- 0:51Very important topic today.
- 0:52We're going to be talking about some of the disturbing things that are going on in the public school system.
- 0:58The government runs it.
- 1:00We've said this for a long time.
- 1:01I've got an expert guest on the topic, author and conference speaker Linda Harvey,
- 1:06who founded Mission America in 1995.
- 1:09She is a Christian pro family, or that is a Christian pro family organization,
- 1:13tracking current cultural issues.
- 1:15And the media ministry of Linda Harvey is an outgrowth of her faith
- 1:19and a successful career in marketing and public relations.
- 1:23It's MissionAmerica.com, a lot of great articles and resources on there.
- 1:28On current social issues, she's got a weekly e-news letter sent to a national audience
- 1:34and a radio show in Ohio on the Salem network station in Columbus, WRFD.
- 1:42Linda Harvey, welcome to Worldviewmatters.
- 1:45Thank you, David.
- 1:46It's great to be with you today.
- 1:47Yeah, good to see you.
- 1:48Well, let's start with your neck of the woods.
- 1:51We have a couple of guests from Ohio.
- 1:53In fact, I think, when other from Columbus, what's happening there?
- 1:57You sent us a graphic on something.
- 1:59I think you've got a story or two you can tell us about as far as what's going on
- 2:03when the public schools or the courts there.
- 2:04And actually, yeah, they're what's coming up in November.
- 2:07Tell us about that.
- 2:08Yeah, we have one of the most radical pro abortion, abortion on demand
- 2:13through all nine months of pregnancy, ballot issues in November.
- 2:18And it's very similar to one that passed in Michigan just north of us.
- 2:24This passed the last November.
- 2:26And so we've been putting out material, you know, Ohio beat Michigan, you know,
- 2:31because we need to defeat this.
- 2:33It's not simply abortion on demand.
- 2:35It would obliterate parental consent.
- 2:38It would obliterate questions.
- 2:41And any questions parents have about contraception, even opens the door
- 2:46to underage minors being counseled in all of this and treated,
- 2:51even for gender issues without parental consent.
- 2:54So it's the way it's phrased.
- 2:56They use the phrase in this, and this is Planned Parenthood in ACLU
- 3:00and all the usual suspects.
- 3:02But they use language similar to they did how they did in Michigan.
- 3:06They use the language of every individual deserves reproductive freedom.
- 3:12Individual with no sex definition and no age definition.
- 3:17So this could create a precedent that is a nightmare.
- 3:23Tell us about that.
- 3:24How does that happen?
- 3:26And I know Michigan Gretchen Whitmer just passed something and they did some loss.
- 3:31Supposedly she wanted to protect children, she says, right?
- 3:35But what they're doing, Michigan leaders, they're actually endorsing the sterilization of minors
- 3:42and they're all for the trans movement and they're all fully abortion on demand.
- 3:47But she wants to protect children.
- 3:49The hypocrisy is amazing.
- 3:51So what is the language there in Ohio that might confuse people?
- 3:55And is it similar to what was passed in Michigan?
- 3:59Well, if you read it pretty closely, it should not confuse you
- 4:03because it says every individual deserves the rights to reproductive freedom,
- 4:09including but not limited to abortion, contraception, infertility, treatment,
- 4:16all sorts of pregnancy issues, and that the state shall not interfere.
- 4:22The state or any representative of shall not interfere, which means schools.
- 4:26So the pro-life movement is very coalesced around this.
- 4:30I think we're doing a great job.
- 4:33There's a group called Protect Women Ohio,
- 4:36and I'm part of that coalition, our group, Michigan America.
- 4:39And they're leading the campaign to oppose issue one.
- 4:43And the bad news is we also have a legalized recreational marijuana issue
- 4:49on the ballot as well, that's issue two.
- 4:52So we have two knows that we're asking people to vote on.
- 4:55So we've got a lot going on that will impact families and children in Ohio.
- 4:59Wow, and that's weeks away, really.
- 5:04It's coming up early voting this week, it's next week, so next week.
- 5:08Oh, wow.
- 5:09Okay, so I do want to mention some good news, Linda,
- 5:12before we get into what you have on your website.
- 5:15It's very to me a very helpful resource.
- 5:17We've talked about this before, but not with this audience here at World View Matters,
- 5:21the school corruption and propaganda calendar.
