- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Well in the Game Debut present about Mercedes been Patrick
- 0:15Speaker 2: playbound here with Greg Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland, who have
- 0:17Speaker 2: gone back and forth all season long, but Cynthia, something
- 0:21Speaker 2: has changed this week.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Well, we kind of haven't gone back and forth all season.
- 0:24Speaker 3: That was nice of you, but it doesn't matter. It's
- 0:27Speaker 3: how you finish, right, It's not how you start, it's
- 0:28Speaker 3: how you finish. And right now things are okay. I
- 0:31Speaker 3: didn't even know.
- 0:32Speaker 4: How to Apparently this Pittsburgh Steelers, of this operation looking
- 0:35Speaker 4: good all year and then at the end it just
- 0:38Speaker 4: sinks and I'm getting drummed all of a sudden.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Yeah, the dueling flexes there, Cynthia flexing that she didn't
- 0:44Speaker 2: even know, Greg flexing that he's been on top all
- 0:46Speaker 2: season long. But yes, with a three game lead that
- 0:51Speaker 2: she was apparently not aware of at all until our meetings.
- 0:54Speaker 5: I don't buy that. I don't.
- 0:55Speaker 6: I don't remember some of your He's.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Checking what the picks are, but it's not done yet.
- 0:59Speaker 4: We got a big Week eight team. There's weird spreads
- 1:01Speaker 4: all over the place.
- 1:02Speaker 3: I just look at my own they focus on myself, Greg,
- 1:05Speaker 3: you know, only me, I compet.
- 1:07Speaker 5: With Don Drapered me. I don't even think yeah, yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 7: Don't think about you at all.
- 1:10Speaker 2: We got more sneak diss is coming on this edition
- 1:12Speaker 2: of the game debut High stakes though. When the Vikings
- 1:15Speaker 2: face off against the Lions on Sunday Night Football, the
- 1:18Speaker 2: winner gets the one seed in the NFC. Loser falls
- 1:21Speaker 2: all the way down to five. These teams throwing haymakers
- 1:24Speaker 2: when they met back in week seven. The Vikings at
- 1:27Speaker 2: fourteen and two could be right there where the Lions
- 1:29Speaker 2: are if they get this win on Sunday Night Football. Also,
- 1:32Speaker 2: you know, keep an eye on the Falcons and the
- 1:34Speaker 2: Buckses win loss situation could change that, But we're focused
- 1:38Speaker 2: on the Vikings. Lions rematched in Detroit, steaks huge. As
- 1:42Speaker 2: we said, very close the first time.
- 1:44Speaker 7: You just saw it.
- 1:45Speaker 2: What about this time in this matchup, Cynthia, what happens?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Well, it was kind of interesting to see that koc
- 1:53Speaker 3: that coach o'connells said that to stay healthy, because that
- 1:56Speaker 3: certainly hasn't happened. But I still somehow have Detroit coming
- 1:59Speaker 3: out on top by one measily point twenty seven, twenty
- 2:05Speaker 3: six in the Motor City. I don't like this from
- 2:08Speaker 3: the standpoint of like I'd rather hedge and like have
- 2:10Speaker 3: picked Minnesota and then like just be cheering for the
- 2:12Speaker 3: Lions and just be happy about it. But you know
- 2:14Speaker 3: who else likes to take risk more than me?
- 2:16Speaker 6: That would be the coach.
- 2:18Speaker 3: And when you're looking at what Jared Gossman doing on
- 2:20Speaker 3: third and fourth down last week, that was something where
- 2:23Speaker 3: Dan and I guess Ben Johnson too, they're like, Hey,
- 2:26Speaker 3: who cares if it's third or fourth down, We don't care.
- 2:28Speaker 3: We can throw touchdowns on every single down and we're
- 2:31Speaker 3: gonna keep going for it and not let our defense
- 2:33Speaker 3: stay on the field because there's pretty much no one
- 2:35Speaker 3: playing on the defense. So ultimately using those downs, those
- 2:39Speaker 3: later downs kind of the way that you'd use second
- 2:41Speaker 3: down or sometimes even first down a very interesting. Throwing
- 2:45Speaker 3: touchdowns on fourth down. That's a risky strategy, but if
- 2:49Speaker 3: you're going to be in the position where your entire
- 2:51Speaker 3: defense is banged up, it's a risk worth taking.
- 2:54Speaker 6: And it paid off last week.
- 2:55Speaker 3: And that's gonna be something I think we see here too,
- 2:57Speaker 3: especially considering Minnesota and later downs. They don't blitz as often,
- 3:00Speaker 3: so you're gonna get better looks potentially with less blitzing.
- 3:03Speaker 6: It's interesting.
- 3:04Speaker 4: So you're hedging a little bit, you are, you are
- 3:07Speaker 4: picking the Vikings to cover the spread.
- 3:09Speaker 5: I am to cover that three AM.
- 3:11Speaker 4: And I went into this week and I was almost surprised, Oh,
- 3:13Speaker 4: the Lions are favored.
- 3:14Speaker 5: I don't.
- 3:14Speaker 4: We just kind of see that the Vikings are a
- 3:16Speaker 4: better team now. And yet when I looked at this,
- 3:18Speaker 4: sometimes this is not about the team. It's not about
- 3:20Speaker 4: the numbers, it's not about hedging. I want to watch
- 3:22Speaker 4: Sunday night. I want to root on the lines, and
- 3:25Speaker 4: I believe there's something beyond the numbers that the model
- 3:28Speaker 4: can't even replicate.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Lions win this game by four.
- 3:31Speaker 4: They cover the number, and it's because of Dan Campbell,
- 3:34Speaker 4: because he's made us all believe in something greater than
- 3:37Speaker 4: just the x's and o's and the Jimmy's and the
- 3:41Speaker 4: Joe's and the blocking and the going for fourth down.
- 3:44Speaker 4: And I just have enjoyed being part of this journey.
- 3:47Speaker 4: They are America's team. I'm sorry Vikings, like I can't
- 3:50Speaker 4: remember a team that had this many people that aren't
- 3:53Speaker 4: Lions fans backing them.
- 3:54Speaker 5: And so even though I kind.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Of think the Lions aren't as good because of their
- 3:58Speaker 4: defensive talent ultimately in the back seven, especially at cornerback
- 4:02Speaker 4: and linebacker.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Ultimately, I look.
- 4:04Speaker 4: At the just the games they've been in. They've been
- 4:08Speaker 4: making this journey for three years. You think about a
- 4:10Speaker 4: couple of years ago on Sunday Night Football when they
- 4:12Speaker 4: beat the Packers, and I just feel like they are
- 4:14Speaker 4: hard and just like Dan Campbell said, they've got special
- 4:17Speaker 4: players in golf and Gibbs, and they find a way
- 4:20Speaker 4: somehow to get it done and get themselves a little break.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, a little brick that's needed for a team that's
- 4:26Speaker 2: dealing with all these injuries. Guys, that's unanimous. I have
- 4:29Speaker 2: the Detroit Lions winning also by one. I'll give both
- 4:31Speaker 2: teams one more point than Cynthia. There might score twenty
- 4:35Speaker 2: eight to twenty seven, because I think there's going to
- 4:37Speaker 2: be high scores. The Lions clearly have those problems with
- 4:40Speaker 2: injuries on defense, but there are two parts of this
- 4:42Speaker 2: Lion's defense that are there and playing well.
