- 0:01Everybody wants to be happier. Well, Amanda, there are five simple things
- 0:05that you can do to make yourself happier. Okay, and they're easy.
- 0:08They're really really easy. Does one of them? Just smile? Do you
- 0:13ever do that? Where you're just? If you do, I'm sorry,
- 0:15I'm sorry. That's just one thing I like to do sometimes, care to
- 0:18spoil the other four? Make yourself laugh? Have you ever done that?
- 0:23Me? No? Oh? Do you ever hear me make myself laugh?
- 0:27Yeah? I did, I didn't. I did break out laughing earlier.
- 0:31A Mana's like what? And I just I like to think of things that
- 0:34I could say that would be funny, but really weird stuff, you know,
- 0:37and I would never see the light of day because it's super weird.
- 0:40But it's only in my head. And then I'll start laughing if it gives
- 0:43you jolly's, that's all that matters. Some might say nobody finds us funny
- 0:47at all, But we think we're funny. So maybe that's what's funny is
- 0:50we're laughing at ourselves. That's what's important. What number five, Amanda,
- 0:53on the ways to make yourself happier? Remember the good times? You know,
- 0:57they literally did a study over in Liverpool. This is what they do
- 1:00over there. They found that one way to build your inner strength without seeking
- 1:03external validationists to foster positive thoughts and feelings. Okay, so you know,
- 1:08remembering the good times. People think that like nostalgia is for you know,
- 1:12unsuccessful people. No, but even let's go back to last night. Every
- 1:18time you hear a song from Shanaya, it takes you to a moment in
- 1:22your life or a place back in the day, whether it's good or bad,
- 1:25but it's it's a good feeling. Music is a fun way, funny
- 1:27way of doing that. But you know, you talking to buddies. I
- 1:30was with my buddy Miller, you know Miller, Yeah, on Saturday,
- 1:33and you know, my wife probably hates it because ninety percent of our conversation
- 1:36is just Reminiscy amazing about the good time. Yeah. I She's like,
- 1:38Okay, guys, I get it. Heard that story before. Number four,
- 1:42give up Facebook. Ways to make yourself happier. Give up Facebook.
- 1:47This was a study conducted by the Happiness Research Institute. They've got a whole
- 1:52institute for happiness and they determined that and obviously our excuse, I guess is
- 1:57always that, Oh, our job, that's part part of it. You
- 2:00gotta be on social media. But can you imagine a life without it.
- 2:02It would be hard to imagine the life without that. But I also,
- 2:06I think I've said it numerous times, I would love for all of social
- 2:10media to go away by the time my kids are in it, just because
- 2:15ugh, yeah, I don't know. Yeah, it's gonna be a whole
- 2:16different But it also brings me a lot of joy too. I guess it
- 2:20also depends on how you're using social media. For me, it's honestly like
- 2:24my kid's baby book, slash, catching up with family and stuff like that,
- 2:29and even my algorithm shows positive stuff. I don't get your political garbage.
- 2:35I don't get any of that. It's usually cute kids, mommy quotes,
- 2:38that kind of stuff. Yeah, it brings me joy. You know.
- 2:42Listen, some days I wonder if I could even get out of bed
- 2:44if it weren't for likes and comments and the such. I just got to
- 2:47get that validation. But that's out though, because some people do live their
- 2:51life that way and they just feel like, oh, their life is perfect,
- 2:54or you're comparing it. And I know we say it all the time.
- 2:59But sometimes people just put a facade on on Facebook. They sure do,
- 3:01so get rid of it if you want to be happy. Number three
- 3:04on the ways to make yourself happier, put more importance on experiences not money.
- 3:08Oh yes, we just had this conversation because everybody's already asking what do
- 3:14the kids want for Christmas presents? I'm like, no toys anything like that.