- 5:24It's amazing what they are supporting openly in the public schools today.
- 5:29But there is a story, a couple of these cases,
- 5:33a federal court ruled that Christian teachers can't be forced to lie to parents
- 5:40about kids gender confusion.
- 5:42Now, this was a federal judge, I believe in the Chino, California,
- 5:47the school districts out there.
- 5:48I believe you mentioned there may have been one in the Midwest as well.
- 5:52There are other cases like this, Linda, so these are, this is good news.
- 5:56It's sad that it has come to this where these cases have to go to the courts,
- 6:00where parental rights are not, I mean, we can't take them for granted anymore.
- 6:06And that's what's sad about this.
- 6:07So your thoughts on cases like this and any other ones that are similar
- 6:11that you can talk to us about?
- 6:13Well, you have one in Wisconsin.
- 6:15I just read about yesterday.
- 6:17It's, is it Waukesha?
- 6:19Yeah.
- 6:21County court just ruled in a case with Kettle Moraine school district
- 6:28that they court ruled that the school is wrong to keep parents
- 6:33from knowing about name changes and pronoun use
- 6:37by their children at school without their knowledge.
- 6:40So here we go.
- 6:41So there's an Iowa court that also had a recent case that was similar to that.
- 6:49And the sixth circuit in, which is Tennessee, Michigan, Kentucky,
- 6:56and Ohio just had a very good ruling on gender treatment bans for kids.
- 7:01So we're seeing some good stuff out there, excuse me.
- 7:04Yes, yes, and we need more of it.
- 7:06And it's just sad, unfortunately, that we have to fight this battle
- 7:09in the courts, something that should be a given, something
- 7:12that what would our great grandparents think?
- 7:15Or what would our grandparents think?
- 7:17They would go, wait a minute.
- 7:18The controversy or debate is about protecting children and, you know,
- 7:23from lying, from doing these procedures.
- 7:25It's just amazing what the schools are pushing in and some of them getting away
- 7:29with.
- 7:30That brings me to your calendar, Linda.
- 7:33Actually, one more thing.
- 7:34You sent a graphic of a picture of a library.
- 7:37I wanted to talk about that because libraries, that's kind of flown under the radar.
- 7:41Tell us about this right here.
- 7:44This is a picture in an Ohio library, someone sent me during Pride month.
- 7:49It was a public library, but we have many other graphics over the years
- 7:53where we've seen school librarians during the May and June time period.
- 7:59And also right now, which is supposedly quote, unquote,
- 8:03LGBTQ history month.
- 8:06So they will put out these library displays with books
- 8:13that have been LGBTQ theme, either in May and early June before school lets out or in the fall.
- 8:21And also because of so-called band books week, which were just wrapping up here.
- 8:28You know, and it's the problem is that many of these homosexual and transgender themed books
- 8:35for middle and high schoolers have obscene material involved in pornographic passage
- 8:41one after another.
- 8:42I've never seen the kind of material that's out there now.
- 8:46It's beyond belief.
- 8:48Yeah, and the agenda is relentless.
- 8:50They're accessing children at younger and younger ages.
- 8:54We've seen this coming for you and I.
- 8:57We're going, hello, we've been trying to sound the alarm wave the flag and you know, warning warning.
- 9:02We've been talking about this for a long time.
- 9:04We've written about it.
- 9:06Oh, by the way, I want to mention your book.
- 9:08Maybe he's not gay.
- 9:10I forgot to mention that.
- 9:12I mentioned that you were an author when I introduced you, Linda, but this is a great book, guys.
- 9:16I think you can look into maybe he's not gay.
- 9:20And gosh, it's like we can't even have that conversation.
- 9:25That free speech is being censored and suppressed today that there might be a possibility that all
- 9:30these young people that are jumping on the LGBTQ bandwagon, a lot of them do it for attention.
- 9:36A lot of them are not really thinking they're gay or lesbian or trans.
- 9:41They're doing it for different reasons, but it's like we're the enemy for raising the
- 9:45question, well, maybe they're not, maybe they're not transgender.
- 9:49Maybe they're not gay.
- 9:50Your thoughts on that and tell us a little bit about the book.