- 4:45Speaker 7: It is Kirby Joseph who leads the NFL in interceptions.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Talking about Pro Bowl snubs, i'n't the way that he
- 4:52Speaker 2: has played this season. Also, Brian Branch in the secondary,
- 4:56Speaker 2: Sam Donald almost half of his attempts are past the
- 4:59Speaker 2: sticks and the intermediate defense for the Detroit Lions secondary
- 5:04Speaker 2: top three in the entire NFL. I know they are hurt,
- 5:08Speaker 2: but if we're gonna pick the quarterback to make mistakes,
- 5:10Speaker 2: we saw Donald with those high throws last week against
- 5:14Speaker 2: the Green Bay Packers. Jared Goff hasn't made those mistakes.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I think Jared and the Lions gonna win here.
- 5:19Speaker 4: They're gonna meme us, meme away. Viking spander the most
- 5:23Speaker 4: likely to meme.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Look at the blowouts that we have collectively six points
- 5:29Speaker 2: between us.
- 5:30Speaker 7: We respect the Vikings. Just feel like the Lions are
- 5:32Speaker 7: gonna win this game at home.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Moving to the AFC, the Bengals might be the one
- 5:36Speaker 2: team opponents do not want to see in the postseas
- 5:40Speaker 2: they are still alive. Here's what they need. This list
- 5:43Speaker 2: was a lot longer a couple of weeks ago, but
- 5:46Speaker 2: the Bengals need to get a win against the Steelers
- 5:48Speaker 2: and then see the Broncos lose to the Chiefs and
- 5:51Speaker 2: the Dolphins lose or have a tie against the New
- 5:54Speaker 2: York Jets, but those things will happen afterwards. With the
- 5:57Speaker 2: Bengals Steelers on Saturday night, Pittsburgh already clinched the playoff spot,
- 6:01Speaker 2: since he needs that win to keep their dream alive.
- 6:04Speaker 7: Do they get that winger.
- 6:05Speaker 4: I don't think they do. It would be better for
- 6:07Speaker 4: our entertainment purposes. On Sunday, but I think the Bengals
- 6:11Speaker 4: lose for the first time in a while since they
- 6:14Speaker 4: last played the Steelers Pittsburgh wins twenty three to twenty
- 6:18Speaker 4: because sometimes you got to believe that there's a character
- 6:20Speaker 4: to a team, and it doesn't make sense you add
- 6:23Speaker 4: up fifty three different guys and yet the same thing
- 6:25Speaker 4: keeps happening over and over. And what I keep seeing
- 6:28Speaker 4: happen this season if you go all the way back
- 6:30Speaker 4: to the beginning with this Bengals team, is they just.
- 6:33Speaker 5: Find ways to lose close games.
- 6:35Speaker 4: And it's mostly because of those guys in the secondary
- 6:37Speaker 4: in the defense, and they've been better defensively lately, but
- 6:40Speaker 4: it's mostly because they're getting turnovers. They're not really getting
- 6:42Speaker 4: a lot of stops or forcing mistakes. And you're watching
- 6:46Speaker 4: all these games over the course of the season, whether
- 6:49Speaker 4: it's in the division to the Ravens or the Steelers,
- 6:52Speaker 4: and they're.
- 6:53Speaker 5: All good opponents.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Well here's another one, Pittsburgh, and there's something I believe
- 6:57Speaker 4: that's in their DNA in Pittsburgh. I want to believe
- 7:00Speaker 4: they're different than the other Mike Tomlin teams that have
- 7:02Speaker 4: been nine and eight, ten and seven, not really that good.
- 7:05Speaker 4: I want to believe this team is an eleven and
- 7:07Speaker 4: six type of team that actually finishes the season strong
- 7:09Speaker 4: and gets this win on Saturday.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I agree with you, Greg, I think the Pittsburgh Steelers
- 7:14Speaker 2: win as well. I've got a twenty nine to twenty
- 7:17Speaker 2: eight win by this Steelers team. I would probably feel
- 7:20Speaker 2: different if both Nicks and the Broncos didn't absolutely evaporate
- 7:24Speaker 2: through the Bengals and score that touchdown on Saturday last week.
- 7:28Speaker 2: And I look back at the very last time these
- 7:30Speaker 2: two teams played when other than an interception on the
- 7:34Speaker 2: opening drive, which could have easily been defensive pass interference,
- 7:37Speaker 2: this was the best game that Russell Wilson has played,
- 7:41Speaker 2: maybe in the last five years. He was incredibly through
- 7:43Speaker 2: for four hundred yards. The Steelers could.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Not be stopped.
- 7:46Speaker 2: And yeah, I saw this Bengals pass rush not being
- 7:49Speaker 2: able to cause a whole lot of problems. There were
- 7:51Speaker 2: some mistakes, as Greg mentioned, has been the only reason
- 7:54Speaker 2: the Bengals have been able to get off the field lately.
- 7:56Speaker 2: The opposition hasn't been that well. I can't get this.
- 7:59Speaker 7: Out of my mind. I'm going with the Steelers winning, Cynthia.
- 8:01Speaker 3: You guys are letting me take the bank ah by myself.
- 8:06Speaker 6: Okay, good fine.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Cincinnati wins twenty six to twenty for prime number, this one.
- 8:10Speaker 3: I like as far as prime numbers go. Why because
- 8:14Speaker 3: you don't just have Joe Burrow who's playing out of
- 8:16Speaker 3: his mind. You don't just have Jamar Chase also playing
- 8:19Speaker 3: out of his mind, probably gonna win the Triple Crown.
- 8:21Speaker 6: You also have number five.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Who recently just signed with the same agent as Number one.
- 8:25Speaker 6: That would be Jamar Chase.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And I think this is going to be an interesting
- 8:28Speaker 3: situation where both of these guys, maybe not on the
- 8:31Speaker 3: same team, but get a huge payday. In large part
- 8:35Speaker 3: because of how the end of this season has looked.
- 8:37Speaker 6: T Higgins since returning for injury.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Oh, all he's done is score touchdowns at least one
- 8:42Speaker 3: in games and then at least seventy five years this
- 8:45Speaker 3: is the only wide receiver duo with ten or more
- 8:47Speaker 3: touchdowns each.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Chase has sixteen, t Higgins has ten.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I think that the dual threat there is going to
- 8:53Speaker 3: be too much for the Pittsburgh Steelers to overcome.
- 8:55Speaker 2: All right, so no, it's no meme, but we do
- 8:58Speaker 2: have Cynthia all by herself with the favorites, and the
- 9:01Speaker 2: Cincinnati Bengals will see it.
- 9:02Speaker 7: Hell thumbs down, Jamar t I'll.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Take a better rate if you guys want to sign
- 9:07Speaker 2: with me. It's time for expert playmakers presented by into
- 9:10Speaker 2: It Tobo attacks.
- 9:11Speaker 7: We talked about the other option.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Cynthia, Well, Jamar Chase have over ninety two receiving yards
- 9:15Speaker 2: in this game.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I have ninety nine, which is more than ninety two.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I think that this game is really going to come
- 9:21Speaker 3: down to I think it's going to be a nice
- 9:23Speaker 3: game with lots of passing yards. If you're looking at
- 9:26Speaker 3: where in the game you're going to get these yards
- 9:28Speaker 3: coming from, well, it's what happens when Joe Burrow is
- 9:31Speaker 3: not under pressure, which his O line has kept him
- 9:33Speaker 3: from pressure, and they kept TJ.
- 9:35Speaker 6: Watt and check.