- 3:19And I just sent a text message because I just saw Disney on Ice
- 3:23is coming to the farm grow Dome in March, Like that would be a
- 3:25great gift from a grandparent to be able to take them and go do that,
- 3:29or buy us tickets for us to take the kids. That'd be yeah,
- 3:31great experience. And it doesn't happen. It doesn't make noise at the
- 3:35house when you're trying to take a nap. Yeah, we don't need a
- 3:38Mickey doll in our house. Let's just go see Mickey for at night and
- 3:40then never see him again. There you go. Number two. Amanda spoiled
- 3:44this one long ago, so you already know it. But smile more.
- 3:47It's true. Whenever you smile, it just it gets Yeah. Yeah,
- 3:52they actually the Association for Psychological Science. I thought you were going to say
- 3:57the Association for Smiles like they created an entire institute for smiles now. They
- 4:01say that if you stand up, you smile or stand up straight, it
- 4:05can have a very positive impact on your mood. It's true. Your body
- 4:09language really sort of goes hand in hand with how you're feeling, like,
- 4:12yeah, I'm slut when you manage. Just took a photo of me against
- 4:15my wishes and posted it on her story of me like slouched over in this
- 4:18chair. Yes, yeah, I mean we are listen, we're grinding your
- 4:20post Shanaia Twain at the Fargo Dome. Minimal sleep if any at all.
- 4:25So anyway, smile more, stand up straight, you'll be happier. And
- 4:29the number one way to make yourself happier Amanda happier. How do you make
- 4:32myself happier? Hampier is a foolcuts on your accomplishments and avoid comparing yourself to
- 4:38others. Yeah, it's true. It's hard to do though. Sometimes even
- 4:43when you have a good head on your shoulders and you feel like I've got
- 4:46this, I'm doing good, it's easy to think like, oh, I
- 4:48bet that I wish I had that or this, and then you go but
- 4:51are they really happy? Is that really what you want? You just gotta
- 4:56you know, yeah, village. You know, sometimes I catch myself doing
- 4:59this too. We are constantly thinking of like the future, like how you
- 5:01know, and at the same time, yeah, that's important to worry about
- 5:04the future. But if it's all you're focusing it on, it's like,
- 5:08you know, trying to improve your life and like, but then it's like,
- 5:11you gotta enjoy now. You got to find a way to enjoy whatever
- 5:13you're doing at the moment. Yeah, because I get anxious if I start
- 5:15thinking about the future. Finances, I just stupid little things. It's like
- 5:20once they're out of daycare, then financially, and then it's other things in
- 5:25sports and and it's like Nick always looks at me, He's like it it'll
- 5:29be fine, Like life will be fine. We'll figure it out as it
- 5:31comes. Let's really what happens. And then it doesn't. What doesn't I
- 5:38mean what I thought. We don't have a real positive thing here. Sorry,
- 5:42maybe I'll try standing up straight here and it give me a smile because
- 5:46right now I'm a little concerned. No, No, everything's gonna be fine.
- 5:48No, it's fine, Everything's fine. Happy Monday, guys, Amanda
- 5:53in the morning on seven. No, it's not thing we do called is
- 6:00it weird? Is it weird the things we do in private? You ever
- 6:03wonder am I the only one doing this? Am I weirdo? Or no?
- 6:06So we like to be totally open and honest about these things. So
- 6:10Amanda, kick it off, would you? Is it weird that I want
- 6:15every concert to be a matinee show? Coming out of Shania Twain last night,
- 6:20great show, super fun. But I kept thinking to myself, why
- 6:25can't we just go to brunch at eleven o'clock? I mean, it's a
- 6:29Sunday afternoon, have the show at the Fargo Doom, be at one,
- 6:32and be home tuck done by six o'clock, five o'clock. Hang on one
- 6:36second, I gotta check something. What. Yeah, I just wanted to
- 6:41confirm that you are, in fact the oldest person Oh stop who has ever
- 6:45lived? I mean, really, though, why would you go on at
- 6:48She was on at like eight thirty. I mean she wouldn't get at thirty.