- 9:53Well, it says another view on homosexuality and then I have a chapter in there on maybe
- 9:58he's not a girl, which is why updated it for the gender confusion matter.
- 10:05The whole premise is everything is built on one big assumption that some people are born
- 10:10this way.
- 10:11And even within Christian church, we have a big controversy recently over Andy Stanley's
- 10:17church in Atlanta.
- 10:19And that's he's, he typifies a move among even evangelicals to go toward accepting the
- 10:26sexual orientation and the gender identity and underlying that is some belief that people
- 10:32are born that way.
- 10:33He's unbiblical, it's apostasy, total apostasy.
- 10:38And Christians should stand on this, even if they see, you know, policy after policy
- 10:44that makes that assumption, there is no evidence anyone is born homosexual.
- 10:49And I'll say it here again for anybody who's interested.
- 10:52I've never had anyone take me up on this, but I'll give $10,000, anybody who can find
- 10:57me a gay gene.
- 10:59And I feel very comfortable that our bank account will be secure because it doesn't exist.
- 11:05That's right.
- 11:06I think science even affirms that.
- 11:09I mean, let alone the Bible for us as Christians, the Bible is enough.
- 11:14God's the creator and designer of every human being, male or female.
- 11:19Science backs that up, but isn't it amazing, Linda, today, even biology and science are
- 11:24under attack when it comes to some of the basics.
- 11:28We only have a minute to hear before we need to take a very quick break.
- 11:32But we are at a place where they say Pride Month is just in June and you and I can laugh
- 11:39and laugh and laugh, but it's really sad.
- 11:42It's queer all year.
- 11:44Friends out there watching, you've seen the TV commercials, you've seen what's on
- 11:48primetime, you've seen the shows, all the gay and lesbian characters now in almost every
- 11:53show.
- 11:54You've seen the magazine racks at the grocery store.
- 11:57You've seen the push on social media.
- 11:58It's not just Pride Month.
- 12:00Linda, according to your calendar, this is, as you mentioned, LGBTQ history month.
- 12:06Wait a minute.
- 12:07Now they've got their own month as well.
- 12:09Now this is what the public schools are celebrating.
- 12:12Your thoughts before we take a break?
- 12:13Yeah, it's that excuse to push the LGBTQ agenda to legitimize it, to normalize all these
- 12:20behaviors and to put up displays everywhere and then invent these past histories for,
- 12:27you know, famous figures like Chikofsky, Abraham Lincoln, and people like that.
- 12:33One, one legislator in North Dakota just is proposing, I just read this, that Sodom
- 12:40and Gomorrah be included in LGBTQ history month, which would be amazing, that's where it
- 12:46starts.
- 12:47That's funny.
- 12:48I did a sermon on that at a conference last month and I looked into the actual world
- 12:54history, real actual history of Sodom and Gomorrah, that the surrounding cities there
- 12:59called cities of the plane.
- 13:01And what modern day scientists think happened was a meteor came down and, you know, affected
- 13:09that area.
- 13:10But anyway, that's in Genesis, friends.
- 13:12We're with Linda Harvey, Mission America.
- 13:13We will be right back on World View Matters.
- 13:16Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily.
- 13:19The world news biblically understood, stay informed at harbingersdaily.com.
- 13:33We're back with Linda Harvey, Mission America, before we get to more of her calendar, which
- 13:38is very helpful on Mission America.com, it's called the school corruption and propaganda
- 13:43calendar.
- 13:44So through some of the events that are documented on this unfortunate timeline of what they celebrate
- 13:51and it's getting longer and longer and longer.
- 13:55Before we get back to that, Family Research Council, FRC.org, they've got 11 resources
- 14:03for parents to fight transgender ideology and policy in public schools.
- 14:09You can look it up.
- 14:10You can research that at FRC.org, Family Research Council again, 11 resources for parents
- 14:17to fight transgender ideology.
- 14:20We might get to that at the end of the time, but it's going by very fast with Linda as
- 14:24I knew it would.
- 14:25So Linda Harvey, its LGBTQ history month, according to the public schools and the Game
- 14:30Mafia and the Elphabet Soup Club, but I just saw this hot off the press article.
- 14:37Los Angeles School District is celebrating LGBTQ's National Coming Out Day.
- 14:44It's not just a day all week long.