- 9:35Speaker 3: So look, here's what I'm gonna say Jamar Chase ninety
- 9:37Speaker 3: nine yards.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I like it all right, A fun game in the AFC.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Let's take a look at that AFC playoff picture where yeah,
- 9:45Speaker 2: the Kansas City Chiefs have wrapped up the bye, but
- 9:48Speaker 2: this game between the Chiefs and the Broncos determines the
- 9:51Speaker 2: future for both of those teams in the hunt, the
- 9:53Speaker 2: Dolphins and the Bengals. So let's dive in to this
- 9:56Speaker 2: matchup between the Chiefs and the Broncos. Casey gets the
- 9:59Speaker 2: one seed, they will be wrestling starters. No Patrick Mahomes,
- 10:01Speaker 2: no Chris Jones. If Denver wins, they lynch the final
- 10:04Speaker 2: wild card spot in the AFC.
- 10:06Speaker 7: How do you see this going something?
- 10:07Speaker 3: I think it's a closer than expecting game out, but
- 10:10Speaker 3: that way, I have twenty five to sixteen in favor
- 10:12Speaker 3: of Denver. I'm looking at bo Nix and his evolution
- 10:16Speaker 3: from the beginning of the season. I think we need
- 10:18Speaker 3: to kind of believe Sean Payton a little bit more.
- 10:20Speaker 6: Before the season started, we were.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Kind of like, well, he's played a whole bunch of
- 10:23Speaker 3: he's old, you know, bo Nick says in he's old,
- 10:26Speaker 3: and we've seen some turnovers.
- 10:28Speaker 6: We don't know what to expect and then Sean Payton.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Comes along watches him throw like six passes, like this
- 10:32Speaker 3: is the next Drew Brees. Now I'm not going to
- 10:34Speaker 3: call him the next Drew Brees, but I am going
- 10:36Speaker 3: to say we've seen such a stark contrast from the
- 10:38Speaker 3: beginning of the season to the end and his evolution,
- 10:41Speaker 3: his strategic use of the run game, his strategic I
- 10:45Speaker 3: do want to see how overall the Broncos run game
- 10:47Speaker 3: looks in this matchup, but I think it's a nice
- 10:49Speaker 3: solid win, just maybe a little closer than the number
- 10:51Speaker 3: is predicted.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 4: So it's the first game we're talking about. We're talking
- 10:55Speaker 4: about who's sitting and who's playing. Carson Wentz is starting
- 10:59Speaker 4: for the Chiefs and that's why you see that monster number.
- 11:02Speaker 5: I think the Chiefs cover that number.
- 11:03Speaker 4: So Cynthia and I think the Broncos win and they
- 11:07Speaker 4: ultimately go to the playoffs because they're different than old
- 11:09Speaker 4: Broncos team, because they have superstar quality players. This has
- 11:13Speaker 4: been such a one sided matchup Denver in Kansas City
- 11:16Speaker 4: over the last six seven years, but if you think
- 11:19Speaker 4: back to earlier this season, it was a very close game,
- 11:22Speaker 4: and it's partly because they have premier talent. You're watching
- 11:25Speaker 4: Zach Allen, who made the Pro Bowl, who might make
- 11:29Speaker 4: All Pro, who if he had a different name, would
- 11:32Speaker 4: be a star at this point because he's playing at
- 11:34Speaker 4: a star level. You're looking at Patrick's.
- 11:37Speaker 7: Back if his name was like Razor Allen.
- 11:39Speaker 4: I came up as a third round pick and he's
- 11:42Speaker 4: just not a well known guy because he comes from Arizona.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Patrick's defensive Player of the Year, premier talent. And I
- 11:48Speaker 4: would throw Quinn Miners in there, who probably should have
- 11:51Speaker 4: been on the Pro Bowl team or an All Pro.
- 11:53Speaker 4: But three guys who might be the very best at
- 11:56Speaker 4: their particular position. That's enough to get them through what
- 11:58Speaker 4: I think will be an anxious, closer game than Broncos
- 12:02Speaker 4: fans really want.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I've also so got the Denver Broncos not necessarily
- 12:08Speaker 2: covering that line because rosters are only so big in
- 12:11Speaker 2: the NFL. The Chiefs have had injuries at skill positions.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Some people have to play, and so I think it's
- 12:16Speaker 2: closer there. I got a five point win. But we
- 12:18Speaker 2: are meming here, and Greg mentioned all the talent on
- 12:21Speaker 2: this Denver Broncos team. Let's discuss Courtland Sudden. What a
- 12:24Speaker 2: season for him. He's making difficult catches. He's making he's
- 12:29Speaker 2: like the only guy on the team.
- 12:30Speaker 7: That's doing it.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Thirteen catches this season with a sub fifty percent completion probability,
- 12:35Speaker 2: more than all other Broncos receivers combined. Just a really
- 12:40Speaker 2: good season for a really good player, for this old,
- 12:44Speaker 2: elderly twenty five year old, twenty four year old quarterback
- 12:46Speaker 2: who turned twenty five in February in Bonnicks.
- 12:49Speaker 7: But it was the critiques and people.
- 12:51Speaker 6: I didn't make it up.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I'm not like shaming. I'm not old shaming him. I'm
- 12:55Speaker 3: just saying that that was one of the draft notes him.
- 12:57Speaker 6: He's old. Yeah, I didn't say it. I just said it.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Was like like a couple months older than Jaydon Daniels,
- 13:03Speaker 2: like Jill Ever, Right, they're not going to dry up
- 13:05Speaker 2: playing football. Saints Bucks in Tampa, Baker coming off a
- 13:09Speaker 2: smooth five touchdown performance against the Panthers.
- 13:12Speaker 7: If the Bucks win Sunday, they.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Clinch the NFC South in a spot in the playoffs.
- 13:16Speaker 7: Do they take care of business?
- 13:17Speaker 6: Cynthia, Heck yeah, they do. Thirty to thirteen is my score.
- 13:21Speaker 3: In Mike Evans, he gets his next one thousand yard season.
- 13:25Speaker 6: That makes it eleven. He needs eighty five yards.
- 13:28Speaker 3: That feels super manageable for him, maybe even in the
- 13:30Speaker 3: first half. Then they can sid him in the second
- 13:32Speaker 3: half well on their way to the postseason.
- 13:35Speaker 7: I believe they do so as well. Baker plays well.
- 13:37Speaker 2: But the guy that has been the big spark in
- 13:40Speaker 2: this late season push by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as
- 13:42Speaker 2: their rookie running back Bucky Irving, who I think has
- 13:45Speaker 2: great things to look forward to. Tampa Bay wins at
- 13:47Speaker 2: twenty four to thirteen, powered by their one thousand yard
- 13:51Speaker 2: rusher and Bucky Irving, who has a whole lot of
- 13:54Speaker 2: yards against the Carolina Panthers this season. And I recognize
- 13:58Speaker 2: those helped statistically, but look at what he's been able
- 14:00Speaker 2: to do down the stretch, especially those wins on the road,
- 14:04Speaker 2: and now they're back at home. I think Bucky Irving
- 14:06Speaker 2: powers this Bucks offense to another win.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Yeah, it's going to.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Be tough for Falcons fans watching this because they're just
- 14:12Speaker 4: hoping for a chance, and I think there is no chance.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I think the Bucks roll thirty seven to eleven is
- 14:17Speaker 4: my score. And I'm going to talk about Shaq Barrett,
- 14:21Speaker 4: who is now on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Yeah, one
- 14:23Speaker 4: of the Super Bowl heros when they won back in
- 14:26Speaker 4: the twenty twenty season, was so good off the edge
- 14:29Speaker 4: for them. Retired, came out of retirement, was with the
- 14:32Speaker 4: Dolphins for a little while, and eventually they'd let him
- 14:34Speaker 4: go so he could play on a team he'd rather
- 14:37Speaker 4: play for.
