Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Thursday. That means
- 0:17Speaker 1: it's Pop and Bravo, and I've got my friends here.
- 0:21Speaker 1: It's Pat and Ruby from Bad TV, missing Dylan who
- 0:26Speaker 1: just had a baby. Ruby, you're a You're an aunt.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I am.
- 0:31Speaker 3: It feels wonderful to be an aunt and wonderful to
- 0:34Speaker 3: be here. How are you guys?
- 0:36Speaker 1: Great? When are you gonna just get to see the
- 0:38Speaker 1: little baby.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I will be going home in about like a week
- 0:42Speaker 3: or two, so Pat, I will see you then and
- 0:44Speaker 3: I will get to meet little Lucy.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I have a niece sing Lucy too.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I hope you like her, and if you don't, don't
- 0:51Speaker 3: say anything.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I like her. She's in her twenties now, so yeah, great.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:56Speaker 1: She was also fine as a child, so it's good.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It's it's gonna be fun having my co as a
- 1:00Speaker 2: father now. I think it may change the dynamic we'll see.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I think it may change his opinions on lots of things.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I hope it does, because Dylan can be a little harshly.
- 1:14Speaker 2: It will soften you, definitely. Fatherhood has softened me, so
- 1:17Speaker 2: hopefully has the same effect on him.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I'm so excited the pictures you guys posted of him
- 1:22Speaker 1: with a little I was like, oh my gosh, look
- 1:24Speaker 1: at Dylan being like a real dad. It's so cute.
- 1:28Speaker 3: He is apparently very CC has said his wife has
- 1:32Speaker 3: said that he's taking very naturally to it, which is
- 1:34Speaker 3: lovely because I, you know, we don't have a lot
- 1:36Speaker 3: of New Barton's in our family, so I'm very proud.
- 1:38Speaker 3: So I think he's doing really well.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Oh I'm so glad. Guys. Well, we are here to
- 1:43Speaker 1: chat about pop culture and Bravo and what I told
- 1:46Speaker 1: you guys. When you're like, let us know the pop
- 1:48Speaker 1: culture topics ahead of time, well, Pat said that. Ruby
- 1:51Speaker 1: said she didn't care the top The only pop culture
- 1:56Speaker 1: topic I have is the Karen re trial of which
- 1:58Speaker 1: is like literally on my phone right now on pause.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It's on pause because I just put it on and
- 2:03Speaker 1: then I just pause it and watch it throughout the day.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I usually finish up like eight o'clock at night. But yeah,
- 2:09Speaker 1: I know, Ruby, you're watching, like I am got thoughts.
- 2:13Speaker 3: This is something this like wait, I wake up in
- 2:15Speaker 3: the middle of the night to like go pee, and
- 2:17Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my god, I cannot believe this is happening. Again,
- 2:19Speaker 3: it's taken up so much of my headspace. I knew
- 2:24Speaker 3: that cops were cops, sure whatever, good and bad, just
- 2:28Speaker 3: like any other profession. Yeah, oh my lord, these people
- 2:32Speaker 3: are so unbelievably wild, and this the the trial, with
- 2:36Speaker 3: the reenactments, it feels like it's a an SNL spoof.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I think she's like a pretty unlikable person. I don't.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I don't think she she killed them, or let me
- 2:48Speaker 3: say this, if she did, there's so much reasonable about
- 2:51Speaker 3: I am not so that their job is done. What
- 2:53Speaker 3: do you think?
- 2:54Speaker 1: I agree? I think that I don't get her to
- 2:58Speaker 1: be as unlikable as everybody else does that just because
- 3:00Speaker 1: she has a sour puss face. You know, that's just her,
- 3:03Speaker 1: that's just her face. And so I think people think, oh, well,
- 3:05Speaker 1: she's a bitch because of that. And I think that
- 3:07Speaker 1: she was in a group of friends that are like
- 3:10Speaker 1: in their forties, just wildly drunk all the time. There's
- 3:15Speaker 1: drinking and driving and high fiving in a snowstorm in
- 3:19Speaker 1: a bar and just take your glass right out with you,
- 3:21Speaker 1: like wow. And it's just that part to me is
- 3:26Speaker 1: so crazy. And then the whole this cop, that cop,
- 3:32Speaker 1: this cop, this investigator. And then this past week we
- 3:34Speaker 1: had the girl get on the stand that was a
- 3:36Speaker 1: police officer who testified to the FBI that the guys
- 3:39Speaker 1: were in the sally Port with the car for a
- 3:41Speaker 1: weirdly long time. She's retracted her statement from the FBI
- 3:47Speaker 1: said it was a false memory.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Huh, it's like the Departed, it's in saane. And then
- 3:53Speaker 3: the even the first trial when they showed the people
- 3:57Speaker 3: saying that when they were getting questioned by her lawyers
- 4:00Speaker 3: and they were like, I can't recall, and they would
- 4:03Speaker 3: like play the audio of them having a phone call
- 4:05Speaker 3: and they were like, I don't know. We butt dialed
- 4:07Speaker 3: each other thirty three times, back and forth. They're like, oh, wild,
- 4:10Speaker 3: that's crazy.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so many things much, so much reasonable.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Emp forgive me if I'm reading this wrong or ruby,
- 4:17Speaker 2: are you guys conceding that she still may have quite
- 4:20Speaker 2: possibly backed into him that night, But because there's so
- 4:24Speaker 2: much reasonable do that you think she'll get off. But
- 4:28Speaker 2: in your heart you believe that she may have done it.
- 4:30Speaker 1: No, in my heart, I don't know if she did it.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Something happened and I don't know if she's like you're
- 4:36Speaker 1: a dick and sped off, and he was standing there
- 4:39Speaker 1: on the driveway and like threw his glass at her
- 4:41Speaker 1: and Dulul and like fell over because they were so
- 4:45Speaker 1: shit faced and everybody was so shit faced. But I
- 4:48Speaker 1: also think very easily he could have gone in the house,
- 4:52Speaker 1: had a wicked argument with somebody and came out and
- 4:57Speaker 1: fell in the yard, or they dragged it into the yard.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Can I push back on that theory for a second,
- 5:03Speaker 2: because there's an old saying that says a secret can
- 5:06Speaker 2: only be kept if two people know the secret and
- 5:09Speaker 2: one of them's dead. For in Devil's Advocate. Here, your
- 5:15Speaker 2: audience may come at me. I've been a passive kind
- 5:17Speaker 2: of viewer. I've watched the documentaries, but I'm of course
- 5:20Speaker 2: not in the weeds like you guys are. But there
- 5:23Speaker 2: are multiple people at that house, multiple people with spouses
- 5:26Speaker 2: or girlfriends or boyfriends. It just feels like they would
- 5:29Speaker 2: have all had to stay on the same page for
- 5:33Speaker 2: all this time and not and not crack and all
- 5:36Speaker 2: be part of it. That's the stumbling block I have.
- 5:40Speaker 2: My opinion is there's a word for it, and I
- 5:42Speaker 2: should should have thought found it boy. But sometimes the
- 5:46Speaker 2: most probable thing that happened is what happened. Yeah, they
- 5:50Speaker 2: were clearly arguing that night she was texting that other
- 5:53Speaker 2: police officer or investigator or FBI guy, and so they're
- 5:58Speaker 2: not on good footing that everyone drunk. She may have
- 6:02Speaker 2: backed the car into him. He falls down, He is
- 6:06Speaker 2: not you know, he's not lucid, he's you know, he's injured.
- 6:09Speaker 2: And then he finds his way to that pile of
- 6:11Speaker 2: snow about what was it twenty feet away from the
- 6:14Speaker 2: road and uh. And that's that's how I see it happening.
- 6:18Speaker 2: And then when she goes home and sleeps, I don't
- 6:19Speaker 2: think she meant to kill him. Your audience is probably
- 6:22Speaker 2: pulling their hair out, like what no.
- 6:24Speaker 1: No, no, no, no no, I'm following.
- 6:27Speaker 2: But asking as a passive listener or a viewer of
- 6:31Speaker 2: this case, that is kind of what I see, Like, okay,
- 6:35Speaker 2: so the dirty cop thing, totally get it? Thin? What
- 6:38Speaker 2: is it? The thin blue line? I think by the way,
- 6:42Speaker 2: they have in fact created reasonable doubt. You have separate
- 6:46Speaker 2: incidents of people destroying communication devices i e. Phones or
- 6:52Speaker 2: whatever as you do, bizarre They have not explained away
- 6:56Speaker 2: the multiple butt dials in the middle of the night. Yeah, okay,
- 7:02Speaker 2: And I do think they explained away the Google search
- 7:06Speaker 2: in the morning with the screen being open. I've been
- 7:09Speaker 2: no help me with.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I don't think so who can explain it she was
- 7:14Speaker 3: I she doesn't recall nobody. There's no way to explain that.
- 7:17Speaker 3: You're referring to Awkham's razor. I think which is the
- 7:19Speaker 3: like you're the most likely is whatever. I think that
- 7:24Speaker 3: he went in that house, they got into a fight.
- 7:26Speaker 3: That dog tried to break the fight up, which is
- 7:28Speaker 3: why the dog has now disappeared, and why all the
- 7:31Speaker 3: pig stuff was there in the first case. This judge, boy,
- 7:34Speaker 3: oh boy, what a wild person to have on this case.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Also crazy that they keep the same one. I feel
- 7:39Speaker 3: like they should have to Yeah, I agree right at
- 7:43Speaker 3: the justice system they should change that. I pad I
- 7:46Speaker 3: think you're wrong. I in my heart of hearts, I
- 7:49Speaker 3: think it's like a sixty forty. I do not think
- 7:51Speaker 3: that she killed him. I think that they were all
- 7:53Speaker 3: so fucked up. I could see him going into that house.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I agree with you. The likelihood that like eight people
- 8:00Speaker 3: keep their mouths shut they inspire together is so so,
- 8:03Speaker 3: so so low. The only thing that would increase it
- 8:06Speaker 3: to be more than likely would be if half of
- 8:10Speaker 3: those were cops and the other half of them were
- 8:12Speaker 3: their wives, you know, yep, yeah, I.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Don't know, And I don't think it's that many people.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I think it's just a couple of people that knew
- 8:19Speaker 1: it and the rest are being told this other story
- 8:21Speaker 1: and they're like, that's what they said, that happened, that's
- 8:23Speaker 1: what happened. I don't think that everybody. I don't think
- 8:25Speaker 1: all like eight people know what happened. I think just
- 8:27Speaker 1: a couple of them do. I think that they're like,
- 8:31Speaker 1: this is what you're telling me would happen. I don't
- 8:32Speaker 1: want to know anything else. And I'm going with this thing.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But like the Jim McCabe, you know, lied to the FBI,
- 8:39Speaker 1: that we get this girl this week that lied to
- 8:40Speaker 1: the FBI, I'm like so many people just lying to
- 8:43Speaker 1: the FBI and the whole Like I know, I'm being subpoened.
- 8:46Speaker 1: In this case. I'm a police officer. So I'm going
- 8:48Speaker 1: to go to a military base, tear my phone into
- 8:50Speaker 1: three pieces and throw it into four different trash cans
- 8:53Speaker 1: because my plan was up. So it's time for me
- 8:55Speaker 1: to get a new phone. As you do, as you do,
- 8:58Speaker 1: like listen, I got I got one more month on
- 9:01Speaker 1: this plan. So I'm going to go to a military base,
- 9:03Speaker 1: tear my phone apart but into six dumpsters, and go
- 9:06Speaker 1: to Verizon and be like, hey, give me a new phone,
- 9:08Speaker 1: Like what good cop?
- 9:09Speaker 2: Bad cop? Here? I'm going to need a bad cop.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Okay, let's so that not.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Be explained away. A lot of people have things on
- 9:16Speaker 2: their phones that they don't want to be seen by outsiders,
- 9:20Speaker 2: and knowing that now there's an active investigation and someone's
- 9:24Speaker 2: going to be looking in your phone and it has
- 9:25Speaker 2: nothing to do with the case that they're looking into,
- 9:28Speaker 2: but rather searches on the internet. Perhaps some materials that
- 9:33Speaker 2: are won't paint you in a good light. Is it
- 9:37Speaker 2: possible that he destroyed his phone because there's nude pictures
- 9:40Speaker 2: of his girlfriend that he has in another city. I'm
- 9:43Speaker 2: just explaining away other possibilities why this person would do.
- 9:46Speaker 3: It one hundred percent. I mean, Blake Lively just did
- 9:49Speaker 3: this like this week because she was like, listen, I
- 9:51Speaker 3: don't want my family and missed up being looked into
- 9:54Speaker 3: and revealed. And if I go forward with this everything
- 9:56Speaker 3: is on the table. Can't risk it. I understand it. Also, though, No,
- 10:01Speaker 3: I just think it's too shady, and even if you
- 10:03Speaker 3: are trying to hide, like if it was as terrible
- 10:05Speaker 3: as like God forbid, like child pornography or something, he's
- 10:08Speaker 3: a cop like wipe bit or you get I don't know,
- 10:11Speaker 3: I just or like get a be a better, better
- 10:15Speaker 3: bad cop too, like get a burner or something. It's
- 10:18Speaker 3: just just.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Ye for both of you. So, Karen Reid, generally, in
- 10:22Speaker 2: cases like this, we will go back in their history,
- 10:25Speaker 2: their dating history. Have they gone back to Karen Reid's
- 10:29Speaker 2: dating history with past boyfriends whatever to see any kind
- 10:35Speaker 2: of behavior of aggression.
- 10:39Speaker 1: No, So that means there's not any Yeah, yeah, or
- 10:42Speaker 1: they would have brought that up.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I think, you know, as I watch it every day
- 10:48Speaker 1: and I'm just like wow, Like you know when they
- 10:50Speaker 1: brought up the DNA a couple of days ago, and
- 10:52Speaker 1: they were like, immediate, we're going to call for a
- 10:55Speaker 1: mistrial with prejudice because the DNA has not been intered
- 10:57Speaker 1: into evidence and they just entered.