- 6:54You think eight thirty is late. Eleven thirty I mean I think of
- 6:57even we fest, You're there having a good time all day long. Yes,
- 7:00there's some matt Nae shows, but the headliner sometimes isn't starting till eleven
- 7:04o'clock. Are you guys insane? Right? Try well, they only play
- 7:09an hour, an hour and a half whatever. Try being a bar band,
- 7:11Amanda. And you know, I don't like to bring this up.
- 7:14I know the fact that I do play in a band called Lost Standards.
- 7:16But you know, for years, people like my friends and family be like,
- 7:18oh, what time are you playing at the Pickle Parrot? And I
- 7:20would be like, we go on at ten and they're like, are you
- 7:24what like PM? And guess what we get done at one forty five a
- 7:30m. That's what time. That's what time I usually wake up in the
- 7:32middle of the night for the very first time. You know, And granted
- 7:35we are we're crazy because our alarm clocks go off at three thirty in the
- 7:40morning. I get it. Most people don't have that lifestyle. But ultimately,
- 7:45why can't we have a matt Nae show? Why can't these artists go
- 7:48on earlier? What they do have early service? The services to go to
- 7:55your local church that has a band. I know a lot of them do,
- 7:59yees. So there you go, that's your solution. Got it.
- 8:03I mean, listen, even Saturday, I was texting with my buddy because
- 8:05we're gonna get together. We had nothing going on. I was just cool,
- 8:07grab some drinks or whatever. And it's like he's like, oh,
- 8:09what are you doing tonight? I'm like, what do you mean tonight?
- 8:11I'm free right now. Let's go out now. And it worked out great
- 8:16because we were home by nine to thirty in bed. It was like,
- 8:18that's how you draw it up. As a thirty something plus year old,
- 8:22that's ideal. I guess I'm not that crazy. This isn't that weird.
- 8:24I've got Melissa, Michelle and Amber on Facebook saying, yes, we would
- 8:31do anything for shell like that, and you'd probably go to more shows.
- 8:33Yeah, yeah, but you know it's a young man's game. Amanda well
- 8:37Kin, Shanaia is fifty eight. She probably wanted to nap too, go
- 8:41to bed a little early. They did have to wheel her out to start
- 8:46the show, so that was an interesting entrance. We will give our full
- 8:50review of the Shanai Twains concert later this morning. But all right, all
- 8:52right, so is it weird? Confirmed weird? By the way, for
- 8:56you, is it weird that I occasionally will take what I like to call
- 9:00a bottom half shower, like you take a bath tub, No, like
- 9:07just a showers. Still a shower, still it would waist down. But
- 9:13what do you call a bottom half shower? But how do you do that?
- 9:16Whether because there's a lot I washed my hair maybe twice a week,
- 9:22so I guess it'd be a but you're getting all wet still, right,
- 9:24Yeah? I don't get. How are you well before? Why knows the
- 9:28event we have monthly? Last week? I showed up and you know,
- 9:31we were all there and there was a listener standing by and I said,
- 9:33yeah, I just took a bottom half shower and came over here, and
- 9:37she's like, what a bottom Never heard of that? Fuse? Because you're
- 9:41getting in the shower, how do you do you just put your feet in?
- 9:43I don't get. You're setting your your booty button outside of the shower.
- 9:48You know, like when you're a kid and you would play the limbo
- 9:50at skateland, you know, would you like try to get under the bar
- 9:54like kind of lean back. Yeah, yeah, you kind of got to
- 9:56lean back and uh, you know you get all that, you get all
- 9:58the stuff, because really, I won't you because a man it's easier to
- 10:01dry off. You don't you know what I mean, your hair's not gonna
- 10:03be all, especially if your hair is already done like my hair was fine.