- 14:37Speaker 5: He's very close with Todd Bowles.
- 14:39Speaker 4: He's been through a lot lately in terms of his
- 14:42Speaker 4: personal life, and he said when he was retired, it
- 14:45Speaker 4: sort of reignited his.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Love for the game. So I think that's pretty cool.
- 14:50Speaker 4: They could use a pass rusher, just something to watch
- 14:52Speaker 4: down the stretch, something they're someone they're really excited to
- 14:54Speaker 4: have back.
- 14:55Speaker 7: In the build.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Yeah, quite a luxury, be like, oh yeah, let's bring
- 14:57Speaker 2: Shaq Barrett back and go win this division.
- 15:00Speaker 7: Let's take a look at the odds to win. It's
- 15:02Speaker 7: not NFC.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, right now, the Falcons are looking at this Bucks
- 15:07Speaker 2: game against the Saints, the fourteen hundred.
- 15:10Speaker 4: We should have been listened to me before the season.
- 15:13Speaker 4: You can check out my division picks. I had the
- 15:15Speaker 4: Bucks to win it when everyone was on the Falcons.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Yeah, it wasn't even close. All it took was an
- 15:19Speaker 7: over top loss to me.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Washington Commanders for those Falcons who have the Panthers coming
- 15:25Speaker 2: up in Lanta again, needs a win here plus the
- 15:27Speaker 2: Bucks to lose.
- 15:28Speaker 7: How's that one gonna go? Greg?
- 15:29Speaker 4: I think the Falcons do win this game, and I
- 15:31Speaker 4: think it's an important game for them to prove kind
- 15:33Speaker 4: of they've taken a step. Losing two straight at the
- 15:36Speaker 4: end would be disappointing, but Michael Pennox gets them a
- 15:39Speaker 4: close win twenty six to twenty three. I like the
- 15:41Speaker 4: Panthers a lot to cover this eight point spread because
- 15:44Speaker 4: to me, the Falcons have not earned the right to
- 15:46Speaker 4: be this huge and favorite against a good quarterback in
- 15:49Speaker 4: Bryce Young. And yet what we've seen out of Michael
- 15:51Speaker 4: Pennox the last couple of weeks I think will give
- 15:54Speaker 4: the Falcons and their fans optimism heading into the off season.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Look at that pass when he throws those out routes
- 15:59Speaker 4: down the field, that it gets there so fast that
- 16:02Speaker 4: the decision making is right, The poise is terrific. The
- 16:06Speaker 4: movement ability and all that like that'll come with time,
- 16:10Speaker 4: but he certainly is moving better than Kirk Cousins, So
- 16:12Speaker 4: I think it's ultimately a positive how they finished.
- 16:15Speaker 5: As long as they win this game, don't lose it.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think the winning opportunity comes easy here.
- 16:20Speaker 7: I got the Falcons.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Winning twenty four to sixteen, mainly not just taking shots
- 16:26Speaker 2: at Bryce Young and his Panthers offense, but the run
- 16:28Speaker 2: defense is historically bad in Carolina. They've given up twenty
- 16:32Speaker 2: eight hundred yards rushing this season, and in terms of
- 16:35Speaker 2: EPA against, they're the second worst rush defense in the
- 16:40Speaker 2: history of the Next Gen Stats era, going all the
- 16:43Speaker 2: way back to twenty and sixteen. And that means Bjeon
- 16:46Speaker 2: Robinson will have an incredible opportunity. He's got six touchdowns
- 16:50Speaker 2: in his last five games, one hundred and twenty five
- 16:53Speaker 2: yards and one of them ninety four with two touchdowns.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Ninety with two touchdowns a week ago.
- 16:58Speaker 7: Big week for Bijon and the Falcons.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Well, they have to rely on the Saints, which is
- 17:02Speaker 2: a tough spot for Falcons fans to be in.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Sid Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I have Atlanta winning too, but only by seven points,
- 17:07Speaker 3: so just one touchdown twenty six to nineteen, meme away.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Interestingly enough, I just feel like we should say at
- 17:13Speaker 3: least one nice thing about the Panthers and that's about
- 17:15Speaker 3: Adam Thielen, Adam Felen's ability to really help Bryce Young out,
- 17:19Speaker 3: especially after kind of a weird beginning of the season.
- 17:22Speaker 6: Things were not good.
- 17:23Speaker 3: There were some injuries, there's a lot of It was
- 17:25Speaker 3: a really tough season overall for this entire offense. But
- 17:29Speaker 3: I've been watching the routes that he's been running, I've
- 17:31Speaker 3: been watching him get open.
- 17:32Speaker 6: I've been watching a.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Lot of fun things from Adam Thielen, and I think
- 17:36Speaker 3: that that has really helped Bryce Young. So if we're
- 17:38Speaker 3: looking for something positive here, look at the connection between
- 17:41Speaker 3: those two.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Look at the dimes being dropped about number nine out there.
- 17:45Speaker 5: No, no, you're right. Steelan was supposed to be washed
- 17:49Speaker 5: up years ago. He's not washed up and he's amazing.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Stop ending people's careers like both of those players who
- 17:55Speaker 2: had a great turnaround this season. When we come back,
- 17:57Speaker 2: Tyreek and the Dolphins need a win to keep their
- 18:00Speaker 2: playoff dreams alive. They're going to MetLife to take on
- 18:03Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers and the powerful Jets. Aaron would love to
- 18:06Speaker 2: crush the Fins and what could be his final game
- 18:08Speaker 2: as a Jet.
- 18:10Speaker 7: Maybe he is anyone who's gonna win. Find out coming
- 18:13Speaker 7: up next on Game Debut, We're back on.

- 18:36Speaker 2: presented by Caesar sportsbook Is. I'm sure the folks in
- 18:39Speaker 2: Rome would be able to read those numerals a.
- 18:41Speaker 7: Whole lot better than me. The Dolphins at the.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Jets' first touchdown score odds, it doesn't look like we're
- 18:49Speaker 2: very confident that the touchdown will be scored, but for
- 18:52Speaker 2: because the odds team up for VRSS Hoggen in Theilme
- 18:55Speaker 2: Devon Hm, Devonte Adams, Tyreek Hill, Garrett Wilson. Miami needs
- 18:58Speaker 2: a win to stay alive in the playoff Hunt a
- 19:02Speaker 2: win and hoping the Chiefs can be the Broncos who
- 19:05Speaker 2: as dealing with a hip injury. So Snoop Huntley pro bowler,
- 19:07Speaker 2: Snoopuntley starting again? What do you see taking place with you?
- 19:11Speaker 3: So, as of what we know right now, and this
- 19:13Speaker 3: could change should their offensive line be different. I have
- 19:16Speaker 3: the Miami Dolphins winning by two points twenty two to twenty.
- 19:20Speaker 6: It always makes me laugh whenever you ever hear that.
- 19:22Speaker 3: But I just want to give a little love to
- 19:23Speaker 3: John new Smith, who's been a huge reason why this
- 19:26Speaker 3: team has a lot of different chances in every game.
- 19:29Speaker 6: The tight end. He's been electric this year.