- 10:59Speaker 2: It in and you're referring to the dog DNA.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Yes, they brought in the dog DNA, but it hadn't
- 11:08Speaker 1: been turned into evidence, which means they're not allowed to
- 11:10Speaker 1: bring it up. But then the prosecution brought it up
- 11:14Speaker 1: across on the defense witness and they were like, immediate mistrial,
- 11:17Speaker 1: immediate mistrial, but mistrial with prejudice, which means it can't
- 11:20Speaker 1: be tried again because, like Emily D. Baker said, she goes,
- 11:23Speaker 1: they don't want a mistrial because then they got to
- 11:26Speaker 1: do it a fucking third time. Well, actually, no, you
- 11:29Speaker 1: don't just be like there's so much reasonable doubt here
- 11:33Speaker 1: that eh. But listen, my fear is is that she
- 11:37Speaker 1: is going to get convicted and then it's just going
- 11:41Speaker 1: to be on appeals for the next twenty years and
- 11:43Speaker 1: then she'll get out and then the you know, say,
- 11:45Speaker 1: the masters just will have to pay her like forty
- 11:47Speaker 1: million dollars. I mean, just like the guy died is terrible.
- 11:51Speaker 1: It was a drunken accident, no matter what. Did somebody
- 11:55Speaker 1: hit him because they were drunk. Did he get mad
- 11:57Speaker 1: and slip in the snow and throw his drink at
- 11:59Speaker 1: the car because he is drunk. Did she back her
- 12:01Speaker 1: car and also there's not any way that other witness
- 12:04Speaker 1: came on and said that the car went twenty four
- 12:07Speaker 1: miles per hour backwards for eighty seven feet.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Oh that's crazy.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Eighty seven feet would have literally hit the house you
- 12:14Speaker 1: behind them. Like, so they're like, okay, probably because the
- 12:17Speaker 1: time stamp was off, that was when they backed it
- 12:20Speaker 1: up to go in the truck. Oh no, no, no, no,
- 12:22Speaker 1: this was when this was you know, that night. And
- 12:25Speaker 1: they're like, oh, seems like it was the wrong day.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I mean, it's like it's crazy, it's crazy. There's so
- 12:30Speaker 1: reasonable doubt.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I have a I think there's plenty of reasonable doubt.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I mean, the second cops process evidence improperly, the second
- 12:40Speaker 2: there's again's like destroying devices. Yeah, like that, that's your
- 12:45Speaker 2: reasonable doubt. The question is does she get found not guilty.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Here's my theory on this. I think it's going to
- 12:52Speaker 2: be another hung jury. And I think this is where
- 12:55Speaker 2: the prosecution and defense are going to sit down in
- 12:57Speaker 2: a room and they're going to work something out. And
- 13:00Speaker 2: you know, and I feel bad for people that aren't
- 13:03Speaker 2: guilty that get pushed into these corners where look where
- 13:06Speaker 2: the government, where the state. We have endless resources to
- 13:09Speaker 2: retry you over and over until we get our final result.
- 13:12Speaker 2: And you know, as popular as she is, and I
- 13:14Speaker 2: understand she you know, her lawyers are working on contingency
- 13:17Speaker 2: or whatever. But not contingently, but there they at some
- 13:22Speaker 2: point can break you to the point where you'll go,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I'll do involuntary manslaughter and you know, six months in
- 13:29Speaker 2: jail and then she you know, and then she can
- 13:32Speaker 2: come out and have her life and then she'll always
- 13:34Speaker 2: have her you know, believers or whatnot. I think that
- 13:38Speaker 2: is the more likely outcome.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I hope that, Yeah, I really hope not, because I
- 13:44Speaker 3: do not think that's what she deserves. I do think, pathough,
- 13:48Speaker 3: that in a town that small, a jury of like
- 13:51Speaker 3: what twelve people, that it's not even that you're scared
- 13:54Speaker 3: necessarily that they're going to kill you or anything. But
- 13:56Speaker 3: it's like your kid doesn't get on Little League teams anymore.
- 14:00Speaker 2: You.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I think it's you know, it's that type of community
- 14:04Speaker 3: stuff that makes people scared, you know, to convict or
- 14:07Speaker 3: knocking victor, you know, And that's the reason I think
- 14:10Speaker 3: you might be right about the hung jury. But I
- 14:12Speaker 3: just hope, I don't know, just leave her alone. Like
- 14:14Speaker 3: what if we just put this to bed, say it
- 14:15Speaker 3: was a horrible accident, absolute tragedy. Stop drinking and driving,
- 14:19Speaker 3: you nutjobs, and let's just go to sleep and not
- 14:22Speaker 3: do this again.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Now, Ruby I'm going to push back against you on
- 14:25Speaker 2: that and feel free to be the judge.
- 14:27Speaker 3: MP.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Okay, right, the roles were reversed, and it was him
- 14:32Speaker 2: in that car and it was her out in the
- 14:34Speaker 2: snow bleeding, and we don't know everything is exactly the same.
- 14:39Speaker 2: She was the cop, he was just the boyfriend that
- 14:42Speaker 2: was an instructor in a college. Do we just say, hey,
- 14:46Speaker 2: let her off? I mean, that's not how the system works.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's the same if it's if it's
- 14:55Speaker 1: a man that hit a if he may bumped her
- 14:59Speaker 1: or didn't, or she went in the house and had
- 15:01Speaker 1: a fight with the lady and came out and the
- 15:03Speaker 1: fell in the snow, like, you still can't prove the
- 15:06Speaker 1: person driving the car hit the other person the end,
- 15:10Speaker 1: and they have all these people coming on going yeah,
- 15:12Speaker 1: it's not consistent with an accident. It's not consistent that
- 15:15Speaker 1: the car even had an accident. There's no collision noted
- 15:18Speaker 1: in the car. The wounds aren't consistent with being hit.
- 15:21Speaker 1: It's like, the whole point we're trying here is that
- 15:23Speaker 1: she hit him with her car and killed him. But
- 15:25Speaker 1: they can't even prove that he was killed by a car, right.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Now you know is absolutely here. Whether or not twelve
- 15:32Speaker 2: people agree on that is the I guess is the question. Yeah,
- 15:38Speaker 2: you know, a quick story. I don't even know why
- 15:40Speaker 2: I'm bringing this up, but I'm from Massachusetts and they
- 15:43Speaker 2: are pretty lenient in the justice system. I have a
- 15:48Speaker 2: kid I went to high school with that was a
- 15:50Speaker 2: good friend. We split apart because he did some questionable
- 15:54Speaker 2: stuff in high school, like I just didn't want to
- 15:57Speaker 2: be part of it anymore. Twenty years later, I get
- 15:59Speaker 2: a call from one of our mutual friends and he'd
- 16:02Speaker 2: stabbed stabbed his girlfriend to death in the shower, walked
- 16:07Speaker 2: out on the sidewalk. Police The police were coming because
- 16:09Speaker 2: neighbors heard it. He basically just said.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I killed her wool Oh my god.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So we're all kind of talking about it. He does
- 16:18Speaker 2: nine years for that brutal killing. He reaches out to
- 16:22Speaker 2: me on Facebook to be my friend and h block
- 16:26Speaker 2: block and he did it to multiple people because we
- 16:29Speaker 2: and we knew the girl too. And I'm sorry for
- 16:32Speaker 2: bringing this up. I was kind of just initially when
- 16:34Speaker 2: I had thought I might bring this up, it was
- 16:35Speaker 2: kind of to do with the justice system in Massachusetts
- 16:38Speaker 2: and them being very lenient which I would have connected
- 16:41Speaker 2: to even if she did kill the guy. It's I
- 16:44Speaker 2: think it's unlikely that she'd serve even more than two years.
- 16:47Speaker 2: But anyway, just.
- 16:49Speaker 3: And to be a little bit more morbid, that's absolutely horrible. Pat,
- 16:52Speaker 3: I'm going to breeze right over it. I don't think
- 16:55Speaker 3: that she will make it out of jail if she
- 16:58Speaker 3: goes to jail, because she's a quote unquote like cop killer,
- 17:00Speaker 3: you know, so I don't know that she comes out,
- 17:03Speaker 3: which is another reason why I'm like, whoa, if she
- 17:05Speaker 3: didn't do this, she really shouldn't be in there.
- 17:07Speaker 2: You know. Well, here's this.
- 17:08Speaker 1: It seems like the people in jail would like a
- 17:10Speaker 1: cop killer. Would the big guards not kill her? Do
- 17:14Speaker 1: guards like cops or do guards hate cops?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Are guards? I think they all get along. They all
- 17:21Speaker 2: just want their pension and retire at forty five.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's another people people keep thinking that Brian Higgins
- 17:26Speaker 1: will be the one. If anybody's going to flip in
- 17:28Speaker 1: this case, if they're all you know, colluding, then it
- 17:30Speaker 1: would be Brian Higgins because he's the he's closest to
- 17:33Speaker 1: getting his pension, and like former trooper Michael Proctor, you know,
- 17:38Speaker 1: let me let me tell you this. This is interesting. Okay.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So last week I had on Christine and Stacey. They
- 17:44Speaker 1: are from Keenan Lake and give you deja vu. They
- 17:47Speaker 1: were this child stars of Step by Step. Okay, and
- 17:51Speaker 1: Stacy is Stacy Keenan is a LA prosecutor. Now okay.
- 17:57Speaker 1: She I was asking her about this and she said,
- 18:00Speaker 1: as a prosecutor herself, if her lead investigator got kicked
- 18:06Speaker 1: off the police force for this case, she would never
- 18:11Speaker 1: try it again. She goes, the lead investigator is gone.
- 18:14Speaker 1: We don't have the lead investigator. And he didn't get
- 18:16Speaker 1: kicked off because the child porn or he beat his wife.
- 18:20Speaker 1: He got kicked off because his behavior on this case.
- 18:23Speaker 2: And referring to and I sure I assume your audience
- 18:26Speaker 2: knows this case backwards and forwards. That lead detective was
- 18:29Speaker 2: texting disgusting things to his co workers about are their
- 18:33Speaker 2: naked pictures of Karen Reid his high.
- 18:35Speaker 1: School friends, high school friend not as co workers, high
- 18:37Speaker 1: school friends. They showed the group text of like thirty people.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It's sort of like on the Valley, the thirty guys,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and they're all from high school and they've all got nicknames.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Look that's Chip, that's Whitey, that's so and so, and
- 18:48Speaker 1: they're all texting, and he's in this group text with
- 18:51Speaker 1: thirty high school friends, not cops, discussing the case.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Get this, My wife lived her boyfriend before me was
- 18:59Speaker 2: a cop. She told me the things that they would
- 19:03Speaker 2: share photos. So you go to a traffic accident, someone's dead,
- 19:06Speaker 2: they take a picture of it and they send it
- 19:09Speaker 2: coworkers another one. You know. I try and find a
- 19:14Speaker 2: balance because, as Ruby pointed out the top of the show,
- 19:17Speaker 2: every huge system has good and bad people. So I'm
- 19:21Speaker 2: not saying this to paint them in a bad light.
- 19:23Speaker 2: But her boyfriend told her that definitely, if they got
- 19:27Speaker 2: out of a car that they've been chasing and the
- 19:29Speaker 2: person had punched a cop or something, they would go
- 19:32Speaker 2: under a tree and beat the living s out of
- 19:35Speaker 2: that guy, you know, where the helicopters can't see. You
- 19:38Speaker 2: know that stuff happens.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Oh oh oh, I'm sure so.
- 19:45Speaker 2: And by the way, I'm so like insecure about your audience. Hey,
- 19:48Speaker 2: to me, look, do you want to hear three people
- 19:50Speaker 2: all agreeing on the same facts of a case, or
- 19:52Speaker 2: do you want at least an outside opinion of what
- 19:55Speaker 2: others may be thinking. I want to say this. We
- 19:57Speaker 2: all follow true crime and if you watch enough date lines,
- 20:01Speaker 2: the jurors these days, they really needed to be like
- 20:05Speaker 2: wrapped up in a box for them to make a decision,
- 20:08Speaker 2: either guilty or not guilty. They actually, you know, in
- 20:11Speaker 2: order to find Karen Read completely guilty, they would have
- 20:14Speaker 2: need to have seen video footage from one of the
- 20:16Speaker 2: houses of her running that guy over. Yeah, but anyway.
- 20:21Speaker 1: There's not any because just strangely, all the ring cameras
- 20:24Speaker 1: were all that that is was deleted. It's weird, so weird,
- 20:28Speaker 1: it's so weird. It's just all the cops on that street,
- 20:31Speaker 1: just all their ring video just it's all gone. I
- 20:34Speaker 1: posted a great video of myself yesterday from my ring camera.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Anybody wants to see me chasing after my dogs. They
- 20:43Speaker 1: were nicely sitting on the front, you know, the front sidewalk,
- 20:46Speaker 1: just nicely, and we were just enjoying the seventy degree weather,
- 20:49Speaker 1: just sitting outside, no humidity, lovely. I was listening to
- 20:52Speaker 1: a podcast. They were just they like to just go
- 20:54Speaker 1: outside and stare. So we're just staring. And we live
- 20:57Speaker 1: at the top of a hill on a cul de sac.
- 20:59Speaker 1: So nobody never had a trick or treator ever. Nobody
- 21:02Speaker 1: comes up except for yesterday, a couple walking their dog
- 21:07Speaker 1: nicely decided for some reason to come up a hill
- 21:09Speaker 1: to a cul de sack to walk their dog. And
- 21:11Speaker 1: when they did, they got my two mini golden doodles
- 21:14Speaker 1: seventeen and twenty two pounds respectively, just went full fucking kujo.