- 10:07I just wanted to freshen up from the waist down, which which we
- 10:11can all agree that's kind of the priority. Well, we can all agree
- 10:15that you probably need your pits too, So why would you not do shoulder
- 10:18down? This is so mean your pits. That's what deodorant is for.
- 10:22By the way, I already admitted that you have a deodorant problem, so
- 10:24I would I would think that. That's to be clear. I'm not addicted
- 10:28to eating deodorant. No, but you what is it? You don't want
- 10:31something with the iodine or okay, man, I don't. Here's little education
- 10:35here. I don't use deodorant with aluminum. There we go, and you
- 10:39do, right, So I don't know. I use a spray deodorant,
- 10:43nice coconut scent, oh spray even oh my gosh. And sometimes the loom
- 10:50A those commercials got me or loomy or whatever it is. I don't know
- 10:52what that is. But I know you ought to get your affairs in order
- 10:56to use it. All ads t get a man in the morning seven.
- 11:01Well, first dates they are you know, very very it's it's they're tough,
- 11:05right, and I know it's been a minute for the two of us
- 11:07are dating lives, but you remember, right, I mean the stress of
- 11:11a first date. A lot of things can go wrong, a lot of
- 11:13things can go right. Yeah, more likely to go wrong, uncomfortable.
- 11:18I feel like they've gotten better though, for first dates, because you usually
- 11:20I feel like nowadays people are talking through social media, through a dating app,
- 11:26text message, even facetiming, talking on the phone before you actually go
- 11:31on the date. It's very rare, super lame, and nothing better than
- 11:35going in raw, you know, just knowing nothing. You might have met
- 11:39him drunk at the bar, but for the most part, you know it's
- 11:43going to be a new conversation. I have some tips, okay, dating
- 11:46tips to be successful in your dating life, like this one. Don't stalk
- 11:50after the date. That's key, Okay, So if you had a wonderful
- 11:54time, you feel like shooting your data casual text later that night or the
- 11:58next day, go for it. You just don't stalk and accidentally like their
- 12:01old Instagram photos or worse, their exes Instagram photos. Oh jeez, that's
- 12:07just so general rule of thumb. Oh my god, you gotta be so
- 12:11if you're creeping back on somebody's Instagram, you got to be so careful not
- 12:16to hit that hard. My husband was just kind of ending a relationship with
- 12:20a gal who really liked him when we got together and just kind of ending.
- 12:26Was he dating or married to this person? No, they were just
- 12:28dating. It was kind of an on again, off again relationship, and
- 12:31they were off and then he met me, and then they were really off,
- 12:35and she was really hoping they'd be on again. She liked on.
- 12:39She was a big fan of the on position. And I will never forget
- 12:46her. I mean, she must have been stalking me so hard because she
- 12:50would accidentally like post It was so embarrassing. And then, of course,
- 12:56like Instagram stories, I would post something and she'd be the first one to
- 13:01look at it, which you're not friends with me, so you have to
- 13:03like be going in to look to see what my stuff would be. It
- 13:07was so cringe. I just felt so bad for her because I'm like,
- 13:09oh God, did you know? Of course I did? Okay, how
- 13:13about this successful daters, Amanda? They also offer to pay Yeah, I
- 13:18guess that depends. I think it's great of whoever. You know, if
- 13:24somebody asked you out on a date, okay, they're willing to pay.
- 13:26I was always go Dutch, you big Dutch girl. I know because I
- 13:30know it, So I guess it makes sense. I know, we go
- 13:33Dutch, and then it's like, hey, I want to come over for
- 13:35a Dutch oven. Gross on. I can't believe I just said that.
- 13:43That's a grossest thing anybody's ever said on the show. So Amanda said it.