- 14:48So they're taking what used to be a day, making it all week, and for Pride Month, it used
- 14:54to be a month, and now it's all year that we're celebrating.
- 14:57We're finding a way to put this in the public eye.
- 15:00It's bombarding us to the point of, I think, oversaturation.
- 15:05What are your thoughts on this?
- 15:06Have they overplayed their hand?
- 15:08I mean, how much more can they push on the public?
- 15:11Well, I was very encouraged to see about two or three weeks ago, right, the beginning
- 15:16of school, that a number of students in a Pennsylvania school district, you probably saw this,
- 15:22over a hundred walked out of the school over their transgender policies.
- 15:28Again, these are, this is a conservative reaction, and I'm just cheering because the kids themselves
- 15:34are going to react.
- 15:35If the parents don't, and parents are, we're seeing so much more activity and involvement
- 15:42by parents than ever before, but the kids are going to react.
- 15:45And so I think they are overplaying their hand.
- 15:48People know it's all phony, it's a big agenda.
- 15:51It's not about love and rainbows, it's about depravity and grave sin that no one needs
- 15:57to stay in.
- 15:58People can change.
- 16:00And so to keep emphasizing that.
- 16:03Can we say grooming?
- 16:06We can.
- 16:07That is what it is.
- 16:08And you know, a lot of these people that are pushing this in schools, and by the way,
- 16:12there are still many wonderful and very concerned and stressed out teachers trying to, you
- 16:20know, eat through these waters and do what they can with all this around them.
- 16:24But we do have a lot of activists, administrators, and teachers, and some of them are not specifically
- 16:30groomers.
- 16:31They're just going along to get along because this is what the big folks, the NEA, the teachers,
- 16:37unions, American Federation of Teachers are pushing.
- 16:41And so if they want to be promoted, you just have to go along with this.
- 16:45So some of it is not deliberate, and we just have to hold them to the fire.
- 16:50And we need to elect conservative school board candidates everywhere we can, too.
- 16:55Yes, it starts local.
- 16:56Thank you for bringing that up.
- 16:58Very important point, local level.
- 17:00I mean, the federal, that's gone, friends, I'm sorry.
- 17:05We've seen story after story about what the Biden administration is pushing in the NEA.
- 17:11Oh, by the way, if you haven't seen a speech from Becky Pringle or Randy Winegarden,
- 17:18just go listen to some of their words, look at how they are raw, raw for this agenda.
- 17:23They are absolutely open and blatant and boldly standing for perversity.
- 17:29And Linda, it's no surprise, parents need to be more aware of that.
- 17:32But let's go back to what's happening in the schools.
- 17:35They're celebrating LGBTQ history month, coming out day, which technically was supposed
- 17:41to be just October 11, but it's now a whole week.
- 17:44But what is glisten, how are they behind all this and the human rights campaign?
- 17:48But glisten pushes the majority of this, correct?
- 17:52Yes, glisten is the sort of the ground zero of homosexual and transgender advocacy in schools.
- 18:01They started in the late 80s and started pushing these gay, straight alliance clubs in Massachusetts
- 18:11high schools.
- 18:12And then they joined up with the GSA network and they're all kind of, I don't think they're
- 18:18specifically officially affiliated, but the GSA network is all about the clubs as well.
- 18:24They're based on the West Coast.
- 18:27But glisten has been pushing curricula, advocacy, lobbying, and these homosexual clubs in
- 18:33middle and high school.
- 18:35And there are many now in the, there are some in the elementary schools as well.
- 18:40So they're urging kids to identify, proudly identify as gay, as early as late elementary
- 18:46school now.
- 18:48And in the implication is that people are born this way and it's like race.
- 18:53So what you see in and among all of this is this solidarity movement, okay?
- 18:59Because the racial black lives matter, the race, the con job is basically what I call it.
- 19:05People make money and reputations off of dividing us in ways that we don't need to be divided.
- 19:13They're joining with the LGBT folks and assuming all this is, and if you're not in favor of
- 19:19for instance, a boy changing into a girl, you're a racist, you're not just transphobic,
- 19:24you're a racist.
- 19:25And so there's nonsensical irrational thinking going on too and being presented to our kids
- 19:30as such.
- 19:31So let's get back to some of these events that you've got listed on this propaganda
- 19:35calendar, school corruption calendar.