- 19:31Speaker 3: He's been not just a guy who you can rely
- 19:34Speaker 3: on to get you those crucial third downs or touchdowns,
- 19:37Speaker 3: but also like he's changed his route, Like if you
- 19:39Speaker 3: watch him, if you were to pan out and watch
- 19:41Speaker 3: the all twenty twos, you can actually see him adjust
- 19:44Speaker 3: his route really specifically. So both quarterbacks have been very
- 19:47Speaker 3: happy to work with him, but also just watching his
- 19:50Speaker 3: ability to get open finding separation is huge and that's
- 19:53Speaker 3: part of the reason. Why not just he, but this
- 19:55Speaker 3: offense has been so helpful and been part of a
- 19:58Speaker 3: winning you know, as much winning as they've done and
- 20:00Speaker 3: putting them in the position to at least be eligible
- 20:02Speaker 3: for the playoffs in Week eighteen, and.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Even there in that highlight package you see them dragging
- 20:06Speaker 2: across the field. For this Dolphins offense that hasn't been
- 20:09Speaker 2: able to run the ball very well down the stretch.
- 20:12Speaker 2: In fact, they've actually been bad at it, which is
- 20:14Speaker 2: why you.
- 20:14Speaker 7: Might think I would take the Jets here.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I've got the Dolphins twenty one to eighteen because the
- 20:20Speaker 2: reason that you take the Jets is you believe their
- 20:22Speaker 2: quarterback will complete some passes and be good.
- 20:25Speaker 7: But these past few games, it has been downright bad
- 20:29Speaker 7: for Aaron Rodgers.
- 20:31Speaker 2: So many opportunities to complete short passes one hundred Williams
- 20:34Speaker 2: ends up scoring a touchdown on this one. He had
- 20:36Speaker 2: Kennybola wide open, nobody in eight yards of him last week,
- 20:40Speaker 2: and he threw him a bounce pass. It's just a
- 20:42Speaker 2: rough spot for me to take Aaron Rodgers and the
- 20:45Speaker 2: Jets against the team that actually has an outside hope of.
- 20:49Speaker 7: Going to the playoffs in this one. So yeah, I
- 20:51Speaker 7: will take I'll take the Miami Dolphins as well. Great.
- 20:54Speaker 5: Yeah, this is a really tough one to pick. Now.
- 20:57Speaker 4: It's been a tough year for modeling systems, like in
- 20:59Speaker 4: terms of like elections or whatever like. But there is
- 21:02Speaker 4: one system that's had one hundred percent success rate, and
- 21:04Speaker 4: that's been fraud.
- 21:05Speaker 5: Watch all season long.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Both Patrick and I put the Jets on fraud Watch.
- 21:09Speaker 4: They've remained fraudulent. I'm taking them off Broadwatch for Week
- 21:13Speaker 4: eighteen because the Dolphins are all banged up and they're
- 21:16Speaker 4: gonna get it done because of Greg Joseph. This is
- 21:18Speaker 4: gonna be a game we have no touchdowns, all kicks.
- 21:23Speaker 4: This is Greg Joseph in Washington. We couldn't find any
- 21:26Speaker 4: grooveage Jets footage.
- 21:28Speaker 5: I don't know what the number is in.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Terms of seizing the season, in terms of picking a
- 21:33Speaker 4: game with zero touchdown, six field goals'll get it in
- 21:36Speaker 4: there because the Jets can't finish any drive, so they
- 21:38Speaker 4: get six field goals. They have never finished the drive
- 21:40Speaker 4: with Aaron Rodgers's quarterback, don't check that.
- 21:43Speaker 5: But the Dolphins snoop punt lee.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Okay, I can live with him, but they're missing both tackles,
- 21:47Speaker 4: most likely Kenda Lambs on IR we don't know about
- 21:49Speaker 4: Toronto Armstead as we're taping this, and that's too much.
- 21:54Speaker 4: So I'm taking him off Broadwatch and Greg Joseph will
- 21:57Speaker 4: deliver me a game that I need to come back on.
- 21:59Speaker 5: Cynthia, do it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: For Greg, Greg, although he just has one g Let's
- 22:04Speaker 2: look at the draft order entering Week eighteen. These are
- 22:07Speaker 2: the stakes for those of you who would like a
- 22:08Speaker 2: team to lose. The Patriots right now holding on to
- 22:11Speaker 2: the number one overall pick, having to fend off the Titans, Browns,
- 22:14Speaker 2: and Giants all sitting currently at three and thirteen. So
- 22:18Speaker 2: keep that draft order in mind as we get to
- 22:21Speaker 2: some quick picks here. On Game day view, the Bills
- 22:25Speaker 2: and the Patriots. Buffalo locked into the two seed in
- 22:27Speaker 2: the AFC. If the Patriots win, they could miss out
- 22:30Speaker 2: on the number one overall pick. So what takes place.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Welcome to your DFS lineup, Mitch Trubisky. Buffalo wins twenty
- 22:39Speaker 3: four to seventeen.
- 22:41Speaker 6: I think this one. I want to give a little bit.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Of love to the defense. We talked about a lot
- 22:45Speaker 3: of things with this offense, but Greg Russo has had
- 22:48Speaker 3: a really wonderful year. Of course, Von Miller's still there
- 22:50Speaker 3: aj Fanessa, but bringing the heat, bringing pressure in the
- 22:54Speaker 3: postseason is going to be a big deal. And you're watching,
- 22:57Speaker 3: especially Greg Russo have just a breakout season.
- 23:01Speaker 6: They're going to have to figure out to pay him.
- 23:02Speaker 3: That's a problem for later than future them. But ultimately
- 23:05Speaker 3: this is where a little bit of the difference is made.
- 23:07Speaker 3: I had questions about the defense coming in and Greg
- 23:10Speaker 3: Russo he has answered them.
- 23:11Speaker 4: They're resting starters though we ekteen is funky when Patrick
- 23:16Speaker 4: and I are picking the Patriots starters to blow the
- 23:19Speaker 4: number one seed, but the Bills.
- 23:21Speaker 6: Are Mitch Trubisky.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yeah, the power of Mitch Trubisky. Let's go to the
- 23:25Speaker 2: Texas and Titans. Houston locked into the four seed and
- 23:28Speaker 2: the AFC Tennessee has the number two overall pick.
- 23:30Speaker 7: Right now, do they do they at the end of
- 23:33Speaker 7: the week, grit No.
- 23:34Speaker 5: I think the Titans win this game.
- 23:36Speaker 4: I think the Patriots win too, because the Texans and
- 23:39Speaker 4: Jamiico Ryan say they're going to play their starters and
- 23:42Speaker 4: everyone has to be ready, but their starters aren't even
- 23:44Speaker 4: playing well lately, especially on the defensive side. Like as
- 23:48Speaker 4: great as they've been all season long, they've given up
- 23:50Speaker 4: a lot of points lately, and I just don't know
- 23:52Speaker 4: if they're the type of team that can go out
- 23:54Speaker 4: there and play for a quarter and a half and
- 23:57Speaker 4: then rest their guys and think they're going to win.
- 23:59Speaker 5: That is what I expect.
- 24:00Speaker 4: When coaches say they have to be ready to play
- 24:03Speaker 4: and they're gonna get some work, that usually means they're
- 24:05Speaker 4: not going to play the whole game the way they've
- 24:07Speaker 4: been playing over the last ten weeks. What reason do
- 24:11Speaker 4: I have to think Davis Mills and their backups are
- 24:13Speaker 4: going to win a game.
- 24:15Speaker 5: Let's go tighten.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe that reason is the other team could have
- 24:19Speaker 2: the number one over all.
- 24:21Speaker 7: The bit good.