- 13:46But you know, don't you cause you don't ever want to have that
- 13:50feeling of got me dinner. But some women absolutely love just whining and dining
- 13:56and taking it all in. I saw this. It was like a TikToker
- 14:00something. But this woman who's on a date said, oh, I had
- 14:01a lovely time. And then the person asked if they want to split the
- 14:05bill, and she goes, oh my god, I'm so sorry. I
- 14:07thought this was a date, but it's a I didn't realize it was a
- 14:11business meeting. Here's my card and then she leaves. Kind of funny,
- 14:16but also yeah, like, you know, chill not, she's not quite
- 14:18as Dutch as you be. Yeah, right, Also, people that are
- 14:22successful daters, they put their phones away. Temp. Oh yeah, that's
- 14:26gonna be so best. I'm your first date. You've got to put that
- 14:28down right. Yeah. I mean when I was dating. The last time
- 14:31I was like actively dating would have been like twenty thirteen, so you know,
- 14:35their phones still existed, but it wasn't wasn't what it is now.
- 14:39But that is true, although you're basically lying to them, giving them a
- 14:43taste like oh yeah, I never have my phone out right now, I'm
- 14:48out with my husband and I'm like, oh you do. I can't imagine.
- 14:52People also who are successful daters, they don't drink too much, you
- 14:56know, just getting hammered. This is a classic first date move. Didn't
- 15:03you and Nick on your first date? Did you guys get after it a
- 15:05little bit? We had we had some cocktails. Yeah, yeah, if
- 15:09that's what you're driving. Yeah, didn't you guys quote get after it?
- 15:13Yeah? We went out for drinks and then we he came over for drinks.
- 15:18Did you invite him back for a Dutch o him? Noah, glass
- 15:20of red wine pike. Hmmm. Very exciting. And here you are also
- 15:26successful daters, Amanda. They don't wear things that you can't walk, eat,
- 15:31breathe or talk in Obviously you want to look good, but gotta be
- 15:35practical. Five inch stilettos. Maybe keep them in the closset, Oh my
- 15:39gosh, it's hilarious, or you know, nothing too white, you know,
- 15:43with the pasta, with this, with the spaghette. Also, you
- 15:46got to think about where you're taking them, like the first date, when
- 15:50you're eating and depending on how you eat or what it is like, maybe
- 15:54chicken wings probably not well for me. You've seen me eat wings. It's
- 15:58a special like it's truly. They should sell tickets. Did you ever watch
- 16:03me ever ever when you were on a first date take them to a China
- 16:04buffet? Uh? No, Amanda, you saved that for like two or
- 16:08three. I resisted the urge. No, that's like you got to earn
- 16:12that. I'm all but just taking it. Excuse me, I'm not just
- 16:17taking it here in China by faith from yesterday. Oh I wish you ready
- 16:21ready? That's he is piping hot today and now Amanda Stills the sea will
- 16:27see brought to you by Valley Service Mechanical. All right, Pete Davidson,
- 16:33he is out doing his comedy show and he is not allowing phones to be
- 16:37a part of it whatsoever. And maybe it is because he's filming a Netflix
- 16:41special that he is so upset about this, But he said he pays ten
- 16:45thousand dollars to lock up phones. He looked at a guy who had his
- 16:48phone and said, bleep you to the fan. The guy got escorted out.
- 16:52We're being told that in the middle of the performance. When he was
- 16:53being escorted out, he had two phones, so him and maybe his wife,
- 16:59whoever he was, they gave those phones. But then he had a
- 17:00secret phone that he brought in to record. Geez. I wonder if his
- 17:03wife was a concerned She's, honey, why do you have a second phone,
- 17:08a burner phone? Yeah, what's going on? I mean, like,
- 17:11yeah, I get so annoyed, especially adults who don't follow the rules.
- 17:15And I'm not like a big rule guy, but it's like, if
- 17:18I have to follow it, then you do too. It's great. Absolutely
- 17:23Taylor Swift. She had thirteen album's debut at number one, and once again
- 17:29number one album in America with the release of nineteen eighty nine Taylor's Version.
