Donald Trump's Legal Offensive Against Epstein Reporting Falls Apart(11/3/26) · Beyond The Horizon

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Back in July of 2025, Donald Trump filed
• 0:09
Speaker 1: a lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over their story
• 0:14
Speaker 1: about the birthday card that he allegedly sent to Jeffrey
• 0:17
Speaker 1: Epstein for Jeffrey Epstein's birthday. And according to Trump, well,
• 0:23
Speaker 1: that letter, that was never sent by him and he
• 0:26
Speaker 1: has no idea how something like that would have ever
• 0:29
Speaker 1: found its way to a guy like Epstein. And at
• 0:32
Speaker 1: the time, I said that if it was a forgery,
• 0:35
Speaker 1: then you would think that the Secret Service would be
• 0:38
Speaker 1: all over that, right? I mean, if somebody forges the
• 0:40
Speaker 1: president's name onto a birthday card, you would think that
• 0:44
Speaker 1: the Secret Service would take that very serious. So if
• 0:48
Speaker 1: it was a forgery, how come we didn't see that
• 0:50
Speaker 1: kind of investigation? How come we didn't hear about somebody
• 0:54
Speaker 1: that was forging the president's name? Well, It's pretty simple, right?
• 1:00
Speaker 1: Because that letter was in fact sent by Donald Trump.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: And the fact that this has been thrown out now
• 1:05
Speaker 1: by two separate judges tells me everything I need to
• 1:09
Speaker 1: know about this lawsuit that was filed by Donald Trump.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: And if you needed any more proof or evidence that
• 1:16
Speaker 1: it was a bunch of BS, well, here it is.
• 1:20
Speaker 1: So in this episode, we're going to dive into an
• 1:22
Speaker 1: article from CNBC. And then later on, we'll be diving
• 1:26
Speaker 1: into the order itself. So first things first, let's dive
• 1:30
Speaker 1: into this article from CNBC. Headline, Trump defamation suit against Murdoch,
• 1:37
Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal over Epstein letter dismissed with prejudice. This
• 1:41
Speaker 1: article was authored by Michael Wayland and Dan Mangan. A
• 1:46
Speaker 1: federal judge in Miami on Saturday dismissed with prejudice President
• 1:50
Speaker 1: Donald Trump's amended defamation lawsuit against media baron Rupert Murdoch
• 1:55
Speaker 1: and the Wall Street Journal, over the newspaper's reporting on
• 1:59
Speaker 1: a purported 50th birthday letter from the president to notorious
• 2:03
Speaker 1: sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. District Court Judge Darren Gales ruled
• 2:09
Speaker 1: that Trump had again failed to plausibly allege that the
• 2:12
Speaker 1: newspaper and other defendants acted with actual malice when they
• 2:16
Speaker 1: published the story in July of 2025. For them to
• 2:20
Speaker 1: act in malice, the story would have to be fake,
• 2:23
Speaker 1: and I think it's quite obvious to anybody paying attention
• 2:26
Speaker 1: that this is not fake, that Donald Trump did in
• 2:29
Speaker 1: fact send this birthday card. And like I always tell you,
• 2:34
Speaker 1: if he is lying about this, what else is he
• 2:36
Speaker 1: lying about? As with his first attempt, he has failed,
• 2:42
Speaker 1: Gills wrote in the 20-page ruling, which came more than
• 2:45
Speaker 1: six months after he dismissed Trump's first version of the suit.
• 2:50
Speaker 1: Grasping at straws, the amended complaint attempts to manufacture flaws
• 2:54
Speaker 1: with the investigation. And of course it does. Loopholes, technicalities,
• 2:59
Speaker 1: and the rest of it. It's never on the merits, right?
• 3:03
Speaker 1: These guys are never trying to get these suits tossed
• 3:05
Speaker 1: out on the basic merits of them. They're getting them
• 3:09
Speaker 1: tossed out on loopholes and technicalities. And then these rotten
• 3:12
Speaker 1: sons of bitches have the audacity to act like that's
• 3:15
Speaker 1: some kind of big victory. You didn't win the case.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: You won on technicalities and loopholes. By dismissing the suit
• 3:26
Speaker 1: with prejudice, the judge blocked Trump from filing another suit
• 3:30
Speaker 1: alleging the same claims about Murdoch and the paper in
• 3:33
Speaker 1: federal court. So that's significant, right? The fact that he
• 3:37
Speaker 1: can't refile this claim in federal court is a big deal,
• 3:41
Speaker 1: especially considering how much Trump loves to sue. So you
• 3:45
Speaker 1: know that he was probably gearing up for another lawsuit
• 3:48
Speaker 1: when it comes to this issue as well. But the
• 3:51
Speaker 1: judge told him, listen, buddy, that's not going to happen.
