03Speaker 2: say unto you.
- 15:04Speaker 1: He said, I'm getting ready to go into my thing now.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I'm getting ready to get the glory out of the story.
- 15:11Speaker 1: The glory out of the story. I'm about to be glorified. Now, verily, verily,
- 15:16Speaker 1: or truly, truly, or surely, surely, or certainly, certainly, or
- 15:19Speaker 1: check it out. I say unto you, come on.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It abideth alone.
- 15:29Speaker 1: He said, now I'm getting ready to unlock the mystery
- 15:31Speaker 1: and the purpose of me coming. He said, I didn't
- 15:32Speaker 1: really come to walk on water. I did that, but
- 15:34Speaker 1: that's not what I came to do. I didn't come
- 15:38Speaker 1: to heal the sick and raise the dead. I did that,
- 15:40Speaker 1: but that's not what I came to do. I didn't
- 15:43Speaker 1: come to make somebody's wedding turn out wonderful. I did that,
- 15:46Speaker 1: but that's not what I came to do. And I
- 15:47Speaker 1: didn't come to heal the woman with the issue of blood.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I didn't come so blind Bartimaeus could see a few
- 15:52Speaker 1: years and die. And I didn't come to raise Lazarus
- 15:53Speaker 1: from the dead because he's going to die in a
- 15:55Speaker 1: few years anyway. He said, I was born to die.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Except a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die,
- 16:03Speaker 1: it abides alone. You can go to the grocery store
- 16:06Speaker 1: and get you a bag of seeds right now. And
- 16:08Speaker 1: as long as you keep it on the shelf, it
- 16:10Speaker 1: won't do you any good. But when you bury it
- 16:13Speaker 1: in the ground, you begin to fulfill the purpose of
- 16:15Speaker 1: the seed. Christ said, I didn't come to be left
- 16:18Speaker 1: on the shelf. I came to die and be buried
- 16:20Speaker 1: in the ground. And when I'm buried in the ground,
- 16:22Speaker 1: then you're going to get the glory out of my story.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Are you hearing what I'm saying? Amen. So he says,
- 16:27Speaker 1: except a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die,
- 16:30Speaker 1: it abide alone. It'll just be one grain. But if
- 16:33Speaker 1: it die, it will multiply after its own kind and
- 16:36Speaker 1: produce much fruit. Read that for me.
- 16:38Speaker 2: But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He
- 16:41Speaker 2: that loveth his life shall lose it. And he that
- 16:45Speaker 2: hated his life in this world shall keep it unto
- 16:49Speaker 2: life eternal. If any man serves me.
- 16:51Speaker 1: He said, you can't be a Christian and be afraid
- 16:54Speaker 1: to die. He said, you got to understand that most
- 16:59Speaker 1: life giving experiences as a Christian will come through death experiences.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Most life giving experiences as a Christian come through death experiences.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And the more you go through death experiences, the more
- 17:13Speaker 1: you experience life experiences. If nothing in you ever dies,
- 17:18Speaker 1: nothing in you will ever live. And when you start
- 17:21Speaker 1: praying for abundant life, you're praying for abundant death. And
- 17:25Speaker 1: the more you die in one area, the more you
- 17:27Speaker 1: live in another. And that's why you feel so strange
- 17:30Speaker 1: in your life because it's the best of times and
- 17:32Speaker 1: the worst of times all at the same time. All
- 17:36Speaker 1: the time God is trying to make something live, God
- 17:38Speaker 1: is trying to make something die. And the more something dies,
- 17:40Speaker 1: the more something is going to live. And you've been
- 17:42Speaker 1: asking God to give you abundant life and feel like
- 17:44Speaker 1: everything in you is dying. Well, God is answering your prayer. Oh,
- 17:49Speaker 1: you don't hear what I'm saying to you. It's got
- 17:53Speaker 1: to die. It's got to die. Tell somebody, tell them
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's got to die. Your will, your pride, your attitude,
- 18:00Speaker 1: your disposition, everything that's hindering you from the glory has
- 18:04Speaker 1: got to die. And the more it dies, the more
- 18:06Speaker 1: you release another realm of glory that you never had before.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Your dependency on people has got to die. Your need
- 18:12Speaker 1: for recognition has got to die. Your need for acceptance
- 18:16Speaker 1: has got to die. And the more it dies, the
- 18:18Speaker 1: more God's going to be glorified in your life. And
- 18:20Speaker 1: the closer you get to the hour of being glorified,
- 18:23Speaker 1: the more you're going to be crucified. You can't be
- 18:26Speaker 1: glorified if you're not crucified. Oh, I'm preaching this thing tonight.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And it don't feel good when you're going through it.