- 19:37And friends, I printed this out from Linda's website, it's four pages.
- 19:41So we're going to pick up the pace just a little bit, Linda, spirit day is on here, supposed
- 19:47to be October 19.
- 19:49And then international pronouns day, October 18, I mean, international pronouns day.
- 19:55This is not going to stop spirit day.
- 19:57What is that about?
- 19:59Yeah, spirit day is people are to wear purple.
- 20:03It just highlights students who identify as homosexual or gender deviant.
- 20:08And it's just, it's just one more day.
- 20:11This is different organization, glad pushing this.
- 20:16What you got is a lot of different advocacy groups, getting in the door where they can.
- 20:21So this is just another one.
- 20:23Can we parenthetically insert a demonic spirit day?
- 20:27Demonic?
- 20:28Absolutely.
- 20:29It's all fair, yes.
- 20:31So what are your thoughts?
- 20:33I see this international pronouns day, October 18.
- 20:37What are your thoughts on how they have changed the language?
- 20:40Now it's almost demanding or demanded of people to abide by this, this pronoun policy.
- 20:49Now it's, I mean, there was no public debate on this.
- 20:52There was no federal legislation or state legislation passed.
- 20:55All of a sudden, we're supposed to, you know, say whatever pronoun someone demands of
- 21:01us right here in Wisconsin, Linda Harvey, 4,000 population keel Wisconsin.
- 21:07There were three eighth grade boys that got suspended because they didn't bow down to
- 21:14the pronouns and repeat the pronouns of a classmate who said, you know, you need to use
- 21:18my pronouns.
- 21:19This is not just in pockets like LA or Columbus, Ohio or Atlanta or DC, San Francisco.
- 21:27This is nationwide.
- 21:29How do we get here with the pronouns and how can parents respond when their kids are in
- 21:33classes and feel pressured to lie?
- 21:37Yeah, we have a couple of articles on our website, one about how you can resist the
- 21:42pronoun police and we predicted this last year and boom, there it was.
- 21:49I mean, it's, it's amazing how they are, they signal exactly what they're going to do.
- 21:56And the big thing to where this is going to come through and be required and was used
- 22:00in that Wisconsin, the three middle school boys case, which was thrown out, by the way,
- 22:06because parents, I believe it was thrown on parents complaint, but we're using title
- 22:11nine, which is the federal law passed in 1972 to ensure a non discrimination on the basis
- 22:18of sex, basically to make sure that women had sports and educational opportunities in
- 22:23any federally funded K through 12 or higher education.
- 22:27So what they're trying to do, the right administration and Obama tried this too, is to change that
- 22:33on the basis of sex phrase to include sexual orientation and gender identity.
- 22:39They're going to mandate pronouns, they're going to mandate all gender restrooms, they're
- 22:43going to mandate boys and girls sports teams using title nine.
- 22:47The good news is that when they came out of this proposal from the Department of Education,
- 22:52there were so many complaints last year that they're slowing this down.
- 22:56It's an election issue now.
- 22:58They may put it off until after the election, but we got to hold them to the far, because
- 23:03this will tyranny schools.
- 23:06Yep.
- 23:07So let's move on to solidarity week.
- 23:09This is coming up in early November, sponsored by Glissen.
- 23:15During this week, your child in public schools will be urged to become an ally, because it
- 23:20was formerly ally week of students or teachers who are LGBTQ.
- 23:26What else can you tell us about solidarity week, Linda?
- 23:28Right.
- 23:29It's what we were just talking about with joining hands with all of the folks, including
- 23:37the racial, racially motivated groups, all the social justice, people of color, they
- 23:44call them sexual minorities, but also to weave in all the straight kids, they want to make
- 23:51this movement big and say, come alongside me.
- 23:55You're my buddy, and if you really are a compassionate person and believe in social justice and
- 24:03inclusivity and diversity, you will support all of these sexually deviant behaviors.
- 24:09And that's, again, we are kids have lost any version of the truth being presented to
- 24:15them in these, with these agendas.
- 24:17Okay.
- 24:18In November, transgender awareness week, and by the way, solidarity, that's just not
- 24:24just a week, you know, they push this all year round, transgender awareness week, as
- 24:28if people are not aware of the transgender movement, and then there's transgender day
- 24:33of remembrance, that is, those are both in November.
