- 0:00Hello and welcome back to another episode of Bantu
- 0:02Lorenzi. How are you all doing if you're
- 0:04doing great? For today's episode, I want to
- 0:06talk about Michael Elisa, me and his now ex-wife Angela Dean.
- 0:12Now these two people met on Facebook and Angela was in the
- 0:17US, Michael was in Nigeria. So they decided to go on the
- 0:22reality show 90 Day Fiance to, you know, enable them to get
- 0:29their ball, get the ball rolling, and then get Michael to
- 0:33the US for them to start their lives together.
- 0:35Now Angela is, I don't even know how to put it.
- 0:39Angela was very abusive to Michael.
- 0:42She, she, she literally listen, she put her hands on him.
- 0:47She accused him of fraud. She accused him of cheating.
- 0:50She accused him of every. Angela threw the book at
- 0:54Michael. Now let me just play the video
- 0:57for you to see the journey of their relationship and how they
- 1:00are now divorced. To be my love for.
- 1:03Husband to love and to obey to love and to obey what love and
- 1:10to. Obey.
- 1:11Obey what? Obey who?
- 1:16You're saying if I can have a baby, let Michael have it with
- 1:21another woman. No, that's not happening.
- 1:26Who goes and has a baby with someone else?
- 1:28And by the way, who's going to raise it?
- 1:30Because I'm not and it come out of me and I didn't have fun
- 1:32having it. So I'm not taking care of
- 1:34someone else's baby. No, I'm not.
- 1:36No way. There's your cake, Michael.
- 1:41That doesn't work this time. You got pictures in your phone?
- 1:47You're stupid. Let me see.
- 1:49I want to see everything your DMS on Instagram.
- 1:54Wait, wait, wait. No, no.
- 1:56Let's stop. Can I see your phone please?
- 1:58It's my private. Is that a no?
- 1:59I said no. Is it true that?
- 2:02You haven't. Been intimate.
- 2:04Since Michael stepped foot in America.
- 2:07We should have it. We can't even have a
- 2:09conversation. She says all sorts of things to
- 2:11me. I am your husband, for Christ's
- 2:13sake. All those things, all those.
- 2:15All those things you cheated and told that bitch you would come
- 2:21to goddamn America and get the visa and you'll handle me.
- 2:26Then. Send me.
- 2:27Back home a few moments later. You found finally.
- 2:34I'm divorced. Here's the paperwork.
- 2:37Yeah, that's the code down there.
- 2:38I'm right here in his Ross, his Ross, Georgia.
- 2:42And I want to see a big thank you to each and everyone for the
- 2:46love and support. You know, that will be the easy
- 2:51journey or I want to say thank you to everybody.
- 2:53God bless you all. I'm officially because thank
- 2:57you, Father, Lord, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 2:59Single life here I come. Thank you, Shout out to you,
- 3:03Michael, thank you so much. Thank you.
- 3:07Thank. You now, I think everybody and
- 3:15their Mamas are happy for Michael because this guy went
- 3:20through a lot to get to the US. Because listen, on a normal day,
- 3:26I don't think a Nigerian man will put up with what Michael
- 3:31was able to endure in Angela Dean's hands.
- 3:36Yes, we can all sit down and say Michael is calm.
- 3:39Michael, yes, he has a very calm personality, but he knew exactly
- 3:44what he was doing. These two met nine years ago.
- 3:48And since then, Angela had, you know, she called a private
- 3:52investigator because she thought he was into, she was trying to,
- 3:58he was trying to defraud her. Now, as we all know, Angela was
- 4:02a little bit on the, you know, big side when they met.
- 4:05She was very insecure. She thought Michael was
- 4:09messaging everybody. Michael, listen, she went on a
- 4:14weight loss journey. She lost a lot of weight.
- 4:19Michael wanted them to have a child.
- 4:21I think that was the genesis of the problem.
- 4:24Angela, obviously, she's in her 50s or 60s, she can't have
- 4:29children. So Michael was maybe trying to
- 4:32get them to have IVF to be able to for at least for Angela to
- 4:38give you a child. If they're going to be married,
- 4:40then Michael wanted a child, but Angela did not want that.
