- 0:08Speaker 1: So yesterday I did.
- 0:10Speaker 2: A audio only version of the show. Uh and and
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm looking right now at my charts it is number
- 0:20Speaker 2: one of all of my like ninety audio shows.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I'd like to sometimes do just audio only versions of
- 0:28Speaker 2: show just to get the audio lists something extra because
- 0:32Speaker 2: you guys are listening audio wise to my shows. You
- 0:36Speaker 2: know videos, now I can do video. I'm sitting there looking,
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm like, it's still it's and it's number one, like
- 0:42Speaker 2: it's triple the number two. So it's just it's amazing
- 0:48Speaker 2: how much this is. Yeah, it's it's crazy. Yeah, it's crazy. Hi,
- 0:54Speaker 2: by j J this morning.
- 0:55Speaker 1: How are you. My brother got a job? Yes, kids.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Him being off was very interesting because he had the
- 1:06Speaker 2: same job for twenty six years. I moved home seventeen
- 1:10Speaker 2: almost eighteen years ago in two thousand and nine, and
- 1:15Speaker 2: he had a job. So our relationship was very different
- 1:19Speaker 2: because we never he had a job Monday through Friday
- 1:23Speaker 2: radio schedule. I was an entrepreneur, do whatever I'm doing
- 1:28Speaker 2: my thing. But like we never really we never really
- 1:30Speaker 2: asked me about what I was doing. I never asked
- 1:32Speaker 2: hibout what he was doing. We just kind would do
- 1:33Speaker 2: our thing. Two roomates of the house do our thing.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Him being home for it has only been got wild
- 1:44Speaker 2: because he stopped in May end of May, so June
- 1:47Speaker 2: July only went two and a half months much to
- 1:51Speaker 2: work today last this comes out of me yesterday, two
- 1:54Speaker 2: and a half months a lot of us.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I was in a long time to be out of
- 1:58Speaker 1: a job.
- 1:58Speaker 2: That's that's very I have friends who seriously are still looking,
- 2:01Speaker 2: and I sent all my energy to you. Depends on
- 2:04Speaker 2: your field also, and just experienced everything like that. And
- 2:09Speaker 2: my brother's older and it's a little tougher and he
- 2:11Speaker 2: got a lot of what he wanted actually in terms
- 2:14Speaker 2: of location, hours times, but he's going to learn the
- 2:20Speaker 2: type of job like d of stuff. For me, it's
- 2:23Speaker 2: really interesting because I was I just do whatever I want.
- 2:26Speaker 2: No one's here. Usually it's just me doing my job.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I have my semi routines. I'm an entrepreneur, you know,
- 2:33Speaker 2: I have there so as I have jobs at home,
- 2:36Speaker 2: sometimes I have jobs outside the home. Sometimes I have
- 2:38Speaker 2: interviews in the morning. Like for example, yesterday I had
- 2:42Speaker 2: nothing planned till three pm. That's the interview. But I
- 2:46Speaker 2: planned work to do. But it was like but it
- 2:49Speaker 2: was just like it was nothing plased. So I may
- 2:51Speaker 2: get up a little later, I make get up a
- 2:53Speaker 2: little earlier. I may do some work at two o'clock
- 2:55Speaker 2: in the morning. I could just and having him ask
- 2:58Speaker 2: it what are you doing?
- 2:58Speaker 1: What are you doing? What are you doing?
- 3:00Speaker 2: And commentary on everything I'm doing with it, so and
- 3:03Speaker 2: ask me what do I do next? What's gonna say?
- 3:04Speaker 2: I'm not I was not used to that. I'm used
- 3:08Speaker 2: to just doing whatever the f I want and not
- 3:10Speaker 2: worry about what's going on. Nobody asks me. I don't
- 3:11Speaker 2: know if I talk to does not have a boss?