- 18:37Speaker 1: But understand that you're going through it and not to it.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Understand that you're going through it and not to it.
- 18:45Speaker 1: That you're not going to stay on the cross. Amen.
- 18:48Speaker 1: First thing my grandmother taught me, she was a faithful
- 18:51Speaker 1: Christian and a Methodist woman. First thing she taught me
- 18:53Speaker 1: was not to walk around with no cross on my
- 18:56Speaker 1: neck with Jesus on the cross. She said, no, no.
- 18:58Speaker 1: She said, we don't do that because he is not there.
- 19:00Speaker 1: He is risen. It's important that you understand that you
- 19:04Speaker 1: don't stay on the cross. You're going to leave the cross.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You're going to arrive again undaunted. You may be on it,
- 19:09Speaker 1: but you're not going to stay on it. You're going
- 19:10Speaker 1: to go through it and not to it. Is that
- 19:13Speaker 1: sinking into anybody's head? Read on.
- 19:18Speaker 2: If any man serve me, let him follow me. And
- 19:22Speaker 2: where I am, there shall also my servant be. If
- 19:26Speaker 2: any man serve me, him will my father honor. Now
- 19:30Speaker 2: is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? Father,
- 19:35Speaker 2: save me from this hour. But for this cause came
- 19:38Speaker 2: I unto this hour.
- 19:40Speaker 1: For this cause came I. This is the real reason
- 19:43Speaker 1: I came. Jesus didn't come because he liked barns. He
- 19:50Speaker 1: didn't come so some three old men could bring him
- 19:52Speaker 1: bags of gifts. Whatever they bought to him he already owned.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Whatever you give God he's already got. He is full
- 20:02Speaker 1: and lacking nothing. He owns everything. You can add nothing
- 20:05Speaker 1: to God. He was born to die. He understood that
- 20:12Speaker 1: to go from life to abundant life, he had to
- 20:14Speaker 1: go through a death to do it. He came here
- 20:17Speaker 1: with an agenda. He wasn't just wandering around to see
- 20:23Speaker 1: what happens. When they tried to stop him from dying,
- 20:27Speaker 1: Peter tried to, he said, hey, hey, Peter, get behind me,
- 20:29Speaker 1: you devil. Don't try to stop me from getting in trouble.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I came to get in trouble. That don't sound like
- 20:40Speaker 1: most Christians today because we talk about if you really
- 20:41Speaker 1: believe God, bless God, you won't go through nothing. Just
- 20:44Speaker 1: stand on the word, bless God, and you won't have
- 20:46Speaker 1: to go through anything. Believe God's word. God don't want
- 20:48Speaker 1: you to go through nothing, brother. If you just stand
- 20:50Speaker 1: on the word, you don't have to go through no persecution, nothing.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Just stand. Just stand, bless God, rebuke the devil, and
- 20:55Speaker 1: you won't go through anything. You're not following Jesus. Jesus
- 20:59Speaker 1: went through a cross. You said you're following Jesus. If
- 21:02Speaker 1: any man be my disciple, pick up his cross. Not
- 21:06Speaker 1: his Cadillac. Pick up his cross. Oh, I done messed
- 21:23Speaker 1: you up. Read on before I make everybody mad. I
- 21:26Speaker 1: don't want to make everybody mad.