- 21:20Speaker 1: They ran up my walk into the street. I was like,
- 21:24Speaker 1: oh God. Now I'm sitting there like in birkenstocks and
- 21:27Speaker 1: like pajama bottoms, probably in this same shirt. I'm trying
- 21:32Speaker 1: to like run without breaking my neck. I was like,
- 21:35Speaker 1: oh God, and you could just hear me screaming, going
- 21:37Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Sorry aging everyone.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Okay, everybody's fine. The lady, literally I think the husband
- 21:46Speaker 1: grabbed their dog, which was like kind of a large
- 21:48Speaker 1: looking beagle. I don't know what kind of dog. It
- 21:49Speaker 1: was not a big dog, and then she grabbed my
- 21:53Speaker 1: dog's too, leasism, which just had them to the side
- 21:55Speaker 1: like this and my dog's like like by the way.
- 21:59Speaker 1: All they wanted to do was like say hi, of course,
- 22:02Speaker 1: and they wanted to say hi to the people. They
- 22:03Speaker 1: don't give a shit about other dogs. They want the
- 22:05Speaker 1: people to love them.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Oh.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I was so embarrassed. I was like, you sit down,
- 22:10Speaker 1: you bad girls. And they're just like they're like, well,
- 22:13Speaker 1: we're city, where's our trees. I was like, fuck off,
- 22:15Speaker 1: no treats for you, get back in the house. I
- 22:18Speaker 1: was like, as I'm walking up, you could hear it
- 22:20Speaker 1: on the ring.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Care go.
- 22:21Speaker 1: You ruined it. You ruined it for everybody. We were
- 22:23Speaker 1: out here trying to have a nice night. You ruined it.
- 22:25Speaker 1: No more outside for you. Let's go.
- 22:27Speaker 3: And they're just like a shamed.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm waiting for my daughter to see I sent
- 22:33Speaker 1: the video like in our family group chatmay I'm ready
- 22:35Speaker 1: for her to just read me for filth, like you
- 22:37Speaker 1: should have never not had hold of their leashes. But
- 22:40Speaker 1: I was like, they're just sitting there. They're just like
- 22:43Speaker 1: to look. They liked every so often they might bark
- 22:45Speaker 1: at a bird, but that's it. But no, no more,
- 22:48Speaker 1: no more fun for them. They're ruined it for everybody.
- 22:49Speaker 1: So ring cameras, it's it's easy to find it. It
- 22:52Speaker 1: just found it on my phone, downloaded it, send it
- 22:54Speaker 1: to my family. It took like four seconds. So everybody else.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Not like everybody in that neighborhood.
- 22:59Speaker 1: No, everybody neighborhead said, Nope, we wipe it every morning clean.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Also when dogs they just disappear in the middle of
- 23:05Speaker 1: the night.
- 23:06Speaker 2: No, has that not been explained at all? Nope, he
- 23:10Speaker 2: can't track that dog down.
- 23:12Speaker 1: The dog left that night. The dog left that night,
- 23:16Speaker 1: that night. They never saw the dog again after that night,
- 23:20Speaker 1: which she went in the next morning to wake up
- 23:21Speaker 1: her sister to be like, hey, there's a dead cop
- 23:23Speaker 1: on your lawn, which, by the way, they never noticed.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Dog's not there. Front door wide open. Dog is gone.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Look, there's more reasonable doubt than the Colombian cartel colluded with.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I'll tell you that right now.
- 23:36Speaker 1: So, oh my god. So before we got on here,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I went to send Pat a text because I had
- 23:45Speaker 1: the wrong link whatever whatever. So I went to send
- 23:47Speaker 1: Pat a text. Pat. The last text on our group
- 23:51Speaker 1: just me and you, not a group me and you,
- 23:53Speaker 1: was you telling me the story about when you worked
- 23:55Speaker 1: at a recording studio and saw snoop dogg engaged in
- 24:01Speaker 1: acts with young ladies like on a conference table, a
- 24:05Speaker 1: pool table, oh, pool table, Okay's he'd switched over.
- 24:09Speaker 2: To no Limit records at that time because there was
- 24:12Speaker 2: a lot of problems with death Row. They weren't paying bills,
- 24:14Speaker 2: so we switched labels, so under a new label. Yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 2: he was in the studio making a record for them,
- 24:19Speaker 2: and yeah, I look working in that studio, which ended
- 24:22Speaker 2: up being almost completely I wanted to be in the
- 24:24Speaker 2: rock business. I wanted to like take part of being
- 24:27Speaker 2: in a recording serial where like great albums like led
- 24:29Speaker 2: Zeppelig Records. Yeah, and the studio because of the type
- 24:33Speaker 2: of soundboard they had, it attracted hip hop because that
- 24:36Speaker 2: worked for that type of soundscape that they were creating.
- 24:38Speaker 2: So we had two recording studios in the building and
- 24:41Speaker 2: it just essentially when I first got there, it was
- 24:44Speaker 2: death Row Records. They would buy the place out for
- 24:46Speaker 2: a month and it would just turn into recording slash
- 24:49Speaker 2: party spot and I was I started as a food runner,
- 24:53Speaker 2: so basically my job was just to be a gopher
- 24:55Speaker 2: for the artists and the talent. And yeah, I saw crazy,
- 25:00Speaker 2: crazy stuff, all the characters. P Diddy.
- 25:04Speaker 1: No, I think I originally asked you about Diddy and
- 25:06Speaker 1: You're like, no, but I do have a Snoop Dogg story.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, No, I just you know, because he's
- 25:10Speaker 2: I don't know if you watched that reality show. Oh
- 25:14Speaker 2: you know, can I get can Snoop Doggs sue me
- 25:16Speaker 2: for saying things that do I have to say allegedly
- 25:18Speaker 2: before everything?
- 25:19Speaker 1: I think you should say allegedly, but you could say
- 25:21Speaker 1: this is what I saw with my own eyes, but
- 25:23Speaker 1: allegedly this is what happened.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Yeah, they are there there. I mean, look, there were
- 25:29Speaker 2: rock stars, rap stars whatever, and so rap stars have
- 25:32Speaker 2: a bunch of girls come back from the club and party.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And I used to be like, I can't believe they're paying.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I mean, this is twenty somewhdd years ago, twenty five
- 25:40Speaker 2: hundred dollars a night for this studio, and it would
- 25:43Speaker 2: essentially just be a hangout, like there was no recording
- 25:46Speaker 2: actually being done. But very early on and I got
- 25:50Speaker 2: to talk to Suge Night because he called to talk
- 25:52Speaker 2: to Snoop and I'd patch him into the studio, and
- 25:56Speaker 2: I remember it was his secretary goes Shug for Snoop,
- 25:59Speaker 2: and I go, oh, hold on, and I put him
- 26:01Speaker 2: on hold. Switch over to the room, and I could
- 26:03Speaker 2: hear sug Knight breathing because he's such a big, menacing guy,
- 26:08Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh my god. And so they had
- 26:11Speaker 2: a sound engineer, this white dude, and which was odd
- 26:15Speaker 2: because he was the only white person allowed in that circle.
- 26:19Speaker 2: And when we'd have lunch or whatever, would be the
- 26:21Speaker 2: middle of the night, he'd starts telling stories about how
- 26:23Speaker 2: like Sug allegedly he like would be at a party
- 26:27Speaker 2: in Sugar would order two guys to get choked out
- 26:29Speaker 2: and strangled to death and then make them disappear. And
- 26:32Speaker 2: he was telling me stor.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Years ago.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean Sugar's in jail, so yeah.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, everyone else. By the way, what's he jail for.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I can't remember.
- 26:45Speaker 2: He suld during the filming or there was an event
- 26:48Speaker 2: for boys in the hood for the film. Showed up
- 26:52Speaker 2: there and there were some guys outside and there was
- 26:54Speaker 2: a squabble. Sug Knight attempts to drive off and actually
- 26:58Speaker 2: runs over a guy and kills him.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I love it that he just called it a squabble.
- 27:04Speaker 1: These two gentlemen had a squabble in the street. One
- 27:07Speaker 1: slept the other with a glove, and then somebody died. Yes, oh, Patrick,
- 27:12Speaker 1: you know that's listen. That's fascinating, it's fascinating.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Allegedly, it was an entertaining time. I mean, I remember
- 27:20Speaker 2: when Snoop Dogg I was such a square. That's an
- 27:22Speaker 2: old timey phrase for saying I was lame dog. Basically
- 27:26Speaker 2: at the height of his career. He's smoking a joint
- 27:28Speaker 2: in the middle of our kitchen. I walked by him
- 27:30Speaker 2: and he handed it to me, and I said, no, I'm.
- 27:32Speaker 1: God that you missed an opportunity. I did smoke you,
- 27:38Speaker 1: a Snoop.
- 27:39Speaker 2: But I have to tell you, when P Diddy first
- 27:41Speaker 2: started coming to that studio, I was so impressed with
- 27:44Speaker 2: him because like he was, you know, obviously older than me,
- 27:47Speaker 2: but I looked at him as almost like, Wow, if
- 27:49Speaker 2: he's that young, he can do all this. Yeah, he's
- 27:52Speaker 2: extremely polite and gracious. Wow. And but oh my god,
- 27:59Speaker 2: he was the first like rock star like seeing it
- 28:02Speaker 2: how you'd think it would be because everybody else, like
- 28:05Speaker 2: rock stars would walk in the studio all the time,
- 28:07Speaker 2: and it was like it wasn't a big deal. Like
- 28:09Speaker 2: they didn't have like a rider, like you'd hear all
- 28:11Speaker 2: these things. Yeah, Oop Dog would come to the studio.
- 28:14Speaker 2: There was a personal chef there, there were bodyguards, there
- 28:18Speaker 2: were you know, they brought their animals, Like it was crazy.
- 28:22Speaker 1: But anyway, Yeah, I would like to hear other rock
- 28:24Speaker 1: stars that came to that studio.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Let's see, I'm trying to think of some fun Okay,
- 28:30Speaker 2: Oh boy, this is okay. Stacey Ferguson Furglicious. She was
- 28:36Speaker 2: in a group called God. They were recording their album
- 28:42Speaker 2: Well that's she joined them after Wild Orchid Okay, and
- 28:46Speaker 2: she was a wild child Ferglish Stacy Ferguson.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I do believe she's admitted to a meth problem that.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Was that was evident during that time period. Because she
- 28:56Speaker 2: does a video and if like your audience, she did
- 28:58Speaker 2: that song Glamorous. Yeah, in the video she drives a
- 29:03Speaker 2: white Mustang in that music video, okay, and it's like
- 29:06Speaker 2: she's reminiscing about the past. I used to walk into
- 29:10Speaker 2: the studio like at nine in the morning, and I'd
- 29:12Speaker 2: walk past that white Mustang and it would have a
- 29:15Speaker 2: new like dent in the side of it.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Oh, was she just wid Was she actually wild and
- 29:24Speaker 3: crazy inside? Or did you just see very.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Very disciplined inside? But uh, but a wild child she was.
- 29:32Speaker 2: She was having fun with her her fame.
- 29:35Speaker 1: She was just knock going to be people over, like
- 29:36Speaker 1: Karon Reid that's right, that's right. No, that's terrible. Okay,
- 29:41Speaker 1: let's talk about what you guys are watching and what
- 29:44Speaker 1: you're covering over there, Like I know that you you know,
- 29:48Speaker 1: you're covering always, you're covering all the Blowdeck situation.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, the blow Deck is our number one show.
- 29:53Speaker 1: A blow decks. You've got another Blowdeck podcast. And then
- 29:56Speaker 1: also you talk about Summerhouse, you know, I just I
- 29:59Speaker 1: know it's a detriment against me, but I don't watch Summerhouse.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I totally get it. I would probably just passively watch
- 30:05Speaker 2: it if we weren't covering it and had listeners that
- 30:07Speaker 2: really wanted us to cover it. I mean, it's Seinfeld
- 30:10Speaker 2: was always dubbed a show about nothing. Summer House is
- 30:14Speaker 2: really a show about nothing.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, But like, do you think in your forties
- 30:20Speaker 1: you're still in a sharehouse?
- 30:22Speaker 3: You know what I mean? No, No, we don't. And
- 30:25Speaker 3: more concerning than that is that there are people in
- 30:28Speaker 3: their forties in said sharehouse that want to do things
- 30:30Speaker 3: like put their life savings into a New York City
- 30:33Speaker 3: brick and mortar sober bar with no alcohol and also
- 30:39Speaker 3: become and that this is not a joke, by the way,
- 30:41Speaker 3: a DJ and.
- 30:43Speaker 1: So wait, same person wants to do both things. Thank god?
- 30:46Speaker 3: No different, Okay, okay, okay, but is it better that
- 30:49Speaker 3: there are two people that are in their forties that
- 30:52Speaker 3: want it? No, No, it's not these people. I would
- 30:56Speaker 3: say the best part about Summer House is what it
- 30:58Speaker 3: gives you in the universe of though, like the tentacles
- 31:01Speaker 3: that it touches. Because these people are just wack of
- 31:05Speaker 3: do and make such poor life decisions and date such
- 31:09Speaker 3: bad people that watching them in the real world and
- 31:13Speaker 3: then getting to sort of see them on the show
- 31:15Speaker 3: is kind of the best part. But I agree with
- 31:16Speaker 3: that it's really not. It's not worth an active watch,
- 31:19Speaker 3: I would say, especially not this last season.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Good. Yeah, and it's it's you kind of see a
- 31:24Speaker 2: pivot with Bravo And let me know if you guys
- 31:26Speaker 2: disagree with this where they are trying to do outreach
- 31:29Speaker 2: to younger right, So, I mean, if you go to
- 31:32Speaker 2: Bravo con, it's the average age is forty five and
- 31:35Speaker 2: a half. There, I mean, you've been there, right, Empy.