- 3:13Speaker 2: I am the boss. Nobody answered to you, really, So
- 3:18Speaker 2: the kid goes, what's your schedule there? But other than that,
- 3:20Speaker 2: I just do what. I'm just not used to having
- 3:22Speaker 2: somebody here while I'm here. So it's kind of funny
- 3:25Speaker 2: when people say, like when housewives are like the husband's
- 3:28Speaker 2: home for two weeks, like go back to work, like
- 3:31Speaker 2: it's it's very interesting. Uh.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And then in one of.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Those months was scary because I don't know how much
- 3:38Speaker 2: I've said or not said, or you've seen on my
- 3:40Speaker 2: social media. So I don't tell all my business, but
- 3:43Speaker 2: I'll tell you guys a little bit more so I
- 3:45Speaker 2: brother collapse last in July, and it was in the
- 3:49Speaker 2: hospital for a while and a whole, and I hadn't
- 3:51Speaker 2: really take care of him for a lot of that
- 3:53Speaker 2: month until almost all basically all of July, a little
- 3:56Speaker 2: bit a little in August, you know, And it's been
- 4:00Speaker 2: it's been a trip because I have my mother and him,
- 4:03Speaker 2: and he's my right hand man. He tolds my mom,
- 4:05Speaker 2: and I didn't take care of both of them, So
- 4:07Speaker 2: that was a trip take care of him because we
- 4:09Speaker 2: never we've never he's always he's never been that sincly before.
- 4:12Speaker 1: We've never been that position before.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And it was it was it was it was that
- 4:20Speaker 2: was heavy.
- 4:21Speaker 1: That was heavy.
- 4:22Speaker 2: There was some nice parts to it. We did we
- 4:25Speaker 2: didn't hang out together a little more and we ran
- 4:30Speaker 2: errands together, a little errands together and had some fun
- 4:32Speaker 2: doing mats. So that that was just I to learn
- 4:36Speaker 2: some more about him. I learned some things about him
- 4:39Speaker 2: I didn't I didn't know we just because we just
- 4:40Speaker 2: we're not we're not big on hanging out together.
- 4:42Speaker 1: We have just two different lives very much so.
- 4:46Speaker 2: But we we have a lot of things in common
- 4:49Speaker 2: and things and then we have things that are just different.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I was learning about stuff. And you know, we're we're family.
- 4:55Speaker 2: You know, we help each other out. G R and I,
- 4:57Speaker 2: we both are very much We have a lot of
- 5:01Speaker 2: base level things that are the same. We feel the
- 5:05Speaker 2: same about, you know, dignity and compassion and you know,
- 5:09Speaker 2: being there for certain people and showing up. We're both
- 5:12Speaker 2: big about that. We're both big on that kind of
- 5:14Speaker 2: stuff and we have no problem with that.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Uh.
- 5:18Speaker 2: They're they're just basic things that we we we were on,
- 5:22Speaker 2: you know, and uh, and that that's always nice, right,
- 5:26Speaker 2: It's always nice to be able agree there with your
- 5:27Speaker 2: brother to agree with you on We're only three years apart.
- 5:31Speaker 2: We like a lot of same music, it's on the
- 5:34Speaker 2: same TV shows, things like that.
- 5:37Speaker 1: So all that, so all of that, all of that,
- 5:40Speaker 1: uh is.
- 5:44Speaker 2: One thing. It's good almost almost like this is like
- 5:46Speaker 2: this live right, these live one that got bat to
- 5:48Speaker 2: it again. I have to ask Candace mac a question
- 5:53Speaker 2: audio and radio and we go vice send me a video.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I look at that a little later. So that's okay.
- 6:05Speaker 2: And Tam, he's been great. But that's also been my
- 6:07Speaker 2: brother out helping us us out. Riccardo and Xander, my
- 6:11Speaker 2: sister and brother in law, Flobo he was just and
- 6:14Speaker 2: it was great. And Secondacy Caesar, it was off. But
- 6:17Speaker 2: it's a trip. I I like having my space. I
- 6:22Speaker 2: realized I like having my space, like having I have
- 6:27Speaker 2: to answer the body. It's it's kind of it's my
- 6:29Speaker 2: business and I'll talk about what I want to talk
- 6:31Speaker 2: about it. That's why I leave the house, that we
- 6:35Speaker 2: do it what's going on. And also it's kind of
- 6:37Speaker 2: nice not to have that worry of I hope he's okay,
- 6:39Speaker 2: he's okay. Now he's back in. I new he's had
- 6:42Speaker 2: a new job. I'm gonna wish him super well there.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You know, how does he gets a new job. You
- 6:46Speaker 2: get a little nervous, You think to do this and
- 6:49Speaker 2: he'll be He'll be fine. It's just been It's just
- 6:51Speaker 2: it's just a whole new experience to me. It's kind
- 6:54Speaker 2: of exciting also that have a new experience. M hmm,
- 6:59Speaker 2: you're not just we somebody will they work at jobs.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Row mean twenty six years a long time. It's a
- 7:04Speaker 2: long time. And I I think this change is gonna
- 7:08Speaker 2: be good for him. We all need change. We can't
- 7:11Speaker 2: just be stale in the same situation. But then I'm
- 7:14Speaker 2: always creating change, So maybe I'm not the right person.