- 24:37Let's go to January and stop me if you want to interject.
- 24:41No name calling week is the middle of January, another event to normalize homosexuality,
- 24:47and then February, this doesn't sound like a bad thing, Linda, national reading day.
- 24:52Why is that a bad thing that's February 16?
- 24:55It started out.
- 24:56I don't know if people will remember, many will jazz Jennings, you know, this young man
- 25:02who was a highlight by I think Barbara Walters on a TV show, when he was six years old changing
- 25:09into a girl supposedly, well, it was, it was built around the publicity after he, he
- 25:16slash she, but he started a TV show, like there was a show that followed him on, on
- 25:26the reality show, yeah, all these show.
- 25:30And then he was, you know, they were highlighting him.
- 25:34He was the focal point of this jazz, Jennings, jazz and friends national day of reading.
- 25:41They've taken him out because he's having a lot of problems, and so they're now just
- 25:45keeping the day of reading and highlighting the welcoming schools, which is a pro transgender
- 25:50elementary school program by the human rights campaign.
- 25:54But the poor jazz Jennings could use some, some prayer.
- 25:57Yes, pray for him, unbelievable, what his parents have done and allowed.
- 26:02But anyway, that's for another time.
- 26:05Transgender day of visibility, we're talking about March now in the school year, day of silence
- 26:10is in April, international day against homophobia, transphobia and bifobia, that's in May, Harvey
- 26:16Milk Day is on the calendar.
- 26:19And of course, who LGBTQ pride month, which is now queer all year, it's pride all year.
- 26:24Are there any one of these things?
- 26:25Linda, actually, you know, we're still running out of time.
- 26:28I want to go back to the top of your page there at MissionAmerica.com on the school corruption
- 26:34and propaganda calendar.
- 26:36Simple question, what can parents do?
- 26:37What can you do?
- 26:39The four items there, talk about the four items, remove your children, teach them at home
- 26:43or in Christian schools, become acquainted with the messages and the deception, the propaganda
- 26:49and share a little bit more about what can people do about this?
- 26:53Right.
- 26:54The thing you need to do is if you have children in the public schools, you cannot just
- 26:58let this go.
- 26:59You've got to be learning about what they're going to hear and then be ahead of the
- 27:03game.
- 27:04We have material on here and articles about the biblical worldview and other things you
- 27:08can catch up on.
- 27:09You can also go to your school and try to demand equal time.
- 27:13I mean, if they're going to be pushing this, it's a really a civil rights discrimination
- 27:18issue about freedom of religion, ask that you can, you know, somebody can come in and speak
- 27:23to a class or make a presentation and then submit an opt out form to get your kids out
- 27:29of all these sexuality, sexual orientation gender identity lessons and make sure that
- 27:35you opt them out of all the counseling and therapy going under social emotional learning
- 27:40because that sneaks that into lessons as well.
- 27:44Thank you, Linda.
- 27:45I told you it would go by fast today.
- 27:48Anything else you want to squeeze in, any event you have coming up or anything else
- 27:51you want to mention before we let you go?
- 27:55I think the most important thing people can do is to commit to taking ownership of your
- 28:00child's education and if that means you can pull them out of school, you will never regret
- 28:06it at public school.
- 28:07But if you're in there, you can make a difference and you have to be on top of it, but make
- 28:12sure we do that and pray constantly and stay up top of what's going on.
- 28:17Yes, friends, speak up and stand for the truth.
- 28:20Thank you.
- 28:21Linda Harvey, Mission America.
- 28:22We'll do this again.
- 28:23God willing.
- 28:24See you next time, Linda.
- 28:25God bless you.
- 28:26Thank you.
- 28:27All right, guys.
- 28:28Tomorrow, Pastor Carl Gallup sees in Florida Baptist preacher pastor and has written
- 28:34a lot of books.
- 28:35We'll talk to him about some recent events and a pastor's perspective on what's going
- 28:39on with our government and some of the power grabs and some of the people on the left
- 28:45that seem to be above the law in our country.
- 28:48We'll talk about that as with Carl Gallup tomorrow.
- 28:51Thanks again for sharing the show.
- 28:53God bless you.
- 28:54And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