- 31:38Speaker 3: So yeah, they.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Clearly have a very loyal audience, but you know, you
- 31:43Speaker 2: need to always bring in younger, newer viewers to look
- 31:45Speaker 2: at your content. So clearly the next gen NYC is
- 31:48Speaker 2: a play on that with Summerhouse. How I'm bringing this
- 31:51Speaker 2: home is they try and bring in like people in
- 31:55Speaker 2: their early twenties to hang out with these people in
- 31:57Speaker 2: their early forties, and it is right.
- 32:02Speaker 1: It's like when they brought Gina on to Real Housewives,
- 32:06Speaker 1: OHC and Vicky Gumfelson. It's like, what, I'm sixty years old,
- 32:09Speaker 1: this girl's like thirty. Like what do I have in
- 32:11Speaker 1: coming with her? Kid's my grand kids. It's like, ohka,
- 32:13Speaker 1: and you're like great point, like you know, like I
- 32:17Speaker 1: am a lady of a certain agent. I'm not hanging
- 32:20Speaker 1: out with Looks, my daughter is here right now with
- 32:23Speaker 1: two of her friends.
- 32:24Speaker 2: They're twenty two.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I don't want anything to do with that. No, I'm
- 32:28Speaker 1: too old.
- 32:29Speaker 2: No, I was partying at My wife and I were
- 32:32Speaker 2: partying right until I hit forty and something happened after that,
- 32:36Speaker 2: Like yeah, yeah, there's no stand up till two in
- 32:38Speaker 2: the morning. Yeah anymore. Especially but somewhere else has kind
- 32:42Speaker 2: of boxed himself in because a number of cast members
- 32:45Speaker 2: are now getting to that point where they need to
- 32:48Speaker 2: make a decision if they're going to have children or
- 32:50Speaker 2: not right, And that's kind of like does the show
- 32:54Speaker 2: really work? I mean, are they going to Summerhouse getting
- 32:56Speaker 2: blasted and bringing their kids every weekend?
- 32:59Speaker 1: Right? It was just say was like vander Pump into
- 33:01Speaker 1: the Valley. You know, you do have to sort of
- 33:03Speaker 1: recast into what Summerhouse should have been doing. I'm speaking
- 33:06Speaker 1: from a person who's never watched a full episode. What
- 33:09Speaker 1: they should have been doing is bringing in the youngers
- 33:11Speaker 1: and then phasing out the olders, you know, to kind
- 33:13Speaker 1: of roll it over. It should be like Menudo. They
- 33:16Speaker 1: should bring in a new past every four years, you know,
- 33:19Speaker 1: just like bringing the younger people just out with the
- 33:21Speaker 1: old and like they tried to do with New York,
- 33:23Speaker 1: it didn't work all right. Speaking in Next Gen NYC,
- 33:26Speaker 1: I told you guys to watch it, and then I
- 33:27Speaker 1: didn't watch it. I watched the first ten minutes. I
- 33:30Speaker 1: watched the first ten minutes like six times because I
- 33:32Speaker 1: had it on. Then I would like go in the
- 33:34Speaker 1: bathroom and brush my teeth and I'd come back out
- 33:35Speaker 1: and I missed something. Okay, So all I saw was
- 33:39Speaker 1: Arianna who goes who of course is Kim Zolziak's o
- 33:43Speaker 1: atter who I saw her say, my mom is Kim
- 33:47Speaker 1: zolziak Berman. Are we saying Bierman this week? I don't
- 33:49Speaker 1: know my dad's an NFL player. I had to get
- 33:52Speaker 1: the fuck out of there. They're getting a divorced for
- 33:53Speaker 1: four years, they hate each other, they call the cops,
- 33:55Speaker 1: and yet they're together basically. And she's walking around New
- 33:59Speaker 1: York City with a couple of which I'm like, oh,
- 34:00Speaker 1: that'll be fun for your roommates if you walk in
- 34:02Speaker 1: with two dogs. And then I saw Brooks Marks, Like,
- 34:05Speaker 1: my mom is married with Marks and I'm in the
- 34:07Speaker 1: Marx family and that's a whole time job. And my
- 34:09Speaker 1: mom I want to be on a cover of a
- 34:11Speaker 1: magazine without her. That's all I saw. So see these
- 34:14Speaker 1: other people? Patrick, you watched the whole thing? Give us
- 34:17Speaker 1: the breakdown.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I did, Okay, So first episode is amazing and there
- 34:23Speaker 2: is a lot going on now the person. It is
- 34:26Speaker 2: odd to see people in their early to mid twenties
- 34:30Speaker 2: kind of just doing their thing, because I'm like, I
- 34:32Speaker 2: feel like old creepy person. There is an essence of
- 34:35Speaker 2: nostalgia because at some point I was in my early
- 34:38Speaker 2: twenties moved out to Los Angeles and it wasn't that
- 34:41Speaker 2: dissimilar from these same things that these young people are
- 34:45Speaker 2: talking about. You know, they're all aspiring to kind of
- 34:47Speaker 2: step out and make their own way. And it's I'll
- 34:52Speaker 2: say this, it's an interesting cast. They're not all children
- 34:56Speaker 2: of reality people. I can say that one of the
- 34:59Speaker 2: girls is Damon Dash's daughter. She's a model, really pretty.
- 35:05Speaker 2: And then Ariana is Kroy's daughter, right, Croy and Kim's daughter. Yeah, okay,
- 35:11Speaker 2: so she's the one that really lays it out in
- 35:14Speaker 2: this first episode. At some point she points out that
- 35:17Speaker 2: her uh, what are these what was the Cardi b thing?
- 35:19Speaker 1: These bloody shoes, red bottoms?
- 35:22Speaker 2: Yes, her red bottoms aren't red anymore because they're tattered
- 35:25Speaker 2: because she hasn't been able to buy new shoes in
- 35:28Speaker 2: a while.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Oh, because of her mom gambling by all the money
- 35:31Speaker 1: stole her money. Wow, the mom stole her money.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Stole her money. And not only that, she is currently
- 35:38Speaker 2: sending her mother money to keep her mother's head above water.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Wow.
- 35:42Speaker 1: When she said that on TV, I can't believe it.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I couldn't believe it. And then there's okay, so there's
- 35:49Speaker 2: another character on there. I wrote this down. What is
- 35:51Speaker 2: his name? Charlie. Okay, Charlie, I forget how they fit
- 35:57Speaker 2: him into this brew, but he is a crypto trader
- 36:03Speaker 2: by day. He's basically a trust fund kid. His parents
- 36:06Speaker 2: give him money and then he trades with it. He
- 36:08Speaker 2: is going to be, like I don't know if you've
- 36:10Speaker 2: seen him in the previews or if you if you
- 36:11Speaker 2: know who I'm referring to, he is going to be,
- 36:15Speaker 2: I think the villain. There's if you cast like a
- 36:18Speaker 2: sketchy guy in a movie or a twenty year old,
- 36:21Speaker 2: and he'd be that person. And then they heard from
- 36:23Speaker 2: another podcast that quite possibly he had been involved in
- 36:26Speaker 2: some kind of thing.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yes, I believe me, and I are like, yes he was.
- 36:31Speaker 1: He lives in the apartment where those two crypto bros
- 36:36Speaker 1: like kidnapped and torture the other crypto bro and then
- 36:38Speaker 1: threw him out on the street. That guy Charlie lives
- 36:41Speaker 1: with those guys, right Ruby.
- 36:42Speaker 3: He is like frequently there. He would go there all
- 36:45Speaker 3: the time. He would like party there.
- 36:48Speaker 1: This is his house. I think I think he lives there.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I think I don't know if he lives there in
- 36:51Speaker 3: one of the adjacent ones or so. I genuinely don't know,
- 36:54Speaker 3: But everybody. He's quite involved. I believe he will be succeeded.
- 36:58Speaker 3: And yeah, yeah, not the best company. I don't think.
- 37:03Speaker 3: They all just are a bunch of like rich kids.
- 37:05Speaker 3: And the best part about this too is, and this
- 37:06Speaker 3: is my favorite, these guys kidnapped this Italian kid, kept
- 37:10Speaker 3: him for however long, tortured him, did all this stuff
- 37:13Speaker 3: they were so bad at doing that he never gave
- 37:16Speaker 3: up the password, and then he escaped. So it's unbelievable.
- 37:19Speaker 3: I love it so much, and I hope that these
- 37:21Speaker 3: kids go to jail for forever. And it's incredible, and I.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Hope they get tortured in prison like whatever they did.
- 37:27Speaker 1: So they were guy Okay, Charlie.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Okay, So what I was going to say about the
- 37:31Speaker 2: first episode is you can see the money on the screen,
- 37:34Speaker 2: like Bravo put their heart into this, Like there are
- 37:37Speaker 2: so many things going on, like you know, these two
- 37:41Speaker 2: are going on a date, these people are doing a
- 37:43Speaker 2: fashion show. The first episode is always the easiest as
- 37:49Speaker 2: a long time observer reality TV because it's part of
- 37:52Speaker 2: the pilot. It was what sold the show. Yeah, okay,
- 37:55Speaker 2: I'm always going to have the most gloss over it.
- 37:58Speaker 2: So I will say this. The jury is still out
- 38:01Speaker 2: whether or not this is something that becomes part of
- 38:03Speaker 2: my regular viewing, like because once these young people have
- 38:08Speaker 2: to start interacting with each other and do their job,
- 38:10Speaker 2: which is essentially create storylines for us, that's gonna be
- 38:14Speaker 2: like we'll see if that if they can pull that off.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Okay, well I can't wait. I did record it so
- 38:19Speaker 1: that I could watch it today, even though I told
- 38:22Speaker 1: you guys to watch it, and then I didn't. Four pats,
- 38:23Speaker 1: like I stayed up all night watching this shit. You
- 38:25Speaker 1: didn't even watch it.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I actually enjoyed it once it started getting going okay.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And then also was Candy's daughter on roe Ley.
- 38:33Speaker 2: She has a crazy scene at the end where there
- 38:35Speaker 2: I cannot think of this girl's if. Her name's Georgia.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I don't know where she comes from, but she's kind
- 38:40Speaker 2: of like a nerdy girl, but she is like a
- 38:42Speaker 2: party or an event coordinator. She she did the Who's
- 38:47Speaker 2: the I can't stand her because she's famous for stealing money?
- 38:50Speaker 2: Who is that one? They've made like eighteen shows about
- 38:53Speaker 2: that stole money and then spent it. It took a
- 38:56Speaker 2: wild trip, and they've made a movie. She wears an
- 38:58Speaker 2: ankle bracelet on.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Doing on a delby.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Okay, she was the one put in charge to throw
- 39:03Speaker 2: and Anna Delviy just got out of jail party, which
- 39:05Speaker 2: was a huge like like she put on that party anyway,
- 39:10Speaker 2: for whatever reason, she sees Arianna's shoes at the club
- 39:14Speaker 2: and sees how tattered they are and she rubs her
- 39:17Speaker 2: bottom of her shoe with her hand. The rest of
- 39:19Speaker 2: the cast are completely disgusted and now they've made her
- 39:22Speaker 2: the weirdo. So when she buy to Candy Merss's daughter,
- 39:27Speaker 2: who is Riley Riley, she Riley refuses to shake her
- 39:32Speaker 2: hand because.
- 39:33Speaker 1: She's got disgusting New York City schmuggle on her. Aid.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, and so that's how the episode ends.
- 39:40Speaker 2: But fun episode.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I mean, there's a lot of people on this show.
- 39:42Speaker 1: You just named a lot of people.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there's It feels like there was at least eight.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I will say this, and my wife pointed this out.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I think there's only one straight mail. But you know,
- 39:51Speaker 2: it's grabbing a little slice of New York.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you want the drama of you know, some.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Hookups and stuff. But yeah, it's a really fun cast.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Patrick recremmends it Now.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Can I just ask Pat, do you think it has legs? Like,
- 40:08Speaker 3: do you think that these people, like this cast specifically
- 40:11Speaker 3: has enough in a seat in them for a whole season?
- 40:14Speaker 2: Well, they did something smart, and MP just pointed out
- 40:17Speaker 2: they loaded the show with cast members. You know, I
- 40:21Speaker 2: don't like small casts. I don't like five. I mean
- 40:24Speaker 2: the genius of Matt Sharp and Love after lock Up
- 40:27Speaker 2: and and god I used to reak out is multiple
- 40:33Speaker 2: cast members on a single episode just bounce around, bounce around, right.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I will be watching it. Yeah, but
- 40:41Speaker 3: the only thing so far that I've seen is Arianna
- 40:43Speaker 3: Berman with her dogs, the Brooks Marks photo shoots, and
- 40:45Speaker 3: the Charlie showing up and Meredith Marx is in a
- 40:48Speaker 3: blonde wig and tries to pretend that she's someone else
- 40:51Speaker 3: and then he's like, I know who you are and
- 40:53Speaker 3: that this is just like very weird and uncomfortable. So
- 40:55Speaker 3: I'm excited.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Spiritis on pills. What's going on.
- 41:00Speaker 3: With leand pills? She is I would like to do
- 41:02Speaker 3: whatever she's doing.
- 41:04Speaker 1: She is real, real zone all the time, real, it's
- 41:08Speaker 1: real chill. Okay, let's talk about Love Hotel. Are you
- 41:13Speaker 1: guys loving Love Hotel?