- 24:21Speaker 5: Players don't care about that, but maybe you're right.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see the Browns and Ravens Saturday afternoon. Baltimore
- 24:26Speaker 2: can clinch the AFC North with a win. I think
- 24:29Speaker 2: they do, although the number a little bit rich for me.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I've got a twenty one to thirteen win here, and
- 24:35Speaker 2: we're gonna see another quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. And
- 24:40Speaker 2: if you're watching this video of Dorian Thompson Robinson and thinking, well,
- 24:43Speaker 2: he turned the ball over all the time, why are
- 24:45Speaker 2: we playing him instead of Jamis Winston, Well, we got
- 24:48Speaker 2: another quarterback coming in who has more interceptions in his
- 24:51Speaker 2: career than touchdowns. That's Bailey Zappi playing, which is why
- 24:55Speaker 2: Greg Rosenthal has a thirty to eight score. Not a
- 24:59Speaker 2: lot of faith in the Cleveland Browns, but I think
- 25:00Speaker 2: they're playing for something, an opportunity to spoil.
- 25:02Speaker 4: I mean that's generous. They scored three against the Dolphins
- 25:05Speaker 4: last week.
- 25:05Speaker 2: It's been rough the Giants and Eagles Philly locked into
- 25:08Speaker 2: the two seed in the NFC. They're resting their starters,
- 25:11Speaker 2: including Saquon the Big Blues team starters gonna win against
- 25:17Speaker 2: the Eagles.
- 25:18Speaker 4: A do I'm going with all the teammoots who are
- 25:20Speaker 4: playing their starters blowing their draft pick. Drew Locke, It's happening,
- 25:25Speaker 4: Malik Neighbors. This guy is a force of nature. That
- 25:29Speaker 4: was one of the best games I can remember out
- 25:32Speaker 4: of a rookie wide receiver I've ever seen.
- 25:34Speaker 5: It reminded me of Odell Beckham against the Cowboys back
- 25:37Speaker 5: in the day.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Man, this kid can make every type of throw and
- 25:41Speaker 4: I think Drew Lock has played better than the numbers
- 25:44Speaker 4: indicate all season. Again, it's a bunch of starters against
- 25:47Speaker 4: a bunch of backups, and that's why these numbers are
- 25:50Speaker 4: so low.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Minus three for the Eagles. What are you laughing at?
- 25:53Speaker 7: I'm laughing at.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Drew Lock throwing for like three are ars there, Melik's
- 25:56Speaker 2: Neighbors running for.
- 25:57Speaker 7: Fifty seven star touchdown.
- 25:58Speaker 5: It's your playmakers game of his life.
- 26:01Speaker 7: Drew Lock coming up the Chargers. Raiders in Vegas.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Coach Harball says, if there's a chance to move up
- 26:06Speaker 2: seeds in the playoffs, they are gonna take it. So
- 26:09Speaker 2: LA is playing to win the game. The Raiders of
- 26:11Speaker 2: one two in a row. What happens here?
- 26:13Speaker 4: Greg, I think the Chargers do win this game, and
- 26:15Speaker 4: they win it going to way twenty three to thirteen
- 26:18Speaker 4: because Justin Herbert is playing his best ball of the
- 26:20Speaker 4: year at the end of the season.
- 26:23Speaker 5: That is absolutely huge. And then on the.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Flip side, on defense, Derwin James has been on a
- 26:27Speaker 4: sack streak. Very nice to see Derwin James rewarded with
- 26:31Speaker 4: a Pro Bowl appearance. They're using him more around the
- 26:33Speaker 4: line of scrimmage. He also is always the happiest guy
- 26:37Speaker 4: in the postgame celebration. You can tell when they talk
- 26:40Speaker 4: like culture. I don't even know what that means. I
- 26:42Speaker 4: think it's just having guys who are really good that
- 26:45Speaker 4: care a lot. And I think Jim Harbaugh recognized Derwin
- 26:48Speaker 4: James as a like minded individual, a really talented individual
- 26:52Speaker 4: who cares a lot.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Happy to see him doing so well.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a fun team, a lot of guys to
- 26:56Speaker 2: root for. I also have them scoring twenty three points.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I've got to win twenty three to nineteen, and they
- 27:02Speaker 2: get one of their best players on offense back and
- 27:05Speaker 2: we saw JK. Dobbins be a part of this offense
- 27:07Speaker 2: when they really started to play well. Played well last week,
- 27:11Speaker 2: didn't have to play a lot, but what an opportunity
- 27:14Speaker 2: for a guy who I think could be the comeback
- 27:16Speaker 2: player of the year in the NFL.
- 27:18Speaker 7: And JK.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Dobbins powers this team to twenty three points early and
- 27:22Speaker 2: then they could shut it down as the defense holds
- 27:24Speaker 2: strong and gets this win against Las Vegas.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Cynthia, I mean, twenty three seems to be the number
- 27:30Speaker 3: for the Chargers. From twenty three to sixteen is my score?
- 27:34Speaker 3: A touchdown win for the Chargers.
- 27:36Speaker 6: Mimus Away. I just want to talk about Brock Bauers.
- 27:39Speaker 3: One last time because we're probably not going to I mean,
- 27:41Speaker 3: we're not talking about in the postseason, but ultimately what
- 27:44Speaker 3: he's been able to do, breaking Mike Dickka's sixty three
- 27:47Speaker 3: year record, that's incredible. It's all about yards after the catch,
- 27:51Speaker 3: yards after the catch, over expected, all the different ways
- 27:55Speaker 3: that he's been able to run, all the routes on
- 27:57Speaker 3: the route treet be effective in each and every one
- 28:00Speaker 3: of them. The thing about this kid is he's so quiet.
- 28:03Speaker 6: We don't even hear him. He doesn't talk about it.
- 28:05Speaker 3: He's not like one of those people who's telling us
- 28:06Speaker 3: how amazing he is, So we get to be the
- 28:08Speaker 3: mouthpiece for him. He should at least be in consideration
- 28:11Speaker 3: for Offensive Player of the You're just with lad mconukey
- 28:13Speaker 3: as well. But Rock Bowers an amazing talent. We're going
- 28:16Speaker 3: to be watching him going forward, and you know next
- 28:18Speaker 3: time we'll talk about him is probably you know in
- 28:20Speaker 3: the preseason where we're doing fantasy drafts and you're gonna
- 28:22Speaker 3: want to.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Draft him very high.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Oh no, I'm covering him in the Pro Bowl games
- 28:26Speaker 4: very early.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Same after the first half on Thursday. I know some
- 28:29Speaker 2: Georgia fans would like Brock Bowers and Ladd mccaukeey'll still
- 28:31Speaker 2: be there. Let's go for more or less talk to
- 28:33Speaker 2: some player props for the colossal Vikings Lions matchup on
- 28:37Speaker 2: Sunday night. Gretx Well one, Jared Golf, So for more
- 28:41Speaker 2: or less? Wait, just one passing touch?
- 28:43Speaker 4: I mean, let's throw the moon. Can I just throw
- 28:45Speaker 4: it off the camera? It's over, I mean one and
- 28:47Speaker 4: a half. It's never gotten any easier. Brian Flores in
- 28:51Speaker 4: this defense, I'm curious how aggressive they will be, but
- 28:54Speaker 4: there's usually holes in the middle of their defense. If
- 28:57Speaker 4: you're going to attack the Vikings, that's where you attack them.
- 29:01Speaker 4: And who is graded attacking the middle of the field.