• 3:54
Speaker 1: So take your claims and tell your story walking. That's
• 3:58
Speaker 1: basically what the judge told him. Gale said that the
• 4:00
Speaker 1: journal had conducted a thoughtful and detailed investigation, and he
• 4:05
Speaker 1: rejected Trump's argument that the newspaper should not have published
• 4:08
Speaker 1: the story after he denied writing the letter. Well, your
• 4:11
Speaker 1: denial's not good enough, buddy. Especially after you've been railing
• 4:14
Speaker 1: about the Epstein files for all these years, about holding
• 4:18
Speaker 1: people accountable, and then you pull this shit? So yeah.
• 4:23
Speaker 1: Breaking news, President Trump. Nobody buys your bullshit when we're
• 4:27
Speaker 1: talking about Epstein. The judge did not determine whether Trump
• 4:31
Speaker 1: actually authored the disputed letter. Trump is adamantly denied writing it. Well,
• 4:35
Speaker 1: like I said, the biggest tell for me is that
• 4:37
Speaker 1: there is no investigation by the Secret Service. Because if
• 4:41
Speaker 1: this was a real forgery, then the Secret Service would
• 4:44
Speaker 1: be all over it. And there would be a big-ass investigation,
• 4:48
Speaker 1: and we'd know about it. But since that never occurred...
• 4:52
Speaker 1: It leads me to believe that this is legit and
• 4:56
Speaker 1: old Donald Trumpino did write the birthday card. When Gales
• 5:03
Speaker 1: first dismissed the suit in April, he allowed Trump to
• 5:05
Speaker 1: file an amended version of the complaint to cure legal
• 5:09
Speaker 1: defects the judge had identified. So the judge was more
• 5:12
Speaker 1: than fair, gave Trump and his team the chance to
• 5:15
Speaker 1: go back and fix some things up, make some changes.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: fix their legalese, if you will. And still, after all
• 5:26
Speaker 1: of that, the judge decides to dismiss it with prejudice. Now,
• 5:31
Speaker 1: what does that tell you? I know what it tells me.
• 5:36
Speaker 1: Trump was seeking $ 10 billion in damages from Murdoch and
• 5:39
Speaker 1: the Journal, which is owned by Murdoch's News Corp. A
• 5:43
Speaker 1: spokesman for Trump's legal team confirmed to CNBC that the
• 5:46
Speaker 1: president plans to appeal the ruling. President Trump will continue
• 5:50
Speaker 1: to press forward in his powerhouse lawsuit against the Wall
• 5:53
Speaker 1: Street Journal and all of the other defendants, the spokesman
• 5:56
Speaker 1: said in a statement. The president will continue to hold
• 6:00
Speaker 1: those who mislead the American people with fake news and
• 6:03
Speaker 1: smears accountable for their actions. Well, why don't you start
• 6:06
Speaker 1: with yourself? I mean, the audacity of this dude talking
• 6:11
Speaker 1: like this. I've never seen anything like it. We've seen
• 6:15
Speaker 1: some brazen people in this country before running the show.
• 6:19
Speaker 1: But this takes the cake. This dude's literally telling you
• 6:23
Speaker 1: not to believe your own eyes. Just believe what I
• 6:26
Speaker 1: tell you. And that might work with, you know, the
• 6:30
Speaker 1: MAGA faithful. But the rest of us? We're not buying
• 6:33
Speaker 1: that shit, buddy. And if anything's a hoax, it's the
• 6:37
Speaker 1: narrative that's been put forward by Donald Trump. That's the
• 6:40
Speaker 1: real hoax. And the fact that he keeps running the
• 6:43
Speaker 1: app on the American people is just unbelievable. And at
• 6:46
Speaker 1: some point, those chickens are going to come home to roost.
• 6:50
Speaker 1: And come Wednesday, Donald Trump might be waking up to
• 6:53
Speaker 1: a whole ass different world. Gales, as he did when
• 6:58
Speaker 1: dismissing the suit for the first time, noted Trump, who
• 7:01
Speaker 1: has adamantly denied sending the letter to his then friend
• 7:04
Speaker 1: Epstein in 2003, had not plausibly alleged that the defendants
• 7:08
Speaker 1: published the article with actual malice. Again, that's because there
• 7:12
Speaker 1: was no malice. They were posting something that they believed
• 7:17
Speaker 1: is true, that they say they have evidence for. I mean,
• 7:20
Speaker 1: that's literally their job, isn't it? Like, isn't that what
• 7:24
Speaker 1: they're supposed to do? Like, what are they supposed to do?
• 7:27
Speaker 1: Not report the story because it's hurtful to Trump? What
• 7:30
Speaker 1: are we talking about, Sean Hannity here? Plaintiffs who are
• 7:35
Speaker 1: public figures like Trump must show a defendant acted with
• 7:39
Speaker 1: actual malice when making allegedly defamatory statements, according to Supreme
• 7:43
Speaker 1: Court decisions that Gales cited at the beginning of his ruling.