- 41:15Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Me too.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Okay, this is the show I passively I watch, But
- 41:21Speaker 2: for me, it's more like it falls. Remember when the
- 41:23Speaker 2: Kardashians were on E and they just run the episodes
- 41:27Speaker 2: all day long on a Saturday and you do your house. Yeah,
- 41:31Speaker 2: this show is that for me, because it doesn't really
- 41:33Speaker 2: have steaks, and there is no way any of these
- 41:36Speaker 2: high profile women are leaving this place for a real
- 41:40Speaker 2: relationship with any of these people. I personally, if I
- 41:43Speaker 2: was a producer, I'm always trying to fix shows. I
- 41:45Speaker 2: would have welcomed and cast males from the Bravo universe
- 41:51Speaker 2: from the past twenty years. You got some of those
- 41:54Speaker 2: handsome top chef guys. Every woman loves a guy who
- 41:56Speaker 2: can cook. Bring them on here, because I feel like
- 41:59Speaker 2: that could have mixed it up a little bit more
- 42:01Speaker 2: in a real way.
- 42:02Speaker 1: That's a good idea. That's a good idea. It's sort
- 42:05Speaker 1: of like with ninety day Hunt for Love, where they've
- 42:07Speaker 1: got some ninety day people and then some singles, And
- 42:10Speaker 1: at first I was like, I don't like that. I
- 42:11Speaker 1: don't want to meet new people, but I'm enjoying it
- 42:15Speaker 1: because the first that first episode, we get a girl saying,
- 42:17Speaker 1: oh my god, I love to loom. It's the first
- 42:18Speaker 1: place I had anal.
- 42:21Speaker 3: And we need those people because yeah, we aren't really
- 42:24Speaker 3: excited to watch.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, we're like, I don't need to see Rob
- 42:27Speaker 1: making out with somebody again. So Shannon, okay, So Shannon,
- 42:32Speaker 1: of course, you know, always a train wreck that we
- 42:34Speaker 1: can't look away from. She of course immediately picked the ugliest,
- 42:38Speaker 1: grossest guy, and she said Earl gives her comfort. Now
- 42:43Speaker 1: she's picked him over and over, and this last episode
- 42:47Speaker 1: she got upset because they were on a boat, which
- 42:50Speaker 1: really lew Aanne. I know she must have said we
- 42:52Speaker 1: got the yacht forty six times and they cut it
- 42:55Speaker 1: out because they're like, it's over saying it. These people
- 42:57Speaker 1: don't know what it means. But Earl was dancing shirtless
- 43:01Speaker 1: with a shirt open on the boat and he's, you know,
- 43:04Speaker 1: a pacy Midwestern guy and it wasn't cute, and Shannon
- 43:07Speaker 1: was disgusted.
- 43:10Speaker 2: That scene should have been like you know how the
- 43:12Speaker 2: Geico commercials like mock old people doing it. Should have
- 43:17Speaker 2: just like had that guy come out and go Earl, no, yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 2: sure it back off.
- 43:22Speaker 1: No, it's not cute. Nobody else is doing it. Some
- 43:24Speaker 1: of these much hobby guys are not doing it.
- 43:26Speaker 3: No. The best part about that, too is I'm pretty
- 43:28Speaker 3: sure that Shannon's father is although wealthy, he is like
- 43:32Speaker 3: an older, wildly inappropriate male who says.
- 43:35Speaker 1: It's like Aviva's dade, Aviva's dad.
- 43:38Speaker 3: He's like gross, yeah, yeah, Like I say, like, your
- 43:40Speaker 3: tits look great today, MP pretty high in perfect You're like,
- 43:43Speaker 3: oh my god. And because he's ninety nine, they.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Would be like, what, thank you, I'm so old. My
- 43:48Speaker 1: hands said that's to be in years.
- 43:50Speaker 3: And you know what they do, Okay, and that's beside
- 43:53Speaker 3: the point. But yeah, Shannon was going to cry and
- 43:56Speaker 3: throw up at the same time. But I think, can
- 44:00Speaker 3: I say something that I feel bad about? I want
- 44:03Speaker 3: her to be with someone like that because I don't
- 44:06Speaker 3: think that the other men will ever want to be
- 44:10Speaker 3: with her. And I think that she's got to understand that, like,
- 44:14Speaker 3: in order to achieve happiness, you need to go with
- 44:17Speaker 3: the ones who are nice to you and not the
- 44:20Speaker 3: ones who you are like, you feel like you caught
- 44:24Speaker 3: and you want something, Shannon, you know, we're no. You
- 44:28Speaker 3: know that's good Ruby.
- 44:29Speaker 1: That's that's a great point about Shannon Earl is just
- 44:32Speaker 1: her speed. Now he lives on like a lake in
- 44:35Speaker 1: Minnesota or something, and she's like, I'm a la girl.
- 44:40Speaker 1: But unfortunately she didn't snag Philip right away, who lives
- 44:43Speaker 1: in bel Air and apparently has like a couple of
- 44:45Speaker 1: rolls voice. So she didn't snag Philip.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Now what was the guy who kind of looks like
- 44:51Speaker 2: Obama a little bit right?
- 44:52Speaker 3: Yes?
- 44:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a real estate developer? Really now okay, yes.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Sirry until he said, what did you say like about
- 45:02Speaker 3: I think he's the one who's never been married, And
- 45:04Speaker 3: Giselle was like, so do you want to be married?
- 45:05Speaker 3: And he was like, you know, I think at this
- 45:09Speaker 3: point in my life like if it happens for me,
- 45:12Speaker 3: it and I was just like you can say no,
- 45:14Speaker 3: like you're allowed to say like you kid, and you
- 45:16Speaker 3: just want to be rich and that's all, Like that's fine,
- 45:19Speaker 3: you know.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's fine too, and any of them could
- 45:23Speaker 1: all be like, yeah, I mean, lu Anne, So lu Ayne.
- 45:27Speaker 1: This new man entered the villa last week and he
- 45:30Speaker 1: was a sixty five year old. Sixty five year old man,
- 45:32Speaker 1: he's the oldest man we've seen who just said he
- 45:34Speaker 1: literally just wants to travel the world. And when I
- 45:36Speaker 1: tell you, lu Ane was like, who's James, Who's Mark?
- 45:40Speaker 1: Who's everybody? I don't care. This guy sixty five, he's
- 45:42Speaker 1: on his last leg. He wants to travel the world.
- 45:45Speaker 1: This is my man, my man, my man.
- 45:48Speaker 3: And she's right and she's smart. I think leu Ane, Okay,
- 45:51Speaker 3: leu Anne needs to sit Shanon down and say, listen,
- 45:54Speaker 3: we've gone after the ones that we think are the
- 45:56Speaker 3: hot commodities to show the other people that we got them.
- 45:58Speaker 3: John Jansen, Tom Oh I love to Oh my god,
- 46:03Speaker 3: And can I just say I rewatched that season like
- 46:05Speaker 3: two weeks ago. Oh my it's It's iconic, Bethany coming
- 46:10Speaker 3: in and saying to her in tears, I have to
- 46:12Speaker 3: tell you something and saying She's like I need alcohol.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 46:17Speaker 2: She's like Tom is making out with a girl at
- 46:20Speaker 2: the bar, and Lawan's like, I love Tom. There's no way,
- 46:23Speaker 2: and she's like, I literally am staring at him two
- 46:26Speaker 2: feet away. Tom loves me. I love Tom?
- 46:28Speaker 1: Do do do do? Do so bad?
- 46:30Speaker 3: She's like, you know that.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Right after that, within months of that, Ingrid and I
- 46:35Speaker 1: went to the Regency, and not only in that, sitting
- 46:40Speaker 1: at the Regency. Did we see and talk to Taylor
- 46:43Speaker 1: Hawkins rip of the Food Fighters.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Wow?
- 46:47Speaker 1: We also saw Michael Cohen walking through the lobby, and
- 46:50Speaker 1: we fucking saw Tom at the bar with the girl.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And all of this was in the middle of the day,
- 46:56Speaker 1: the middle of the day that happened. Listen, we have
- 46:59Speaker 1: also Engler has gotten felt up Hong Kong by Harry
- 47:02Speaker 1: Duban at the Regency. We went back that night because
- 47:06Speaker 1: we're like, what the fuck else could happen? We got
- 47:08Speaker 1: to go back. We went to a play and we
- 47:10Speaker 1: went back. Met Harry Dubin at the bar, pretended like
- 47:13Speaker 1: we didn't know him, and that really set him off. Yes,
- 47:18Speaker 1: he said he used to be on a show. We're like,
- 47:20Speaker 1: what show, Well, we don't really watch. We don't really
- 47:23Speaker 1: we don't really watch Bravos, So why don't you tell us?
- 47:25Speaker 2: Tell us?
- 47:26Speaker 1: And he told us all about it, and he goes,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I was married to Aviva and you know, people don't
- 47:31Speaker 1: know this, but I also dated Kelly Bensimone. I was like, oh,
- 47:34Speaker 1: is she the one with the brown hair? Like we
- 47:35Speaker 1: acted like we had no clue because I can pall
- 47:38Speaker 1: Sonia right now. She lives around the corner was like,
- 47:40Speaker 1: please fucking don't, We're so scared. And then he told
- 47:43Speaker 1: Ingrid she had a great rack and did a little
- 47:45Speaker 1: reach around on her boobe.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Harry, Okay, yeah, nothing, that's incredible. Wow.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Yes, And one day thinking of Sonya Morgan, how did
- 47:54Speaker 2: she not make it on this show?
- 47:58Speaker 1: I think Sonya has a liability at this point, I think,
- 48:01Speaker 1: and until she she's literally getting pulled out in the
- 48:04Speaker 1: ambulances of every restaurant in New York City, she she
- 48:07Speaker 1: she can't be trusted to keep it together.
- 48:10Speaker 3: I think she can't be trusted if they're at an
- 48:13Speaker 3: international location that they can't just like send her home from.
- 48:16Speaker 3: It's genuinely not worth it to subject other people to
- 48:20Speaker 3: her behavior, you.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, I mean I think she could promise not
- 48:24Speaker 1: to drink. I mean, you know, Shannon and Luyne are
- 48:28Speaker 1: both you know, have had terrible run ins with the law,
- 48:31Speaker 1: and they're less of a liability than Sonia.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Oh my god, yeah, Karen, I mean, okay, is Shannon. Yeah,
- 48:41Speaker 3: Shannon's drinking just like very openly. She shows them all
- 48:43Speaker 3: the bloody picture and then she's like, it was the
- 48:45Speaker 3: worst end of my life and if please.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Look at this terrible picture of me. Doesn't everybody here
- 48:49Speaker 1: want to bang me? Let me show you this picture
- 48:50Speaker 1: of when I hit a house with my car and
- 48:52Speaker 1: my bloody face don't in the car. He wants to
- 48:56Speaker 1: have sex with me. Never forget about Archie. So also,
- 48:59Speaker 1: I think another thing about leu Aenne that's funny about
- 49:01Speaker 1: this show is Mark, the New.
- 49:04Speaker 2: York Guy returns.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Mark returned in a real Aladdin looking outfit, like I
- 49:09Speaker 1: don't know what that was about. But she's like, well,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I mean, Marcus, he's returned for me. He's returned for me.
- 49:15Speaker 1: We see a scene from next week where he's like
- 49:17Speaker 1: telling Ashley, actually, I came for you, yes, which's gonna
- 49:22Speaker 1: be real blow to Louisneau. Luyne's got the sixty five
- 49:25Speaker 1: year old world traveler, she's got Mark, whose she think
- 49:28Speaker 1: is really into her, and she's got her stalker, James,
- 49:32Speaker 1: who was.
- 49:32Speaker 2: The guy was his name David that was apparently into Luanne,
- 49:37Speaker 2: But since Cynthia Bailey showed up, like he starts holding
- 49:40Speaker 2: her hand. James, that's James, Okay, James is an idiot.
- 49:45Speaker 1: James is like, I do consider her my girlfriend, and
- 49:49Speaker 1: all of them are like, well.
- 49:52Speaker 3: You need to go for a walk, and you need
- 49:54Speaker 3: to go away from here for the day and then
- 49:57Speaker 3: come back when you're collected your thoughts because this is wild.
- 50:00Speaker 3: He was so weird and also the Leuwin kind of
- 50:03Speaker 3: like freaking out, being like stop it now, you're being no. Now,
- 50:06Speaker 3: I'm no no. I was like, whoa. Okay, Okay, here's
- 50:10Speaker 3: the scoop.
- 50:11Speaker 1: So Kate, our friend k Casey told me, so, this
- 50:15Speaker 1: guy James is from the OC. Her intel from the
- 50:19Speaker 1: OC is this guy is a complete loser with no job.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Oh that's why. That's why he's an entrepreneur.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Okay, be careful. So the chirons are the labels. Generally
- 50:30Speaker 2: they'll use it as chiron for what these people And
- 50:32Speaker 2: this is just in general any reality TV show. Whenever
- 50:35Speaker 2: you see entrepreneur, be very suspect. That is a very
- 50:40Speaker 2: wide spectrum of what that consultant. Yes, that's exsultant. Also,
- 50:45Speaker 2: think about this if you were and I know these
- 50:48Speaker 2: men are of a certain age and maybe they have
- 50:50Speaker 2: a certain place and you know, financially and they can
- 50:53Speaker 2: do this. How many people can leave their job or
- 50:57Speaker 2: business for six weeks to film a reality TV show?
- 51:00Speaker 3: Right when you are that which we have to keep
- 51:03Speaker 3: in mind, like, if you're doing it and you're in
- 51:04Speaker 3: your twenties, you're going to come back, even if you've
- 51:06Speaker 3: been there for a day or for the entire time,
- 51:09Speaker 3: you're going to be making tens of thousands of dollars
- 51:11Speaker 3: for Instagram posts. You guys are not doing that. Earl
- 51:15Speaker 3: is not making any money on Instagram.
- 51:16Speaker 1: So yes, Earl, he doesn't even have Instagram.