- 17:33It was the crazy biggest sales week for her ever. One point six million
- 17:36units, ending the historic run by Blank Win eighty two, whose album their
- 17:40new Album was number one for a whopping one week. Really, and here
- 17:44comes Taylor Swift ruining things. Yeah no she uh, whether you like or
- 17:48he or not, she's just untouchable like she or unstoppable, I mean honest,
- 17:52Travis Kelzi would say otherwise. Yeah. By the way, Travis Kelcey
- 17:56brook a record yesterday the all time leading receiver for the Chiefs in their franch
- 18:00history. He uh, I don't know. He just has a swag about
- 18:03him, and it's so fun for me to watch Taylor be giddy about it.
- 18:07You can tell that they really like each other. He's already trying to
- 18:10make plans so he can go to her Heiress tour in different parts of the
- 18:14country. Of course, he was in Germany yesterday. She did not make
- 18:17the trip, but guess who she was hanging out with. Not only all
- 18:19her girls like Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Brittany Mahomes is now a part
- 18:23of that, which means they are pretty Seriously, what does she do other
- 18:29than did she do anything? Okay, So Brittany Mahomes, I am not
- 18:32a fan like I really struggle with her, Yes, just through Twitter and
- 18:37then Patrick Mahomes brother is it Jackson. It was just it was a lot
- 18:41arguing, annoying. Yes, but after watching quarterbacks. They didn't give her
- 18:47a lot of airtime, thankfully, But she was oh gosh, I think
- 18:51it was soccer. She played soccer and she was really really good at it.
- 18:55School. Yes, and I want to say she went to college for
- 18:57it. And then she supports some college something or there's there is something that
- 19:03she has done. She doesn't. It's not just the high school sweetheart,
- 19:07sweet sweetheart for Patrick Mahomes got you, she does you more good. And
- 19:17finally they had their baby, Courtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. They had a
- 19:21little baby boy. They did name the baby boy Rocky. They're over the
- 19:23moon, They're elated, and I'm just happy for them because they struggled through
- 19:26IVF and after that didn't work, she kind of just called it quit and
- 19:32they just let it happen. Yeah, great, Great. Now do we
- 19:36know the middle name? I don't Rocky Belboa Barker, maybe Road, Rocky
- 19:44Road Barker. Yum, lots of you had some Rocky Road. Honestly,
- 19:51I mean that's kind of like an under like very underrated. I used to
- 19:55love some Rocky Road. Absolutely. I think my kids have ever tried Rocky
- 19:57Road. They have they lived trending. Now here's what you need to know.
- 20:04Well, good morning. If you have kiddos and you've got a bunch
- 20:07of those dinosaur chicken nuggets from Tyson Foods, they are recalling about thirty thousand
- 20:11pounds of chicken nuggets I guess off the weekend. The company said they're volunteerly
- 20:15pulling them. They found I guess, small pieces of metal inside of the
- 20:18patties. So it's the twenty nine ounce plastic bag shaped like dinosaurs. I
- 20:22always like food that shaped fun, Like, yeah, you like to make
- 20:27your food fun? Yes? With the kids like always, I like fun
- 20:32noodles. I get fun chicken nugget. You like an adult female? I
- 20:37do? Yeah, you got to make the food a little fun. What's
- 20:38your favorite dinosaur? The stegosaurus? I mean, am I right? Like
- 20:42as an adult, nobody asks you that stuff anymore. No nobody cares what
- 20:45your favorite dinosaurs. It's always you know, Pike, have you got that
- 20:48job? Have you done the assignment yet? You know? It's like what's
- 20:52what's okay? So answer it? I said a stegosaurus? Is that right?
- 20:55That was one of my favorites. Yeah's a good one. Land Before
- 20:57Time really got me into dinosaurs. Oh yeah, LBT, I love that.
- 21:00You say. Ducky ducky Sarah was the Trisarah tops get it? Have
- 21:06you? Have you ever tried watching that? Now I've tried to get it.