- 7:17Speaker 2: And I'm always like change, change, change, change, change all
- 7:20Speaker 2: the time, so you know, and uh, but then I'm
- 7:23Speaker 2: coming up in a in a week from now, I'll
- 7:25Speaker 2: be leaving and I'll be gone for a month and
- 7:27Speaker 2: about a month and a half. And so that's interesting too,
- 7:31Speaker 2: uh not here being not here, so some time we've
- 7:34Speaker 2: got a chance to spend time together, you know, eat together,
- 7:37Speaker 2: which you don't know me do. We've got shopping together
- 7:40Speaker 2: if you don't normally do had some laughs, so it
- 7:45Speaker 2: was kind of cool. So why so, But I'm glad
- 7:47Speaker 2: he got a job, and I'm just because of the
- 7:50Speaker 2: monitary stuff, because monitary wise we're did okay, that's fine,
- 7:53Speaker 2: And I knew that, you know, I want him. I
- 7:55Speaker 2: wanted him to take his time and find the right gig.
- 7:58Speaker 2: He's got unemployment. Said about that he had some money
- 8:01Speaker 2: left over the last job, but I was I wanted
- 8:03Speaker 2: him to tell it's like, it's nothing worse than going
- 8:05Speaker 2: getting taking any job because you're fearful. We don't know
- 8:09Speaker 2: if you want to do it. Learn anything for me
- 8:11Speaker 2: this morning. Besides, my brother, you're back to work. Do
- 8:13Speaker 2: not do that. I know it's hard. I know it's
- 8:15Speaker 2: hard out there. Trust me. I have I have sold recycling,
- 8:20Speaker 2: sold my clothes, So being back up out sold CDs
- 8:22Speaker 2: to make money, to make rent, to make a bill happen.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Trust me, I know how hard it is out there.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Sometimes, so just get just to pay a basic bill
- 8:33Speaker 2: and then exctin things come up, and like said my brother,
- 8:35Speaker 2: the hospitality came up. If you don't have any insurance,
- 8:38Speaker 2: you got to pay for yourself cars, stuff comes up.
- 8:41Speaker 2: But I just but still I'm just like, it's if
- 8:44Speaker 2: you can, if you can really vet these jobs, any
- 8:49Speaker 2: situations as well as you can and really trying to
- 8:53Speaker 2: find one that it is best for you, that's gonna
- 8:56Speaker 2: because sometimes you'll see take a job, you get a paycheck,
- 9:01Speaker 2: you're making less than.
- 9:04Speaker 1: To live off of that you're doing.
- 9:05Speaker 2: You're spending more money trying to get their transportation wise
- 9:09Speaker 2: or whatever that you don't make enough money. Anybody goes
- 9:13Speaker 2: out and you have nothing. Really you know you still
- 9:15Speaker 2: have enough or you're gonna get two jobs at three jobs.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I rather for me is you know me, I rather
- 9:20Speaker 2: have two or three jobs that I really enjoy than
- 9:23Speaker 2: one job that I hate. I do that ever, again.
- 9:26Speaker 2: But I turned thirty nine, I said never again. I
- 9:30Speaker 2: will never do that again. That's what I said. I'm
- 9:36Speaker 2: James I Jr. Onnybody, have a good day to day
- 9:39Speaker 2: and really think and if you're think about they about
- 9:41Speaker 2: your jobs, they mut your home situation, They about your jobs.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Think about both of those today.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Are you know? If you're an entrepreneur like me, think
- 9:48Speaker 1: about that situation to you? Are you do?
- 9:49Speaker 2: You know?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Are you good? You do okay? Because i love what
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'm doing and.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I'm having some newer success out of it, and I
- 9:55Speaker 2: asally great people i'm working with.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So for me, I'm good. We'll see you next time. Mhm.