- 51:18Speaker 3: I'm man, I hope he doesn't. Let's say that unless
- 51:23Speaker 3: you are the bel Air guy, who I do believe
- 51:25Speaker 3: has real money. He's just developed a bunch of stuff properties.
- 51:29Speaker 3: He has his cars, he has his properties. He likes
- 51:31Speaker 3: nice wine. I don't know that a lot of these
- 51:34Speaker 3: other people have. Like I think people might be stressed
- 51:36Speaker 3: about still having to pay for the last three years
- 51:38Speaker 3: of college for their kids. And I don't know that
- 51:40Speaker 3: any of these women are going to be okay with that,
- 51:44Speaker 3: least of all Shannon.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I do know that Mark who came back is legit
- 51:50Speaker 1: because I had Megan Weaver on several weeks ago and
- 51:54Speaker 1: the show had just started and we were talking about it,
- 51:57Speaker 1: and she said, well, Mark, I recognized when he came
- 51:59Speaker 1: on the screen. I go, how I was like, he
- 52:02Speaker 1: looks like the Marlboro Man or something like, he's very
- 52:05Speaker 1: good looking. I mean maybe a little my son he has. Yes,
- 52:10Speaker 1: he's a little sunburned. For me, he's a little but
- 52:13Speaker 1: she said she Meghan recognized because Meghan is an interior designer.
- 52:17Speaker 1: She's followed him for years because of his real estate
- 52:20Speaker 1: development in New York City. She's like, no, he's a legit,
- 52:24Speaker 1: you know, building designer in New York City. So she
- 52:26Speaker 1: knew who he was from that.
- 52:28Speaker 3: Wow.
- 52:29Speaker 1: So actually, Luayne, but you know, the sixty five year
- 52:32Speaker 1: old guy also said this week that he really likes
- 52:36Speaker 1: that he doesn't have to be in the same city
- 52:37Speaker 1: with his girl all the time, Like he has these
- 52:39Speaker 1: three houses they bounce around. And it was like, well,
- 52:41Speaker 1: I like that, darling, because I like to fuck other
- 52:43Speaker 1: men on the side, so it works out.
- 52:45Speaker 3: I like pirates the I think it was Cynthia and
- 52:50Speaker 3: she was asking Mark. She was like, and how old
- 52:52Speaker 3: is your last girlfriend? And he was like younger, she
- 52:57Speaker 3: was younger. Young.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Now you guys haven't talked about Ralph.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Oh, okay, Ralph. Now, now, Pat, here's where your days
- 53:06Speaker 1: of working in the studio comes back, circles back, around. Okay,
- 53:12Speaker 1: Ralph has been a sound engineer for rock bands all
- 53:15Speaker 1: around the world and he lives in Nashville, so that
- 53:17Speaker 1: all tracks. Yeah, I need to know what rock bands.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I need specifics. Are we talking Grateful Dead, are we
- 53:25Speaker 1: talking Rolling Stones? Are we talking Maroon five? I need
- 53:29Speaker 1: to know what we're talking. He has said rock bands,
- 53:32Speaker 1: and I need to know which ones.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Yeah, when it said I've been around bands for twenty
- 53:36Speaker 2: or traveling with bands, I thought my instantly went where
- 53:39Speaker 2: you went with wait as a fan following the Grateful Dad,
- 53:42Speaker 2: but you actually know that he's a sound engine.
- 53:44Speaker 1: He's a sound engineer and that's what he does. He's
- 53:46Speaker 1: so they've showed some like flashbacks pictures of him and stuff,
- 53:50Speaker 1: So I'm like, what are we talking? Are we talking
- 53:51Speaker 1: about you two? Or are we talking about like the
- 53:55Speaker 1: opening band for Pearl Jam? Like what are we talking?
- 53:57Speaker 2: So there is kind of knowing the business a little bit.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Some of these guys. If you are with Maroon five
- 54:03Speaker 2: or some of those other big bands, like you're on
- 54:05Speaker 2: retainers so when they're not touring, they want to so
- 54:09Speaker 2: you can have six months to a year off and
- 54:11Speaker 2: then you go on the road for a year or whatever,
- 54:13Speaker 2: and yeah, you can make a nice living that way.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Your family life isn't shatters. I never met an engineer
- 54:19Speaker 2: that wasn't on his like third marriage.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so he has time to go on a
- 54:23Speaker 1: reality show and whatnot.
- 54:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, here's I Ashley. I want you to
- 54:30Speaker 3: go to therapy and solve the issues that we may
- 54:35Speaker 3: have to deal with with our father and ex husband.
- 54:37Speaker 3: And I think that then maybe we naturally choose you
- 54:41Speaker 3: start to choose Wallet because Mark isn't it, and Mark's
- 54:47Speaker 3: family won't like you. Okay, you mean Ralph? Sorry, sorry, Ralph.
- 54:52Speaker 3: I like it Ralph, and I keep I keep calling
- 54:55Speaker 3: him Mark, but it's Ralph, and I in my head
- 54:57Speaker 3: he looks like the character from Macket Ralph, so it
- 54:59Speaker 3: should be easy for me to remember right.
- 55:01Speaker 2: Now actually started getting the dick on Walle.
- 55:04Speaker 1: He's too he's too eager. And also I have to
- 55:07Speaker 1: tell you, I understand he wants kids, and she's got
- 55:10Speaker 1: two kids, and she's sort of like I wanted to
- 55:12Speaker 1: have my two kids with this rich guy, and I
- 55:14Speaker 1: don't want to have any more kids, like and I
- 55:16Speaker 1: get it, she's young, she's already got her kids.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I agree, with her. I need to clarify. I completely
- 55:22Speaker 3: agree with you. I didn't mean wallet like this guy.
- 55:25Speaker 3: I meant just age appropriate, just a guy that's like here.
- 55:28Speaker 3: And maybe he's ten years older than her, that's completely fine.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Maybe he's been divorced too, Who cares. I just want
- 55:33Speaker 3: her to to not go for these these people that
- 55:37Speaker 3: are like an archetype of something that she feels that
- 55:39Speaker 3: she needs because she's I don't know how many times
- 55:42Speaker 3: this girl has to proved to herself, like, regardless of
- 55:45Speaker 3: the amount of bad decisions she's making, she's picking herself
- 55:48Speaker 3: right back up and figuring her shit out so she's good.
- 55:51Speaker 3: She can have a relationship that is just makes her
- 55:54Speaker 3: feel good. I feel like she has this weird savior
- 55:56Speaker 3: dad thing that she needs and it's like, actually, just
- 55:58Speaker 3: states somebody that you like, that's all, you know.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I think she's still dating that guy Josh that we
- 56:02Speaker 1: saw on the last season of Potomac Great.
- 56:05Speaker 3: Like, genuinely, what a normal, fucking, weird, normal relationship for you, Ashley.
- 56:09Speaker 3: I hope you take it and have fun.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and then what about Giselle. Gazelle seems to hate everybody.
- 56:15Speaker 1: I feel like she she wants to like Philip because
- 56:17Speaker 1: he's rich. She doesn't want to kiss him.
- 56:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think Gazel wants anybody in. I think
- 56:23Speaker 3: Gizelle wants to have somebody when she wants them. But
- 56:26Speaker 3: the majority of the time, I think Gizelle just likes
- 56:28Speaker 3: to do things her way and she's happy that way.
- 56:31Speaker 2: She's the one cast member that feels like this is
- 56:34Speaker 2: just a paycheck.
- 56:35Speaker 1: M Okay, you're right, got good point. I would like
- 56:41Speaker 1: to go way into the best show on television, The Valley. Pat.
- 56:46Speaker 1: How close do any of these valley people live to you?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Because I've been to your home in the valley.
- 56:51Speaker 2: Let's put it this way. I walked by Tom Sports yesterday.
- 56:55Speaker 2: So these people are in Ruby, the house that she
- 56:58Speaker 2: grew up in. She's right in the thick of it.
- 57:00Speaker 2: I have to give it to them. Unlike the Real
- 57:03Speaker 2: Housewives of Beverly Hills, where everybody lives in Encino. Yeah right,
- 57:07Speaker 2: We'll actually live in the valley and every b roll
- 57:11Speaker 2: shot you see of a sign or a street is
- 57:13Speaker 2: in the valley. They're not like playing games where they're
- 57:15Speaker 2: shooting out in Beverly Hills or down by the Beach.
- 57:18Speaker 2: I mean they do that for scenes, but everything shot
- 57:20Speaker 2: in the valley, so they're staying true to it. And
- 57:22Speaker 2: I'm so happy to hear that you said you like
- 57:24Speaker 2: this show, because we love it too. But the show is,
- 57:29Speaker 2: as I assume you've heard, has low ratings. People.
- 57:32Speaker 1: No, I didn't know that.
- 57:34Speaker 2: Oh it's on the chopping block.
- 57:35Speaker 3: They're trying to cancel it and saying lowest ratings. Nobody
- 57:39Speaker 3: wants to watch it. And if people are watching it,
- 57:41Speaker 3: they think it's bad and depressing, and nobody cares.
- 57:45Speaker 1: Nobody i've talked to thinks that. I mean, people do
- 57:47Speaker 1: think it's depressing, but it's real life exactly.
- 57:50Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Case in point MP. If the Valley was doing well,
- 57:54Speaker 2: they would not have moved the premiere of gen X
- 57:57Speaker 2: in its spot. You're like shuffling times for viewers. I
- 58:00Speaker 2: know people most don't view it real time and they
- 58:03Speaker 2: record it, but yeah, I want the show to stay.
- 58:06Speaker 2: I think Alec Baskin has already come out and said
- 58:08Speaker 2: it's we've already renewed it. We're not recasting because the
- 58:12Speaker 2: fun part is the actual regular people, you know, yeah,
- 58:17Speaker 2: in their lives in the valley and they're not living
- 58:19Speaker 2: in these crazy houses. I mean, the house a million dollars,
- 58:22Speaker 2: but it's just it's very relatable to me, especially with
- 58:25Speaker 2: the kid aspect.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Yes, it totally is. And so this week we had
- 58:29Speaker 1: the whole back and forth about Jason takes his ring off,
- 58:32Speaker 1: and they solved it and then Janet brings it back
- 58:34Speaker 1: up because what we find out is maybe Janet's mom
- 58:37Speaker 1: is also a shit stir, because Janet's mom was like, wait,
- 58:40Speaker 1: you shouldn't take that sitting down, you should bring it
- 58:42Speaker 1: back up.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Yeah, here's what I will say. The storylines are very
- 58:46Speaker 2: thin this season. It's hard to have a second season
- 58:50Speaker 2: that beats the first season. I mean, the first season
- 58:52Speaker 2: had no less than three marriages implode before our eyes
- 58:57Speaker 2: are I mean, that's just gold. You're not going to
- 58:59Speaker 2: get that again. I think this show is kind of
- 59:01Speaker 2: finding itself. I do want to say, you know, we
- 59:05Speaker 2: had like a two episode arc of what a drunk
- 59:07Speaker 2: Danny is, and now we've moved onto this ring thing.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Those are kind of ridiculous storylines, I think, and I
- 59:15Speaker 2: don't think Laala and Sheena and Brock coming back are
- 59:18Speaker 2: the solution to help these things. Sena has essentially become
- 59:22Speaker 2: like background, Like I don't think she's had to like
- 59:26Speaker 2: her muscles are dull, like, she hasn't had to like
- 59:29Speaker 2: do heavy lifting as far as being a reality TV
- 59:32Speaker 2: star in years, So she just kind of hovers in
- 59:35Speaker 2: the background. And I can't stand Brock. He's my least
- 59:37Speaker 2: favorite person on reality TV. Look kids in two different countries,
- 59:42Speaker 2: and he blames the mother why he can't see them.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Like, listen, I've not I have not listen. I have
- 59:48Speaker 1: not heard that. I have not Brock say he blames
- 59:50Speaker 1: the mother. I've heard him take full blame for what
- 59:53Speaker 1: he did, and I've heard him say, We've been to
- 59:55Speaker 1: Australia a couple of times and given them the option
- 59:57Speaker 1: to see me, and it's on their own and they
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: have a great mother, they have a great stepfather, and
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: if they don't want to see me, okay, maybe they'll
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: come back around. That's what I've heard. Now he has
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: taken full blame and he has finally paid all his
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: back child support. So listen, listen. I didn't need to
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: hear about Sheena's hemorrhoids from him sticking editor butt. I
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: didn't need to hear that at all.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: M P.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: I'm going to push back a little bit just based
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: on what we do know that I think we can
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: agree upon. Children should not be the ones making the
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: decision whether dad is in their life. A dad should
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: push himself and really show them how much he's trying
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: and not stop. Yeah, because the kids will reflect on
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: that and they'll go My dad did not stop even
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: when we were, you know, pushing back. But we were
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: young and we didn't know. And thank god he kept
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: pushing because now we have a relationship. The fact that
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: he flies over to this country get finds himself on
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: a reality show, Well, he's got two separate kids in
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: different countries. I just I don't think that makes him
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: a good person.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Now, well, I think that there we can hold space
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: for two truths at the same time. But I do
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: think that it is worth noting. And I think that
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: their mom kind of sounds like she's making a good
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: decision ish by just keeping like the kids sound like
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: they're happy and she doesn't want to disrupt it, so
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: to each their own that.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Being treat I have daddy issues. Secondly, he has two moms,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: two separate women, not one.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: No, I thought I was one woman and two kids.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Really, I think they're in different countries. Okay, I could
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: be wrong.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: No, I think it's the Australian woman has two kids.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: I believe that's the case, And again I could be wrong,
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: but either way, what I and this is similar to
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Brittany and Jack's er and Pat and I have talked
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: about this. MP. You know who Jack Saylor is. You
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: saw it time again, time again, time again, and then
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: you saw it forty four more times again. Then you
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: got married and it just continued. Then you chose to
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: have a kid, And so it's like, at what point
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: do we say, like our frontal lobe was developed. Every
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: one's over twenty five, where like Sheena chose to fucking
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: have a kid with them, You're like, oh damn, all right, cool,
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: that was a choice. And I think he seems to
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: be doing a really good job with Summer Moon. They
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: seem to be a very cute little family. I think
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Jax Taylor is going to be Pat and Dylan and
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: I said, like, if he goes to jail somehow and
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: just stays there for forever, that will be the best
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: thing that happens for Brittany because she just needs him gone.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: He's going to be so problematic, and I feel so
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: bad for that kid as well, because he's going to
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: grow up and be like, whoa, that was my dad.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: That's crazy. This is cool, Okay, Jax.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Is going to marry some other young girl in the
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: next ten years and have three very small children and
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: never speak to Britney and Cruse again.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I need to take forty five minutes alone
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: in a room to say what that lot, and then
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: I will come back.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Oh don't you think He'll marry some young stupid model,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: have a few kids and never speak to Brittany and
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Cruz again, never pay a dollar for that stupid farmhouse
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: that we know as a farmhouse because it says farmhouse
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: all over it. No, he'll he'll, He'll ditch them completely.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Ruby Souse, I know, I think you could be so
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: very I'm so upset, I'm so mad.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: So we saw. This is the crazy part about Jacks,
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Like has it just been that lifestyle because it doesn't
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: seem like this is his upbringing when you see his
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: sister in this episode, well adjusted, thoughtful, and you have
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: to ask yourself, where does Jacks come from? Is it
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: just all the years of drug use and manipulating people
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: and then he just became this kind of empty, empty soul.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Every single thing he says is a lie. I mean,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: you know, we understand that he had this like huge
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: freedom tattoo across his back because he was in the military.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Never was in the military. He did this, and he
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: graduated from this college, never went to one day at college,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: like literally he just like left high school, went to Miami,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: became a fuck boy, became a model. Now the modeling
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: is true. We've actually seen the evidence of that some
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: other people. And was told he was very good looking.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: And for some people, when you're told you're very good
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: looking over and over and over, and then you believe
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: your own hype and then just think you can do anything,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: just lies about everything. And the fact that he still
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: has like Schwartz and stand ofbal to some extent, and
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Jesse being friends with him when they know, and even Jason,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: they know every word that comes out of his mouth
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: is a lie. And that's kind of fun. That's kind
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: of fun to have that fun friend that's just like
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: a okay, well, you know, he's a fucking line, but
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: he's fine at the bar. It's not fun like he's
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: he Obviously there was a domestic violent situation with his
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: wife he's been put in a rehab the escapes from
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: and then goes back. He has a child, he doesn't
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: pay the mortgage on the house. He's one hundred thousand
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: dollars in restitution to the government. Writtany said on the
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Valley after show, Okay, I was going to tell how
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: does he still have friends?