- 21:08It doesn't hold up quite like you'd like. Oh, it's so funny
- 21:11when you watch some of these movies on Disney Plus, I'm like, oh,
- 21:15kids, this is a classic, and then you go, uh,
- 21:17this is a little slow for me because this is not what I remember it
- 21:19being. You know what's interesting about Land Before Time though, is it was
- 21:22created by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Really I did not know that.
- 21:27Of all the two of the Groovyous all you need is Scorsese on the film
- 21:32and you'd have a real trifecta. But I'll tell you one dinosaur movie that
- 21:36does hold up for adults is Remember We're Back. No, We're Back,
- 21:41It's the dinosaur movie. No. No, oh my god, it's a
- 21:42good flick. Geez, have to add that one to my list. Yeah,
- 21:45to show the kids to watch with the kid really good film and do
- 21:48you make your bed every single morning? If you do, you could be
- 21:51making a thousand dollars. There's a jewelry company called The Shane Company that wants
- 21:55people to commit to making their bed daily for thirty days. Hilarious to me
- 21:59that a jewel company is. You think it'd be a bed company doing this.
- 22:02But they just want people to know that this little change can make a
- 22:04huge difference in your life. If you do sign up to win this money,
- 22:07you have to This is kind of interesting. Read a little journal about
- 22:11it, kind of sharing your journey about making your bed every day. It
- 22:15does help, It keeps my I mean, I feel like it's good for
- 22:17your brain. And I'm not one of these people that if you tell me
- 22:19you're depressed, I'm not going to go, oh, drink more water,
- 22:22you know what I mean. But there are little things that can help you
- 22:25feel better, like taking your bed so much better as soon as I get
- 22:27home, because my husband, he has chaos in the morning, trying to
- 22:30do the kid stuff all that. He's not a big bed maker, but
- 22:33as soon as I get home he likes messing the beat up exactly. Yeah,
- 22:37big he likes to jump on the bed. Three little monkeys. Well
- 22:44that's why, Well him and the kids just jumping on the bed. But
- 22:47that's one of the first things I do when I get home. I make
- 22:48the bet, even before I like try to snuggle in for a nap like
- 22:52I will be today. Really, I'm sure he appreciates it. Yes,
- 22:56probably doesn't even notice or care. I know my bed's mysterious made every night
- 23:00when I get into it. I don't know how it happens, but I
- 23:03know when I leave for work, I'm not made well. To be fair,
- 23:04my wife is still in the bed when I leave for work, So
- 23:07you don't just tuck her in, give her the old cocoon treatment, and
- 23:14we are going to be having, well some of us, maybe four weeks
- 23:18of four day work weeks. I love this story. I just want people
- 23:23to know about it. No know why you're making so much fun of me.
- 23:26So Christmas Day is on a Monday, New Year's is on a Monday.
- 23:30Then we've got a full five day work week in there, which would
- 23:33be Monday, January eighth, and then it's Martin Luther King Day on Monday.
- 23:37So if you want an entire month of four day work weeks, you
- 23:40take off January eighth. According to the experts. The experts got together.
- 23:45I mean, it really took a lot of years of research for them to
- 23:47discover you could take one single day vacation, right, yes, given the
- 23:51fact or that you have MLK day off. Yeah, we don't. I'm
- 23:55just sharing this advice with people that want to have four day work weeks.
- 24:00Wouldn't that be nice? I think so, I think because there's nothing like
- 24:03doing that after all these vacations and the holidays, and then you come back
- 24:07for a fiver. Fivers feel like I mean one hundred, I mean,
- 24:11gee, but no, I don't know. I feel like with the amount
- 24:12of work that gets done here on a Friday, you might as well just
- 24:15make it a work week, to be honest. Weatherwise, today it is
- 24:18going to be cloudy, high of about forty one. Looking ahead at your
- 24:21forecast, we still could hit fifty this week.
