  [SPEAKER_01]: I know that we had like all the really good feelings about how we played last season, Sean Peyton hyping him as a top, you know, he's going to be a top three, four or five quarterback in the next two years.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And when you go against that day and day out and you don't have the top weapons in the NFL to get open on a regular basis, he's having to scramble a little bit more from what I understand it practice.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure that wears on you and you're going to have some bad days against a defense like that no matter how good a quarterback you are.

  [SPEAKER_02]: If you're Peyton Manning and his prime, if you're Tom Brady and his prime, if you're playing one of the top defenses of the ball every day in practice, you're going to have a few days of that.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not worried about it.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe could be pushing a little bit.

  [SPEAKER_02]: It could be the fact that defense has always started ahead of offenses when we get to training camp.

  [SPEAKER_02]: It could be, like I said, offensive line, maybe having a few struggles against this defensive line.

  [SPEAKER_02]: It could also be the fact that most of his weapons this year are brand new, other than sudden.

  [SPEAKER_02]: You got a new tied in that you're working with Franklin.

  [SPEAKER_02]: We don't know who the number two wide receiver is, but that's kind of a whole new battle that's going on there.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So I think that it's kind of a combination of all these things, causing a little bit of distress.

  [SPEAKER_02]: I was listening to Sean Payton, his interview with Kay Adams.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And he pointed to the building project they have going on.

  [SPEAKER_02]: He's like, this is kind of a picture of our team right now.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Now, when it becomes a finished product, you're going to love it.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Not pulling for it, but he could get hurt and that changes the market a lot for him.

  [SPEAKER_01]: He should not get pay Miles Garrett, whatever Micah Parsons ends up getting.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Bonito, while he has improved as a run defender, he's still not to that kind of tier of a mile's gear TJ Watt.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So that part of it, and I think Bonito is helped a lot by having the town around him Zach Allen, JFM, Cooper on the other side.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Or he's getting one on one opportunities on the outside, go win with your athleticism and he doesn't.

  [SPEAKER_02]: But I don't remember really seeing him as much double team to those other guys because he's just not that quite that level where teams are going, okay, we've got a game plan around this one player.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Actually, made some guys missed tackles, which was kind of one of our big complaints last year was that if his shoe got touched, he was going down.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's going to be very close sample reps between all of them with Franklin, MIMS, Bryant, and probably sure for the right now, Vali feels like he's the one who might be on the outside, and I'm on trade watch with Vali right now, injuries can change things, but yeah, it's going to be

  [SPEAKER_01]: And we'll probably say that you clip that and he's going to have been no doubt number two receiver on the team or something like that because right it's preseason still.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be revolved around Sutton and Ingram and then kind of fitting guys in there and you can follow the practice reps there.

  [SPEAKER_02]: There's going to be some great result plays and all of us are going to be cheering those on, but they might not have been a great process for him to have gone through with the coaches are going to look at that and they're going to say, Hey, I'm glad that you had a twenty five yard run, but did you not see this lane that opened up where there's like three yards of space for you to run through for an easy big gain up the middle.