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: One? How does he still have friends too? I don't
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: know if you watch the after show. But their podcast
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: that he keeps this going that he says, our podcast
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: first of all, okay, and you guys know numbers. You
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: guys have done podcasting for a long time. He says
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: that their podcast makes one million dollars a year. Okay,
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: it's interesting, and that he handed the feed over to her,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: quote unquote so that she could take all of the
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: money and then pay for the mortgage that he owed.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: And then he still has not done that. And on
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: the after show he's saying in front of I think
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Jesse and I don't remember who, he's sitting next to Schwartz.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: He explains it. He's tripping over his words, he's stumbling
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: because he's fucking lying, and then he just says, yeah,
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: I did that, I have done that, and Brittany's like, nope,
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: hasn't done it yet, and the boys don't say anything,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: Like if you two sat here right now and said
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: that this guy was orange, I would say, well, that's
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: not true because I'm looking at it and it's blue,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: So don't gas lightly. We're changing the subject because you're
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: both liars. They don't say a word. It's insane, and
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: he's forty five.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Schwartz looks on the after show, like how much am
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I getting paid to be here? Why do I Why
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: do other people get to sit with cool people but
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I have to sit with Jack's like why can't I sit?
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Why can't I hang out with Jason? I don't want
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: to be with Jackson Jesse? I mean, Schwartz is like,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: why am I with Jackson Jesse? No matter what they say,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Schwartz just looks off to the side and they'll ask it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: He'll go, you know, man, that's not true, or he's
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: just kind of like, hey, that's not what Brittany said,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean?
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: There was something egregious that Jackson was like, So then
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: I like came into the house and I pissed all
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: over the floor, and Brittany just said like Okay, that
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: sounds good, and Schwartz was like, I don't think that's exactly.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: I don't think that's what happened.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: I have to ask you, MP, because I went on
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: a wild tangentbout how much I hate Rock. What do
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: you think about adding La La and Sheena the Valley?
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: What are your feelings on that.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: I think they're fine as bee characters. Like this week
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: we get Jared again, and then we get you know,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: and then we get Jenna, who has always been on
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the Valley as a B list friend, and that's fine.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I think they're great to come in and add a
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: little flavor and leave. I don't need them to be
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: main characters. I think that they had to bring them
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: in because Jack the left, you know, And I think
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: it's sort of the same with like on Atlanta, like
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Kenya left, so they have to bring in Faedra like
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: they got to bring in the heavy hitters. So I
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: understand why they're doing it. It doesn't bother me. Sena
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: and Lala makes sense. Brock not so much, but he's
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: there with Sena, so it's fine.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: I like the replacement theory, but no one has the
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: best tagline in housewives history. Brains booty and all business.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Is that Padra.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but okay, so I love that Jack's may be
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: in a little trouble with that bar. I know you've
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: been there, MP last night. You went there. I was
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: there two fridays ago at seven thirty at night.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: It's on Friday, on a Friday night.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: People are spilling out of bars and restaurants. The street
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: is filled. It's it's just a very busy, busy business
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: in time of night. There were two people in that bar.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: It was my wife and I and it would have
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: killed us and maybe the bartender if she was around.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: No one was there. It was a ghost sound. I
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: don't know how that business works. And I'd heard that
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: he may have embezzled some money allegedly from some of
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: the partners are invested sometimes these things and it's like.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I haven't heard that. But the fact that her wedding
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: rings were missing this week was I was like, Oh,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: he snorted those or ride up his nose.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: They're in my safe. Okay, just a quick queue, top
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: of your head, Jacks, where's your safe?
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: You you are a pathological fucking liar, and you are
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: addicted to cocaine.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: That's all it's really bad. And what you know, this
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: week we thought, for just like half a second, we
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: saw a glimmer of him saying, like, I can't believe
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the way I treated her for all these years, Like
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: it's really terrible. But because with jackson's never just a statement,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: it's always a but she allowed it. I wish that
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: she would have divorced me. I wish, you know, she
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: was so used to it, she didn't do anything about it. Like,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: m there you go. You can't just say I treated
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: her terribly. I was a terrible husband for all these years.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: But she also didn't stop me. So that's where she's
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: the bitch. Also, she fucked my best friend. No, she didn't.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: It's not your best friend. Every single person on the
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: show has said Julian is not your best friend. We've
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: never even seen this guy.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: A party in Hollywood last season.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: He's just a friend, the god on the thirty man group. Oh,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: he's on the group text, so you hast to be
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: my best friend. They're all like no. And by the way, Lala,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: if you watched the after show, Lala said she used
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: to fuck him.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, he's been passed around. He's a random pree
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: to give ridiculous to try parallel that he's trying to draw.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: He is, he's pathological. I don't know what you do though,
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: like with if you're a narcissist, can you this is
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: an actual question, can you go? Can you go to
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: therapy for that?
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: But I mean he said on the after Show that
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: he was number nine on the narcissist scale, which I
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: think it's a scale of nine, and so at least
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: he knows, but I don't know, like, once you know it,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: can you fix it? Or if you just use that
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: as an excuse to be like, well, I'm a narcissist, what.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Do you want me to do? You know what he
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: reminds me of on the after show too, when he
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: was saying about Brittany, he was like, I mean on
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: the show, he was like, I just wish she would
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: have left me, like years ago. It was like when
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Sandoval was like, she would have had to follow me
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: one time to Schwarts his house one time, And you're like, oh, oh, so.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Now we're blaming Ariana for not following you to see
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: that you were fucking her friends, because that was in
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: fact her friend.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: Right, thank you for that? Okay? Sure?
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, yeah, yeah, but you know, with Sandoval, at
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: least she sees a slight bit of remorse.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: Agreed, he's more, He's way, way, way less like Jaxon's
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: head just sounds like metal scratching all the time to me,
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: and like manic eyes going back and forth. I think
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: Sandoval has like cartoon characters kind of running around.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: You know, yeah, I think that's right. I think that
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: the Traders helped him a lot to to soften his image.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: And then we have Jesse, who also is a narcissistic sociopath.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: But Jesse is like allegedly Jesse is like, well, here's
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: the thing. I should not have called my wife and
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: the mother of my child a lying, cheating wore. But
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: she is in fact a liar and a cheater. But
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the horror part was wrong. Just how about this, I
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: shouldn't have said that end of sentence. Don't bud it,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: don't don't just just.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: An I often ask myself this with someone like Jessie,
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: who appeared, at least from the outside that he had
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: a successful real estate career on this show, I mean,
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: you're throwing talk about throwing all your eggs in one
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: basket and hoping that it works out. Because I who
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: would hire this guy to sell their house or to
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: buy a house at this point, I mean, there's only
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: one million other real estate agents out there. Yeah, you
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: look at this guy and you're like, oh, he's a sociopath.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: It's crazy because she talks on the after show. She
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: talks about like who do you think owes more money?
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Jesse or Jack's like she and Brittany compare like who's
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: got your worst X? Yeah?
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Yeah, the credit score is worse. It's like, I don't
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: think that he's in a position at all. And then
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: Jesse tries to justify it by being like, well, you guys,
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: you know you wouldn't understand because you're not in real estate,
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: So let me explain it to you. But if you
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: want to sell expensive homes, you have to hang out
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: with very rich people. So that's why you blow all
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: of your money when you go to Monte Carlo or whatever.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: And you're like, okay, Collri, Copry, Copry, I.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Have to ask both of you because I'm all right.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: So these shows on Bravo Relationships, It's one of the
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: tropes is they can't withstand a reality TV show A
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: couple Okay, and look, Andy's asked this at Bravo con.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: He'll go, hey, who's going to get divorced next? Whose
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: marriage implodes first? Janet and Jason's or Danny and Nia's.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Ooh, well, that's tough because Danny and Nia are are
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: very religious and she's got such childhood trauma that hmm.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: And they're they're getting there with the fourth kid in
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: the Santa Clarita situation. But I don't want Jason and
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Janet to break up because I think that we saw
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: this week with the metal detector. I was like, and
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: he's so excited about how much she loves Dave and Busters.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I'm like, I think Jason is a nerd as so
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: as Janet, and that's why they are together.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: I used to say this when all the weirdos would
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: have those metal detectors out of the beaches. When I
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: play as a kid, I go the same person that
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: has a metal detector goes to porn conventions to get autographs.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: It's just really.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Dave and Busters. I don't know. It's like, I don't think.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I don't think any of them are getting divorced. Zach
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: and Benji that's who I think is going to break.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Up to keep them away from our screens, please I could.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: I don't want anything to do with them. I think
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: that Danny and Nia are going to be miserable for
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: a couple of years, but they're going to push through
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: and they'll just tell themselves because we have four young kids.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: This is just what it is, and there's a very
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: strong God element to it. They're going to be in
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: like that, that picket fence phase for like six to
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: eight years. I think that Jason and Janet I can't
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: unless one of them does something horrible, like Jason gets
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: like a dui or something like that, like wildly out
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: of character. I think they might actually stay together for forever.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: I can see Danny getting divorced in like thirteen years,
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: when no one knows who they are anymore, you know.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Interesting? Okay, one more thing about the valley. Okay, this week,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Zach again says something terrible when the cameras weren't around,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: so we know that he says something terrible about Janet
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: and on Sheena's podcast, I haven't heard it. This is
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: just hearsay. Some Sheena said. Oh, he definitely said about Janet, like,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: oh my god, I hope her baby dies, Like I mean,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: he did say something terrible. Okay, it wasn't just the
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: oh I don't care. It wasn't that. It was something
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: terrible when the cameras were off. Okay, so cameras go down,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: he decides to say something terrible about their buddy Jared. Now,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: we played a game on our recap of the Valley
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: where we played what did Jared? What did Zach say
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: about Jared? Now, these are two gay guys that obviously
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: hate each other. What did he say? So we were
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: coming up with Okay, he obviously said like I hope
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: somebody fucks him up the ass with a chainsaw, Like
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: he said something terrible. But then we remembered that last
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: season on the Valley they had they went to a
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: whole big, like black tie event for the fundraising event
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: that Jared's a part of because he's a received and
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: he's an organ recipient more from an organ donor. Right,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: So then we're like, oh, he says something like that,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: like I hope his liver fails. He says, she's he
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: said something terrible about him that they will not repeat
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: on television.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Yes, I think I had something to do with a
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: penis in his mouth choking him to death.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: But that even that that's not because she was like,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you could just tell somebody to fuck off, It didn't
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: have to be that bad. So we're like it was
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: as bad as I hope your baby dies. It was
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: like I hope you're organ fails, I mean.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: Or like I feel like it would probably have more
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: of a like a fun gay flare, like it would
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: be like, I hope he gets like seriously like that
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: he gets like fucked up the ass so hard that
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: they break his new liver or something like that. Like
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: I could see him saying something like that, Ruby, that's good.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of Zac. Yeah. I think he's
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: a pretty negative person and very needy. And you could
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: see in this episode just how much how much his
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: relationship with Britney is how he identifies with himself in
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: the world, or at least lost angel.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's he came there for her, like she
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: was like, I gotta move in with this guy, Jacks,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: will you come with me? And he goes okay, and
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: he moved to La with her as a friend.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: And then he took care of her while she got
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: her boobs done because Jacks was out partying and cheating
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: on her.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: But those were the roots he picked, and it was
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: the wrong decision. Let's just all say it quickly before
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: we end. We're all watching Real Housewives of Atlanta. People
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: aren't really loving it. I'm so happy Fader's back. I
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: don't know what to do with myself.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: Me too, And again, I can understand there were wrongdoings
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: in the past. I've to watch her exist in space.