- 29:03Speaker 4: It's Jared Goff Right, there's your.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Lips to whoever's in charge his ears to make that happen.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Whoever's in charge, Just here, Greg, I.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Will ask you about the opposition then, Cynthia, because Justin
- 29:13Speaker 2: Jefferson has two one hundred yard games at his last four,
- 29:16Speaker 2: does he go for more or less than ninety one
- 29:19Speaker 2: and a half.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Receiving you He's another guy who have ninety nine yards
- 29:22Speaker 3: forecast for more yards than that. This defense is real
- 29:27Speaker 3: lying there are a ton of players still on IR.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I think a lot of those players at Carlton Davis specifically,
- 29:33Speaker 3: I would really like to have him back for this
- 29:35Speaker 3: matchup with Justin Jefferson. I think the key will be
- 29:38Speaker 3: not letting both Justin Jefferson and Jordan Maddison have one
- 29:41Speaker 3: hundred yards.
- 29:42Speaker 6: Let's just keep it just too.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Justin, Yeah, just one the Lions. I'll take one running
- 29:47Speaker 2: back to Tamir Gibbs had over one hundred and sixty
- 29:49Speaker 2: scrimmage yards Monday night in a game they didn't need
- 29:52Speaker 2: against the Niners. Do I think he's going to go
- 29:54Speaker 2: over one hundred and twenty four and a half on
- 29:56Speaker 2: Sunday night in a game that the Lions would like
- 29:58Speaker 2: to win that they actually have a yes, I do,
- 30:00Speaker 2: because Jamiir Gibbs is so versatile, and I know this
- 30:03Speaker 2: Minnesota Viking defense that Brian Flores brings into Detroit has
- 30:07Speaker 2: a solid opportunity to stop the run. But Jamiir Gibbs
- 30:10Speaker 2: can get you in so many different ways. Ben Johnson,
- 30:13Speaker 2: while he's not calling reverse passes to his tackle, if
- 30:16Speaker 2: he calls a screen, Jamia Gibbs could take out to
- 30:18Speaker 2: the house.
- 30:18Speaker 7: At any moment. I like him to go north. Not
- 30:20Speaker 7: just one twenty five and a half. I can put
- 30:23Speaker 7: that number even higher.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Let's the Commanders and the Cowboys in Dallas, Washington already
- 30:28Speaker 2: going to the playoffs.
- 30:28Speaker 7: If they win Sunday, they stayed the sixth seed. Does
- 30:32Speaker 7: that happen? Great?
- 30:32Speaker 5: It does.
- 30:33Speaker 4: I think this is a game where you look at
- 30:35Speaker 4: the first matchup and you see the Cowboys had the
- 30:37Speaker 4: upset and actually plays into the Commander's hand.
- 30:39Speaker 5: They know not to take it lightly.
- 30:40Speaker 4: They win twenty seven to twenty because Jayden Daniels has
- 30:44Speaker 4: gone from one of the best scrambling young quarterbacks in
- 30:47Speaker 4: the league just one of the best running quarterbacks in
- 30:49Speaker 4: the league periods.
- 30:50Speaker 5: Or just one of the best runners.
- 30:51Speaker 4: I mean his decision making last week. He's so decisive.
- 30:54Speaker 4: When he decides to go, he goes, and he makes
- 30:56Speaker 4: people miss and then he goes quietly and smoothly out
- 31:00Speaker 4: of bounds, and it's like laughing and talking to the
- 31:02Speaker 4: defenders as he's doing it, Like the game seems so
- 31:05Speaker 4: slow for him for a rookie, it's remarkable. And now
- 31:09Speaker 4: he's going up against one of the worst rush defenses
- 31:12Speaker 4: in the league.
- 31:13Speaker 5: In a few.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Years, I think the regular ground game can get going.
- 31:17Speaker 4: But when it doesn't work, Jade Daniels will get plenty
- 31:19Speaker 4: of scrambles, and I think they win this and they
- 31:21Speaker 4: cover the number and make sure they go get that
- 31:23Speaker 4: six seed.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I have five points, so not quite covering the number.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Twenty seven twenty two in favor of the Commanders.
- 31:30Speaker 6: When I'm looking at this, I want to talk about.
- 31:32Speaker 3: The unsung hero. That would be zach Ertz. When you're
- 31:35Speaker 3: looking at Scary Terry who made the Pro Bowl, which
- 31:38Speaker 3: is very exciting, You're obviously looking at Jade Daniels, who's
- 31:40Speaker 3: very likely to win the Offensive Rookie.
- 31:42Speaker 6: Of the Year. We kind of forget that some of.
- 31:45Speaker 3: These really clutch moments, these like key third downs, these
- 31:48Speaker 3: last minute touchdowns, where is he looking well when Terry
- 31:51Speaker 3: m Corn isn't open, He's looking right at zach Ertz.
- 31:54Speaker 3: So I'm watching this tight end and he's obviously a
- 31:57Speaker 3: central figure to a Cliff Kingsbury offense. He was with
- 32:00Speaker 3: him in Arizona, now he's with him in Washington. Trust,
- 32:03Speaker 3: we don't talk about how zach Ertz is still getting
- 32:05Speaker 3: it done even if he's not an Eagle or even
- 32:08Speaker 3: at whatever, he's still great.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Yeah, also beefing with Nick Sirianni in the division of fun.
- 32:13Speaker 6: Fact Zach er it's so fun.
- 32:15Speaker 7: That I don't have them covering the number either.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I've got a slim Washington win twenty two to twenty
- 32:21Speaker 2: because they've had problems running the ball. They couldn't run
- 32:23Speaker 2: the ball against this Cowboys defense, which is also historically bad.
- 32:27Speaker 2: That number one team rush EPA since twenty sixteen allowed
- 32:32Speaker 2: is the Dallas Cowboys.
- 32:34Speaker 7: In twenty twenty four.
- 32:35Speaker 2: They've been historically bad, and the Washington Commanders lost to
- 32:38Speaker 2: them in the closing moments, which is the opposite of
- 32:41Speaker 2: what's happened in the closing moments for the Commanders this season.
- 32:43Speaker 7: Look at all of these wins. Yes, it's not just
- 32:46Speaker 7: the Hail Mary.
- 32:47Speaker 2: It's the late touchdown that we saw at the top
- 32:49Speaker 2: against the Atlanta Falcons. It's the late touchdown in the
- 32:52Speaker 2: division against the Philadelphia Eagles that was moments before Ertz
- 32:56Speaker 2: and Sirianni started beefin. It's just been close, So why
- 33:00Speaker 2: not have one more close game for the Washington Commanders
- 33:03Speaker 2: before they go into the postseason. Here in twenty twenty
- 33:06Speaker 2: four season, Tom fors to do some quick picks as
- 33:08Speaker 2: we are.
- 33:09Speaker 7: Memed away on the Commanders.
- 33:11Speaker 2: The Bears Packers in Lambeau green Bay already going to
- 33:13Speaker 2: the playoffs. Bears haven't won in Green Bay since the
- 33:16Speaker 2: Jordan Bulls we're playing.
- 33:18Speaker 7: Does that change? Sunday, Greg, I don't know if it's true.
- 33:20Speaker 5: I think that's been absolutely outrazous.
- 33:23Speaker 6: Unfortunately, it's obviously true.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Unfortunately for the pack I mean for Bears fans. You
- 33:28Speaker 4: have to watch one more game, but that's it. Then
- 33:30Speaker 4: it's over. You can take a break. Thirty to seventeen.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Packers win this game by doing what they've done all season,
- 33:35Speaker 4: by running the second they get off the bus. So
- 33:37Speaker 4: whether it's Josh Jacobs or Manuel Wilson, like, you don't
- 33:40Speaker 4: need to give Jacobs thirty carries in this game. But
- 33:42Speaker 4: we've seen if Malik Willis is that quarterback, they can
- 33:45Speaker 4: run the ball well, he can throw the ball well.