• 7:48
Speaker 1: Trump's amended lawsuit contained new details and claims, including that
• 7:52
Speaker 1: Murdoch told the president, I will handle it, during a
• 7:55
Speaker 1: phone conversation they had about the article describing a birthday
• 7:58
Speaker 1: letter to Epstein that allegedly bore Trump's signature, Newsweek previously reported.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: And I think that this really just puts it to bed.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: Because if anybody is out here thinking that Donald Trump
• 8:11
Speaker 1: didn't write this, then that person shouldn't be trusted. Whatever
• 8:16
Speaker 1: their motivations are, for lying and carrying water, that person,
• 8:21
Speaker 1: whoever it is, should not be trusted. Because if they're
• 8:24
Speaker 1: going to lie about something like this, you know where
• 8:27
Speaker 1: I'm going with that, right? What the fuck else are
• 8:29
Speaker 1: they lying to you about? Gales rejected each of Trump's
• 8:32
Speaker 1: arguments in the amended complaint, including that the journal did
• 8:36
Speaker 1: not adequately investigate the letter, omitted relevant details, and that
• 8:40
Speaker 1: the article was published after the president and his representatives
• 8:44
Speaker 1: denied it was authentic. Your denial means nothing. What kind
• 8:48
Speaker 1: of evidence do you have to back that shit up? Like,
• 8:51
Speaker 1: are these dudes brain dead? Nobody trusts you guys. Not
• 8:55
Speaker 1: for a second. Not for a minute. Ever again. And
• 8:59
Speaker 1: it's all self-inflicted. Another federal judge in Miami on October
• 9:06
Speaker 1: 22nd ordered Trump to sit for a deposition in his
• 9:10
Speaker 1: $ 10 billion defamation lawsuit against the BBC by December 11th.
• 9:15
Speaker 1: A sitting president sitting for a deposition, that's going to
• 9:19
Speaker 1: be fireworks. The Journal's article on July 17th, 2025, said
• 9:25
Speaker 1: a letter bearing Trump's signature was included in an album
• 9:28
Speaker 1: of letters Epstein was given for his 50th birthday. And
• 9:32
Speaker 1: that's indisputable. As far as the fact that Epstein did
• 9:35
Speaker 1: receive this, the only thing in dispute is what Donald
• 9:39
Speaker 1: Trump said or didn't say. And in my opinion, I
• 9:43
Speaker 1: think that Donald Trump most certainly wrote that message to
• 9:46
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. And I need to explain what he meant.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: The article said Trump sent letters at the request of
• 9:56
Speaker 1: Epstein's close friend, Glenn Maxwell, who to decade. later, was
• 10:01
Speaker 1: convicted of procuring underage girls to be sexually abused by
• 10:05
Speaker 1: Epstein and abusing them herself. Okay? Why do they always
• 10:09
Speaker 1: leave that part out? Like Ghislaine Maxwell was just some
• 10:12
Speaker 1: woman bringing girls to Jeffrey Epstein like she was Heidi Fleiss.
• 10:17
Speaker 1: That is not what occurred. The journal noted that the
• 10:22
Speaker 1: letter contained several lines of typewritten text framed by the
• 10:26
Speaker 1: outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn
• 10:29
Speaker 1: with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes
• 10:32
Speaker 1: the woman's breasts, and the future president's signature is a
• 10:35
Speaker 1: squiggly Donald below her waist, mimicking pubic hair. Journal reporter
• 10:40
Speaker 1: Khadija Safdar and Joe Palazzolo said in the article, The
• 10:45
Speaker 1: letter concludes Happy Birthday and may every day be another
• 10:49
Speaker 1: wonderful secret, they wrote. Like, what the fuck does that mean?
• 10:53
Speaker 1: Real talk. I want to know what he means by
• 10:59
Speaker 1: every day is another wonderful fucking secret. What do you
• 11:02
Speaker 1: mean by that, Mr. President? Trump angrily denied writing the
• 11:06
Speaker 1: letter saying this is not me. This is a fake thing.
• 11:09
  Speaker 1: I never wrote a picture in my life. I don't
• 11:11
Speaker 1: draw pictures of women, the president said at the time.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: Turns out to be another lie. Do doodles all the time.
• 11:19
Speaker 1: Have you seen some of the drawings? So even at
• 11:22
Speaker 1: the time, Donald Trump's story just didn't make sense. And
• 11:25
Speaker 1: I think that these rulings by these judges just cements it.
• 11:29
Speaker 1: So we'll see where Trump goes from here. You know,
• 11:32
Speaker 1: he's not just going to give up. He'll try and
• 11:34
Speaker 1: elevate it somewhere else where who knows. But the good
• 11:38
Speaker 1: news is we'll be here every step of the way.
• 11:41