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: She's unbelievable TV. She's somehow beautiful, she's reverse aging. I
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: love her.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: I'm glad Kenya's gone. She's despicable as far as we aalayly,
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: we've seen people do a lot of horrible things that one.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: I think if may have got her where, she won't
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: even be U for a season of Villains like She's
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: that's just that bad. It was just bad. So I'm
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: happy that I didn't understand that that's how Favor got
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: cast to kind of fill that space. It just I
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: was like, oh, Favor was back.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I the story, that's my that's my guest. By the way,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I don't have any insider knowledge.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Well, it makes total sense. My favorite storyline is definitely
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Drew attempting to be a music artist with Dennis, and
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: I love Dennis because someone who can sell hot dogs
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: and be a music producer. That he's got rage talent,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: talent and let's see, yes, Drew is also a very
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: despicable person and her husband is the one that lives
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: in the basement, right.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Thank crowd.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd say that's my favorite storyline. I will say
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: about Drew. There are a lot of careers you can
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: start in your forties. Being a musketeer and a pop
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: singer is not one of them. So I always laugh
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: at that. But anyway, I'm enjoying the season. I love Porsche.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Shema is great. She's great, She's great, his main character energy,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: she's great.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: I wonder where like I wanted her on my screen
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: for the last however many years. I love her. I
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: think she's wonderful. She's shady, she serves the pod, she's
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: not afraid, and her husband is so rich. They I
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: love it. I love her money on the screen. It's
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: amazing and I like her much so.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Rich Now, Angela Oakley, pat you'll like this, am I.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: When the first episode came out, I was watching it
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: because I'll see whatever taking notes and I paused it
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: and my husband walks through the room and goes, is
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: that Charles Oakley, and I go, huh, what I don't know?
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: This is housewife is Angela? He goes, that's Charles Oakley.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: He's an NBA player. I go what. He goes, no,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: like he played with Jordan, Like he's a very famous
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: basketball player. I go, oh, I don't know. He's married
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: to this lady who's on Real Housewives at Atlanta. And he's like,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: what the fuck? I mean, he is so upset that
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: somebody that famous in the basketball world was on TV
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: as like the husband of this one. He goes, I
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: don't even know. I'm so upset, Like he left the room.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I go, well, let's just see he's cooking in the kitchen.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: He goes, no, well, no, never want tom watch VH
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: one because there's an actual series called Basketball Lives.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: He was very upset about somebody as esteemed as Charles Oakley.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: You know, of course, I was like, do you mean
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Charles Barkley. He's like, quit tal fucking.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: Because it seems like they may just be one of
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: those relationships where it's like, yeah, we don't really show
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: affection for each other anymore, and it's just, you know,
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: I think.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: They have a great relationship because she has said like, yeah,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: he did this, he acted a full there was rumors
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: about him. I left him for a while, we got
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: back together, you know, I just sort of liked it.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: She's like, we're elders. Yeah, we've been through some shit
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: as old people that are married.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: You know. I also think she looks at the other
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: women who are very catty in their new half marriage
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: half nots, and she's just like, when you get to
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: be here in the public eye, like I was, we
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: can talk, Okay, you little kittens, I am. I'm not
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: interested in it. He is the most unbothered person I
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: think I've ever seen on TV, and I appreciate it
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: immensely every time he's there.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Okay. Also, I wanted to ask you about her house
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: flipping business is not going well. Not every every week
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: we see a new house that's like she's trying to flip,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Like she has multiple properties.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: I think I've heard her say that she's twenty million
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: dollars in debt right now.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I think it was two too.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: Okay. The good news is if you own those properties,
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: I guess you're paying mortgages. And maybe maybe she meant
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: she's borrowing money to just basically keep up the payments,
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: and I could see where you get there. But if
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: she means two million dollars because the houses haven't sold
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: and that's how much she's invested, that's not really losing
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: the money.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: She needs a better contractor like all these houses, You're like,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: why have you priced this house at three million dollars?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Even in the middle of Los Angeles with a pool,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you wouldn't pay three million dollars for that house. It's
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: a piece of shit, you know, by the way, So
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: you know, I follow all the real estate stuff off
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: anywhere I ever go. So i get LA listings all
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: the time, and I'm always like, oh my god, really.
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: Really, it'll make you jump. It'll make you jump.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I mean New York too. I get New York apartments
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: all the time. But I can get behind a six
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars studio in New York. Somehow I get
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: my brain around that. I'm like, that's enough space for
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: one person six hundred Okay. I can't get my brain around.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: And I'm like, in the DC area, it's pretty expensive.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: I can't get my brain around like a one point
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: five million dollar, two bows room, one bath bungalow.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: And it's not a bungalows. It's a house that they
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: thought that you wouldn't notice if they called it a bungalow,
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: that it didn't have a roof on the side. And
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: it's like it is, I'm sorry, and this has been
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: condemned for the last nine years. And they're like, that's
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: why it's so cheap.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Pat, You're sitting on a gold mine well in the valley.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, but I will say this. When Danny and
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: Neir were talking on the valley, when they were talking
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: about houses, my head just stopped. I said, I said,
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Santa Clarita, that is where all the young couples are going,
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: because it is there's a freeway that connects Santa Clarita
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: to Los Angeles that no one drives on. So you're
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: technically twenty minutes away from Los Angeles and it's basically
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: just beautiful rolling hills of new developments. So you know,
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: you can buy a house for seven hundred you know,
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: three bedroom, two bath house. I'm sorry, I didn't know.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: This isn't a real estate show. But in Frida it's
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: probably a nice neighborhood. And uh, and you can say,
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: technically you live in Los Angeles, so you know, it's
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: it's every.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Time every time I hear Santa Clarita, I just think
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Amy Fillips. Amy Phillips lives in Santa Clarita. Oh so
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I was like, are you gonna be neighbors? She was like,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm start walking around looking for them.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: I wasn't sure if you're going to wrap it up,
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: but I did have a way to bring this home
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: from the carrokay.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: So bringing it up back to Karen ra well done.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: That's broadcasting. So one of the shows that I'm really
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: looking forward to that Bravo said is in either they
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: finished filming or it's coming out, is the Real Housewives
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: of Rhode Island or.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Probably Okay heard that, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: Yeah, you may know this year on these goes they
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: have real motherfucking money there, like oh yeah, an insane
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: beach city with crazy We're talking old old money.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: So if they do the right casting on that, that
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: is going to be a phenomenal show. And this is
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: where I'm going to tie it into Karen Reid. This is
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: a prediction, Okay, that is going to be a huge
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: success and they're going to realize maybe we need to
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: have more shows because you know New York is on
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: Haidus Hiatus Real Housewives of Boston first season two years
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: from now. Karen Reid is one of the leads.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Wow, that's your prediction.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: Huh, that's my prediction.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Okay, so hmm, well I disagree. But she definitely will
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: be on Dancing with the Stars, one said, and she
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: should be.
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: She deserves that.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: She deserves to get that mirror Ball trophy and the
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: one thousand dollars an episode they give her. Yeah, I mean, yeah,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: it'll be interesting. Karen read to me. She is like
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: a PhD professor and she goes back to teaching and
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: people are like, is that the lady that maybe got
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: drunk and killed her boyfriend and had a cost to
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: me bag, Like, we know a lot about our teacher,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: like a about our teacher. And she was trying to
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: hook up with that other dooey looking cop that.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Was just to make him jealous. She was, she would not.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: We can't be too sure there. You know, we don't
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: know about those those bossing cops.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: So that's right, that's right. She likes the cops. I
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: do love all the accents on the stand, I really
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: really do. It's just like every person is is better
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: than the next. And at some point you have to
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: even stop going like making fun of it, because you
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: would then you wouldn't do anything else.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: Yep. And also you just your brain has to like adjust.
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: You're like, just stop laughing and let them say the
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: words because it's going to be over and over again.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: It's going to be over and over. But I'm I'm
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: enjoying it as much as you can enjoy a murder trial.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: I'm from there, and it took me five full years
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: to work on my speech to eliminate that accent out of.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: My Uh, I bet it does. Yeah, It's like it's
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: like uh Spockles, It's like John Patrick's brother on ninety
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Day Fiance is like Simon down Spockles spot.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Yeah, let's never forget, all right, tell me what you're
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: covering on your show, like what days and what you
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: got over on Patreon and where everybody can find you.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Give me the whole spiel.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: I'm ready, Okay, So we do just a single podcast.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: We cut our feed from another below deck podcast and
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: put our below deck coverage on bad TV. So just
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: seek out bad TV. We're covering below Deck. We're covering
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: the valley and then on Patreon for five dollars, we're
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: covering Summer House, which is just wrapping up. I think
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: we're going to do a past season of Traders because
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: we just had so much fun covering that. And we
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: also do a show once a week where we just
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: kind of riff on our lives and people seem to
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: like that. We call it another podcast show, and that's
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: at Patreon dot com slash another podcast network.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: And everything is five dollars. You don't have like a
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: higher level, We have a higher tier. My favorite show
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: we do is PMC. That's for ten dollars, and that's
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: where it just tell you because it's one of the
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: funnest things that I get to do. I start with
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: a random celebrity of like I'll just be like, what
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: happened to that the guy who dressed up in goonies
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: as I forget the character's name, and I'll just go
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: down a wormhole like we all get trapped into and
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: see where it got me. Last episode, I started with
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Kevin Bacon and I ended with the show Jigglos, which
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Richard Greco had produced, and I learned that one of
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: the Jigglos on Showtime is guy named ash and he's
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: one of the thirteen people that p did he hire amazing?
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: What does so PMZ is like Patrick ms?
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: Yah? It doesn't.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: Yeah, instead of thirty three mile Zone is Patrick milesone?
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: Yep?
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: I am a subscriber to your Patreon. I support all
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: my friends and I listen all the time, and every
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: so often something tickles me so much I just have
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: to send you, guys a note like I gotta tell
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: you it's so funny. We appreciate you so funny, you guys.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: And by the way, Ruby Wrenn the best name in
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: the world. Every time I talk to you, I say
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: it and I will never get over it.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I will tell my mom so thank you.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: I cannot believe it's a real name. Do you have
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: another sibling besides Dylan that we know of?
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: No?
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: No, not not that you know. Okay, because I was
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: gonna that what would that one saying? I can't even
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: imagine it would be amazing? Well, my all, my love
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: to Dylan and new baby Lucy. I'm very excited for
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: this new phase of Dylan and his personality. I can't
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: wait to see what it does to his negativity.
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: Truer words were never spoken. Yes, hopefully it softens him,
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: but not too much. We like that very brash, wicked
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: tongue of his. Sometimes it brings brings the funny.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: I have to tell you something about Dylan, and he's
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: not going to listen to this, but I'll tell you
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: something about Dylan for he to me, he's the kind
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: of person I would be like a little afraid of
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: because I'd be afraid of. He would like make so
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: much fun of me that I would cry.
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Ruby's nodding and like, yes, her childhood is coming back
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: to her because he can be a little mean, you know,
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: but he has been so nice to me. Yeah, he
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: loves He loves me for some reason, and I always
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: think he's fucking with me, and then he's actually making
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: fun of me when he says he likes me.
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: I know, he is his feelings. We did a show
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: with you know, mutual friend Mark Wahlberg. Had no idea
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: that Mark essentially kind of assesses people's mental health and yeah,
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: he does go with him and he started doing that
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: with Dylan. Dylan was not a fan. And it is
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: a hilarious podcast because I had no idea what was
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: going on. I just wanted to talk about Mark's talk show. Yeah, shows,
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah. They start getting into it, and
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: Dylan definitely doesn't like Mark, and Mark doesn't like Dylan probably.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: I know you guys are neighbors, right, Yeah, he was.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: Like fifteen minutes away from here, but he does his
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: show out of our studios.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: So yeah, what is that on the Patreon because I
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: would love to hear that. I'd love to hear Mark
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: analystic Dylan.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: I know for sure it's on Mark's show. You'd have
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: to go back probably thirty shows, way before he started
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: covering the Temptation Island cast. But yeah, that's wild. You'll
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: see me being the referee, which is typically where I
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: sit with these things, Like we'll have a guest on.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: He starts getting into it. I'm like, you realize we
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: have to keep them on this this episode, right.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: God, Well, good luck to Dylan and little baby Lucy
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: and his wife. I know it's a fun time. And
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: congratulations to Ruby for being the aunt. Thank you, Barry
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: and Patrick for being the referee.
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: And p We're gonna have to have you come on
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: and you can do whatever show you want. You're watching
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: below deck, right, Nope, you're not.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: Okay, it's another detriment to me. I know, I know
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: it's another detriment, but I'm not.
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: Going to have you come over and recap the valley
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: with us.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Love it, love it all right, guys, I'll talk to
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: you later. Everybody follow you, guys at bad TV on Instagram?
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: Is that right? Yes, a bad TV And then I'm
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: at Pink Shade pod and everybody. You know, the best
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: thing you can ever do for a podcaster is to
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: go and leave them a five star review. So please
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: do that for me, for bad TV and for any
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: podcast that you like, because it's the nicest thing you
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: can do, and it's free. Okay, bye guys
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: Bye bye bye m