- 33:48Speaker 4: This is not a game where I'm worried about them
- 33:50Speaker 4: going to the backups. If they happen to be scoreboard
- 33:52Speaker 4: watching and you see Washington winning and maybe they're not
- 33:55Speaker 4: playing for much, their backups are going to be a
- 33:58Speaker 4: Bears team which is just ready for this season to end.
- 34:00Speaker 4: This is why we can't have an eighteen game season,
- 34:03Speaker 4: Roger Goodell, because nobody needs eighteen Bears games.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Please, all right, the campaign begins from Greg Grossthal. Seahawks
- 34:10Speaker 2: and rams La gonna be resting their starters, so we're
- 34:12Speaker 2: gonna see Jimmy Garoppolo in this one. It's not because
- 34:15Speaker 2: of that, but I will take Seattle to win the
- 34:17Speaker 2: game eighteen to seventeen because we almost had an opportunity
- 34:21Speaker 2: for this game.
- 34:21Speaker 7: To really matter. It came down very.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Close of ball going off Trey McBride's face mask, but
- 34:27Speaker 2: just the opportunity for Jackson Smith and Jigbo who's had
- 34:30Speaker 2: a tremendous season especially late here, and the Seahawks passing
- 34:34Speaker 2: offense to get to ten wins against the Rams team
- 34:38Speaker 2: that's going to the postseason.
- 34:39Speaker 7: So a win there. We're all on the Seahawks.
- 34:42Speaker 2: The forty nine ers Cardinals also win the division in Glendale,
- 34:45Speaker 2: both teams out of the playoff race.
- 34:47Speaker 7: Who does it for Pride.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Cynthia Arizona.
- 34:50Speaker 3: I guess twenty four to twenty one, and why because
- 34:53Speaker 3: I think Trey McBride has a massive game. We finally
- 34:56Speaker 3: saw him get in the end zone.
- 34:58Speaker 6: The Great American nightmare is over. He scored.
- 35:02Speaker 3: But I think in this matchup again he's going to
- 35:05Speaker 3: have a nice opportunity. Obviously, tight ends wearing number eighty
- 35:09Speaker 3: five are a big deal in this matchup just overall,
- 35:11Speaker 3: but I think that it's going to be the eighty
- 35:13Speaker 3: five for the Cardinals that sees the end zone potentially
- 35:16Speaker 3: or has the bigger game.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Are unanimous for us on the Cardinals. Last one Jags
- 35:20Speaker 2: and Colts. I'm actually taking Matt Jones and the Jags
- 35:23Speaker 2: here to win twenty three to twenty a week after
- 35:25Speaker 2: seeing Drew Locke dice up this defense. But I do
- 35:27Speaker 2: want to talk about Anthony Richardson, depending on his status.
- 35:31Speaker 2: We are having these conversations later in the week, not
- 35:34Speaker 2: as late as I would like to hear more confidence
- 35:36Speaker 2: from stain Stichen about his starting quarterback playing through what
- 35:40Speaker 2: could be a couple of injuries there. If Anthony Richardson,
- 35:44Speaker 2: if the vibes are better about him feeling better, then I'll.
- 35:47Speaker 7: Flip this pick around.
- 35:48Speaker 2: But just considering all that this Colts defense has been through,
- 35:53Speaker 2: that's what scares me and causes me to pick a
- 35:55Speaker 2: team that could have the number one overall pick, pending
- 35:57Speaker 2: results this week still to come. So your team isn't
- 36:00Speaker 2: going to the playoffs, that's fine because now you can focus.
- 36:03Speaker 7: On rooting against your enemies, Tess.
- 36:06Speaker 2: You can spend more time checking out prop bets of
- 36:08Speaker 2: the week or on a hot street props on props
- 36:11Speaker 2: that's coming up next. Write this down next here on
- 36:14Speaker 2: game debut.
- 36:19Speaker 7: Sunday at nine am Eastern. Rich is in, Kurt Warner,
- 36:22Speaker 7: Steve Maryucci.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Cendia Freeland, the sar on the show, and the whole
- 36:25Speaker 2: crew get you.
- 36:26Speaker 7: Set for kickoff with NFL Game Day Morning.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Kurt warner sits down was Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson,
- 36:32Speaker 2: plus Lil Wayne and actor Oshane Jackson Junior joining the
- 36:36Speaker 2: show live in studio Sunday at nine am.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Did you see in the green room littl Wayne has
- 36:42Speaker 4: a special section of drinks just for Little Wayne.
- 36:44Speaker 7: Yeah, which is important. I'm leaving those drinks alone.
- 36:47Speaker 2: There's a fun fact for you guys to note well
- 36:49Speaker 2: inside baseball stuff for write this down here on game debut.
- 36:52Speaker 7: Some predictions for Week eighteen. Fire us off, Greg.
- 36:55Speaker 5: Okay, for back to back weeks.
- 36:57Speaker 4: I've taken the Lions team total, and I've taken Jamir
- 37:01Speaker 4: Gibbs's yards from scrimmage total, and I've smashed them together,
- 37:04Speaker 4: and I told you to combine them to get a
- 37:06Speaker 4: little extra And that's.
- 37:08Speaker 5: What's gonna happen again. They keep raising the number.
- 37:10Speaker 4: I don't care over one hundred and twenty four and
- 37:13Speaker 4: a half scrimmageyards against a good Vikings run defense.
- 37:16Speaker 5: Doesn't matter. He'll get it through the air. The team
- 37:18Speaker 5: total little more worried about.
- 37:20Speaker 4: Twenty nine and a half is a lot, but they
- 37:22Speaker 4: have average thirty seven and a half over the last.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Four weeks against some pretty good defenses.
- 37:28Speaker 4: So I like the Lions offense to know they need
- 37:31Speaker 4: to play their best when it matters. The most they
- 37:34Speaker 4: get over thirty and Jamir Gibbs brings it home. I'm
- 37:37Speaker 4: catching up the write this down segment. Picks have been
- 37:40Speaker 4: hot again.
- 37:42Speaker 6: I hope you're right about that one, but mostly who wins.
- 37:44Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with Bijon Robinson and I think that
- 37:47Speaker 3: he has more than one hundred and fifteen and a
- 37:49Speaker 3: half scrimmage jars against the Panthers. The team needs a
- 37:52Speaker 3: win here, but also Bijon Robinson has been electric. I
- 37:56Speaker 3: think this number is very low against a run defense
- 37:59Speaker 3: that is still being run on by someone else, ran on, run,
- 38:02Speaker 3: on run, whatever the past tense run is, that's what's
- 38:05Speaker 3: been happening.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I'm also going to take in Atlanta Falcon and it's
- 38:09Speaker 2: maybe not the one you're thinking.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Which all pitts.
- 38:13Speaker 2: And a half receiving yards against the Panthers. Cow pits
- 38:17Speaker 2: seventeen targets in the last four games, including that one
- 38:20Speaker 2: in overtime, which I think, excuse me to get the
- 38:23Speaker 2: game to overtime, which I think might lead to Michael
- 38:25Speaker 2: Pennock Junior, targeting his big tight end a little bit more.
- 38:28Speaker 7: Thanks for watching us here on.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Game deviut presented by Mercedes Benz for Cynthia and Greg.
- 38:33Speaker 7: I'm Patrick. We'll see you next week. Enjoy the games.