- 4:46Instead, she took the money that Michael felt they could have
- 4:51used for IVF to do liposuction and weight loss surgeries.
- 5:02I think that was when things got worse.
- 5:07She lost all the weight. But she, she, she that's, you
- 5:12know, insecurity was still there.
- 5:14She was asking Michael to show her his DMS women.
- 5:19She was going through his phones accusing him of cheating.
- 5:23She got a privacy private investigator and it was revealed
- 5:27that Michael never cheated on her.
- 5:30Michael was not there to defraud her.
- 5:32Michael never had any you know I'll intentions because she said
- 5:37he has so many bank accounts and all those were proven false.
- 5:42Michael then started to go fund me to file for a divorce.
- 5:48I think he wanted maybe 5000 lbs and he raised over $50 million.
- 5:57And today Michael is divorced. He's happy, he's celebrating in
- 6:01single life. I come, he's in America, he's
- 6:05travelled to Nigeria. So yes, you can say this is kind
- 6:10of a bitter sweet moment for him.
- 6:13Be listen, he, he went through a lot to be able to get to where
- 6:17he is today. A lot of Nigerian youths are
- 6:21marrying grandmas thinking you know, it's the easiest option to
- 6:26get to America. Your sanity will not be the
- 6:30same. They will traumatise you because
- 6:36getting married to a grandma at the end of the day, it's not
- 6:40like I'm being insultive. Angela is actually a
- 6:44grandmother. You can't have children with
- 6:47them. And most Nigerian men, they want
- 6:50to, most men want to have kids. That's just the reality of the
- 6:54of the whole thing. So if you're getting married to
- 6:56that kind of person, you know that eventually, at some point
- 7:00you're going to want to have children.
- 7:02What happens at that time? And then regardless of how you
- 7:09want to see this whole thing, they still have that colonial
- 7:13mentality. They still see them as, you
- 7:16know, people who are just below them.
- 7:20So the way they will talk to you, the way they will treat
- 7:23you, some of them, some of them, not all of them, but the the
- 7:27ones that are elderly, these are, they are coming from a
- 7:32different generation of people who that was their reality.
- 7:36So trying to change or teach an old dog a new trick most times
- 7:43doesn't work. I am happy for Michael, but let
- 7:50this be a lesson to everybody who thinks the easier route is
- 7:53the best option. Sometimes you have to go through
- 7:56the process. If it takes you going back to
- 7:59school to learn skills, to to learn anything, start afresh to
- 8:06give yourself a better opportunity or a better chance
- 8:10to, to travel gainfully, to be gainfully employed, take that.
- 8:15Take that route. Sometimes things that look easy
- 8:20turn out to be the most challenging and most difficult
- 8:24things you would ever have to go through or you would ever have
- 8:27to endure. A lot of Nigerian men, not just
- 8:31men and women, boys and girls, are marrying older people.
- 8:38It's a trend. But that is not the only
- 8:42options. There are scholarships.
- 8:46There are so many things you can do.
- 8:48Well, anyway, what do I know? We are here happy for Michael.
- 8:52Michael, congratulations. We are happy for you.
- 8:54We're rooting for you and we hope that you have more success
- 8:58because you, you deserve every good thing coming your way.
- 9:03Let me know what you think. Would you marry somebody for
- 9:05papers? Would you marry a grandma or a
- 9:09grandpa for papers? Knowing that there's a
- 9:13possibility you may not have kids with this person or even as
- 9:17a young girl, if you have children with this person, they
- 9:19might not be there to nurture that child.
- 9:22My maximum maybe 10-15 years they're gone or even less than
- 9:27that. Would you be able to to?
- 9:30Are you happy to go through that?
- 9:32Let me know what you think. Thank you very much for watching
- 9:34today's episode. Please like, like, like and
- 9:36share. Subscribe to my channel.
- 9:38Thank you very much for watching.
- 9:39Bye Bye.
